I love the look of this small towns downtown area.
Everything from the businesses it holds to the food and atmosphere.
There you will find art displays along it's main street and many hidden treasures can be found in this small lovely neighborhood

Very weird vibe. Was ignored in Several stores. Never greeted like other customers when entering stores. In a restaurant, not waited on or spoken to for 15 mins. ( It was not slammed & had several wait staff walking around) Even had a couple outwardly aggressive looks. Very unnerving. Later we were informed by a local the history of the town & researched the bronze statutes in the area which explained alot.

Downtown Grand Junction Colorado is a vibrant, diverse fun experience. Make your way to Small Mall on Main, 558 Main Street for a super fun shopping experience..It's over 30 local vendors under one roof!

Beautiful downtown. A lot of variety of shops. Amazing food, awesome art spots and many others that we didn't get to. We will be going back sometime this year or next year.

Enjoyed a warm summer night (after 7pm) in Downtown Grand Junction. A sweet little downtown with beautiful flowers, fun boutiques and eateries. We stopped @ Gelato Junction and had some delicious homemade gelato (Samoa Cookie). Give it a try next time your in town!

I came to Grand Junction to visit a canine friend who moved here last year from Oregon. So I had zero expectations about the town.
Yet I found it delightful, charming, artistic and hip.
The dog (Memphis a boxer) and her human parents and I went to a nighttime farmers market, brews and music festival, and the vibe was all what you would hope for from a middle sized Colorado town. Laid back, family friendly.

Parade of lights took about 2 1/2 hours of wonder of the light s it was nice but very long. It was the 'Jurassic Christmas' theme 2023 .
Lots of different floats this year. To long for the kids to see Santa we felt early . .

SO much local art (there is a specific program name, which I forget). Our local friends took us visitors up and down the main street. We even ran into a bagpipe and Celtic dancers group - best I've ever heard.
I could've used a public restroom or two - I saw the Sign but not the place.
On a weekday evening the parking was easy, convenient and free.
Of course, the art was the best part.

Being there at a cold winters day was most likely different than on a summers day. It was a bit empty as it was cold, but I thing it will be a very nice place on a summers day. At least it was not all done for cars but there were room for walking down the main street.
We absolutely loved every minute of our stay at Two Rivers. The staff went above and beyond and we felt truly taken care of. Our room was beautiful, clean, and plush, and the wine was the best of those that we tried along our travels in Grand River and Palisades. Breakfast was great and with such thoughtfulness to prepare food, accommodating our dietary restrictions. Thank you so much for such a memorable stay, we can't wait to visit again.

Stayed here on a recommendation and were really glad we did. The rooms at the chateau were great, comfortable quiet and spacious. Very nice friendly staff. Throw in a great price, great free breakfast and wine tasting and it was all good !! Highly recommend

This is an attractive winery and a lot of their reds are among the best in the valley. However, the staff seem to range from terrific to terrible. I used to recommend this place to friends but after I needed to make an adjustment to a reservation, they were extremely uncaring. Buy their wine from your local liquor store so you can get it and they get less of a cut.

Beautiful spot for a wedding and reception! The views, the rooms, and the venue is just gorgeous! Couldn't ask for a better backdrop with the Colorado National Monument in the background and the staff is amazing and so helpful! Highly recommend for any event!

Imagine driving for six hours. You allowed extra time because the weather was snowy/icy. Then you get to the place where you booked. (Two River Winery) The drive was easier than anticipated so you get there early. You walk in - knock on the office door to check-in. No answer. There is a sign on the door that says 'the office is closed."You look at the front door and see a sign that says check in with the bartender if you are checking in. You go to the bartender - he passes you off to someone else who takes you back to the office. He opens the door and there is a lady there eating a heaping plate of food. She sees me and says "Sorry I didn't answer the door when you knocked. I was on the phone." Then she says "You're early... we don't check people in before 3 pm." I said I just drove 6 hours to get here and I'm not feeling that nice welcome I usually get when I arrive at a hotel/B & B/etc.. A place you plan and pay for in advance so you can get some nice hospitality, What we get is lambasted for arriving at 12:45 instead of 3 pm - for interrupting your phone calls and your chance to chow down. More chastising followed.... "It's customary to check in at 3 pm" "If you had read the email that we sent you would know check-in isn't until 3 pm." The tone is beyond condescending, meant to degrade and scold. The rude talk continues. "It's polite to call ahead of time and let us know you're arriving early." Imagine being scolded by the place you have chosen to pay to stay- to spend some relaxing time at. After some inhospitable back and forth the lady whose meal I interrupted says maybe we're not a good fit. She refunds my money. Meanwhile, the guy takes out his phone and starts videotaping me. I played the actor for him and spoke to him about how inhospitable the managers are at The Two Rivers Winery. Nothing like immediately getting chastised upon arriving at your destination after a long journey. If you value your getaways and need to be pampered and feel valued- you must avoid Two Rivers Winery in Grand Junction at all costs. But, if you enjoy rude, disrespectful, and creepy gatekeepers.... then you might actually like this place.

