Surflight Theatre is a community venue located in Beach Haven, NJ that showcases a variety of classic plays, concerts, musicals and children's theatrical shows. The theater recently hosted a successful comedy night featuring both an impressive warm-up comedian and an engaging headliner who had previously opened for Dr. Oz. This event provided much-needed laughter during the pandemic and was enjoyed by all attendees. Surflight Theatre is truly a gem on the New Jersey shore where visitors can experience exceptional performing arts entertainment.
Attended the comedy night and it was a magnificent catharsis to laugh in the midst of the pandemic. The warm-up comedian, a woman, was really fine and she was on for about 40 minutes and then the headliner, who had been the warm-up act for dr. Oz, was delightful , and his delivery was really smooth, and he used facial expression well, with a lot of stories. The comedy nights are a lot of fun. If you're in town don't miss em.😁

A gift from family for Mother's Day permitted my wife and I a day on LBI and the Surflight Theater. We saw the play, Steel Pier. It was well acted, the dancers were superb and full of surprises if you missed the nuances. Especially the opening scene.

Truly an amazing experience! I went during one of the “children’s” performances this summer. It was a 45 minute entertaining show for my 6&8 year old girls AND myself. They even met the girls outside for photos and autographs. A must for locals and visitors. We are already booked to go back later this summer!

I just saw their version of A Christmas Carol called "Ebeneezer" I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It was quite good on all levels. Acting, choreography, sets, etc.. all enjoyable. It has been a long time since I've been here, and I'm glad we went. It was a good time.

I am an ex employee of the theater. I worked there this past season until Oct 28th which was a good season. The Artistic Director and Assistant Artistic Director Steve Steiner and his wife Gail Andersonet me go on October 28th without notice of why. Due to my developmental disability that I have they treated me poorly and destroyed my beliefs in the theater and the people who still work there will be disappointed. Be advised that the Surflight Theater may not survive another season. I am very upset with the Surflight Theater. That is all.

I went here with a group of family members and kids to see Cinderella. The play was adorable, fun, and a bit interactive. Surprisingly it kept my 2 year old boy engaged. Only 1 hour long was the perfect timing. The actors were great. Would highly recommend.
Side note, If you go, go early so you can find a parking spot. We got there just on time and spent 10 minutes circling blocks trying to find a spot.

Went to their Cinderella performance, and it was very entertaining! Ordered my tickets through their website and was let in quickly. I love the family friendly jokes, and I love that they allowed the children to go on stage.

Lovely regional theater centrally located in Beach Haven. We went for the first time in December to see A Christmas Story - great production. We are avid theater goers in nyc, and we love to see great regional theater thriving. We will be back in BH in July and will definitely get tix for a summer performance.

If you like the theater this is the place to visit! The cast members are always well prepared and professional! The singing, the dancing, the choreography and the stage presentation are all top notch! Stop in for an ice cream at the Showplace and be entertained all over again. Regional theater doesn't get any better than this. No need to travel to Broadway...

Went with our local homeschool co-op to see Mary Poppins Jr. The show was wonderful! We all had a great time from age 6 - grown-ups! The star of the show was the curly haired actor who played the Banks servant. He stole the show in every scene he was in! Great job!

Surflight is an intimate theater that has been a mainstay attraction in LBI for over 70 years. The performances are amazing for a local theater. Their line up usually has something for everyone's taste as well as children's production and special events like tribute performances for well known singers. Always worth a visit if you are in the area and reasonable prices as well. Many restaurants nearby making it a perfect night out!
Those of us fortunate enough to live in this Jersey shore area have been patrons for many years. Hopefully, in the future, you will enjoy it ,too!

It is truly amazing and inspiring that after all this theater has been through in the past years, hurricane, Covid, lack of funding, has emerged even better for the challenges! The quality of the presentations, actor/singers and shows, it presents, it really is amazing. Credit also has to go to the management, staff and volunteers who have put all their efforts into bringing live theater to a rural/summer time community all year long, as well as all the work that has been put into a historical building and theater! If you haven't already visited the Surflight theater, you'll be pleasantly surprised by your first visit and all future visits! Please check them out and enjoy the show! By the way, the new seats are a great addition!

