Very passionate and knowledgeable owner who through stories takes you on a really inspiring tour through the history of maple syrup production right through to present day production at the farm. Small batch local produce is to be treasured. Small on site shop selling the syrup, maple ice cream and other products. Would highly recommend a visit and the maple syrup.

The best maple ice cream we have ever had! Of course, we walked a bit to explore the maple leaf trees, but there were too many mosquitoes 🦟. We bought some syrup that is supposed to be 100% maple syrup. Additionally, we learned that there are many 'fake' maple syrups being sold in the supermarket...

Our family got to visit Sugarbush in the summer of 2021 when vacationing nearby. It’s a really nice experience, and the syrup is just perfection! We got a huge bottle of the dark syrup and some ice-cream while we were there. I recommend their syrup to everyone I know.

If you’re near the area, must visit them.
It’s a very interesting place for you to learn more about the production of maple syrup. The owner Tom was very friendly, shared some great stories with us. Unfortunately due to pandemic, they have a small table set up right outside their store entrance for people to order and purchase their products, there isn’t a store where you can walk around to check out the products.
We were able to try their maple ice cream, which was very unique. In addition we purchased some maple mustard, maple bbq sauce and a maple cheesecake. Really like the taste the cheesecake, in a way the flavour is quite similar to the maple ice cream, well duh maple syrup right. Yes but we do like the cheesecake, they only sell it in frozen whole cake, not selling by slice.
Also, there is this trail right next to it where you can see the maple trees and the whole connection on how the sap is extracted. Very interesting, learned a lot new stuff.
They are closed for winter, so make sure to go or else you go to wait till next year!

Wow, we tasted the best ice cream in the area. It's so pure, no icy flaky feel at all, just the pure cream.
The owners are super nice people. The dog is very friendly. And there's a little cute cat as well.
My son found this place a few weeks ago and he loves it. Every time he passes by the area, he must go there. Now we know the place, and we love it too.

Amazing operation, friendly people, great hiking trails, variety of products to purchase and the maple soft serve ice cream is to die for! This is a must visit place!

Lovely experience visiting this location’s shoppe. Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendliest “good boy” 🐕 named Boomer. We purchased some of the delicious maple syrup and delightfully tasty maple candies.

Nice place to stop by. Totally recommend buying local maple syrup and ice-cream. You can also go for a little hike around the farm as well.
Dávid Turčan — Google review
Me and my buddy were riding through the twisties in the summer heat, and the only thing on our minds were ice cream. When we saw the signs posted outside this maple farm we couldn't resist. We were welcomed by the world's friendliest dog then by the nicest people serving the best ice cream I've ever had. The ice cream costs $6 for a cup/can. It sounds pricey but both quantitatively and qualitatively they are totally worth it. The can is about the size of one those Greek yogurt cans. And the ice cream itself is more cream than ice. The two cans were sitting in the sun for some 5 minutes (as I sort out the payment. Cash is preferred and I didn't have cash, so I had to E-Transfer the money) and they didn't even melt. They were so ridiculously thick and creamy I broke the plastic spoon trying to scoop it out. The maple syrup taste actually comes from maple syrup rather than "Artificial flavors" like many other "maple syrup flavored" ice cream. Knowing this place exists, I don't mind riding 200 kilometers from Toronto to get a taste of this homemade ice cream.
Arrowhead Provincial Park is a serene natural retreat situated in Huntsville, Canada. This park encompasses a gorgeous lake with sandy beaches, hiking trails, campsites, and equipment rentals which offer visitors opportunities for various outdoor activities like snowshoeing and cross-country skiing during winters. The camping options include car camping, RVs and cabins with amenities like comfort stations, stores, dog beach, picnic shelters and sports rentals for water as well as land activities.
Beautiful winter park. Ski trails are top notch, usually groomed to perfection. The arrowhead lake loop And beaver meadow loop are peaceful and very scenic.
The ice trail is a gem. The fire & ice is a very cool experience. Be careful near the fire pits for uneven ice!
Stubbs falls loop is a nice winter hike too
This isn’t a secret - be prepared to book in advance if you want to get in!

