The Cascades Raptor Center is a nature preserve that showcases close to 50 birds of prey in spacious outdoor enclosures. In addition, the center houses a wildlife hospital. The birds serve as ambassadors for their species and educate visitors on the importance of responsible interaction with nature. All bird exhibits are located outdoors, so visitors should plan their trip accordingly. A recommended visit time is around 2 hours and checking out the center's website beforehand can enhance the overall experience.
This place is AMAZING! My daughter and I love raptors and had wanted to check this place out for awhile~we weren't disappointed! They give birds that can't be in the wild a 2nd chance at a wonderful life!! So many gorgeous raptors: owls, eagles, hawks. It was well worth the $10 entry and I would highly recommend anyone who loves raptors to go spend a few hours here. We even got to see the tiny Saw-whet owl have a feeding with one of the caretakers/handlers! Just an overall beautiful place and I will definitely be going again.

Awesome day at the cascades raptor center, staff were very friendly and welcoming. Hans (eagle owl) did a fantastic training session that we got to witness with the chance of taking some up close photos of him flying. Would definitely recommend going, good fun for all ages and just a short 10 minute drive from town.

All I can say is “WOW”!! I went with my sister in law, her 3 kids (ages 1.5 -9) and my wife. The kids had a BLAST! Even the youngest was completely entertained the whole self guided tour. The staff was wonderful and so excited for the kiddos to be there! Our absolute favorite part was that all of the owls had a toy ball that they were holding as they slept, it was the cutest thing we’ve seen! On top of that, 3 resident bald eagles is not something you want to miss!
I’m personally a raptor enthusiast with falconry experience and I was so impressed by the standard of care for these amazing birds! Their enclosures are more than appropriate sizing, clean and they have enrichment inside their enclosure as well as an area for their handlers to take them for further enrichment. We will be back for sure!
* It is an outdoor tour, dress appropriately for the weather & be prepared for your toes to be cold! Parking is a bit limited so I would make sure to plan to potentially walk a bit!

We had a great time learning about the Birds of Prey housed at the Cascades Raptor Center. Since they are unable to be reintroduced to their wild habits these birds spend their day being ambassadors to their species and teaching the public about the importance of protecting and interacting appropriately with the natural world.
As you would expect, all the bird exhibits are outside so you'll want to plan your trip accordingly. In my opinion 2 hours was plenty of time to see everything. For a better experience consider checking out their website before you go!

You know when you go to a zoo or something and you look into an enclosure and you can’t see an animal? Just a dark, depressing cage?
Well, this place is not like that.
Granted, it was a weekday, the weather was clear and cool, and there were no crowds.
But this place is special. The birds are so healthy, so chill, and well cared for.
You learn a lot , too. Not only do the displays have great info about the species, but there are separate signs that tell the story about the individual birds you are watching.
And these birds watch you right back. No odd behaviors, no cowering in dark corners .
Obviously this rescue and education center is doing many things right.

Son and I had an amazing time. We actually spent about 3 hours there. They had 35 active aviaries on this day. The program is a must. Our celebrity for the 11:30 program was Dmitri the Eurasian Eagle Owl. We will definitely return!

A great activity to do during covid times. We were able to walk around outside in the fresh air and see amazing raptors up close that we may not otherwise get to experience. All of the animals were very comfortable in their environments and well taken care of. Clean trails and not too busy. Fun for the whole family.

Amazing place to see amazing birds of prey! Some were very active when we visited. You may be able to watch a trainer feed or watch resident education raptors in action. Such great work this hospital and rehab does!

You get a map after you first buy tickets, and walk around see each kind of large bird. Kid friendly, and you get free water.

Wow awesome place to see a great group of raptors. Each one has a good enclosure with a quick blurb about their history (along with the typical species information placard). Staff is friendly and informed. Worth the visit (can be a quick 45 min trip if you want, or extend it out for an enjoyable two hour visit).

I went there i spent about two hours walking around and checking out the birds and learning a lot from the information panels. The staff are super friendly and can answer questions. it is really neat to see them training the birds! You never guess how big a Bald Eagle is until you see them up close. They are huge!
It is a great way to spend some quality time with your family and friends. Super great for schools to take students to.

Loved this place! We visited on a Saturday morning. No lines but parking lot was almost full when we arrived. No big crowds. We enjoyed the staff who were very friendly and welcoming. Great enclosures with access to see each bird. Each bird has a sign giving that bird’s history. Very enjoyable experience. The air was a fragrant forest. Nice and peaceful, quiet. Located in the forest. Highly recommend. Great for kids and adults alike. Cool gift shop.

