Santa's Village is a seasonal amusement park in Muskoka, which boasts Christmas-themed attractions such as rides, visits with Santa and a petting zoo. The park also features a splash pad for kids to cool off during summer months. The colours and lights create festive vibes during the winter season. The food and available rides vary depending on the time of year, with the park fully operational from summer to fall before winding down for Santa's busy period.
Santa's Village is definitely a theme park worth visiting. It's definitely a fantastic all year round Christmas themed park. It's a wonderful place to go escape your daily life, and feel the warmth of Christmas no matter the weather. During winter time it's quite a site with the extra Christmas lights they put up - along with the available rides. Not many rides are open during winter, but the Train, and Horse-wagon ride are a delight to ride! Would definitely recommend bringing young kids, or even just going for the lights. Arriving around 4pm is probably the best time, as you get some daylight enjoyment while you Transition into the night festivities. Overall it's a great place to be, with friendly Elves and Helpers!

Nice place to visit when in Huntsville or around the Muskoka region. Traditionally a Christmas themed park, there are still lots to see and rides to enjoy. There is a train ride that runs around the center of the facility. It's a nice experience as people wave and greet during the ride.
The boat ride is a good experience also as it goes through the surrounding cottages.
Food is not allowed on site but there are picnic areas in the parking lot to enjoy your private food.
There is a go cart circuit to enjoy also.
Lots of ride to enjoy. But the rides are small and short but you can go on them as many times as possible.
It's also a bit pricey for an all day pass. If you leave around you might just get the season pass.

We had a great time at Santa's Village! There was little to no wait for most rides. We ate lunch at the sit down restaurant and the food was okay but not memorable. We enjoyed visiting the various rides and areas of the park. The children loved meeting Santa and Mrs. Clause, who were fantastic! We will definitely by back in the future!

We loved it, due to extreme cold we cold not enjoy all the rides but the authorities made sure it’s enjoyable for all age. We went few days before Christmas, the fire pits were life saving. Overall it was an amazing day out for all.
Please book your tickets in advance, you never know the waiting time. Thanks! Enjoy

Great Theme Park for the young to the 'Believers'. The colours & lights truly make Santa's Village festive in the winter. The food & rides, & their availability change for the seasons. Fully operational during the summer months to a select few, winding down through Autumn to Santa's time of year. A Season's Pass is worth the money if you plan to make the trip more than twice. The 'Village' is appropriately sized for families with young children.

Always a great place to take the kids, also I don't think a lot of people have been there since they added new attractions and renovated their park. Everything looks amazing as and I hear they are doing a winter fest soon which will be awesome right before Christmas for the lil ones. The staff was friendly and approachable and let's not forget Santa, he is always great. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The only complaint I would have is that the restaurant that's near the water needs to work on their process of clearing tables and getting people seated and also coming around to clear plates or refill drinks. Other than that great time. Definitely recommend.

Amazing place to spend a day with kids and family. Lots of fun rides. Lesser time in lineups. So, it's a better use of time. They have camp ground and cabins too across Santa's village, that can be rented too.

We had an amazing family vacation at Santa's Village! Our 4 year old has been obsessed with Christmas so this was beyond perfect! All the rides were great for little ones and the lines weren't crazy which was very good since littles have next to no patience lol. Highly recommend! We also stayed at Santa's Whispering Pines Campground across the road which was lovely and so close to the park.

It's an experience. Theme parks in the winter is a paradigm shift for me, but when you are treating your grandchild, why not? There are limited rides and events but enough to cover the overall cost. (Balancing?) I would go and do this again if the "other" grandchildren have a desire. It's a great park for kids, of all ages.

Pretty fun place for families.
Christmas themed amusement park.
The great thing is that because it's geared towards kids, unless they're little, you don't have to worry about whether the child is old enough to ride anything. And even small kids can ride most things.
I recommend staying at the campground. It makes it very easy getting to the park and back as it's just across the street.

This is a great day for the right aged kids. The upgrades they have done recently are awesome.
The new elf school is a huge upgrade from the last and it wasn’t that bad before.
I would suggest to bring your own food (you would have to leave it in your car) as the prices for food are not worth it.
Overall great day with the family and a day the kids will remember. The staff is definitely in the spirit. Extra kudos to the elf school staff who were in character and smiling constantly!