Surflight Theatre offers wonderful productions at very reasonable prices. We watched the Wizard of Oz and enjoyed every second of it. It was good ol' family fun. They got the audience involved, specifically the kids in the audience. It was a great experience and I would recommend it for anyone visiting the island.
The New Jersey Maritime Museum is a remarkable exhibit centered around the nautical theme. The museum houses an impressive collection of shipwreck discoveries, photographs, navigation equipment, and other rare artifacts that showcase the rich maritime history of Long Beach Island. It is well-maintained and staffed by knowledgeable curators who are friendly and eager to assist visitors.
Took our youngest grandson to spend a few minutes walking thru, after 40 minutes I had to suggest it's time to go. He had a great time.

Being a avid diver it’s wonderful to see all the donated artifacts and rare pieces it’s like traveling through time..I highly recommend visiting just a very warm pleasant feel …

By far the best museum in the area. Free admission (they ask for donations at the door with a tip jar), and they even offer copies of the informative DVDs they play around the museum for free. Great place to bring kids, 2 stories of exhibits and plenty of things to see and read. The caretakers are also very nice and encourage guests to check things out.

You could spend a whole day there and not see every moralist thing they have for example their exhibits, store and all their free DVDs about the East Coast. Love it love it love it. The owners are educated and extremely helpful. I believe one of the owners was the former mayor of Beach Haven no. You will not be sorry go to take a trip there to sit and the surrounding ocean community.

So we stumbled upon this by accident and are glad we did. My nephew and his then fiance (who I might add was 9 months pregnant and due any day) were supposed to get married on the beach, but it was way too cold out so they asked if it was okay to do it here.
Glad it worked out like that cause this place is amazing. So many local and non local artifacts and there is no way you see it all in one visit. Each time I promise you will find something you didn't see on the last visit. The time, dedication, knowledge, and passion of these people that give the tours are unbelievable. You can tell they do this for the love and the history of it, and to keep the stories and the past from not fading away is truly amazing. YOU NEED TO SEE THIS AND MAKE IT A STOP PROMISE YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. Sorry no other pictures of the museum only a video of the ceremony but do not want to post that. I'll try to add some soon.

What a fantastic museum!!! It is free -but you're you to want to give a donation, it is that good. You can touch almost everything, they have snacks for kids, it you have any questions they are readily answered by the owner. This all started out as a private collection, and it is all curated with love and great care. My 2.5 year old loved it - though this is not a "kids museum" there was plenty to entertain a toddler for an hour on a rainy day. They are open basically all the time which is great. You can also inquire for private events and meet ups. And they have a lot of rate books for research, if that is something you are interested in!

Barnegat Lighthouse State Park is a picturesque destination that boasts a coastal forest, hiking trails, and a lighthouse offering sweeping vistas. Despite the ongoing renovation of the famed landmark, visitors can still enjoy the park's serene surroundings along with fishing opportunities. The place is popular among families and photographers alike due to its tranquil atmosphere and stunning natural beauty.
Love visiting and walking around. The lighthouse was recently renovated and it is open for the public (for free!) while the park is open. Nice view from up above.
Walking by the water and then on the jetty is so relaxing and pretty.
Highly recommended on a sunny day.
Can get crowded sometimes (especially by people that come to fish).
There are also restrooms that are in decent shape, as well as picnic tables.

I like these kinds of places that overlook inlets by the ocean, and the Barnegat Light end has always been a nice place to stop. This 2022 season the famous lighthouse will be covered in a maintenance wrapper and can't be climbed, but otherwise the park will be open. It's also a good area to drop a line in the water and test your luck/skill. My recent visit was right before the seasonal summer schedule starts. So there weren't many other people around.

Great place to visit and watch shore birds fly around. I specifically go for photography, but it’s a great place to take a walk and chill. Right now the Lighthouse is undergoing renovations so just be aware if you are going to photograph it. Also, nesting shorebirds area is NOT a place to walk your dogs! See photos.

