The Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic in Nova Scotia is a seasonal museum that showcases the rich fishing history and maritime culture of the province. The museum features an aquarium, historic boats, and interactive exhibits that cover all aspects of fishery life, including the traditional fishing practices of the Mikmaq people. Visitors can learn about various aspects of fishing traditions through stories and artifacts showcased in different galleries. The museum is suitable for visitors of all ages and can be explored thoroughly within one to two hours.
Great spot. Been coming here since I was a kid. Lots of info and things to learn. Always love going to see Theresa E. Connor, Cape Sable and the Bluenose when she’s in.

It was a great learning experience. The staff are super nice. I love how there have been small changes made to accommodate and attract children. I loved it here, and spent more time than I had planned.
The only suggestion is an improvement in the aquarium section where children can interact with the creature. There should be more creatures there. It was really exciting for the children.

We opted to have a look at this museum which was three floors.
3rd was about the Bluenose 1
2nd was about the fishing village and the evolution of the industry.
1st was more the wildlife/sea life of the Atlantic.
Also included in the admission was a tour of the Theresa E Connor schooner.
If you have CAA you save on admission overall.
We had only 30 mins to tour before they closed so we did a very quick tour of both and didn’t make it through everything.

When we first approached the entrance I did not expect much. When we walked into the aquarium part I was blown away! It was really good with a wide variety of sealife. My young grandkids literally ran from on display to the next. Then we moved into the main display area. There was so much to see that we spent two hours there. My grandkids favorite displays were the dioramas. I found the entire setup very informative and interesting. We ended with a walking tour of the Bluenose 2, a sailboat permanently docked by the museum. It is well worth the trip.

Interesting displays. Informative. Very helpful staff. Enjoyed the tour of the fishing vessel and the history of the First Nation people.

A must do item for those interested in the lore of the life on the Atlantic Fisheries. The only negative was the reconstruction on the Bluenose II and the other museum owned fishing boat which prevented us from touring the boats and we were looking forward to exploring the boats first hand. Otherwise, an extensive museum, plan at least a couple of hours, more if you want to watch the videos and movies available and there were numerous. We learned how to dress out a cod in an extensive video by a man who clearly had expertise in fish processing. There is history of Norwegians who trained there in WWII and the losses of ships due to German submarines. There is a live aquarium, there are knowledgeable staff standing around for questions. There is a restaurant in the museum although not part of the museum, which serves some of the best fish we have ever had and was recommended by a native NS person. The setting is adorable historic Lunenburg and there is much to see and do besides the museum. The museum provides a wrist bracelet which allows one to leave for coffee or lunch then return. We had coffee and scones then returned to the museum in the afternoon. And the most touching item is the memorial to the ships lost and the hands lost over the years.

Great museum!
Such an attention to details!
Kids will love cute little facts about the fish and lots of games along the museum.
Adults will certainly learn a lot of new interesting facts.
Be sure to save some time for the old fishing boat.

My husband and I spent part of our day at the museum and were pleasantly surprised at the number of artifacts and displays. The staff were amazing especially Tina for her talk on the Theresa E Conner and Nancy on the second floor for her personal stories of fishing life in her family. It all made the visit more lifelike and interactive. Thank you for all your efforts in teaching about this part of our history.

Ironworks Distillery is a small batch artisanal spirit distillery located in the charming old blacksmith shop on Kempt and Montague Streets in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. The distillery creates a variety of spirits including Bluenose Rum which has won many awards. Tourists can enjoy a tour of the distillery and sample some of the spirits while here.
Great historical venue, amazing products and huge range. Meg looked after us very well, telling awesome stories about how each of the products came to be. Definitely worth a visit!
We visited in Feb during Winter and needed the warm up, but that also meant no wait. I will presume that it is very busy in the summer though. Thanks team, I'll be back and will be ordering from you to replenish my supply!