We were staying at the campground across the street. My wife and sister came over in the morning to ask if there was stuff for adults to do and they were told yes. They were told to bring our park pass to get a discount.
So we headed over with our pass and we were now told we need our reservation. Luckily my wife had it on our phone. I watched the staff review it with great detail.... wouldn't want just anyone to get that $3 savings. So we paid the $155+ and went in.
We did one round of go carts and toured around the park.
The train wasn't running. The batting cages looked like they had been closed for years. So that eliminated two adult things we could do.
We went on the 6 car ferris wheel. Which after they took the time to stop and load each car, did one revolution then started to unload the cars. That was a joke.
We went back to our motorhome for lunch. It rained for about an hour so u checked their website. It says they keep going and even provide free rain ponchos. So when it stopped, we headed back.
It was around 3 so I headed back to the go carts only to find the carts had been put away. The staff said they were told to put them away for the day.
I went to customer service and spoke to Sherry. I explained that we were 3 adults and paid $155 to ride the go carts once. She had a so sad too bad attitude. She actually said the park was for kids not adults. If that's the case, say that before we pay our money.
My wife's sister was leaving the next day so I asked if she could give 2 rain checks for the next day. She said no, I'll give you one. Managers like her don't realize you aren't selling a physical product. It takes nothing from your bottom line to give 2 passes. Needless to say the pass went unused as we were not about to give them anymore money.
The other issue that I had is with the staff that are running the rides. They looked so young that I asked a little girl how old she was and she said 14!!!
I'm all for giving kids who want to work a job. But being in charge of rides has a great responsibility. One that I don't believe a 14 year old can handle. If there was a medical issue I don't think they would be able to handle it. Nor do I think they should have to deal with it and have to live with a major problem gone wrong.

I was really surprised by this place. Didn’t expect this Christmas themed mini theme park all the way out here in Muskoka. The rides are pretty good for young kids. If your child is about 3.5 years old then they pretty much should be able to get on the ride. The park is not huge but big enough to spend a few hours. The facilities are very well kept and it wasn’t too busy on Thanksgiving weekend.
Kwon — Google review
Absolutely awesome! What a pleasant surprise. We weren't expecting a lot but we were there until close. Perfect ages would be 6-10 (can go on all the rides) The line ups were fairly quick (10-20mins) there is no stroller check so we packed lunches and snacks. There are plenty of picnic tables around the park to take a quick snack break. They keep the magic of Christmas alive in the summer! We also stayed at the camp grounds for 2 nights. The facilities were clean and well maintained with a perfectly sized pool and playground. Highly recommend!

Fun place for the kids, friendly staff - winter is magic . Be prepared for the line to see Santa ! Buy tickets online prior coming so you won’t have to wait at the entrance.overall lovely place with nice rides for the kids
Jennifer Epstein — Google review
It was a lot of fun for the kids (ages 7 and 5). There was an assortment of rides for smaller kids (~4yrs+) as well as slightly older kids (likely fun up to ~9-10 yrs.). Full sized adults can also go on most rides etc. and sometimes are needed to accompany shorter riders.
The staff at the park were great and helped continue the magic for the kids.
Elf school was a must! Do it early since there are activities given that require your movement throughout the park. It only open at 10:30 though so do a ride or two early.

It has been a few years since we went to Santa's Village and added the stop to our road trip. They have been making some changes and updates. For the price, we would have expected a later close. We waited in line more than we have in the past even on a Monday. The kids still had a good time and there was a lot to see even if we didn't do everything.

Santa's Village is a magical fun place to bring your kids. There are rides, activities, music, food, candy, ice cream, animals and more to entertain the Rugrats. Plenty of shade and seating for breaks. Clean, wholesome and traditional. All the bathrooms are impressively maintained.
The prize games are fun and the novelties are memorable.
The staff is super friendly, helpful, accurate, fun and well spirited working with children. The Reindeer 🦌 were wonderful animals to see.
The overall valued experience here is great. We will return for Christmas time

Muskoka Brewery, established in 1996, is a renowned craft beer producer offering free daily tours. Visitors can explore the brewing process, visit the lab to ensure quality standards, and sample beers in the taproom. Located in Bracebridge, Ontario, it's a popular spot for beer enthusiasts. Really cool brewery located a few minutes away from downtown Bracebridge. It has a large patio area, an apparel store, multiple refrigerators with beers and other beverages ready to go, the bar and washrooms. You can try their flights that come with thee different beers (either build your own or go with the popular choices). This is the best wedding venue in Muskoka! Right in the middle of Bracebridge and Port Carling makes for quite a few options for guests to stay at. Katya, one of the owners of Brooklands Farm essentially acts as your wedding planner as she has MANY connections around the Muskoka area and knows how to have a smooth day. It also comes with pre-hung lights in the barn, a whole shed filled with decorations from previous weddings, and you get to stay on site as the couple in the beautiful log house. I'd recommend this place to anyone!

