The Airborne & Special Operations Museum Foundation is an extensive exhibit featuring the U.S. army, airborne and special ops. It includes a theater, motion simulator, and various exhibits that display the history of soldiers who have sacrificed for their country's freedom. The museum is well-organized with memorial plaques and gardens to walk through. Admission and parking are free, but visitors are highly encouraged to donate so that this inspirational institution can continue to honor lost, current, and future soldiers.
A great afternoon to learn and pay respect to our lost, current and future soldiers who protect us from harm. Well organized and displayed. This exhibit is free but highly recommend a donation to keep such an inspirational institution going so that we never forget what our soldiers gave/give up for the freedom we take for granted.

I took my youngest daughter to see some of the history her father was a part of. The exhibits were exceptional. There was a point where my emotions almost got the better of me. This museum is filling a large void with regards to information on the sacrifices our men and women in the Armed Forces have made to better this country and the world! The Staff was excellent! Definitely going back soon and frequently.

As you walk through the doors of the U.S. Army Airborne & Special Operations Museum, you are immediately transported into the world of these elite soldiers. The museum's exhibits are designed to take you on a journey through the history of the Airborne and Special Operations Forces, from their early days in World War II to their current role in the Global War on Terrorism. It was a great experience.

An outstanding and highly recommended museum - to include free admission..!
Plenty of parking and there was a gift shop onsite, too.

A wonderful visit to the Airborne and Special Operations museum just outside of Fort Bragg! Definitely allow yourself at least 2 hours to tour the entire facility and watch a few video loops. Admission is free and so is parking, there is a lot to see around the museum, memorial plaques and gardens to walk through.

Very Awesome Museum! It was very fun and interesting to go there and learn all the history. It was extremely cool to see all the models. There is a great gift shop there too. Without doubt going to The Airborne Museum is a great opportunity to take advantage of!

Immersive. You feel like you’re walking through history. The mannequins are positioned so realistically. The exhibits are full of artifacts and interesting information. The layout of this museum is well thought-out.

Such a great homeschool field trip. There was so much to be taught and the museum does an excellent job illustrating the different roles and wars that took place. Can't believe it's donation only. They could easily charge a hefty entrance fee.

Time allocated: 3.5 – 5 hrs
Fantastic! If you are not interested in the military or history, you may be able to go through in an hour. But if you like military history, you may find yourself staying for several hours. Only thing that was evidently missing was a static display of the aircraft that supported the Airborne and Spec Ops. Granted there are a couple within the museum, but sadly there are no large outside exhibits.

Amazing museum! It's free and even kids will have a great time. The veterans memorial is on the other side of the road, which is also very interesting.

Amazing museum and wonderful staff. I can literally spend 4 hours here and still feel as though I'm missing important historical facts. Definitely recommend.

I could have spent three more hours in this museum. The dioramas are so well made. The stepwise sequencing of events from inception to present day ops was "loud and clear". Floor directional arrows would help, as well as increased air flow on the exit end of the display area. Well worth the time and donation money to see the details from a black project perspective.

This is a well done visual history with interesting artifacts and lifelike figures. Starts at 1940 and walks you through to current conflicts. The volunteer staff were kind and shared the path to take through the exhibit. While we didn’t get to experience the simulator because it was down for repairs, we spent 1 1/2 hours walking through reading and viewing the exhibits. As veterans, it’s hard to leave without being impacted by the men and women who have served our country. As a free museum, I would definitely recommend visiting.

Walked through today with my father in law. We were fasinated by the historical outlay of all the exhibits. The museum walks the patron through the history of ABN/SF one jump at a time. Every one should add this to their bucket list.
Nice location to take in some woodsy nature and fitness desires. There’s multiple trails that you can take that different distances and incline aspects. I like to visit the trail to clear my mind, and reset for the upcoming week. The gate closes at dusk so show up earlier in the day for the full experience. Biking, jogging or just getting your steps in. Dogs are welcome but it’s mandatory for a leash.