Great location in an old blacksmith shop in beautiful Lunenberg. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Tastings are offered for free - 3 per person of whatever you pick. Lots of options and tastes for every pallet. Has shipping options so you can send it home instead of travelling with your purchases. Try the maple rum cream - great tasting and mild maple/rum flavours

Cool place, very small and "homey". You can sample and buy their products right on site, although they don't necessarily have it all in inventory (e.g. their super gin was nowhere to be found, NSLC in Bridgewater had it). Service was friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend this place.

Very cool, cozy stop while in Nova Scotia. Try the one with Rhubarb! Just don't try too much unless you want to waddle around the rest of the day. Good flavors, unusual combinations you cannot find in other places.

Although you could declare this as a shop, the staff gives you tons of information how their produce is made AND you can experience it by yourself. The classic smell of a wood burning distillery, the ambience in this 100+ year old building, the old distillery itself, the fine bottles which are displayed, the recipes you can grab and try at home.... we really enjoyed our stay and we tried some of the "good stuff". And yes: It is good! Recommended for interested persons - and you can definitely learn something about the distillery. Try the maple rum and the maple cream rum. You won't be disappointed.

Authentic East Coast Spirits Distillery. Oozing with unique atmosphere inside. The staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable and articulate about the various products that they sell.
They sell a wide variety of spirits, from Gin to Bourbon.
The bottles are very decorative so their products make great gifts for people back home.
The Bluenose personifies Nova Scotia for sure.

What an awesome distillery in Lunenburg! 100% recommend taking the tour. We’ve done LOTS of distillery tours over the years and this one with MEG was so fun! She cares about what she’s doing and sharing the history of the building as well as the spirits. Really cool to see the expansion and how they’ve grown.

We came here on a Sights and Spirits tour, the new 3-in-1 tour in the Lunenburg Walking Tours. I’m not much of a spirits drinker, but the Distillery tour was a lot of fun! Not only do you learn about the distillery industry/production, but you also learn about the history of the building which is SO cool!
The tour guide, Meg, gave us very reasonable samples of all kinds of rum, liquor, and gin. My favourite was the vodka and the maple rum cream!

Small destillery in town with a great local made products. They run two columns, one in the front, one in the back making small quanties of liquor. Very tasty products, took one limited release whiskey home.
Prices are reasonable for the small quanties made, very good value for the money.

Terrific local distillery and even more amazing history behind the location which used to be a local blacksmith location. The tour was awesome and the tasting was just as good.
I had no idea the ship used in Pirates of the Caribbean was originally built here.

Loved this place. Bought a bunch of gin and vodka to take home. People were friendly, chatty and gave us a lot of information about the distillery that endeared us so much to make several purchases. Apparently, all the ingredients are entirely local. And they have these sophisticated distilling devices custom made in Germany. And, I think the building (historically) used to be a blacksmith.
St. John's Anglican Church in Lunenburg is the second oldest Protestant church in Canada, with a rich history steeped in the Anglican tradition dating back to 1754. Sadly, disaster struck when it was destroyed by a fire on October 31, 2001. However, with great resilience and determination, the congregation voted to restore the church to its original condition prior to the fire. Reconstruction began immediately and was completed by June of 2005.
Such a beautiful church. It tells the history of the fire that the church has that destroyed everything and there’s a tour guide there to tell you more if you ask. Stained glass is on all walls and the balcony has the Lords Prayer and the 10 commandments written down. Definitely recommend if you love history & religion. The glass is absolutely beautiful

