Oxbow Public Market is a 40,000 square foot marketplace located in downtown Napa that offers a variety of local food options as well as artisanal cafés. The market is heavily involved in the local agricultural community and supports sustainable agriculture practices.
Most interesting shopping in the area. The "market" is a bunch of smaller shops all open together offering gourmet food, produce, prepared food, meat, cheese, olive oil, spirits, home goods, beer and wine, rose slushies, seafood, pizza - the list goes on forever. If you're looking for a quick bite, fun gifts or souvenirs, or specialty gourmet groceries, this is the place for you. We had to take two tours through to see everything and I think we still missed a lot. Bustling energetic place!

We went on a weekday. There was plenty of parking, both by the market and across the street. They do share the lot with The Culinary Institute of America, so I would imagine that if there was an event it might fill up.
Inside the market there are a couple dozen vendors/restaurants that share the space to sell their wares. It was like a mini farmer's market with fruits, veggies, cheeses, meats, spices, and small gifts. There was indoor and outdoor seating for the restaurants. Prices were on the higher side.
Also, if you have small children, I would imagine that you would have to keep an eye on them because everything is displayed in a way that just makes you want to pick it up or at least touch it.
Check their website for current offerings, specials, and events. There is also a path behind the market that you can walk along part of the Napa River.
Also, like I mentioned, they are right across the parking lot from the CIA (Culinary Institute of America). If you have any foodies in your family, this is a really neat place to check out. They have a free culinary museum with all kinds of interesting kitchen gadgets.

This market has variety of places to try and eat different foods. I think that this place is overrated. Many of the options are expensive. There is many great restaurants and places to try in Napa and have good food. The only place which is I would recommend could be the French bakery in oxbow public market.

The Oxbow Public Market is a fun place to visit in Napa. No matter if you wanna get lunch, dinner, ice cream, shopping for souvenirs, seasoning, or groceries. You will find something you want to buy.
Oxbow Public Market has had more and more dining options available in recent years. Some of them are very popular. It often has a long line or a long wait for a table. The market is super crowded on the weekends or holidays too!

What a great place diverse tenant mixture of local food vendors, artisan cafes and an organic produce outlet for local farms. Situated along the Napa river. Try “casa” for good Mexican food.

Lots of variety with many vendors selling food, crafts, wine, cupcakes, chocolate, fresh produce, and more. Great stop for breakfast or lunch or for souvenirs like local jams and honey. Next to Culinary Arts which is excellent stop too.

Small indoor market. Many different food options to choose from. It can get pretty crowded but you can still walk around and explore. The market is a bit overpriced but everything seems fresh.

Great market with variety of selections. Chocolate boutique, oven wood fire pizza, hog island, organic super market, tacos, fried chicken, home made ice cream. You name it, they have it here. I enjoy all the local food here/ great spot!

Visiting Napa in a weekend in search of great food, but without reservations anywhere, can be a tough situation.
Fortunately there's Oxbow Market and the food stalls contained within. All sorts of choices such as sushi, BBQ, fresh oysters, tacos, deli sandwiches, great coffee, and more. There's a lot to like here.

This is really an essential stop in downtown Napa. It has a grocer, as well as many small shops that sell sea food, sushi, cheese, and olive oil. I would recommend anyone stopping in the downtown area to go to Oxbow

Something for everyone here. Vendors line the aisles of this indoor market. A deli, wood fire pizza place, cupcakes, veggie market, fish/meat market, chocolates and much more. There is free parking on-site but it does get very busy. Definitely a unique experience that draws a large crowd.

Oxbow is a for sure highlight of my Napa trip! All the restaurants and grocery items are definitely picked by someone with great taste. Everything is presented in a beautiful way and all the disposable cups and utensils are compostable. The variety is excellent and has everything from poke to Jewish deli. Come early because parking can be challenging! Staff is friendly and the whole place is clean, I highly recommend.

Nice food hall with various food vendors ranging from pizza, seafood, cheese, sushi, Mexican, chocolate, cupcakes, empanadas, olive oil and alcohol to name a few. They also have a produce market and book store. There is seating both indoor and outdoors. Don’t forget to explore around Oxbow for Model bakery, Laperts ice cream and Gotts. Parking can be difficult during peak hours and during the weekend. Small restroom area for a large area.

Vibrant public market with some good places to eat inside. There is also a nice olive oil and spices shop with real good collection of things.
Plenty of parking available next to the market

Nice marketplace that has a wide variety of restaurants, boutique souvenir shops, bakeries, and many other offerings. 5-minute walk from the Westin Verasa, and also a 5-minute walk across the bridge to the other side of Napa downtown.

Fun place to visit. Crowded and various food choice. But it is relatively small if you expecting something like Chelsea Market in NYC or Reddings market in Philly.

What a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy with friends. Great food and drinks. Many vendors that supply fresh ingredients for their dishes. Farm fresh groceries are also available. A must for locals and visitors. Can get pretty busy. Come early.

I was strolling through to visit some friends in Sacramento. Saw this on things to do and decided to come see what it was about. It is a cute little public market. However it is pretty tiny and pricey. I did buy a few things to gift to family and friends. However those three things in the picture cost almost $20. Max someone would spend here if they're not drinking or eating is probably 30 minutes.

Totally recommend, lots of food, affordable prices, love the pizzas, argentinian empanadas and chimichurri, lots of wine, cheese, chocolate, lots of fun!

It had a variety of stores most of which were selling food from ice cream, to Japanese food, booba tea and pizza. It's a very small place with a seating area.
The di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art is a beautiful, 200-acre museum with a variety of contemporary art on display. The museum's location overlooking the picturesque landscape of Napa Valley makes it an ideal place to enjoy new artwork by regional artists.
What a unique museum in wine country.
Beautiful museum loved sculpture garden
Staff knowledgeable and attentive.
If you have time stop in for a stroll!

It's a small museum / museums cause there are two of them within a mile surrounded by scenic beauty and a picturesque lake.
There are wineries surrounding the area, which makes it look even cooler. There is a shuttle service for free between the two museums. The museums aren't great but it's not bad for one time visit. 20$ with the scenery doesn't seem like a bad package

Very cool, colorful, small art museum in Napa. The shuttle takes you from the front to the back gallery. There is a big outdoor sculpture garden as well but it was raining when we went so didn't get the chance.

Beautiful break from Napa and Sonoma wine tastings. Also good to do on rainy day in two large indoor exhibition spaces though there is plenty of outdoor sculpture to stroll through in fine weather too. Staff is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and ready to share rich history and emphasis on local artists and style. Exhibits are changed every three to four months to showcase more local artists so it’s always fresh and interesting. Easy to get to between Napa and Sonoma right along the highway.

So beautiful, the sculptures and art work are funky and interesting. It made me smile. The place is beautiful and the shuttle takes you to the other sections. The entrance in $17.00 dollars if you are student or military. The staff is so kind and helpful. I loved everything about it.

O'Brien Estate Winery is a family-operated vineyard situated on a 40-acre estate in Oak Knoll District. The winery offers reservation-only tours and tastings for guests to enjoy their amazing collection of wines with scenic views of the vineyard. The ambiance is laid back, without fancy settings like other wineries, but the experience more than makes up for it. Visitors can engage in outdoor chats with knowledgeable guides while sipping on excellent wine from this boutique winery.
O’Brien Estate Winery was an amazing experience! An embodiment of what Will Guidara is saying in his book “Unreasonable Hospitality”. Every interaction was positive and our host Chris was so knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to. The estate is beautiful and the wines are beautifully unique. One of our favorite spots from our trip and we look forward to coming back.

As many have said this place and their wines do not disappoint. We spent our time on the area divided between the highly marketed, “well known” vineyards and others we have never tried but read or heard good things. When we arrived we were greeted by a great team and the Max took over. His knowledge, sense of humor and perfect balance between storytelling and leaving us alone was amazing. We spent just over 2 hours there, not rushed and enjoyed every minute. The farm is so cool, the “pets” are hysterical. You won’t be disappointed.

Max was very personable in sharing his knowledge about the winery and the family with us. He seemed to love the winery and the history behind it. We began with a walk through the vineyard while enjoying a glass of wine. We were made to feel as friends visiting friends. The tasting took place in a relaxed setting in the vineyard. The whole experience was awesome and I highly recommend it!!

We visited O’Briens on a bike tour of wineries in Napa. It wasn’t a winery that I had read about in any guidebooks or websites, and we went because it was convenient for the bike route. I’m so pleased we did, and it was the best experience we had at a winery. The surroundings were beautiful, the wine was excellent, and the staff were great. I can’t compliment Ben, who showed us around, enough. As well as being knowledgeable, he was friendly, and made the experience feel very personalised. He also didn’t judge us about the fact we knew nothing about wine. Thanks to the whole team, it was one of the highlights of our trip.

Ok I have nothing but glowing things to say about this vineyard.
1) the property is gorgeous. Situated around the vineyards and with mountain views it’s such a relaxing environment.
2) the relaxing atmosphere. My friend and I did a wine tasting that was held outside with comfy chairs, blankets, heating lamp, and soft music. You got to take in the scenery while relaxing and sipping on wine.
3) everyone was so friendly and so helpful. Attentive. Knowledgeable. Personable. Funny. Such a welcoming environment.
4) all the wine were super delicious. Interesting mix of red wines. Highly recommend everyone to try the Seduction red!
5/5 stars, highly recommend to visit on your trip to Napa

Amazing staff..the Winery made the visit so personable ...the small details presented to us (won't share the details - you will see for yourself) truly made us feel like a guest in there home... We had the pleasure of having James as our Wine Educator..his enthusiasm and love of the Winery and his HIGH REGARDS to the Owner Bart and Barb made it soo enjoyable to hear someone talk about a passion of theirs.
We literally decided NOT to go to any other Winery after this experience! Will definitely pass on this Gem!

I cannot say enough nice things about this winery. First of all, this was hands down the best and most personal tasting we did in all of Napa Valley. They try different wines with you one on one, but never in a pressuring way. It truly feels like you are family, and they have bent over backwards to accommodate us. We joined their wine club because it was the first place we saw where you got to customize your alllocation and choose what you want every quarter. They have been so friendly everytime we have needed something. One of our logo’d glasses broke in transit back from our honeymoon, and I inquired about purchasing a replacement, and they sent a whole new pair with our bottles. Their stewards are so knowledgeable and you receive a warm newsletter every quarter with details on the company, which again makes it feel like family. Their customer service is quick to respond and so helpful. I would honestly give this place 1,000 stars if I could. It’s rare these days to see a company value their customers and their employees and this brand truly does that. Many Napa experiences are crowded and basically factory tours. A visit to this estate will be truly unique - you cannot miss it!

I honestly can't say enough about how amazing this place is. Just 10 minutes from downtown napa. The 43 acre vineyard is charming inside and out from the moment you pull up. Jason our sommelier was wonderful by being knowledgeable funny and interesting while walking us through all the wines. Sitting outside in the comfy chairs sipping delicious wine looking out over the vines is the perfect way to spend the day. Book way in advance cause this place fills up fast.

Worst bottle of wine I ever (didn't) have. I have never seen a cork so dry and brittle - it crumbled into little pieces when I tried to open the bottle. I don't think it sealed properly either, because the inside of the bottle had some sort of dark crud residue. (I would upload pics if I could.)

Just amazing. James was so personable and made this experience 💯. If you want the true Napa experience, this is it. You’ll feel like you’re in the heart of Italy. The owners take a very boutique approach, and you feel like you’ve been personally invited to someone’s estate. The pairings were amazing and the seduction wine especially was delicious. Thank you for making our getaway that much better! Make your reservations ahead of time, the cost will be worth it!

If you are looking for a personal and inviting vineyard experience while in Napa, then you must book a tasting at O'Brien! My partner and I visited during a heat wave and they were very accommodating to make sure we were comfortable but still had an unforgettable experience by moving the tasting inside. Marilyn was truly better than we could have asked for. After a few tastings that weekend, she was the most delightful of the mix and gave us the best recommendations and stories. Make sure to check out all the lovely animals the O'Brien's have on site!