My husband and I had our (long awaited!) wedding reception at Brooklands. It was absolutely magical and worth the wait that was forced on us by the pandemic! The venue is gorgeous and was exactly what we wanted - surrounded by nature outdoors and beautifully rustic in the barn. Katya is wonderful, she made the entire day easy and took on the vast majority of my stress between helping to plan, give vendor suggestions leading up, and access to a huge array of decorations! Our guests loved the lawn games and extensive bar, and raved about how amazing everything was. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend Brooklands. Getting to stay overnight in the log cabin on the property, as well as getting ready there, is a total bonus. Thank you so much again for everything to Katya, Ken, and the rest of the team!

We had our wedding this past weekend at Brooklands Farm and it was a dream come true! We got engaged and booked the venue in 2020 and right from the start Katya was there to support us, answer our many questions, and keep us on the right track. She was always there for us throughout the entire process and always responded quickly no matter the day. We truly believe that without her help, we wouldn't have had the amazing wedding that we did.
The venue itself is stunning and I assure you that photos do not do it justice. Between getting ready in the log cabin, the grassy area for the cocktail hour and ceremony, the beautiful barn, and the endless grounds to explore for photos, it was a truly special experience for both the guests and ourselves. It is an extremely versatile place that checked off all of our boxes and I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to say "I do".
Bracebridge will always be a special place for us and we are forever grateful to Katya and the rest of the BF team for helping our day go smoothly to allow us to truly soak it all in. Thank you Katya again for everything you did to make our day everything we could have ever hoped for!

My husband and I got married at Brooklands Farm on September 10, 2022. Katya went above and beyond to make sure we had the most amazing day of our lives. She is so organized and on the ball!
The venue is so stunning that even the best pictures do not do it justice. The guests could not stop talking about how gorgeous it was and how perfect the day was. The entire team at Brooklands Farm was exceptional and so amazing. We couldn’t have picked a better spot to get married than Brooklands Farm.

We are still over the moon happy with our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding reception last week! Everything was perfect. Katya and Ken worked with us very closely since we had to postpone the wedding not once but twice due to Covid. The venue is beautiful… just like a fairytale. Katya kept everything running smoothly and I told her it was like herding cats! The bar and bartenders were fabulous and so accommodating! And what a beer selection!! I cannot think of one thing I would have changed. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thank you Katya and Brooklands Farm for so many wonderful memories.

We don't even know where to begin. Our wedding day this past July was a fairytale come true! Katya, Ken and the team at Brookland's are the true package. Through the challenging times of planning, and re-planning our wedding due to covid, Katya and the team we're always there to support, guide and pivot. They made our day so special, it truly was seamless. We had the absolutely most perfect, stress-free day! There was not a single aspect of the day we worried about, because we knew "Katya's got it!", it was such a lovely feeling to have. The grounds are absolutely stunning, the tent, barn and bar areas - people we're even commenting on how beautiful the bathrooms were! Every little detail is so well thought of, from gardens, to the lovely cup of coffee delivered to our front porch at the log house the next morning - she truly makes you feel like royalty. You can really tell how much love goes into everything they do. We would recommend this venue to anyone, and we will be sure to always stop in for a quick hello and life updates!

My wedding at Brooklands Farm this June was an actual dream come true - and that is all thanks to Katya and the team at Brooklands Farm. Not only is it the most beautiful venue imaginable (between the cottage, barn, lawns, gardens, dock and tree tunnel entrance) but, right from the moment you meet her, Katya does everything in her power to make sure your day is exactly what you want it to be. She has the most amazing eye for detail + decor, her suggestions and recommendations are spot on (i think she's done this a few times hehe) and she is SUCH a warm and wonderful woman. Not to mention, when my dress strap broke during cocktail hour she had her "bridal thread" in hand and my dress fixed in under three minutes - I don't think there's anything she can't do!! I love Katya, I love Brooklands Farm and I will never forget my perfect wedding there.

