The Kansas Speedway is a large motorsports facility accommodating up to 72,000 individuals for NASCAR races and other auto-related events. Despite unpredictable weather conditions, the venue remains consistent in delivering impressive races year after year. While certain special events had been cancelled on Sunday morning, the Ignition Garage still managed to entertain visitors with exciting racing activities despite running out of food and beverages. Overall, Kansas Speedway provides a memorable experience for fans of car racing and related events.
Every year, Race after Race
This place never disappoints... lol the Weather is another story, my gosh the Storm before Sundays Race was off the Charts Crazy!!! But, yet they still got the Race off and it was Spectacular‼️‼️‼️🏁All special events were Canceled Sunday morning, that was super disappointment, the Ingnition Garage ran out of food and beverages but we got to See some good Racing 😛
I will come to The Races and other events here forever
Thank you @Kansas Speedway well done 👏👏👏

What a great time. The parking is free and they have enough people directing you to make it easy. There are no bad seats and the fellow fans make it a lot of fun. The lines at concessions aren't too bad for such a large event. It's fun for the whole family.

Fantastic facility with some of the best staff I have ever run into at a racetrack not to mention the on track product! I've been as far east as Charlotte and as far south as Dallas but Kansas Speedway takes the cake for great racing at a ridiculously good deal. I am now a season ticket holder and will be for the foreseeable future!

It wasn't actually race time when we were here we were only able to see it through the fence from the casino. However Kansas speedway is an amazing fun place to take in a NASCAR race. We usually attend both the spring and fall race but went this time for a baseball game. We always have a great time when we go to the races. Definitely something to try!!!

Great NASCAR venue, awesome people. Awesome place! Awesome! Experiences happen here, only at Kansas Speedway inside the heartland. Will you find race cars, Barbecue, and adventure.

(Hollywood Casino 400)-Enjoyed the full experience of 40 cars starting their engine and competing...Kansas Speedway offers good seating that allows a full view. My only complaint, as a fan of the sport. I wish they offered events or attractions to enhance the enjoyment.

Very fun experience. Good family outing. It’s outside so hope for good weather! We went on a bright sunny day and just loved it. It is very loud so may need earphones or ear plugs to be more enjoyable.

Had an absolute blast at Kansas speedway. Venders were great and not too expensive. Got to go down on the field with the fan walk passes and see the cars and drivers up close. Awesome experience!

No matter what your seats are, you will have an excellent view of the track. However there is no shade at all in the grandstands and the Kansas sun will cook you even at 90 degree temperature.
Also, the handicap parking is still in the grass. Much closer than general parking but if you have difficulty walking it is difficult to walk from the ADA lots to the entrance. Very unlevel ground

American Royal BBQ was amazing once again! My teams has been competing here at the speedway for the last five years, and the accommodations are more than exceptional. I always have and continue to look forward to this weekend, and the people who operate the Kansas Speedway, and the American Royal events and facilities are the reason why!

Went to my first NASCAR event and it was INCREDIBLE! I truly enjoyed the location of the track and the free parking. The racetrack was cool and there was good food in concessions. I will be back.

Very awesome place to visit and experience. Summer can be hard to hang out in the heat I definitely recommend going later in the season if possible.
The extra experience they have will get you to the center of the track for meet and greets etc. When I went JESUS from walking dead was there.
The home of Sporting Kansas City, Children's Mercy Park is a fantastic stadium with great seating options and engaging fans. Even on cooler evenings, the stadium manages to maintain high attendance levels. Additionally, visitors can easily access the venue and enjoy a variety of food options without having to endure long lines. The town has an exceptional team spirit that adds to the charming atmosphere. Overall, Children's Mercy Park is an A+ stadium experience that surpasses any other stadiums visited in terms of quality and enjoyment.
Great stadium experience! Every seat is a good seat. Excellent fan engagement. We attended on a cool March evening and the stadium was surprisingly 80%+ full.
Easy in and out as well. Good amount of food options and I was impressed how quickly the lines moved; unlike many sports stadiums they seemed to have found a way to hire an efficient, motivated workforce.
Great team spirit in this town. We're not Sporting fans per se but next time we are in town my family will be sure to catch a game.
A+ stadium experience and dare I say the best stadium I've ever experienced.

😁👍 Absolutely a great stadium... 10x better than the new KC Current monstrosity they built... Easy parking ,easy to find out seats... I didn't care to much for the food choices but it was still a great game and day!!! If you haven't been to a Sporting game yet you have too... it was well worth it!!!

I had the pleasure of visiting Children's Mercy Park, in support of upcoming Runway Review Fashion event on September 24, 2022 🧵 - My friend Christian Michael invited me and the tour, facility, staff and accommodations were amazing. Spacious and Luxurious and home to Sporting KC Soccer ⚽️ Multi-level establishment, suitable for all event needs. Ecstatic to support -JMS

A great soccer stadium (football for British 😀) and kids friendly for all ages! I love to come here with family, friends, colleagues or customers from out of town. There are varieties of food and drinks to choose from. I really recommend Taco Truck and Blue Hell drink (with double shot if you like it strong)
Please make sure that you use clear bag/purse to enter the stadium. Regular bag/purse/backpack is not allowed for security purpose. It is better that you just have your phone and wallet to get in. If you need blanket, it is ok to take it in.

Just the absolute best most beautiful field. I know I'm biased as a lifelong SKC fan, but it truly is great. It's big enough for all of us fans but small enough that it feels like a giant family. We had a great view everywhere we've sat so truly nab a seat anywhere and enjoy a night of soccer.

So much fun, field level was awesome! All the food was good...and free...as we're the drinks. Staff was great, players were super nice. Got to meet a couple of them. Johnny Russell was extremely nice and chatted with us for a bit. Great times, even in cold rainy weather.

This was my first time here and came for the USWNT match against Nigeria. It's a nice soccer stadium. Getting in and out of the stadium was a breeze. The seating was as comfortable as expected. The views form the seats were fantastic. The bathrooms were a bit messy. The concessions leaned on the expensive side, and the service was very slow. I did like that all the stands offered the same "value" menu, so it made it a little easier to find a better line if that is what you had in mind to get.

Great experience here. Visited town for a day to see family and happened to be on a day of a Sporting KC game. We got here and had the perfect amount of time to find seats and get drinks before the game started.

Great experience and beautiful clean stadium! 🏟 The crowd and staff were remarkably friendly! Plenty of different foods throughout! 😋 Burgers 🍔, French fries 🍟, BBQ, beverages of all sorts, and kid's favorites, including ice cream! The "only" roadblocks we ran into were, at one corner of the stadium, you're blocked and have to go all the way around! In addition, the parking just outright "SUCKS!" It's a challenge , and good luck! 👍 It's still a fantastic stadium to watch a soccer ⚽️ game!