This winery accommodated my group after a mishap left us with no winery reservations in the area on our trip. They were kind, knowledgable and made the experience well worth our time despite us not being on the schedule. Jamie from Priority Wine Pass recommended Judd’s Hill. This is a small winery that produces 3000 cases. It is a beautiful setting as you look out upon two different farmers vineyards. It is rather interesting as the vineyards are planted in exactly opposite directions. We tasted grapes directly from the vine in both vineyards. Our host was friendly and knowledgeable. The wines were good.

Great wineries! It was a blast to come over for their wine tasting!
We were introduced about how the wines were made, the fire, and the contacts the winery made with the farmers. Such a great amount of knowledge!
The wines here were extremely good. The Chardonnay and the white wines were pretty standard, with some of the mixing ones standing out as having a great ore&after taste. The ones I like the most were the 2011 mix, as it gave a little bit of bitterness initially, but it went away quickly to leave on the fruit flavors. The popular rose was fine, but a little sour and not outstanding for me.
The estate was fantastic. It was definitely a very good made with little taste of alcohol, but yet you can tell the wine was deep and strong. The fruit ness of the grape mixed really well with everything else, giving you a great aroma as well as the richness of the grape - simply a condensed feeling.
We had a fun blind tasting event suggested by the staff. We enjoyed it a lot and were offered with some sweet wines later on! Their sweet wine was on point, not as sweet as the ice wines I had in Canada so I bought two back.
Fantastic experience in a great yard. Love it a lot!

My husband and I had a tasting booked with CJ on Halloween. It was our first stop in Napa and I am so glad that was the case! She was such a sweet woman and taught us so much during our tasting, from why you hold the glass by the stem, to why you swirl the wine before you drink it, and what foods bring out which elements in the wine.
We had a wonderful experience and found ourselves thinking back to CJ at other wineries when they’d hand us a glass by the bowl or try to sell a bottle that needs to sit for another 6 months ;)
We left with a much better understanding of how to pair our food to our wines to bring out the elements we like best. I can’t recommend the tasting experience at Judd’s Hill enough!

We visited Napa Valley for the first time and want to visit several wineries. We visited Jarvis the first day and 3 others the next day. We made reservations weeks in advance which is recommended. They were all different and all had their pros and cons. Jarvis was very unique with the winery underground. It was very classy and upscale. The wines were very good but also out of our price range.
Our tour guide (forgot her name) was excellent! Very informative and very friendly.

Jarvis is one of the best wineries / tours we have ever been on. We've been members here off/on - no doubt about it - it IS exclusive and expensive. But it is oh, so worth it. This is an experience that is worth the tasting fee. The estate is magnificent, the doors into the caves simply breathtaking and the caves themselves are just..... there are no words. OK - maybe.... Magnificent. We have never been disappointed here. I don't know what was going on with some of these negative reviews, but for us - every time has been beyond amazing. Nestled in a ridge in beautiful Napa, this winery actually extends over 1300 acres in different locations near the cave. I promise you, you will never experience such unique time with the guided tour. $100 will get you the experience of the guided tour full of details about the history of the owners and how they acquired such property back in the 80's. Their unconventional methods of producing wine is what makes them so unique and interesting. The tour consists of taking you inside the man made cave where they explain their wine producing methods, a showcase of their gathering room for private parties and of course the wine testing which is very private, and informative. You are placed in a room with cheese and crackers and six empty glasses at which time, the guide will start with the first wine, explaining the characteristics of it as she is serving it. For each subsequent wine the guide will do the same, placing attention and care to each wine. At the end of the tour you can purchase a bottle. These are high end bottles of wine I highly recommended it follow me and my adventures ig @sin_aguayo_canelito

Our absolute favorite Estate Winery in the Napa region. If your in the area and are a true wino this place is a must.
They are reservation only and definitely on the pricey side, but its well worth it. Came here in March for a private tour and had a great time.
The Wine cellar itself is located in a man-made cave located in one of the hills on the estate.
The cellar is huge, cool, and something I've never seen before.
Now as for the wine, there all delicious. Your tasting is paired with a yummy French imported goat cheese, crackers, and assorted nuts.
The wine tour guide was fantastic and taught us not only about the property, its history, and wines; but also wine history and pairing it.
Overall a must if your in Napa, cheers!

Trefethen Family Vineyards is a delightful local winery situated in serene surroundings that offers tours, tastings and events. Its charming interior woodwork and vast grounds add to the historic ambiance of this winery. Trefethen's signature wines are their superb estate Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Noir. By far my favorite wine tasting we had in Napa. We chose the food pairing and tasting and we got to hear from the sous chef about each dish before it was served. The wine consultant was so knowledgeable and answered every single question. The experience felt so intimate but also luxurious like they rolled out the red carpet just for us. The food was incredible and I came to learn that I surprisingly like red wines. Highly recommend.

My wife and I went here for a late afternoon tasting. We really enjoyed this place as it has a very old world Spanish feel to it. The gardens are stunning, and if you book ahead of time, and can do your tasting in the family home, it is well worth it. This venue have a 90 year old sequoia tree, beautiful flowering gardens, a well rounded veggie garden, beautiful fountains, and birds that are constantly chirping/singing. My wife and I did the cheese and wine tasting, but I know this venue also has a garden meal & tasting, which from looking around at our fellow wine goers, also looked very tasty. Great Experience, especially if you are an outdoor lover.

My family and I came here as part of my 21st birthday celebration. Hands down one of the BEST parts of our trip!!! Michael was the MOST incredible tour guide and really made our experience so special. It was intimate, catering to what we wanted to learn more about, and genuinely just so enjoyable and fun. Michael had thoughtful, impressive, and sometimes hilarious answers for every question we could think of and we were especially amazed by the section of our tour where he explained to us how the vines grow from cane to fruit and back around again. He was such a wealth of knowledge, and had apparent passion for what he does--we were learning about things we didn't even know there was to be learned! The entire tour was incredibly interesting, unique, and fun. We could have spent all day hanging out with Michael as he drove us through the vineyards, pulled out his tool kit to show us how the vines are grown (which we were particularly interested in!), gave us wine to taste in the mustard field, walked us through their facilities explaining how the wine is then made, and chatted with us further in the beautiful tasting room as we sipped on incredible tasting wines!!
Trefethen's vineyards and overall property is beautiful and the people there were all wonderful. We have nothing but amazing things to say about Trefethen, Michael, and the wines we tasted. 100/10 experience and we would love to come back again some day!

On this, our first trip to Napa, there were wineries we expected to enjoy when we visited and wines we expected to love. But none were as much a happy surprise as Trefethen. My wife’s comment sums it up nicely: “Wow, I love EVERY one of these wines!” Not only were the wines wonderful, but the experience (@The Villa) was beautiful and extremely enjoyable, thanks in no small part to our host Gregg (Thanks Gregg!).
We were celebrating our 30th anniversary with this trip and Trefethen treated us very well. Beautiful grounds, great wines, great pours (with some off-menu - Halo!), great service and a lovely paired charcuterie board. And to top it off, Trefethen has some of the most affordable pricing on their bottles - even better with member pricing. I’m sure we’ll always have some bottles on hand now.
Make Trefethen a stop on your Napa visit!

I am so excited to write this post because it was that amazing! We randomly came across this winery and are so glad we did. Obsessed is the one word I would use to sum up the experience. The atmosphere is so comfortable and welcoming, the vineyard is beautiful, the owners and staff are so friendly, but I must give a HUGE shout out to one of their hostesses. Since the first time we came to Trefethen Carrysa Bird made us feel very welcome and it was very apparent that she was very knowledgable of not only the vineyard, but of every single wine she introduced to us. She is very charismatic so you can't help but love her. Whenever we make a reservation for a wine tasting we always make sure to request her as our hostess. The Trefethen family is very lucky to have her. I can't say enough about how terrific Trefethen Family Vineyard is so you'll just have to try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Our Trefethen Vineyard Tour & Tasting with Michael was the highlight of our trip! Michael was so knowledgeable and welcomed all of our questions. Getting to hear about and see some of the process from seed to vine to grape to glass was exciting! Followed by a wonderful tasting it was the best morning!

Absolutely outstanding! We had a wine tasting with snacks and just wow. The person (dedicated guy but I am sorry I forgot the name - he is Welsh) was amazing! The wines were fantastic, the food was delicious and the history behind the vineyard is impressive. Was the best vineyard that we visited in Napa valley and now we are enjoying the wines that we brought back at home. Our favourites were Katie’s Acre and Cab Sav 2018.

Loved all the Halloween decor mixed in throughout! This was my favorite winery we visited because the property was simply stunning - they have cork trees too! We did the twilight tasting and it was such a wonderful experience. The food was deciduous and paired perfectly with our wines. Our guides were fabulous as well and really made the experience so much better! We will be back!

Just finished tasting at Trefethen Family Vineyards and had an amazing time! We did the "Reserve Tasting at The Villa" and are glad we did.
The wine was great, the charcuterie was great and our guide Carrysa was great! We really enjoyed each of the wines and had to bring many of them home with us.
We highly recommend Trefethen for not only the wine but also the experience.

My friend and I stopped in for our very first vineyard experience yesterday. Even though we got there just before they closed we were still greeted with a taste of a red and a white wine and some wonderful history. We were granted the opportunity to wander around and take a few photos of where they used to keep the barrels before the earthquake and their indoor tasting room. So beautiful! Thank you especially to the two ladies that helped us and and we're so welcoming!
Artesa Vineyards & Winery, located at 1345 Henry Rd., offers a complimentary glass of sparkling wine to visitors upon arrival. The winery is situated on a hilltop and boasts a unique design - the top of the highest point on their property was removed, a winery was inserted, and the grass was replanted on top to resemble a half-submerged submarine.
Went to the tasting today with some great friends who live out in the area. The entire experience was well worth the trip. Beautiful landscapes and a great selection of wines.

We visited on a Tuesday afternoon with our baby. No reservation. We sat outside on the terrace with our stroller though there was also space indoors for us as well. There is a handicap accessible entrance/elevator. We were happy to find a family-friendly tasting room. The views were out of this world. I recommend visiting just before sunset as you’ll see in the photos — it was gorgeous. The wine was enjoyable, but you’re really here for the view. $60 tasting fee waived with the purchase of 4 bottles.

Artesa is a must-visit gem in Napa! 🌟 Nestled in the picturesque Los Carneros region, this winery is a little slice of Spain right in California's backyard.🍷
The views alone will take your breath away - rolling hills, the shimmering San Pablo Bay, and even a peek at the Golden Gate Bridge in the distance! It's a sight to behold.
Step inside and you're greeted by the lively energy of the bar. But the real magic happens when you move outdoors, soaking up the warm sunshine and taking in the stunning vistas from every angle.
Our fantastic host Jordi made the experience unforgettable! His passion for the estate-grown artisan wines and knowledge of the unique terroir was infectious. Plus, he was just an all-around lovely person!
Trust me, if you're looking for a fun, beautiful, and delightfully different winery experience in Napa, Artesa is the place to be! Raise a glass of their Spanish-style Tempranillo or the superb Pinot Noir and savor the moment - you won't regret it.

Cool spot that almost looked like an airport lounge with a fantastic view, in between the hills separated but a infinity pool. On a beautiful today, I'm sure the reelection of the sky in the water would be really pretty.
Wide selection to try starting with sparkling down to reds. We needed to rush the end because they didn't have enough staff and we needed to go. The server had to run around to cover the whole table, honestly felt so bad for him.
Then we ended up having to chug the last red . This was the most comfortable seating out of all of them with really pretty architecture and decor. If you wanted to buy some art, they have a little gallery as well
Just don't expect to learn a lot about the wines

My boyfriend and I did the tapas and wine and it was so much fun! All of the wines we tasted were amazing and you could tell they were great quality. I was pretty tipsy by the end haha. I would for sure come back next time I’m in town, this was my favorite winery we went to. The staff was very nice and the tour was interesting and cool to see the behind the scenes of it all.

