The Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden is a picturesque outdoor space that seamlessly blends Canadian and Japanese landscaping styles, featuring water elements, forests, and meadows. Located adjacent to Henderson Lake Park in Lethbridge, this garden was designed by an architect hailing from Osaka and built by artisans from Kyoto as a symbol of the enduring friendship between Japan and Canada. Visitors can enjoy strolling through the serene surroundings or partake in cultural events such as tea ceremonies, Sumo Sumo Sundays or yoga classes.
I have to say this is most amazing garden Ive seen in Canada. it very well represent Japanese garden design cues. The little streams and the little temple, plus some bonsai. really is very relaxing while walking through the garden. The pavilion will held different event by weekdays and weekends. our today Monday is showing the Japan martial arts. We so pleasing can find here and it all worth the price. 5 star recommend

What a wonderful afternoon we spent meandering through the Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden. No rush! We took it slow in a zen like fashion. The beautiful scenery enticing us to sit and relax. Listening to the water falling and making it's way through the garden. With our entrance fee we received a choice of strawberry or mocha cookie with mocha iced tea or orange juice. Very yummy!
If you stop in Lethbridge, definitely go check this out!! On the way put we checked the gift store! Lots to see and buy 🙂

Visited Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden recently, it’s an awesome place! So calm and pretty, decorated with colourful lights. Staff is super nice and the garden looks great. Must visit for a chill time.

Very peaceful and beautiful walk, very reasonably priced. I look forward to their new building being completed and going back to check that out!!
Advertised guided tours and were short staffed the day we went so no guided tours, that's the only reason they lost a star.
There was a wedding there the day we went and that was pretty cool to see all set up, it was mostly unintrusive to our experience and they were also respectful. To the newly weds Congrats!

Zen garden. Staff is super friendly and garden is well maintained. A good 2 hour drive from Calgary. Best time to visit is from 1st week of June to Mid August. Also has water park and a lake adjacent to it. Only takes an hour to get complete tour. Tea ceremony is performed on Sundays (though not sure).

Nice enough gardens, but veri lacking in colors. For the admission cost, we were disappointed. If it weren't for the small drumming show we would have been gone in less than 30 minutes. And the rules are a little ridiculous. Don't walk on the grass and rocks. YOU MUST STAY ON THE PATHS . They need to improve the scenery a little.

A good place to visit a light show with family and friends as a relaxed night out. Don't expect big and fancy things. They do provide complimentary drinks and cookies :)

Such an amazing garden. We walked out of there feeling relaxed, serene, calm and mellow. The tea ceremony was a delight to watch with lots of interesting history. This garden was designed beautifully and worth the small admission fee.
This is not a botanical garden tho. The trees, landscape and water features are gorgeous and just to sit and listen and go through the garden slowly and experience the hide and reveal aspects is fun.

The gardens were beautiful!
I took more videos then pictures and am unable to upload them.
Everything was very well maintained. The trees and bushes were well groomed and soo cute!
Make sure you stay on the path and don't pick up the rocks.
The staff was very friendly.
Would love to come back in different seasons of the year to see the leaves change to fall colors.

The perfect place for a staff Christmas party and then grab a hot chocolate to go see the lights. The drummers were excellent too! Fun to ring the bell. There needs to be a bench or two where people can stop and rest as people in our group had mobility issues but still loved the walk.

Quick and easy to check out, wouldn't take more than an hour, but you will never want to leave the place. Its beautiful, calm and refreshing. Well maintained and worth a visit. Tickets are cheaper after 5 pm and please note that the tickets are sold in the visitor center located outside the garden. There is a bell which you can ring. The staff are really friendly. Rest rooms are located in the tea house.

I had a great visit early in the morning when there was only staff there. I would highly recommend visiting at an off-peak time. The garden is small but peaceful and very green. It would not be the same experience if busy. Despite a miscommunication in ticket prices by the ticket staff, I had a good visit and would come again. The operations manager was friendly and helped clear up the issues by email. Do ring the bell, it is surprisingly easy to do so and create a loud sound. Very fun.

This place is must do when in Lethbridge. Especially for the winter festival of lights display. The Cafe and restaurant are very clean and bright. The washroom has to be one of the cleanest in the city.
Lots of parking and it's free.

Always a delight to visit the gardens. This year we took part in a Sake Tasting (highly recommend) and enjoyed the festival of lights. There's a great gift shop on site.