This place is pretty amazing! Such a wide variety of raptors, including several types of owls, kestrels, falcons, vultures, hawks and eagles. The Bald Eagles are worth the visit just to see them up close, but I think my favorite is the Barn Owl which came from Junction City. Very educational, and a great experience for people of all ages. Walk through at your own pace, and walk around the different areas as many times as you want.

Amazing experience learning about and visiting a variety of birds most people wouldn't have the opportunity to interact with. Staff were very helpful answering questions. The birds get super excited and animated when trainers visit with treats. Great visit.

The kids loved all the birds but the Bald Eagle and the Peregrine Falcon were they’re favorites. Small preserve but well maintained. Parking is very limited but you can park across the road near the hiking trail.
The University of Oregon is a public research school established in 1876, renowned for its impressive sports and education programs. The campus boasts attractive landscaping and immaculate buildings, including restrooms that are regularly sanitized to comply with COVID-19 regulations. Approximately 95% of the students appear to be modest and grounded based on first impressions. The area surrounding the university is secure and hygienic for deliveries during weekdays but bustling with life on weekends when classes are in session.
Beautiful landscaping around very clean buildings inside and out. Even the restrooms. Definitely covid-19 compliant. 95% of the kids I run across there are pretty down to earth and humble or at least seem to be by first impression. I do a lot of deliveries in that area and it's safe and clean but on the weekends during the semesters is not so much quiet but definitely alive. Helps this middle age guy I feel young.

Always a great day spending time at the University of Oregon. Autzen pretty much the only venue that needs more major upgrades. Remember to take lot's of extra money, expect any purchases to empty the wallet. Go DUCKS!

I worked at the U of O today and was amazed at how big everything seemed, especially when there were hardly any people there. On the other hand i did get to see the Ducks football team as they walked by on their way to practice and even they seemed just as big as the mammoth architecture that surrounded us.
Autzen Stadium is an open-air football stadium with a seating capacity of 54,000. It was constructed in the year 1967 and serves as the home ground for University of Oregon Ducks. The stadium boasts of a vibrant atmosphere that attracts both fans and non-fans alike. The seating arrangement is such that there are no bad seats in the house.

My 4 star rating is simply not a 5 star rating because every year I go to almost every home game, and every year the freaking Ducks lose in November…AT HOME…AT NIGHT!!! Win the night games man stop choking at home. Love the Stadium though. Fans, they’ve been to spoiled over the years so the crowd acts bored a lot of times….Not like the good ole Chip Kelly days where there was a legit buzz in the stadium constantly. Anywho, GO DUCKS 🦆
Savannah F — Google review
The stadium is ginormous and beautifully sculpted. It in itself, even with being concrete, is very naturally feeling, and you can very easily find seat covers that are comfy. A nice generous shade is given by an overhead Oregon timber plateau, absolutely stunning.

Love this stadium and its atmosphere. I am biased because I'm a die hard duck fan but I just took my wife to her first ever duck football game and I was reminded that there really isn't a bad seat in that stadium. Definitely watch a game here even if you're not a fan of the school because it's just tops in my opinion.

Going to Autzen stadium is always a great experience! Getting into the game was smooth with no issues
We loaded up on some pizza and beverages that tasted great and always overpriced (think carnival prices) but part of the deal.
Had some great seats section 35 row 22. The view was very good and the the Megatron helps when the crowd gets wild.
Getting out after the game took a while but we stood in line for our shuttle which went smoothly too. Just know you have to wait for a bit but the shuttle ride went great too.
Definitely recommend going if you haven't gone before.

Had a great time with friends and family. Staff was friendly for the most part. It would be nice if there were more choices for food. One thing that did surprise me, the players didn't high-five or even wave to the little kids who waited forever to see them. Sad!

