Chinguacousy Park is a great destination for families all year round, offering a wide range of activities for visitors of all ages. In the winter, visitors can enjoy tubing and sliding, while spring brings opportunities to partake in outdoor activities. During summer months, the park is an excellent place for picnics and water-based activities. Fall at Chinguacousy provides stunning displays of changing colours to admire.
Really very nice park to visit in core Brampton. Very big park where u see animals and horses. You can even ride electric scooter which is paid but worth to give a shoot. In winter they also have snow tubing and skies. There also a play ground for skating.

Love to go there everyday on summers even someyimes in winter for a walk.
City added perfect new rides last year for the kids. Splash for kids in summers.
Great spot for picnic in summers and for out door kids parties.
Tube slides in winters are icing on the cake!
Fireworks on some of the static holidays.

Highly recommend going in for skiing and tube snow slide experience.
Tried this fun activity for the first time. Amazing experience!! Staff was friendly and quick. Short waiting and well organized. Awesome environment.
There is a café on site where you can buy hot chocolate and some snacks, with both indoor and outdoor seating options, so that's a nice option to warm up if it's especially cold out.
Free marshmallow and hot chocolate during Family day.
Staff is super friendly and experienced!

Great park with lots to do with kids. Good amount of picnic tables. A little pricey for carousel train and petting zoo but seeing as everything else is free I can understand the price point. $40 for 8 tickets. Both train and carousel take 1 ticket each ride. Ice cream truck sell $6.50 and up for most things. We brought some snacks and drinks from home so highly recommend this to save some money from concessions. Overall kids happy and willdefinitely be back

It's a magnificent park and so lively in summers. It has a splash pad and various rides for kids. Carousal, train and gives all picnic feel .Very well connected to public transport and it's a go to place for all ages. There is a small pond where I have also seen people boating. Overall it's a good place where you can have a good one day picnic and on weekends you will also find ice cream trucks. Washrooms are a bit unclean , rest all things I found good .

Very beautiful, very tranquil, nice play area and splash pad for the kids. Beautiful lawn for picnic, seating area. A duck pond and beautiful garden. One of my favorite parks to visit. Absolutely love it! Wedding chapel and petting zoo.

A large and very beautiful park great for having a picnic and parties with family and friends. Play areas are great for kids of all ages. It also has a splash pad and a train ride for kids. The trail is also very beautiful perfect for a walk or cycling. Kids can enjoy riding bikes or scooties on the trails as well. It also has a nice pond and some benches nearby to sit and enjoy the beautiful views. Entry and parking is free and has ample parking space. Overall it is a great place to spend a day in the outdoor with your friends and family.

I visited here last weekend with my daughters and their mother. We all had an amazing time. There is so much to do! A really nice park for the kids to play on, a small park for the little ones and a zipline! A fairly good sized splash pad for when it gets hot out and you want to cool down. You can go paddle boating on the pond for $10 for half an hour or play some mini golf for $2 a person! There's a wading pool as well and a greenhouse to look at some plants. There is also small petting zoo and pony rides as well and a Mary Go Round but the tickets are a little too expensive... $40 for 8 tickets. Not worth the 2 minute ride. You can also visit here in the winter to go skating and tubing down the massive hill on the property as well! They do sell food at a very reasonable price if you get hungry! Overall this place is amazing for friends and families to visit for a couple of hours or for a day for a picnic and just to get together and make some memories!

Chinguacousy Park is a wonderful destination for families all year round! Whether it's enjoying the peaceful atmosphere during a leisurely stroll or engaging in outdoor activities with the kids, this park offers something for everyone. From picnics in the summer to skating in the winter, it's a fantastic place to connect with nature and make lasting memories.

I would love to give a 3.9 rating to the park. It is a nice place to hang out with family and friends. The best part is that it is spacious so one can have a picnic with family and friends, for children there are distractions like swings, fountains and little zip lining. For winters they have a small area for skiing. A place to enjoy peace and nature time to time.

I am regular visitor to Chinguacousy Park and it is the best place to visit with kids in all seasons..
Winter- Enjoy tubing and slide
Spring- Enjoy outdoor activities
Summer- Best picnic spot with water activities
Fall- Enjoy colours
There are lots of activities for kids. There is slides and outdoor activities for all age kids. There is mini outdoor animal areas but it opens only in summer.
There is also carnival merry go round but it is not open right now. There is sufficient free parking space but you may face issue during peak time. The place is fully accessible so everyone in the family can join.

Beautiful park and so much to do especially for kids!
Even for a stroll it's simply lovely.
$6.00 for 6-8 mins of train ride which is decent but they did charge for a year old as well.
Ample space for picnics and seems like they have so much more to offer even in winter.
Definitely going to visit again and again!