Great stadium, STL fans should be proud of the home atmosphere they’ve created here.
Stadium is nice. Seats are wide. Audio system is nice. Pyro show is nice. Location is atrocious…how can parking and traffic flow be so bad being in the middle of nowhere?? It’s also very weird to not have traffic control directing traffic and controlling lights and protecting pedestrians that are leaving the stadium.
Paid $34 for three bottles of water on a 95 degree day, that seemed quite excessive. They also make you take the caps off, which resulted in a ton of soda and water being spilt all over the stadium.
Billy Jansen — Google review
Game atmosphere was spectacular! Second half of the game I watched from the balcony on the north side and preferred that compared to my chair. Parking was ridiculous so be prepared to walk a mile as free parking is clear over at the speedway and the closer you park to the stadium the higher the price jumps up. Good family atmosphere!

Fabulous mall located near the Kansas Speedway and my hotel. Great selection of upscale stores, including Coach and Kate Spade. Very friendly employees and I loved that they had decorated for the holidays. Only negative was that they didn't open until 11 am on a Sunday which I thought was odd during the busy Christmas season. I received excellent service from Kate Spade and Nike too. Can't wait to visit in the future!

Nice, large shopping center with plenty of different stores, restaurants, and other things to do in the vicinity. All of the stores have outdoor storefronts which means you're going to spend a lot of time walking outside so dress and plan accordingly. There is plenty of parking and it is easy to find your way around. The stores were not crowded when I visited but I'm sure that varies depending on time, date, and weather. Overall, a good place to get your shopping done.

I had the best experience here. When I walked in Sharon was so nice , and right away made my shopping experience welcoming. I was shopping for work dresses /outfits and every outfit I tried on she brought me jewelry and accessories to try with it. I’m 44 and just lost some weight. I’m between a 13 and 16 size which made me think I can’t shop here. I was wrong!!! Sharon had the right sizes for me. And I was at the Legends Outlet for work so Sharon Told me I can special order my size from any Francesca’s . so this was so amazing for me!!!! Great experience.

Great outdoor shopping mall. Perfect on those slightly overcast (but not rainy) days. Lots of outlets and a decent AMC movie theater. Lots of food options in walking or close driving distance. Plus the Sporting KC soccer and KC Monarchs baseball play close by.

Very good outlet mall with a lot of choices and good food to eat, bar/restaurants, Dave n Busters. It's an outdoor mall and we walked a lot in the couple hours we were. There was quite a few people there and the place is vibrate with activity. It seems like a good place to take the family.

LEGENDS Outlet Mall is a safe shopping facility that will entertain and captivate shoppers and their families all day or longer. Don’t miss the IMAX theater.
Vincent Wright (WrightFlo Enterprises llc) — Google review
Great selection of shops and restaurants. Found great quality and sale prices in the "outlet" stores. Easiest access from the Southwest side by the sports complex. Loo up the map and plan ahead for your parking location.
There are not a lot of restrooms, need better cleaning, and better diaper stations. Need better drinking fountains. There's no obvious first aid station. If you have a heart attack there, they won't get to you quickly because of the limited access, so be careful if you have health issues.
Visible security, low incidence. There is not a lot of shade and candidly limited outside seating.
JAZZ'S Restaurant is a must! Music was awesome, and the food was delicious. Every bit as good as the original.
Do yourself a favor and stay st the attached hotel, take the shopping mall in shifts.

Legends Field is a superb stadium that is home to the Kansas City T-Bones, an independent professional baseball team. The venue is conveniently located near several other popular destinations such as the Kansas Speedway, Sporting Park, Nebraska Furniture Mart and Legends Shopping Outlets. Visitors can enjoy free parking and indulge in fantastic food options inside the ballpark. With its 360-degree stadium experience, there isn't a bad seat in the house making it an excellent spot for catching a game.
Had a great evening watching the KC Monarchs take on the Savannah bananas. It was an awesome time. Very entertaining. The food options were great. The ballpark staff was nice and helpful. It was very fun. Great family night idea.

Wow! This was a great place to visit to kick off the Christmas spirit. We went opening day during a snowstorm! It took us 4 hours to get home, but it was worth it. We had a great time and everyone was very kind. We did the VIP experience, and that was great. Our kids loved the fun drinks in the light bulbs. I would recommend doing the valet parking because it's a lot of walking around the park and then back to your vehicle.

We attended the Enchant Christmas event this year. While we probably would have had a better time and been able to enjoy things a bit more had we picked the previous evening (due to rain) we still had an enjoyable experience!
Everybody working the event was happy to be there and extremely friendly. We had paid to do the ice skating as well, however with the weather that was not in the cards.....we were going to inquire about a refund, but upon looking at our account online it had already been refunded!
The setup is very cool, and while spendy, I would consider doing this again.

Fantastic stadium that fits perfectly into a shopping destination. Legends Field is located just across from Kansas Speedway, Sporting Park, Nebraska Furniture Mart and Legends Shopping Outlets. First time out to see the Monarchs at Legends Field. What a great venue, beautiful ball park. We got to see a great game, and had a lot of fun. Definitely will be making more trips to the ball park this year. There's great seats throughout the ball park.

Went for the enchanted Christmas and enjoyed. Light show was great and it was spread out well. Only downfall was security made me toss my Yeti mug because no liquids were allowed. It was empty with no liquids and I opened it for proof, but it was either toss it or go back to the car which was miles away and go back to the end of the line. Guess they meant no liquids or solids.

We visited Enchanted at the legends field. It was beautiful and so magical. They had snow at the front entrance and Christmas music playing throughout the event. There was ice skating and the maze of lights was very entertaining. Food trucks with warm tent to relax in and warm up while you ate. Very enjoyable experience for anyone, young and old.

Enchant was an awesome experience! Stay away from the kids drinks in the lightbulb cups. The cups are cool, but the elf juice or whatever is gross. The adult drinks are all pretty good. Highly recommend the adult hot cocoa. Drinks are roughly bar prices. Lightbulb cups are $6 by themselves. Be prepared to spend a little money if you have kids. Lots to do and have fun with. Santa was great.

Went to the Enchant KC. Throughly enjoyed it. The set up and access to all areas was great. It allowed the large mass of people to be able to move freely around. Staff very helpful and friendly. Nice selection of food and booths. Prices weren't outrageous either. So impressive! I hope they have it again next year.

This was our first time seeing the Monarchs play here! The stadium is set up nicely, everything was clean! We especially liked the touches of the different kinds of seating - we tried out the patio furniture while we waited for the sun to go down and that was a highlight! We tried the brisket Mac & cheese and loaded fries - both delicious! Parking was free…always a plus! We had a really lovely time out there 😊
Wyandotte County Lake Park is a tranquil natural area with picnic shelters, hiking & horse trails, boating & fishing. The park is spread out on more than 1,500-acres of beautiful nature and offers 15 miles of rolling trails that surround the lake.

I came here on a random burst of adventure. I am so glad I did! Mid July, there are tons of lillies in bloom along the pond edge. It was beautiful. People were fishing in a nearby canal(?) and there were multiple nice playgrounds around for kids to enjoy. The only things to note were that the bathrooms were out of soap when I went to wash my hands. Minimal littering, which was expected considering its in the city, but obviously kept in check. Wildlife was nice.
The Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway is a popular destination for those looking to try their luck at slot machines and table games. The casino also boasts a variety of dining options, including the highly recommended Turn 2 restaurant where customers rave about the burgers and chicken sandwiches. The onion rings are a must-try item on the menu according to many visitors. Though some machines were closed due to covid restrictions, the casino has a modern and clean atmosphere that attracts many visitors.
Updating my review from a few years ago. Impressed with them. Now, it would have been even better if I had won. We ate at the Cafe they have inside and it was great. Great service and food! My husband had a burger and fries, I had a Turkey sandwich.