The park is awesome, great day trip. Great views from the top of the light house! Not so hard to go up, if you are worried, as I was, to make it to the top, just take your time. There are little landings along the way of the spiral stairs to take a break. Enjoy.

If you are traveling to LBI, Barnegat Lighthouse State Park is a must! The lighthouse itself is well preserved and quite a sight! To make it even more exciting, if you’re up for the challenge, you can walk up to the very top! The climb to the top, does take some perseverance, but there are a few spots to stop and rest off of the spiral staircase. The breeze and the view from above is breathtaking!

Barnegat Lighthouse State Park is truly a sight to behold. The lighthouse itself stands as a majestic landmark, and the opportunity to climb its 217 stairs to the top is an adventure in itself. The park offers more than just the lighthouse, though. There is a pier where you can enjoy fishing, as well as a scenic sanded area perfect for picnicking and enjoying the outdoors. If you have the chance, I highly recommend visiting this beautiful park. It's a place where you can immerse yourself in natural beauty and create lasting memories.

Old Barney it's a great place to visit whatever time of year it is. The climb up the lighthouse steps is a bit challenging, but I was able to do it at 70 years of age. Worth the effort! The park also has a visitor center, trails through the maritime Forest and dunes, fishing from the jetty rocks, or just enjoying sightseeing and the smell of the sea, along side of the awesome Barnegat inlet!

Just beautiful! Open for climbing 9am -3pm. There is a $3 fee to climb the 217 steps, but it's worth it. The view is breathtaking. The parking is free, and is open till 8pm. Bathrooms are clean. Picnic tables and pavilions are available if you pack a lunch. Also, a maritime forest trail to walk. There are a few places nearby to eat, grab ice cream or mini golf .... It's definitely worth the trip.

History:
Barnegat Lighthouse, locally known as “Old Barney,” is situated on the precarious northern tip of Long Beach Island, NJ, and was originally lit in 1859. Coastal vessels heading to and from New York relied heavily on the lighthouse to protect them from the point’s dangerous shoals, swift currents, and shifting sandbars.
Visitors can climb 217 steps to the top of this maritime specimen for a breathtaking panoramic view of Island Beach, Barnegat Bay, and Long Beach Island.
Lighthouse is not the only thing here, there are also a couple of activities that you can do while you are here
Maritime Forest Trail - The self-guided loop trail is 0.2 miles long, with forest, and migratory birds. Interpretive signs explain the birds and plants you may see during your stroll.
Fishing – If fishing is your game, be sure to bring your gear and head to the bulkhead near the picnic area
Bird watching, picnics, and more...
A few blocks away, you can visit the Barnegat Light Museum, which we didn’t have the opportunity to see but it’s still worth checking out
If you were picturing an area of a lighthouse with beautiful glistening blue-green water, then visiting the Barnegat Lighthouse should be a stop you should make down here in southern New Jersey.

This is the 2nd tallest lighthouse in New Jersey. With 217 steps to the top. Great view of the ocean. It's located at the end of Long Beach Island. I just went on Saturday Jan 13th and didn't have to purchase a ticket to go up. But I think previous during the summer time you might have to previous a ticker or make a donation I can't really remember.

At the end of road, drive past and you are in the channel! Free State Park. NJ Coastal Heritage Trail. Open 8am to 8pm. Lighthouse hours vary. No drones, alcohol or smoking. Plenty of parking. Parking lot and grounds are handicap friendly but not the recently restored lighthouse. Bike trails, sheltered panic tables, bathrooms, nature trail, fishing and more. View from top of the Lighthouse is worth the 217 steps!

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid! I’ve taken field trips here and have come here with family. It’s so fun and nice here. I love the rocks that you can hop along to the end of the beach. Thundering Surf Waterpark is a large seasonal entertainment venue that offers a variety of activities such as a water park, miniature golf course, and casual eateries. Although it may be small in size, there are several attractions to enjoy for approximately two hours with friends or family. These include the lazy river, flow rider, six tube slides, and a four-lane downhill racing slide. The park also has designated areas suitable for young children and older guests alike.
Great place to spend a couple of hours, especially with toddlers who get bored of the beach after a few days. The park is really clean and my 2 year old and 3 ½ year old had a blast! The 2-hour ticket is the perfect amount of time. Definitely arrive for when it opens before it gets too crowded. It’s in a great location across from a park and plenty of lunch and shopping options for afterwards.