It's an all in one park. They have a zip line for kids, big slides with built-in rope climbers, swings, splash pad, petting zoo, carousel, picnics, and barbecue areas. Older kids can even rent electric scooters available there. For the carousel, you need to purchase tickets.
There is a shop serving drinks, chips, fries, pizza slices, and other snacks for kids. However, on the weekend when the crowd is more, they're usually sold out on the pizza slices :(
It's a complete entertainer for kids while parents can relax keeping a watch!

Beautiful park!! Lots of activities for all ages.
Weather you are looking to enjoy brisk walking in summers or want to do snow tubing. Weather you have kids that you want to bring outdoors to make new friends or you are open to make some new friends yourself, its very lively place! Such childhood energy around the park that you can’t have enough.
Beautiful sunset by the pond, or just enjoying trails. Looking for some time with nature or spending some time with your thoughts, you find all in here.
Update:- Visited the park again and discovered yet new treasures of nature at this park!
Park had wedding Chapel, Green house, pony ride, tropical garden!
Will definitely go again :)
The Claireville Conservation Area is a large nature preserve located in the municipality of Northumberland, just outside Toronto. The park is home to a variety of ecosystems, including wetlands, valleys, forests, grasslands and the west branch of the Humber River. The trails are well maintained and the park has ample parking. Seasonal garbage removal could be improved, but overall this is an excellent place to hike in all seasons.
This is a little known but sizeable park just outside the City of Toronto. We had a wonderful 2h walk and only saw a third of the park. Nice mix of paved roads (no vehicles) and well maintained trails. The trails get a little muddy in the winter. Lots of parking, but you need a GPS to find the parking lots. Could use more frequent garbage removal in the off season.....

I came here as a volunteer to help with “Girls Can Too” summer program and I found it well-organized and insightful. It was obvious that the staff cared about providing children with best experience and help them get ready for their future career.
The conservation area itself is well-maintained and ample parking spots are available on premises.

Visited with family in the first week of November 2021 and really like the beauty of this area. The conservation area is located on the north of Brampton and very famous place for pre-wedding shot. Parking space is limited but you will get something.
Total area is 850 acre and there are plenty of tracks. Some key tips:
- Claireville Ranch and West Bridge are two major attraction
- There is good walk from parking lot to the green area
- Must carry stroller or wagon if you are going with kids as it is long walk
- There are very few places to sit in the area so be ready for walk
- Continue on the main trek as some side trek can be difficult for kids and can’t take wagon
Must visit place is fall if you want to enjoy the nature.

I decided to bike here alone to see if it's worth bringing the family over. The ranch close to queen street requires reservation and is booked until August for pony rides. On the other side which seems to be a walking trail is a beaten down bridge and a small stream of smelly water underneath. If you are looking for a nice walk in nature this is your place. Otherwise nothing much to see here.

This park in the northeastern edge of Brampton offers a fairly nice hiking trail in nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There's some really nice forested areas but there's also some trails that are too close to Highway. I did enjoy the fresh air and the trees and the quietness of the surroundings. As you can see in the pictures that I've attached there's some really lush natural landscape and we barely ran into anybody over the course of our 1 and 1/2 hour trek. The one thing I was disappointed about is that there was quite a bit of litter along the way in some areas. This is reflective of the people who frequent the area. I wish we could impose fines for people who litter in in the woods.

My toddler attends the little saplings parent and tots sessions here and she absolutely loves it and so do I!
It is one of the more reasonably priced nature parent & toddler programs, the mud kitchen is a huge hit and it's the perfect timing between naps.
My daughter especially connects with teacher Betty, she loves her!
So happy and grateful to have access to this program and we can't wait to enroll in their forest preschool program!
Thank you so much for all of your hard work organizing everything Jasmine!

Really nice natural area with trees, grass, and trails. Perfect place to try horseback riding. The price is very reasonable in my opinion. The trail is pretty long and includes little forest areas and hills. It’s very relaxing and all the horses are very well trained. 10 out of 10 experience and I’d recommend to anyone going and old.

The place was huge! It's a nice place for a walk. Not much of hikes but so friendly for dogs. The fall colors are beautiful!! Trails were clearly marked and so many trails to choose from. There are maps everywhere. Good terrain for a run or bike too. Many picnic tables scattered for public use. I did not see a washroom though. There are parking available on site. We were not able to go to the stable but would love to try guided horseback riding with my kids next time. I would frequent this park with my dog.