Stunning view and so beautiful vineyard! The only issue I experienced is that they were short staffed the day I went and instead of doing wine tasting they asked me to do wine by the glass because there are no enough staff. But overall experience was great.

Artesa is a splendid architectural experience that’ll be great for anyone into stylistic buildings. The views are amazing as well.
I’m pretty far from an experienced wine connoisseur, but their spanish carbenet stood out to me in the tasting session.
Charcuterie board was average at best, and they don’t have any meal options so I’ll strongly advice planning a meal before / after a tasting session

Stunning property. For the price though, they serve SIPS. I think they were busy with a party that was happening later that evening. But we paid about $250 and for that amount (we did get bread and ham which was delicious) the wine pouring was not enough. This was our 4th winery of the trip and view wise again / truly spectacular but for the price I would think a little more wine in each tasting should have been a given… the biggest difference is that they don’t bring out the bottle and pour the wine at your table… felt like a very small amount of wine.

Beautiful, tucked away winery with views outside and great wine! I'm not a Merlot gal, but the Merlot was my favorite!! Sylvia was so knowledgeable and hospitable during the tasting. And the hostess at the front door was so friendly and welcoming! I'll definitely be back.

I took 10 of my customers to this winery and had a wine tasting appointment. My tour guide introduced me to the individual that was going to take care of us and explained that I was the one paying for this and everything must go through me. He shows up to the table and tries to get my group to upgrade on the wine tasting. I argued with him 5 times telling him what I wanted and he just wanted us to upgrade. Finally got him to agree to what I wanted. He came and pored the wine and we had to ask 2 times what it was he was pouring. He came back one time and tried to get us to buy food and told him no for the 6th time. I had to find him and ask if he was going to serve the next wine, as we have waited 30 min sense the first wine was poured. He finally shows up and I told him I wanted to tab out and was not happy. He tried to pour the wine. Finally get bill for 1 wine tasting for 9 people and he tried to overcharge me. Argued and finally got the correct price even though they should have discounted it.
Do not waste your time or money at this place. Totally ruined the whole purpose of doing wine tasting.

We visited this place in Napa for the first time.
One of the most scenic spots around it is a place you must visit. The wines are tasty and help to complete the experience. We also got a cheese plate.
The vibe, view, and wine were a worthwhile experience.

The wines here are terrible, even our friend that does not care what wines she drink thought it was rough to drink. None of us could even finish any of our tastings. Our last wine reservation for our 3 day trip and should have listened to the reviews that this place is a tourist place.
Unfriendly front staff and service took forever.
The one star is for the beautiful winery as the photos show but it is a definitely a tourist trap.

Excellent views and beautifully crafted wines. Service was a bit chaotic and they ran out of cheese plates, so we couldn’t order anything. However our server found some crackers for us. Bought a couple of bottles — really enjoyed the Cab Franc.

I had called and asked about reservations for our special trip to the West coast in 4 weeks. I was told there were openings and I mentioned that this was the winery I was looking forward to most. I reserved and paid the deposit that evening. I called two days later to clear up a discrepancy on my reservation and was told that they were canceling it. Apparently, there were only a few people who had reserved for that afternoon thus far and another party reserved the entire venue for the afternoon. The woman was not very apologetic, other than offering that I come earlier in the day but I already have other plans. To be made to feel that my visit was unimportant is bad business practice and would not recommend this place to anyone.
Bouchaine Vineyards is a Carneros winery with beautiful vineyards, great views, and informative vineyard tours. It offers tastings directly from the barrel, which makes it a fun place to visit for wine lovers. The staff is delightful and welcoming, making you feel at ease while you enjoy your tasting experience.
Bouchaine Vineyards is a picturesque setting, almost out of a dream. The patio is nestled among acres and acres of grapes, overlooking a beautiful garden and terrace. Their extremely kind and knowledgeable staff made us feel so welcome. We loved the wine so much, we ordered a crate to ship home. We cannot wait to visit again!

Our first stop in the napa region and as Rob (our host) rightly joked ‘it would all go downhill from here’ - lol - Rob and the wines at Bouchaine were among the best we had. Bouchaine and Carneros (sub region) is known for its pinots and chardonnays. We also found their syrah and merlot (Hyde) to be really really good. Overall, great stop and Rob was amazing - he also wrote us down some great recommendations for places to visit / eat at.

My husband remembers this winery had good Pinot Noir. They build a beautiful tasting room and venue. A gorgeous view of the valley. Servers seemed to be friendly. We bought a bottle, to avoid the pricey $75 a person tasting fee. We didn't have a reservation, but we found a table with a view and shared some candy, that we purchased. We probably will visit again in the future.

We went to Bouchaine’s with a wine tour and it was spectacular. The wine was amazing but also the views and the people. Everyone there was so friendly, genuinely excited to share their wine and we had the best time. We already ordered a case and will absolutely be going back anytime we visit Napa.

This was my first time visiting this winery and I will for sure be back. I went with 2 friends and we all very much enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and friendly service. Our wine guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and gave us the perfect amount of time between tastings so that we didn't feel rushed. I loved that each of us could choose our own tasting instead of having one that was pre selected. This was a huge plus since we all had different tastes. Bravo to Bouchaine! We will be back!

What a hidden gem!! So many people come to Napa and want to tick off the bigger producers but we prefer to pour our money into the smaller lesser known producers and Bouchaine is now at the top of our list to revisit. Jordan was our host and he was nothing short of fantastic! He provided great commentary, insight and historical information on the winery as well as the region. And every single wine we sampled was outstanding!! Highly recommend the Pinot Meunier - I can’t stop thinking about it that’s how good it is. The setting - the view - and the quality of the facility is on par with those bigger wineries that could care less if you have a great time. Make Bouchaine a MUST stop in your Napa journey.

The Donum Estate is a winery in Sonoma that requires reservations to visit. It boasts a sleek tasting room and beautiful gardens, as well as an extensive collection of sculptures. The vineyards provide grapes for their expressive pinots, including the standout 2013 Carneros Estate Pinot Noir, which is spicy and structured.
I feel bad writing this review because this place is such a hidden gem in the Carneros hills, and it feels like such a secret that is too precious to share with others!
The wine and service here are top notch. Spendy, yes, but nothing compared to far inferior wines of the Napa Valley area that fetch higher price tags. Every tasting experience I have had here has felt personalized and incredibly special.
And the art collection, it’s truly a marvel. Come for the wine, stay for the art, or come for the art, stay for the wine.

A luxury experience of a lifetime! After touring the many wineries in Napa, we ended with one of the most rememberable and delicious experiences at Donum Estate.
The arrival experience from the private drive to the breathtaking large scale sculpture by famed artist Jaume Plensa does't even prepare you for whats to come. It just has you in awe.
After you park the car and begin walking toward the entrance of the sophisticated yet modern tasting room, you are greeted by an expert wine director starting your experience with a warm welcome and a glass of wine. John Accardo was welcoming and set the tone for an exceptional afternoon.
Upon entering, the minimalist interiors highlights a few pieces of the collection. John escorted us to what we would soon realize was our own private tasting room. As we stepped into the room, shade automatically unveiled a 180 view of the vineyard and one of the collections large scale installations. Our table was preset with glassware, our small bites, florals as well as a personalized menu with our name on it.
John took us through our tasting of prize pinot's with conversation that was relaxed, informative and most importantly, unpretentious.
After the tasting, John took us on a tour of the art peppered among the property with the vineyards as the backdrop. His knowledge of one of the most impressive art collections in the world is only surpassed by his knowledge of wine.
Don't miss out on Donum Estates. A must each and every time you visit Napa.

DONUM ESTATE VIBES - 🍲 🖼️ 🐑 🍷🌅
Donum was THE most unique wine tasting experience we’ve had!
BREAKDOWN
- FOOD: Outstanding food from Chef Fiorella Butron of the Allikai group. We traveled the world in a plate of small but deeply satisfying bites. From ceviche to pho to mole beet purée, the flavors were delicious & each bite left you wanting more
- ART: Enjoying one of the largest accessible private sculpture collections in the world. The crouching spider was dynamic & breathtaking. The vertical panorama pavilion was an awesome homage to the weather patterns of Carneros. So many unique & thought provoking pieces of art. One could spend days taking all that in
- WINE: Silky & elegant Pinot Noirs representing Carneros, Russian River & Anderson Valley. Y’all know I love my Carneros Pinot Noir & the one 2020 Carneros Estate Pinot Noir had everything I love. Fruit, earth, & funk all brought together by elegant tannins with judicious use of oak. The Chardonnays were deliciously crafted as well. The attention to detail is noticeable & as a bonus all vineyards are regenerative organic certified 👏🏾
- BONUS: A 🔥🔥🔥 playlist (Heard some Kaytranada & Galimatias while tasting), sheep (My boo LOVES animals), & great hospitality from John 👏🏾

One of the best tasting experiences, ever. Those words are thrown around a lot these days but I say them here without hyperbole, for this place is truly just that - an experience. The wines (Pinot and Chardonnay) are exceptional, finely crafted and elegant. But the grounds, the art, the sheer thought that went into everything... it must be (you guessed it) experienced.
Domaine Carneros is a Napa winery that specializes in still and sparkling wines. The winery has a French-inspired chateau and formal gardens, which is perhaps best known for its production of sparkling wines.
This place was awesome! I’m not a big wine drinker and was just here for the vibes, but I actually loved the wine tasting!
The whole experience was amazing. The location is beautiful, and the sparkling wines and vegan cheese plate were fire. Jeremy was awesome! Very knowledgeable and friendly.
All of the wines are vegan and they have a vegan cheese plate made with a local brand! I love that this beautiful place is working to become more sustainable! I hope one day they drop the meat, fish, and dairy products on their menu and go completely vegan, but this is a good start.
I’d definitely recommend this place!

My husband and I came here on a Saturday to enjoy or reservation for bites and bubbles. It was a sparkling wine and Moroccan food experience. The drive up to the property is amazing and the building is beautiful agai st the backdrop of the mountains. Then the grounds itself are amazing and provide a great place to sit and enjoy the weather.
The inside was no less awe inspiring. Beautiful and elegant was the best way to describe the decor. Our server Tom provided some background on the place and then walked is through the tasting. He was funny and engaging, definitely enjoyed him throughout our stay.
The wine was very good. I enjoyed how we got to try everything from extra dry to slightly sweet. The food was also delicious. For the price I wish we got a little bit more food, but the pours were generous.
I'd recommend a stop in!

Although the grounds of this venue are stunning and the views are breathtaking, the wine flights in my wife and my opinion were only okay.
Pros:
-This place is beautiful. Think french country side and you have a good picture of what to expect. Beautiful sparkling chandeliers, grand fireplaces, uniquely painted walls, shining marble, and sweeping courtyards.
-There is ample places to sit inside and outside on a good day
-This venue is staffed well, and you aren't left waiting long
Cons:
-This place is very busy. If its not a nice day, and everyone has to sit inside, then the noise volume in the house is very loud, and its hard to have conversations easily.
-If you are a red wine drinker, this place doesn't not have a great selection. They are more known for their bubbly wines.

Multiple wine and sparkling wine tasting options. Food pairing ranged from cheese to smoked salmon. I am fully satisfied with these options.
Service was good from the server we have. But the persons who were standing there for refilling water were not as good as the server. Every time we had to call and ask him to refill our water or crackers. As the tip is 18% or up, we expected the service should be better.

Although the architecture and grounds are beautiful, I was left underwhelmed by the wine flight. While at the property, I selected the “Grand Flight.” Honestly, I only sipped on two of the wines. The other two did not sit well on my palate and I left them behind on the table. I sampled wines from three other wineries, and much preferred them to DC. If you are expecting a reimbursement for your wine tasting if you purchase a bottle, don’t look here. Also, I was disappointed we were only permitted in one room while on property.