It is absolutely worth the trip! I was so amazed bye everything at this provincial Park! I will definitely be going back as soon as possible. The beaches are beautiful and the waterfall is awesome! Big bend is a spectacular view with some amazing history behind it! The trails are so much fun and the camp sites are very private and well maintained! This Park is very big so give yourself time to see everything during your visit. There is also a dog beach for your best furry friend to have the best day ever! I would highly recommend checking this place out. You won't regret it.

Nice park. Keep away from site 101, it nice as long as it doesn't rain. The water comes right through camp site. As well they need to replace or clean the picnic tables. Washrooms were not bad condition seeing how many people go throught them and are cleaned once a day. The lake was wonderful. With lots of beaches to chose from. The lakes are sheltered which makes nice condition for paddle boarding and canoeing. It was very quiet at night, l loved that. I will be back. Don't forget to bring bug spray and sun screen.

One of the best Camping sites, with lots of hidden viewing spots.
Must visit spots - Stubbs falls, big bend.
People interested in Portaging must also visit this park. The river offers adventure, good views and overall a great experience.

It’s a beautiful park and amazing during the fall.
Best time to visit the first week of October, however we have been informed the leaves will start to fall mid October so plan your visits accordingly.
There’s so much to explore as there are many trials. We took the Stubb Falls trail and it was worth it.
Zahabia ZC — Google review
This is an excellent park, both summer and winter. Staff are great, fun trails to hike.
The markings need to be better near the waterfall. As many people go down stream and have made their own path which can be confused with the main path. This happens both in the winter and summer.
Love that they offer dog friendly camping and dog friendly beaches. Depending on the season, there are some sites that are close to a swampy zone, that can get washed out in heavy rains.
This is a great place to go in the winter, they have equipment rentals, snow shoeing is great here! The Ice and Fire event is a ton of fun.

I first visited Arrowhead PP in winter and it was magical. Was perfect weather with light flurries, and the snow was deep enough to need snowshoes so we had an enjoyable exercise. We rented cross-country skiing gear and gave it a try, and really enjoyed the experience. It’s a perfect place to spend a winter day, and it’s also one of the few Ontario provincial parks with rentals.

Very beautiful park, especially during autumn. It starts to get packed after 11 so recommended to go early if you're only planning a day trip. There are many beautiful trails and beach segments for a nice outdoor meals. Camping permits are limited so book ahead. Day pass costs 21 dollar at the time of my visit (2022 Oct)

It was an amazing experience with the place. We spent a whole day there and we had so much fun. We wanna go more times to spend few days over there for camping too. Definitely a nice place to spent time and doing activities. I would prefer for those who like to spend time in woods and lake.

This was our first time at Arrowhead Provincial Park. It was just as beautiful as the pictures I saw online. It was slightly challenging to find the beach as the signs weren't clear. We went early enough to secure a parking spot. The beach is a couple of minutes away from the parking lot. There are multiple beaches. The view reminded me of Lake Louise with the surrounding hills of trees and the gap in the middle where Arrow Lake runs through. Also, we stopped by Stubb Falls and trekked on the Stubb trail (1.1km trail). Highly recommend if you're looking for a park with views, a waterfall, and trails.

Love this provincial park, been camping there a few times.. the sites in roe campground are amazing.
They have 3 dog beaches, one a pet exercise area and it's beautiful.
The only downside about the pet exercise area is that some people decide to go there to fish and dock off their kayaks/canoes and it scares the dogs.

We rented a cabin here with our friends and it was a great experience. The cabin was around CAD 325 for three nights, so pretty reasonable for the facilities provided. There is a barbecue with connected gas line so, you can cook yourself. We also took a stove and didn’t need to buy any meals from outside. Lots of good walking trails, washrooms are pretty clean.

Great park!
It has several hiking and biking trails, a couple of lakes with beaches with a long shallow part (perfect for kids), and rentals.
It also has a small store with mostly souvenirs, but also some essentials like wood, ice, mosquito repellents, packaged coffee etc.
If you choose to camp here, keep in mind that regular campsites are available in different sizes - small, medium and large. On our medium size we could fit two family sized tents.
They all have picnic table or even two, and a fireplace.
There is also a comfort station, without laundry services though.

Had a great time visiting Arrowhead Provincial Park in the Fall. A great place to see the fall leaves!
One trail was closed but we completed all the others.
The lookout was incredibly beautiful, and very busy. I cannot wait to go back in the Winter!