The soon to open Claireville North trail is a great new connection to the neighbourhoods north of Queen Street. Unfortunately, they have not paved the entire path which means it will be messy on rainy days, and challenging for people with strollers or with mobility issues, and will receive no winter maintenance.
The Rose Theatre in Brampton is a modern performing arts venue that hosts a variety of concerts and productions. It has excellent acoustics and an intimate atmosphere, despite its medium size. The theatre offers good washroom facilities, a snack bar, and convenient underground parking. Visitors can see the stage well from almost any direction. The location is close to many restaurants, making it easy to find dining options before or after attending an event at the theatre.
The Rose Theatre is a great medium sized theatre, you can see the stage well from almost any direction. I've gone to two concerts at the theatre and never had a problem hearing or seeing the performers. There are good washroom facilities, a snack bar, and underground parking. I would highly recommend seeing a show there, it has an intimate feel, while still being big enough to make you feel like you were part of an event.

I saw Tegan and Sara on their acoustic Not Tonight tour and it was amazing! A perfect venue for an intimate show such as this. The sound and lights were amazing. The bathrooms and theatre were very clean and the ushers polite and helpful. I didn't buy drinks so I can't speak to the cost. The underground parking was free for the night which was amazing especially considering tickets were over $80, but it was worth the cost! Beautiful venue that I would definitely visit again!

Fin. Saw the Wizard of Oz. Really good production. Staff was very pleasant. Theatre was great. Sound was great and you had a great view from.yoyr seats. We have 1st row balcony. Would have been nice if the bar was open.
Wear comfortable clothes because the seats are a bit cramped with minimal leg room so it makes it difficult when people need to pass by to go to the washroom.
Still...it was a great show. Lots of fun.

Nestled in the Brampton area, it was a pleasant surprise to see the views here. Normally I'm accustomed to the Humber trail, but when we arrived we took about an hour or so to enjoy the first lakeside trail(the one along the tree trekking line). Heart Lake Conservation Area is located in Brampton, which is a fantastic site for family or group events, no matter large or small.
Boathouse fishing and tackle, no license required. Learn to Fish program for beginners, pool and splash pad, picnic areas with benches, fitness trail, Tree Top Trecking/ Zip Line, canoeing and kayaking, cycling and hiking, dog walking, or just a nature walk is fine.
If you are looking for an adventure for kids of all ages, get outdoors and choose your adventure, this is the place. However, you have to pay extra if you want to play those activities. I don't think they will allow for overnight camping over there.
There is a bathroom/change room located near the pool and splash pad. There are stairs to walk down to the Heart Lake where you can find another washroom facility. However, there are porta-potties only in the picnic areas or along the trails.
Several huge parking lots in different areas are available, but you have to pay for general admission.
Passenger vehicle: $24.00
Large van: $42.00
Bus: $300.00.
The Medicine Wheel Garden is organized by the Aboriginal Network, TRCA, City of Brampton, and community groups, a place for healing, celebration, and peace, which is fantastic to drop by.
The breathtaking landscape along the lake is absolutely an oasis for nature lovers. It's definitely a natural beauty for spending a whole day with family and friends.

Heart lake is a beautiful area, with expansive land for picnics and activities. In addition to the tree top trekking, splash pad and zip lines there were a few small areas to fish, and boat rentals. In addition to the entry fees, all activities have additional fees.
After following the first trail for a few km, it ended, and the only option was to follow the same trail back or make the mistake of diverting to another one and getting lost like we did. We eventually exited into a parking lot 15 minutes away from our original starting point and walked along the road. There are no maps along the trail...only numbered posts which do not particularly help. The trails were long but not very interesting. If you are not interested in the other activities, there is not a lot to see along the trails.

All of these amenities are kept up nicely. Rental services for boats and other watercraft are also offered. Overall, Professor's Lake's lovely surroundings and variety of recreational options provide a tranquil haven from the bustle of city life.

What a gem! Very reasonably priced to rent canoes/kayaks. $8 for 30 minutes to rent a canoe! Sadly the beach was closed due to water quality. Will call in advance next time or check the website. Didn’t know you can book a canoe/kayak in advance either.

I enjoyed my first visit to Professor’s Lake. I brought my own kayak and spent $6.00 for the full day access. There are two parking lots. If you are bringing your own craft, I would suggest the second lot closer to the lake. Buy your ticket inside and show your receipt at the gate to be let in. Even if the lake is closed for swimming, it will still be open for water craft activities.

One of the best recreational spots in Brampton. The best to visit this lake is morning and evening. Most of the visitors come here for morning or evening walk or stroll. The water is very clear and ease to view the base of lake with naked eyes. Moreover, this recreational lake is nature habitats or home of many birds like ducks.

Went here in summer season with friends and family. Was amazed to see the mini beach cum lake vibe coming from the place. We sat on a bench enjoyed brunch and spent a few hours. The environment was good and safe for kids too. Boating options were also available if you go before 4pm or so. Entry fee of 4.5$ which is totally reasonable and justifies the place.

The beach is awesome and the staff are super nice. Its very much a family oriented beach.
They rent paddleboat for $10, canoes for $6.3, kayaks $9.2, and stand up paddle board for $11.
The entry fee for adults is $4.25 and kids $3 and Group of 4 are for $12
There are two beach volleyball nets and a water slide for kids.
Please note that BBQ’s are prohibited.