St. John’s Anglican Church in Lunenburg, which dates from 1754, is the second oldest protestant church in Canada. St. John’s has a rich history in the Anglican tradition. Disaster struck on the evening of October 31, 2001, when the Church was destroyed by a fire. With remarkable fortitude the Church congregation voted to restore St. John’s to its original condition prior to the fire, and reconstruction at the site began almost immediately. St. John’s has been fully restored and was re-opened in June of 2005. The Gothic architecture is amazing. Beautiful exterior and interior it is great for photographers. Beautiful ornate church, which was rebuilt after a devastating fire that practically burnt down the building back in 2001.
You would never know if you were not told that what you're looking at was not original to this 1753 church!
We learned so much from our guide Andrew. He was very detailed and knowledgeable about the church and its history.
We were told that the pews and the wood floor were the only parts of the building that were saved. Also one of the stained glass windows was remade from the broken pieces collected by the Lunnenburg residents nest the bay in the water runoff from the fire fighters water used to extinguish the fire!
If the Crypt and the balcony is open, do not miss the opportunity to checkout.
Overall, if you're near lunnenburg, this is a must stop!

St. John's Anglican Church is a beautiful and historic church located in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. It was founded in 1753 and is the second oldest continuous Protestant church in present-day Canada. The church is a popular tourist destination and is also a vibrant and welcoming community of faith.
The church building is a fine example of Georgian architecture. It is made of wood and has a steeple that rises 100 feet above the ground. The interior of the church is spacious and airy, with a high ceiling and large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The walls are lined with stained glass windows that depict scenes from the Bible.
The church offers a variety of services and programs throughout the week, including Sunday morning worship, Bible studies, and youth groups. The church also has a strong commitment to social justice and works to help those in need in the community.
If you are looking for a beautiful and historic church to visit in Nova Scotia, St. John's Anglican Church is a great option. The church is also a welcoming and vibrant community of faith that is open to all.

Terra Beata makes the BEST blueberry juice I have ever had. Most other "blueberry" juices sneak in apple & grape as filler & that totally ruins it for me. I want blueberry ONLY & that's what Terra Beata makes. Blueberries, water & a touch of sugar or you can buy w/o sugar if you prefer. For some people, being able to adjust the sweetness is key.
The stuff is just plain delightful, I don't know how else to say it...Im ashamed to admit it but it's so good that when I open a bottle I lick the cap before I rinse & recycle because there's maybe 2 drops on that cap that I don't want to miss out on🤣
If you love blueberries, you should definitely try this juice!

I just bought a bottle of cherry and a bottle of blueberry from Foodland. They kept my receipt unfortunately. They were both absolutely disgusting. Tasted like blue water and red water. All the other reviews I've read definitely don't describe the "juice" I just threw money away on as they wouldn't refund my money because they were opened...

I visited this farm for open farm day and had a wonderful tour with Evelyn! I loved the fact they've worked so hard to accumulate all of their technology and equipment over the years. They really have some high-Tec stuff that does wonders. The processing facility also helps process berries from local farms nearby and it's an awesome family run farm in general! It's cool the craisins are made with 60% less sugar than regular. I bought some undiluted cranberry juice too and loved it!! So sweet! The farm has a small U-pick cranberry patch. It was by chance open on the Sunday we went. The lady running the store met me as I was walking out of the parking lot, she provided me with a bucket and some instructions on how to pick. We picked cranberries for about 30 minutes and got 3/4 of a bucket. Cranberry picking is hard, the bushes are low to the ground so you have to bend over to pick cranberries. Additionally the cranberries are small so it takes a while to fill the pail.
I believe it's a cash only operation, so make sure you bring cash. We got our 3/4 of a bucket for under $5. After leaving we ate quite a few cranberries on the drive home - they are sweet right off the bush.
We originally went to Lunenburg but felt it was too busy. Driving just out of town we found the Blue Hog. What luck to find Don and his gallery. I am a partner at a local accounting firm in the Halifax area and am pleased that Dan's art has graced our offices for over 20 years now where it is admired by clients on a regular basis. His techniques result in images that glow in any light and the coastal themes resonate well with our location. Where else can you get a landscape of Cape Split that spans 12 feet above our entrance? Thank you Dan for sharing your works with our firm.