Great time. The lazy river is good for those that dislike the thrill of the slides. The 10 slides are a great time and lines move fast. The body surf pool is awesome. The miniature gold course is fun and for those that have smaller kids they have a whole kiddie section.

We had an incredible experience at the water park. Our son is on the spectrum and didn't understand the life guards whistles. I first brought this to the attention of a wonderful lady working the locker area, who's name I unfortunately can not remember and then to the head life guard Dan. Dan proceeded to go out of his way to inform his crew of my sons situation. He provided a VIP wrist band to my son and went around showing all of the life guards what to look for. Our time spent at Thundering was made great due to them. Thank you, Dan!!!! Things like this and people like yourself do not go unnoticed and it ment so much to my family🙂 Now to review the park. The slides and lazy river are awesome. The staff was friendly and all smiles. Weather a 2 or 3 hour block there is so much to do. The lines move fast and safely. You will not leave the park unsatisfied. We even came back the next day to play mini golf, which was a very fun 36 holes. Thanks again! We will return every time on the island.

Always a good time. YES, this water park is small, but if you are with friends and having fun, there is plenty to do for 2 hours.
Lazy river, flow rider, 6 tube slides, a 4 lane downhill racing slide (gentlemen, watch your man parts at the bottom). Nice section for small kids and big kids. We usually got 2 or 3 over 2 weeks and kids are entertained for the full 2 hours.
I think it's a good deal if you buy the 3 or 5 day pass.

It was a good time, I got absolutely abused on the slides 🤣 my hips, elbows bruised but I'd say it's fun. My 5 year old had a blast. Little on the pricey side tbh 2 hrs like 60 bucks? I'd probably just head across the street and hit up the beach. There's ample parking though and some restaurants, coffee and shops right here.

Great little Waterpark. Wasn't that expensive, and there was lots for the kids to do of all ages. We took a 5 year old through a 18 year old and they all filled their time for three hours. In fact, they were sad to go. A bonus was that the flow rider was included in the price. Many places charge extra. I recommend Sunday morning when we got 3 hours for the price of two and it was not that busy.
We have a house on the island and go multiple times each summer. Lots of fun and fair pricing. Highly recommended for locals and vacationers alike!

Looks cute, but to be honest we were there for maybe 30 minutes. My kids are 13 and 10 and I wouldn't describe them as daredevils, but there wasn't much to do there. They are too big for the kiddie area and that left two slides one that had 4 lanes and the other has six separate sections but it is all one ride. I even made them go on a bunch of times..I asked for a partial refund, but they no, their mini golf takes longer...stick to the beach, it's free.

Great place to cool off! The staff is friendly and pleasant. No lines for any of the attractions when we were there (on a hot Sunday afternoon). Avoid the grill, the food is meh. My smoothie at Playa Bowl was really good. First time there won't be our last.

Went to the waterpark on a Thursday purchased a cabana we had five children three adults
Purchased lunch for all of us. Also purchased playa bowls, push pops from the snack stand and also milk for the babies there was no one else renting a cabana. It rained at approximately 2 o’clock. While I was watching my children playing on the splash pad in the rain. A man with a white T-shirt on nothing that said he worked for the waterpark basically came up and scolded my wife and I said we had brought food into the cabana and it wasn’t aloud was extremely rude, and aggressive we had no idea who he was and they closed down all the snack stand when it started raining so we had a couple bags of snack cookies that we gave the children
It is always nice to deal, with aggressive people when you have five children that are under five your wife and your mother With you
Thinking about the situation I am assuming this man was the owner not sure

Ship Bottom Shellfish is a family-owned restaurant and market that has been serving high-quality seafood and American cuisine since 1981. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, with limited indoor seating but plenty of outdoor seating options, including a porch-style bar with stools. To avoid long waits, it's best to call ahead to see what the wait time is like.
Perfect place to stop after a day at the beach. We ordered the garlic clams, coconut shrimp with the potato salad and coleslaw, and flounder sandwich. Service was good, staff was very friendly and attentive, and atmosphere was nice.