Great place to go with family, they have a family area of the lake which is "swimable" or you can go alone for a peaceful time by yourself to clear your head. Also great trail to walk your dog.
The Region of Peel Archives is a hidden gem in Brampton, offering cool exhibits of art and local history. Visitors have found it to be an interesting place with ongoing exhibitions and knowledgeable staff. Some feel that the management could do more to advertise and attract more visitors, as the location is not easily marked on Google Maps. Despite being less busy than larger galleries, it's a place worth checking out for those interested in family history information and unique exhibits.
What a hidden gem! Had a pleasure to visit this place and I was amazed by the knowledge of the staff! Definitely a place to check out in Brampton

The Pearson Convention Centre is a top choice for events like weddings and cultural celebrations. The staff, particularly Fernando, goes above and beyond to ensure every detail is perfect. Guests appreciate the clean and spacious facilities, making it a standout venue for any occasion.
Dearest Silvana and the wonderful team at Pearson Convention Center.
Words cannot describe how grateful I am to you all for making our event so spectacular.
Silvana is kind, knowledgeable, straightforward and reliable. I could not have asked for a better Sales Manager to be in contact with during a Global Pandemic. I initially reached out to Silvana in early 2019, and after endless emails, phone calls and in person visits, we were finally able to have our dream reception in October 2021.
Finding a wedding date that took into account our religious and auspicious timings, me and my husband's very busy schedules as heath care providers, along with the rapidly changing Covid-19 guidelines; was very difficult to say the least. Throughout the years, we changed our wedding dates and plans more than 10 times. Although this was a frustrating process for everyone, each and every interaction with Silvana was pleasant and comforting. No matter how many times we contacted her, she responded gracefully and respectfully. She was very organized and with her many years of experience, always guided us to make the best decisions and to take into account many things we would never have anticipated without her expertise. As healthcare providers, my husband and I were very determined to ensure that we hosted an event where everyone's safety was our main concern. Pearson Convention Centre did an amazing job ensuring that Ministry guidelines were enforced. Staff were diligent in ensuring that all guests were double vaccinated and asymptomatic. Our guests were grouped into families and seated at tables that were spaced 6 feet apart, while being served their sit down dinners.. For the midnight sweet table, Pearson had enough staff present to make sure that everyone was served and that no one touched the same utensils. Sanitizer was accessible on every table and almost every corner of the hall and masks were also supplied. The food tasted amazing and the presentation was exceptional. We customized our menu with the chef to meet all of the varied dietary restrictions of our guests... and each meal even surpassed our already high expectations!
The signature drinks were presented beautifully and exactly as promised. I had so many of our guests call me after the event to inform me how beautifully done the event went and how great the cleanliness and staff were at Pearson.
I would highly recommend this venue to anyone wanting to plan an exquisite event, without any of the stress. I wish I could relive this event over and over.
Thank you again Silvana, Nishant and the Pearson Convention Centre, for helping this "2.5 year bride" to finally have her dream reception:)
With warmest regards always,
Ranita Singh Doobay

I should have rated this place earlier, we had our daughters quinceañera here and the service was wonderful. The food was fantastic and they accommodated special food requests for us. Also the head waiter was excellent, keeping everything on track and making sure all guests had what they needed. He checked in with me multiple times throughout the night to ensure things were going smoothly. a+ service. The decor in the hall is also very nice for pictures. The pricing was also very reasonable per person, we did our event on a Friday for a discount. Ask for Sergio or Fernando, you will not be disappointed!

Thank you to the entire team at Pearson Convention Centre. We originally had our wedding scheduled for 5/2020, but due to Covid, were finally able to have our event two weeks ago. Throughout the entire process, Sergio was so helpful in ensuring and providing a service unlike no other. The entire staff at Pearson is very warming and welcoming. During our event, the service provided was top notch. Ample servers, and our day-of manager, Sam was very helpful in making sure our vision came to life. Thank you to all of Pearson, there is a reason you guys are well-known in Canada, and we are proud to have been married at your venue!

Ah, where do I start. From the very beginning Fernando took us under his wing and made sure every last detail of our wedding was perfect and effortless. Everything turned out absolutely perfect and any hiccups we encountered with the vendors the day of, Fernando was right there to help them rectify it and make sure they didn't come to us to stress us out. It genuinely felt like working with family and we owe him everything for his efforts. We are customers for life, there is literally no reason to ever look at or consider another banquet hall. These guys were amazing, I really don't have the adequate words to describe how perfect it all was.