We enjoyed the serenity of the gardens as they were meant to be serene. The walk along the paths and the trees were very relaxing. We went through the building on site and a young lady Noreve took the time to help us make origami birds. She also explained to us that if you make one thousand of the birds you get good luck and happiness. While we were there we got to write down a wish on a piece of paper and it was tied to a tree. We are planning another visit but either in the spring when the trees are blooming or the fall when the trees change their colours. Otherwise an enjoyable visit.

If you are looking for a tranquil little space in the city, then go on down the the Japanese Gardens. It is small but beautiful. Well maintained and worth a visit. Relax on a bench or join the yoga groups that are there. Looking forward to the winter light display I was told all about!

Was here with friends and it was great experience, it's a place to fish, picnic, enjoy nature, have fun, do kayaking/boat ride (come with your own, like bring your own device kinda, lol), (you are not allowed to swin though, still don't know why), and a large playground for kids as well. Walked round the lake park couple of times... It's absolutely 💯 👌

Indian Battle Park is a public outdoor area situated on the riverbed, boasting scenic walking trails and picnic spots with fire rings. It also houses the renowned Fort Whoop Up Interpretive Centre and an observatory where visitors can learn about local wildlife. Additionally, there is a garden on the roof that offers a panoramic view of the river. The park provides clean restrooms for public use, making it an ideal destination to spend quality time with family while enjoying fresh air outdoors.
This is a great park for all of your outdoor activities. Lots of paths with shade if you're looking at going for a run or a bikeride. Most of the area from what I seen is on leash for your dog unfortunately. They also offer wagon rides on the weekend by the interpretive center. Lots of nice views by the river which is also great to float down.

This visit to Lethbridge we made time for a fairly quick drive around the park. So much to see. I saw playground areas; and there is the fort and a nature house to visit next as well as many different kinds of trails to use. We had walked by the train trestle before, but from the west side. Look forward to spending a day next visit when it's not winter. There is ample parking in different areas.

Be prepared to be amazed ! We dropped here unknowingly, looking for bike paths that were family friendly. Ended up spending a lovely afternoon , skipping rocks at the river, taking photos under the famous bridge, and we even saw three deer gracefully passing by. What a lovely experience ! Public washrooms are available and tidy up. Picnic tables were in good condition, including fire rings .

The Fort Whoop-Up is a cultural museum that narrates the story of a buffalo-robe trading post established in the 19th century on beautiful coulees. It replicates an original fur trading fort named Fort Hamilton, which served as a hub for various trading activities, including illegal whiskey trade. Apart from imparting knowledge about local history, this tourist attraction offers visitors an opportunity to experience and explore diverse cultures.
I had a wonderful experience here. The wagon ride was the highlight of my trip. It is well worth the price of admission. The fort itself is quite authentic and there are many rooms to walk through that are filled with historic items. Lots of walking trails in the nearby park.

A simple tour with a few interesting points. I felt like the tour missed a great opportunity to emphasize the need for reconciliation as it was a huge part of the abuse First Nations Peoples suffered at the hands of American whisky and wolf traders. Very little seemed unique though the Fort was concerning enough to warrant the march of the NWMP and yet further advise of first peoples

Took the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) experience tour with a group today, and I cannot begin to express how incredible this experience is. It was wonderful to hear the history of the Fort and Indian Battle park from Blackfoot perspective. Harris, Blanche, and Julius did a beautiful job of sharing stories and guiding really interesting discussion throughout the day. I learned so much, and had so much fun. I could listen to them talk forever, they are all so knowledgeable and generous with the information they shared. I would love to see more tours in Southern Alberta being offered the way they’ve set up this tour; exemplary work from this whole team.
Highly recommend ordering the lunch options too. A picnic (Hickory Street or Charcuterie boxes) on site makes the whole experience even more fun, and the food was great! Huge thanks to Connor and the whole team for working out all the logistics so we could take part in such a fun and memorable afternoon.

Very cool. Hadn’t been here since I was a kid and I took my kids today. It was great. The staff were fantastic. There was a fire and s’mores, hot chocolate and cider, cookie making, Christmas craft making, Clydesdale wagon rides which were amazing. The highlight for me was being able to speak with Blanche Bruised Head in the Blackfoot information section. She is a wealth of knowledge, is fascinating and very nice to speak with! I learned a great deal. Fun for the whole family!