The Cape Fear Botanical Garden is a 77-acre public area that houses more than 2,000 different plant varieties. It features an arboretum and a children's garden, as well as several sections for walking and relaxing by the pond, under trees or in the gazebo. While some of the land is forested with trails, the garden itself has plenty to offer visitors all year round – even during winter.
This was the first time that I experienced going to the Holiday of Lights in the Garden after living here for 10 years. There were so many lights to see. I can’t believe that I waited 10 years to come and experience this place. My daughter went to see one of her friends perform at a Christmas Show. I am very pleased with the experience. This was my first time at the Botanical Gardens and it is beautiful out there. There were so many lights and different themes of lights to see. There were little areas of kid games, vendors and even informational booths from around the community. I love supporting local businesses and there was some fresh baked goods that I bought several items from. We had some hot cocoa and coffee from the coffee stands that were there. My daughter and her friend went into this big pipe and rolled down a hill. There were picture taking with Santa and the Grinch too. It is definitely a place I would go and visit again. Prices weren’t too expensive to go in and I remember being able to buy tickets online.

What a relaxing, educational and calming experience exploring the park. A very good place to just chill with nature whether you choose to do some walking, exercise, meditation, special occasions, play, or study the many varieties of plants, trees, and flowers, as well as the animals that complete this ecosystem.

Beautiful garden. Great for visiting or hosting events including weddings. Ample parking. Lauren (event coordinator) was really helpful and friendly. David was amazing as well. 12 hour rental. Worth your money but not flexible with media vendors. They only contract with two media companies that are not very affordable.

The grounds of this facility were beginning to display the festive colors of spring and summer, and the temperature was perfect for an outdoor adventure. Many crew members were actively working to weed beds and plant new flowers around the property.
We did not explore the entire garden park, but we found the historical exhibit and the children’s park to be delightful. My toddler grandchildren enjoyed the rope spider web, the slide, the spectacle sculpture, and the log tunnel. The General Store took me back to my childhood with the many artifacts from bygone days. The tobacco barn and the outdoor privy are excellent teaching tools for the children who study late nineteenth and early twentieth century America.
The facility has some indoor and outdoor spaces that welcome memory-making occasions like weddings, small formal dances, and birthday parties. I hope to return in the summer to see more colors in the foliage.

Great experience! The gardens are fantastic. We went in the winter, and it was still very nice to get out and walk around. The gardens have lots to look at and great views of the river. I am sure that all the Pokemon Go lovers will be amazed at all the available content on the game that is in the gardens.

Fantastic botanical garden. Even before things begin to go into full bloom this place is absolutely gorgeous and serine. It was so peaceful to walk around the garden and down the river loop looking at all nature has to offer. I can’t wait to go back after the spring plants begin to bloom!

Very pretty garden with a lot of sections to walk around. Has very relaxing places to sit by the pond, under the trees, or in the gazebo. The annual membership costs half of those at other gardens I've been to. Only downside is that the actual garden area is not too large; much of the land is forested, with trails.

Visited during the “take a child” event. Loved the quietness of the location even though it was in the heart of the city. Loved the children’s play area. Beautiful flowers and well maintained. Would have loved to have a bit of explanation for the old houses that are on the property but none the less they were adorable. Gift shop was great. Will return.

This place is SO much better than I had expected & that is saying a lot, because my expectations were quite high to begin with.
Tips:
-You can bring a wagon or stoller, some of the paths are packed gravel so a jogging stroller is advised
-Pack a lunch & eat at some of the benches throughout the garden!
-They have a Children’s Garden, with a little playground & an above ground walkway
-Family passes are $90ish for the year, if you go & decide you like the gardens, you can use your receipt towards your family pass
-Go in the mornings! The shade (which there is plenty of) is so nice in the morning, especially when the air is fresh & cool in the mornings
My kids & I have had such fun. It’s so well-kept & beautiful!

A wonderful garden in Fayetteville! Highly recommended going for quiet walks and beautiful scenery. There is something to do all year round. We have yearly memberships and it pays for itself! Christmas time they have a beautiful light display and guests get to walk around and enjoy the lights at their own pace. It’s a beautiful and quiet garden get-a-way from the city for sure!

There was no attendant at the ticket counter when we arrived and we were left waiting in the lobby until finally someone called us into the gift shop to purchase our tickets to enter the garden. I tried being friendly but felt the woman working the gift shop was not welcoming. With military discount tickets were still almost $20 for the two of us, pretty buildings but not much to see. We were gone within an hour and left with a lackluster impression of the gardens and overall experience considering the entrance fee.

