Woodinville Whiskey Co. is a local distiller that specializes in handcrafted small-batch brown spirits. They offer tours and a tasting room, where visitors can sample their excellent whiskies and learn about the distilling process from knowledgeable guides. The tour includes a visit to the new graineries, which were recently added to the building. After the tour, visitors have the opportunity to purchase bottles of whiskey at a small discount.
Have loved Woodinville Whiskey for years. It’s my go to on the shelf bourbon. In addition to always having an outstanding bourbon that you can drink however you like, I love going to and visiting their special releases and events. The latest was being able to taste 3 differently finished versions of their flagship bourbon and then have them specially bottled and signed by their senior distiller. All the folks here are super friendly and informative. Love these guys. If you go in, don’t forget to check out their bourbon candle. It’s amazing for winter. Thanks to the WW team!

Took my husband here for tasting while we were in town on Feb 18, 2024, he ended up buying a bottle for $55. Later that day, we saw the same bottle at Whole Foods for $35 at regular price. Not cool.
I would return the product if we were still in the area, that is if they accept returns or at least honour the price of their reseller.
More expensive at the distillery. The bottle markup is at least 57% more compared to retail.

Incredible spot! Make sure you make your reservations for a tour sooner than later because they book up quickly. If you can't get into a tour, the tastings are great and super affordable; they also come with a bonus pour as well as a little dessert (some of their maple syrup).

I recently visited your establishment and wanted to provide feedback on my experience. While I thoroughly enjoyed the quality of your whisky, there were some aspects of my visit that left me disappointed.
Firstly, the service was lacking. Despite reminding the staff, I did not receive the soup I ordered, which was quite frustrating. Additionally, the whisky was not served properly, no one asked if i should get coke along with just a small was kept and no water was even provided and I felt that the overall service was subpar. May be the problem was just with waitress that served me.
Another concern was the cost; I found the prices to be on the expensive side. While I understand that quality comes at a price, it would be more appealing to customers if the cost was more reasonable.
Despite these issues, I must commend you on the exceptional quality of your whisky, which is undoubtedly the highlight of your establishment. I hope you can work on improving the service and consider revisiting your pricing to enhance the overall customer experience.

Located in Woodinville WA and right next to the Oldest Tavern in WA.
Make sure you go to their Website and book your tour in advance as they are booked out for about 6 weeks.
Marcus our Tour guide is very informative and knowledgeable about the beginnings of the distillery.
It is fascinating how much chemistry goes into distilling Bourbon.
The staff is also very friendly and accommodating.
Military servicemen this place offers a discount with ID.
Side note customer’s be aware when someone is making a video and Don’t walk in front of them twice while they are filming so rude! (you will see what I mean on our last video by this jerk) karmas a B*%#h!)

Great atmosphere and friendly service. Very knowledgeable and a great array of whiskey. Was a fan of the port barrel whisky. Sweet and a hint of spice.
Get a flight or make your own! They have a mini barrel to age your own whiskey. Pretty cool.

I received a 750 ml bottle of the Bourbon from a friend last week. He said it had good reviews.
I am here to tell the world that my friend must hate me to play a joke like this on me.
This stuff is about as far from a good smooth Bourbon as the distillery is from the folks that really know how to make a fine drink.
I pulled the cork and poured a glass after a busy day, expecting to relax and enjoy it. My tastebuds are recovering after trauma.
I dumped it all into the Jacuzzi thinking it may help with the arthritis.
I do like the glass bottle and cork. I will put part of my antique marble collection in it. Hopefully nobody gets offended when I put it on display next to the empty Johnny Walker Blue bottle that contains antique marbles.
Live and learn.

A old freind recommended we visit this tasting room when he heard we were in the area. Great facility, friendly staff. We tasted 4 different bourbon - all were truly excellent. Ended up buying a bottle of their cask strength Rye which is only available at the distillery. If you are in the area - highly Recommend.

Excellent tasting and tour experience here! Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and allowed plenty of time for questions. Our group of 6 we're the only ones at our time so there was space to spread out and personalize a bit. The tour itself is a bit different from the one we did two years previously, because they redid the right half of the building and got new graineries (you see these at the start of the tour outside before heading indoors). Tasting the whiskies during the tours was wonderful. And if you purchase bottles after the tour you get a small discount! Recommend for people who enjoy whiskies.

I finally got to visit where the magic happens! Super friendly staff help walk you through the selections and answer any questions you might have. They feature certain batches that aren't available in retail which is worth the trip and the prices are good but slightly higher than Costco.

Great place to taste some really good whiskey and bourbon. They usually have some distillery only options as well.
Tasting fee is $10 I think but waived with the purchase of a bottle.
The staff is professional, polite and well informed. I have had many conversations about the options offered with Garrett and Tory, so if you get one of them, enjoy the conversation.
Parking is tight as they share the parking lot with Hollywood Tavern (also great!).

Wonderful tasting experience! 4 tastings for $10 is a great deal. No cocktails. When you're done, grab food at Hollywood Tavern next door.

A big Thank You to Garrett for taking time on his day off to give us an incredible your of the facility. So knowledgeable and gracious. What a great whiskey. I've been a fan for years. One of my friends that attended the tour bought a special bottle and had it engraved for a special event we had and what a beautiful job they did. Thank you again Garrett and Woodinville Whiskey for a great employee and a great product.
Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery is a picturesque estate that produces wine and offers tours, tastings, summer concerts, and food pairings. Visitors can enjoy a quick tasting or relax in the sunken garden. Limited edition varieties are available exclusively at the winery, along with widely available options at great prices. Excellent customer service includes allowing customers to taste before buying. Reservations are recommended for all those in the area who want to experience this wonderful winery.
This is one of the nicest wineries site in WA state. They have some good wines but quite mainstream so usually i prefer wine tasting in smaller wineries around. However, they offer outside concerts in summer which are really enjoyable and fun to attend with family or friends. You can bring your picnic, buy wine at the winery and enjoy the concert that way.

For a birthday surprise I reserved the brunch box for a group of 5. Now when we think of brunch we think of a decently filling meal. Let me first say, overall, this place is beautiful and the service was great! Staff were friendly, quick to seat us, and follow up with any of our needs. The 4 mimosas did not disappoint us! Food wise, for the amount I paid I feel like they could offer more food. We all got one chicken/waffle, one sausage, shared yogurt and shared skillet hash browns. We ordered the rest of the food on the side as we were still hungry. The food tasted great. Literally everything had flavor. I wouldn’t do the brunch box again but I will be going back.

Came here on a holiday weekend and got lucky with a walk in tasting! The whole family did the 2 white and 2 red tasting paired with the flight bites, and everything was so great!
There were two bonus drinks, one at the start and one at the end, and the bartender helping us gave a great rundown of the wines and where they came from. It’s a perfect place to take parents around Woodinville. Definitely recommend!

Breathtaking views and a menu to match! The menu compliments the wines with its small but vast variety of perfect portions.
We had three varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon which were different in texture, color and taste.
We also had their Melbac and their white wine. We highly recommend this place.
Next time, we’re checking out the heated domes!

Just a great experience all around. You don't even have to be here that long. The tastings are quick. The sunken garden experience we did was very laid back. Parking is a little on the light side. The prices are great, as their varieties are widely available, but their are limited editions only available here as well. The customer service was excellent, as they will let you taste a few to find what you like before buying. I'd advise all in the area to visit. Make reservations!