We arrived for our appointment and we’re asked to waited for a few minutes. No worries. The front desk host said you can walk around the estate for the while and we will text you once the table is ready. We were given a table right at the entrance, which we weren’t pleased about as being a Sunday, it was quite crowded and so asked we can get any other table which we saw were available and our host mentioned you may need to wait a while, which we agreed upon and she later went on to say what are you expecting and I did point out to her a few other tables and she blatantly lied we have someone waiting. There were almost about 5-7 2-seatings that were available and she would not give us that. Saw her seating a couple (later than us) on one of the table which they didn’t want and later they were moved to the table of their choice. Definitely felt discriminated. I did notice they are very picky and choosy on whom and where they are seating guests. We did our wine tasting and our table host was really polite and good and was very informative, but the front desk host is utterly rude. Do not take disrespect from them. If you are not getting what you want, I would recommend walk off because there are tons of much better wineries with very good experiences. Their wines are average as well. Would not recommend them for wine tasting.

We stopped by to take a look without reservations because it's so pretty that not to stop by. We are glad to see how it looks and maybe return for a wine-tasting experience.
They have in, out, patio, and private areas for members & non-members.
I checked out their website, and their wine tasting ranges from $40 to up to $175/person. Definitely worth the visit, and if you're thinking of booking, it's pretty chill, but also busy here, and relax for the experience!

I've been here several tims. I have family who lives in the area. We always visit because the wines are good, the chateau is very picturesque. But the reason why I was compelled to write a review with 5 stars this time around was the excellent customer service particularly of their staff, Helen.
Today I took a friend to see the place for the first time. It was a rainy day and a last minute decision for us. The sign at the parking lot said the tastings were for reservations only. We tried to check if they would be able
to accommodate 2 walk-ins. Unfortunately, they were full. And that was fine.
But to our amazement, Helen - the front desk staff- offered to let us try a glass of our preferred wine for free. That was a very kind, and unexpected gesture. It was a simple offer but it made our day. She made us loyal to this brand. I'm going to order 6 bottles to be shipped to NY and I'm considering being a club member... just because of that kind gesture from Helen!!!

We were about two hours late to our reservation, because our flights were delayed, but they were so nice that they got us in! Very very nice people and the customer service the whole time was great! The selection is amazing! Tons of sparkling wine ! I wish we could do all of the tastings! Everything we tasted was great! I read online somewhere that they give a bigger military discount than they did, but I guess that website was wrong. They still gave us a discount, but it wasn’t as much as the blog I read. As soon as you walk up, you feel like you are about to walk into a palace or a mansion. Definitely get some pictures! Even when you are inside or outside on the patio, the view is spectacular! Definitely one of the wineries that you do not want to miss!

I was too full after the burger to fully enjoy my original fries but they were ok.
Garlic fries were too much for me, I love garlic but it was overload even though I only tried one.
Service was quick and smiley. We sat outside and enjoyed the lovely weather.

Listen, hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Cali burger…I usually get a lettuce wrap but this was my first time so had to go with the bun. Meat was seasoned toppings didn’t fall off, lettuce was crisp bun was warm and firm. Garlic fries were oily but still amazing.

Tasty hamburgers that lived up to the hype! We enjoyed the California Burger and the Wisconsin Burger, and we were pleasantly surprised by the wide selection of other food items such as chicken schnitzel, soup, and salads. Nice outdoor dining area as well, but it does get crowded during peak dining hours.

We found this gem on our way to our hotel (after a 5 hr flight). It was located near the public market with a bunch of other stores nearby. The chicken parm sandwich was one of their specials for the day so I decided to order that for lunch, as well as the garlic fries. The sandwich was made to perfection and tasted absolutely amazing! Garlic fries were also nice and crispy, which paired well with the sir kensington’s ketchup :)
Lastly, we ordered a couple bottles of Rosé, Bieler Père et Fils (Provence, France) and had a toast amongst the 6 of us.
Overall, i highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quick bite in Napa!

The burgers where really good! I’m so happy I got both!!! I do wish I got two crab sandwiches. This place was really clean, more expensive then your mom n pop burger joint. But worth the money. Can’t wait to go back, their team was awesome, super nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place as one of your stops if ur visiting wine country.

Gott’s, I love you!!! Following a hilarious disaster of a hike at nearby Westwood Hills Park, sat down here for such a satisfying, reliable, juicy burger and refreshing lemonade. Everything you want in a burger. Would come here weekly if I lived nearby. Nothing like that visceral, charred burger taste. And their soft serve is incredible, too! Skip the overpriced Napa restaurants and come here. Can’t wait to come back to any of their locations.
5 stars!!!

Great burger spot, we originally planned for walking around and wine tasting but went here instead. The burger was a tasty classic with good fries and a great chocolate PB shake. Sitting outside, you get to control the heater yourself which is a great touch.

The fried cauliflower is awesome! Perfectly battered and fried, don’t sleep on this tasty appetizer. Burgers are good, meat is naturally raised and you can taste the difference. Fish tacos are okay, good portion, just not too flavorful. Staff is friendly and the place is clean.

Doing an impromptu Napa tour with my cousin's wife, my cousin and my wife on memorial weekend... We started late so we got to Napa around 2:00. Decided to hit Gotts! I've never been here before, but I heard quite a bit about this place. The weather felt more like San Francisco than Napa Valley, but let's talk about the hamburgers!
We ordered the avocado, the western blue cheese, and tuna tacos along with cheese, fries, garlic fries and sweet potato fries and obviously the street corn as well!
My first bite was from the western blue cheese. Wow! Let me say it again, wow!! Complex flavors. Nice bite from the blue cheese. Excellent complementary flavors.
You avocado burger was next. That was amazing with jalapeno peppers inside. Very refreshing, great blend of taste. Work really well with each other. Next, I attack those ahi tuna tacos. Tacos for extra crispy tuna was awesome. Everything worked really well.
The street corner is something right home about was amazing. How much more to say about the fries? Cheese, fries or cheese fries? Garlic fries are obviously garlic fries and sweet potato fries or slightly overdone but amazing. Amazing hamburgers must have. Must stop here. Must get a bite!

Gott's has excellent burgers and sides. The food also comes out quick given how busy the place is. Would definitely go back here the next time I visit Napa.

Classic diner vibes with an elevated menu. It's counter service and they give you a buzzer. The food was excellent. I had the Texas Avocado Burger and it was cooked a perfect medium. The cheesy fries were so good. The cheese sauce is so flavorful. Of course we had wine!

This is a must stop any time you are in the area. The outside is dog friendly, which we appreciated as we were traveling with our dog. It also has heaters over several of the tables which was need on this fall night. It is a very upscale/modern diner. You walk in and order at the counter. We may have been a little overly aggressive in ordering a double cheeseburger each but we had never been and heard good things. I ordered an Arnold Palmer and my husband got a peanut butter shake. We were handed a little device to let us know when our order was ready. In the meantime, I stocked up on napkins, ketchup, mustard and mayo. I was thrilled that they have Sir Kensington ketchup it is my favorite and they don't make it to sell to the public anymore. The order came out quickly. The double cheeseburger was huge...and delicious! We enjoyed our crispy fries. Must husband loved his shake, and appreciate that it was made the old fashioned way with real ice cream and milk. I really appreciated the free refill on my drink. Overall, we will make sure to stop here every time we visit!

There's so many great choices for dining in in Napa that you can suffer analysis paralysis. Fortunately there's Gott's, which is an easy choice to make.
I mean, where do I begin. Everything is great - the fries, the burgers, the shakes, the onion rings. You really can't make a bad choice here. In fact, we went here for lunch while trying to figure out where to go for dinner. So, if you too are not sure what to do, then go to Gott's.

We got the Texas Avocado Burger (hooray for perfectly ripe avocado!) and the Wisconsin Burger. Both were delicious. The garlic fries were not so much garlic as pesto, I had envisioned actual garlic on them and was disappointed by their appearance, but not taste. I mean hey, fresh hot french fries. The lemonade tasted like it was made from real lemons, making my arnold palmer crazy refreshing. Cute patio atmosphere.

A perfect spot for lunch between wineries! Burgers were great, fresh ingredients and filling! Get the brussel sprouts and sweet potato fries!! Also a milkshake! We ordered ahead since we were about 30 minutes away and definitely recommend. Food was ready as soon as we walked in which was great to avoid long lines.

I often enjoy a great burger and the sides at Gott’s. It’s a classic and delicious. The buns are always perfectly toasted and the crispy Brussel sprouts are my favorite. They handle my various food allergies extremely well.
Chandon winery, located in Yountville, California, is a popular destination for wine enthusiasts. The winery offers fantastic wines and friendly service with beautiful scenery that can be enjoyed all day long. Visitors can also explore the nearby vineyards and quaint town of Yountville. While some websites claim to offer free tastings at Chandon and other popular wineries, these claims are often false clickbait tactics aimed at increasing website traffic.
Well…that was fun. We arrived without reservations and they kindly accommodated. They were very busy, so it started a little slowly but we were lucky to have Kenny G. as our wine guide. He was awesome. He was funny, generous, gregarious, he was perfect. I would say that he made the experience except the wines themselves held up their end of the bargain. I’m not a huge bubbles guy but these wines are exquisite. They span the full spectrum of the sparkling wine experience and were dialed in and elegant. And the view on the patio was the ideal setting to enjoy these wines. If you’re into bubbles, this feels mandatory. If you’re not, be a good husband and let your wife have the time of her life. If you get Kenny G, you’ll both be rewarded.

This experience was first class. It is a bigger winery than many in Napa. However we were treated very personally and while we planned to just stay for an hour it ended up being two hours because we enjoyed our time, the service and the sparkling wine so much.
We did the Terroir tasting and that was perfect. The property is newly renovated and stunning.

This is the influencer winery due to their scenic property and contemporary tasting room. Was able to come here on a Monday during their Bubble Bar event, where their wines were served a la carte instead of a tasting. Reservations are required, as they did turn away plenty of people who were trying to walk in. Since the winery is owned by Moet & Chandon, the winery is known for their sparkling wine and I was not surprised that most of their product did taste like Dom Perignon. Everything was decent, but I would say the Mt Veeder sparking wines were better than the others.

Most of the grounds were under construction while we visited, unfortunately. For a big house, I think this is what you would expect. Our wine guide was very nice, though. They had a vegan cashew cheese mushroom pizza that was so good! Though, they were out of the oysters for my partner, which was a bummer. Vibes were okay, sparkling wine was okay.

Absolutely racist and nasty staff.
Right before my turn, he was serving some folks and we saw him chatting happily. Attitude changed 180 degrees when he had to serve us two asians. I asked if he could explain the drinks and what he recommends, he gives a one liner and says “it’s up to you.”
Probed again to ask to provide more details of the drinks, he gave a frustrated look and give a one liner. I wonder why is there such a difference in attitude?
Granted, scenery is beautiful but the staff whose name is Jesus, is just plain rude and takes away the joy of a supposedly beautiful experience.

Since I love champagne, I really wish I could have given this place 5 stars.
My bestie & I visited here in Sept and the weather was perfect for sitting outdoors, which was where the tasting was - and you don't have a choice. A little odd I would think, since you're paying for it.
We were treated to some small bites along with each tasting. The staff wasn't very friendly or personable. Lovely grounds but they didn't seem to flow smoothly, they were detached.
I did enjoy the time and the champagne. Of course the only restroom is in the retail store, lol. I bought a few bottles and found later I was charged twice, not too nice.
Add a little more charm and this place would be worth another visit, construction or not

The Carneros Resort and Spa epitomizes the romance and relaxation of wine country. Surrounded by vineyards and orchards, the private cottages come complete with stylish interiors, gardens, and fire pits. The resort's seasonally-focused restaurants, two pools, renovated spa, and WineCountry Perks make it an ideal place to spend a relaxing day surrounded by nature.
Only came for dinner on date night! Reservations are a must of you bank on eating here as it does book out way in advance. If not you can still come to explore the beautiful grounds with Bocci ball courts, raised vegetable beds, chickens and a market to boot! The enormous covered patio features great loungers and fireside seating where if you did not have restaurant reservations still provide a smaller bites menu from the bar. With drinks of course!