By far the loudest I've ever heard a group of people be. Sometimes it's so loud you can't even feel the vibration of your own voice to know that you are speaking (or, more likely, screaming). Autzen is a unique experience, and a difficult one to rate on a five-point scale.
If you are looking for an absolute party of game, Autzen is for you. Like a party though, if you aren't a little buzzed you may notice that your feet are sticking to the floor, the bathrooms could use some renovation, and the crowd is a bit obnoxious. The seats are basic benches (no seat backs in the cheap seats), the design of the stadium can require a lot of hiking up and down steps (depending on where you're seated), the end zone monitors are dated, and--it's worst feature in my opinion--the sound system is way too loud and screeches mono-like from only the east end zone.
Lastly, plan ahead. The last two times I've gone getting a ride home after the game has been a challenge. Have a clear plan of exit.
The Eugene Saturday market is a weekly event held in a park where over 200 local artisans showcase their unique wares. There are food vendors and live music to enjoy as well. The market opens at 9:00 AM and closes at 6:00 PM only on Saturdays, hence its name. Visitors can stroll around the market to see different artists' works, including handmade plates and necklaces.
The Eugene Saturday market just added a pavilion which is nice even when it rains. In spring time the market has a great section of plant starts from local farms. We picked up tomatoes and peppers.
If you like hot sauce check out Fox Farms they have mild to wild sauces with a wide variety of flavors and it’s made locally.
Ryan Ebert — Google review
It is nice, they have lots of food and options to choose from and lots of things to buy like plates necklaces and much more. The reason I didn't give it a 5 star was because there is almost no water places, there is one but that a one has been there for years, so I don't drink out of it. The people set up at 9:00 AM and close at 6:00PM only on Saturdays thought. That's why its called Saturday Market.

Construction is happening! All the roads around the blocks here at Saturday Market are blocked off, have been, and it sucks! I think the roads are be repaved. 8th avenue was pretty bad, I guess. Also, the deck in front of the courthouse has been completely blocked from anyone attempting to get out of the heat and do their beloved Saturday Market socializing ritual. Also, horrible! 😞 I miss seeing my friends and enjoying the drum circle without getting pushed by sales tables or run over by shoppers!! 😭 Also, it seems that sales tables are allowed to use park benches for their wares and/or storage/personal use, literally NO WHERE TO SIT BUT DOG GRASS. Finally, NO DOGS ALLOWED! This is a recent development and in speaking to a local resident, very unpopular, confusing, and upsetting. I wondered if it was for safety due to the construction, but as far as the resident that I spoke to, this is a permanent decision that's made a significant group of people very frustrated. Expensive.

The Owen Rose Garden is a lovely park featuring stunning floral displays, picnic areas, biking and pedestrian paths, and a performance space. This serene garden also boasts the oldest cherry tree in Oregon, which dates back to the mid-1800s when it was planted by Eugene Skinner. Visitors can enjoy free access to this rose garden and take in the beautiful flowers throughout June as well as other times of year.
June was a great time of year to go there. Roses were still blooming.
There is a bathroom close by and the rose garden is free to the public.
Also it is home to the oldest cherry tree in Oregon, Owen Cherry Tree.
It is believed this tree was planted in the mid 1800’s by Eugene Skinner, founder of the City of Eugene in 1853. The tree is within the boundaries of Skinner’s 1846 land claim.

There were so many different colors and varieties of roses it was unreal! Simply beautifully kept grounds, great accessible walkways, and even though we snagged the last parking spot available it did not feel crowded in the garden as walkways were wide and people kept their distance. I did notice some sketchily parked vans/vehicles, which I assume people were living in, sprinkled about the parking lot, which made the experience feel tarnished as the homeless population in this area can be a bit aggressive and dangerous. But overall it was an amazing place to visit and I would recommend! Just make sure to lock your vehicle and keep your kids close!

This was a beautiful stop, we where nicely surprised with how many people where visiting so early in the morning.
On the side of caution just make sure your car is locked as homeless sleeping under bench and another allowing dog to run around with no leash .

Amazing care and cleanliness of this park.
June is one of the best months to visit; almost all the garden is fully blooming and all the flowers are opened and vibrant.
Great for photography sessions.
There are benches located around the park, as well as restrooms.
No fee to enter or park.
Many picnic areas for group reunions, proposals, wedding pics, etc.
The neighborhood around is ok, some of the streets are not the best; but the park itself is beautiful, clean, great condition and safe.
We didn’t find any homeless people, but the area before getting there showed that there were some.