Cannot say enough wonderful things about this gorgeous paradise! This is my third time staying here, and it is absolute indulgence… from the exquisitely scrumptious beds to the complimentary wine tasting (my favorite vineyard BY FAR) to attentive staff (Britanny and Rob are fabulous!!)… attention to detail is evident throughout. The perfect spot for a girls weekend, romantic getaway, or just because. 5 GIANT stars!!!! And can’t wait to come back again 💕

I was visiting the area from out of state and stopped in for a tasting. The tasting room was so nice, friendly service and the wine was amazing. My only complaint was not having a bigger suitcase to bring more than 2 bottles back with me. This is a must for anyone in the area.
Loved it so much, I joined the wine club and ordered a few bottles to have for the holidays.😊

During my stay, the staff was more than accommodating, friendly, and personable. They treat you as an individual, not just another guest. At the time I was the only tenant but every single morning there was a full breakfast spread with fresh hot coffee. Two Rivers Winery is an exquisite experience unparalleled with other options that charge more and offer far less.

What a quaint winery. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Beautiful facility. We needed up having some wine shipped. It was difficult to choose which was the best, we managed to narrow it down to six. Don’t miss this stop, worth the time.
EDITED—we received our wine. Very nicely packaged and just as delicious as we tasted. Thank you Two Rivers & staff.

I've been staying at the chateau for years whenever I come to Grand Junction, and I've never had a bad stay. It's beautiful inside and out, and the views of the Monument are amazing. Everyone is so friendly and kind, and the value is exceptional. They've gone out of their way more than once to accommodate my needs, and showed a lot of concern for me when I was visiting my father in the hospital. It's truly family-run and feels that way.

Lovely stop on a Sunday drive with a girlfriend visiting from California. Warmly greeted on an overcast, chilly afternoon. Fire was lit in the tasting room. The flights are in perfect order all delicious. My favorite Cabernet and also Tulip. Relaxed lovely environment if there was one suggestion, please put piped in music, or wireless speaker. As room echoes and conversations are heard. Music would just add to the ambience. Highly recommend a stop reasonable price. Thank you for a lovely afternoon!

Great experience!
Wines were great, rooms very comfortable, staff accommodating, and the breakfast was 5 Stars.
I personally ran 2 wineries in Napa, stayed in B&B’s there and visited many wineries and yet this hidden gem gives you the same experience but in the Grand Junction CO area! Very great stop on way to Moab or even on an adventure to Rockies!
Very relaxing on a long adventure.
The winery makes their wines with solely sourced grapes from the local appellation, and I must say they are really pretty good!
Bob, Billie, Rob, Brittany, and LeighAnn are all family and make you feel like you are a relative too!
Visited in March, so I’m sure with the summer concerts, warm weather, and romance of being surrounded by grapevines, spring, summer, and fall colors also offer a full range of activities to go with staying in such a beautiful place, something you want to experience!

Wow! Colorado had a wine scene. We enjoyed the vintners blend, the cab, a few others and the property. They also allow dogs to sit in the grassy area. So, our pup was able to hang with us.
I was a bit surprised, however, that they didn't wave the tasting fee when we purchased our wine. Wineries we've been to in Oregon and California generally wave the tasting fees if you purchase wine onsite.
Canyon View Park spans across 110 acres and offers a variety of recreational activities such as baseball, tennis, and volleyball courts. The park also features several fields, a dog park, little ponds and paved paths. It is an ideal location for outdoor family gatherings with its shaded picnic area complete with grills and gazebo for parties. Moreover, the play structure has been designed to cater to all ages and physical abilities including a wheelchair accessible swing.
We’re from California but we drive to visit family in Kansas and South Dakota; we have stopped at this park every time we have been through Grand Junction over the last 7 years. Amazing playground, relatively clean bathrooms (for an outdoor facility), handicap accessible playground including a swing for a wheelchair. 5/5 would recreate here again.