Sammie PYO — Google review
This place is fun but the bartenders are hit or miss.. some have serious trouble making a basic old fashioned. The table maximums are very low and normally the minimum bet at most tables is $15 or more and there are a ton of out of order machines. But they do have the nicest poker room in KC for sure.
Tom Green — Google review
Great view, gaming wasnt impressive, all the good machines were 'saved' with tipped chairs. That shouldn't be allowed.

If you are there taking in the entertainment at the casino this is a good restaurant. If you are in the area it's alot of walking to take in for a dinner. Good portions, good service very satisfied
Nathan Williams — Google review
This casino is NOT traveler friendly. Specially for RV travelers.
RVs can park 1\4 mile away on a entrance road by the truckers only. Walking to the casino is dark and somewhat scary since you have to walk by the road, then the parking lot.
The casino will tow your RV if parked anywhere else. Definetly they dont want RV travelers.
I've got a bad feeling about the all casino. So I left.
C Tech — Google review
It was OK. None of the restaurants were open and we had to order at the sports bar to get something to eat. The food was good and the beer was cold. Couldn't really do any gambling because they have gotten too greedy and raised the minimum bet till it's out of my range. The slots are so tight you can't win a decent jackpot. I did find a blackjack machine that I could afford to play though.
Stan Dennett — Google review
Forgot to take many photos, but the restroom was great and I took a moment to document that! Nice layout and aesthetic is fantastic. Games just take your money, but the sign up bonus points were great and the food was phenomenal! Would definitely recommend and we'll be back when in the area!
Cassie Carlson — Google review
Had a darn good burger and chicken sandwich at Turn 2 restaurant. But if you even remotely like onion rings, you've gotta get an order while you're there. Heck, we'll go back just for the onion rings. Huge order and crazy, crunchy, good.
The casino was clean, modern, bright, and busy. The beer line was a little long, and $4.50 per bottle, but whatever... There were several machines shut down because of covid, but they looked like old classics that were salvaged from a yard sale, so that was cool. Won a little on a $5 machine that paid for our evening there, so good times!
We shall return!
Scott Valentine — Google review
Rating is so low because more than half their machines did not work
The slot machines they do have are all older, as i didn’t really see anything newer but maybe a few Buffalo machines
High roller selection is not good
Bar prices were decent though
The other casinos are nicer by far but if you have nothing else to do and are close, you can gamble here, but expectations should be low

It is a casino. They will take your money. I know that and I go for entertainment with a set budget. They have ramped it up now though. This place just takes and takes and it does it quick. Both tables and slots are cleaning you out without any fun. It is just clean you out and make room for the next summer to sit down. I think I am good with Hollywood for a while.

Great location. Easy to get in an out. That is where the good stops. The have NO electric vehicle parking and NO electric vehicle charging at all. They are incredibly cheap with anything. They have ONE bar going 95% of the time so it is very difficult to get a drink. Beautiful venue that could be much nicer.

I really don't like playing here, lose money almost everytime I come. I never get the free promotions that my girlfriend gets even though when I get mail it says I will; but it's a very clean place. The staff is always helpful! Tons of slots to choose from.

Worst pay out in all the state , hard to hit any free spins or bonuses , staff just reach over you playing all the time.
Been there many times stopped going as pay is horrible and machines actually going to free spins or bonus is ridiculous the worst. Doesn’t matter what night you go.
However the sports restaurant upstairs and steak house is amazing other then that don’t waste your money…

10 out of 10 in my book... Hollywood Casino is my new favorite... very friendly and professional staff, all the staff I interacted with went above and beyond to make sure that my question was answered to my satisfaction... its feels good when your not made to seem like your bothering them or keeping them from doing their job... plus it was very clean and the service by the beverage staff and bartenders was top notch... My hats off to you, Hollywood, I will definitely be visiting again

Most of the time, I have a great time and good experience. I have noticed that the comps are smaller, and the food prices have gone up. It would be nice if more of the slot machines were in working order.
Today, April 17th, for several hours, the kiosk machines and the pay machines were offline. Oh, also, the slot machines wouldn't even take a voucher cash only.
For a while, the pay window only had one employee working until the line backed up about 20 people deep. But over all most days I have a great time and great service.

Spacious casino but the whole place smells like an ashtray. There is nothing separating smoking from non smoking. 2 of the 3 games i played had a malfunction. The Great Wolf Lodge Water Park in Kansas City offers informal suites with kitchenettes in a relaxed resort atmosphere. The water park is a fun destination for families with children, featuring arcade games and dining options. However, guests may need to spend more money than expected and bring a sound machine as noise from upstairs can be disruptive. Despite this, the facilities are clean and staff provide excellent customer service. The water park itself is the main attraction with thrilling rides and slides for all ages.
Fun had by all. Staff is so polite. Kids have such a great time when we go. Water Park is amazing. Food was better than I thought it would be. Very clean and well managed. Not a negative thing to say. Your wristband is your room key and you can also swipe it anywhere inside to pay for things by charging it to your room. I always love that I don't have to bring my wallet down to the water area and have to worry about it all day.

We brought our 3 year old for a 2 night stay. She is a water baby and loves swimming. However, she is usually not big on slides. The indoor water park is large with something for everyone and warm. They keep the air and water warm. My husband and I also did the single rider tube rides which were fun and fast! You have to be taller than 48" to ride alone and 42" to ride accompanied. We couldn't go on the 2+ rider ones as we have a little one.

We had a great mini-vacation/birthday party at Great Wolf Lodge. We got an outside cabana which was perfect with the nice weather. The kids enjoyed the water park inside and out, and there were things for all of us to do from age 8-75. The kids activities like the evening dance party, morning yoga, and afternoon party by the pool were great! We especially liked the wristbands that eliminated the need for room keys, carrying a credit card, and ordering food. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, as well. All in all, an excellent stay!

Our family stayed here this past weekend and it was not a great experience for the price we paid for 2 nights. Customer service was lacking in a lot of areas.
My mom and I went to eat at the Camp Critter Bar and Grill for breakfast and the service was a mess. None of the hosts were around to greet anyone, plus there were no signs saying "wait to be seated", so my mom and I assumed we could just go in and eat after we paid.
It wasn't until we were almost halfway done with our meal, that a hostess came around and made us feel horrible for eating without being seated first by a hostess. The lady kinda made a scene out of it and we explained to her that no one was around to tell us to wait to be seated, and the cashier never mentioned to us to wait to be seated either. Then the lady tried telling us there were signs up at the front with directions, to which we explained there wasn't. We could understand the frustration in a sense that we just seated ourselves without a worker seating us first; however, if the hostess and food service staff had done their jobs correctly, this scenario could have been easily avoided.
Additionally, our AC unit was not working in our room on our second night of stay and we had to turn the "constant fan" option on at night. It was so loud it was hard to sleep. It was either battle the noise, or sweat all night. For the price, this was not worth it at all.