Oh, Owen Rose Garden, you bloomed your way into my heart and made me feel like a botanical connoisseur! Now, let's dive into this bloomin' awesome review.
First off, let me just say that even though not all the roses were in season, it didn't dampen my spirits one bit. This garden was a sight to behold! It was like stepping into a fragrant wonderland where colors and scents danced together in perfect harmony. I found myself surrounded by nature's artwork, and oh boy, it was a feast for the eyes and nose!
Now, here's where the comedic plot twist comes in. Picture this: I'm strolling through this serene garden, feeling all zen and at peace with the world when suddenly, out of nowhere, a heated bike argument breaks out! Yep, you heard it right. Apparently, those folks on their two-wheeled contraptions couldn't agree on whose turn it was to ring the bell. Talk about a thorny situation in a rose garden!
But fear not, dear readers, for even amidst the bike-fueled drama, Owens Rose Garden remained a tranquil haven. The beauty of the flowers and the gentle rustling of leaves managed to calm my soul, despite the occasional bike-induced chaos. It was like Mother Nature herself was reminding me to stop and smell the roses, while also giving me a good laugh.
So, if you're in need of some floral therapy and a sprinkle of unexpected amusement, Owens Rose Garden is the place to be. Just remember to keep an eye out for those drama-seeking bicyclists. Five stars? Absolutely! Owens Rose Garden, you've shown me that even in the midst of floral tranquility, life can throw in a dash of comedy. Keep blooming and keep the bike battles entertaining!
Skinner Butte Park is a spacious area that offers various activities. Visitors can explore the well-maintained trails and climb the rocks, or enjoy creative play structures in the River play park. There are also plenty of spots to relax, such as benches and picnic tables near the playground. For those who prefer a more scenic view, hiking up to Skinner's Butte offers sweeping city and mountain views from several viewpoints at the top.
A beautiful view, breathtaking photo opportunity, trails for hiking, dog walks, and picnic areas. The oregon O is located here.

Loved the trails! Some are very easy and some are hard. Was a perfect 2.5 mile walk with great vantage sights!
Only downside is litter and graffiti bit it's a hiking butte in the middle of the city do not much one can do.

What a delight! We took the children to play in Discovery River park and they had so much fun! There are tables for picnics and lots of fun activities like climbing, swinging, playing in the water and so on!

simply LOVE this park gem. The play structures are built to mimic the look of trees and the kids love it. There is a water feature that some of us have yet to figure out-push a button to start the overhead system but the flowing river area--NO clue where to activate it. Pack a lunch and pick a table or tree spot on the river and ENJOY!

This is a beautiful park. The design is creative. The playground structure is about three floors. Younger children need to be supervised if it's their first time. The Willamette river runs along the park. There is a water fountain for children to get wet. There's a sand play area. It has plenty of parking. This kids can enjoy multiple activities. There's picnic tables, benches and plenty of grassy areas. It has multiple activities. Make sure to check out their website. It has rock climbing, fishing, biking, hiking, and so forth.

Great park. Just wach out for surenges and the men having sex in the bushes, other than that it's a nice park. I would not leave my kids there alone. With parent you should be fine. I haven't been there since the phentanil and homeless problems. It may have gotten worse. I grew up in Eugene. It's sad to see the way its going. Bad management of the coti and the police are pretty corrupt. I'm sure there are a few good cops. I just never met them or saw them. They are rude people with a big chip on thier sholder. They target the poor and people of color. Just wanted to warn you. Not trying to be a jerk. Just my personal experience growing up in the area. I saw them behaving like that my whole life. It's like they were trained to be abusive to the public. They remind me of gang members. Except the gang members were more polite and helpful than the police. Check any area your children are going to play in for surenges. Not kidding around. Check picnic area as well. It was not so bad when I was younger. Pay attention. Be careful, have fun. Carry narcon.

The hubs and I meandered this pretty setting while passing some time.
The soaring Doug Firs, the rhododendrons, the low laying native plants, are all so beautifully taken care of. My favorite was watching the squirrels create and live in their sweet habitats among the snagged trees that have been purposefully left behind. The park really is a great spot to meander, take in a view, and exhale a bit from the busy.

Cute park with a massive playground and open areas. The real gem are small pathways thru the treeline down to the water for a secluded spot to hang in the shade and listen to the water
Reana Youngblood — Google review
This area offers so much! There's the impressive River play park with lots of creative play structures. If you're feeling less active there's spots to lay down a blanket, benches to rest, and picnic tables nearby the playground to enjoy a snack.
We also enjoy the 20 minute hike up Skinner's Butte. The trails are well maintained and there are several trails winding around the Butte. At the top you'll enjoy the many view points and benches. If you don't feel like hiking you can drive up to the top.
If you're a bird lover you'll enjoy seeing the Bald Eagles that nest on the Butte, the Downy Woodpeckers, and the Turkey vultures to name a few.
The Hult Center for the Performing Arts is a contemporary establishment built in 1982 that boasts two auditoriums, a gathering place and public works of art. Visitors appreciate the venue's delightful ambiance, excellent sound quality and welcoming staff. Despite this, some individuals express dissatisfaction with high costs associated with attending events at the center. Nonetheless, many feel fortunate to have such a remarkable performing arts destination in their small community that rivals even Broadway theaters.
Beautiful venue! Well streamlined parking garage. Not for those with fear of heights if in the upper seats! They are very vertical. Sound and experience within the space was fantastic. Good "snack" options, although a need to spread out due to massive line during intermission. Carpeting needs updating. Visual architecture, lighting and art displayed were lovely.