What a great experience and look back at history. Our wagon ride with 2 Clydesdale horses was the highlight with Cathy our tour guide. Great to go with kids, activities like writing with a quill pen, candle dipping and fresh made Bannock. A big park surrounds the fort so you could easily pack a lunch, there is also a playground nearby.

Wonderful way to spend an afternoon or evening with family in Lethbridge. We went on a Thursday and there was a trader tales program going on. It’s educational and informative and interactive experience for children.
There was a campfire and sharing of stories over bannock and jam.
Also the ice cream is delicious. They give liberal amounts of it! 🍦

Just like Fort Edmonton park if you have been in Edmonton. People were there. There is a gift shop, a museum, lots of small areas to see, find, do things, old artillery, kitchen utensils. Tipi in the centre, they were serving hot choclate, bannock and a firepit was there.

We learnt so much and had an amazing day. Would definitely recommend this historic and wonderful place.
The Galt Museum & Archives is a Southern Alberta museum located in a former hospital from 1910. It offers interactive exhibits on the local history of Lethbridge, as well as over 17,000 artifacts and more than 1 million archival documents and photographs. Visitors can also explore walking trails and two gardens featuring native plants such as wildflowers, grasses, and woody plants. The museum is the largest in the area and provides stunning views of the city.
I visited this place first time for Diwali Celebration program. I must say I’m totally impressed and enjoyed a lot. The place was very clean and spacious. The people are very polite and helpful. We really enjoyed the performance. The location of this museum is amazing, ample of parking available for visitors. I will definitely visit again to explore the historic side of the city. We had an afternoon visit here. We visited here after going to Fort Whoopup where we received a 50% off our admission to the Galt. The discount really makes the visit worthwhile.
Rob was manning the kiosk and it was a most friendly and professional experience.
If you only do the gallery, then it will take about an hour to read all the placards and take pictures.
You get greeted by a mounted bison upon entering with a most interesting diaroma of southern Alberta.
It was interesting finding out about the purple plane and Uncle Ben's Sick Brewery.
Lastly, the gift shop was one of the better that we've visited in the Lethbridge area.
Thanks again Rob for your assistance.

Really cool museum with lots on display! A gem in Lethbridge.
My wife and I attended the evening performance on December 18.....it was outstanding! It was such a pleasure to attend an actual "live" event after almost 2 years of Covid restrictions. We have attended numerous New West Productions over the years and never been disappointed.....Ode to Joy was no exception....it was amazing!! We laughed, we sang along (even while wearing a mask 🤣) and hated to see the show come to an end. The entire cast and members of New West Theatre are a super talented group of musicians, dancers and singers! We are truly blessed to have such amazing performers right here in our own backyard! BRAVO and THANK YOU!!

The Legend of Rock & Country was superb!! What a talented cast: fabulous singers with incredible voices, multi-talented musicians, hilarious comedians - something for everyone. Some great pieces in this overall preformance…bit of a slow beginning, especially because the first song was unfamiliar and didn’t ‘pull us in’….Sweet dreams was the first really dynamic piece, stunning the audience with it’s sound and choreography! So many delightful and engaging songs! The bib overall skit was hilarious! Great timing and content. I sure would recommend this show! Wish there had of been two this summer and sad our Christmas tradition of highlights is not offered this year..

Phenomenal musical theatre performance! Thoroughly enjoyed. Great adaptation for the stage from the movie.
Just a couple of suggestions to make it more kid/family friendly. Maybe instead of using the expressions "Oh my God!" several times you could perhaps change it to "Oh my gosh!" Just a few instances of those types of things and maybe just keep in mind the audience you have.

Often stop here for supper. Great specials daily. Service is always top notch. And if u like liver this is the place. Ordered the liver, bacon, onions. Two piece and was stuffed. It comes with mashed potatoes but this time ordered the fries. Bad idea next time mashed potatoes. The fries were terrible and this happened before. Maybe frying them and re frying. Not sure but won’t order them again. Also we ordered a hot hamburger sandwich. That was fresh ground beef on Texas bread. Tasty gravey on top. Disappointed in their choice of vegetables. 🥦 cauliflower. With all the corn and peas and carrots grown around southern Alberta maybe that might be a better offering. Back to liver. Cooked just right tender and thin slices. Bacon and onions were cooked to perfection. Waiter was ok. Kinda forgot about us. But they were busy also. Always clean and the tables cleaned off fast for people waiting. Check out the pictures of the liver meal. Their prices are very reasonable and not drive in quality. Will be back that’s for sure!