Defenetly worth a visit! The place is beautiful and impressive, great way to spend an afternoon sipping on wine.
🍽 Food is OK, I tried their cheese and meat platter, an artichokes dip which is fantastic
🍷 I did a wine flight it was pretty good, I wish they would also give you recommendations on what to order to try your flight with. Wine is delicious by itself but you can also bring out a lot flavor notes by mixing it with food.
👤 Service is great, everyone is really nice.

Gotta love the Grande Dame of Washington wineries! ♥️ The breathtaking grounds never disappoint and the majestic Chateau is a gorgeous as ever. Summer Concerts here are simply the best. We’ve experienced many concerts here over the years, but this one was a little different. The security now is top notch. They’ve really got it down. We sailed right through and it hardly felt like we even stood in line despite the full crowd. The wine was delicious, of course, that goes without saying. Fun assortment of food vendors too. Was impressed to see new, private viewing cabanas and additional assigned seating, although I don’t think anything could make me give up my beach chairs and picnic basket! Always a good time at Ste Michelle. Susan Says…the show must go on!

An amazing experience! James Taylor concert was out of this world good! I think they need to figure out parking and crowd effectiveness though, seemed a bit cumbersome process but once inside love the venue. Give yourself at least 2 hours ahead of concert and go early!!! Plenty of food and wine while you wait in the beautiful venue. Also members get discounts 🥳

Beautiful spot! The winery is an incredible property, including a concert venue with an awesome summer line up. We had the feature flight, which was affordable ($30) and delicious. We got to try 2 of their whites and 2 of their reds, with an additional bonus pour at the end. Although we didn't make it in time for the tour, we were still able to explore the grounds and various spaces inside.

If you are looking to have winery experience in town without driving far, this is the best & most Beautiful property. They used to have a Free walk tour and wine tasting about 1/2 hour, but now not anymore. There are so many great things about it and you can easily spend 3 hours here: you can walk around inside the Chartaeu, wine display & selling areas; outside the entire property: the gazebo, the pond, the vineyard and concert areas. And the parking is free. The Ste. Michelle Brut Rosé wine is about $20, good to grab one and try. Highly recommended.

My jaw dropped when I walked into this place! Endless options and loved the gift shop entrance. We were greeted by the hostess and they asked what we were looking for in tastings. We wanted a variety so we were guided to the Enoteca upstairs. James was our winery host and really helped assist us in andwering our questions and making sure we knew about the different options and tastings. I REALLY enjoyed 14 Hands options from dessert to dinner pairings. My husband fell in love with Erath the pinor. This stop is a must see!

Wine Tasting Series, Part 4
Wineries…in the Pacific Northwest? That would have been news to me if it weren’t for our friends @jnmgoose, @daphae11, and @fred.mougayer. That group of HT Friends (who have coincidentally never been in a room all together…thus far 😉) all recommended that we make the time to visit Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery and are we glad that someone (🫵) finally listened (🤦♂️)!!!
While the “Wine Tasting Series” is a relatively new one, a clear favorite has emerged. I mean, what is there NOT to like here?
The wine selection is extensive (including bubbly options), there is a calendar of live musical performances, their Summer Concert Series features a shocking number of quality musicians, they offer private Chateau Igloos, and they offer a (limited, but) quality diverse menu of food options.
Although we didn’t have the opportunity during our visit, we’d love to experience their “Bubbly Beats Experience” in the future which features curated song playlists linked to specific wine pairings. 🤯
Oh, yeah. We are definitely hoping for a return visit. After all, we don’t always drink sparkling wine, but when we do, we prefer Chateau Ste. Michelle Rose. 😉
And that’s…Henry’s Take.

Had a lovely time there. The tasting was awesome. The grounds are amazing and we had an amazing person to show us and tell us things. Thank you Michelle from customer guest services for telling us about the peacocks that were there and giving us a tasting.
We were so fortunate to be able to take the wine and cheese tasting class with Shelly Fitzgerald in her final version of it prior to the facility closing. Shelly was fantastic and so were the wines and cheeses. The other 3 couples in the class were also super nice which made the whole experience even better. The facility is wonderful and it's surprising that Gallo, who is purchasing Columbia is not also taking ownership of the building. If you can squeeze in a visit prior to closing, I highly recommend it. Thanks Shelly and good luck with you new adventures.

My husband came here earlier this year and absolutely loved it. The lady was very nice and knowledgeable. We ended up joining the wine club. My husband used his email and he got an email but after that we NEVER received anything. My husband called and left a voicemail and still never heard anything.
Our payment never went through. Months went by. We thought okay, I guess we will leave it alone and never go back. Another few months go by and I got a call saying something went wrong and the email address that we provided was entered wrong. But my husband did get the first one. They were nice and gave us free wine but by then we were like nope! Disappointed because it’s a cute winery but because of that they lost us as customers.

Nice place but you kinda get kicked out(pretty much) after finished wine testing. I asked a lady if we could stay seated little more after we paid for testing and also purchased a bottle of wine.. she said we can’t “Due to next appointment people” reason. and there was so many other tables. So if you don’t want to be rushed, drink it slow lol I guess. Or maybe we didn’t buy membership that’s why..? Anyway There’s so many other good wineries to go :) It was good enough to try once.

The world famous Columbia Winery is situated in the heart of local wine country in Woodinville, WA. Popular tourist site is also a nice special event venue for weddings, corporate functions, large catered private parties, etc. The food is excellent as one should expect. The staff is friendly, courteous, professional and all smiles. Of course, the wine is stellar and that's what draws people from near and far to smell and taste some of the best wine around. The entrance and overall grounds are less impressive than its wine, especially compared to the grand Chateau Ste. Michelle winery directly across the street. Also check out other wineries in the neighborhood like JM Cellars, Novelty Hill-Januik Winery and DeLille Cellars. Book several nights at the famous Willows Lodge where you'll also feast on Pacific Northwest style cuisine, enjoy luxury spa service and literally walk to all of the wineries. All in all, worthy of a visit to this Washington State staple. Book your special event now. Cheers 🍷

Many other reviews mention the fancy, beautiful atmosphere. These are spot on. I was not surprised to learn that this is a popular wedding venue. I was also not impressed with our visit. We stopped in early in the afternoon, and were told we needed to make a reservation (the place was NOT busy, but there are still restrictions due to COVID, so maybe that was it). We made a reservation for a tasting later that afternoon.
We arrived three minutes early for our reservation, and were told to wait by a window. Around three minutes later, we had a server come in and seat us. I can't imagine what the point of waiting three minutes was. Just like earlier, the place was NOT busy.
We arrived to our table to four matching selections for a tasting for the four of us. Each of us agreed that at least two of the selections were not something that we would have selected. I'd never been served a wine flight that I had no input on before.
Overall, we felt that Columbia seemed a little pretentious, especially as the wines we tried were not that great. There was at least one of each of ours that we didn't finish, and there was one in particular that was truly disappointing. There are other venues in the area (one VERY close) that we've enjoyed more.

Disclaimer : I don’t consider myself a wine-o. I did however, thoroughly enjoy this tasting experience. Our waitress (Gabby) was a machine full of knowledge and experience. I recommend the reserve (25$) over the alternative flight. We ended up ordering a charcuterie board and a pizza (it was so greasy but tasty). I also opted to buy a couple bottles to cover the cost of the tasting (spend $50 and it’s waived 🤘🏽). Also, curb side appeal is very deceiving for this spot. The patio and inside are very nice.