Really fun for all ages. Bathrooms and covered pavilion with lots of picnic tables available. Super busy on nice weekends. Kind of terrifying when it’s busy and you’re trying to keep track of 4 little kids, but they do love this park! There is a pond just behind the playground, so something to keep in mind if you have toddlers that like to wander.

I stopped here to stretch out my legs. Well equipped park with all the fields for sports. It is big enough to get a run in without it feeling like you’re going to be lapping the same thing over and over. There is a fishing pond that is probably stocked, it’s smallish. Great children’s playground and outdoor exercise equipment. I really like it the adult sized pull up and monkey bars. Bathrooms. Good pit stop during a road trip right off i70.

This is always such a fun park to visit. From feeding ducks in the lakes, to fishing, to magnet fishing, to playground, to many different sports, this park has it all!
Only thing I would change is have a fence surrounding the children playground with one entrance. It would make keeping an eye on the children so much easier.

The Museum of the West, also known as the Museums of Western Colorado, showcases Colorado's history through exhibits featuring 19th-century firearms, adobe pottery, and a uranium mine. Despite its small size, the museum offers insightful displays on cowboy culture and mining. Visitors can also learn about Anasazi history in certain areas. The collection of guns is especially impressive, including a sawed-off shotgun used by stagecoach guards.
Great place to get a historical inside into the local area. We really enjoyed it. The tower offers a 360° view of the town and its scenic backgrounds.

The museum is pretty small, I wouldn't say it's worth the seven dollars but I do understand that these places must be having a tough time as of late.
It's insightful into cowboy stuff and mining as well, you will find some areas which have some info on Anasazi stuff too.
There is an awesome rooftop stairway which provides some awesome panoramic views as well.

My husband and I enjoyed. I liked the photographs and teddy Roosevelt exhibits. Always seeing pottery too. Soooo many rifles and pistols, I don't know much about different ones. But liked seeing them too. Big old fire truck! Very enjoyable museum! Tower was closed due to snow and ice.

Was not sure what to expect. The museum was advertised as one of the top sites to visit in Grand Junction. My traveling partner and I walked to the museum and I was glad we did! For two adults, there were plenty of interactive sets and genuine artifacts from the time periods described. I was fascinated by the local history. I would also highly recommend visiting the tower. The view from the tower definitely provides perspective. As it seems like one of the only few structures that allow you to view the city from that elevation, that isn't on top of a Mesa.

It was a very enjoyable visit. The climb to the top of the tower is worth it; beautiful views of Grand Junction and the surrounding area.
It is always so fun to come here.
My family has been here many times and went to the Old orchard Mesa location often as well.
I loved the new exhibits, we always find something very entertaining here. The amount of knowledge to learn is wonderful as well.
I especially enjoyed the dollar magnifier. I had no idea what was hidden on the five dollar bill.
Shout out to Austin(desk attendant) and Clark(volunteer) for making our experience extra enjoyable.
I had great conversations with both of them and Austin was quick to assist me with anything I mentioned. At one point during the visit, the ball elevator was too full of balls and Clark quickly repaired the amazing ball elevator while demonstrating how it was done for our group.

I used the library pass, I used my library card at the public library to reserve the museum pass for the eureka museum. Super simple. You can do it online or go in and reserve your spot. If you Don't have the pass from the library. It will cost you a small fee. Are there is a picture of the board, family cost or single individual costs? Great place to go and learn all about science and the fish is a bonus.

Was at the local library checking out a parks pass when they mentioned a free pass good for a week for the Eureka Science Museum, not knowing much about it we figured this would be perfect for testing the waters with our little one.
There is such a variety of activities for all ages that all of us were entertained. Everything is hands on and staff is available to help with demonstrations. Air, water and live animals, a cave, fish tanks and corner for the toddlers and under. It's a wonderland.
The gift shop area has the coolest books and toys and honestly reasonably priced compared to some place.
It was crowded with multiple school trips. The front counter did let me know though that weekends are a much more leisurely pace.
I would most certainly recommend this location for family fun and will be returning many more times in the future.