Staff is helpful & happy. Families are happy. Our room was very spacious, fun for the kids, and very clean, good deal. Waterpark could use a good spring cleaning, but runs smoothly. Lifeguards are on point, but they don't boss you around, just there for safety. We ate at the mall just down the street since reviews for dining were negative.

This is a family-friendly wolf/woodland themed resort. It was fun for the kids and seeing the experience through their eyes. The grand lobby was nicely decorated for Christmas. My family enjoyed MagiQuest, the arcade and laser-tag. The water park was a lot of fun and probably the highlight of our time there. I did not expect luxury, but it is a bit run down and could use a refresh. Level three has a lot of foot traffic between MagiQuest and guest rooms, but the unevenness of the flooring was a bit jarring. Rooms are a little dingy and the beds in our room had metal pieces sticking out from the frames; which I banged my ankle into the first night and spent the remainder of the trip keeping the kids from hurting themselves on too. Dining is just okay, but there are options off-site for those willing to leave the property. Staff was generally friendly and helpful. I don't know whether we will return to this location because it's pretty expensive for what you get, but overall we had fun.

We loved our stay at GWL-KC! This was our first time at the KC location and we loved it! Lots for our family to do, and the location of the lodge is just excellent. You can easily go out to eat outside of the lodge to save money. Would definitely recommend! We did notice that the water was a lot colder at KC than it is at Grapevine location though. Just something to be aware of. It didn’t cause us any issues though.

Very fun for the kids, but be prepared to spend an arm and a leg and not sleep well. If we return I'll bring a sound machine with us. I honestly cannot describe the noise from upstairs, I think they were jumping on the bed and then onto the floor, and it lasted until about midnight. Yikes! But the facilities were very clean, staff was SUPER friendly and helpful, and we could've stayed for about three days & nights to really have experienced everything they have to offer. Kids loved the experience, food and drinks were tasty, and everyone was so kind.

The most attentive lifeguards I’ve ever seen! Thank goodness there was never a need but the lifeguards were always on their A game. We even saw them get tested randomly with dummies throughout our stay. And they all excelled. I always felt like my kiddo was safe. The overall lodge was great too. Our 2 year old had a blast. We loved the entertainment staff. Noah especially seemed to enjoy his job and keep the kids entertained. And a special thanks to Ollie for stopping and singing Mona songs to our son when he was dressed in his Maui costume. I can see us returning to such a family friendly place.

After reading some of the reviews, we were thinking of canceling our trip. We are SO glad that we didn’t. This place was an absolute blast!!
The room was very clean, quiet, and fit our family nicely.
We bought the “wolf” pass for our kids, which I’m glad we did, as it allowed them to try everything
The water park was awesome! The magi-quest started off boring, but it turned in to the highlight of the trip for the kids(it gets you a great leg work out also). The arcade was smaller, but still fun. The miniature golf course was fun also! The only negative from the activities was the laser tag. Very small area and only five minutes.
Lot of negative reviews around the food/price. I’d agree that it was a little pricey, but it was nice to not leave the hotel. We spent four days here and never left the grounds. The breakfast buffet was worth the money, and the pizza was really good(although it came in various sizes each time we ordered).
The app will help you a lot, so definitely download that. There is a nightly dance party for the kids and our two younger kids had so much fun there.
We would highly recommend this lodge to any family.

We got a suite and honestly I expected it to be kept up equal to the cost. There was wear visible on the doors and corner of walls. The windows looking out from the elevadors were dirty with LOTS of dust and cobwebs BUT the rest of the hotel was great! Not just the water park but the service, staff and the activities they had for kids would make for wonderful memories. We didn't have kids but did enjoy watching them as they fulfilled their quests as we went about the hotel. Breakfast buffet was good and I recommend getting the package as it's worth it. We had a great time at the water park and the changing rooms and restrooms were nice and clean.

Completely overpriced. First time going and we took our son and his friend and I was astonished at how outdated the rooms were. Paint missing from walls/doors, shower didn’t work properly nor didn’t drain, among other things. Had to request new bedding for one of the beds as it was covered in urine stains, that took over 40 minutes which ended up being past 10:30pm. The water park itself was okay, not enough tubes for the lazy river, esthetically things were just outdated and need some updating. Additional things such as locker rental should be included for those paying $600 a night. Kid activities shouldn’t be so expensive either when paying so much for a room and a pass to the water park. I could’ve honestly taken the kids to a ‘normal’ hotel with a pool with normal pricing and they would’ve had just as much fun and saved quite a bit of money in the end.
I understand it’s a kid resort, but what happened to taking pride in things. Incredibly disappointing and will never return on our dime.

We were invited to visit this lodge with friends, and I’m so glad we went. I was concerned that our almost 16 year old would be too old for this, but we as a family had a blast. The pools and slides were the biggest thing for my two boys, and it was nice. They had active lifeguards walking around which was surprising but happy to see. Yes, of course the drinks are pricey as well as the food, but I was expecting that being a resort per se. We went to the lodge restaurant the first night for dinner, and it was OK but not worth the money in my opinion. We spent over $150 on the four of us to eat there and it was lacking. They had a couple of meat options and a few veggies/sides options. The salad bar consisted of lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, and two dressings. They offered a couple of types of pizzas, and a pasta bar. I will say the pasta bar is probably the best thing in the buffet. Our room was very clean and well stocked with extra towels, which was very handy. The resort was clean throughout, and they had a few other amenities that are fun: mini golf and a small arcade.
Lesley Miller — Google review
Room was great, mostly! Entering the hotel we were greeted and handled very well. They made sure we were aware of all the events to attend and such, which is great because we had 4 young ones with us and they were free events! 10/10 front desk service.
They charge you $15 for renting towels regardless of how many used, make sure you return them. And bring flip flops, very slick.
The food leaves much to be desired-at least for their ‘Buckets’ restaurant. We only stayed the one night so didn’t get to try the others, but I’d avoid that one. Nachos were the worst part, incredibly stale chips however toppings/meat were pleasant.
Lastly we did attend a couple events, however we lost out on the big one that supposedly lasted until 7:15pm. We showed up at 7:05 and we’re told they stopped doing it, my kids were upset seeing all the other kids do this wand game. A scavenger hunt with Halloween where the kids have to find all these spots on all floors, neat concept. Shame we missed out.
All in all you can’t beat Great Wolf Lodge, I look forward to planning a stay again soon.

Room was hot with AC turned to 65. Charged purchases to my card before authorized to do so. This caused my card to not have enough to pay for charges upon leaving. Was told to call back when charges dropped to pay for balance. Within 6 hours of leaving, they hit my card again and continued to do so before I called to take care of balance. 5 times. They did not tell me upon charging these to my room that they would be doing this or I would have just paid right then and there. I don’t want other families to have to go through this. Upon calling them for 2 days in a row, they didn’t care that this had happened. So, beware that when you charge things to your room, that they will be putting a hold on your card and you cannot use it to pay your remaining balance.