This was our 4th visit and will not be our last! :)
FOOD:
On property kitchen that makes their own food. It is a limited menu but what they provide is really good. During this visit, we had the "Spring Onion & Burrata" brick oven pizza and it was amazing! The size was roughly 12" so its a good pizza for 1-2 person. There was a good char on the crust and there was an evenly spread of topping so each bit had a little bit of everything.
BEVERAGE:
Most winery/tasting room will have 1-2 different tasting options but Novelty Hill-Januik has usually around 3-4 different options. Also like most winery/tasting room, if you purchase a bottle ($35+) they will waive ONE tasting for free.
LOCATION:
In Woodinville, this is one of the few handful of tasting room that quite large. They have sizeable interior, private reserve able event space, and extremely room exterior. They are pet and family friendly which is a huge plus for us!
STAFF:
Great team of people working at this tasting room! Its family own and run with extended staff that are friendly and always willing to help out.
On Sat, Mar 21 it was a great sunny day so on a spur of the moment, we decided to stop by and sadly we did not have reservations. The hostess to so kind and was able to fit us with one of the smaller tables inside. Due to the pandemic, they like all the other tasting room have moved to a reservation only. Make sure to book your reservation time!!

Wine here is fine. Service is horrible. Plan to be treated well only if you are a moderately young white person. Our friends (not white) who came with us here were completely ignored in favor of servicing other clientele. Parents on another trip are also overlooked. Additionally, for a place that is reportedly family friendly kids are not actually welcome.

Spent a couple of hours here this afternoon with a friend enjoying the wine and the food. I really like the architecture of the building, it's light and airy and as someone who struggles with too much noise, the winery was buzzy but not busy and not loud. We tasted the reserve flight and were given a honey-tasting rosé to start. We ate the **excellent** fig & cambozola pizza and the charcuterie.

She has been amazing checking in on us even through a busy crowd, I would HIGHLY recommend this experience with her. Through the tasting, she would walk us through the cheese and chocolate, letting us walk through each wine pairing by ourselves but was available for consolation and was very attentive. 14/10, would recommend. JM Cellars is a cozy, family-owned winery nestled in a serene, wooded countryside setting reminiscent of a Japanese Ryokan amidst tranquil maples. The tasting room exudes friendly and energetic vibes with outstanding service. Flights are reasonably priced, making it attractive to non-members. One downside may be the cold temperature inside during April. However, the surrounding trees and flowers may cause allergies such as a running nose for some visitors.
Wow! Wow! I am beyond impressed with this venue, the service, and care for my guests! I recently held a Christmas event at JM’s and my whole experience with Risa and her team blew me away from start to finish. Kind. Helpful. Accommodating. Just WOW! Had such an amazing experience here. The grounds are so beautiful and the rainy January weather gave off the vibe of drinking wine in the middle of a forest. We celebrated a birthday and the staff had this cute birthday sign for our table (I made a note about the birthday when making the reservation). The staff was friendly, on point, always around when you needed them and refrained from interrupting if you were in the middle of the conversation. The wines were great and I love that they waive the tasting fee if you purchase a bottle. My group even got to meet one of the owners/wine maker, John. He was super sweet, down to earth and happily chatted with us. He was working in the front yard when I was taking a video of the grounds, and I just find it so sweet and endearing that he loves his place so much. You definitely need to make a reservation, but it’s totally worth the wait. I can’t wait to visit in the summer. I’ll definitely be back, and I’m going to try and find some friends to split the wine club membership!

We weren't initially sure on whether we wanted a wedding, or to go the elopement route, but when we walked the property on our initial consultation, the decision was made for us. The location, layout, and amenities really makes you feel like you are in your own magical realm. There is a degree of exclusion and intimacy that other venues can't come close to. The planning process was easy and our coordinator, Leslie, was communicative, helpful, and an overall delight to work with. Needless to say, the wine, and beer, was phenomenal.
Two things we were initially worried about was the overall time allowed for setup (~4:30-6:00) and allowed length of the wedding (~6-11:30), but let me tell you, they are non-issues. JM and their preferred vendors are experts and it was amazing to watch them setup. The length of wedding was the perfect, and we didn't leave wanting more.
In our opinion, there is not a better wedding venue in the greater Seattle area than JM Cellars and we can't recommend them enough! Cheers! Nick and Callie Pines!

Wonderfully attractive winery that looks like a Japanese Ryokan amidst tranquil maples. A friend who's a member took me and we tried a couple of good red wines (2018 Malbec and my favorite Petit Verdot). A good stop on a rainy Friday afternoon!

Pictures don’t do the setting justice. The food & wine are top notch. Great spot for outing with friends or couples.

What a gorgeous venue! We attended an autumn wedding here, and the outdoor setting could not be more beautiful and intimate. Servers were friendly and attentive. The 5 course dinner was absolutely amazing. Loved the overall setting that accommodated close conversations and wider socializing with indoor and outdoor areas to gather. Wine was definitely lovely, but cocktails wonderful as well. Definitely recommend for private events.

Cute place. Great wine. Some of it is better stored away for 2-3+ years, but this is typical of many high quality wines...almost all CAN be enjoyed, now, but are much improved after a bit of laying away. They could use more furniture that is cozy/relaxing, especially in the wine club member's area. Another dozen leather "club chairs" spread about (and a few coffee tables to center them around) would go a long way to making the space more enjoyable for members. The staff is great/friendly, and the grounds are great to explore while sipping your wine...and the two firepits are nice to huddle around. Definitely worth becoming a member.
What a great experience. Kevin took great care of us. We went for a work event and they were so accommodating. Between Kevin's knowledge of the wines, the regions of the PNW, and sharing the history of the winery, we simply had a splendid time. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a casual, fun, work event that allows teammates to bond over spectacular wine. Thank you Goose Ridge and Kevin for a fantastic memory!

Invited to a tasting by a wine-club member friend. It was quite loud inside and so we sat outside in the shade on a beautiful early spring day. We were very well looked after. Our host and her son tried the Girl Scout cookie pairing and were happy with their choice! I tried their espresso martini and it was good! My friend and I had a regular (mostly red) tasting. I particularly enjoyed the Riesling and the Syrah. Runner-up on the reds was the also excellent Malbec

Such a sweet place!
This was one of our winery stops as part of our tour with Customized Tours, and we really enjoyed this place.
We tried their wine flight and had a really pleasant experience. They charged $15 for a flight of 5 different wines. My favorite was the Syrah. It was very well balanced, and the marionberry notes really shined through! We even got a bonus tasting of their cider - very refreshing!
The staff there were all very friendly. Would recommend!

Joining the Goose Ridge Cider Club has been very rewarding. We go to the Tasting Room with every new cider release for a complimentary flight of ciders, and it's hard to pick a favorite. These ciders are delicious and elegantly bottled. The staff are welcoming; Chris is such a great host with knowledge of and enthusiasm for all the products. The wines are exceptional, too, and I usually go home with a bottle or two of something else that GR produces.
Emmy Meaker — Google review
During my time in Woodinville my cousin was insistent that we stop in to Goose Ridge. She told me about their ciders as she's not big into wines. Instead of ordering a glass I thought, why not give all of their ciders a try!? Our server was so nice! They told that you have the option of shipping some cider or wine to you. Depending on where in the United States you live.

Meghan gave us a great experience! We loved the cider and the vodka. A great tasting room to break up the endless wine options in Woodinville.