So many amazing shows to see!
Ticket prices are affordable and seating is wonderful wherever you are. Sat in upper balcony for Les Mis and could see and hear everything perfectly. Great price on drinks too! My only complaint was that the bathroom situation gets extremely backed up during intermission but i guess that is to be expected with the number of people there.

As a kid, I have had a passion for theaters, art centers and opera houses. The chances of me ever coming here very slim, I live like five or six hours away. Now, however, I’m going to make an effort to come back and see a show or many shows here.
I love the location where it’s at Eugene city center is beautiful. Going inside it is a real special. Treat. The auditorium is beautiful. The acoustics are amazing. There’s such a rich history of legendary performers here. You can feel their history in the air it’s magical.
To top it all off the staff here is incredible! I could have stayed and listened to my main man Lee tell me stories and history about this place for hours.
If you have a chance ever to go here, I would highly recommend it even if it’s for a performance you’re not necessarily stoked about the vibes are at least worth checking out.

awesome atmosphere, great acoustics, friendly staff, first time our 3 year old went to a concert. One star off only because it was incredibly expensive. 70$ per ticket, 20$ parking, 13$ 'convenience' fee a person to conveniently print your own tickets at home for nose bleeds. maybe the most money I've spent for a 60 minute piece of entertainment for three people, especially a kids show.

I've seen many great performances here, but it's not a great place for those of us with mobility issues. Very steep stairs, long lines for elevator & bathrooms. Not much leg room. Leaving the main theatre, you have to be intent to grab the railing on the stairs as many people are moving beside you. Good acoustics, but frightening to navigate.

The Hult Center for the Performing Arts is an incredible and versatile space. I have seen music concerts, comedians, and performance artists, and attended Chef's Night Out. The grounds are impressive and easy to navigate. Eugene has drawn a variety of top-named acts. I appreciate not having to drive to Portland to
see a performance. Parking is not a problem and the nearby food options are plentiful. Getting tickets is safe and easy online or at the box office.

The Cult show was amazing. This is a great place to see a concert. Not really a bad seat in the house. Seats are standard auditorium, not uncomfortable but not luxurious. We sat near the sound board so the sound was really good. Staff were super friendly. Everyone had a good time.

Beautiful and stunning architecture at this concert hall of performing arts. A little old school retro three decker movie theater opera hall vibe with comfort but somewhat small but clean seats. The place has is attached to a multi-level parking garage, security scanners, stairs, elevator, concession stands with food and drinks at the ready, and of course restrooms and water fountains. Definitely a great place to take a date out too!

Waitress was so amazing! We are so blessed to have a performing arts center of this caliber in our “small” town. Staff is kind, professional and the venue is better than Broadway!
Ronald Ewert — Google review
The venue is quite easy to access, drinks are great quality, and snacks are on point. The performances here have quite a range from CineConcerts and Live dancing to plays and Orchestral scores. You'll even find comics performing there as well as bands. The auditory experience is stellar and I highly recommend attending a show here.

Attended concert featuring Snarky Puppy. (Top notch musicians playing jazz funk fusion) Was our first time at Hult Center and it is a very nice place with excellent sound & view/seats.We will definitely be going again to see music events. One of my all time favorite concert halls now. Easy parking in the garage and nice location as well.

Fairly new large theatre. I found the staff and show excellent. I only wish the theater was more intimate and did a better job a noise dampening, but I have found that most newer theaters aren’t great at that.

Beautiful venue. Kind and helpful staff. Awesome entertainment opportunities.
Parking can be troublesome so leave yourself plenty of time to park and get to the center and find your seats.
They now offer sensory bags which was helpful for my daughter and I. Ours contained a weighted lap pad, headphones, emotion regulation cards and a needs card, plus four different fidgets.
We will definitely be back!

This place is already awesome on its own but I loved how it was decorated for Christmas!! Absolutely beautiful! I love the silva theater and every seat is a good seat! We were in lower balcony row A. It's a little scary as the wall is very low!!! Take your time moving about! Everyone who worked there was exceptionally pleasant. They have mixed drinks, ciders, etc but no real food. Just cookies, candy, etc. We will be going back often as they offer many shows!!