This is our third year of Holiday Lights and I love and appreciate the effort CFBG puts in to make it better every year. The layout was different and unique. Really enjoyed how they had a couple of photo opportunities in different areas to help with line volume. We also liked the way the food trucks were set up this year as well. We had a great time exploring and will be back again for different events!

The walk is very enjoyable, especially through the shade of the trees. There are paved and unpaved terrain to choose. Plenty of places to sit and rest. I didn't see bathrooms out in the garden space, but the one in the vistors' center was clean and not too far from most of the attractions. The entry cost is reasonable. To be fair, it's been a very hot week with no rain. We will need to come back in spring or early summer when the garden has more color and is hydrated to fully appreciate the space, but it was a nice way to pass the time waiting for our flight.

Great historical house showcasing the life and living conditions for one of Fayetteville's leading families during the late 19th and early 20th century.
Almost all of the interior and furnishings were manufactured during the time period and many are original to the home.

This house is dedicated to the other Edgar Allen Poe (not the poet, but a local businessman). He was an important figure in Fayetteville's history by owning the Poe Brick Company and was significant to the economy of the area.
They have tours that should be resuming starting 12 November 2020, but check with the Museum of Cape Fear to verify. Suggested donations is $2 for adults and $1 for children.
If you want to catch it with some Christmas decorations, they should have some wreaths and bows starting 28 November until 9 January.

North Carolina Veterans Park is a beautiful and well-maintained park that honors veterans from all branches of service. I had a friend visiting for the 4th of July holiday. He walked through downtown Fayetteville and visited the Market House.
The museum in Fayetteville is a historical attraction that showcases the region's past through exhibits on transportation, war, baseball, and other topics. The displays are regularly updated to offer fresh insights into the area's rich history. In addition to transportation-related artifacts, visitors can learn about economics and industry in the vicinity. The annex provides detailed information about Fayetteville and Cape Fear. Admission is free so it is highly recommended for those interested in history and local culture.
This is a lovely museum in the heart of Fayetteville. I have been wanting to visit for sometime, but I finally got the chance today. It is certainly worth checking out when in the area. There is a lot of history on display, and from what I was told, the exhibits changed regularly. There is transportation history, war history, baseball history, and a myriad of other items. It is certainly a very nice museum.

Fascinate-U Children's Museum offers an enriching and interactive educational experience for children between the ages of 1 and 12. The museum features hands-on exhibits, projects, and events that encourage learning through exploration and fun. Located in Fayetteville, it is currently the only option for a children's museum in the area. Despite its popularity among families, there are never long lines or overcrowding issues.
This was easily the most affordable children’s museum we have ever been to. At first I wasn’t sure if my daughter was going to be entertained for long (it’s fairly small) bus she ended up having a blast and stayed for 3 hours. The toddler room in the back was probably her favorite part, but she also loved the grocery store, the fire poll, playing dress up, and driving the emergency vehicles. Overall the value for this place can’t be beat, and the gift store is incredibly affordable, unlock every other kids centric place. They have a whole shelf of things under $1. So you can get your little one something to remember the trip by without destroying your wallet.

If you have ever been to Marbles in Raleigh, this is likebthe lite version of it.
Pro:
- accessible and close
- cheap ( $5 per kid)
- loads of different activities
Con:
- alot of broken missing and missing pieces
- needs a deep clean BAD (my allergies were kicking up bad at certain points)
- small (only one floor) and everything is on top of each other
It is not a bad weekend getaway close to home for toddlers. Would not recommend if your kid is 7 or over. They will get bored quick.

First I like to say I am giving this place three stars because my kids had 2 hours of fun now when you go in there it's about 30 minutes of fun you would think but for a 3-year-old boy and a one year old boy it was 2 hours of non-stop play. My kids did not care that some of the toys needed a new paint job or some of the buildings needed a little work no no because their children and all they seen was toys and the amount of fun time they were going to have and that's all I can ask for especially when you're paying $3 per kid and $4 per adult now I don't care who you are fun that lasts for 2 hours for two kids that only cost $14 for me my husband are two boys that is amazing. On the drive home as soon as I put them in the back of my car they were asleep they had the times of their lives and they couldn't care less with the place look like as long as they got to play and that's all that mattered. My kids happiness is all that mattered. I will say that a lot of the employees would make roundabouts and they would clean some of the areas that the kids had played in like tidy them up. I wish they would disinfect the areas that they tidy up considering my kid put a lot in his mouth and I had to keep taking the stuff he was putting in his mouth to the front desk so their kids didn't get his germs I mean he's not sick or anything but still common courtesy.