We were in love with Carneros Resort & Spa from the second we arrived. It was definitely one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed, and our cottage was one of the most comfortable accommodations we have ever experienced. It was a dream vacation with my husband and our dog. The grounds are extremely well-kept and everywhere you go around the resort there is something new and beautiful! We especially loved individual outdoor space of the cottage, with chaise lounges, a dining table, outdoor fire pit, and the outdoor shower and bath. Our chicago dog was very happy to be able to relax outside in January for a change! And as a side note about dogs, this was one of the most dog-friendly places we have ever visited, so if you’re planning to travel to Napa with your pup, we would highly recommend staying here! We spent most of our time outdoors, although inside cottage was equally beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom floor heater was a nice touch! Dining at the Hilltop breakfast buffet every morning was another highlight of our trip. We are already planning a return trip and can’t wait to come back. Thank you for a terrific stay!

This place never get old, amazing service, spectacular views and delicious food. The accommodations are second to none.
This is always our go to for a weekend away. Love sitting on the patio with a few cocktails and listening to live music. They have a great little general store on property if you would like to take it back to your room. Salami, cheeses and wine? Can’t go wrong.
The cottages are perfect. Great for a little peace. Stocked with everything you need. Including a refrigerated wine dispenser! The heated floors are great when you’re coming in from the outdoor shower. I don’t think I used the inside shower once. 😂
If you’re looking to get away. Choose Carneros!

This place was gorgeous!!! Was here for a wedding. Everything was so pretty. They have little village section houses to stay in. Pool spa all the things for an inclusive stay. The views were incredible where they held the ceremony. Staff was very helpful and answered any questions we had. Was very easy to find off the road. Very good wine as well. Stuck to the red blend. The ballroom was perfect size for a dance party.

DO NOT USE THEIR CONCIERGE SERVICE! They helped me schedule a couple of days of tours, but then totally dropped the ball and almost ruined our trip. They forgot(?) to book a private driver that I confirmed multiple times for, so the first morning of tours, I had no one to take us. The staff at the hotel did not care one bit and just stared at me blankly and told me I’d have to wait until the concierge came in (which was way too late to do anything about it). They literally didn’t care and offered zero help to rectify the issue. When the concierge did finally show up, he literally said “this is my Monday and I’m just getting in”, like I was being a burden on him. And he still never did a single thing to help. The hotel manager did end up calling later to apologize, but that was it. They could have done more to correct the situation and make me happy, hell, just at least send a bottle of champagne to the room. Saying you are sorry is not enough.
I had to wing it and get Ubers and line up my own drivers last minute, which was super stressful.
The value for this place, $1200+ for a cottage, isn’t the best.
The property is stunning though. And we did have an issue with our AC that was rectified immediately.

We stayed at Carneros with our 3 months old infant. It’s very family friendly. Easy to navigate around with a stroller and the landscape is amazing.
However, the bed is extremely uncomfortable. When the price is $1000+, you would expect the bed to at least match some regular price Inn. But no, it’s so hard and smells horrible (I believe it’s tobacco smell). As a nursing mom who’s so lack of sleep, I’m disappointed with the quality of the bed.
Service and staff are very good! The farm and hilltop pool are very lovely! This place would be much better if you simply replace the mattress! How easy is that?

Beautiful place. However, the main bar was under establishment, and we were seated in a tented area. But it had a fire pit and live background music entertainment. Good service. We did not eat here because we dropped in after we had my birthday dinner elsewhere. That being said, the manager had the waiter bring out a complimentary mousse truffle pie with a chocolate crisp crust that was absolutely delicious paired with champagne. We will return for dinner

We just went to play pickle ball at Carneros Resort and Spa, and even when we weren’t staying guests, they were very accommodating, they even gave us water to drink before and after our game. Our food came in mid game and no one else was playing so nobody really bothered us, which was good.

We hosted my wife's 40th birtday here. We were ripped off at the bar completely. we are being made to pay for a random number of guests where we are told that all of our drinking guests drank about 9 drinks each which is ridiculously high as we would have had drunk guests falling down in the party. All of our guests drove home that night from NAPA to the bay area.
Here is the full story of the dispute:-
The first amount we are disputing is a charge of $3,944.00 for preferred cocktails. We are in grave disagreement with the number of drinks the staff determined our guests had consumed. I can literally make a list of the guests that were drinking that day and it just isn't possible that that number of people could have consumed the amount of alcohol that we are being charged for. Thus, 232 preferred cocktails is just not possible given the number of guests that were drinking. Logically speaking if we multiply the possible number of guests who drank that day each one would have had 8-9 drinks and we would have visibly intoxicated guests. None of our guests stayed back in Napa and drove home that day.
Additionally, I am not sure why we were charged for some glorified water. We were never informed that there would be a charge for water. We weren't told there would be water bottles on display and we would be charged for those consumed. If that was the case our authorization should have been obtained. I don't think it's fair that we are being charged for something we did not authorize. We were informed that our guests were given goodbyes with water bottles again, we didn't request or ask for our guests to be served and sent home with water bottles. Thus, we would also be disputing the $1,144.00.
We have been trying to communicate multiple times with billing, On Dec 31st " WITHOUT MY PERMISSION" my cc was charged for the full amount- yes I wasnt asked before charging. And now no one calls back or answers the call. Never host an event HERE- ITS A RIP OFF

We've stayed here multiple times since they were built. The residences are amazingly well laid out. They make wonderful use of the space and even though there are other buildings nearby, you feel very secluded. It's a wonderful place to escape and relax but still be very close to many places. I wish I could visit more often.

Recently stayed at Carneros Resort for the third time, and likely the last. Having had a poor experience on our last visit in 2018, I had reached out to the concierge before booking and was ensured the experience would be exceptional. Our loyalty to the resort when there are similar and newer properties in the area at the same cost, ended up being a poor decision. Grounds are meticulously maintained, however the room was dirty upon check in and had cobwebs throughout, to which we requested additional housekeeping and maintenance to fix the outlets in the room that weren't working. Front desk thought I was joking when I requested it the service. One of the advantages to the resort is FARM restaurant being located on site. However there was outdoor seating only and a limited menu, as the indoor restaurant was under construction. There was also no bar service. This should have been a disclaimer before booking both the hotel and restaurant reservation. Hill top pool is in need of resurfacing and the hot tub area was also under construction with a tarp preventing you from seeing the typical/beautiful view. This should have been disclosed before booking the room reservation. Upon checkout, we shipped wine through the concierge back to our home, only to follow up a week later and learn that they had misplaced our form and we had to open up a dispute with the shipping company. Unfortunately we won't be back.
Nestled in the heart of Napa Valley, Ceja Vineyards is a family-owned winery that has garnered acclaim for its diverse selection of varietals. The family's journey from working in the fields to owning 113 acres of grapes is a testament to their dedication and passion for winemaking. Visitors can expect a warm welcome at the tasting bar, often greeted by Ariel Ceja himself.

Palmaz Vineyards is an exceptional winery with a focus on technology and innovation. The tour guides are knowledgeable and engaging, providing insights about the winemaking process that showcase how the vineyard produces its wines. The wine tastings are excellent, with great pairings that truly enrich the experience. Despite all of the technology used in the production process, Palmaz Vineyards emphasizes how winemaking remains an art form requiring human ingenuity and skill.
We had an amazing tour today by Jordan. He was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. I learned a lot about how Palmaz produces their wine. The wine and pairings were excellent. We never felt rushed. The tour and tasting wasn’t satisfying as $100 per person service, unfortunately--the tour conductor assigned to us was neither engaging to us nor knowledgeful.
However, it’s still good to see they use the latest technologies such as IR vision to monitor the growth of grape as well as vision inspection and automated process for vinification.

It has been said that to make a little $ in Napa, you have to start with a lot of $ from somewhere else. Palmaz Vineyards is absolutely state of the art, and they have a facility like no other. But they also throw $$$$ at every obstacle in ways like no other. That being said, there are dozens of vineyards in the valley that in my opinion, have far more heart, and are much superior quality. It is also eye-opening and painful to see how elaborate everything in the facility is, then get a bill. OUCH! This review is not for all - some don't consider price and will no doubt disagree. But opinions on taste aside, the rest is all true.

Beautiful winery, amazing technology being used. We enjoyed the first few minutes until we were met with our tour guide, who was as sour as a grape could be. Rushing through the tour, constantly reminding us that she has another "very important" tour at 2pm, and rushed it to the fact that we actually finished 30 minutes early on our reserved tour. While I would recommend the winery to any and all for the experience, I sure hope it's with a better tour guide! Napa is supposed to be one's happy place, but I suppose we caught someone on a bad day that will leave a lasting impression.

Hendry Winery is an unassuming establishment that cultivates over 10 grape varieties and provides tours and wine tastings. The winery, run by the Hendry family, gives exceptional service as they describe each block and the process of making their wines. Visitors can enjoy a variety of wines, including their Cabernet Franc in a stunning setting on the winery porch overlooking the estate vines.
Myself and my wife visited during a trip to Napa to do some tasting at a few wineries back in September 2023. We had an absolutely amazing time and Skip was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the vineyards history and wines we were tasting. It had a lovely, more family run, feel to it and Hendry was definitely our favourite winery of the ones we visited. We will definitely have to visit again next time we’re over in the States.

What a great spot! Nestled off the beaten path we had a wonderful tasting with Angela. The winery is beautiful and her knowledge of both wine and the property and history are captivating! We loved our experience with her!

Absolutely love this vineyard. The staff is so knowledgeable about their wine. The tasting is a great deal, especially if you buy bottles as well :) The view from the porch is lovely & peaceful, very much enjoyed spending my low key birthday here this past year. I recommended Hendry to my brother & his wife who said it was the best tour they’ve ever had- from the owner. Thank you! Can’t wait to come back.

Excellent place. Very informative. Love all the knowledge we got out of our visit. Delicious variety of wines. Must do if you want to learn about wines. Thank you so much Tamara :-)

Hendry is by far the best tasting that we had while in Sonoma & Napa. Gregg who lead our tasting was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. At other tastings we felt like everything was scripted and inorganic, but we had such a personalized and intimate experience at Hendry. While tastings are not as much about quantity, I will say that we also got to try a lot more wine for the money, both in variety and quantity. They also waive the tasting fee with a purchase equal to the per person fee. Which essentially means you double your value. All that to say we were very impressed. Thank you Gregg for an amazing experience!

It was my first wine tasting experience and I must thank Skip from Hendry wines for making it super special for me and my husband. The overall experience was very personalised and not rushed, very detailed/informative. Skip walked us through the history of the Hendry family and their winery business in an engaging manner. We were also honoured to meet the master wine maker/owner Mr.George Hendry. With a lot of other wineries around the Napa area commercialising the wine tasting business, Hendry’s is among the very few wineries out there that make every penny worth spending. The best part is they waive the tasting fee if you purchase a wine that is equal to or more than the fee.
Love,
Sakshi and Sandeep

We are Hendry wine club members and traveled from MD to visit the winery on 4/10. The service was outstanding including details of all of the Hendry blocks and how the wines are made by the Hendry family. We enjoyed all of the wines, including the 2019 Cabernet Franc. The setting on the winery porch overlooking the estate vines was very beautiful and comfortable. A visit to Hendry in Napa is highly recommended!

What a great personalized experience! The Cabernet Sauvignon was wonderful!! Also an amazing value, as your tasting fees are waived when you buy bottles. 10/10 recommend

I always recommend Hendry to anyone visiting Napa. The tasting experience is such a relaxing way to spend an afternoon, with nice views and a great glass of wine in hand, and the staff are really friendly and just want you to have a good experience. The tasting fee can be used toward bottles of wine if you want to take some home.

T was amazing & took the time to get to know us as she guided our tasting. Hendry is a unique gem in Napa & I would absolutely recommend! The story of this winery is also incredible.

5 star experience all around. Greg was super informative about the history of Hendry and wine making as well as passionate about wine. By far my favorite winery experience.

We had a fantastic, informative, and very down-to-earth tasting with 'T.' She understood our inexperience and adjusted her time with us to make it an experience above & beyond any winery we've ever visited. What a joy!