Ordered take out, and while the food was good, the restaurant could do better. My $18 salad with “jumbo shrimp” had exactly 4 smallish, overcooked shrimp. Knowing take out orders often don’t include enough dressing, I asked for extra up front, and was given just two very tiny containers. I could only eat half the salad because I ran out of dressing. I’m okay with the high prices, just give me an actual meal for my money.

We all really enjoyed eating here. All of the food was delicious. There's limited indoor seating, but lots of outdoor seating if the weather is suitable - including several tables and a porch-style bar with stools. It's typically pretty busy here so it's best to call to see what the wait is. However, you will need to be there in person to actually get in the waiting list.
There's some additional kids items that we didn't see on their website menu like PBJ and Hot Dog with fries if your kids don't like seafood or like the basics.
It is BYOB here if you are planning to have any alcohol. Also, the only bathroom seems to be accessible by going outside and around the corner.

6/2022: The service at the counter was very pleasant and helpful. Keep up the good work. Ordered the soft shell crab sandwich to go for $23. The crab itself was simply okay and the fries were crispy and chunky. The bread buns for the sandwich was not good. I would not order this again, thus the three stars. The food coming out of the kitchen looked very mediocre. Enjoy what you can.

Love love love Tropics! Awesome store filled with Crocs, women’s clothing, and accessories. They have made me feel very safe shopping in the store during COVID-19. Also, one of the very few stores that allows try-ons! After trying clothes on, the employees sanitize the clothes with a high-powered steamer. Other stores should really consider this! I love this store. i’ve grown up going here and it’s super cool to still see it open. I wish it was still original on the inside. I’m not a fan of the remodel but they still have a lot of great stuff.

It's our go-to for gifts. A staple on the Island. The staff is always friendly and we always leave happy.🙂

It’s a great spot for finding anything you need for the beach or with LBI on it. It would be great if they had better sales. There are always sales going on, but not of the sweatshirts or shirts you really want. Otherwise sweatshirts are about $50-$75 each.

Every year during my stay I hit this place up at least a few times. Great candy selection, weird bootleg toys, stickers, all sorts of knick nacks and beachy items.

Went in there looking for the flag of long Beach island. You would think being a popular store that they would have everything related to long Beach island but not. Was rather disappointed in the store, given it was in the off season but it still dosnt excuse the fact the lack of items there is disappointing.
A cute & quaint place to checkout after the Barnegate Lighthouse & Gift-shop/Museum/Visitor Center. It definitely complements the Barnegate Lighthouse visit, getting to check out some more historical stuff related to the lighthouse.

Such a beautiful piece of history. The staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of the lighthouse, museum (formerly a schoolhouse) and the overall area. The garden is lovely and well maintained. I enjoyed the little video about the coast guard dog Sinbad. That is definitely great for kids to check out. This museum is small, but it is really worth checking out if you are going to the lighthouse.

Hyper local history museum. Friendly volunteer. On street parking. Garden with short walking paths out back. Wheelchair accessible via a lift. Air conditioning!

Love, Love, Love Old Barney!! The face lift is Fantabulous! This is a must climb every year!!

Wonderful historical building, within walking distance of the lighthouse. Totally worth visiting after a visit to the barnegat lighthouse. They have the original lens inside the building, and the caretakers are very nice and knowledgeable. They also have lots of history about this building in particular which apparently was a school at one point. It's free entry, and they're open most days so drop by.

Climbed to the top this fall. Love the view. Love the nature trail. Great place for pictures!!!. I go every year. Haven’t done the museum since it’s been closed whenever I go but it’s another thing to check out in the future.

We love walking around the gardens surrounding the museum. There are so many volunteers and people that help out weeding and cleaning up these gardens. Wonderfully friendly people. We've made this part of our morning walking routine. Highly recommended.

I stopped at this museum while on the NJ Lighthouse Challenge. It’s a small museum, but has a lot of historical information and artifacts, the lens from the Barnegat Lighthouse and beautiful gardens in the back.