This guy puts the artist in con artist. The sale pitch is hard and while the art is beautiful it is misrepresented. Beware, you're not buying an original painting. You're buying a photo, manipulated skillfully in photoshop with a "paining" of clear coat over the top.
If the owner was upfront about what he was selling and charging reasonable prices based upon the medium then it would be okay. Instead you'll be met with a high pressure sales pitch that includes some crazy ideas between left and right brain and what art really is. Any attempts to get information on the technique and medium used will b met with deflection.

We love our art from Daniel Richards Studio. His paintings add character, life, and color to our home and have become great conversational pieces. We feel fortunate that we stumbled upon his studio while on vacation. We enjoyed the educational aspect of his studio and were delighted to actually talk to the artist himself. He explained his methods and inspiration and asked us if we would like to own a print for our home. We embraced the process of selecting our favorite works and negotiating a fair price. We eagerly awaited our prints and were pleased with Dan's responsiveness to our questions after the art arrived.

It was the summer of 2021 that I happened to find myself in Dan’s gallery. My husband and I are not art connoisseurs, and typically we are in and out of galleries within minutes. But we both found ourselves mesmerized by the space and the pieces on the wall. What we loved was that this wasn’t just about art, but it was a full experience. Dan had curated rooms and spaces that included words of wisdom and little touches of magic. We found ourselves slowing down and taking in each room and message. Finally, at the end of our tour, Dan asked if there were any pieces that stood out. There were a few, but one in particular caught my eye. After connecting with the man behind the art, I felt that there was a deeper connection and with his help, I was able to make my first art purchase. The piece now rests above our fireplace in our new home in Nova Scotia. When asked about it, I recall the overall experience of the purchase and the magic behind it. Thank you Dan for your art, your words of wisdom, and the experience, now a memory.

My wife and I happened upon Dan's Gallery while in Lunenburg. We had seen his work hanging in Toba's B & B and were immediately drawn to it. After a brief introduction, Dan described his approach to art and how it is valued. None of the pieces had prices. After walking the gallery, my wife and I found two black and white pieces we were interested in. Dan quoted us his prices and explained his method. Make me an offer and I will consider it. This method might put some people off, but we were up for it. After considering the numbers, we told Dan we would like to take one of the pieces at full price. His response, "That's terrific, I accept your offer, but only if you take both for the price of one. You love them both." I was touched.
Dan followed up with us at every step with the shipping and ensured we were happy with our purchase. He even included a black and white self portrait with our shipment.
Dan is a self described "grumpy old man",
but I see a man passionate about life and his art!
Thank you Dan!

My initial thoughts were that this was not your ‘typical’ gallery…and thought perhaps I had come to the right place. The more I looked… it only confirmed the realization… I had definitely come to the right place.
The fact that there were no overinflated price tags beside each piece was confusing at first but all made perfect sense in the end. Like I said earlier…not your ‘typical’ gallery. Each piece was titled and had a magnificent accompanying poem. I found this to be an exquisite usher through the stunning views. How he works with light is mind blowing!!! Each room, taking you to a new perspective of the artist’s many great works / the depths of his mind and soul…such a great experience!
‘Twas an absolute honour to meet this phenomenal artist. Daniel is a lovely, quirky, kind, interesting and passionate human. After reading more about him, his gallery and life, I realized how lucky I was to have not only come upon his open gallery, but also to have met the artist himself that day.
Having a recently renovated home, I have been searching (and searching) for the first piece of artwork to proudly hang on our bare walls… Well I’ve finally found it and much more! There were so many beautiful pieces and I’m proud to be the new owner of artwork by such an amazing artist…and human!
As a fellow artist, I’ve found his works to be truly inspirational.
…My only reserve would have to be that I his work could use more tents;)

Visiting Dan Richards's gallery was the ultimate highlight of our trip to Nova Scotia. I am a professional designer, with some art training, and I could see immediately that Dan's art is next level. When I walked into the gallery, my immediate reaction was, "Wow, this art is amazing!" and that initial reaction has held up. When the art arrived, it sucked me into the detail, composition, and beauty all over again. And our framer with a degree in Fine Art had the exact same reaction. As we unfurled Lloyd's Landing, Blue Boat, and two of Dan's incredible black and white works, each and every time, he gasped "Wow, that's beautiful!"
But even more amazing that the art is the artist. Dan Richards took more care that my art professors to explore my own perception, reaction, and appreciation of each image. Art is an act of putting one's creative and personal energy into the world, and each of Dan's works if full of his spirit.