There aren't many(or any other) options in Fayetteville for a children's museum but i can understand why. I typically head in at 10:00 right when it opens and head out around 11:30. I've never had to wait in line to buy ticket and it's never been overcrowded. This is a great place for a quick morning or afternoon with your child, but the gift shop is way too expensive. With very little to choose from. Overall I've been here multiple times and I was happy to go back and my son is never be bored of this place so it's worth it. For only a 7.50 entry fee

Great little children's museum! We spent like 3 hours there.

I took my kids here today and am beyond disappointed with this "museum". I can't believe that adults have to pay admission, and my family of three didn't even stay a full hour because of how unhappy we were here, including my three year old. Everything was so dirty, broken or barely functional because of missing pieces. The ceiling has tons of visible water damage and some of the areas wreak of a musty odor. I understand the building is old but yikes, this place really could use some updating. I thought my three year old would really enjoy the "toddler time" event for fire safety today but it definitely wasn't anything like I expected and it seemed to be listed as. I wish I would have saved my money and taken my kids elsewhere.

An adorable little museum delivering real life situations that kids are able to put themselves into. Exhibits are clean and well organized and despite the masses of children, somehow remained that way for the duration of our visit.

A fun place for kids. We like to go when it’s not as busy. The staff is very friendly and courteous.

Fascinate-U Children's Museum is in the heart of downtown Fayetteville. Upon arrival there’s not much parking so I’d suggest going in non peak times. The parking was also paid. $1 per hour, with an off-street max of $5/day. Parking is free on Weekends and City Holidays.
Admission: $3.00 Adults $4.00 Children. There’s a place to put your strollers and backpacks and then you can jump right into playing and learning. It’s really good for little kids that are into imagination play and I think it seems it may age out at age 10. They also have a toddler room also for the little ones. We spent about 2 hours here and the kiddos had a blast.

We are excited to take my 5 year old granddaughter here on her recent trip to visit us. We went on a Saturday and there was hype about a Dr Seuss event. First the event could have been so much better if they actually held story time- some kids may have never heard the book before and had no idea why they were making a wocket for their pocket. There were a lot of lights on the play vehicles that weren’t working. The dress up clothes and such were in shambles and I spent most of my time asking my granddaughter it to put stuff on. The store/marketplace area had no pretend fruit or maybe other children had moved it elsewhere. I’m glad I saved my husband from spending the $75 membership fee because I doubt we will take her back there when she comes back this summer. I was just very disappointed with the entire experience. Even asking the 5 year old about it today she said it was boring.

Not crowded, decent variety of toys. Most of the exhibits had broken parts, sticky paint and dirty surfaces. Not much has changed in the 10 years since I’ve been here. Admission for an adult and child was $7 total, which is a steal. I would prefer that they charged a few extra dollars and did some renovation.

My almost 3 year old had fun, definitely a bit over stimulated. If you have smaller kids try not to go when there's a school group. She got pushed around (which they did apologize), toys were strewn everywhere cause the teachers were just sitting. Toddler room was alright, but she got bored cause it was all stuff we had at home, and she had to walk past all the new things to get to it. Alot of things didn't work or were damaged badly. My friend overhyped it alot (which she hadn't been in 20 years). Ceiling tiles missing, children hitting their heads on the metal ceiling connectors. My kid was definitely very overwhelmed with everything, but had fun. Would maybe go again because of price and distance, but not first choice.

This is such a wonderful place for kids to come and enjoy all sorts of fun activities. We could honestly be busy for hours and my son wouldn't get tired of it. We also enjoy the craft projects offered throughout the month. My son doesn't always sit still for them but it's nice that he can go off and play if he gets fidgety.
Lake Rim Park is a charming park with multiple facilities including ball fields, sand volleyball courts, horseshoes, picnic areas, and a playground. The park also boasts of a 1-mile nature trail that offers scenic views of the surrounding area. Visitors can enjoy a peaceful walk along the trail or sit by the dock overlooking the water to catch a glimpse of fish. The park is dog-friendly and pet owners are respectful of others' space on the trails.
Nice to meet up with someone for a trail walk. People were super friendly in the area. You can tell there are regulars and everyone with pets was so respectful on the trails. Cute little dock overlooking the water where I was told you can sometimes see fish!