Beautiful park for some winter activities! There is a rental shop for gear - note it gets busy and they were short for some common ski boot sizes when we went for a long weekend. The scenery in the park is beautiful all around and there is a decent amount of parking. The fire and ice skating trail is also super cool and magical at night. I'd love to come back in the summer someday.
You do have to buy a permit online up to 5 days in advance. For family day, the fire and ice day pass sold out within minutes of it opening, so if you want to go, do plan accordingly!

Though often overshadowed by the nearby Algonquin, this is a great provincial park on its own! The Big Bend is a famous outlook that is reminiscent of the one in Grand Canyon and very easy to get to with a good viewing platform. There are several hikes around different areas of the park seeing different environments, ranging from short and easy to longer and more difficult. Though we didn't camp there were campgrounds available and people camping even in the off season. It was a great stop for the afternoon, and well recommended by locals!

Bernice Emery — Google review
Loved this park! My partner & I visited early September 2023 during a heat wave actually and it was gorgeous. Easily a new favourite out of the muskoka region.
Pros: large private sites, clean amenities, lots of scenic hikes, multiple beaches, lots of dogs (dog beach + exercise area), great parks store, major area of Huntsville within 15 minutes for amenities/supplies.
Cons: literally the canoe/kayak/paddle board rental. This is directly off the beach area and you are required to lift the rentals over your head and onto the rental rack. Lucky my partner & I could help each other but if you’re a solo renter you might be struggling! Also lots of folks mention hearing highway noise from this park, there are several sites closer to the highway but the noise hardly transfers. It’s got both regular & radio free camping areas both of which get minimal noise in my opinion.
Lions Lookout is a scenic spot that offers stunning views of the surrounding hills and city below. During fall, the colorful foliage against the backdrop of blue skies and lake is truly breathtaking. However, it can be crowded during peak season and finding parking can be a challenge. To save time, it's recommended to park at the bottom of the hill and walk up to enjoy even more vibrant colors along the way.
Breathtakingly beautiful views!!!
Parking is free whether you park at the top or near the down hill. Small parking lot is available at the top however it gets full pretty fast. So better to park down the hill and walk to the lookout point. There is parking lot on the left side when you arrive. We parked down the hill and walked towards the lookout point. Lookout point is about 5-10 mins walk from down the hill parking lot. The hill is pretty steep. There are 2 roads towards the lookout point, on the right, there is a paved road and on the left hand side there is unpaved walking trail which goes through the trees. The views are fantastic along this trail. We walked up from an unpaved pathway up. Beautiful views to stop and click pictures.
Once you reach to the top you will see the Amazing views of fall colours, forest, town and lake. If you are here in the evening you can capture the beautiful Sunset too.
It gets really crowded in fall season. So plan your visit accordingly.
Overall Beautiful place to stop by when driving through Huntsville and enjoy and appreciate the beauty of fall colours.

The view of fall colours from this point is just mesmerizing..all the fall colours along with the blue sky and blue lake is just breathtaking.. but it’s really crowded in peak season and it’s really difficult to find the parking.. to save time and instead of spending it on finding the parking spot I recommend parking the car down the hill and walking up.. that way you can see more colours on the way up. :)

I drive my tiny-home-on-wheels but had to leave her (Wanda is her name) parked down at the base of this look out as there's no parking for large vehicles up at the look out....which isn't a problem if you don't have mobility issues....it's a five minute walk up/down...but if you DO have mobility issues, not really a place for you to visit (unfortunately). The view is beautiful though and every time I visit Huntsville I go up to enjoy it.
Elizabeth L — Google review
The view from uptop is beautiful. It's the perfect place to take a picnic and spend some time with your friends/family. It's pretty steep if you want to reach really down, wouldn't recommend it as it's slippery and not worth taking the risk as the view from top is way better. Definitely worth visiting.

Beautiful view of the city, lake and surrounding trees. You can either park near the train station and do the 5 minute, step, uphill walk or can drive all the way to the top. There is a red and white gazebo with lots of plaques showing how the view has changed.

Been coming here during fall season five years in a roll. More and more people get to know the place so definitely overcrowded on the weekends. Good amount of walking and climbing prepare you for the breathtaking view. Lions lookout over looks the scenery of the quiet town.