Very sad how the restaurant has gone down hill. Went with friends last weekend, 1 ordered turkey dinner special. You now get 3 pieces of processed turkey slices, no more freshly cooked turkey. Baja Bowl is also very low quality & meals looked thrown together. Beef dip was full of gristle & fat. Caesar salad was slimmy & soggy. Been going to the restaurant for years & very disappointed lately. Prices have increased but quantity has dropped drastically.

I’m really sad about this. I wanted so badly to leave a 5 star but we ordered prime rib medium rare was served to us well done and grey. Sent it back because that’s just nasty lol. (It’s also a super thin cut almost like a slice of roast beef)
Switched it for the NY steak it was better but not great…. The chef still over cooked it. And it was super inconsistent (some bites ok and others well done) one side was cooked more than the other. I didn’t want to sound like a complainer and send it back again so I just ate it and said thank you. We were both really disappointed.
It was our date night and was really looking forward to a bloody (actual bleeding lol) steak. The only reason I’m leaving a 3 star is because the waitresses were so nice and had excellent service. But the chef really over cooks the meat. Hope the chef improves next time because I really wanted to leave a super positive review.
The live music was great and bartenders were also wonderful. Wish I could give a 5 star. Maybe next time if the food improves.

I have to admit it’s been more than 2 yrs since we stopped there due to pandemic, but my wife, daughter, son in law ,myself went here bout 7 pm for supper. My son in law ordered chicken stir fry with fine noodles. He got his order but No chicken. I ordered a beef dip w/ fries, my daughter ordered 2 parmesan deep fried curds, they came later, & chicken wings for my wife. The deep fried curds came at 2 different times, son in law got his chicken fried stir fry. Then came wife’s wings, which she couldn’t eat cause not fully cooked & my beef dip was tasty w/ gravy & beef dip sauce however it was roast beef loaded w/ grisliest beef ever. We were not impressed. Pity it’s gone so downhill. I never finished my meal & my wife never finished hers. The prices were still reasonable but quality suffered. You don’t eat eat uncooked chicken. We hope we can attend this great restaurant & casino again & find no deficiencies. Photo doesn’t show raw bones w/ckn wings. However, hopefully a large improvement due. It will be a while before we try it again sadly.

The Helen Schuler Nature Centre is a contemporary building situated in a nature preserve that offers interactive exhibits and children's programs. It serves as an engaging community hub that promotes the integration of nature into people's lives, fulfilling the aspirations of its founders. Despite the closure of the visitor centre due to COVID-19, they have still managed to impress visitors by offering youth programs such as finding marked bird eggs on a colourful sheet.
The Helen Schuler Nature Centre what a great place. This place is great for kids to explore and learn new stuff about plants and animals. Don showed us around and took the time to talk about all the different type of activities was great. This place has very clean washroom facilities and fun facts on the walls. There are two water fountains and you can also refill your water flasks. I enjoyed checking out the art work that must of taking a lot of hours to create out of paper. Photos don't do it justice.
This place is must see and it's basically Free. Thanks again Don for giving my wife and I a tour through Nature!

This was an interesting place to visit.
KAITLYN, JOCELYN and the nice volunteer, DAVID, made our visit extra special with all their help and information of the area.
KAITLYN was so kind to look things up. She was absolutely full of ideas with all her experience of the area.
Thank you KAITLYN, we appreciated your help.
There was a movie one could watch; things for the kids to do; and they even had a living roof with a homemade game available.
Not too far away was another building which used to be the coal mine.
This building was so interesting with all it's information and with machinery from way back when it all started in the 1800s.

An engaging community hub. They have a program for youth this spring - finding birds’ eggs they have marked on a colourful sheet.
Considering the visitor centre is closed due to COVID-19, I found this especially impressive. The views of the Bridge from here are stunning.
Lovely outdoor auditorium/stage/seating area for performances during regular seasons. I hope to return when able!

What a wonderful place. The Helen Schuler Nature Centre and the Elizabeth Hall wetland do an excellent job furthering the dreams of these grand ladies. Their biggest aspiration was to bring nature into the lives of as many people as possible. Well done!