We rented 2 of the rooms here for the Premier Billiard League's pilot episode. The staff were all friendly and helpful with anything we needed.
The heated loading bays in the back of the building were large enough to pull a truck inside if necessary (with some items moved).
We really felt at home during the 5 days we used the venue for our project. 😊

Excellent location and the food is great. One issue, a server serving appetizers refused to serve guests a second appetizer if they had a previous selection and to say he was rude is putting it mildly. I would have given the place 5 stars but the one rude waiter lost the place the extra star.
Must add the other wait staff were great

This venue is only accommodating up until the point they get your deposit and have you sign a contract. After that they do not care to uphold basic customer service or ethics. Prior to your deposit they will respond right away and speak to you kindly and once they have your money they ignore you. Was originally misled and promised a larger space for my event, this later was changed to small hall with no capacity for my guest count, stage, or band. Spent hours trying to work towards a solution with owners and they were only interested in offering solutions where they could increase our cost per person further (they already increased our cost per person by $10 for a date change request, despite the fact we were changing our date from peak season to off season and the fact that the circumstances were a family emergency). The owners are intentionally uncooperative and will try to force you to spend more once they have your deposit because they know you are stuck. If you cancel they keep the $2000 and rebook full price with the next customer. Avoid at all costs, this situation caused us so much unnecessary stress and financial strain, it is really upsetting to see people do business like this. They are currently refusing to offer adequate space to accommodate my event and will not return my $2000. Went through both owners Sergio and Fernando for help and neither made an effort to help find us a reasonable solution.

The CAA Centre is a sports and entertainment complex that hosts various events, including basketball games featuring teams like the Brampton Honey Badgers and Mexico's Libertadores. The venue offers great seating options for an enjoyable experience. However, the food selection is limited, leading to long lines at times. The parking lot is spacious, and the overall size of the complex provides ample space for visitors.
A small rink with big potential. I was present for the women's hockey world's and it was a lot of fun. Popcorn was great. French vanilla was also good.
The sound system could use a bit of a boost as it isn't loud enough to create a great atmosphere. The seats are comfortable and there isn't a bad seat in the house because the rink is small. Would enjoy returning!

We went there for our cricket game. The place is easy to find, had enough parking spots. The only thing I noticed that there aren't enough trash bins and we had to find one which wasn't close to where we were. Also, at some points it will be hard to find the bathrooms. The ground that we used to play was good but the grass was not trimmed to our liking. Other than that it's a clean park well constructed playing fields.

During the Ganesh Utsav festivities, Canada Cha Raja stole the spotlight with its remarkable features. The centerpiece of the event was an impressive 16-foot-tall idol of Lord Ganesh, marking a significant milestone as the first of its kind in Canada. This towering murti captivated visitors and added a grandeur to the celebration that had never been seen before in the country.
Moreover, the venue offered a sprawling ground that served as the perfect setting for traditional Garba dances and various other cultural activities. Attendees reveled in the vibrant atmosphere as they danced to the rhythmic beats, fostering a sense of community and celebration.
In addition to the cultural festivities, Canada Cha Raja also featured an array of stalls offering delectable food options and unique shopping experiences.

I go weekly to watch my boys play hockey. The restaurant is open and service is always great. Two of the arenas allow you to view the game from the comfort of the restaurant. The third allows a view from just out side the restaurant but in a colder area. The fourth rink is their major rink and being in the cold stands is the option. Good thing the restaurant has coffee and tea to go.

Clean building decent ice but 3 of the rinks are open and sounds from each carry throughout the arena causing players to stop because of a whistle on another rink and makes hearing the coach an issue. All staff that workoutside of the bar are very friendly and work hard. If your pro mandate and believe that every human should wear a mask unless sitting down than the bar upstairs is the place for you. Staff that works in the bar will do whatever it takes to make sure you won't stay long.

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of attending a basketball game earlier this month. The two teams that played were the Brampton Honey Badgers versus Mexico's Libertadores. We had some great seats and had a fantastic time. The food at the CAA center is limited and there was a lineup that extended outside the doors while we were waiting to get our tickets scanned. The parking lot is huge and the venue itself is a decent size.

Decent sized cricket field, seating is pretty good and tixkets are value for money. The entry process is really tedious and needs to be revisited, we were in line for a good 30-40 minutes. The drinks are very reasonably priced for a spotting venue, beers at $6, water at $2

Great space and good service in the restaurant. Screens scroll way too fast for rink/dressing room assignments, no walls between the first 3 rinks means whistles are heard all the time stopping play on the wrong rink.
Heat is very good and seats are comfortable. Ice is excellent, very good rink techs there.

Brampton City Hall is a vibrant cultural hub with a public garden on its podium roof, offering a peaceful escape from the bustling politics below. The permanent theatre stage hosts live performances during numerous festivals, and the relocated Peace Garden on the west side of the square is worth exploring. Gave me thousands of dollars worth of parking tickets while I had a permit to park. Every city department I contacted would either say it's not their problem or there would only ever be an answering machine. Some of the city police steal from you in groups and harass visible minorities. You either pay them off or they say they'll charge and arrest you. Brampton transit makes it not possible to live without spending half your day waiting. Highly corrupt.