Absolutely beautiful gardens. Didnt get a chance to go inside since it was off season, but the gardens are always open. Definitely a must see. Very quaint and relaxing
Viking Village, originally a lobster co-op in the 1920s, has evolved into a bustling commercial fishing port with added attractions such as clothing, crafts and collectibles shops, and food vendors housed in repurposed fishing shacks. Visitors can enjoy free dock tours on Fridays or simply stroll around to admire the colorful fishing fleet. The village sponsors commercial fishing tours where visitors can learn about fish catching and processing.
Viking Village is one of the hidden gems of LBI. I love perusing the little cottage-like stores and admiring the many fishing boats. And this time, I was lucky enough to catch a fishing boat unloading! The sunset cruises that leave from here are also well worth the price.
If you’re looking for a more local LBI experience, Barnegat Light has so much to offer and Viking Village is definitely a must!

Nice collection of shops. Met Captain Lou, half-owner of the village & proprietor of Uff a Museum. There is an ATM for the places that only accept cash. There is a $3.99 charge per transaction, so be aware.

Really charming, excellent sea breeze, and very good coffee shop. A lot of the stores were closed but that's probably because of the holidays. You should check it out!

Took a ride to Viking Village expecting to see a bunch of shops, get something to eat something to drink, but the food vendors were closed and it was a beautiful day. Some of the shops were closed also. surprised with the Labor Day weekend upon us. the shops that were open were cordial and inviting, very interesting merchandise to sort through.

Waste of money what a tourist trap. The only fun activity was the archery. But they only allow you to shoot 3 arrows that’s it. Even though there was nobody else in line. He even said that he does not want to retrieve the arrows when we said we would immediately leave the minute anybody showed up in line. He said that is the policy only 3 arrows.

Where to the fish and scallops that you eat come from? Viking Village is a commercial fishing dock. One of the last in NJ. Fully operations. Many boats and captains. Fridays at 10:00 AM they provide a tour to the public. Really GREAT.

Ok so if anyone has ever seen The perfect storm the little area reminds me of that fishing dock. A couple of little shops but believe it or not I always find good deals on Mens Costa and Jetty stuff always visit the village on my visits and chat with the boat crews coming in.

Nice shops and a great free tour on Fridays. They had a local chef who demonstrated how to properly cook dry scallops, which were delicious. A must visit if you're on the island.
Great selection of local artists work and very friendly and knowledgeable people. Stop here for your Jersey Shore memories and take home some unique gifts. The hand painted lighthouse mugs are a treasure, and will keep reminding you of the great times long after the kitchy 5 & 10 souvenirs are in the trash.

If you haven't been yet to this gallery you should! There is a great selection of types of art here. Locals pour their hearts in to their work. What a great way to support the locals and get a great new piece to showcase at your home! Come out for the special events that are hosted. You will hear music, get a bite to eat and see amazing art and meet the artists! It doesn't get better than that!

Highly recommend both for purchasing items, ordering custom made pieces, and classes. You really get a great experience, exploring clay with guidance. You can get at much or as little input as you're comfortable with. Perfect for all experience levels (for kids would recommend earliest around age 7).

Fantasy Island Amusement Park is a seasonal venue that offers carnival rides, a carousel, games, arcade, casual eats and ice cream. The park stands out for its cleanliness with well-maintained restrooms and hand sanitizing stations located throughout the area. The variety of rides makes it perfect for families with kids of different age groups. Alongside the rides are fun arcade games and carnival-style attractions to keep visitors entertained.
Kids of all ages will enjoy this park. I came here with two adults and five children of various ages on Monday night. The five kids loved being there.
According to the two teenagers the sea dragon ride and the tall drop ride are the two best rides. One of the younger kids really loved the games.
Some of us adults could just sit around and hang out until the kids came back saying the card was out of money.
Apparently at this park you buy a card, like a credit card, filled with a certain amount that the kids use at the different rides and activities until it runs out. A similar concept to tickets years ago.
There are plenty of good junk food options for the kids to consume. There are plenty of bench spaces for the adults to rest. All of the rides and activities are very close together.
We have brought the kids on several occasions as they have grown up and they always love it. I rode the rides with them when they were younger and they are good rides. Well worth the money to keep your kids busy for a couple hours. The kids had a fabulous time.