The big bird little bird program at the nature centre has been amazing for my almost 3 year old. Ruth has helped him come out of his shell and taught him so many different things! She takes the time to engage with each child and takes the opportunity to connect with them. For the last year that we have attended, no lesson has been repeated twice and with each one we learn something new and exciting. So much thought and attention to detail goes into each week, and I appreciate this opportunity for learning my little boy has. As my other children grow older, I can’t wait for them to have this same experience!!

This is a 4 star if you have kids. The centre seemed fairly light on the actual amounts of exhibits and lots of what they have is video, not readable things. But this appealed to the kids and they did have a few activity centres. The living roof was neat. It looked like there are a lot of trails in the area which could be nice to explore. And when we were there, a bunch of parents arrived to pick their kids up, presumably from a summer camp of some sort. The price is by donation so in that respect, it's a very good place to check out. That said, I don't think I'd come back.

Nice park in the river bottom with walking trails through the trees and alongside the river. Public bathrooms and small playground for kids. There is also a fenced off area that you can rent for functions that has a place for cooking with a large play area.

Love it! Feels different than most parks, it feels like you're actually in the wild sometimes. Lots of other families were there with kids. Only complaint is that the very nice playground apparently has to be booked or rented to be used, so there is no playground to my knowledge at this park. But Legacy is just down the road. 🙂👍🏼

Absolutely awesome place to go for a good hike or horseback riding. The trails are fantastic, the views stunning, and the wildlife plentiful. There's plenty of nice, easy goin trails, and also plenty of difficult ones. The trails are very well maintained, but if you feel like gettin off the beaten path there are plenty of side trails and deer trails you can take. There are also numerous trails that lead to the top of the coulee, where you get absolutely gorgeous views. There is an abundance of wildlife. Lots of different birds, deer, rodents, and more. Definitely an awesome place to go, and certainly one of the best parks in southern Alberta.

Beautiful place to go to experience nature at it's best.
A natural wildlife preserve along the river in the coulees.
There are turtles, geese and many different birds, even some deer, along with some unique plants.
While we were there, the train went over us on the High Level Bridge.
People were even swimming in the river.
So calm and beautiful.
A good place to go to reconnect.

The signage into this place is horrific. The trail signs also don't exist so I don't know where I was going or what I was seeing. They need to add a map sign at the parking lot as you enter.
Also disappointed I didn't see turtles.
Great view of the viaduct though.

Lovely spot to walk or trail run. In the summer there are turtles that sit on the logs in the pond. I'm giving a warning though. Beware thieves who watch the cars in the parking lot. They smashed our window on our van and stole a purse.

The Elizabeth Hall Wetlands is a convenient location to get away from the city above the river valley. There is a parking on the South side of Highway 3, near the Par 3 golf course.
The park has a red shall path that circles an oxbow lake that was created when a berm was constructed along the East edge of the park. There is a paved portion of the path leading from the parking lot to the North end of the lake.
There is a bird blind at the end of a short trail in the SE corner of the lake. As well, there is a floating dock on the NE edge of the lake, a short distance form the parking lot.
A variety of birds and animals can be seen. Interpretive signs along the trail help with identification and trivia.
The path around the lake is about 1.6 km (1 mile) around. For those who want to travel further, a trail continues South under the High Level bridge into Bull Trail Park.
Note: There are no washrooms or facilities at this park. Since this is a nature reserve, no dogs or bikes are permitted.

Lovely at all themes of the year! Lots of wilderness and wildlife to see (bald eagle and beaver today!). Don’t bring your dogs, as they are not permitted in the nature reserve, and bikes only on the paved/shale pathways to protect the area and wildlife.
Came here for a cirque de soleil event. Purchasing tickets was easy, lots of free parking, showing tickets and entering was very quick. I went to a Lethbridge Hurricanes game with my friend Dahmer and Greg. I’d like to say that I’m now the proud owner of a Lethbridge Hurricanes jersey. It was $160.00. Felt it wasn’t too expensive but fair. Very great material. Some would say boyfriend material. Anywho, my friend Dahmer and I bought 50/50 tickets. I’m really hoping I come home with a winning ticket. They just announced them as I’m making this review. I wasn’t even close, wouldn’t recommend buying. It’s not 50/50 like they advertise because my friend dahmer also bought tickets. So with us having both bought having a 50% chance of winning. Both buying 20 tickets each. We should have hypothetically won 10 times each. How are you going to explain that Lethbridge? Hopefully they can get 1 more goal so I can get free Arby’s. (If you want to know how I feel about Arby’s you can check out one of those reviews).