We had a wonderful, educational and delicious time at Hendry. Skip was a fountain of information and so interesting with history and wine knowledge . Four of us loved the wines and are very happy that wine can be shipped! This is a wine that can be enjoyed at any time- very highly recommend!

I cannot say enough about hendry. WOW
This was the 6th winery we visited in Napa and by far, the best. Skip is the person you want serving.
All the wines are delicious. I especially loved their 7 &22 Zin. They go super hard telling you about the winery and George who runs the place. Ultimately i was left with the most positive happy vibes. The wine was delicious and the company was excellent. I normally am the type of person to prefer to taste the wines and be left alone but this place totally changes my mind.
EXCEPTIONAL

We thoroughly enjoyed our tasting experience at Hendry. We visited to celebrate a friend's birthday and do a pickup (friends are members at Hendry). The final vertical flight of 2014, 2018, 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon were wonderful.

First time visiting Napa and Hendry’s came recommended by friends so we paid a visit. Skip gave us the most informative and fun wine tasting experience I’ve ever had. Awesome place with awesome wine and history. If you’re looking for a quality and personal winery, this is your place!
Adrienne McFarland — Google review
In a region filled with large names (and larger prices), Hendry puts out some of the most amazing wines in the region for very reasonable prices! Had a lovely personal tasting experience with T. Trust me, if you’re deciding on where to go in the region, you will not be disappointed with this small, family estate winery!
Located in Downtown Napa, St. Clair Brown Winery & Brewery features a small indoor greenhouse where you can enjoy wine and beer while outside under the trees and gardens. Their vegan beers are a unique addition to the Napa Valley breweries scene.
Cozy back yard set up and central. Great selection of wines and beers. Food pairing goes well with the tasting flights. Knowledgeable staff will give you plenty of good selection. The experience for me is very wholesome and pleasant. Recommend when you look for something close to town.

Was really excited to try this place out, however when we arrived, we were told we would be seated inside their warehouse because the garden was closed due to rain (Note: their website clearly states that outdoor reservations would be moved inside "in the event of rain", however, it wasn't raining, the sun was shining, and we were not alerted prior to arriving that our outdoor reservation was being moved inside..). We spoke to the front desk and said we had booked an outdoor seating, and were not interested in sitting inside. They told us no problem, they'd cancel our reservation and refund us the full deposit ($211).
I waited a week for the refund and never received it, so I called St Clair to make sure it had gone through. I was reassured on the phone that the refund had been issued and that I should wait a few days for my bank to refund it. Another week passes, I still don't receive the refund, so I call (again), and am told (again, by a different employee) that the refund was being processed and I should receive it in a few days' time.
TL;DR I never received the refund, and am now (2 months later) being told that I can use the credit for a future tasting.. This is totally different from what I was told in person and on the phone (twice!), where I was told the full deposit would be refunded. I don't live nearby, and based on my awful experience here so far, I don't think I'll ever come back. Would recommend trying one of the many other, better spots around town with better service.

Quaint little place, beer & wine, love they have both!!! Host Lauren was so pleasant and loves her job!!! Don’t blame her!!!! Brown Ale was my favorite for beer and had a taste of the Syrah which paired beautifully with the Citrus Pistachio Chocolate Bark!!! Rest of the food was amazing!! Nothing pretentious about this perfect find, this is a must if you like a laid back comfortable atmosphere!!! Thank You!!❤️

Great place to taste some amazing small batch wine and beers. The tasting garden is full of plants they use on their menu, so expect to be surrounded by seasonal vegetables and have many of them on your plate (just don't tell the plants that).

Loved the whole experience! Kaitlyn (sp?) took us on an amazing sensory journey as we walked around the garden, tasted sunburst tomatoes, sniffed lemon verbena, and nibbled on fennel flowers. Granted we got there before they opened and were the only ones there for a while, but none the less it was extremely memorable. Thank you so much!

Stopped in by chance and we all loved the place. I forget the gentleman’s name but the service was great. Listening to the story behind each beer/wine was cool. Food was tasty. Everyone was a fan of the hummus. Also good with children. Would recommend 100%.

This is really a 5 star place. Love the vibe, the music and the wine. Living right down the street, I had been a loyal customer for years and always recommend it to visitors. Three of my friends are wine club members and I go with them, and we spend money beyond the "1 free glass". The problem is, when I went to introduce friends to their wine, they denied us service unless I, A.) Signed up for their wine club on the spot or, B.) Spent $65 on a 1.5 oz flight. They refused to sell us a bottle of $80 rose and small plates prior to our heading to dinner. It was a Sat night and half the tables were empty. But no go. We felt hijacked, so decided to leave and dropped $340 at Cadet instead, which was delightful. And, yes expensive, but we weren't turned away. I do understand St. Clair Brown is a small production winery, but it felt ugly to be turned away as a customer from the beginning, when we would have undoubtedly spent a couple of hundred dollars there as well. Is it worth it SCB? Maybe so. Time will tell.

Found this place while researching through good old Google and so glad I did!
We wanted to try this place to add variety from wine during a daytrip in Napa. You know, variety is the spice of life! Went for a beer tasting and loved they also have wines to also try. All their wines and beers are made next door.
This is such a zen and peaceful place to visit. Small bites are available and are primarily sourced from their on-premises garden. Their beers are each different and unlike other types of beers had. Really like that they are local and craft…
If the beers weren’t good enough, the service is PHENOMENAL!! Emma was so so attentive, kind, and just all-around warm. I miss her after returning. She just provided such ease, relaxation, and warmth to our party. Really, she made the event worth it!
Anna Minassian — Google review
The garden was very beautiful! All in all it was a bit disappointing. It was a lot smaller than I thought, the service was super slow (which would have been okay but we were kind of over it by the end), also thought the “zero proof tasting” was NA beer- it was not. It was juice (could have been my fault for not reading carefully enough?).
Maybe if we went for an event it would have been better. I didn’t like how I had to pay for all the tastings before I got there.

Oh my goodness, this winery is beautiful! It was nice for our family vacation because we had not planned far into the future and flew by the seat of our pants. This winery is great for those who do not have time to make an appointment for a winery further in the valley. The location could be better, but it's nice that their stock house is directly across the street so they have easy access to their wines. Sometimes loud cars were distracting, as was the wine tour train that crossed by, but those distractions can easily be forgotten within the view of the garden. Their garden is organic and contains various herbs, fruits, and veggies. They are kind enough to allow customers to eat any crop that looks appealing, and I ended up trying their tomatos. So delicious! Many of their dishes are made with the ingredients they grow, and it really makes for a great experience in Napa. Another perk to this place is that they allow dogs, so feel free to bring your furry friends to enjoy the evening with you!

A great concept. Pretty gardens, plenty of wines to try, a relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed samplings of white and red wines alongside homemade hummus and tacos from the visiting Pico Modern truck. The owner invited us to sample from the garden, so I plucked tomatoes and lemon basil and had a delightful little snack. We'd come back.

Not sure how I found this place, but booked the wine and beer tasting as it's great for those people that are in Napa but aren't into wine! It's a hidden little space with a cute outdoor garden area, under the trees in the shade. Very relaxed. The wine tasting is served at your table, by the amazing staff. Our servers enthusiasm really shone through and made it a wonderful experience. They have food served via a vegan Mexican style food truck, which smelled delicious. We opted for a few small plates from their own menu and they were probably the nicest food I had in Napa! Simple but delicious. Ended up taking a bottle home too of the mixed white. A great place to visit for an informal night out.

Loved this urban winery! The organic garden surrounds private tables where you can split a bottle of wine with your group. Owner is such a friendly and fabulous lady! The cheese tray with local honey and freshly made pickles is to die for.
Clara Jennings — Google review
Being completely honest.
Horrible. First, it's in Napa most unsafe neighborhood, an outright ghetto. The view around the neighborhood is dirty old dilapidated businesses and houses right across the street from their run down small garden area. No Napa magic here. $30 for 18oz of beer! Better to hit local spots in Town and have five pints for the 💰. Same with wine, $30 to $175 for what's equal to one 8oz glass of wine. Not worth it.
We also witnessed the owner fighting with their neighbors because the proprietor of st clair brown, she very rudly sweap a pile of glass and trash into a neighbor's parking area!
They did it. We seen it.
Anybody who gives this place more than one star is just trying to be nice to a small classless business. NOTHING here. Recomend to Skip it.

What a great idea to serve wine tastings from a greenhouse, amidst an outdoor garden! Sipping new wine, pairing that with fresh hummus (which was amazing here!), and being surrounded by ripening vegetables and full fruits was unique and very enjoyable!
Robert Biale Vineyards, located in Napa Valley, is a well-received winery that offers delicious zinfandel and beautiful grounds for visitors to enjoy. The wine educators at Biale are known for their excellent personalized experiences and comprehensive knowledge about not only the wine but also the surrounding area. The tasting area itself is intimate, allowing for a more immersive and enjoyable experience. Visitors highly recommend Biale to friends and family due to its great wine and personable staff.
During our stay in Napa Valley we decided to stop in at Biale as one of our few tastings. Biale did not disappoint! Their zinfandel was delicious, their grounds were gorgeous but what really made our tasting great was our wine educator John. He was very personable, gave us an amazing personalized experience and was knowledgeable about not only the wine but the area as well. We will definitely be recommending this winery to all of our friends and family. Thank you for the great experience.

Visit this winery! We live somewhat locally and visit wine country at least once a month, and this has instantly become one of our favourites. The vineyard has been owned by the same family of farmers for almost 100 years and is run by its third generation winemaker - and you can tell. The property is beautiful but relaxed, and is a breath of fresh air from some of the more commercially driven properties you’ll find nearby.
Our host, Elena, was both extremely knowledgeable and fun to hang out with. We had friends tasting with us who were very new to wine, and she very graciously brought out maps and guided them though everything without once making them feel uncomfortable. Everyone working there popped over to different tables to help their colleagues out, though, and we could tell that no matter who you get you’ll have a fabulous time.
It’s a stunning vineyard that evidently strives to make every person feel welcome and valued, while preserving old world varietals and supporting decades long farming partnerships in the valley. If you’re visiting Napa, don’t miss this.

What a wonderful experience. Very intimate space and kind people. It was a windy day but they had their outdoor seating set up accordingly and had heat lamps and blankets in case you were still cold. Tom took care of us for our tasting and he was excellent. I drink more white wines than red; however, their selection of Zinfandel’s were very enjoyable. Would highly recommend for those who are visiting Napa or just want a nice space to relax and drink great wines.

Best winery we visited while in napa. We came for a 10am tasting since it's near our hotel senza and I loved all the wines I had here. Reasonable prices and we bought several wines. In fact they gave us the wine club spot in front because everyone else canceled that morning for whatever reason so we had 1:1 attention from our wine educator and he was awesome. So friendly and gave us so much history about the valley and Biale.

We just spent a week in the NV, and this was a very personal one-on-one tasting (fyi, our first visit to the area). I wont get into, our likes/dislikes, as those are subjective, but the host was super gracious, the grounds were beautiful, and we did buy several bottles...or maybe a case, who remembers...
Note: While there are some NV area wineries that accommodate walk-ins, for the most part, they require reservations...be sure and check. Also, something we learned, while calling for reservations, ask what their shipping rates are...some use flat fees, while others, the actual shipping costs as if u were going to a UPS store.
Bon Voyage è Bon Appétit!!

The Napa Valley Welcome Center is a great resource for tourists visiting the valley. They provide maps and help you choose what places to visit based on your preferences. They also have unique souvenirs. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing you with plenty of information about the area.
Very knowledgeable staff. Helped us with some history and recommendations. We drove up one side of the valley and down the other, both sides were beautiful. My experience at Hess Persson Winery was nothing short of exceptional. Our tour guide, Michael, was an absolute gem. His passion for his job was palpable, and his explanations of the winemaking process and the identification of the various trees on the vineyard were enlightening. The wine itself was the highlight of our Napa weekend; in fact, it was the best we tasted throughout our numerous winery visits. The Hess experience truly stands out from the rest. The food pairings were thoughtfully curated and absolutely delicious, enhancing the tasting experience even further. I was so impressed that I immediately ordered wine to be shipped home, and I can't wait to join their wine club soon. Hess Persson Winery has set the bar high for wine tasting experiences in Napa Valley.