Amazing place for kids and where kids actually win something. My son left with so many prizes and we didn’t have to spend a thousand dollars. He’s also 1 ½ years old and could only play a few games so that’s saying a lot! I could only imagine if he was bigger how many tokens he would have had. Worth going to! And Sunday they do a kiddie pass from 4-6pm with unlimited rides for $15 plus a free ice cream. What else could you ask for!

I was very impressed with how clean this place was! Honestly no signs of trash anywhere, the restrooms were spotless. They have hand sanitizing stations at plenty of places around the park. Plus they even have an outdoor hand washing spot. Now let's talk about the fun! There's a great mix of rides for kids of all ages. So it's perfect for families with different age ranges. The rides all look great and safe. There's a fun arcade and carnival style games outside too. It's a great place since there's not much else in the area like this. I will definitely be back again.

My granddaughter had a fun time on the rides and playing games. All the employees were nice, especially the game people, seeing that she's a baby, they gave her extra time to throw balls, and rings, she even won a prize.

This is a nice little amusement park, though most of the rides are for younger kids, they still have an arcade, some carnival games, and food locations such as funnel cake. Parking is also free which is a plus.

Went for a kids birthday party off season arcade only. Very clean and updated establishment. Fair wining odds on the claw machines which is now rare and has discouraged us from playing claw machines in many other arcades. Convenient loadable cards that also store your winnings to cash in. Long play time for 'battle' type games.
Jillian Eble — Google review
I have been going here since I was a kid. It has changed a little bit over the 30 years but it still is so much fun! I love taking my son there now and especially love heading down during the winter to hit up the arcade. I love the arcade and how they have stayed updated with all the technology and the games. We always also leave winning at the claw machines which makes me feel like it isn’t rigged so we waste money. Definitely recommend for a day trip or if you are on vacation definitely head down there for the night, ride some rides and get some ice cream. If you find yourself stuck inside on a rainy day hit the arcade.

Great place for little kids. A bunch of kiddie rides and carnival style games. Easy to load and use the card system. Simply buy / load your card with funds and present it at each game / ride until you run out. Reload at any kiosk or at the service station near the center of the park. Not a big park and even while it was busy, the lines were never too long. We didn't have to wait long for any ride but we did visit during the week. Definitely a must visit when in LBI.

I highly recommend this place. The people are very friendly. I wanted to go on go rides and asked if they would discrimination me from going on any of them because I have Functional Neurological Disorder which could cause spasms. They said no. They gave my partner a special bracelet just incase I am in trouble. To stop the ride. Not 1 employee gave me problems when I started my spasms or fits. I definitely will be going back. Prices where very good. The view was excellent. Thank you all for being Polite and not making it awkward for me to enjoy myself with my disability.

We have had our last 2 birthdays here and I cannot say enough great things about the staff. They are kind and attentive! We chose the VIP package for both and I highly recommend the splurge! The kids loved having the arcade to themselves and their friends! The peace of mind for the parents of the littles was a great bonus! Definitely recommend!

We stopped by for some Father's Day fun and had a blast! Ski ball and knocking down the kewpie dolls are always my favorites. We also were successful with the claw, picking up a couple of "pals" for our daughter's collection. Although it is still under construction, Fantasy Island looks better than it has in years! Just bring plenty cash when you go.
I travel an HOUR every time I need a gift. Was worried after they moved but i end up liking it just as much! If not more! The boat they are in is friggen awesome. Ecclectic selections. Something for everyone really. Love this store

I visited this store recently and fell in love! At first glance it seems like your typical coastal gift and home goods store, but it’s so beautifully curated and it’s obvious that every item was chosen thoughtfully—you’re bound to find something special and unique. The staff was absolutely wonderful as well.