This was such a lovely place to visit with a young child. We took my 3 year old here during the winter time. It was very icy and cold outside, but in the resort the temperature was cozy, especially around the inside water park. The water park area was warm enough for us to have a good time & was definitely my son’s favorite part of the resort. The slides are a ton of fun for the whole family. It was crowded, which I expected but it didn’t make it less enjoyable.
Aside from the water park, we loved the daily scheduled activities that were geared towards kids, including story time, craft time, bingo, & more. The breakfast buffet was delicious & super easy with a young child. I loved how safe the entire place felt, with kids running around enjoying their family vacations. I don’t think I’d recommend this for a couples getaway or adult vacation, because the rooms & amenities aren’t luxury by any means, and the activities were largely catered towards kids, but it’s the perfect spot for a family trip. My only complaint is that there is not a fitness center, which would have made our stay perfect, as my husband likes to work out every morning.

This place continues to decline. The green slide takes forever to get through the line because there are only 2 rafts. My son got hurt on the yellow slide because the raft was half inflated and when we hit the landing, the raft folded in half and my son went flying. This place is going to get sued real fast sending families down water slides on faulty rafts. Is Great Wolf Lodge that hard up where they can afford functioning/safe rafts?
My sister in law sat down on the side of the pool and ruined her swimsuit because there was liquefied caulk all around the pool that came off on her swimsuit. They did give her a voucher for a swimsuit, but, what the heck? There was a plastic barrier like you would get for a toddler playpen around that side but it appeared it was there to stop the basketballs from going out of the pool, there were no wet caulk signs or anything stating to not go in that area.
We went to the ice cream shop after dinner and AFTER the ice cream was handed to us, the kid behind the counter said that the price on the screen wasn't right and that the ice cream was actually a dollar more per scoop than advertised. In the entire history of customer service, anyone would have just adjusted the price to make it right with the customer but nope, not here. My wife even went to the front desk to let them know and they replied with "we'll let IT know that the price is wrong". Again, what the heck?!

The water park was fun and water was warm enough.
But if you are going for the magic stuff then best to go with the idea that you can only do it at certain times and that you will have issues with the technology of it. While we were there on spring break, a busy time for them. We were told the magic is only open at certain times to keep the kids out of the halls. But at the same time they have a yoga session happening in main entrance.... well stupid but sure why not. Then we asked then when it would turn on? Was told 9:00 am. Was not the case, talked to manager with no helpful advice other then to just wait till it happens to be turned on, (it was not turned on by 9:20) we explained that we were not happy with the fact of trying to keep kids busy while the rest of the 3 rooms we had pack up to leave and the offer to fix it was to return the wands if we didn't want them. We decided to try and just wait for them to turn on and when they did they had computer issues so the system would have you start a quest then get 1-2 parts and then tell you that you are not on a quest. We did end up finishing the quests in the end but overall didn't feel like it was user friendly or that the people running it cared about it at all.
I very much do not like to leave reviews like this however had I known this in the first place I would have gone to the great wolf lodge again in Wisconsin Dells that is much bigger, better ran, and more to do in the area. So sorry KC but won't be back.

We are first-time guests and we are already looking forward to coming back. Our kids (ages 5 & 7) had a wonderful time! The water park was clean and well-staffed. The app makes communication and planning easy. The order ahead dining options worked perfectly.
I couldn't give it 5 stars because the actual rooms showed lots of wear and the bathroom had evidence of water damage.

I’m not normally one to write bad reviews. I’m in the hospitality business so I cringe to even write this. We came here 4 years ago and excited to come back. Totally different experience this time. Room we DISGUSTING. Visible stains all over the carpet. We paid $1,200+ for a 2 night stay including the wolf pass. We did not do the food pass because last time the food was just ok. Decided to do breakfast this morning for 2 adults and 2 kids. The buffet was completely empty. My kids ate cereal and a banana for $20…. I had coffee and a biscuit, my husband had bacon & eggs. In total spending over $50 for just that meal. The candy shop and quick grab cafe were closed due to staff shortages.
One perk was a VERY VERY nice team member who was so so sweet every time we ran into her. She went above and beyond!! Made our experience a little less blah.
Water park was good but not worth traveling 4 hours to stay. We were talking with several groups during our stay since we’re pretty social and those who have been before agreed it has gone down hill.
Next time we’ll spend our money on something closer or all inclusive. We will encourage others to do so as well unless something changes. Save your money for something else.

Had a blast. Rooms were big and we had balcony overlooking pool. I loved the outdoor pool area. Nice place for kids and adults. Being able to use the water park day of arrival and using till close on check-out day is a great value. We will do this again.

Overall it was great for my family of five. Kiddos loved the inside water park and outside but definitely the inside one over the outside. There are cool activities to do during downtime time, magiquest is the most popular. 1ea. wand is about all I could afford and we still had fun with the experience. Good time, good laughs. Food prices though, had to go elsewhere.

This was our first time at any Great Wolf Lodge and boy was it fun. We were able to get a summer deal when we booked a few months in advance and got a great deal. We splurged for the Wolf Den room and our 8 year old loved it.
We did get the Wolf Passes which got us quite a bit of extra perks with our stay including a cup of candy, free ice cream, a build a bear, a wand, mini golf, laser tag, and a 5 dollar credit to the arcade and of course entry to the water park. There was not a shortage of things to do. We stayed for 4 days, went non stop, and still didn’t do everything.
The breakfast there was the best thing about the food. Otherwise, it’s mediocre and over priced. We ordered delivery pizza and the went out to eat the nights we were there. Buckets, the place in the water park, wasn’t bad and we did eat lunch there. We just shared a meal sinxe we were on the go. I definitely recommend getting the refillable cups if you are staying longer than a day as the free refills are with the initial price of the cup.
Some of the staff were great and others were pretty grumpy, but overall we had a blast. They are located right across from the Kansas City Speedway and it was is quiet. We will defiently go back and to other locations.

The hotel is great, the water park is great, the staff was great.
I would've gave 5 stars if it wasn't for this thing they call a buffet.. this was the most horrible dining experience I have ever had. You can not call that a buffet. We paid 50 dollars and all they had was old Mac and cheese, old hard chicken, burnt broccoli and 3 tiny little pieces of pizza that looked about 4 hours old. Please just close this place down or just serve regular meals. This is not by any means a buffet, or any place i would ever eat.The one we have here in washington is a night and day difference as far as the "buffet".
Whatever you do, don't even think about going to the buffet here.
Other than the "buffet" it was great!

We had a coupon for our stay. I'm so glad we did. We stayed one night and my boys had a blast. It's a nice place but definitely could use some updates. We didn't spend much time in the room but we enjoyed the balcony. They have so many free activities in the lobby for the kids. We ran into an issue with our sink and they were able to give us some vouchers for the inconvenience. The customer service is great.. We will definitely be back.

We booked a 2 night stay. We decide on a no balcony room due to having little kids, BIG mistake as it was SUPER loud being right next to the magic quest.
Quiet hours aren't till 11pm.
The restaurant is a buffet with no menu available. We tried it for dinner and breakfast. It's very expensive and lack luster for the quality. We had dinner at 6:45pm and the dinning room was empty, this should have been a red flag. Food was all fried or previously cooked and then reheated. Most nursing homes offer better food. Our family unfortunately got food poising as a result. If you have a vehicle please go out for food. There are plenty of good options a short drive away that are much better.
Staff was hit or miss. Some hit it out of the park and others were visibly miserable.
The rooms are on par with a Motel 6 or an early 1990's Holiday Inn. Hotel had no laundry!!! No laundry is horrible!!!
The Water Park is 10 out of 10. We had an amazing time and the cabana offered great privacy. A cabana is worth the expense for kids.
If you are looking for a water park it's a great place. If you are looking for anything other that this is not the place for you.