This is a really nice little park, out-of-the-way enough that it’s fairly quiet, but not too far of a drive from Fayetteville or Raeford. If you visit here, please drive slowly, there are kids everywhere. And enjoy responsibly

This was my second trip to the park and so far, I've found it to be clean and well-maintained. The walkways are free of pet waste, though there is some garbage to be found in the weekend areas. For the most part, it's quiet and people are very respectful. I haven't encountered a single dog off-leash, which is nice. The scenery is beautiful, but definitely watch out for that poison ivy!

We probably went on a bad day because the weather was gloomy and it’s a weekday afternoon. As a result, the park was empty and the playground looked sad. Will likely be better in the summer when the water park is open.
The Museum of the Cape Fear is an impeccably maintained historical facility that includes a restored Victorian home, park, and former Confederate arsenal. Visitors can learn about the lifestyles of past generations through Ruth's informative tours. The museum has a charming store with reasonably priced souvenirs for purchase. It features fascinating history pieces and antiques, including the Poe family's history as described by knowledgeable tour guides during free admission hours (donations are appreciated).
Went on a Sunday afternoon. Not too busy. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. Staff was polite. Neat little gift shop. Bought some interesting history books.

Also, they decorated for the holidays.

Such a great experience! We had such a great time with the guided tour, we happened to be the only ones there the day/time we chose to go so we had a wonderful one on one experience with the tour guide that helped us that day. (Really wish I could remember her name, but all the staff was so kind!) Such a gorgeous home with such a rich history. The gift shop was great too, picked up a new book! But they also have toys, candies, and the works. Would definitely recommend, especially for littles, as they have a monthly history bag activity!

Cape Fear Regional Theatre is a venue that hosts both traditional and modern theater productions in a multi-story building. The main stage has seating for 309 people and the facility is known for its welcoming atmosphere. The staff, including those at the ticket box, ushers, actors, stewards and stage hands are all praised for their hospitality. The auditorium boasts excellent acoustics with ample leg space between rows.
Went to watch the Color Purple. The facility was very welcoming. The lady at the ticket box and the usher, Mr. Wilson were very hospitable. The temperature in the auditorium was cool, leg space between the rows was adequate and the acoustics was impeccable! The performance of the Color Purple was excellent. The singing was off the chain

My husband and I were able to get seats at the end of a row and near the handicapped entrance. The person handling the reservations was very helpful. The play was super! All the things we loved about the TV show were there along with so much more! The music and singing voices were great! The choreography was spectacular! There were several dance numbers in the play and the idea of having several spirits trapped in the Addams house was brilliant. The ensemble dances were beautiful! Loved it all!

The cast of Cinderella did not disappoint. The were amazing. Funny, with a twist on the original but you nailed it! I took myself out on a date , sat up. close and enjoyed the production tremendously! Bravo.
Unfortunately, my car was towed so I incurred an unexpected expense. I’m 64 and parked at the pharmacy after asking another patron if it was alright to park. The sign about towing was in the handicap parking unseen from the first parking spot close to the street. The couple with a handicap plaque that thought we could park there also had their car towed! ThankGod I jumped in an Uber with them to retrieve our cars in the sultry lot they were towed too. I arrive at 7:00 pm and there were no parking spots in the post office where I usually park. Both the police and tow people are aware of all the cars being towed and this is definitely a problem that needs addressing. I’m a senior citizen and am really hurting with the $225.00 fee they charged in the impossible situation I experienced . I don’t think I’ll be back until the new building with adequate parking is opened!

I went to see Color Purple on Sat 5/14. I was excited as I hadn’t been to a play in a long time and had heard good reviews. My 3rd person wasn’t able to attend but it didn’t bother me at all as I found the ticket prices to be pretty good. Well I was sadly not impressed last night. We had a fill in for Celie and it was announced in the program. I didn’t think much of it but I should have. The temporary actress was below average and her role was too big to be such a poor fit for the role. Her singing sounded very poor, her acting was questionable and she didn’t try to match the character in actions or tone. I wouldn’t suggest anyone else attend while the Celie fill in is active in the play. Overall, it was a poor experience for me and had I known what to expect, I would have left with the first noticeable cracks. Cape Fear seems okay and I will possibly try another play but they deserved better than last nights performance.