We tried to schedule a wine tasting online but they were all booked. I added us to the waitlist and hoped for the best. To my surprise, we got a phone call. They said they had an opening and it just happened to be at a time that worked for us. This winery is a little off the beaten path. There was plenty of parking and we were able to park right out front. We walked up to a hostess and she introduced us to our host who was standing beside her. It’s all appointment only, so I don’t recommend just showing up. We were surprised that all the tours are private right now because of Covid-19.
We started with a quick walk around the facility. If you are into art, there is an amazing art museum you can walk around after your tasting. Our tasting was outside and included a cheese pairing. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience. I recommend signing up for a tasting.

Visited in January for my birthday and they went above and beyond to make me feel extra special. Currently their tours are all private experiences for just your group. We were greeted with a Pinot Noir Rose before taking a tour of the cellar and barrel room where we got several pours of the Lion Tamer Cabernet Sauvignon. For the rest of our tasting, we were led upstairs to their art gallery. Unfortunately we ran out of time to look through most of the art but a more robust collection than what I was expecting. Our tasting consisted of the Lioness Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Malbec, and Celebration Cuvee. We also got to try their Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon at the end. Our favorites were actually the Pinot rose and lion tamer cab at the beginning of the tour as well as the Malbec. Highly recommend a visit!

Our time at Hess Persson Winery was a perfect blend of excitement and refinement. The staff especially our tour guide Edgar was so welcoming, kind, and accommodating especially when I learned I booked the tour for the wrong date. Stag's Leap Wine Cellars is a renowned winery that has been producing high-end wine for 50 years. The establishment offers tastings and tours of its wine caves, as well as scenic views from an outlook point. For those who prefer to explore other historic wineries in the area, Merryvale Vineyards and Inglenook are also worth considering. In addition to wine tasting, visitors can also explore Downtown Napa.
This is a legendary winery with 50 years of tradition in high-end winemaking. We enjoyed our tasting, our tasting guide was very knowledgeable, let us try pretty much everything they make, and really helped us feel the connection between the terroir and the wine in the glass, as both were right in our eyeline. This was our very favorite tasting experience in Napa.

Stags Leap is my favorite appellation and this winery was definitely a WOW. We were so impressed with the beautiful tasting room. Last time I was here they were in a small building near the road. We had a friendly welcome and were escorted to our private table. Jason was our wine expert and we loved hearing all the history and facts about the winery. We were very impressed with his knowledge 🍷. The Kay cab was our favorite. Wish I had the money to buy that really large bottle in the lobby. 😀

My recent visit to this Napa Valley gem left me utterly captivated, and I can't help but sing praises for the outstanding wines, exquisite property, and unforgettable overall experience.
From the moment you set foot on the property, the breathtaking surroundings envelop you in a tranquil ambiance. The vine-covered hills, meticulously manicured gardens, and the iconic Stag's Leap palisades create an idyllic backdrop for an indulgent escape. The architecture seamlessly blends modern elegance with a nod to the region's rich history, providing a setting that is both inviting and awe-inspiring.
Now, let's talk about the wines—truly the stars of the show. Stag's Leap Wine Cellars boasts a selection that is nothing short of extraordinary. The careful craftsmanship and dedication to quality are evident in every bottle. The Cask 23 Cabernet Sauvignon, in particular, stood out as a masterpiece, showcasing the winery's commitment to producing wines that are not only delicious but also an expression of the terroir.
The tasting experience itself was a journey of the senses. The knowledgeable and passionate staff guided us through the nuances of each wine, sharing stories that added depth and meaning to the tasting. Their enthusiasm was contagious, making the experience not just educational but also incredibly enjoyable.
The attention to detail extends to every facet of the visit, from the well-appointed tasting room to the personalized service. The staff's commitment to ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued is commendable and contributes to the overall warmth and hospitality of the estate.
In summary, Stag's Leap Wine Cellars is a must-visit destination for wine enthusiasts and anyone seeking a refined and enchanting escape. The combination of outstanding wines, a stunning property, and a top-notch experience make this winery a true gem in the heart of Napa Valley. My visit left an indelible mark, and I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to return to this vinous haven.

Fantastic tasting in a perfect setting. Price for the tasting was $75 which includes all their top wines. If you are a fan of their wines, worthwhile to join their wine club as it will waive the tasting cost along with 4 guests. Also there is a 20% discount to purchasing wines at the vineyard.

We had a great time at Stag's Leap, where we attended the celestial wine and food pairing. Despite being longtime members, we had never before taken the cave tour, which turned out to be a great experience guided by the knowledgeable and personable sommelier, Justin. While the food didn't quite satisfy our palates, the wines, particularly the Fay and Cask 23, were exceptional. Stag's Leap continues to impress us, and we eagerly look forward to future visits as dedicated members.

One of the best Winery tasting experiences I've ever had. And I've had quite a few. This is a must if you're in Napa Valley. The staff were absolutely excellent and are specific wine tasting guide Aaron was awesome!

We came for a wine tasting and loved it. We were a group of 7 but had to be seated as 4 and 3, which turned out completely fine. The room is intimate (and gorgeous) and we could still go over and talk to each other after the tastings were finished. Our host at the table of 4 was genuinely one of the best guides/hosts/waiters/whatever I've had maybe ever- he cared, he knew his stuff, and he made sure we had fun. The wine was delicious, if a little pricey. Definitely recommend.

Came here 6 years ago (from Belgium) with our kids, had a great time. Came back last week on some sort of pilgrimage and were extremely disappointed. The staff was really unfriendly and quite arrogant. The overall atmosphere was just stuck up and cold. Great wines but better to be enjoyed elsewhere.

Our visit last weekend left us extremely disappointed. Having enjoyed incredible experiences at six wineries prior, we had high expectations, but unfortunately, our time here was underwhelming.
While the wine itself is undoubtedly fantastic, the tasting experience left much to be desired. Our host was dividing attention between our table and another, which created a somewhat awkward atmosphere and left us feeling undervalued as guests. We have never shared a host at other wineries, especially not at a "top-tier" winery.
Moreover, the tasting pours were just over an ounce each, resulting in a total of only 16 ounces of wine for our party of four, yet costing over $400. This pricing felt disproportionate, especially considering we could have purchased all four bottles featured on the tasting menu and enjoyed them at our leisure on the terrace.
For those seeking both exceptional wine and a memorable experience, I would recommend exploring alternatives such as Chappellet, B Cellars, or Nickel & Nickel. Not only do they offer fantastic wine, but they also provide an exceptional experience.

We visited in late April 2023 and the service was amazing and the wine was excellent. My wife and I enjoyed their Estate Collection Tasting Flight with Justin and everything was absolutely wonderful. We highly recommend this tasting experience if you’re traveling to Napa!

We had an amazing time with Terri! She was informative and her sense of humor made our day. My husband and I came from North Carolina and were able to experience an amazing tasting with great wine and a nice charcuterie board. We also met another person who was leading tours, Josiah (?). He was so funny and full of personality. Everyone at this winery made our experience so good and we highly recommend going here for an great and beautiful experience.

A very enjoyable wine tasting. We were able to try 5-6 wines. Great indoor experience looking right at the mountains. The way they created the indoor space makes you feel like you’re outside and an arms length from the vines. Mo was great!

This is a required stop when in Napa Valley. The reds are amazing. This was our second visit, and it did not disappoint. We did the celestial tour and tasting this time, and the food paired exquisitely with the wines. Their S.L.V. and Cask 23 are our favorite.
The Uptown Theatre is an intimate art deco concert hall located in downtown Napa. It features the best acts in music and comedy, and has played host to some of the biggest names in entertainment. The Uptown is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike, with its phenomenal performers and great stage.
First time at this theatre. Saw Lindsey Buckingham perform onstage. Had 5th row, center seats and it was incredible. Clean restrooms. There is a bar too. We were so close that I felt like I could reach out and touch the performers. Comfortable seats and enough leg room for some that is tall too. Would definitely return to see another performance.

We saw Dogstar at the Uptown Theatre. This is a classy small theatre that has plenty of room in between seats. We had a couple of bottles of Mumms champagne. We sat on the left side of the orchestra seating area. Great fun!!

Very nice venue. Not a bad seat in the house. Staff is very nice and helpful. The lobby serves beverages of all kinds. Restrooms are very clean and nice. Have to show ID and vaccination proof and submit to search of your purse, backpack, or any carry in. They also do a non-evasive wand body scan for entry. We've been there twice now and enjoyed both shows. Recommend it highly.

Great space and design, security just needs to be mote on the ball. Someone decided to freak out at the Adam Carolla show and it took them a while to get it under control. P.S. stay home if you take comedy personally.

There isn't a bad seat in the house. Mix and acoustics were great - compliments to the sound / tech guys and the band!
Only drawback at the uptown is all they offer is alcoholic drinks as far as we could see.
Pick up a pie at Nations across the street to enjoy at home afterward!

Great little venue, even from way back. Sound carries well with no reverb or echo, and visibility is good from most seats. We were in the balcony, about the 3rd row for the very back and my image shows the stage without zoom. The staff were super nice. Drinks are a little pricey, but the lower ticket price offers that quite a bit.

Large enough to support A-list acts. Intimate enough to have no bad seats. AND there's a Nation's Giant Hamburger place a block away that's open late for post-show munchies. A great venue -- go catch a show!

Beautiful theater!!! Could use some handrails going up the stairs.

Comfortable seats, good drinks and the sound system was easily heard, not too loud. The restroom is easily accessible and the view of the stage was unobstructed. I will definitely go back.

Really enjoyed my recent experience at the Uptown Theatre! We went to see Weird Al in concert here at the Uptown Theatre in downtown Napa.
Really liked the decor on the ceiling inside the theatre. Really liked the inside set up as it was easy to get to our seats. Purchasing a beverage was close and convenient as well. On top of that the setting is really intimate which makes for a great concert experience seeing your favorite artists. I would definitely come back here again to see some of my favorite artists perform!
Great venue!

Wow, what a wonderful theatre!! I don’t believe there’s a bad seat in the house…even for those of us a bit vertically challenged! Seats were comfortable with great visibility, the acoustics were also perfect and entry and exit were seamless. Staff overall were pleasant, but I learned of an unnecessary and violence provoking experience that two of my family members experienced. When the show was over the staff was trying to get people to vacate and also trying to separate lines of patrons and one of the security guards pushed two of my female family members each in their chest…which should only be necessary during an emergency. Security needs to be educated on proper use of force…. Due to this incident I need to drop my rating down a star. Parking…there’s parking lots that surround the district and we had no issues with parking or departure.

We go to a lot of shows all over the Bay Area (usually around 40-50+ a year) and the Uptown is easily our favorite venue. It’s a beautifully restored theater with a fantastic staff of professionals. The house sound system is excellent and sound engineers consistently do an outstanding job. Erica is the manager and I see her before, during and after every show. She’s always there welcoming guests as they arrive and she sees to it that everyone has a great experience every time. Parking is free, easy and safe and there’s a nice selection of great restaurants within walking distance. The Uptown is about 45-50 minutes North of where we live in Walnut Creek. SF has The Fillmore, The Independent, GAMH, The Warfield (and many others) and is a little closer but we don’t feel safe around them any longer. I can’t think of another venue that has it all like the Uptown in Napa.

Great venue for live music. No bad seats in this place! Even up high in the theater you are less than 200 feet from the stage. Great sound every time we have gone. Parking is a breeze and there are many restaurants within walking distance.

What a great venue. Came here for the first time to see Blackberry Smoke. We will be back. Pics are from out seat, we were in row R. Seats are comfortable to sit in. Staff that I encountered were very friendly and helpful.