The Hult is the venue that everyone knows about but not everyone goes to, and this fact makes my head hurt just a little bit.
They offer music, and radio shows, and apparently that blue dog show for kids that's not Blue's Clues.
Do me (and you) a favor and go see several shows a year at the Hult. No, I don't know what the name means, and neither does anyone else, but just go look at the calendar and pick something.

Wonderful venue! I've enjoyed many great shows here, most recently Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood who were fantastic. The one issue that comes to mind is that some of the seats are uncomfortably narrow. But I still give it five stars, and I'll just need to be more selective when buying tickets in the future.

This was our first time visiting the Hult Center. The parking was convenient and staffed with very kind and helpful people. The center itself is very nice. It could use more bathrooms for those intermission bathroom rushes. We were seated in the lower balcony, and the view was actually very nice and clear. The seats are mostly comfortable but are pretty straight, so long shows would require a stretch. Would go again!

Hayward Field is a historic sports stadium that houses the annual Prefontaine Classic and serves as the home venue of the Oregon Ducks. Recently renovated, it boasts an impressive makeover from its old design with all seats offering great views of the events below. However, visitors should be aware of potential hazards such as steep stairs and lack of coverage for some seats leading to warm temperatures during certain times of day.
The "historic" Hayward Field is gone. The new version is Amazing! Easy access, seats are comfortable. You can be right there at track level with runners a few feet away.

New Hayward is a new makeover from the old venue. If you're a fan coming to watch. Pay attention to the time of day, the overhang doesn't cover all the seats and it gets quite warm. Also the stairs are quite steep, careful on your way up and down. It's easy to miss your step if you're not paying attention. All the seats have great views of all the action below.

Great while your seat is in the shade, but if you're in the sun, even on a cooler day, you can suffer a severe sunburn, even with a hat and 50 SPF sunscreen. I would be very careful with children as I saw several sunburned babies.
We were there for the world championship track and field, and that event was amazing.

Oregon Track and Field Preview Meet tonight. First the Women's 10,000 and the Men's. The rest of the events are tomorrow. My first time in the Bizarro Too Much Money Flowing Into Oregon Sports World. Weird Arena. Do what. My biggest complaint is the dumbing down of the fans by the exclusionary seating, viewing, entrance/exit, the nonstop announcer talking at track and field fans like we wandered in from some fraternal order of a corn hole championship drink off. Nonstop music. How idiotic and bored do you think we are. Stop distracting us with the constant barrage of noise. Doubtful I will be back. I ran on this track as an 8 year old. Quarter Mile Cinder track. Yes, change is inevitable. I have been to countless meets here with various configurations of track surface and stadium's add ons. Always enjoyed myself. The Track as presented here is the antithesis of the jumbotron film celebrating Eugene Community supporting running and track. Wire your $&#@ and get it straight. The people who volunteer here are top notch. Aces High. I thank you.

Krystal Drummond — Google review
The heart of track and field beats in Eugene. The stadium has undergone a major renovation and while it's easy to miss the historic Hayward Field, the magic of this place is here to stay.
The fans in this stadium deeply understand the sport and their energy elevates every event from the longest distance race to the javelin. The athletes love it and consistently comment on the incredible crowds. It's the reason why so many legendary performances have happened here.
Sit in sections X12-X19 for great views of the first curve and the high jump. Sit in sections X01-X10 to cheer on the back straight, watch the field implements go sailing, or marvel at the pole vault. In sections 129-136 you'll have a front row seats to runners kicking in the last 200 meters. This also seems to be the spot where the most excited fans and athletes/coaches sit. Sections X20-X28 span the home straight so it's the best spot to sit for the triple jump, the long jump, the high hurdles, and the finish line. Beware that the sections on the northeast side from the over hang will be in the direct sun until late in the evening and aren't for the faint of heart on a hot day. Even still, in this one of a kind stadium is built just for athletics there isn't a bad seat in the house.