My husband and I recently had the privilege and pleasure of being the parents of the groom at a wedding event at Brooklands Farm. The day was perfect in every respect, from the weather, to the venue, to the food, live music, food and overall vibe. A huge part of the success of our event was the amazing, dedicated and professional staff led by our hostess and Brooklands Farm proprietor, Katya Riley and her family. She is wonderfully easy to deal with, and provided us with guidance and support on every aspect of hosting a wedding at this amazing location. Our friends are still raving about the event and particularly the beautiful venue. We unreservedly recommend Brooklands Farm for your special day! Thank you Brooklands Farm!!

What a magical place. I was here for a close friends wedding and was DJ'ing as well. I must say, I've been to many wedding and worked a lot of them, the benefits of having a venue where there aren't other weddings going on, there is amplitude amounts of parking, and it fits 150 people in the barn no problem. I highly recommend having a wedding here and yes it is up in Bracebridge, but making a weekend out of it is a great excuse to visit the outdoors the next day or before.

A picturesque river runs through a forested trail that leads to the stunning Wilsons Falls - the most breathtaking waterfall on the North Branch of Muskoka River. This magnificent natural attraction can be accessed via Sander Dr and offers an unforgettable view from a walking trail. Visitors can also enjoy a picnic at the site. The surrounding area boasts striking scenery, but visitors need to be comfortable walking on rocks to access some of it.

Great trails that run along the river and waterfall. Even though it rained recently, the trails weren't too muddy which was nice.

Beautiful waterfall, you have a better straight on view from the road because the hiking path loops around and you can’t see the waterfall unless you go out on the rocks but it’s very dangerous since they are wet and slippery and uneven. Beautiful walk through the cedars and along the river. Even though the songs are very strict about dogs ever dog owner here had their dog off leash and running around. So be careful if you don’t like dogs

Beautiful hidden gem in the Muskoka District. As previous reviews mentioned, you have to drive all the way to the end of Wilson Falls Road to get to the parking and start of the trail head (about a 2 min+ additional drive from where Google Maps tells you). Make sure you have proper footwear when walking on the rocks to see the water up close.

Lovely trail and falls here. Make sure and drive all to the end of the Wilson falls road to park. You can walk along the path but also take the trail closer to the river where the rocks are and walk along. Lots of bugs to bite so make sure and cover yourself in some bug spray. Some of the water is stagnant so just beware.

It was a nice calm trail to take, and can walk on the rocks (but that is going off trail, but do be careful!). When putting the address into Google, it'll state you have arrived at, but will be in front of someone's house, just follow the road to the very end, and it opens up into a parking lot with a sign stating "Wilson's trail". You then get out and follow the trail. There is a spot on the road to stop and take beautiful pictures (we didn't get a chance due to time and noticing a little too late), its a small road, not very busy, but and narrow, so again catuion road pulling over. There is a hydro station you can stop at as well in front of the falls to take pictures and walk up the road a bit to take pictures. The trail itself was really nice and relaxing to do. Do recommend to take trail (it is a short one), and no you do not pay for parking.

Hike the nearby trail, with trail head access at the end of Sander Dr. Wilson Falls is the wildest and most scenic falls on the North Branch of Muskoka River. There are 3 small sets of falls here and there all very beautiful. Many places to picnic and fish. There is free parking available but not alot of it. Water was warm and quite clean. Alot of good photo opportunities. Bracebridge also has two other falls to check out. It was a nice place to take a break. 4km of trails. What I find very interesting is that at the start of the trail they have a sign that will tell you the different ways the forest is managed. And when you walk through there are signs that tell you exactly what you are looking at( look at the picture you will see what I mean) this is a great way to learn.

A hidden gem for people like me who were touring the area. This location has a moderate sized free parking, and there's no fees required to use this amazing patch of land.
In the winter, you can find people snowshoeing, hiking, and even cross country skiing. There are numerous tracks, some are exclusive for only snowshoeing use in order to protect the quality of other trails.
I estimate that one can easily spend half a day here and still have some tracks left unexplored.
Animals are allowed in some of these trails as well.
Keep an eye out for some humourous tracks and mannequins pretending to be bodies over at the Body Dump trail. Thank you, whoever decided to add that touch of humour and going the extra mile for the rest of us to enjoy!
Highly recommend place for people who are nature lovers or want a place to hike in the area.