Had a great time here. There was enough seating for our party of 8. Everyone loved their cider and wine flights plus the Cheese plate. We also picked up some cider bottles and growlers to go. The service was friendly, courteous, and prompt🍷

Great wine and the staff is also awesome. High recommend going on a weekday when they are a bit slower. My only complaint would have to be the food, which is a bit overpriced for what it is.
Sarah L — Google review
This is a really enjoyable tasting room! The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed and easy-going. The tasting is cheap, and the wines are great! There are some seating areas inside and out, but the place is pretty small, so depending on when you go there might not be room to buy a bottle, sit, and drink. If you want to understand how Washington wine making works, this is your place.

Wonderful staff with great wine, cider and atmosphere! They have a new line of brandy, gin and vodka that are amazing.

Really fun time tasting wines here! We had a great time sitting in front of the fireplace and enjoying a short cute replay well tasting their flight. We brought a couple of bottles home. I'm so glad that we stopped by here for a bite, a drink, and a wonderful time!

Wow. Both the cider and wine here were fantastic. Especially the ciders! So delicious!
Our server was very nice and attentive too.

Excellent wines. Vodka was first rate. This place is worth coming back. The server Matthew was knowledgeable, personable and a treat to deal with. I hope he is recognized for the gem he is. Thank you for a great experience!
Had a great tasting with our friends who are Wine Club members. We were offered a great selection of their wines, along with a couple of tastes that were off the flight. The overall experience was great and we look forward to tasting your wines in the future!
Kevin Hoover — Google review
We have been part of their club for few years but lately, as have grown substantially, the quality of their wine has gone down while price have gone up. We have some bottles of older vintages and the difference is quite noticeable. The other challenge is now you have to book your wine tasting. I understand it made sense few months ago, but now that everything has re-opened, it would make sense to open up to people walking by.
Gilles Chapellon — Google review
A cool place for a wine tasting. The store has space what makes it comfortable. The owner is a motorbike fan and share his "Bike Garage" with the customers, which is great.
The friendly sales staff is firm in their products and be able to answer a lot of Questions about wine. Enjoyed it and had fun.
The bad thing: Quality has its price.

Consistently good. Generous pours plus a welcome pour (normally) to get you started this time a pleasant rose (flower head?). Staff friendly & knowledgeable

Great wine but bad service. Me and my friend were told we would receive 20% industry discount and waved tasting fee. We were not given the 20% and only waved one tasting. We are both industry people and surprised by this. If you say one thing then please stand by what you say!

Sally is an outstanding host and we love coming here, whether for an adults only outing or with our young kids. Everyone is always so friendly, and the wines are outstanding!

Great atmosphere. Definitely wasn’t my favorite wine of the day and there was only by the glass and bottle prices. Most other tasting rooms offer tastings ;) Probably wouldn’t revisit here. Plenty of other great places more low key to try out. Service was fantastic though!
Courtney B — Google review
Wine is great but this place is definitely starting to feel like it's getting too big for it's britches. Doesn't have the small winery charm it had when it was by the schoolhouse. Service has never been very warm here and the pours are stingey (however, the lower tasting fee of $10 makes up for that). Great for groups and a fun place to stop in a Woodinville outing.
Cameron Lowell — Google review
The wine is great - it’s too bad they have such a terrible vibe from the pourers. Some are fun, several outright suck. Each time we try this place out we’re hopeful it’ll be better and it’s not. The level of absurdity is laughable. Why be rude? Why be bossy? Why make the session so slow? It feels purposeful. Our last time here for sure.
Dianna Evans — Google review
Shout out to Cameron who works at the winery. Great conversation and friendly. Very appreciate for his kindness and tips on places to go in the area. The reds were some of the most smooth tasting wines. Drank a bottle of Old Vines the next day. It was amazing with dinner. My daughters favorite winery. I am a big music guy and appreciated the music art on the walls. Dissident wine, I think I know your favorite Pearl Jam song, Mr Ryan. Ill be back in Seattle this summer and will make a point to stop over and see everyone again.
As a visitor to the area, I wasn’t aware of this wine brand. Family had set up a tasting session for us so I had no idea what to expect.
The winery is located in the warehouse district of Woodinville and their tasting room is cozy, showing how it’s not a huge operation. There were windows into the wine production room which was nice.
We each got a tasting which consisted of 2 whites and 4 reds. The first white, Adrienne, is the best white I’ve ever had! Had to go back for a bottle of this afterward. The reds (Final Final, Big Papa, and their estate Cab Franc) were beautifully balanced and complex.
In short, I stumbled upon my favorite white wine here. Can’t wait until they get national distribution so I can have some over on the East Coast!
Robert Gee — Google review
Efeste is a great place for wine tasting or just to hang out. The wines are very good but I prefer their reds much more than the whites. They have food for purchase including personal sized pizzas that go well with the wine and are fun to share. The staff is very knowledgeable. Taylor in particular was able to delightfully share information about the wines as well as about wine in general (for one so young she had a ton of knowledge but never forced it upon you). The environment is relaxed, fun, and family oriented. Efeste also has lots of fun events like live music. We liked it so much we became members.
Daniel Bridenbecker — Google review
Fantastic wines. Their reds have a lot of character! The pizza is also a nice treat. But the best thing is the people- the staff here are so kind and calm. It gives the whole place so much character and has kept us coming back.
Casmira Boland — Google review
One of the best wineries in Woodinville. Always amazing wine. This years Cab Franc is ridic.
Chris Anderson — Google review
We went to Efeste last week and had an amazing experience! It was quiet as we came right around opening on a Thursday. The wine was fantastic- we had Big Papa and Nana and, while we loved both, Nana was so unique and lovely. We also ordered a little margarita pizza, which was delicious. I could see this being a really fun hidden gem to bring friends or to host a private event. We also loved that they were having a benefit for Leukemia & Lymphoma and would have liked to attend if we were in town that weekend. We’ll definitely be back and have considered their wine club too!
Andrea Hamre — Google review
A friend recommended this place for the great wine and food. My mind is blown. The wine is amazing and the food is better than anything I have had at the $$$$ restaurants in my neighborhood. My eyes honestly watered at the first bite. I recommend the Riesling, the Feta & Roasted Red Pepper Dip, and the Drunken Cherry Pizza. Wow.
Darla Raitt — Google review
Great winery with a nice selection of food. We had the antipasto platter to go with the wine tasting. Delicious! We also met the owner who gave us an impromptu tour of the fermentation tanks. Definitely worth a visit.
Joshua Seyfried — Google review
Customer service was lackluster at best. The woman, who I believe was the owner, was the only saving grace. The wine itself was decent. When we stated it was our first time visiting, we were met with little enthusiasm from the other staff. I would not return to this establishment.
Treshayla Wilson — Google review
Most of this is NOT enjoyable wine.
It's an after-work-hours inexpensive wine bar. And if it were labeled as a bar that serves cheap wine to people looking to just get tipsy after the work-hour it perhaps deserves 3.5 stars.
The first 3 wines I was poured I'd never want to put in my mouth again. The Nana, Petit Verdot, and Big Papa raised the score one star for me.

We were able to meet Helen and she was great. Their Reds had great taste

Great wines. We showed up at 4:15 and they close at 5:00. Instead of explaining, the person working said "well I guess we can rush you through a tasting since it started 15 minutes ago" ... yet we tasted all the wines by 4:35. The staff member took the time to talk about each of the wines, yet kept acting like she was trying to rush us along.