The staff was polite was a little crowded. They could make the Seating a little bit more roomy. Prices were around when I expected for that kind of an event. My grandson had a blast, in the end that's all that matters.

My boyfriend and I went to watch a Hurricanes game and enjoyed it a lot! The only issue we had was with parking because it requires a tapping Visa Debit, credit card or coins and we didn't have any of those but we figured it out. There is security to get in and they recommend a small clear bag, very lowkey and not stressful compared to Rogers Place, the Saddledome, etc. I had a pretzel which was a little cold but still good and i thought the costs were marked up but still somewhat reasonable. Booking tickets online was very easy and inexpensive for how close we were to the boards.
Sarah Bowman — Google review
All in all, the facility itself is quite nice, and there really aren't any "bad" seats. With that being said there's a couple issues I think need to be addressed.
First, the online ticket booking system is a mess. It took me nearly an hour to book tickets online for PBR. I checked that it was not my internet connection and tried doing it both on my laptop and on my cell phone. I wouldn't even try on a cell phone again as the seat booking part is glitchy and doesn't really work. On a computer, it was incredibly slow and kept crashing. I tried again another day to see if it was a one off event and experienced the same issues.
Second, I found out at PBR that The Enmax is now a "non-smoking facility." Honestly, when you're an event space that hosts hockey games, rodeos, and music concerts this seems like a really dumb idea. People are drinking and thus, a good portion of the ticket holders are going to want to go for smoke breaks. At an event space where liquor is being served, it is ridiculous to not allow people to smoke. It isn't hard to set up a smoking area with ashtrays and and some security to ensure there aren't people or items making their way into the event that shouldn't be.
Furthermore, the policy is not working in the slightest. While I was at PBR people were vaping throughout the entire facility and smoking cigarettes and doing drugs in the washrooms. You could smell the cigarette smoke wafting from the washrooms throughout the facility and there was ash everywhere in the washroom stalls. There were also groups of people going into the stalls together and were obviously snorting drugs. Needless to say, this policy is backfiring and actually making it worse for the non-smokers in the audience. Bring back the smoking section so people can enjoy their time, the washrooms aren't overrun, and we can keep the smoking and drug use OUTSIDE of the facility. If I had a child with me, I would not of felt good about bringing them into the washrooms during the event. It was a total gongshow.

Ate dinner before the Hurricanes came and was a little disappointed. Two orders or the steak sandwich one one piece of meat was significantly smaller than the other. Steak was over cooked and 3 times too much dressing on the salad. Charged more for items then what the menu listed. Tired of being gauged at this arena. Will eat before we go from now on.

I've had the pleasure of visiting a couple times now. The staff are very knowledgeable on the composition and tastes of their beer.
As I prefer to drink liquor, I don't have much of a taste for beer. The staff asked me what I've tried and like the past and paired me up with a similar beer that I might like. I do enjoy the beer they've selected.

Fun place to try different local beers. This was my first time so I opted to get a beer flight. I wasn’t sure which beers to try so I asked the friendly server and since I liked all styles of beers I let her pick for me. I ended up with a Matcha Pale Ale, Octoberfest Altbier, Bucket Chem and Sa #2 IPA. The Matcha and Octoberfest were my favourites and ended up getting a pint of the Matcha to go with my pizza from Vesano which is also in the brewery. The beer flight was served in fun and unique test tubes.