Kirby's Beach is a popular spot in Bracebridge, located on the picturesque Lake Muskoka. The sandy beach area is surrounded by a grassy play and picnic area, playground, washrooms, and ample parking. The shallow water makes it safe for children to play and splash around. It's a bustling destination during summer holidays with clean water for swimming. Despite size constraints, there are picnic tables and shaded areas available.
Incredible playground area with accessible options for families who have children with accessibility difficulties. Clean and well maintained. Access to a beautiful beach.

Perfect little beach, long shallow sandbank great for little ones, brand new playground, washrooms. Was recommended by a local. Really is a gem. Lots of parking, lot 1 and overflow lot 2.

Amazing place with a very beautiful view to get to. Beach was soft and water was clean. Washrooms and facilities were clean as well. Lots of parking available and benches also located through out. Water was peaceful and not rough. View is breathtaking and very peaceful.
Have to visit for sure.

The beach is small, nice and sandy, enough parking spots for the area and a nice set of washrooms. Great little spot to spend the day.

A small cozy beach in beautiful muskoka with clay beaches. The water here is clean yet there is a restriction for private property. There is appropriate distance to social distance but it can get crowded very easily due to size restrain. A mesmerizing view and the water is suitable for kids as it doesnt get deep unless youre closer to the limits.

Nice small clean beach with a playground for kids, picnic tables, swimming area, trees. Wasn’t too busy in end August.

Kirby beach is ideal for small kids. The water is very clear, and the depth is gradual. The bottom is sandy and smooth. There is also a playground with a variety of structures that the kids will love.
Lots of wheelchair accessibility options too, from a beach ramp to custom play structures.

Kirby's Beach has an excellent Beach and playground area! My grand children love ❤️ it!

I was just at this place last week, and the town is still cleaning up broken glass, nails and needles on the beach, and in the water, even though they've officially reopened it, after being closed due to this stuff being found earlier in the spring. This worker showed me the glass and nails they found while raking the beach. This is not a place for adults to be, let alone children. Nor is it a safe and responsible move by the town to reopen this park, when clearly there is lots of glass and stuff still in the sand and water.
Amazing fresh trout products!
Fresh filets and the trout pate is the best!

The rainbow trout pate and smoke trout was delicious. They do sell them in stores in Muskoka. I was partially expecting there to be fish ponds or some touristy like activity. There is not, there is only a small store with very friendly staff and delicious fish products you can buy.

I saw this sign on 118 west when I wan heading home and decided to pull in.
It’s was a little piece off in the bush but not bad. I was expecting shimmering ponds but all I saw was two washed out ponds with dirty water. Apparently there was some problems with beavers and they don’t have their public fishing open at this time. Little let down, I couldn’t catch my own fish for dinner but I managed to get some smoked trout before I left.
Trout was awesome!

Excellent place to buy smoked trout. When we're going to Muskoka it's a must. Ralph and his employees are doing fantastic job to bring pure taste of Muskoka to our table. Highly recommended!

Picked up some fresh smoked trout and it was fabulous! Nice alternative to smoked salmon with excellent taste. We got 2 varieties as in smoked and gravalax and both excellent.

Consistently nice smoked fish and soup. Worth stopping by.

The smoked trout is out of this world! We picked some up at picnic snack bar in Orillia and it’s to die for. Highly recommend!

A lovely place to get fresh trout. Small and genuine place off the beaten path. Makes finding food feel good. Like it should.
Beautiful park for a stroll any time of the day. At sunset, the trees look very beautiful with golden hue. Across the park also there are scenic places. Driving all through Bracebridge, especially in fall is awesome. The color of the trees is exceptionally beautiful.

Great little park for children and adults alike! Our 7 year old loved messing around on the climbing structures. Especially loved the public swimming area, even if we didn’t actually venture into the water. Very picturesque and relaxing!

What a nice park! We are kid-centric park goes. There are medium sized kids playground installations with swings and slides on sand surface under big pines (a bit messy as pine cones filled sand) and adequate parking. Benches and a lovely view too! The waterside boardwalk has railings so kids don’t end up where they shouldn’t. In the spring the water is high - so high that the stairway that parallels the falls was shut down with the river spilling over it.

This place is the kind that you just tuck in your pocket and pull it out when you need to reclaim some sanity. The playground provides fun for the kids, the falls are in walking distance (as is downtown) and there is plenty of shade, should you need it. Parking can be tight though due to the very limited space available.

Awesome park in the heart of Bracebridge with a view of the falls

Getting to this park was different.. the park is on the water side but parking is on the other side of a busy road.. there's a bridge you have to drive through for parking for the park.. just remember to make a sharp right turn.