I am so disappointed in the customer service I was given by the staff at the museum. I had purchased a family pass for a couple of years for my grandkids that live in the area. There are 5 kids in the family and no where on the web site was it stated that the family pass was for only 4 kids and two adults. This past year when they would go to the museum, the staff would give them a hard time and did not want to let the whole family in without paying more. When I called and talked with the team about this, they hurried and changed their info on the site but would not help me other than telling me that my kids would have to pay each time they went for an additional family member. I did not renew my family pass.
I feel that they are discriminating against larger families, without offering another family membership (even at a higher cost) to accomidate these families.
They also could improve on the way they talk to their customers and try working with them. I guess they don't need my business or do not want my grandkids to visit their museum.
What an Amazing Pl., Grand Junction is. It has literally a little bit of everything. So many places to see so many things to go to activities and much more. From horseback riding to Hot Springs to historical places a great place to bring the kids family or even a romantic getaway. Beautiful surroundings, great vine. The team are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They really know how to make great vines. We felt welcome at the tasting room, or outdoor seating. Some of the best wines in the area. This is Colorado's hidden Napa Valley. We've never been disappointed in Whitewater Hill Vineyard wines. They really know there products. One of our very favorites. UPDATE 8-24-22. This vineyard comes to the Denver Metro area twice a year. This past August they even offered Palisade Peaches, this was a special treat. I did buy a case of Rose truly yummy wine. The peaches were as big as softballs, and the taste was as if you had just picked them. Made jam and cobbler. the Rose wine is to die for. Also the Chardonnay and Cab. Are a delight. To be honest we've never been disappointed.

Amazing semi-sweet wines and gorgeous location. The dry reds and dry whites all tasted very acidic and harsh - it could have just been the vintage though. I was there three years ago and remember enjoying most of the wines. If you like sweet, white wine - I would definitely visit this place. They have a seating area out front overlooking the vineyard which is beautiful. Staff is very friendly too. During COVID, I would suggest bringing your own snacks to pair with. They have some pesto, salsa and spreads for sale inside that would do well on crackers, bread or cheese.

Birthday party or just an hour of family fun, it's worth it to take your kiddo.

When we got there it was really busy and we had to wait for a good bit to get up to the counter. The staff was awesome and was very helpful with showing me how to fill out the waiver. At one point I needed to get my daughter out of the trampoline playground for the toddlers and Austin tried to get her to come out to me and when she would not come out he let me in to go get her even though I didn't have the right socks. By far the nicest person there. I only say that because I dealt with him the most. Besides letting me get my daughter he went out of his way t0 try and make sure we got a table to celebrate our son's birthday party. I would highly recommend this place. Even though it was packed the staff did an awesome job making sure all kiddos were safe. The only thing I didn't like was seeing other kids bullied by kids there. That's not really a fault on the staff. I think that is something parents of kids need to watch for and make sure their kids aren't bullying others. This world is way too short lived for it to be made terrible for others by ppl who have no respect for others.

It's a really fun place the kids had a blast !! The BIGGEST BUMMER 👨🔧👨🔧 is the place is NOT very sanitized at All just filthy it's a very dirty place,,and we will not be back sadly

A little pricey. NO tables other than for reserved parties. But the kids have fun

Very impressed with the birthday party reservations they offer. It was very easy to schedule and the staff although young were very accommodating and EXTREMELY helpful with whatever we needed. One of the few establishments that allows you to bring outside food and drinks to please party guests.

Really fun place! Went for the first time with a group of friends. Everyone working at the front desk had a great attitude and were very helpful. I appreciate that everyone must were the socks they provide to assure cleanliness. There is a ton of fun and exciting things for the kids to do! The waiver kind of freaked me out a little bit. However, I do understand that when you go to a trampoline park, there are risks that you're willing to take.