Our visit to Daniel Richards' gallery was an experience we will remember forever. While the gallery setup was certainly unconventional, the quality of the work blew us away as soon as we stepped inside. We were thrilled to acquire several pieces for our home, where they will bring beauty into our lives daily and keep us connected with Nova Scotia, its stunning land and seascapes, and the joy of nature. In the end, fostering that joy and sense of connection is what really matters about art.
My wife and I spent an hour just looking around. we bought three pieces after talking with the owner and we appreciate them every day. public house feel with different people carrying on conversations and even a guitar player practicing. They even offered us tea!

I was here with my family for 4 hours talking with the lady who worked there, she was very kind and told us stories and gave us tea. The paintings she and her husband had made where absolutely gorgeous too
The Second Peninsula PICNIC park is an amazing place for a picnic or just to take a walk. The views are breathtaking and the beach is rocky but well worth the visit.
Not far from Lunenburg. Worth the trip. Lots of places to park and short walk down one of a few paths to the beach. Not many people on the sunny day we visited. Found some sea glass. Nice spot.

Beautiful views, beach rocky but well worth the visit. Great place for a picnic and exploring.

Cute and quiet place for a picnic. One washroom and no playground area. Rocky and pretty waterfront.

A local favourite of ours, though it's probably a little plain for someone just passing through. The beach is pretty, but rocky. Good picnic spots throughout with well kept Tash bins and outhouses. Often wildlife around, including hares and owls.
A great spot if you're looking for a peaceful stop.

It was great fun seeing the rabbits hopping around. They were really cute!

Cute little spot for a picnic or jus to take in the view. The beach was fairly rocky but still lots to explore.

If you're looking for a beach, then head down the road a bit further. But if you're looking for a secluded, rugged, and peaceful place to have lunch or go for a stroll, this hidden gem is worth the trip.

Through this difficult time (COVID) ... Every time I look at Deborah Pryce's painting (which I finally hung up today) it inspires me. I so fondly remember my time in Lunenburg.
Shipwright Brewing Company is a small microbrewery with a great range of beers. They also offer canning services which makes drinking on the go even easier!
Mini micro brewery! We got lucky since we got the place for ourselves, and Kevin. They have some tasty brews of all sorts, there's something for all types of palettes.
We will stop again.
(Kevin - we wish you luck in your new adventure)

Great little microbrewery. Very good range of beers. If you want a beer and they don't have one already canned in their fridge they'll can one for you in front of your very eyes 😊

Great selection of beverages and the pizzas were fantastic. Staff are very friendly and have excellent service.

This place is amazing. A micro micro brewery. While there is very limited seating/standing, you need to try their brews...excellent. We recommend the Due South for its robust flavour and coconut after taste! We Will be back!

Great beer and service from Shawn. Killer beers on tap, with great selection from Brewster Kellye! Always a welcome stop when in the area.

Really wanted to love this restaurant. Just opened in Lunenburg and was excited to have a new dining option. We tried it twice and love the service and the view, which is terrific. Unfortunately the food leaves a lot to be desired. Pizza is the best option and was decent. However the chicken sandwich was pretty awful. Also the wings left a lot to be desired. Bao (you get 3) is expensive, small and doesn’t really taste like a pork bao should. Stick to the pizza and you will be ok.

The service was friendly and efficient. The food was great.
We had a New York style Donair pizza.