Old man winter…I recently had the pleasure of trying the "Old Man Winter" This beer packs a spicy punch that awakened my taste buds with a burst of fiery peppers. However, just when I thought my palate might need a rescue mission, the infusion of honey and ginger came to the rescue, providing a soothing and harmonious balance. The juxtaposition of heat and sweetness in this brew is simply brilliant….

Great place! Friendly, quick service from the bartenders. The atmosphere is fitting for a microbrewery; cozy and slightly funky. They have a good selection of beer on tap, all of which they brew. Lots of extra seating out on the patio. It’s not a sports bar but they did have college football on when we were there on a Saturday afternoon.
They don’t have any guest taps which isn’t a problem because they have so many styles of their own beer to choose from. I got the December Saison which was okay and the Limelight which was delicious!

We brought my beer-loving husband here for an early Father's Day celebration. Inside was nice and dark and had a cool industrial vibe and a small stage. Outside the patio area was super casual and laid back. We had a flight of beers, (Blackberry Pilsner, Orange Creamsicle, 60 watt IPA, Hell of a Day IPA, Sour You Doin) and loved all 5. We finally narrowed it down to 2 kinds to bring home. Food trucks don't arrive until around 5 pm, so plan accordingly 😉

Cross Creek Mall is a conventional shopping center that consists of regular arrangements of departmental stores, exclusive boutiques, and an eating area. I have never seen a mall plant grass and bushes and not maintain them at all. Some of the bushes are so tall it is dangerous to even exit the mall because you can't see people speeding at you over the speed bumps- and they are coming at your driver side door. (The exit near Macys is so bad i have almost been crashed into just trying to leave many times- cant see to get out at all).
Really sad to see the mall get so much worse instead of better over the years. I hope they can hire ground maintenance- the restaurants do and the trash at the mall is always a lot in the parking lots - give people more trash cans. Especially broken glass is a huge problem here. Whoever owns this mall needs to hear about this somehow - and I used to work here I know no one cares which is really not good and explains why the mall is so bad and continues to get worse.

This might be one of the most interesting malls I have ever been to, the experience walking into the food court was interesting to say the least, tons of pan handlers just about guide you all the way into the mall. Once in the mall you will find a decent offering of stores and places to eat in the food court, the mall is relatively clean, however there is a dated slightly dingy feel to the place. Overall I guess it's a good place to get in and get out for a few small things and maybe a quick bite to eat, this probably explains why there was plenty of parking!

This mall is slowly becoming bad. It is not as lively as it once was. The last time I was here, it was a Friday, and there was not much of crowd. The stores have changed a lot and so little at the same time. It is sad seeing Sears and other stores go. The JcPenney and Belk here need a makeover because they look the same as they did at least 10 years ago. The Macy's is the best store because they carry luxury brands. This mall is more for teenagers and gifts. If you are looking for a nice gift for a loved one, I recommend this mall.

If you can ever catch someone working def try them out they are fabulous!
As for the mall come willing to deal with dirty bathrooms and crack heads dancing in the food court it’s unfortunate bc this is a decent store mall and malls are just dying out since Covid!

This mall and location has so much potential and it’s so disheartening to see it being run into the ground. Whoever is trying to manage this mall clearly needs help! It’s Spring and the center doesn’t open until 11:00am. This mall should be a vibrant hub of shopping, with a mix of excellent food, trendy cafes, beauty bars, and be a cool fun family friendly mall. Why should people have to drive to Raleigh or Charlotte to shop when they could do it here.

Although Fayetteville has worked diligently to revitalize Cross Creek Mall, it has not yet succeeded. The anchor stores (Belk, JC Penney, & Macy's) have resorted to selling reduced quality merchandise that looks and feels cheap. The merchandise appears to be items that were rejected by more successful stores. The mall is dimly lit and has musty odors. Most importantly, during late afternoon and evening hours, it simply feels unsafe.

I grew up with one of the top 25 library systems in the nation, so my expectations here were high. But I was pleasantly surprised by the nice facilities and resources, and I always find exactly what I need. Underrated public space and source of education.