Beautiful sight on our way back from Algonquin. Will come back to visit more of the town and this spot in particular. Waterfall in the middle of your own town is a fascinating landscape.
Stayed here for a hockey tournament in the off season. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Due to an over booking got a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom cottage. Cottage was clean and well kept. Was a great weekend. The trails and waterfalls were an awesome place for the kids to explore. Would come back here again for sure.

Owner walking around campsites and sitting in our chairs wearing only a pair of boxer briefs and consistently "checking in" several times during the day.
Campsites on the "beach" packed tent to tent, extremely tight not a lot of space or privacy.
Beach is entirely made of play-sand or something similar that will go kicking up in the air at the slightest gust of wind. More sand on my food than actual seasoning in 5 seconds flat.
The bathrooms / shower are just porta potties and there are only 2 readily accessible for beach campers. The handicapped bathroom was also closed all Canada day weekend.
You get charged to use the "waterpark" which is just a beach front that oversees the High Falls and consists of the following.
- $25 per person for a single day to simply be on the beach.
- Higher rates for those that want to go into the water
- A fleet of broken down pedal boats for children.
*******
Read reviews of this place. Was asked to place a $300 refundable deposit which, judging by other reviews, won't be refunded despite campsite being left in clean condition.

We don't have anything bad to say.. we are off season so NO ONE IS HERE :). We legit have the place to ourselves. We parked the trailer right on the beach!! It's magical. Are some things needing work, 100%, is it run down and need love YUP! but the price was right and we made memories. The hike to the falls is gorgeous 😍 stunning.. We may come back and enjoy the water stuff in the warmer months. Overall had a great time. There is always work to be done. Plus side they were working hard this weekend with cleaning up properties. Some of these comments are unreal. Can't please everyone. Make the most of what you have.

Stay away!! not a good place. Listen to the other negative reviews. Google Search Brian Coldin, with I believe over 300 convictions, there is a reason, he is not a good person. I owed a 40 foot RV that was there for 3 years and cost me thousands of dollars to get out. I was happy to take my loss and leave. The area is beautiful but you will be sure of having a bad experience. His kids are operating it now and they are a chip of the old block.

Liked · The son of the owner who ran the cabin area was very polite and helpful, Jessica at the front desk was lovely. The waterfall was stunning.
Liked that it was pet friendly, till we realized its a death sentence for animals.
The bbq was brand new.
Property is large and has so so much potential with the right owner and funding.
Disliked · Recycling bin full when arrived Fridge and freezer were not working.
Fire alarm was also beeping
Internet is extremely poor i was not able to work.
If your dogs are fearful of oud Fireworks just know that they were set off nightly.
Serious mold issues in bathroom caused our allergies to go nuts, trouble breathing
Dust or webs inside in corners not cleaned at all.
Bbq food tools were absolutely vile
Ant problem in the bathroom
Broken furniture in front of firepit.
Someone else's sock was in pull out couch
Rat and mice poison left out around the property where dogs could easily eat it. Watch your pet every single second!!
Piles of garbage, debris everywhere on the property.
Sheer curtains in the bedroom wake you at 6am but you will likely already be awake cause the bed was unbelievably uncomfortable, we were in so much pain in the morning.
Heavy machinery being run at 11pm
A 6ish year old girl child running around naked in front of strangers.
Read Google reviews about this place before booking, we wish we had investigated more.. we booked 3 nights and forced ourselves to stay just two.. we couldn't bare another night and happily lost $200 in order to leave.

Camped in High Falls for one night. Our site was right on the beach!
Very nice sandy site#11. Perfect for kids and dogs. Waterfalls very near by. Calm river but a bit deep after a few feet in. The park seems old and rundown but location is nice. Rope swing super fun!! Lots of paddle boats, sups etc. Also pool that we enjoyed. All washrooms need a serious makeover. Portable toilets and shower only down by the beach area. Staff (Andrew and Lady and front desk) were really nice during our stay.
Even though it’s rundown I would come again.

We were on the beach. View was great. Camping is still being developed looks like. Firewood we purchased was wet and would not burn well.

If you own a resort in this time of human stress on natural habitats, it would be nice to think that resorts start putting natural shorelines ahead of creating beaches. The zone of shorelines are important habitat for reptiles and pollinating insects which are threatened and endangered, yes in Ontario. Let’s book resorts in Ontario that value Ecology and protect the natural waterfronts, which contribute to our own well being and enjoyment of the outdoors. If you want beaches go to Florida.