Disappointing experience : I recently dined at shipwright and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Despite hearing positive reviews about their cuisine, the lackluster customer service overshadowed any potential enjoyment.
Upon arrival, I was not greeted at all by the hostess, who seemed totally uninterested. The waitstaff appeared disorganised and uninterested, making it difficult to place orders and receive timely service.
one of my favorite places in this town! The Lunenburg art gallery is truly a hidden gem and a key spot for people visiting from out of town. The Lady working there is very kind and sweet!

The Rum Runner Inn is a well-located and relaxed hotel with comfortable rooms that offer Wi-Fi access. The staff, led by owner Tim, are friendly and sociable. The rooms are nicely appointed, clean, and come with thoughtful touches like pre-packaged ice. COVID precautions are in place to ensure guests' safety. A binder in each room provides information on local attractions and FAQs for guests' convenience.
This is such a cool place to stay. Lovely views of the boardwalk and ocean and the staff are so nice! Accommodations are bright, clean and inviting. Easy to explore Lunenburg from.

Our booking was made through a third party site, on arrival there was a slight mix up, but the owner Tim was on top of sorting it out and getting us squared away in the proper room. With unseasonably warm weather, we opted for a room with a balcony and were lucky to have an amazing view of the harbour. The hotel is centrally located, easy walk to so many restaurants and of course the Waterfront. Parking available on the street, no issue for us being low season, might not be as easy a find in peak season. No issues with the room, bed was the comfortable and bathroom was adequate. We'd definitely consider staying here again and recommend a balcony suite if staying here.

One of the best hotels I stayed at during my trip in Nova Scotia this summer. Tim was just the best host! So welcoming. So nice. Telling us stories about his town. If you want a great experience I highly recommend you stop here!
Also for people like me who are working on the road, its the best wifi I have found during this trip! I was able to easily upload videos on Youtube to give you an example!

Felt very comfortable staying here. Thoughtful service & attention to details. A binder in the room with FAQ's and outline of local attractions. Hospitable, clean, and amazing views. Prime location. The owner Tim is personable & friendly. Would definitely stay again.

My parents decided to treat themselves to a much delayed honeymoon in Halifax and were so excited. They are also from the midwest and did not think to consider hurricanes as a possibility while in Halifax. Long story short, Fiona came through and their Airbnb's were canceled on them, they had no power, and no idea where to go. I reached out to Alice and she had a room booked for them in minutes. My mom has said the service was wonderful and being able to get a room here saved their trip. Highly highly recommend!!

Lunenburg was a gem, unfortunately we didn't feel the same about our stay at Rum Runner Inn. While the location of the inn, and views were great, there were a few things that let us down. The suite we stayed in did not have blinds on the larger windows or skylights. We approached the front desk to ask if there were curtains or anything to use, and received a rather short and dismissive response.
It wasn't clear with the reservation that we would need to take a steep set of stairs to our unit. The main entrance door to our unit from the street did not have a working lock, but we were provided a key for it. I believe there were 4-5 units within this access point, with direct access to the street.
I think we would have benefitted from phoning the inn ahead of time and asking questions about the room options. There were several rules and guidelines of the inn that were provided to us the day of check-in, which we would have preferred to be made of aware of prior to making a reservation.
Kind regards,

My husband & I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary in July at the Rum Runner Inn. This was our first time to Nova Scotia, and Lunenburg was a must see on our list. This boutique hotel was wonderful. When I booked to reservation, I received immediate confirmation and a welcome email from Tim. Mackenzie was very helpful during our stay. The room was beautiful, overlooking the harbor. Very comfortable, easy access to the many restaurants and activities in the area. Highly recommend this Inn.

Charming inn close to everything. We stayed at the top floor corner room which gave us a beautiful view of the harbor and sunrises everyday.
Yes, there's a steep stairwell to get to that floor and yes, parking on the streets only. However, we didn't have to pay when we stayed here early Oct. Room is spacious and we had a good size ref. No microwave though.
We had to change our arrival date due to TS Philippe coming in. Tim processes our request, no problem.