This is for people that want to have a civil marriage ceremony. Once you park your car in the underground parking lot, take the elevator to the "G" floor. Then keep walking straight until you see the city clerk's office signage. You can then sign in on the kiosks for your appointment. When I went there, there was already a couple getting married. Their attire was super casual, just normal jeans and shirts. I dressed up, so did my wife, and had a suit on along with the white dress. This is obviously not necessary but if you do, you can take some nice pictures. The couples that came after us were super casual. So don't be afraid to go with your style. Now the best part is the person that marries you. She was an absolute angel, so kind, so sweet, guides you through the whole process step by step. She even helps you take pictures. I can't be more thankful to this person because she made the whole experience stress free. Overall, this was super efficient, very professional, and I couldn't be happier. Well done Brampton City Hall, well done!

It is high time Canadian Politicians, Policy Makers and people who allow these social proceedings and gatherings know what they are doing.
City hall is a decorated place in Brampton, and then you see these ignorant people carrying their separatist movement here on a Sunday evening, with city police guarding and doing peacekeeping,
They are shouting long live Deep Sidhu (Feb 19th 2022), the Mayor of Brampton City, Patrick Brown is also there, lauding the dead man, who was disowned by the Farmers protesting in India and was declared a nuisance maker, a miscreant who tried to take the national flag of India off the Red Fort and almost took the whole movement for the rights and freedom of farmers down with his misdeeds.
He was hiding for days after that, and the Mayor is lauding him with people carrying a Khalistan Flag in their hands in public.
Ignorance written all over, dark side of Brampton politics.

Staying myself under your oppression and terrorizing actions has been an interesting challenge, but I don’t have the patience to let your cultural hatred change me into whatever you are, so enough is enough go get your kicks somewhere else, preferably not another Canadian, we like to keep good attitude and you're making that unnecessarily hard. I recently visited the Brampton Recreation Center and found it to be a great facility overall, but I have to deduct one star due to the cleanliness of the pool area.
The recreation center offers a wide range of amenities, including a well-equipped gym, spacious sports courts, and a variety of fitness classes. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the center maintains a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
However, I was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the pool. The water was fine, but the pool area could use more regular maintenance. It's an essential aspect of any recreation center, and I hope they can address this issue in the future.
Despite this drawback, the center's other features make it a worthwhile visit for fitness and recreational activities. I'd still recommend it, with the hope that they'll make improvements to the pool area in the near future.

Wet 'n' Wild is a water park which features a wide range of attractions, including a movie theatre and driving range. The park is family-friendly and offers different types of swimming pools for all age groups.
This water park is one of the best I’ve been to in terms of variety and rides. The lazy river isn’t the best, there are way much better ones up there. The slides are mostly great and not that scary for kids. The waves pool isn’t bad and is fun. Overall a nice place to be with lots of rides to experience, definitely worth every dollar spent, especially if you have kids. If you plan going more than once, consider getting the season pass.

My 1st time here and I honestly enjoyed myself. Lines were long for everything especially food. So be prepared to wait and also spend money on something to eat as you are not allowed to bring outside food and drinks. Lines for the slides are long but they are fun. I have been a season pass holder for several years even before it was called Water Kingdom. I had an extremely bad experience today and there was no resolution at all!!! I purchased my season pass last year in September as part of the FLASH sale. I checked with guest service to see what perks I have available and they confirmed I have bring a friend for free as one of my perks. Today I invited a friend with her daughter. We lined up at the ticket both for 20 min to be told we do not have free tickets for guests as part of our season pass. I tried to advise the lady at the counter that I do not just have the gold season pass I have FLASH sale perks too but she decided not listen and said if you wants your friend to go in need to purchase a ticket at full price $140 for 2. She was rude and refused to ask her supervisor. We came in and I went to see the guest service and ask for a supervisor (Melissa) who confirmed yes we do have the free tickets. She apologized and thats all. No refund on the $140. They should have refund our full ticket price and let us use the free ticket. No compensation at all for their mistake of an untrained employee. Also each station process different information on refillable bottles and I had to spend over 30 min going from one kiosk to an other as the employees are not trained nor updated on anything g regarding the changes from June to July. Employees make faces at you and treat you rudely when you asked them to apply the 10% discount that comes automatically with your season pass. After this year I am Not sure if I will re purchase the season pass for this place. I am happy to spend my money elsewhere where ppl are polite.