We took our 2 year old and she loved it. We spent a lot of time in the arcade and about 2 hours at the pool because it was just a lot to keep up with her running around. I would say that the pool area would be better suited for children 3 and up as the play area has some tall steps and the small child area is limited to 2 small slides and a shallow pool/splash area which she got bored of pretty quickly. I also wish that the pool opened earlier than 10am as we are early risers and had to wait 3 hours for it to open. I think even 9am would be reasonable. In addition, they give you access to the pool on check in and check out days but that is useless if you want to go back to your room and change as you wont have time to do so seeing as it opens at 10 and check out is 11 unless you want to deal with using the locker rooms. I don't give 4 stars lightly and the sole reason I am giving this 4 stars is because the food is pretty terrible. I will disclose that we did not try the breakfast as it seems this is generally well rated so I cannot speak for that but we tried pizza and the lunch area in the pool and both were pretty disappointing. Luckily there are plenty of options in the area for food so we just got meals to go, but it was kind of inconvenient to have to leave. The ice cream/coffee shop is the best deal in the whole place. We got ice cream every evening and for some reason the prices were very reasonable compared to the other dining options. They had an agent stay in contact via text to ensure your needs were met which was nice. We are partial to whether or not we will return. It is about 4 hours away from us so kind of a hassle for what it is.

This is a great place to stay when you can grab a deal on one of their rooms. We enjoy the water park, and I felt life their life guards were attentive and focused. Everything seemed to be pretty clean. The lock on our bathroom door in our room was broken, and the wifi was spotty towards the far end of the hotel (fourth floor about at the end of the hall), but those were the only minor inconveniences we encountered. We look forward to returning in the future!

I took my son here for a short vacation this past week. The majority of it was lovely. I loved the little activities that they had for kids. In that aspect, I can’t complain. What I will say is that the pool area was disheartening and disappointing. As my son is special needs and was very excited about the slides on the center portion, the employee maintaining the slide on the left, as you go up, was very rude. Children kept cutting in front of him and nothing was being done about that. But the minute she decided not to perform her job duties well and didn’t make sure that my son was going down once a child got off, he was kicked off of the slides for the duration of our stay. He was the only one scolded for his actions. I marched up there with him and asked what happened. While I tried to understand, she did not care that he was disabled and told me that he could not get back on.
With that being said, he then attempted to go down the smaller slides. An employee came up to me and kicked him off of those as well, due to his height, and he was left to literally sit in the pools. There were grown adults going down the sides who were not told they couldn’t go down the slides. There were no weight limit signs posted.
He could not go down the biggest slides unless he had another person and I also had my smaller niece to watch. We did not attempt to go back in the pool area.
The concession stand in the pool area was disappointing as well. It is extremely overpriced and they make you scan your cup, give you approximately 15 seconds to fill your cup, then they do not offer refills.
I will save my money by going somewhere else next time. This was not memorable for my special needs child at all.

We went here for sprint break (8 & 10 year olds) and the boys had a blast. My oldest enjoyed the water park while my youngest enjoyed the magi quest. We did splurge to get access to everything so we tried everything.
The best was an hour before closing when we got to ride all the slides without much wait. I'll admit walking all those stairs was tiring, but everyone slept well.

What can I say about the great wolf lodge that isn't said on here? It's super kid friendly! Teenagers might find this place annoying, but you can still see them occasionally having fun too on rides and swimming. They have a restaurant here that decent but there are chain franchises right up the road for that particular hunger bug. The hotel is always a little bit noisy but you should expect that from a kid oriented establishment.

Compared to other indoor waterpark hotels at the same price point, this is a low value experience. All amenities are micro scale compared to other resorts at this price! Our pull out couch was noisy, and very uncomfortable. The in-wall heater unit was very loud and kept me up all night, and dried up my airways. Baseboards in the bathroom were peeling away. Fridge had no freezer. Construction is paper thin - heard people running and jumping on floors above us 24/7. Have to pay for parking even though the resort is in the middle of nowhere. Pool bar was out of stock of most things. Pool expansion joint was leaking mastic substance into the pool and got on my swimsuit and ruined it. Poolside food very expensive ($16 kids burger)! Pool bathroom was dirty, found hair everywhere. Laser tag area is tiny & $8/person for 10 minutes. Breakfast is basic for $12/person. Arcade machines don’t work well & steal money. We won’t be back.

Awesome place to take the family. The water park is fun, nothing over the top and needs a little maintenance, but overall great and fun for the whole family. Rooms are nice with siding glass doors and private patios at least on the first floor which is rare, the staff were awesome and one of the best parts. The staff truly were friendly and really were great and made you feel truly welcome! My biggest not really complaint, but more of a comparison was the quality of the food for the price. It was not bad by any means, but for about the same price as Disney in Orlando the quality at Disney was much better tasting and larger portions for the price. Overall, the location was great and close to shopping, a WM Super Center if you need to grab stuff on the cheap, nice race track, and surrounded by lots of restaurants and things to do. We will go back and take the kids again. Laser tag was a blast because it was just me and my 19 year old son playing. There is a great arcade in the hotel, cafes, candy and ice cream store and a cool gift shop. You get free wolf ears also if you howl or kindly ask for some at the gift shop. We went close to Christmas and they had the place decorated so nice and had so many activities and interactive games for the kids. The story time at night, meeting Santa, Lodge mascots, etc. was really fun.
Lewis and Clark Park is located in downtown Kansas City and offers skyline views as well as opportunities for water activities, theater events, and more. It's a great place to explore historic Lewis & Clark Trail attractions and relax outdoors.
A beautiful place & respite from the busy city. You can rest on stones honoring people in a mini forest just a stone throw from the river. These are photos of some wild flowers in an on going preservation.

This park has nice views of the skyline along the intersection of the rivers. Also has nice historical signs and is a pretty peaceful area. However, this park is in dire need of benches and tables along the river. Literally like 4 or 5 benches along the river would significantly improve the park. This place is also in need of better ground upkeep overall.

Living so close by I don't know why I've never taking advantage of coming here more often. Came here today when its winter and we've just had some snow come through. Not too many people and great views to just walk around and take your mind off things. You can also cross over the river using the riverfront trail from here.

Small but interesting park. The boat ramp is steep into the river. It's wide and looks sufficient for getting the boat into the river. The current is pretty rough due to the confluence of the Missouri and Kansas rivers coming together. There's places to fish along the bank but it's pretty steep to get down. It's a great view of down town. The park is open from 7 am to 10 pm. There's lots of parking.

A beautiful and free park near downtown Kansas City with fishing, hiking, gardens, education, history, restrooms, picnic areas and all of the above!
This is by far the best part I’ve seen in this entire area. More than enough places to park (for free). And even if this place is crowded, it’s pretty easy to find a place all to yourself.
The park is also a beautiful site at night 🌚

Beautiful park with lots of prairie native plants. You can tell that the caretakers and park patrons have spent a lot of time and effort caring for this park. Boat ramp is easy to access. The park is clean and tells a lot of history about Lewis and Clark. Great views of downtown Kansas City.