One of the most scenic place you will ever witness. Once you at the top you will experience the breathtaking views of lakes beautiful trees all around mountains. And this place is so peaceful in itself. There is a sufficient parking space all around at the top there are few spots but overall parking is free all around. But try to visit during week days to avoid the crowd and enjoy peace and calmness of the nature.
Must visit this naturally beautiful place if you ever passing through huntsville.

It’s a 3.5 rating to be exact. The place would look better either in summers or full on winters. Though, the view from the top is awesome. There is around 1-1.5km hike which is not tiring at all. Good place to fetch time for oneself and to find soothe.

Beautiful place to see Huntsville from up high, especially if you are visiting in the fall as the colours are beautiful. I visited this lookout two time in fall and early winter. Its Nov 1st and they have closed the lookout for cars but you can walk up there while parking at the bottom. The views are truly beautiful as you can see in the pictures, and the place is relaxing. This is a must see place while in Hunstville.

Loved the breathtaking view of the town and forest from the hill. Fall colors are just amazing from this point.
Close to 15 parking spots are available here. So if you are visiting on weekends during the fall season, you may not get parking easily. Another spot is a little down the hill, where there are enough parking spots available. But you will have to climb up the road. Multiple tables are available, so you can enjoy eating while appreciating the natural scenery.

Very beautiful town in Ontario,Canada. Natural beauty, well preserved heritage. One must visit.
Muskoka Heritage Place is a popular tourist spot that showcases a pioneer village which comprises preserved buildings from the past. The place houses an array of museums and also offers steam train rides for visitors to experience. It has leisure walking paths for those who love history and want to explore the beauty of this place. During winters, visitors can enjoy Eclipse Walk with Light featuring live music, hot beverages, french fries, and hot pastries while seated in multiple seating options available here.
Really cool to see the history preserved in the pioneer village and how they transported these old houses to create the mock village. Narrators very knowledgeable.
Wish there were more narrators/actors and or activities to make it more interactive.
Very quiet when we went.

Great place to visit in falls season. We went there on Thanksgiving long weekend of october. Our main purpose was to have a train ride for our 2 year old as she was very excited. As we reacged early morning by 11 am we had to wait only for 10 mins in queue to purchase tickets but when we came back from the ride there was a long queue. Train ride is very short less than a km. It stops after riding for about 5-10 mins, and then you have to ride back from the stop, which they call as train museum. The view from that stop is awesome, especially when fall colors are at peak. Tickets are about 6$ per adult. There is a village where we can roam afterward, but we skipped it as it started raining. Lot of parking space available. The Lions' lookout point of huntsville is just 3 mins away from there so you can cover both spots.

This place will walk you through the livings of early settlers in Muskoka. Ticket price was so affordable for adult $14-15. They have n number of activities for example, candle making, blacksmith activities. Moreover , they have old clothes to wear and to experience how was the old garments looks like and we can click the photos to capture the wonderful moments. Overall, I love this place . They have ample parking. Only thing I missed is the train ride as it was not on schedule on that day. My recommendation please see their activities and train schedule before your visit , I am attaching a picture of activities too but better call them or visit their website as they can change according to seasons . You will never regret by choosing this place.

The Algonquin Theatre is a mid-sized venue that hosts plays, concerts, and comedy shows. The establishment boasts of an exquisite architecture and excellent sound quality. However, some visitors have noted that the seats or arm space could be more spacious for audience comfort during events. Despite this minor setback, the theatre provides an incredible overall experience to guests attending its shows. Recently, many have enjoyed performances such as Mama Mia and watched bands like Washboard Union deliver exceptional concerts in the venue's hall.

Interesting historic site. The staff member on duty was extremely friendly and taught us a lot about the lock! One of the last manual locks left in Canada. We had the most wonderful day today. Such a beautiful location. Nestled in the most quaint valley.
The people there are so friendly and helpful. From the lady who did our tickets, to the knowledgable gentleman in the retail store, the super helpful and sweet lady in rentals, and the friendly lift attendant who smiles with her eyes. I love Hidden Valley. It’s where I’ve learned to ski and I am so happy each time I visit. I visited over reading break this year in February and it was amazing. I love the design — the lodge where you can sit and enjoy refreshments while watching the hill. The speedy lifts and intuitive planning. They also play fantastic music. When I visited I had forgotten to book rentals and was crestfallen after discovering that there were no rentals available that day. Fortunately, thanks to Chrissy and Jen I was able to have my day on the hill, and I even got to take a lesson too. Employees go above and beyond here, and it shows. Thank you for all the fantastic experiences and dutiful service to your customers. You have a loyal and enthusiastic customer here, I am counting the days until next season. Thank you!