We had end seats but a young attendant instructed us to "climb over" the group that were in our seats instead of asking them to move. We didn't mind at all, but it created a huge mess requiring a complicated game of musical chairs at intermission. The staff who fixed it were wonderfully patient and kind!!
The ambiance at Regusci Winery is delightful, with fresh produce harvested directly from their farm. Customers can take home a share of the harvest and pay what they feel is reasonable. The wine selection is top-notch with the zinfandel being a particular standout. Host Hannah exudes excitement and makes for an enjoyable conversation partner. Rascal, the charming dog, adds to the experience.
If you are a lover of Cabernet wines then Regusci is a must on your list! Regusci was recommended by a friend who is a Somm and boy….the wines did not disappoint. Make sure you make an appointment a head of time to enjoy the full experience. We did not have an appointment, we took a chance and stopped by just to purchase a bottle. Fortunately a group was very late for their experience which allowed us to enjoy a tasting as well as a walk around the property.
The ranch is now on its 5th generations of farming/wine making having purchased the land in the 1930’s. It’s a great story with original barns on the property. If you enjoy flavors like blackberry, deep cherry, hits of vanilla, black currants or drinking a chewy Cab with a smooth finish put Regusci on your list. And….. I have to say their staff is equally as great as their wines. Enjoy!!!!!
Susan Wright — Google review
This is truly a special place! The presentation of the outstanding Regusci wine selections is memorable not only for the quality of their product but also due to the smile provoking layout of the vineyard, grounds and architecture of buildings. Additionally the staff are second to none. You gotta get to this winery.

Probably my favorite winery on our trip to Napa. Picturesque vineyard with a long history, which our knowledgeable host Paige explained to us on a brief tour of the estate -- including a visit to the goats. Sitting on a covered patio for our tasting, we had a perfect view of the vineyards and surrounding countryside. Each wine was a winner. We bought a Cab Franc and a Cab Sauv, wish we'd bought more. Definitely will stop by Regusci on my next visit to Napa.

I really loved the atmosphere here. All the vegetables and fruits were fresh picked right off the vine from the farm. We were allowed to take some home and pay what we thought was fair. The wine itself was wonderful and we ended up buying three bottles to take home. My favorite is the zinfandel. Our host Hannah was enthusiastic and overall a joy to talk to. I'd have to say my favorite part of this tasting was Rascal! He's a dog with lots of personality and just hams it up. I wish all wineries had dogs!

If you’re looking for a collection of unique reds that you can only access through the winery, Regusci is for you.
The experience is calm and relaxing and once you get into the high caliber reds you’d better get your credit card ready. You’re going to shop, especially if you get to try the wine club only reds. They are amazing.
Because they stay true to farming you’ll also be able to buy farm grown lemons, oranges and other farm fresh produce.
If you can get an appointment, go.

Del Dotto Historic Winery & Caves is a restored winery and vineyard featuring 19th century caves for aging wine. The cave environment is perfect for storing and aging wines, and there are tours available to learn more about the winery's history.
Exclusive, ambient, personal, and overall excellent experience!!!
Of all the vineyards we’ve been to, this has now taken the top spot!
Such a private and intimate setting, amazing guides/hosts, and the wine- oh sooooo elevated and fine!
Our guide Kyle was amazing, super knowledgeable, and there’s just something great about being able to taste wine straight from the barrel- raw and exquisite at the same time!

Decent tour and the wines were good. Compared to some of the other wineries in the area, it was okay. If you're looking for a lot of sampling, this is your tour. They're not shy about offering a little more, but it felt too much like a sales tactic to get you to buy their expensive bottles. The cave was cool and was the highlight of the visit. You get to taste a lot out of the barrel, but I wish you could compare the barrel to the bottle for a better experience. Your tour also includes a pizza in the middle of the tasting, which throws off your palette. For the price of the tour, I'd look elsewhere first.
Also, the tour guide did not wear a mask and the entire tour was indoors. As soon as you have a glass you're encouraged to remove your mask.

I have never felt less welcomed by anyone involved with wine or hospitality or even anyone full stop. Although we didn't partake in any wine or tours unfortunately, however, after asking if there was availability to be looked up and down then visibly judge upon appearance and then treated in an manner at best curt and at worst rude I am glad. Our driver had recommended this vineyard as they had previously been many times and couldn't talk highly enough of it.
As someone who was previously involved in wine tasting and buying but more on the European scene I was so looking forward to visiting a few vineyards to get a true feeling for the valley. I now wish I had stuck to the oroginalmplan and stayed in the first vineyard. Such a shame that no had told the person responsible for welcoming people that first impressions last a lifetime and are very hard to change.

Thank you Phillip for the knowledge, great food, and great wine! Learned a lot about the oak treatment process and how that affects wine taste (for otherwise identical wines), but in the future would love to see older wines on offer for tasting to experience the difference between younger and older wines side by side. Would also appreciate more history behind the mines - didn’t cover any of the hardships the Chinese immigrants had to go through in the late 1800’s that are core to the history of this winery

A beautiful winery. Some construction going on at this time. If you love Italian wines, you will love the wines here. There was no power in the caves today which was disappointing. No compensation was offered nor were we notified of this prior to the tour. I would have booked a cave tour another day if we had known. Our guide was great. Do recommend. Just wish they were up front regarding the power outage that did occur.

It was my first time tasting wine out of a French & American oak barrel in a cave and the experience was phenomenal. Thomas, our guide/sommelier, made it fun and he’s so charismatic. The fresh-in-house pizza that they served at the end of the tour was yummy. The whole staff and venue was outstanding. The tour and cost of the wine was worth it.

They are known for their excellent location and welcoming atmosphere, with employees like host Ali being described as personable and sweet.
My favorite this trip. Good wines, great experience. Accommodating. Helped someone in our group have more understanding of the wines and differences as well as offered other tastings specific to their preferences.. As usual, the new architecture for wineries along the Silverado Trail did not disappoint. The service at Clos du Val was a hit and miss. Prior to getting to the winery we tried contacting to make a change to the reservation, good thing we emailed days in advance because it took a few days to get back us. The service was average once we were there for the tasting, and the customized tasting menus for each party were a nice personalization touch. The wines reminded us of t many other wines we’ve had in the past, but the 2016 Three Graces Cab hit the spot so we had to purchase. We were pleasantly surprised to know that our tastings would be comped if our wine purchases exceeded the price of our tastings, versus other spots where you need to purchase a certain number of bottles to waive each tasting. Only down side was that I had to remind them afterwards that I didn’t get the credit/refund. So overall, we’d return but only now that we know what we know and ensure the bills are all settled prior to leaving to the next stop.

Its a beautiful Winery with gorgeous vineyards. During our last visit we made advanced reservation for wine tasting. We got outdoor tasting. Our experience was amazing they really have very good selection of wine. I wished they had kitchen so that while tasting wine we could even eat something light kind of finger food. Friendly staff. Interior of the winery was beautifully decorated. Its not kids friendly, we took our kids with us but they were getting bored, I asked the server if they have any thing for kids to drink(non alcoholic) like grape juice, Which other wineries provide but they said the don’t have anything for kids, which I can understand other than that it was a pleasant experience. We bought some wine to home too.

Very nice wine tasting experience. The property is ornate and beautiful. The wine was accompanied by pistachios imported from Iran and in-house marinated olives. The wines were very good, so we ended up picking up two bottles Duel, which is only available at the winery, and as a result, they waived one tasting fee.

I live in Northern California, after seeing the Persian BBC program about this farm, I came to this farm 5 years ago and I have witnessed the beauty and splendor of the architecture of this building.
It was the quality wines of that farm that made an impression, I was born in Shiraz and Shiraz or Siras wine is not just a wine with a magical taste for me, but it has the identity and authenticity of a product.
I suggest everyone to go to this farm once and have a different experience.

I fall in love with this winery . Besides the good reviews, what caught my attention was the beautiful architecture of this place . This beautiful place transports you to Europe. Everything is done in detail, the decoration of the main hall left me speechless. The staff is extremely professional and attentive. Something that I loved was the courtesy of bringing us a 5th wine to try, my favorite was undoubtedly the cavernet savignon, who is if I am not mistaken the house specialty.

This place is super cool! I love the whole theme here! But everyone’s pictures and videos from social media make it seem larger. it’s a lot smaller than what it looks like on social media. The tastings were great. Some of my favorite wines were here. The person serving us was very informative, but he just seemed very catty, which we did not appreciate. What made up for it was the scenery, and the actual taste of the wine and the pairings. The food yum! The tour was just OK. I would not do the tasting again, but I would go back for the wine, but definitely not the service…. when a beacon is lit it means the owner is there.

Definitely the best winery we visited. We signed up for the Invitation Only tasting and pairing. Our host was very cordial and informative. We were even able to sample a reserve wine from the cask. The food pairing was perfect.
We were seated in a private dining room lined with wine bottles. The ambience was intimate and convivial. As we went through one wine at a time a server brought out a variety of small plates ranging from caviar, raw fish, truffles and fatty meat.
I generally do not drink white wines, especially chardonnay but the chardonnay we tried was heavenly. Exceptionally smooth, well balanced fruit, acidity, and oak. The red wines were also exceptional. The cabernet had intense fruit, balanced tannins and acidity with a long and complex finish.
The wines are quite expensive but leaps and bounds above the other wines we tasted in Napa. Highly recommended if you are willing to spend $200/person and $200+/bottle.

20/10 location to visit if you are in Napa Valley! Not only are these my favorite Cabs in the valley but the staff is unmatched too. Sierra does a great job at explaining all of the wines and walking you through the valley throughout the experience. Pictures are from their new vineyard experience which is an incredibly view of the valley and would absolutely recommend trying that out as part of the experience. Tasting room DT is great vibes as well!

I can't speak much to this. I was there with a friend who bought some items. They seemed happy with the purchase and was able to get help from the staff when called upon.

We did a spontaneous wine tasting (four wines, 45$) and are totally in love with all the wines we tried. The people were super friendly. Unfortunately we don‘t know the name of the guy who did the tasting with us. But we learned so much about Napa, the geography and history of the region and of course the wines. Thank you so much for the nice experience! Highly recommended.
Greetings from the two Theresas from Munich!

It was ok. Just OK. The wines were nice but the service was, at first, lacking. The lady seemed disinterested. Then we struck up a conversation with the young chap who had only just begun working there and he was great. Nice guy with great people skills. A gentleman. The wines were good and it's affordable so do give it a try. I think that I personally prefer the tastings at a vineyard as it's much more relaxing.

The servers were super friendly and helpful, they guided is through their wine collection and told us a great deal about the history of the establishment.
They really knew their stuff and are very personable. I would dedicatedly return again. The wines were good of course!
We got 50%off on the tasting because we used the discount card that's available at the visitors center.

I didn’t realize being friendly would be perceived as drunk. But to Lisa that is what it means. We purchased a bottle of wine but she wouldn’t let me finish it with the rest of my group. Yes, the wine was good but unfortunately the service could not meet the standard.

Lisa is such a delight. I have been back 3 times in the last 6 months because obviously the wine is great, but she creates such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere I think of going to Mark Herald as my first stop in Napa Valley. Thanks Lisa!

Would not recommend this establishment. My Wife and I bought a wine tasting pass that incuded this tasting bar, but they turned away our business because "they don't accept the pass on weekends." As a small business owner of 15 years I have learned not to turn away any business - especially when you pay to have your name published in the visitor guide. On top of that, the bartender was extremely rude about the whole situation. I have never seen a small business survive that turns away tourism, I was really disappointed with this wine bar.

We've been a wine club member here for a couple of years and so took some friends to the tasting room there while visiting in May. The service was pretty crummy. The make bartender spent most of his time kibitzing with a table of women, when he wasn't taking a smoke break, and the female bartender yakked most of the time with a friend. Meanwhile, our glasses sat empty more than they did with wine in them and a wine order our friends placed never got nto the system. Thinking about cancelling our membership.
Cru is a great place to wine taste and the staff is amazing. The Annex has a cool vibe and it's perfect for hosting small gatherings.
We found Cru after lunch at Oxbow and loved it! Everyone was very friendly and the wine was outstanding. Cool atmosphere! I would definitely go back.