Fun place for kiddos, went there today and noticed when you first walk in there’s a BIG inflatable play land. It definitely takes up that whole area, they have their bday tables on the other side now, and the tables are limited. There isn’t ANY seating room for the parents, it’s definitely more crowded. Wish they would figure something out to accommodate seating for parents and grandparents that take their children/grandchildren there.
M M — Google review
It's actually a really fun place. But the internet was down and had to write down my card info. Not something I'm overjoyed about. IT IS SO HOT IN THERE. Floors are always sticky, even without the socks. It smells. The lockers didn't work so I carried my items in my pockets and didn't fully enjoy the experience I paid for, kids got to though and that's why I go. The new inflatable attraction was really fun. The staff is always nice and helpful where they can be. For nearly $90 for an hour for a family of 5, there isn't any excuse why it can't smell good, be clean and things work.
Edit. After reading a few more reviews, wah to the family who wasn't given a butler service at $150 for a birthday. But also agree, IT IS TOO HOT, in there. Maybe the staff needs to jump for 30 minutes and then locate to the two places you can find the air flow to cool down.
Bathrooms are filthy. With no paper towels. So we have to use the "clean" air dryers. I shook my hands and walked out. The arcade games don't work correctly, are empty, pool tables don't work the times I've been there.
Look, I'm not trying to down this business, as it is a fun place and idea. The one I went to in Denver, with obviously more revenue, was way better kept. So I'll give some slack. But being a business, you need to adjust and accommodate your guests.
For a business to have a guest die there, with or without a waiver. And still survive to run, must've had a good CPA or lawyer.
Not sure if this place is locally owned, or owned by out of staters.
That's all. That's my recommendation. Great place. But expect, mediocre luxury at a $100 an hour.

Great fun for the kiddos! Way too many kids in there at one time. It is extremely easy to "lose" track of the littler ones. No way to see them at all times in some areas. They need a better system to ensure the kids leave with the correct adult. The smaller kid play area is right next to the front door. Super fun place though!

We went for Toddler hours on Sunday Morning. Active but not busy. Plenty of variety for a 1.5 yo and a 5 yo. Looks like a great place for party gatherings. Lots of parents supervision. Bring your own friction socks or buy there. Required and necessary. Fun outing.

So I’m not usually one to complain… and I have to say that this is a great place to take your kids to play when the weather is undesirable. I have a 2.5 & 4 yr old, we came at 11:30 and missed most of toddler time. Now I had promised we would go as a reward to my toddler for using the potty, so we payed the regular price and jumped for two hours still. It wasn’t busy so they didn’t have any issues, but we paid 22$ each…. This felt a bit outrageous ($60+ for 3 for 2 hours?) My other qualms are that it’s called Get Air, and seems to be linked to the franchise, but is not, so the online promotions elsewhere do not apply which is misleading when thinking we’ll get 50% off for the national trampoline day the other locations were promoting. Additionally, it’s not that well maintained… the kids climbing place is filthy, and the water in the bathroom is ice cold my kids don’t want to wash hands because it’s too cold. Sorry again to complain, but perhaps these things could be improved?

Can be affordable, check out their website for discount days/hours.. one of the few places you can go to have fun all year round as it is indoors!!
90% of our visits have been fantastic! Our negative experiences were to do with the arcade games not working and I couldn’t find an employee anywhere. It was close to closing and I had to look all over three different times which made it so I didn’t get to play the arcade games with my family and I got so frustrated we just ate the loss $ wise.
They still get 5 stars though because the positives highly outweigh the negative. I’ve had some really great interactions with some employees and that evens out for the ones you can tell don’t want to be working. (Found them playing in the foam pit haha)
This place is fun! The kids love it!
Suggestions: you should sell some sort of food! Also the balls in the dodgeball area should be something other than foam as I’ve seen lots of little kids picking them apart 😩
A really awesome addition idea: a balance beam over a foam pit with the paddle things to try and knock the other person off 🤔 could be fun?!
Chelsea M — Google review
I don't come here often because $14 a person seems like a lot for one hour. An hour goes fast it should be more like two hours!
And I have a circus so it's expensive 😂
I don't see that they offer memberships like most jumps parks have. It would be awesome if they did or considered it.
My kids and myself always have so much fun here.
James M. Robb - Colorado River State Park offers a variety of outdoor activities, including a boat ramp, fishing lake, camping sites, picnic areas, and playgrounds. The park is easily accessible via a scenic trail and offers stunning views of the expansive lake and the Colorado River. Some state parks along the river offer more shaded areas than others, but all are fully accessible for people with disabilities.
Great campground with full hook ups. Soaring rock formations that border the mighty Colorado River are some of the most breathtaking in the world. Great fishing!