HOLY CRAP! That was the most fun I’ve had in Eugene so far! My wife and I are big glass blowing fans (if you haven’t yet, binge watch Blown Away and you’ll see why!) so when looking for a fun activity to do for our anniversary Studio West was an easy pick. I really didn’t know what to expect, I thought we’d get to choose the color of glass and get to watch; never did I expect a full on hands-on experience! Elenor was our teacher and she was absolutely amazing! So easy to learn from, very detailed and informative. She was so kind and really encouraging while you’re participating, very supportive and tells you exactly what she needs from you for your piece to come out perfect! The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art, established in 1933 and located on the University of Oregon campus, is renowned for its collection of Asian and Northwest art. The museum features exquisite galleries dedicated to exhibiting works from the 20th and 21st centuries. Visitors can enjoy a range of permanent exhibits alongside rotating/traveling projects that highlight cultural diversity while challenging preconceived notions about skin color.
This museum is a great place to visit for a surprisingly low price. Today i visited with my 11 year old and 21 year old children, and all three of us found the exhibits engaging. My 11 year old has visited multiple times since he was about 4, and has always been fascinated by everything. Definitely worth the visit for all ages, but not overwhelming for children, like larger art museums might be. Always highly recommended!

It was nice to have the exhibits to ourselves. Variety of art and cool gift shop for the very small size. It was nice to sit out on the courtyard to take a small breather and enjoy the cool cement benches. Since it's on campus of the university we also took a walk around and it was nice to see all the old brick buildings with architecture details such as faces etched into the buildings.

It's free if you're a student doesn't matter where you're a student so that was nice to learn. Not that $5 is a lot but it was nice that the person at the register informed us. The art was great, the security is a little overzealous with your proximity to the displays. I was pointing out how the vantage point of one of the exhibits changes drastically as you get closer. It was behind protective glass too.

We had a good day out with the family visiting Eugene, Oregon. We went to the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art at The University of Oregon that had some great ancient Gandhara Buddhist art, some great old wood carvings of Avalokiteshvara, a samurai suit that looked like it would have fit my 12-year-old daughter, some Chinese emperor court costumes, ancient Chinese pottery and carved glassware, some Eastern Orthodox Russian Icons, ancient Greek Pottery and some other neat stuff. It is not easy seeing ancient Buddhist art in Oregon, but this museum was definitely worth seeing and even had some extras that were great!

The Better Living Room by Ninkasi Brewing is a local-centric brewery that boasts of its patio seating, guided tours, and tasting room. The building has a spacious and modern design with functional layouts that make it an ideal space for big groups or day dates. The atmosphere in the tasting room is elevated, thanks to its well-decorated walls and open-air ambiance. Patrons can enjoy flights and food while they interact with friendly servers who are knowledgeable about the menu choices.
Dog friendly patio, have to enter in the back of the patio with the dog and the person checking in with the host has to go to the front inside of the large building. Varied, interesting menu. We got the cream ale, it was so good we got 2. The mussels in cream sauce was large and satisfying. The side salad for an extra charge of 2.00 turned out to be a wedge with several veggies that was unexpected and awesome. The fries are the hand cut style moist and crisp at the same time and perfectly salted. The half dozen oysters and the broiled oysters were nice and fresh. Also got the shrimp salad sandwich which was very fresh. The atmosphere outside was so park like and relaxing on the patio. Picnic tables and umbrellas in a circle so didn't feel like others were crowding you. Inside had lots of tables and an industrial feel. Very nice as well. They have their own parking lot and several buildings around them are also part of the brewery. You order and pay on the toast app making it quick and easy. This place is huge. Highly recommend.

When you walk into the Ninkasi Better living room you feel the 70s vibe from the chairs to the lava lamps. It’s a much more welcoming environment than the typical industrial factory with some tables and chairs that many breweries have.
We sat outside and there were umbrellas for every table. The food is good and I recommend the pretzel with Gouda dipping sauce. There is a great selection of Ninkasi beers many not available at your grocery store or bottle shop.
The flights of beer really give you a chance to try a few different flavors. Each beer on the flight came with an info card listing the flavors, hops used, and grains. Really good info for beer nerds. A major step up from other breweries I’ve been to where you get five beers and a piece of wood with some cryptic markings of what each beer is.

Food was delicious. Not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for in flavors and quality. The breading in my fish sammich was perfect and crisp. The mussels were tasty and the baguette was fresh. I really liked the online ordering and paying. The waitstaff did a good job and were prompt. The cream soda and non alcoholic drinks were nice, with a great selection. My only major gripe, which was more of being unaware and not a blatant error, was the person cleaning tables was spraying too far out from their target so we got doused with cleaning solution several times being in the downwind and I breathed it in so all I could smell was that for quite a while. Maybe spray the rag or closer to the table so nearby folk don't get hit with it or get it in their food. I was happy to have outside seating so I could bring our pup. We're always well prepared, but was so nice they offered to get us a doggy water dish. They have lots of outside seating. I was super happy with the menu selection as well. Definitely will go back and will recommend to friends.