Over all was not a bad experience. They have nice slides but line ups are ridiculously long and they are not moving. I am not sure why? But it takes them forever to send someone down the slides. Very very slow. We got there at 11 in the morning we left at 3:30 and we only did 3 slides! That is how slow they are. Another thing I would like to add is food prices is ridiculously expensive. 2 cans of Pepsi and it cost us $22. And when we got to subway, we go 2 foot long and one 6” no drinks no combos and we paid $70!!! Like why? Why?? One small slush is $5 again why???
I do not think i will be going back again. Just too expensive for nothing.

The locker was easy to rent online and entry to the park was a breeze. There are a few different varieties of water slides, and some are suitable for families with young kids. There is also a separate junior play area for younger kids with its own pool and water slides. The lazy river is very basic, you can just relax on a tube and float with the flow of water. The wave pool is great and generates some big waves. Some rides had a very long line up and took a long time to get to the rides. Overall it's a great waterpark and worth visiting for a fun experience for the whole family.

Lots of fun for kids and adults. Weekends are always very busy, lines for slides get longer. I highly recommend taking a day off and come during the week. Also, if you are planning to come more than once, you definitely need to buy season passes. Season pass is just a few dollars more expensove than one time visit.

Kids dreamsland splash all day long. Lots of cute laughs and adults gets to relax and enjoy watching their precious angel 😇 and watch the beautiful smiles and laughter ❤️ I know I did with my own prince 🤴

first time coming here for this summer, went here 3 times last summer. I bought the splash pass as i don’t come here often. Felt like the parking fee ($20) was a bit overpriced, same with the food. There are many different slides for both kids and adults. I went on a rainy day so there was little people. I got to experience all the slides including Oh Canada (the drop slide), the cannonball and the carribean chaos. Staff were friendly and helpful with any questions that you might have. I accidentally cut my skin the other day and the lifeguard was super kind to give me a waterproof bandage. I would recommend changing in your car as the washroom is dirty and lighting is bad. There is a shower, lockers and many places for you to sit and relax or eat. Overall a good place to cool down during the summer, and i will definitely come every summer.

Bought season pass with free parking for the whole family ( Gold membership). No issues with the pass, awesome park don't understand all negative reviews. Yes, I agree food/ water prices are ridiculous. Other than pricey food, didn't have any issues, water park is nice and clean
The Big'r Apple Farm is a long-standing pick-your-own-produce establishment that offers a variety of fruits and vegetables. During the summer, visitors can pick strawberries while apples are available in the fall. It is an excellent destination for families to spend quality time together while enjoying the outdoors. In addition to apple picking, visitors have access to a vegetable farm where they can select their preferred fresh veggies.
Best ever farm especially for vegetables like Carrots , okra, bitter-guard, chillies, eggplant 🍆. Even coriander , squash and melons. Bit expensive. Apples are so amazing. Very tasty eggplant. Thank you Kang.

Time of visit: Sep 1st week. A small farm where you can pick apples. We got to pick some veggies too. Their honey was absolutely delicious.
Audlin Subinal Allen — Google review
Visited on a Saturday afternoon. Tried to check on website for available apple varieties but found it wasn't updated (or updated ever). Generally speaking, not a bad spot for strictly just picking apples, though don't expect any fun farm activities for kids or the apples to be of phenomenal quality.
Pros:
- Ample parking
- Lots of signage indicating where to go for apple or pepper picking
- Can visit in large families without steep entrance fees
Cons:
- Hidden entrance (not easy to find or see from Google Street View)
- Limited to $25 for 20 lbs (can't pick less!)
- Cash only
- Produce not of the greatest quality (sour, unripe apples)
- Parking lot at the back end of property rather than the entrance, so visitors would need to walk back to the front where the apple orchards are
- No tractor rides to assist with heavy purchases
- Teensy produce

Update!
Sept 2023 - Visited early September, they have red gala, red delicious, golden delicious and mcintosh. They also had pears but they didn’t seem ripe to me, not very sweet. Price has gone up to $25 for a bag. I think mid Sept is better.
Oct 2022 - Revisited early October but I think I prefer September weather more. It now costs $22.50 a person for a bag and entry. Please remember to bring cash.
Sept 2021 - Enjoyed my visit over the long weekend. Went for apple picking. No need to book a visit, free entry, and $20 for 20 lbs.

The Big'r Apple farm is an ok place to explore if you are planning for vegetables and apple plucking for the first time. They have got a huge area divided into two parts, one for vegetable and the other dedicated only for apple plucking. The price is pretty reasonable and you will be able to find a lot of stuff if you plan your visit a little early.
You can have good family time at this place. The only thing that's pretty uncertain about this place is the availability of the vegetables and apples and the apple section is pretty scattered so by the time you reach to explore and pluck all the desired apples most of them might have been stocked out or you'll find them lying below. I'll recommend if you are going for the 1st time, you can check this place out, get to know the drill and then try looking for other places for apple plucking.