I am giving it 5 stars for what it can be. We can all do our part to clean up the river. As far as access and an exceptional starting point for the MR 340 it's perfect. Plenty of room for a few hundred boats to stage and vendors to support the volume of on lookers and participants. Lots of parking as well.

Excellent park with walking trails, an educational exhibit on the history of the Lewis and Clark Expedition, boat ramp (and ample parking), and an art installation of the intrepid duo.
To get to the riverbank at the confluence of two great rivers, take a narrow trail through the wildflowers down to the rocky beach. Waters are deep with swift currents, but I was able to dip my toes into the two rivers at the same moment.

Small park with a good view of the city. The site was used as an encampment for Lewis and Clark, and is where they first describe seeing a wild Bison on their journey west. Minimal trails, and not much to do otherwise. Closed EXACTLY at 10, with a sheriff closing the gate immediately.

Great place to visit for the historical significance but it is a run down city park. No dependable services here. Be aware of your surroundings as this place is often deserted (but usually not dangerous) and not the best of neighborhoods. Use the service road that runs in front of the Armored Car Company to get to this park. River is deep and and dangerous currents. use caution and leash pets and small children. We visited May 2023.

Not being from Kansas and having lived in other states like Michigan and Maryland, this place was a little disappointing when it comes to the size and quality of the apple picking. We were dropped off at the orchard and all the trees were picked pretty clean and we were only offered 1 type of apple. They were tiny, sour and with a tough skin. Not at all what we were used to in the Midwest and east coast. Now, the other food options were great. The kids loved the cider donuts and slush drinks and there was a nice covered Pavillion with BBQ food options. 2.5 hours max and you're ready to leave. I won't be back but we still had fun.

Yeah for family experiences. Yes, this is a must visit location. Friendly staff greets you. We picked apples and pears. These are not your store fruit, but it tasted a little more sweet than what you get at the store. Pumpkins will be soon. They have food now for lunch. It will be crowded on the weekends, so a weekday visit might be best if you don’t like crowds. Easy to walk to orchards and they sometimes have wagons. They also have treats as well. Basically, you don’t leave hungry. They have overflow parking as well.

We love Cider Hill. We went twice this year, once for apples and again for pumpkins. It was family friendly but would also be a great date spot. :) We love to get coffee and cider donuts (which are the best cider donuts we have ever had) and then go picking. The staff is so friendly and the prices aren’t bad at all. Our friends and family agree when you go to Cider Hill it is like stepping onto the set of a Hallmark movie. Obviously we highly recommend it to anyone and are excited to visit for years to come.

Loved this place!! My 2 and 4 year old already asking if we can go again. Very well organized and the apples were delicious! Their FB website shows which apples are being picked each week. We picked Johnathan Apples but also bought the Summerset. So much better than store bought apples!! Don't miss out on the Apple Donuts!!

Beautiful, family owned farm with lots of acreage and family fun stuff to do. Pumpkin patch, apple and pear trees for picking, gift shop, barbecue, and homemade donuts (delicious donuts). They also have apple cider slushes. Hayrides, and picnic area.

Love Cider Hill! Beautiful place, amazing staff, the family loves coming here every fall to pick out their pumpkins, shop in the little store and have doughnuts and cider. Bonus that it's in our hometown!

This was an amazing experience where the owners and the folks did an excellent job of social distancing in addition to a great overall experience. The pumpkin patch area is well tended to and seems like a great pumpkin picking experience from what I saw while picking apples from the orchard. I advise going as early as possible so you can get an orange apple picking tool which aids you in getting those hard to reach delicious varieties of apples. We also enjoyed the family friendliness where kids of all ages are welcome because the roads are level and well maintained along with the whole entire farm property. This is a must go for your family's fall time experience and A+! Keep up the great work Cedar Hill family!

I went with my two year old son and our playgroup and had a great time! The grounds are lovely and the staff was pleasant and helpful! My son loved watching the ducks and geese, riding the wagon out to the orchard, and of course picking apples! We also picked a few pears. Our group is mostly young kids pre-kindergarten and they had n9 trouble picking fruit here. They have trees with low branches that make it easy for young children.
We were here on a weekday (which was great as it wasn't crowded) but it looks like there are more activities that occur on the weekend (BBQ Stand, More Concessions, a Pumpkin Patch in the fall, etc) so we might make another trip as a family on a fall weekend.
Definitely worth the trip out!
The Strawberry Hill Museum & Cultural Center is a historically significant Victorian home that has been converted into a museum that showcases the heritage and culture of the area's Slavic residents. The museum is well-known around Christmas time for its festive displays.
The tour explained the entire history of that area. There is a lot of displays highlighting the ethnic heritage of the community. I understand the museum is fantastic around Christmas time.

Truly a great place to visit. Loved learning about KC history and our multi-heritage culture. The tour was awesome and I wish I could have taken some photos to tease you into visiting But no photos are allowed. They did allow us to take a group photo in the chapel and with the Christmas decorations it made one of my favorite pictures of the holidays.

Go for the decorations, stay for the history. The Strawberry Hill Museum and Cultural Center offers tours through the former St. John’s Orphanage. Tour guides are local volunteers whose northwestern European families settled the area. Photography is not allowed in the museum, but trust me, every room is incredible.

We had family who lived on strawberry hill forever. I was really looking forward to seeing it for my birthday (yesterday- the 16th). The tour guide (a female) was rude. She allowed no time to see the rooms. Was more interested in showing us what her family had donated. We have family on some of those pictures. Some rooms we were only allowed to glance into. Would love to view it when we are allowed to SEE it.

7th Street Casino is a former Masonic Temple turned into an entertainment spot in Kansas City. It provides numerous slot machines for gambling enthusiasts, along with two bars and a casual restaurant. The casino has gained popularity among locals and tourists alike and secured the sixth position in the list of Kansas City casinos. 7th Street Casino boasts of its unique location, which was once a Masonic Temple.
7th Street casino is my favorite casino to go to. Because I win more there. Prove it with the 95% payout. I didn't like drive good they mask, but that should be my responsibility anyway

It's fun. A good place to blow off some time at. I didn't win anything when I visited but I never expect to at these places. If I do win something, great, that is just a bonus to having a good time with friends. For me, that is why I go, my friends like it, and it is something we all can do for a couple hours without breaking the bank. If you exhibit a little self control you can play a couple hours on $30-$40. You never know when you might get lucky and go home with more than you came with. Just be smart and you'll have fun instead of feeling like it was a bad idea. The staff here was really friendly, and helpful.

A lot of fun! The Cafe serves a BLT for $7 and it has $7 worth of bacon on it. My wife and I won on slot machines right beside each other. It wasn't big wins, but it contributed to the good time that we had and gave us money to save back so we didn't go home empty handed. The staff was very nice. We had an issue with my wife's ID and our son-in-law worked with the Security Supervisor and got the situation resolved so that we could enter the casino and have a fun evening. We will be back!