I enjoy Island Acres. Nestled along the infamous Colorado this park offers beautiful views of Buttes and spires that look as if they can touch clouds. On occasion you might even catch the rocky mountain rams hanging among the many cliffs. If you enjoy nature watching or fancy a quick dip in the swimming pond this place has more to offer than just that. From camp grounds to gazebos that you can rent, this location has something for everyone of all ages.

Great local spot to walk, fish, take your dog, bike. Right by the Colorado River. Plenty of wildlife in the area. Green during the summer. Part of the Colorado River trail system. Casual or serious, amazing ponds, lakes, rivers, and trails.

All of these state parks on the Colorado River are wonderful. Some provide more shade than others. Riverfront trail is fully accessible for people of all abilities.

This is a great place to take kids fishing. If you want a guaranteed good time tike small hooks and worms and kids can catch 100s of small bluegill. You won't be able to get them away from the lake until your out of worms. Also you have a chance of some pretty large fish coming out of here too.
Bobby Reader — Google review
0.9 miles around Corn Lake. The River Trail is right there also. Clean little State Park and nice paved trails. Dogs on leash only and watch for bicyclists
***EDIT***
Since this 5 star review the park is looking "shabby". I spoke with a Ranger while getting my Fishing License there and brought up I come atleast 3 times a week to walk my dog around Corn Lake and there is never any toilet paper or dog poop bags anymore. The amount of dog poop and trash not being picked up is sad and trash/litter has been in the same spot for 2 weeks. Also, unleashed dogs in the park. It's like no one is "patrolling" it anymore. The Ranger blamed EVERYTHING on the homeless. I never see homeless there and not sure it's them stealing all the dog poop bags out of the dispenser so I'm not buying that. I hope someone there sees this that can make a difference. It's a beautiful state park, let's all do better and keep it that way!

This is our favorite place to Camp locally! We are counting down for spring.Island acres is always our first camping trip of the season and we are never disappointed. We love this Campground rain or shine! There's plenty of walking paths and plenty of room to ride our bikes. In The heat of Summer our favorite thing to do is play in the river! The ponds are also a great place to paddleboard or fish. If I never traveled outside of Colorado there are plenty of places to vacation for the rest of my life and this is one of our favorite places!

Modest botanical garden featuring a variety of plant & flower species, plus a butterfly pavilion.
This is a delightful place to visit! Anytime of year is great but I especially live it during the winter months. The Bird of Paradise and Poinsettias alone are worth a visit!

We had a nice time at the gardens, despite it being winter. It was nice and warm inside. Lots of butterflies and tortoises and even a resident cat. There are some amazing plants and blooms inside. I can't wait to check out the exterior gardens when the weather is a bit warmer. Although it being winter during our visit, we still explored the gardens and had a nice walk and enjoyed the sculptures. The staff was very friendly and there was a little gift shop with kids of cut and fun it's got sale.

I've heard great things about this place and was very excited to take my grandson. I don't even know if we saw the whole place because there was nobody to tell us where to go and what to see. There should be a map or something. We didn't see any butterflies, thank goodness for the turtles, we at least got some photos with them. The plant life is beautiful, but I still feel like we must have missed something.

This place is awesome! I'm not sure what I liked more the drinks or the atmosphere. It's the perfect place to go for a relaxing night out. I enjoyed the craft vodka and gin here, I think they’ve put together a great menu with their tasty all in-house spirits and local flavors. I think the atmosphere inside is comfortable but tight and full of lavender products. Yes, it is a lavender farm but still. Since they just opened I will give them the benefit of the doubt and look forward to updating this review in warmer weather in the near future.
Things are really going well for these guys and the back area has come together nicely! Drinks are still on point, make a stop!

They have an outdoor and indoor seating area. The service was incredible, and the owner took the time to really talk to us about the different drinks to make sure we were ordering something we would enjoy. After each drink he came to check and make sure we enjoyed them. We can’t wait for fall nights out here and will definitely be back!

Lincoln Park is a stunning recreational area in Grand Junction with plenty of amenities such as a 9-hole golf course, tennis courts, an arboretum and walking trails. It is well-maintained with mature trees providing ample shade. The park offers multiple gathering spots including playgrounds, tables, and a gazebo with BBQ facilities that need to be reserved. Trash cans are conveniently located throughout the park to keep it clean.
We went to the Lincoln park pool and I just live that there is something for all ages. The splash pad for Littles is the perfect add on and there is even a shade canopy to help protect from heat and sun exposure. The smaller pool being more like a wading pool is great for those with Littles that aren't quite swimmers and it's big enough for everyone to hang out together.