I did the parent and tot lesson with my 5-year-old. It was a great experience from start to finish. Our instructor, Andrea, was enthusiastic and encouraging, and quickly put my daughter at ease. She gave me some helpful tips and by the end of the lesson, we were quite confident facing the hills on our own. A great experience!

It's a hidden gem! Perfect for family outings! Great friendly staff and very accommodating - by phone or in person. First visited in 2013 during the holidays season and been going ever since and made it a Family tradition!

Found this gem up in north with great design trails.
Very beautiful and quality of snow is great.
They have many lift and slope to choose from according to the skill level.
This place is must visit for your upcoming trip.

It is pretty nice but there are a lot of downsides. There are always very little hills that can be skied on and very little lifts. This makes the lines super long and it’s not worth it. The staff is horribly rude, especially the ski instructors. Would not recommend. There is also very little parking, so you have to park super far away. The staff in the parking lots are condescending.
We recently completed a landscaping project with Sandhill. We can’t say enough good things - they are excellent.
They came for a spring consultation and mocked up various projects for us to consider, along with pricing them individually given we had a limited budget. On install day, they arrived on site with a big crew to ensure everything was finished in a day. I especially appreciated the care they took around existing landscaping, tarps for compost and mulch on our driveway, etc. The plant prices are pretty comparable to Home Depot but the plants/trees are so much larger and healthier. And the labour costs were very reasonable. They made it easy.
I would highly recommend them and we're hoping to have them back again in the future for additional work.

What a lovely place. Been here early morning. They have decorated the whole place with pumpkins nicely. They have gift shop too has many varieties of gifts.

We were introduced to this amazing garden centre when we moved here. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and the products are all top quality. They planted a bunch of trees we bought from them a few years ago and the trees are all thriving - so much so, that we just bought more! The winter workshops are fun as well as the autumn festival. This is one of our fav places !

Such a nice place to visit with the family, especially kids between 3-10. Lots to do for kids, but also they have beautiful stores, seating areas, even a stage for performers and food trucks. If you are visiting Huntsville in the fall they also have a fall festivalbnd everything decorated to commemorate autumn. I would definitely recommend it.

A delightful place for purchasing nursery stock. A basic playground with slide for younger guests. I commend this business for building a beautiful complex. We always enjoy a "Christmas store" in the log cabin

Horrible experience ordering compost this spring. Paid $250 for a yard of compost and yard of soil. Delivered product is terrible quality - large chunks with consistency of concrete. Does not break down with water or heat. I can stand on pieces that still won't crumble! Totally unusable in garden beds, greenhouse or pots. Management wouldn't even call me back when i reported the issue. Terrible experience, especially considering the high cost. After 20 years I'll be looking elsewhere from now on!

Quite the place. Very large and we enjoyed our visit here.

I went here looking for organic soil. Woman didn't really want to talk to me or help me out with any questions. Only thing she would do is keep repeating, " I cannot garentee our soil is organic"... I asked several questions trying to find out what's in the soil and she would only repeat the same thing. " I cannot garentee our soil is organic" now, how do you run a garden center and not know what you're selling?.. only thing she could offer was some frozen solid bag soil from outside and a bunch of decorations for the house. I left
Visited the Hunters Bay trail in the morning rain break, came here in the afternoon rain break. Walked the very short trail on the west side of the river, then went up to the dock. The Swing bridge was magnificent. The river view was beautiful. The Main street, the town hall, the church and the murals were picturesque.

We've been visiting Huntsville and areas for countless years now and only recently did we discover this little spot. It's actually quite neat and a great way to spend a part of your day relaxing and doing some swimming. Just watch though as you slide down the falls there tends to be lots of little leeches lol. It's a nice somewhat hidden little area that's not too busy but is apparently well known.