Highly recommend! Absolutely gorgeous tasting room, even more gorgeous wines! We stepped in for the red wine tasting based on a recommendation from another vineyard that said they have robust reds—definitely the case! Every one of them were so, so good! Our server was a great story teller with the details of each wine. Cheeseboard was phenomenal too.

I made a reservation weeks in advance at Long Shadows as one of our stops in Woodinville to celebrate our anniversary. Upon arrival, the worker could not locate our reservation nor even had it despite me showing the staff my confirmation email. This was evident by the staff rushing us through our tasting experience, as it lasted a total of 25 minutes (trying 6 wines) when all the previous tasting we attending at various other places lasted one and a half hours. My husband and I were looking to enjoying our wine tasting and savor each sip and take in the ambiance of the place. Instead, after less than 5 minutes of having our first wine, the staff decided it was time for to pour our second glass and asked me “if I needed a dump bucket for my wine”, implying either drink it or we are moving on. This happened again on the 3rd glass of wine and at this point I frankly didn’t want to continue our experience here but we politely finished the tasting, paid, and promptly left as we did not feel welcome.

We love Long Shadow’s new tasting room. It’s fabulous furniture, decor and music create an inviting atmosphere. We tasted everything and walked alway with a few bottles of the Pirouette (Bordeaux Blend) an Pedestal (Merlot). Bonus - wine club members have their own seating area.

If you are even considering coming here I would consider no more... This is some of the best expression of Washington grapes you will find anywhere. Award-winning wine makers, a variety of styles and some of the friendliest people around!
The tasting room located in Woodinville is a beautiful classy space with high-tops, couches and incredibly friendly service staff! I've been several times and Norm always takes great care of me! Some coworkers and I went yesterday and was taken care of by Sasha who was incredibly informative and wonderfully fun and funny!
Prices for these wines are on the higher end of the spectrum for sure, but that is due to the incredible quality of their wines combined with their numerous accolades. Here you will find plenty of good Cab, Merlot, Syrah as well as blends, several white options like Chardonnay, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc and a fantastic rosé that's an incredibly good price!
The team is always professional and courteous
When asked about wine tasting in Woodinville I often recommend a few of the same six or seven places to try but Long Shadows is always at the top of the list!

We visited Long Shadows Jan 2024 - it was SNOWING outside. All 4 of us have visited several wineries all over the world. This was our 2nd one to visit in Woodinville. We will come back. Michael was so good at explaining wines and history. There was only 1 of 6 wines I gave a 8 rating instead of a 9 or 10. Wow. Thank you so much.
Laura Barnett — Google review
The wine was okay. Food is small and over priced for what you get (six 2" squares of flatbread for $18+). Our server wasn't quite hitting the mark; she kept trying jokes that none of us understood, and was slow to come to the table. They attempt table side service for their tastings, but after over an hour, we were only given pour #2 of 6 and had been waiting after both pours with empty glasses. We left at an hour and a half as our server hasn't given us the third part of the tasting.

Our 3rd tasting of the day and fortunately a short walk from De Lille to Longshadow’s tasting room. Although we didn’t have reservations, they accommodated our group of 4. Our server was very knowledgeable about the wines and we had a couple of their flatbreads to accompany our wines. The Sauvignon blanc was outstanding!

DeLille Cellars Tasting Room is a beautiful facility that specializes in Bordeaux- and Rhône-style blends, offering light snacks to accompany their wine tastings. Guests can make reservations for tables and enjoy a flight of wines while learning about each one from the detailed mat descriptions at each place setting. The knowledgeable wine stewards, such as Monica, are informative, funny, and helpful in answering any questions guests may have.
Enjoyable winter afternoon tasting some fine DeLille wines. Monica was our charming and attentive host. We sat in the third floor members area which would be great in the summer on the patio overlooking Mt Rainier. Good charcuterie platter and some birthday popcorn. Reservations are required. We bought multiple bottles of wine. Recommended!

I had the opportunity to attend the Valentine's Day event at Delille Cellars hosted for Yelp Elites. As a first-time attendee, I couldn't have asked for a more special experience. The evening was a perfect blend of delectable bites, meticulously paired wines, and a charming atmosphere, all thanks to the wonderful staff.
From the refreshing Forget-Me-Not Sparkling Rosé to the clean and crisp 2022 Chaleur Blanc, each sip offered a delightful journey of flavors that left me torn between favorites. The versatility of the wines, especially showcased in the D2, was truly impressive.
What truly stood out, however, was the impeccable service and attention to detail throughout the event. Every aspect was thoughtfully curated, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable evening for all attendees. I am definitely eager to return for future celebrations and wine adventures at Delille.

We loved the decor and atmosphere here at the tasting room. Tasting itself was great. We did feel pretty cramped with 6 of us at one table. We originally made 2 separate reservations and got a call from DeLille Cellars to confirm and was told they can combine our reservations and seat all 6 of us together. We were definitely under the impression that we would be given a much bigger table, but still appreciate staff’s efforts to let us sit together. We also wished there were more food or snacks options.

We recently joined the Chateau Club which we like since we can select what we do (and don't want.) Our recent tasting was just a high class experience. I had recent knee surgery and the greeter (Josh) was fabulous about taking us the "back way" to use the elevator to the 3rd floor. Elaine really seemed interest in our experience and she made the day. Of course, the wine was fantastic and they were generous in the tasting letting us experiment. I couldn't ask for a better day.

We recently did a mid-week tasting at DeLille Cellars this January. What a great time - very enjoyable. The tasting room and facility is very beautiful. As we had made reservation, a table for four was ready for us.
We tasted a flight of wines and each wine was described in detail on the mat at each of our place settings. Our wine steward, Monica, was wonderful - very informative about the wines we were tasting, funny and very helpful in answering our questions. We are also ordered a cheese platter for the four of us to share and it really paired with our tastings well.
I highly recommend DeLille Cellars for an enjoyable experience tasting some great Washington State wines.

Ally is the most amazing server/wine tasting attendant I have ever had. She is one of the kindest, sweetest, funniest people. She is so knowledgeable and spends time explaining every wine and it adds so much to your experience I don’t even have the words for it. We came in because a bartender at Alibi in Seattle recommended it and we couldn’t have been happier. We had so much fun because of Ally. If you come here ask for her. The wine is so damn good too. The space is beautiful and the staff is amazing, Ally is of course great but all of the staff is awesome as well. Must do, 10 out of 5 best winery on the planet.
Triplehorn Brewing Co is a relaxed taproom situated within a craft brewery that offers live music on weekends and rotating food trucks. The atmosphere is what sets this place apart, with ample board game tables for entertainment and dog-friendly policies. In addition to their excellent beer options, they also offer gluten-free alternatives like wine and cider. Although there are not many barrel-aged brews available, the staff are great fun and engaging.
I have been here multiple times now and the beer is solid, but it is the atmosphere that really sells this place. Large tables for boardgames, dog friendly, able to order pizza or bring in your own food. They also have non-beer options for your gluten free friends (wine and cider).

Started with a 4 star. Beer was excellent, just not as many barrel aged options - which is not a fair rating - as most people probably don't even want a barrel aged brew. And more importantly, the staff there was great - they had their April fool's ploy and were a lot of fun

I use to go every Friday, if not more. Even before they expanded into their current space. I stopped going after waiting in line for the bathroom during one of their events, and being told by a staff member, that since I'm a guy I should just go outside. As someone born and raised in Woodinville, I truly wish this place wasn't here, since it's only looking for profits, and not helping the community any. Let alone that you're basically babysitting other people's kids, while trying to enjoy a beer.