Location, location, Rum Runners is the place! Nice quiet hotel, Tim the owner and staff very friendly and sociable. Beautiful views of harbour from the veranda, nicely appointed, clean, comfortable rooms. Covid precautions +++ liked the prepackaged ice. Stay here you won't be disappointed.

The owner, Tim, was extremely helpful and took the time to share his knowledge of the area with us. His staff were equally attentive: one of them noticed the box of herbal tea I bought and the next morning there was a selection she left in our room! The beds were very comfortable and they even put an extra chair on our balcony for my mother. Just so focused on meeting our needs and making it the best stay of our Nova Scotia vacation. We will be sure to come again Tim! 😊

Great room, very nice service, nice location (park on the side roads to save on the meters, as the Inn suggests), cool town. Book now!

Perfect spot right downtown with small but comfortable rooms. Lots of signage about being a quiet hotel however the doors do not block noise from the hall at all and the normal movement of people coming and going to their rooms.

I stayed at the Rum Runner Inn at the height of Hurricane Lee.
The view onto the port was amazing, and the room was spacious and clean. Lunenburg is a picturesque little village, even under a dark sky !
The service is the best, though. Despite everything else being closed, Tim and his team were able to welcome me late at night and get warm coffee and muffins for the morning after. True customer care.
I'll definitely try to come back, and recommend the Rum Runner to anyone wanting to experience this beautiful part of Canada.

We stayed here for two nights. The hotel was right downtown which was very convenient, the downside is that you have to park on the road which means you could be carrying your luggage down the street depending on what road parking is like. The room was quite large and had a mini fridge and microwave. The staff were all very friendly. We could also see the waterfront from our room which was very cool and there is a shared balcony that guests can use that looks out to the waterfront as well.

Rum Runners is Travelers Choice on Trip Advisor but, to me, the accommodations were comparable to a motel. That said, the rooms were clean and the location is right in the heart of Lunenburg. I think the hotel could use renovation and more attention to detail, like swapping out the cheap, lumpy Walmart pillows for something more conducive to a restful night's sleep. We booked the Honeymoon Suite and, unfortunately, that's just not an accurate description.

This was a very clean and comfortable stay. Staff is friendly, rooms are quiet and updated nicely. We had a very pleasant stay and hope to return to Lunenburg.
The incident with the delivery truck occurred on a Monday when Cranston Gallery was closed & I personally was in a painting class that day, in a different part of town, being taught by the gallery owner. It’s only fair to make sure your information is correct before discrediting someone & their business. This gallery showcases outstanding Canadian art & the owner is exceptionally kind.

Great works of art to be found here created by both Sharon Fox-Cranston and her husband Guy Cranston. They also have a few of Toller Cranston's works. Drop by or visit the website to get your copy of Lunenburg Confined Covid-19 Book of drawings done by Sharon over 71 days of lockdown.

My friend and I were in Lunenburg today shopping around we planned on going into the gallery. There was a purolator truck parked up on the sidewalk, delivering a package to a local business. It was very very busy in town, and there was no parking and barely anywhere to pull off. The lady that owns the gallery was outside, taking pictures of his truck, and was very distressed at the fact that he was parked in front of her business. She was so completely rude to him, and when we said to her “Hey be kind, he’s just trying to do his job!” She was even more rude to us, and told us three times to mind our own business and that she was going to report him to purolator. I don’t think anyone should visit this gallery and give this woman any business. She doesn’t deserve it. In a world where we could be anything she chose to be rude and obnoxious not only to the poor Purolator guy but also to potential customers.
The yearly culmination performance of the Boxwood Festival is a delightful occasion to be held at this location. I attended specifically to witness a musical event titled Miners of the Deep. This establishment is known as Central United Church, affiliated with the United Church of Canada.
Always enjoy the annual Boxwood Festival Finale Concert in this venue.