So delighted with this property and staff. Friendly people like Andrew and Johny and Mike made the vist! They were so incredibly helpful, there was a power issue and an electrician was on-site within a half an hour. More over, they went out of thier way to make us feel welcome, which for my son with special needs can be difficult at times. They helped empty my trailer tank, and provided such a warm and welcoming environment. When I had friends come visit they joked that I was already friends with the staff, and they made that possible by just being so amazing. Breathtaking views, accommodating services, what more could you ask for.
It breaks my heart reading some of the negative reviews after having SUCH an incredible experience here. We will be making this an annual site!

We spent the Canada Day long weekend here, and we had the best time! The beach is perfect, we really enjoyed swimming in the lake and the rope swing, awesome location.
The campground is really nice as well, it’s small so everything’s close and a quick walk- which was great!
The bathrooms & shower were not what we expected, a little run down but manageable.
Johnny was the best! Super helpful, kind and just a cool dude in general- he went out of his way to help us multiple times and really added to experience in a positive way, thank you!!
We will absolutely be coming back, it’s a great little spot for a relaxing weekend of camping.

Good place for children and pets.
First impression upon arrival was not great. Check in was a rickety old shack with rotten chairs and no staff. Finally checked in. We camped in the forest section. This was pleasant. A short walk to the beach and "comfort station", which consisted of cob web ridden, run down out houses, outdoor showers and one sink. This place definitely needs some TLC and tidying up.
The best part of this place was the beach area, activities and waterfall. The wonderful girl that runs the water sports is a gem. I believe her name is Emily - a one woman show, from cleaning the outhouses, delivering fire wood, helping people with the boats and even fixing electrical issues in the sites, she is a doll. She made the stay pleasurable and is definitely their best asset.
Overall my children had a blast, at the "water park" a bit of false advertising as it is definitely not a water park. They did enjoy the water slide, jump rope, trampoline, magic carpet and endless boats and paddle boards.
I would recommend this place if you have kids.

We rented the 5-bedroom cottage and our group had the whole place for the weekend. The cottage was decent and clean, and had everything we needed. The owners were available when needed. We enjoyed the views especially the falls and the waterpark (5 minute drive down from the cottage) swimming and paddling and admiring the fall foliage. Great place to bring children especially in the summer as there are a lot of activities! The whole resort can do a bit more work because it has a lot of potential and the location was a plus! Very close to downtown Bacebridge which we explored after we checked out.

We had a great experience camping here over the long weekend. The beach, river, and falls were easily accessible and the highlight of the trip. The camp site itself had plenty of space for us to have a few tents for our group.
The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times, especially Johnny! We appreciate it. Would definitely go back and highly recommend this place.

These accommodations are filthy and run down. Upon arrival the beds were full of long black hair as well as pubic hair. Clearly the sheets were not changed. The beds were damp and some lights were burned out. No soap was provided for the shower and the bathroom door was broken. Front desk refused to provide a refund. Stay away from this place unless you want to be ripped off.

It's our First time at High Falls! Firstly, we have a doubt because of the BAD reviews but we give it a shot! We went to the beach and play at waterpark with Family and friends. My honest review is, we really enjoyed the waterpark with the kids because of the kayak, boating, water acitivities such as slides! and the falls is really nice!! Lastly, they need to improve the washrooms and showers it's a bit smelly and dirty. and the surrounding needs improvement as well. they need someone to maintain the park.
For those who wants to camp: I observe that the campsite is a bit small and less private and a bit bumpy when you're going there to do tent camping.
A nice park in Bracebridge. The grounds and paths are well-kept, with beautiful flowers throughout the summer. There are some waterfalls which unfortunately aren't always running. There is also a meditation circle in which you can sit quietly and look up at the trees. Our dog loves going for a walk through there!

An absolutely beautiful and peaceful garden, with two picnic areas ! Just strolling around with a friend and had the pleasure of chatting with the two ladies that maintain the garden. Ended up going home with some fresh chives 😊
Highly recommended to drop by if you’re in the Bracebridge area.

Father Roy is full of passion and driven to support the community in their faith. We moved to the Muskoka area a few months ago, searching for 'our' new family parish, we visited several before attending St. Joseph's and have been dedicated since. Blessed to be apart of this parish.