I’ve never had any issue with this library before now. Today we spoke to the team lead, Kelly, regarding a concern of ours going on in the parking lot. There are two homeless folks living out of their car with multiple dogs in the library parking lot. We’ve seen them before and never had issues, but today I witnessed the gentleman using a glass pipe to smoke something. It was concerning seeing as I am pregnant and have two small children. I know enough of this area of town to keep my distance from folks making use of glass pipes. Kelly tried her best to discredit me and said that they cannot ask them to leave since they are library card holders. I didn’t realize a library card granted me the right to camp out in the parking lot 24/7. We’ll have to find another location that cares about the safety of the adults and children they’re supposed to serve.

Growing up use to visit this library spent hours looking for books. I happened to be in the area went inside downstairs is out dated. The chairs & carpet literally the same when I use to visit as a kid. The only thing I see different is the self checkout machine. I walked past an isle of book’s outdated as well. The county should invest money in the library there’s so much potential & space, but seems like a time warp going in. 📖📚

Loved the second floor children’s section. Lots of books and lots of child engagement.

Such a nice space upstairs for little ones. Staff was nice and helpful
A very well maintained vineyard and my family had a great time here!! The muscadine grapes taste so good and are very juicy. This is our very first time doing the grape picking and the kind elderly gentleman taught us how to choose the best ones. It's not super large but it's the right size to walk around and pick the grapes without being too tired. I highly recommend it to everybody!

First-timer in North Carolina and pleasantly surprised to try out these muscadine grapes. Sweet and tart, gotta love it. The Auman Vineyards is hidden behind a home, but opens up into a beautiful courtyard in the back. Vines are fully stocked and my family loved spending a few hours there on a cloudy morning. Just watch out for the ant hills!

First time going grape picking. The vineyard is large and the gentleman that runs it is very kind and helpful. He also had local lavender honey for sale the day we went.

My mom and I found this place by accident. We were actually wanting some wine. We looked up wineries near us and this popped up. It is actually a place to pick your own grapes 🍇. It is a residence they have a big backyard with grape vines. There were children there laughing and having a blast. The elderly gentleman explained us about the grapes and which ones were right to pick. It was a great unexpected way to make another memory with my mom. I would recommend this place to anyone.

GRAPES GRAPES AND MORE GRAPES. Thank you Lord for grapes.
Auman Vineyards is a very friendly establishment that I resent at least 10xs during the season for over 15 yrs and they only get BETTER. I've never seen any snakes.... The grapes are big and juicy this year!!!
This vineyard is a special blessing meant to please.
Wonderful experience.
Clean, safe, affordable and fun. Spent about 3 hours in there with my 10 year old son and his friend. For $18 we got shoe and harness rental for the entire day. They had routes for every experience level. Two kids who have never indoor climbed before had a great time and were busy the entire time.
Staff was super friendly and helpful.
Place was clean and well maintained.
Prices were very reasonable.
5 Stars, will return.!

The staff are so nice and helpful! This is a great place no matter the weather, season, etc. Even if you are scared of heights, there are still fun things for the kids to do! But adults can have fun climbing too!

The routes were fun, challenging, and diverse. Passing through town and very glad to have found a gym at all--let alone one this big! Thank you Mr and Mrs P for the hospitality. Will certainly visit again.

Visited last night with 2 kids. Never done this before. Had so much fun. Wonderful place, great staff. My son was scared about attempting this but the lady at the front desk was so kind and made him feel safe. By the end of the night, he was climbing. Will definitely be back.

We absolutely love the climbing place. We have been coming for years. My husband used to climb before we were married for several hours every day. Then when we returned from living out of state with kiddos we found the climbing place is so accommodating for kids and I! Our 4 year old has countless hours of fun on a weekly basis and the membership is so worth it. It is a place that feels free for him to explore yet safe and clean. He also meets other kids too! The routes are challenging for all ranges of age and skill level.
We especially enjoy having a place to go in the hottest part of summer and coldest part of winter!

I was so impressed with the sheer scale of different walls and sections available to all skill levels. My 5 and 7 year olds, two that vary wildly in skill and eagerness, both had an amazing time and were given great pointers to make their first time climbing an unforgettable one.
Sincerely pleased with the friendliness and the professionalism of the staff- we are signing up for the membership!

We made a stop while we were driving home from South Carolina to Delaware, our two kids absolutely loved it and allowed them to get some energy out during our road trip. The owners were very knowledgeable, and even though we had never tried a rock climbing gym, it was very easy for a beginner to learn, and a great family outing. Thank you both so very much!