Friendly staff. They have a really good red ale, a kind of beer that is often hard to find. They sell in in a six pack of cans also. Large indoor space with TVs, a nice covered outdoor area also. A really good semi-hipster playlist was on. Many dogs with their owners on site.

Edit: ouch, dropping a star. Met up w/ a friend Sunday night and it was so incredibly 🔊 LOUD 🔊. I had to shout over the game audio and ask my friend many times "what was that?" to understand what he was saying - I asked the barkeep to lower the volume but I guess it wasn't easy. It could have been half that volume. Still great beer.
My absolute favorite place to grab some food and come and have some beer and hang out with my family. I particularly love the nemesis strong milk stout. This has become our replacement for going to the Redhook brewery.
Consistently great wines which showcase red mountain. Complex and can be aged but accessable to everyone. A great place to get into WA wines. Wine club is a good deal too.

Last weekend, we had the immense pleasure of visiting the newly opened Fidélitas tasting room, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I entered, I was enchanted by the beautiful space and the warm welcome from the amazing staff. It's evident that Fidélitas has poured their heart and soul into creating an exquisite sanctuary for wine enthusiasts, and I'm thrilled to share my impressions with you.
Upon arrival, the stunning architecture of the tasting room instantly captured my attention. The modern yet elegant design, with floor-to-ceiling glass walls, allowed natural light to flood the space, making it feel warm and inviting. The lush greenery surrounding the tasting room not only provided a breathtaking view but also perfectly complemented the natural materials used in the interior.
However, the true stars of the Fidélitas tasting room were the incredible staff members. From the moment we entered, they treated us with the utmost care and attention. Their knowledge and passion for the wines were truly remarkable. They were more than happy to answer any questions we had, making the experience educational and enjoyable.
The wines themselves were nothing short of spectacular. I had the pleasure of sampling a diverse range of Fidélitas' latest offerings, each with their unique character and depth.
As I savored each sip, I couldn't help but feel a sense of camaraderie with the other guests, as we all reveled in the shared experience of delighting our palates. Conversations flowed as easily as the wine, and the ambiance of the room seemed to encourage connections and memories to be made.

If you love Red Mountain varietals, Fidelitas is a must visit. The new tasting room is massive so you shouldn’t have any trouble finding a place to sit. We opted for the upstairs patio to take advantage of the warm weather. Staff was friendly and passionate about the wines. Our favorite pour was the Quintessence Merlot, so much so that we took a few bottles home. Tastings were $20 waived with the purchase of a bottle.

Great service and wine options fit my profile. It's a bit of a tight fit however so plan to wait during busy times.

Beautiful tasting room! You can tell they carefully thought through every detail when creating this space. Wonderful customer service, and lovely staff. Go visit, especially on a sunny day.

We loved this little stop on our day outing. We got 4 amazing tastings and our server added an extra one when we showed interest in purchasing a Merlot that was not on the menu. The charcuterie platter was well done and plentiful. The room was spacious. We visited in winter and I am sure it is better in the summer with the loft open. There would be a stunning view.

Complex, confident wines that really show off the Red Mountain fruit. One of the best wineries in Washington. So many options in Woodinville it's easy to get lost-- don't get lost, GO HERE.

Upscale, modern tasting room with warm and inviting 2nd-story outdoor patio area opened spring 2023. $20 tasting for 1 white and 3 reds waived with purchase of $40-$80 bottle. Cashews and chips on offer as palate cleansers. Friendly service with backstory on each varietal. This wine complex, near Willows Lodge, will be shared with 3 other wineries. A fun, relaxing and beautiful Napa style wine retreat right in the Woodinville city limits. Free parking. Reservations highly encouraged. Open 11-5. Recommend a visit!

This was the culminating experience of our Woodinville Wine trip and it really delivered. The tasting room is beautiful, comfortable, and elegantly decorated. We sat at the bar and Kristin and Sheryl took care of us for our tasting. They were incredibly knowledgeable and talked to us about the terroir of Red Mountain, where the grapes from each of our glasses came from, and how the wine was made. The food is also amazing (we highly recommend the Onion Dip!). It was almost impossible to not join the wine club. These wines are such a great value compared to similar wines from the West Coast. The Cabernets were by far our favorite but don't sleep on the Semillon or the Sauvignon Blanc. Both of these were fantastic and great single varietal expressions of fun varietals. This place is a must visit when you're in town.

The wine is not good, but it's conveniently located and the service is good- folks who work here are very nice. Free chips, but the wine is much more expensive than what it's worth. Go next door in any direction, much better.

An incredible experience for any wine lover. I was blown away by their wines and knowledgeable staff. In my opinion, Fidelitas has the best wines in Eastern Washington.

I started out with Fidelitas by visiting the Red Mountain tasting room and absolutely loved it! The setting was spectacular! And I became a club member at the new Woodinville tasting room which is amazing as well.
The wines are one of my very favorites and Jessica has been super responsive and accommodating. I've brought friends there 3 times already and they've all loved it as well!

We loved all the wines, particularly the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. All the wines were so noteworthy, that we had to join the wine club! Shipping is complimentary to members in WA, OR and ID.
The staff was enjoyable and very knowledgeable of the wines and locations of each vineyard. We will certainty return to the Red Mountain AVA, as we love a great red wine!
Brian Carter Cellars is a winery that boasts a tasting room featuring the house label's European-style vintages. Visitors can enjoy sitting outdoors amidst fragrant flowers while sipping on six different bottles of wine, all of which are highly enjoyable. The staff is known for their personable and helpful demeanor, making the overall experience even more pleasant. Along with delicious wine, the winery also offers exceptional food that has earned high praise from customers.
The wine tasting was great and the wine is good. The food however is on a whole other level! Honestly some of the best food I have ever had! The Hamachi Crudo was definitely the best that I have ever had hands down! I will be a regular here because of the food!

We live in the area and have enjoyed this location a number of times... The wines are fun to taste, and we have our favorites... but the real hidden gem is Chef Nick and his obviously classically trained French inspired cuisine. From the melt in your mouth Hamachi Crudo to our most recent experience... the food is always aesthetically perfect with layers of fresh, tantalizing flavors... We started with his special of the day, fresh english pea and green garlic tortelloni in a rosemary reduction with an English pea puree and delicate ribbons of Lardo. the cross between the hand formed, al dente pasta and the fresh herb burst filling this plate exuded joyful spring...
We followed with entrees of duck leg with a molasses glaze and a hearty generous portion of fall apart beef short rib served with handmade gnocchi in a lovely and unique vinaigrette sauce. the duck was melt off the bone perfect and served with a nice, bitey white bean and splash of sweet blackberries for the perfect balance of flavors.
We urge you to go experience Chef Nick's exquisite food, hiding in the shadows of his artist element, in this local tasting room...

Nice pours with good wine. We ended up getting two bottles. One abracadabra and the other I can’t remember but started with a B and it was great. Service was great. Ariel was super helpful and kind.

What a superb experience. Of all tastings, two blends stand out: Tuttorosso (blend of sangiovese, cabernet, syrah) and Oriana (blend of viognier, roussane, riesling). No wonder they won 2023 winery of the year! Their food menu is also deliciously unique, everything worth a try with a pairing of course! So many bottles to choose from for purchase ranging from $25 and up.