Very nice scenic spot for a local water catchment area with some flowing water. Not really a waterfall but more like a lake floating into a river.
Good spot for some pictures, has some open parking area (not marked as parking) , a metal walkway to cross over the floating water fishing underneath you, which was great.
Did not have much of a crowd during noon , only some friendly locals taking a walk with their pets.

A great hidden gem of Port Sydney. Lots of room for visitors and tons of water space to play in. Nice and close to other great stops Jamieson's General Store, Marty's Lakeside Grill.

A must visit place if you are near Muskoka. A good and rare sight… recommended for fall place to visit with a little sunny weather and you would find peace. So serene and beautiful.

Natural water slides! Can easily stay a whole day here exploring the area and playing in the water. Loved checking out the General store and Consignment store nearby. The water was fast moving and dangerous today after heavy rains so we played on the side where the current is gentler. Excited to return one day and play in the water when it is safer for us. Adults should even wear a lifejacket on the big falls, but the side section felt safe for us today. There is a single outhouse. At least that's something.

Perfect place ..perfect scenery. Amazing place to relax and chill with family . Portable bathroom is also available. Falls water was running very fast today so we choose to sit on the side . It has Little Rock sitting environment by nature, which was fantastic. Some rocks are slippery so be careful while walking around the water falls . Overall, this place is very nice for visiting.

Falls were amazing. It was very pleasant. Not too many people. Found a very nice spot to sit down and enjoy the weather and bake in the sun. This is a hidden gem.
Perfect family outing. Parking for only like 7-8 cars, but you can park around the area.
Will be back again.

Wow what a nice little waterfall. Water was bit rough. Dont know how secure this place to have a dip. This place is good and more popular for fishing. Limited parking available and will have access only through Ontario St. One temporary washroom was available. If you are around Port Sydney area, this is one of the best place to see.
Canvas Brewing Company is a vibrant community hub and the newest craft brewery in Muskoka, opening its doors in the spring of 2020. The taproom boasts two stunning waterfront patios, 20 beer taps, a snack menu, weekly trivia and live music events, as well as monthly workshops and local art displays. Additionally, it features a spacious event space popular for corporate events and weddings.
Awesome place to visit while in Huntsville. The rooftop patio is really cool and they have about 18 beers to choose from. They also sell branded apparel, wine, cocktails, liquor, etc. I got to try 4 different beers in a flight and they were quite good. Specially the "Cranberry Marzen". Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Huntsville.

Update (added 3 photos), 2nd trip here was fantastic as well, never disappoints!

Great beer and relaxed atmosphere. You can bring food in from the outside food truck/mobile vendor. Great selection of beers to try at a reasonable price. Recommend to visit.

First time trying this place. Went just to get some beer to take home. Tasty! Would go back the next time we're in town and the next time we'll bring food... We were told we can bring whatever we want to eat from other establishments as long as we enjoy Canvas' beer. Awesome concept. The space is comfortable and perfect for gathering with friends!

One can of Rockskip travelled all the way to TBay ON and now am looking at having a case shipped up. 🤤 What a nice light refreshing sour beer. Perfect for a day on the ice or any other moment you feel the need to drink an amazing beer

Nice little brewery in Huntsville, a short distance away from Arrowhead Provincial park.
Decided to stop by after a small hike from the Lions Lookout point and grabbing supplies. We grabbed a flight of drinks of their most popular. The drinks are numbered starting from 1 ( their most popular) downward. The original and ember Red ale was my favourite.
To go with the drinks, we grabbed pretzels. This was perfect because it already comes with 2 pieces. Made to order in 10 minutes and it was delicious with drinks!
Prices are fair, and I overheard staff saying can bring outside food! This place is a brewery and focuses on drinks, with light snacks. I was surprised when I heard this. The area is large and roomy and quite laid back.
I would return for another visit.

Clean and modern and well presented. Knowledgeable staff and a varied beer selection on offer. Two food take out places are run out of sea cans on the parking lot outside and another the other side of the building by the patio (fox in the henhouse). One was a Thai place can't remember what the other one was but they all looked pretty good. Definitely a nice spot to stop in for a beer. Saw what looked like a guy-with-a-guitar setup for some live music later. Wasn't playing on a Friday night at 7pm though. (it closes at 10).