Cross Orchards Historic Site, Museums of Western Colorado
This is a fun and free museum (they take donations, help keep them going) that has train cars, model trains (gvmrc), an orchard, silo, workshop, gazebo, bunkhouse, and many other displays. The wood burning stove was being used in the bunkhouse, which was a nice touch when the weather was so cool. The staff was friendly and informative. This is a great place to spend a couple of hours that has indoor and outdoor displays. Great living museum. There are restrooms here as well.

A big shout out to the volunteers who made today happen in rainy weather. My grandkids and I look forward to future visits!
I am going to share one concern…when we went to the bridal suite for hot chocolate and cookies there w
is no one there. One family was seated enjoying themselves so we proceeded to grab a cookie and one cup of cocoa. When I went back up to pour my granddaughter a wee bit of cider a woman came up from behind me and informed me in no uncertain terms that “this was not self serve”. I apologized and let her know that because no one was serving and because there was no signage that indicated otherwise we had misunderstood. I once again apologized. Then she told me it was a liability concern and said “well what does she want anyway”
I work in retail and I get frustration but I would never use that tone or that attitude with anyone.
God bless her because she must be hurting but she obviously did not want to be there today!

Hate to put this for the field itself, but I’m having a hard to enjoying games at this establishment. I guess majority of this could be for the field but my family and I only attend JUCO games. First of all, the remodel was a horrible idea. The seating is miserable and the silver bleachers reflect heat which is killer. Also in regards to seating, people have been rude and horrible to my family since the remodel. My family and I have been attending Juco since forever ago. Before the remodel, we sat around section M ish and had two rows with a huge walk way around us. Now there isn’t a walk way. I bring this us because people try and walk, jump, crawl, what ever you want to call it through us and our stuff because there isn’t a general walk way anymore. We kindly tell people about it and they just get snotty with us. Many try to climb over us! The JUCO committee has told us that the area we are talking about is not a walk way and we need to tell people that. We do and then we get attitude or our heads bit off. I have social anxiety so any nasty attention or conflict sends me into a panic attack and ruins whatever is going on around me. JUCO games have been ruined for myself and my family because ticket holders and the committee are lazy. We need help in regards to not having people walk in front of us. I have left a few games early crying because of rudeness and tension. In all honesty why is all of the security at the gates? The security team hassles my mother about her purse when they can’t search and seize yet a man brought in a huge bottle of patron, adults are harassing each other (I honestly believe people come pick fights with us), and kids run ramped doing what ever they want. We’ve had kids mock on top of everything else. My brother’s girlfriend was assaulted by kids and a beach volley ball. They smacked her so hard in the face with the bal then laughed and ran away. We need security or something at the bottom of the stair wells at JUCO. I’d be interested to see how long my family can handle this because I am done. The only reason why I come is for my family and to make sure no one gets hurt because the people at this tournament don’t care. As long as they make their money they don’t care. I can’t even find a spot to put a complaint or send a not to the committee so I hope this gets through to someone.

We bought tickets online, shopping for 8 seats and were given 2 locations in the park where 8 seats were vacant. I would look into buying tickets onsite next time, as the stadium was nearly empty and we could have had better seats (comfort wise). Our seats were great for viewing the ballgame, just would have liked having seats with back supports... The players were all very good and played a good game. Well worth the evening entertainment!!

The best thing I can say about this venue is that it holds the heat really well. Unless you're in the season ticket section, which has plastic chairs and shade, you'll want to avoid this stadium. All that's left is hot metal benches and 120 degrees in the sun. You're much better off in the pool next door.

Awesome place to watch the rookie league Grand Junction Rockies. take sunglasses and a hat, is it is often very sunny and bright. the organist is hilarious, and there are plenty of beverages and food. Parking lot does fill up.
The Avalon Theatre, a grand entertainment venue constructed in the 1920s for presenting performing arts and independent films, has undergone significant enhancement. The orchestra seats are now comfortable for long shows and the bathrooms are well-maintained. Although there is room for improvement in acoustics, it's still an excellent place to see a live performance. Located conveniently downtown, it offers a perfect opportunity to spend an entire afternoon shopping, dining and experiencing a live show with stunning stage views from every angle.
Don't miss the chance to see a show at this amazing place. Love being able to enjoy a walk down town and watch a show after. It's new restoration looks amazing and the performances are amazing. Make a afternoon of shoping dinner and a live show. What more could you ask for.