WE LOVE BC WINE! This is the wine we buy and save on our bar cart for a nice dinner or when friends who love delicious wine come over for a game night. I’ve also celebrated a friends anniversary party at their tasting room where the wine was flowing and the food was delicious. 10/10 would recommend and always look forward to our experiences at this winery!

What a wonderful evening! We had a lovely dinner and wine tasting over a couple hours Saturday and it was exactly what we needed after a long week. Joel was on point with descriptions and recommendations and took care of us all night. The Chicken thigh and broccolini was delicious. I cannot remember how many wines we tasted but liked the majority of them. Our friend enjoyed the risotto and the raw fish. We will be back and look forward to new menu options and more fun with friends. Thank you!

Went on a beautiful Saturday night with great live music, a well rounded tasting, and excellent service from Wave. Brian himself even stopped by our table and made sure everything was great. The food was also tremendous, would strongly recommend the himachi crudo.

I met a wonderful man today. Ben was very helpful and knowledgeable. My wife and I went in for a tasting and as usual it was fantastic. We had not been in for several years, as we live out of state. The new facility is beautiful, they now have food that you can pair with the wine. We signed up for the wine delivery left with 8 bottles. Whoops might have gone overboard. Turned out Ben is Brian Carter's son. So he has some insight on the wine. He may have started sampling earlier than most.

This place is really cute and I wanted to like it but the service was terrible. When we first walked in the server didn’t even ask about what we liked at all and offered the cheapest bottle of wine. When I said I wanted some thing better he condescendingly said, “this bottle is $15 more.” I wanted to purchase another bottle but they were about to close so they wouldn't sell me one, which is fine. But instead of giving me a recommendation to a bar or a restaurant close by they told me my best bet was to go to the supermarket. I’m sorry but at your old age behind the bar you should be the last person to pass judgment on to anyone. I don’t know if it’s because we were a group of POC and/or because we were young, but sir we definitely aren’t broke. We went to Vons and had a much better experience there.

Place is cute inside. Smaller winery than others in woodinville. I’d say most wines we tried were of quality and had great flavor. Service was lacking and reason for my 2 stars. Somewhat left unattended.

I have never been compelled to write about how much I dislike a bottle of wine until "Blackboard Red Wine" by Matthews! $22 I paid for this POS drinks about 5 or 6 bucks, empty tech filtered garbage! Don't purchase this wine I promise you won't like it.

What a lovely winery! We had a great time and a fantastic wine sommelier. They arranged for us to sit by the fireplace and on the couches. The wines were all delicious, and we ended up purchasing a few bottles. The space is lovely, and we hope to return in the summer to sit outside!

Great wine, the clarets are beautiful. Unfortunately had a similar experience as other reviews with service. We were ignored and waited close to an hour for our first wine taster. The staff didn’t even explain which wine was which on the table. Ordered 2 bottles before leaving and had to repeatedly ask for the wine. Staff clearly forgot but were rude and dismissive towards us. Get staff that actually want to be there!

Their cab is great but over priced, strange how they handle outside seating, only 6 places to sit on the grass get there early. Wine is bold and still one of our favorites
Darin Brewster — Google review
My absolute favorite winery in the world, and the staff is warm and friendly. The wine is definitely worth every penny, and really neat environment out in Woodinville Washington. The location is a little past some of the other wineries (if you are coming from the south on Woodinville Redmond road), so make sure to keep going until you see Matthews on the right hand side.
Carter Gray — Google review
Cuvées, clarets, & cabs oh my! 2019 was a great vintage hose Cabernet Sauvignons are worthy of aging a few more years. Their cuvées are delicious & ready to drink now. Their clarets are quite tasty & enjoyable. Their merlot is spectacular. Their Jaime Blanc de Blanc was exceedingly dry & bordered on brettanomyces & pomelo pith mouthfeel. Great Jaime Rosé.
CJ P — Google review
Excellent wines, especially their Syrahs. Wide variety of Bordeaux-style wines (blends) and single grape varietals. This isn't a traditional tasting room - really more of a single owner wine bar, so don't expect your server to educate you on the wines/winemaker/etc.
Matt Oja — Google review
Matthews is the crown jewel among many great wineries in Woodinville. While they specialize in French style red wines, there is so much variety on the menu and I'm yet to try a wine I don't love there. Aside from the great wine, the tasting room is stunning inside and out. In the summer, the garden is the perfect spot to enjoy rosé, and Matthews has a little deli inside where you can buy snacks and make a diy charcuterie and cheese plate. Finally, the folks who work in the tasting room are the best! On my most recent visit, Bailey helped my friend and me and made our experience feel extra special with her outstanding customer service and energy. She clearly knows so much about wine, but talks about it in an approachable way that made my friend and me, who have very different levels of wine knowledge from each other, both feel like we could follow along and learn more about their processes and wine in general. My friend and I both ended up joining their wine club during our visit because of the great tasting room experience we had and how consistently delicious the wines are. Matthews owners - Bailey is such an asset to your team and I can't wait for future tastings there with your awesome staff!
Update: just came in for my wine club pickup and my husband and I tasted with Rob. I am just at a loss for words about what a cool, amazing server Rob is. His knowledge of wine among many other subjects is astounding. Matthews is the best not only because they have the best wine, but also because they have the best people working there.
Tianna was super helpful in explaining the different types of wines for a tasting. Highly recommend! Very good wines and have a good mix of whites and reds. I'm partial to the white and Fly Girl was my fave...a good blend.

The girlfriend, who is a member here for years, and I stopped in for a quick tasting a few Fridays ago. It was my first time and I've got to say it's my last time. It took over 20 minutes for someone to come help us at the table. We placed our order and watched as the waitress filled other orders for the next 30 minutes while telling us "it's coming up" each time she walked by. Woodinville has too many wineries to choose from so I'd imagine taste and service are up there as #1 and #2 for differentiation. First impression of this place was garbage. I won't be going back and I'll be sure to share this experience with anyone wanting to visit their tasting room.

My partner and I visited Airfield Estates’ tasting room two weekends ago with a small group of friends, and we were really appreciative of their team’s flexibility and hospitality. We had a small group who met us there, and the staff offered some last-minute flexibility with our reservation, and checked in on us regularly. Most importantly: the wine was great! We tried three different bottles (the reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Runway blend) and everyone in our group enjoyed them…even those who don’t typically prefer reds. It was a great visit, and we’ll definitely pick up more of their wine in the future!
Randall Williams — Google review
Reservation is recommended for wine tasting and parking is limited. The service was a bit slow but they did gave us 2 extra sample of the wine. Out of all the wine I tasted, the Runway was good. My least favorite was the Mourvedre.
Suwida — Google review
Flight of wine was great. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Took the Chardonnay and the Rosé home. I wish there had been more menu options than the meat and cheese board or that sharing the platter in a largish group was more appropriate in COVID times. (Also had vax status checked upon entry. I was glad I had added to my home screen just a few days ago.)
My least favorite thing was the bar stools. The foot bar was not high enough for me; I felt like I was constantly in danger of sliding off. A few others in my party wound up standing because of this issue.