I arrived in Lethbridge late afternoon. It was hot and I needed a gift for a friend I would be seeing on the way home. I googled “local breweries” and luckily found Theoretically. Located in an industrial-looking area, this place is an absolute gem. When I went to their website I noticed their inclusive messaging. This was the hook. I made my way over with my grandkid in tow. The person who helped me was amazing. She helped me pick out 6 choices for my friend. Then she helped me pick out a flight for me. She even made a non-alcoholic, non-bubbly beverage for the grandkid. She was very kind. As I was finishing my flight, the grandkid was getting antsy, so the person who helped me previously erased the chalk board and gave him some chalk to draw. It bought me some time to finish up. I asked and she is the owner. What a lovely human!
The setting is comfy and the owner seems to know everyone who comes in. The space we were sitting in was at the front, but there is a tap room where you can order pizza. They also have an airy, comfy, colourful outdoor space perfect for just hanging out on a hot day.
But what about the beer? Freakin delightful! I often stay away from IPAs (I know this is controversial), as some are not balanced. Not here! My favourite ended up being a darker IPA. Deliciousness!
Honestly, if you do one thing when in Lethbridge, it should be this.
You need to go to here.

Super cool place. Cool vibe, yummy pizza, super nice staff who actually care about what they do, what they serve and their customers. Bravo to all of that - Lethbridge needs to expand on this notion of non - franchised, unique restaurants and pubs. The owner was super friendly, and I’m stoked that doggies are allowed. Perhaps we will bring our guy by one day for a (complimentary) dog treat. And perhaps my husband’s awesome blues band can play…😁

Was super excited to try this brewery and the space since I had heard they have a craft session during the week. Went there tonight with my husband and two friends who were new to Lethbridge, and wanted to see the area. Had a great time, enjoyed our beers (and the really cool glasses they serve in) until we went to leave. As we went to walk through the front room, a small group talking with the server/bartender stopped talking mid-conversation. We said "Thank you, have a good night" to the server/bar tender and went to walk out the vestibule, and as we did the group/the server proceeded to make a comment about "tourism in Lethbridge" and laugh at us. For a place that bills itself as super inclusive, I honestly felt like I was somehow a piece of garbage compared to the other folks sitting there. Won't be coming back here or ever recommending it to anyone else.

I visited SAAG, for the first time, just over a week ago. I was not sure what to expect. What I did find was a very friendly and welcoming young man, Bariyaa, who was knowledgeable, gave a lot of insight into my experience, and shared some very interesting things he learned about the Artist, as he assisted the Artist with set-up. All in all, a pleasingly visual, and thought provoking. It would be 5 stars, but I did notice that there was plenty of bare wall space, which I felt, as an Artist myself, could have been utilized. I know that there are many talented Artists both in Lethbridge, and throughout the Province, that would love the opportunity. Thank you again, SAAG, for offering such a stimulating space, and to you Bariyaa, for providing and even more enlightening experience!!!! CHEERS!! 🙂
This is one if the best places to get pictures of Lethbridges famous high level bridge. Great place to start your walk into the river bottom from the top. Train's go by all the time during the day if you like trains also then this is your spot to get very close up beautiful pictures. Lots of different angels to get the best picture you can. Popson Park is an undeveloped recreational area located in the southern part of the town. It boasts fishing and hiking trails that wind through undulating terrain, providing visitors with a scenic experience. The park also features off-leash areas where dogs can swim in the river, and young children can climb on a massive tree. As an added bonus, there are great spots by the river with coulees in the background that make for beautiful photo opportunities.
An amazing off leash dog parked tucked into the south western tip of Lethbridge. I've visited the north side dog park hundreds of times and decided to branch out last week. Was worth it!
You and your dog(s) can access the Old Man River with ease. Walking trails are gravel. There is one very large loop you can walk, and a few paths leading off of it. There is also a whole bunch of undeveloped trails that run alongside the river and lead back up towards the gravel paths/old camping area.
Park is tucked away from any residential or commercial areas - so along with a nice secluded nature feel, it's safe for off leash dogs as well.
There is also a now defunct campground (about 10 campsites) tucked in the corner of the park, along with a day use area with a cement pad, roof and picnic tables (think shelter). It appears as if the bathrooms are permanently closed (I was here at the beginning of June and figured they would be open now if they open them at all)
The campsites have fire pits which I assume you can still use during the day as there's no singage stating otherwise. This is similiar to the River Bottom day use area where there are fire pits available for day use. The picnic shelter also has a large covered fire pit (see photos)

It just takes one bad apple. Dog got attacked by a woman's Australian Shepard and she blamed me for it. My dog was on a leash and I had to pick my dog up to break up the fight while she did nothing but smiled and tried to push the blame. Again. My dog was on a leash. If you see a lady with a collie and an Australian Shepard go somewhere else. I will not be coming back here.