Nice place. They need tables out front to stand while waiting for concert. Somethings are out dated and need replaced.

Seemed the venue has made significant improvements since the last time I was there. Seats, in the orchestra were comfy enough for a 2.5 hr show. Bathrooms were nice & clean. I did not check out concessions.
Acoustics could get better, would be my only gripe. But my hearing is not the same as it was 20 years ago. LOL

Went to see comedian Brian Regan. Nice venue and free parking right on Main Street Grand Junction.

I love this theatre! The subtle mix between the old theatre from the 1920s and the modern renovations make for a very cool vibe! Every performance I’ve ever been to here has been great, and I can’t wait to visit more in the future! Such an awesome place!

Wonderful show, acoustics were excellent. The carpeting going upstairs is unacceptable. Please replace it!

Parking can take a minute, but the upgrades at the Avalon are much appreciated. Thankful to have this space in Grand Junction. Some table top tables upstairs would be nice to enjoy a drink with friends before going to your seat (in the new blank space by concessions.)

Hi,
I wanted to express my frustration with the process of buying tickets for music events. I am new to this, so the first time I went on, I went to a third party site and started to order tickets and realized it was not the venue sale even though it had your name attached. I did not get those tickets and canceled before processing the order.
I then went to your site and ordered what I thought was tickets and was surprised at the difference in the increased amount for the tickets.
I ordered what I thought was two tickets on row 7 and no options to know exactly what seats we were getting out of three multiple seats open.
I later realized that when there is three ticket seats you must purchase them all or one of them. There is, I guess no option for two tickets as I found out much too late.
When I realized I bought one ticket and not two, I immediately returned to get another single seat only to be informed someone else snatched them up.
I went on to see if there was two seats again to be bought and for a higher price in same section, I ordered two seats. Not wanting to sit in two different places with my spouse.
I went on to try to refund, cancel or even sell the first ticket and could not. No options available for returning my money. selling the ticket does not give you full price for the ticket.
I went on help chat to get help and it was not helpful. I asked for a refund and it informed me that it would appear on online account, if we were eligible.
After reviewing the online account, I surmised it was not an option, since it did not open a refund possibility on the account event.
I now paid more than I wanted, got seats in row 15 instead of 7 and have a ticket I can't refund for full price, or sell for full price of what I paid, nor can I cancel it. Somehow this is not right for paying customers and frankly leaves me with a bitter taste for your venue. Whats going on that you can't just buy a ticket and have it for it's worth, and customer service be important.

New to Grand Junction and really excited about the concert series at the Avalon. It's a beautiful venue and the seating and layout is great! So glad to find a venue locally that houses good entertainment!

I thoroughly loved the 2 acts, 3 Dog Night and the young man from the Denver area. The only gripe I have is the Avalon should've told people that purses were not allowed, ahead of time.

Outside looks great. Inside needs redone. New seats, decor, carpet, paint ... some TLC. Just keeping it real! I love Gj.

This venue has greasy seating and reflects sound so well that is sounds like you have a speaker right above you.

This is a quaint little venue. Limited concessions and drinks, but clean bathrooms. There's not a bad view in the house. The seats could use an upgrade for comfort, but overall, it is great for a small town.

Always a delight to see entainers at the Avalon Theater. Just remember the size of ladies purse has changed to a clutch bag only. They will not let you in with anything bigger.

My son and daughter in law surprised me with tickets to Always Pasty Cline. It was a great show and I enjoyed it tremendously. I would see it again if it was still showing. Thank you to the Avalon for having great entertainment.

The Avalon Theater is a great venue but I have one complaint: at a recent show there was no advance notice of their bag policy. They were only allowing small clutch size bags and preferred a clear bag. But that is not stated anywhere on their web site. People were being turned away and had to take their bags back to their cars. This needs to be made known prior to arriving at the door.

The Avalon is my favourite venue in Grand Junction!!! It's comfortable, beautiful and historic. Acoustically it holds up to any type of performance and there's not a bad seat in the house! (I HIGHLY recommend checking out their website for security and bag/purse policies. It will save you frustration of an unnecessary trip back to your car.)