This is, by far, the most underrated tasting room in the state of Washington! All of the wines on their tasting menu were really amazing, and we love the service. This is a must go to place at Woodinville, and it must bring home a bunch of wine sort of place! We will be back here a whole bunch because the wines were great, the service is great, and the whole experience was wonderful .
The whole history behind of the name and The winery is so unbelievably under sold, you have to ask about it and then look at the photographs, and then realize how amazing all of this is!
Chris Rakunas — Google review
Came here with my friend and boyfriend. The tables were full with a couple big groups so we had our tastings and the back counter where you'd pay.
It's a cute tasting room, nice atmosphere, some merchandise available for purchase. It's connected to another tasting room, but that one was really busy as well so we didn't bother going over there.
The tastings are awesome here and I think it was only $5? We ended up buying a bottle so the fee was waived.
Bim S — Google review
You get one large wine glass to pour your own wine into, so the flavors are mixed from one to the next. The decanters are labeled with numbers, and if you have a great memory, you might know which is which after the speedy description you get when they are brought to the table.
On a positive note, we get to keep the plastic cup the frose is serve in!!! I’m assuming we can also keep the straw, but I’m not sure.
We then ordered a charcuterie tray. We were delighted to learn it was prepared “picnic style” upon delivery, which did not include utensils, but did include a plastic bag as a portable storage container in case you wanted a snack on the go.
We are going to another winery next and I’m confident that as long as it’s not on fire when we get there, it will be a better experience.
Edit: we walked out with two bottles of wine and the cost was covered by our two wine tastings. You just earned yourself back a star Airfield Estates.

Amazing wine! Came here on a Saturday to check out their selection and I have to say, they were all pretty good. If you’re here for the flight, I would go with the Founder’s selection. The “Mustang” and the “Michael Miller” really stood out for me. The entire staff was great. We had a very nice lady named Jessica who explained the differences between the wines. Definitely come check this place out!

Wine was good but service was deplorable. We got the tasting menu and the server rushed the first two wines and then disappeared for at least 20 minutes. We had to ask another server to fill in. Our original server finally returned and brought out the wrong bottle. Twice. The lady server passive aggressively put a “reserved at 1:30pm” sign on our table and then came back a little later to ask us if we were “wrapping up.” I get needing to clear a space for a reservation, but there are much kinder ways to go about it. Especially when it took them so long to get us through the tasting menu. I’m not coming back.

Paradise Valley Conservation Area Parking and Trail Head
The Paradise Valley Conservation Area Parking and Trail Head is a natural park that features wetland, stream, and forest environments. Visitors can enjoy wildlife viewing as well as hiking and biking. The park receives a rating of 4 stars due to its accessibility and interesting habitat - it offers a fun place for exercise while feeling out of town. Multi-use trails are available, but they tend to impede the experience for all users.
This is a lovely park, with well marked and maintained trails. You can walk through numerous ecosystems, and it's beautiful!

4 stars not for world class wilderness, but for accessibility of the feeling of being out of town and for interesting habitat as well as a fun place to get some exercise. I understand the need for multi use trails, but in practice they tend to make the experience worse for all users, but if you come here for a quick hike, there's enough options to link together little loops and mostly avoid the bikes. I didn't see any horses, and most pleasurably, no horse $?!# attracting horseflies. There are big trees, lovely flora, and enough quiet to hear the birds.

Beware of attack owls! This has been one of my favorite local set of trails for over ten years. This season there has been a warning sign at the trailhead that owls have been dive bomb attacking, and this evening as I was finishing up a short hike at dusk, I had the terrifying experience of having my head randomly struck by what felt like a bowling ball with razor sharp talons. I screamed and then saw the owl fly away and realized what it had been. I took this photo and walked away, only to be fiercely bombarded like lightening again, exact same place on my head. I then ran the rest of the trail as if that would be a be any help - I don't know what any of us can do to prevent these attacks, as their flight is completely silent and there is no warning. But the experience drew blood on my scalp and was absolutely horrifying.

This place is just so beautiful. I’m from Virginia and frequently go into the mountains for hiking. The trees here in Washington truly have nothing on Virginia. They are so unique and amazing to look at. We did the mainline trail from the end parking lot to the main lot. It was about 1.8 miles or so. There is a port a John at the main parking spot but I’d say it was the nastiest port a John I’ve been into. Feces everywhere, practically full toilet. O. The way back we decided to combine trails so we did the walking only trail that connected to another before landing us back on mainline trail. The foot path only trail is over grown and we were constantly walking through shrubbery. Luckily it wasn’t a long trail. Still a beautiful place highly recommend.

I love hiking here. the trail system is extensive, well-marked, and in good condition. There is a nice mix of deciduous forest and conifer woods. Good birding, and a wide variety of native plants and fungi. Not usually too crowded.

It's a beautiful place to hike and bike. The trails are easy, clean, and marked well. We did almost five miles hike, but you could definitely do a longer hike.
Zarina Christensen — Google review
Very easy hiking trails that wind around some very good foliage. Lots of people cycle through the trails so be very mindful of where you are going. There are warning signs for bears, and we saw a snake slither across the path. Not a lot of parking so you may have to park on the side of the road. The elevation gain is not much, though we only went on the Main Line, Two Trees, Red Alder, & Southern Traverse trails.

Great area for a nice walk to get away from it all that isn’t too far from home. So many mushrooms and slugs, beautiful lush forest floor with ferns and moss. Can be muddy so wear appropriate shoes. My family of 4 enjoys walks here and can walk for an hour or two. There is a spot called “The clearing” with picnic tables for a lunch and to chill with a book If you’d like to along the Mainline Trail. You can find more info about this trail and the trails in this park on the AllTrails App. Great place for families to explore with little ones.

I can't believe that is the same place so believe it or not I was around when they were first building Brightwater...when it was a baseball field, I want to say and old tow yard or junk yard and I remember 1 building there. There was nothing there, but it seems like a very nice and peaceful place to go to. The staff there were very nice, helpful and informative. I think the experience is cool but they take way too long to keep a 4th graders attention while going back and forth inside and outside. Now I think 5th grade and above it is the perfect age to start with. Overall a very easy, fun, and close field trip.

We are winery owners and enjoy visiting other wineries when we travel. We stopped in today on our way from Vancouver to SeaTac based on a comment from a friend who went to school with the owner Chris. He wasn’t there, but we shared the white and the red tastings. They have a great presentation of the wines with a tasting mat. Of the 10 wines we tried, we really enjoyed the Pearl Sauv Blanc, Lumiere Chardonnay, Holler Cab Sauv, Preposterous Malbec and the Rainmaker Cab Sauv.
The staff…Brian, Randi and Rochelle…were great! Highly recommend and we will be back at some point when we can stay a little longer. Thanks for the recommendation Chuck Martin! Cheers 🍷👍🏻

The setting at aMaurice cellars makes me laugh when I compare this to my first winery experience in Napa and Sonoma in the 1970s. Back then, you would drive up to a barn, the actual winemakers would meet you in overalls and big rubber boots. Sitting down on some folding chairs at an upturned wine barrel, you would sip their offerings, figuring out what you liked until you drove to the next winery/barn down the road.
aMaurice is located in a strip mall of wineries with bunches of people tasting wines outside each winery storefront during the pandemic. The servers would pour the latest offerings, providing very little information. At aMaurice, they’re hostesses rather than winemakers. aMaurice wines are good, if a bit too fruity for my palate. I still sense a difference between old world wines and new world wines. They may be the same grape varietal, but those European vines and that French, Italian, Spanish, Slovenian soil gives the juice a maturity I can taste. Fruit makes me pucker. Aged tannins make me smile. Whatever my palate, we enjoyed our chilly hour tasting wines at aMaurice. I bought a couple of bottles and off we went to our next commercial wine tasting storefront. It’s a new world all right.