The Historic Bovaird House is a Georgian-style farmhouse from the 1850s that houses exhibits and offers tours showcasing the lives of early settlers and farmers in Brampton. Visitors can learn about the day-to-day activities of families who lived in the house generations ago, including cooking and bathing practices. The museum also features a shop selling locally made crafts. It is an excellent educational destination for children to experience the luxury of old times and gain insight into Canadian history.
We went to the Bovaird House Sunday, December 3rd, Victorian Christmas Open House. We enjoyed a lovely tea and treats and then took in the various items for sale which were creative, inexpensive and lovely. The House is beautiful and the various artifacts dating back to 1852 were a wonderful step back in time. Volunteers were friendly and very helpful I would suggest this to anyone as a fun activity in December where there aren't crowds and you have time to sit and talk by the fireplace. Enjoy

My first time coming here with family on Mother’s Day and had a wonderful time. I had the cinnamon apple tea and wonderful plate of treats followed: chocolate dipped strawberry, gingerbread cookie, sugar cookie, lemon loaf, fruit cake and a muffin with strawberry jam and whipped cream on the side. If you haven’t tried definitely recommend.

Amazing little house full of our Canadian history and stories about the early settlers and farmers who built Brampton from the ground up. Our guides were very knowledgeable and loved when visitors would ask questions about the day to day lives of the families that lived in this house many generations ago. Thank you to the volunteers, donors, and community Champions who work tirelessly to keep this little piece of history alive for generations to come.

This is a good place to spend an hour when you are in Brampton. You can explore the rooms in the farmhouse both upstairs and downstairs. There are some interesting artifacts such as a fireplace screen and wax candle makers. Our guide was knowledgeable and helpful. There is free parking and a small shop with crafts. Admission is free but there is a box for donations.

Very nice tour and the authentic furniture and period pieces were exciting. I was surprised that this is located so close to home. The lig cabin on-site was fascinating because it was dismantled and reassembled on site. The Edwardian home reminded me of my grandmother's big kitchen. We are going back. Don't miss the gift shop.

We turned up on the last day of our vacation to find it was closed. There were two volunteers working the garden and they kindly agreed to show us around. The house is beautifully restored and well worth seeing. We are so grateful for the kindness shown, pretty much indicative of our experience with all the Canadians we have met. Nothing is too much of an effort to make a welcome. Sincerest best wishes to all the volunteers for continued success in keeping this little corner of Brampton in the 19th century

Had my son's birthday party here last night... and it was AMAZING. We were a large party with people of all ages. The party hall is large enough to accommodate adults and the kids area is more than big enough to keep the kids occupied for hours. The kids especially had a great time. The service was amazing before and during the party. The owner was really accommodating with all the questions i had as well as suggesting vendors. The staff was extremely helpful during the party. My kid had a blast! Thank u so much again!

I threw my daughter's 7th birthday party here and it was a horrible experience. The place was filthy. Wrappers, socks and food was all in the playground before we got there, the bathroom was filthy and many of the chairs were stained. To make matters worse, my daughter and her friends found a dead bird inside!!! When I called to complain, the manager I spoke with was extremely defensive and rude. Do not book your events here!

Love that my daughter gets to use her imagination plus play physically all in one space for a great low price.
The BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, situated in Etobicoke, is an impressive Hindu temple that was constructed in the early 2000s and officially opened its doors in 2007. As the largest mandir in Canada, it showcases remarkable materials sourced from various parts of the world, such as Indian stone, Turkish limestone, and Italian marble.
BAPS Shri Swaminarayan is a very beautiful temple, majestic and gorgeous. The marble carvings of the sanctum sanatorium are so beautifully blissful and divine. It's a must-visit. Very good management and organization. The museum is also very nice. It has an entry fee of 5 dollars for adults and 3 dollars for children. The souvenir and gift shop is well stocked and nice. Very peaceful place to be in even for just awhile.. especially for non Hindu people who doesn’t have a clue..(like me!)
Most of the history of this place, one will find on YouTube since it’s very difficult to explain in my simple language. I know for sure that the materials they used to build this Holy Temple were from Italy and some were carved in India. All were of high quality granite and the other parts/building are all meticulously carved fine woods. Oh, just so mesmerizing to look at. The Founder (in my mind) looked like a Holy man and also they have a statue of their Saint in the middle of the adjoining buildings. I took a picture even though I am almost aware of no picture inside the temple, but since the Saints statue was outside the temple, I hurriedly snapped one. Hope you guys like it too, I do! At a certain hour of the day, there was a service, first in my life to witness one so very solemn service.. I think it touched my heart and calmed my whole being almost close to shedding tears while listening and witnessing this awesome service..
Anyways, ample parking is available and the temple is also accessible by public transportation. Come and enjoy and give your mind and heart some source of breathing calmly and respectfully.
PEACE!