Beautiful riverside off leash dog park right on the edge of town on the west side. My dog loves tromping through the water and playing with other dogs. Watch out for rattlesnakes when it’s warm out!
The outdoor patio at Broxburn Vegetables & Cafe is charming and delightful, making it an ideal spot to savor delicious coffee and indulge in mouthwatering pie alongside your loved ones. The restroom facilities are immaculate, the breakfast options are delectable, the prices are reasonable, and the staff members are amiable. If you arrive just before lunchtime, around 10:45, you can expect prompt service.
This place is a local treasure. What's not to like about delicious food, fresh produce, great service, and a beautiful location. Broxburn is only 5 minutes East of Lethbridge. The menu is small but everything is fresh and so tasty. I had the caprese piandina which was incredible! Wow the balsamic vinegar with the garlic aioli and mozzarella and prosciutto, absolutely no regrets. It was delicious. The Reuben looked really good and my friend said it tasted great. She wished it had a whole grain mustard but it was really good. I wished they had table service but at the same time I had a great visit and enjoyed the food.

Came here for lunch with my parents and we were pretty disappointed. I had tomato soup which had no herbs, no cream, nothing to try and cut down the acidity, just a bowl of pureed tomatoes with a couple croutons and a spoonful of cheese which did nothing to improve the taste. Dad had the red pepper soup which tasted like water with a hint of red pepper. Mom had the mushroom soup which may as well have been a bowl of thick milk.
I also got the BLT which tasted fine but it was so soggy. I kept having to dump out juices and the tortilla was turning to mush as I ate. It was also pretty small for being $14.
The only good things were Dad's salad and Mom's bread. We decided to skip dessert since our meals were so lacking.
All in all, I don't think we'll be back any time soon, which is too bad because the food used to be amazing.
2 stars because the coffee was pretty good.

Fun place to visit. Cute little cafe and produce shop. Play area for kids.
We visited late September and picked many delicious strawberries for a very reasonable price.

I love the place and the food. We always want to sit outside and enjoy the breeze and the view of the beautiful garden filled with petunias next to it. And they have these beautiful flowers around the cafe too.

Delightful place to find vegetables, soups, meats, different natural flours.
NICOLE is there to help you with a lovely smile to make your day.
There's also a cute Cafe where one can grab lunch or a cold/hot drink.
In the same parking lot, there is Country Blooms Garden Center with all their beautiful flowers and nicknacks.

Cafe was tasty with great service. Really interesting to know everything we ate came straight from them.
Shop had great selection of veggies but I was taken by the cheese and bread. Will definitely be returning to both very soon.

Such a lovely outdoor patio! A beautiful place to enjoy good coffee and share delicious pie with your family.
The bathrooms and facilities were clean, breakfast was tasty, the price was reasonable, and the staff were friendly. We arrived just before the lunch rush around 10:45 and our meals came quickly. I was happy to discover they have milk alternatives for the coffee, including oat milk. The outdoor patio is dog-friendly.
The grounds are lovely and well-maintained. The big slide for the kids is fun, but is a little tall for toddlers. The flower garden was in full bloom making a beautiful backdrop for our breakfast. They have lots of old farm and kitchen appliances for kids to inspect.
We will definitely be returning this summer for more pie!

Took my spouse berry picking at the end of the season. Their u-pick strawberries and raspberries were amazing. We also enjoyed their market store and cafe. The food was so fresh and delicious. Great spot to spend the afternoon.

It's a beautiful place. Staff are nice. Produce is great. Happened to arrive when there was a power outage around 1pm on July 27. Cafe had to close so no lunch for us. Produce side was accepting cash only. We hung around but eventually left as we weren't carrying cash and the outage could go on for a while.
Still really wanted to go so did some other errands and planned to come back. Called ahead to see if all was resolved. Got a voice message from March. Twice in the span of 10 mins. Apparently no one can be bothered to update the message or pick up the phone when it rings...
We decided to go back and arrived around 325pm to find electricity on. To our surprise the sign in the Cafe window was displaying the time: open until 4pm. We finally made it.
Both doors locked.
Shop was open, but by then we were too annoyed to go in. We could have saved ourselves a trip if someone had answered the phone when we called. I'm sure there's some hunger-grumpiness involved here, as I write this reviee, but this was a disappointing exprience for the two of us who came all the way down from Banff-Canmore for a visit today. Too bad.