So it is far to say that 7th street casino is like gambling in my brother's basement.
Went in with my usual 100 bucks and played like a cheap skate and still only won 12.00 over 1 hr of play . Come on 7th street you want players here you have to give a little back ....this casino is NOT worth it . Oh and half the equipment aka Machines you use to check out are all broken how convenient. Plus they decide to lock lower level so you can't play the whole casino. What a wanna be casino .

Generous number of slot machines with fair payouts for the most part. Friendly gamblers and pleasant employees. Can't wait to try some of the food there next time because I hear it's scrumptious. I'll definitely be back soon!!

It was my first visit here, and i waa welcomed with a $20 free play. I was here for less than 30 minutes and hit a $1,500 Bonus!
The staff was kind, but it does take a while to receive a hand pay here.

This casino is the tightest casino in the four state area. In the last year I have walked out twice a winner and I go every week. They have less than 1% payback. This casino doesn't even deserve one star for payouts. People don't waste your hard earned money here.

Honestly one of my favorites. It's louder and definitely a ton of fun there because of the atmosphere.
Such a beautiful building, dedicated staff and always nice too.
I'm so very appreciative for the shuttle service too. It's so nice to not worry about parking at night.

All slot machines, 3 floors! The first floor is all nonsmoking. There is a deli- type restaurant that has daily specials. The bar is on the third floor. Clientele is not what one would categorize as having class. There is daily incentives you can take advantage of.

Nice casino with pretty good return on slots. Getting our players' cards took a bit of time, though. 1st floor is non-smoking, and 2nd/3rd floor are smoking. Finding close parking is not easy, and I'm not sure if the area is all that safe at night (several homeless hanging around outside of establishment).

Our visit to this casino was on Labor Day. We went in the morning because I always like to get a good feel for the atmosphere. Parking for this little casino is tough. Numerous signs are posted warning customers not to park in certain areas. Thankfully, we were able to get a parking meter. The security and the amount of cameras creates a safe feeling environment. The restaurant area was open and I really appreciate the fact that they had customer dividers on majority of their machines. On the other hand, my review pretty much matches majority of the reviews posted. The customer service is friendly, the casino is clean, and there is a whole floor solely for smoke free customers (a major plus). The problem is this casino does not pay anything. I went to seven different machines and the results were the same- nothing 🤔. My partner (who I had on a different floor of the casino) went to six different machines and nothing for him. My partner signed up for the $20 free play card. I have a feeling that this is a way for them to track you. In an effort to prevent you from winning at their slots. One of my followers asked me to review this casino to see if I would have the same experience they had. I can confirm that I encountered numerous people (inside the building and outside) and no one was winning anything. Very interesting.....

When I first started going here, I could never win. But I've tried it out again and I have started to win and have a good time. I wish there was a way for me to look up my rewards online. The staff if pretty nice and friendly here. A couple of weeks ago I lost my cash app card and to make a long story short I called 7th Street casino to see if someone had found it and they & found it. Glad they found it.
Great place! I used to sing in the choir there as a kid. Is John Schaefer still around? In fact the first homeless person I ever met lived on the steps of their Church. I forget his name, but his entire family died in a house fire. It taught me a lot about compassion and understanding and why some people are homeless.a

The Rosedale Memorial Arch is an arched monument for WWI veterans in a park in downtown Kanas City. The monument resembles the Arc de Triomphe and is illuminated at night. The monument was reclaimed with mostly volunteer labor in the 1970's.

Great monument and fascinating story. Honor those who sacrificed everything for freedom. And gaze out on the gorgeous KC skyline. Further, you can go for a walk in the woods. Unfortunately, some people leave litter and graffiti but don’t let it put you off.
Jeffery Wells — Google review
There’s no signage to direct one to it past a faded sign on the road below a key turn, the steps are loose, the city hasn’t trimmed the trees so the view is mostly gone.
it needs basic maintenance.
The arch is nice but not really worth a visit
Kevin Carlyle — Google review
It used be better maintained. It's still a great spot.
Tamera Cunningham — Google review
Great Memorial, Peaceful, well lit, park area, you can have a picnic, seating, lots of beautiful trees. Has some over growth and has changed over the years. Cutting some of the trees back would help with the view and paths but not too much. Or maybe it's ok just how it is? Neighbors should decide.
Cynthia Gray Stillwell — Google review
The views from this almost forgotten site are spectacular, and they could be even better if whatever government agency is responsible for maintenance did some repairs to the crumbling terraces, the grounds surrounding the Memorial Arch, and the road leading up to it. In other cities, the Memorial Arch is a place of civic pride; unfortunately, this one seems to be have be abandoned, and that is a genuine shame.

Lakeside Speedway is a popular destination for dirt-track car racing enthusiasts, offering themed events and regular concerts. The track is well-maintained and spacious, with both GA seating and VIP options available. Concessions offer a variety of basic comfort foods and drinks, although lines can get long during peak times. Lakeside has hosted the World of Outlaws in the past and is considered one of the most beautiful facilities for auto racing.
We missed this place! Loved the racing. Loved the atmosphere. Enjoyed meeting the owners!

Track is great! Action was awesome! Took my 5 yr old for his first ever racing experience and he loved it! The only downside was people smoking in the stands. I'm a former smoker so I get it, but I think a smoking section or designated non smoking section could help this situation. We had to move 3 times just to stay clear.

Truly one of most beautiful Catholic churches, (Cathedrals), in the world!
Susan Kearns — Google review
The funeral for my 16 year old brother was yesterday 11-14-2023. Father Anthony was the one who held a prayer for him at the grave site. He was late for the service at the funeral home which was at 10 am and was rude to my mother, who was sobbing and distraught as her youngest son was being buried. He refused to bless my brothers casket and when we asked him to please sprinkle just a little holy water on it he firmly said No and walked right past us. We didnt even ask for any additional prayers or anything seeing that he was already in a mood. I have literally seen him bless and sprinkle holy water on dolls after mass. We even had our own holy water incase he had forgotten to bring some but he apparently couldn't do that for my grieving mother, a devout catholic of over 40 years. In the entire time my family has been a part of the church we have never felt so much disrespect and apathy from someone who is meant to show kindness and help those in need. I didnt want to write a bad review but I had to after experiencing such behavior by Father Anthony on one of the worst days of our lives.

The Kansas City Workhouse was an old, abandoned building in the heart of the city that used to be home to a bunch of inmates. It's now a pretty neat place to visit, with some really cool street art all over it.

Unique in its design but the area has been let go, lots of graffiti - which I love if it’s artistic but in this case, not so much. It’s now fenced off so you can’t get a decent view.

I'm in love with this place. I could seriously write a book about it. A note to those who would like to visit. It's not in the best of areas, and the property has been fenced off, though that doesn't stop everyone. There is a lot of debris and growth, and the structure itself is in continuously deteriorating condition. Covered with considerable amounts of graffiti it is important to understand that this place attracts adventurous spirits for better or... worse. If you visit take necessary precautions to keep yourself safe. The vibe inside is something that can't be put into words, as cheesy as that sounds. I'd just say that at 126 years old (2023) you can feel all the history there. Something about a grand structure left abandoned just hits different. 10/10, One of my favorite places in the entire world.