My husband and I ate at The Better Living Room recently and had a great time. When I called to check the wait time, I was asked if I wanted to make a reservation.
I was able to make one and reserve a table, but the hostess kindly recommended seats at the bar instead as they were more comfortable and roomy than the high top we had reserved. (I was warned of this when I booked.)
We had a great evening. While they don't have many vegetarian options currently (my husband had the wedge salad), we knew that going in. I had the mussels and frites, and was pleasantly delighted that the mussels were well cleaned and did not have any sand particles.
We felt very welcomed by the staff and really enjoyed our evening out. Thank you!

Make sure you know EXACTLY where you are going, Ninkasi owns mutiple buildings on this block that are poorly labeled. Be prepared to seat yourself, order through an app at the table and be underwhelmed by the quality of food that comes out. Had I known the veggie burger was a huge baked yam patty with no greens and a greasy bun overloaded with cheese, or that the salmon caper salad meant small FLAKES of dried salmon and a caper DRESSING I wouldn't have ordered either of them. The over all space is really cool, it's dog friendly, the experience was interesting at most. Seems mostly like an expensive place to bring your kids to day drink, when you walk in it looks like a daycare. 🤷♀️

Bf and I came here on a whim - I was pleasantly surprised by the building. It was open and airy and felt ‘elevated’. It was well decorated - there was a very functional layout to the space.
It was clear that this was the common space for the office building before they opened it up -but very glad they did. It’s a great space for big groups. And can be great for day dates too!
We had flights and food and everything was great! We had great servers who were friendly and super helpful with the menu. They were easy to talk to which is always nice when you’re sitting at the bar. Definitely would come back here!

Excellent atmosphere. Excellent food! We can't wait to go back and try more menu items!! We had the Salmon mousse, the Wedge salad, Brussels sprouts with whipped blue cheese. So good! Not pictured- the Mushroom melt and Blue cheese popcorn. Everything was really great!
The Museum of Natural and Cultural History, affiliated with the U of O, is a small yet impressive institution that showcases ancient Northwestern peoples and their way of life, as well as the geology and botany of the region. The exhibits are interactive and informative, featuring videos and articles that cater to all age groups. The museum also boasts a fair-priced gift shop. Although it may be too small to spend more than an hour at a time, its layout makes it feel bigger than it is.
Cozy, organized with varied professional displays....and cheap! Love it. Would go back again and take family and friends. Docents we're helpful and friendly

BEST MUSEUM EVER! Huge bones, large skeletons and whatnot. It was like living a dream or a movie #nightinthemuseumvibes. This might be the Smithsonian! Super affordable and exhilarating. Not even and asteroid could take away my love for these prehistoric hunks. Consider me a frequency visitor!

I haven't been here in years! I took my niece on an outing and we had so much fun! The exhibits were incredible and informative, the National Geographic exhibit was great. We loved seeing the animals close up.

What a great location to learn about Native American, geology and ancient animals local to the Oregon. My 9 year old boy and I spent about 2 hours here discovering so many things.... like the Paisley "Poop"

It’s a beautiful museum in Eugene town, more proper for children I believe, there is a free parking available too. Ticket is 6 bucks.

They fit a lot in this museum. Loved the history with humans going back 14,000… and even farther back for amazing animals that we did not know existed, let along here in Oregon. Thank you

Great museum with many interesting, interactive, and well-curated exhibits! And it was free for me as a student which is always a big plus.

We had a great time. I suggest scheduling a couple hours so you don't have to rush the end.

A surprisingly interesting natural history museum. Look for a fascinating and respectful treatment of First Nation people and their path through present history.
Don't miss the museum's special exhibits. When I was there, I was amazed at how interesting (despite my misgivings) were the flora and fauna of Oregon's Pacific Ocean kelp forests.
And the museum is free of charge one day each week. A great bonus to any family or school group. Check out their website for details.

Small but nice little museum to take the family for quick educational trip. Clean facility and very friendly staff. Lots of exhibits to explore and interact with. Too small to enjoy for more than an hour but the layout is nice is makes it feel bigger than it is.

This Museum is right down the street from Hayward Stadium, I was with my son, daughter-in-law and my two grandkids. It was inexpensive to visit and interesting things to view. The staff was very courteous from the person who we paid our admission to as well as the employees would walk around and tell you information about the exhibits. Would recommend to families with kids ages 3 to 10.

My girlfriend and I came to this museum in October 2020. They had an exhibit about the history of African Americans in Eugene and Oregon in general. It was very interesting and educational. This is definitely a great museum.