Have stopped here a few times and bought beer to carry out. Have decided whenever passing by I will continue to buy their beer. Great selection and excellent brewing. They have a roof top patio as well as inside bar. I strongly recommend that you stop here. Thanks to the Canvas gang. 👍👍

This was my first time here. It was just a quick stop in for a pint or two, so that is why only a 4 star. It most likely is 5 star worthy place, and I will change my review after my next visit...because I will definitely be back. The beer I tried, Back Trail and Blackbird were excellent and I grabbed some to go too and my wife loved the Copperhead Pie cocktail. The atmosphere was nice, the size, cleanliness, decor was great. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back to try some more beer and munchies.

Great place to chill after a long hike.
They a have a large variety of beers.
If you like larger and light beers, theirs are really good.
We particularly prefer strong ales (IPA's style), porters and stouts; and we didn't find them as good as other places we have visited
Regardless, we had a great time and enjoyed some of their board games available.
Also it is pet friendly

Amazing brewery. Excellent event space.
Whether you’re hosting a party or you’re looking for a gem of a wedding venue, I highly recommend booking Canvas's event space.
My husband and I rented it for a wedding party a couple of weeks ago and it was an absolute hit with our friends and family. Plus, we barely needed to decorate since it’s a perfect combo of crisp, clean, and cozy on its own.
Thanks again to Linda, our bartenders, and the team at Canvas Brewing for making it a wonderful evening!

The place had a great vibe and offered good service. One thing to note is that it's best to bring your own food, as they don’t serve food (Pizza across the street).
So much fun! It was better than I expected. Great value for the price. Kids under 12 are free, and parking is free. Not only were the displays beautiful, but they were interactive as well. The kids had a blast and got a lot of fresh air and exercise at the same time.

This was included with the deerhurst package. The weather is warm and snow started to melt and the path is very muddy with a lot of water puddle. It’s a nice shirt and kids enjoyed it. Please make sure to reserve online before going.

Tickets at the gate are only 5$ per person. It was a cool experience for the price and you can walk around more than once. Alot of the lights are interactive and the voices over the speakers are an interesting touch. It took me about 30 - 45 minutes to walk through, experience each display and take photos.

Visited this place during our Muskoka Trip. Great way to explore the lights and sound show. On the day we visited, there was live music. We enjoyed this a lot along with wood-fire. Food stall with Hot Chocolate and Pastries. Parking is available across the street.

A really beautiful light event to spend your evening winter walks on. Really interesting instalments with voice-over poetry surrounding the event, ice sculptures, goat walks and a fire at the central to stay warm. It’s a fun experience that’s very affordable! Great idea for families and dates 😌

Fun park on the water near downtown Huntsville. just seconds walk from the main street.. there are some play structures for kids but also lots of docks to enjoy the water and watch boats go by. There are tons of restaurants adjacent to it.. Boston Pizza with fantastic patio on the other side of the River, On the Docks Pub that overlooks the docks and the river, or you can get a Gelato from Affogato cafe and enjoy it on the docks.. relaxing place.. but gets very busy. Also parking is limited so you might have to park up the road and walk back down.

A little more care for some roadwork and pathways and this would be such a pretty little spot for a picnic or a little boardwalk stroll which ends up to the main street with shops etc.

Our family had a lovely time walking goats this afternoon. The goats were happy, charming, and clearly well-loved. This will definitely be the highlight of our Huntsville vacation. My only regret is that I didn't take enough pictures ❤️🐐❤️

What an incredible experience!! Who knew walking goats was a thing? Cause I didn't, and I'm obsessed with goats! My boyfriend surprised me with this amazing adventure and I'm so glad he did. If your looking for a mood lifter, this is definitely the place to go.
The woman that runs this cute little business was very kind and down to earth. As we walked the trail she taught us some pretty interesting facts about goats and what to expect from owning one.
If you're in the area of Muskoka/ Huntsville this is definitely a stop you should make.

Whatever floats your goat...yes we really did walk goats on our vacation. This excursion was by far a highlight of our recent trip to Huntsville. Stephanie & her daughter were just wonderful as they introduced us to their wonderful family of goats. And they have 33 of them! We each had one to walk, which was very special for each of us as they all have their own personalities. Our family had the absolutely best time getting to know these guys.