Lovely gift shop located near the Barnegat Lighthouse. Been around forever, but said to say that the owner is retiring and the store is closing. We stopped in response to an email detailing a sale. However, the best items were gone. We are huge Mackenzie Childs collectors and was able to snag a cute cat dish. There were a few flower market items left. Will be sad to see it going away!😥

The Priest’s here prepare a heartfelt, meaningful Homily and the people are there without an obligation ….. they are there to engage in the celebration of the Mass 🎤

This is such a great parish! My grandparents have a condo in Beach Haven and whenever we're in LBI on a Sunday, we make sure to go to church, and that's largely because this place is fantastic! Otherwise, we would probably just skip. It's great that people want to go to church even when they're on vacation! This place is packed full of people in the summer at the mass we go to! My grandparents live in Medford, NJ and they occasionally even attend church here in the fall/winter/spring (driving an hour) because this church is that good, which is more than their local parish just minutes away from their house!

The Priest is a super Liberal more concerned about the pagan doomsday prophecy known as "Climate Change" (because the Climate never changed until 20 years ago) then he is with spreading the gospel, I was very disappointed

Grace Calvary is a very welcoming, bible-based church with an awesome Pastor, friendly church community, outstanding music ministry, and numerous outreach programs. Pastor Dan is an excellent theologian, who delivers relevant, inspirational sermons each Sunday and interesting bible studies during the week. I love the genuineness of this sweet Ship Bottom church on LBI.

Dan Stott is a public menace and a danger to his community in terms of signing religious exemptions for his congregation so they could skirt receiving a life saving vaccination. He has blood on his hands and needs to be held accountable for his wrong doings. He is using his high standing to misguide his congregation and now there are people ill and hospitalized because of his negligence. He also bans people from his church that disagree with him, and try to reason with him. I would avoid this church at all cost. It is not safe.

This is a place where my parents have gotten married and my grandmother was an active member and we had many friends connected to this church in their Glory days. I had been to Bayside for a very long time and wasn't until my early twenties I had come to Grace Calvary. Not that I ever felt at home at Bayside or had a relationship with God, however my life has changed ever since I came to Grace Calvary. We may be a small church but we're well united. This church I can finally call home, family, and that we concentrate on quality not quantity. We also unite with other churches and make a point to join in on different events especially Easter a sunrise service. We also love and cherish our missions but most importantly as number one, we love God with all our souls, all our minds, our hearts, and strength. Jesus tells us to love our neighbors as ourself and we hope that we show God through His Word and Word alone.

Nice mass and church - came while in town on vacation
Parking lot can get confusing, also no kneeling?
John Cardinale — Google review
Too progressive. There were no kneelers (seemed to have been removed or weren’t purchased with the pews?). The Tabernacle was off to the left side of the church (not on the raised altar area, which had plenty of room). There was a menorah, a gift from the local Jewish community for the church’s efforts to aid them in rebuilding their synagogue, on a shelf above the Tabernacle. Definitely should have been placed elsewhere. I also noticed the priest’s efforts to not use any male pronouns in reference to mankind. The priest changed the “he” to “they” or skipped over the word. The cantor and lector are seated on the altar. Clapping before and after mass. The music was well done and the Eucharistic Minister did permit receiving on the tongue.

A welcoming Community with very fine execution of the Liturgy. Preaching is excellent and focused. The Franciscans know how to care for the people of their Parish. There are a lot of our services at the community center for both children and young adults and older adults as well; besides the offerings of the swimming pool and all of the variety of services that go with it. If you're in town don't miss praying and celebrating Mass with this community.🙏

I went to mass a few times while on vacation in LBI at various times this summer. The priests are very woke, they omit words when they can that make references to he,him etc.(yes that's where the church is heading, especially under this communist pope). The cantors are just as bad. I wonder if changing prayers at your own discretion invalidates the mass? What a disgrace. The one thing they do right is, only give communion on the hand so people don't breathe their germs onto the priests hands.
Myself and 3 family members decided to ride 12 miles to the light house. Which was totally awesome! Once we arrived into Barnegat light we saw a sign stating free water for walkers, bikers and runners. We were so impressed we thought we would ride by St Peters to check it out. Low and behold they had a sweet walking garden and cold waters in a cooler. Honestly such a thoughtful and nice gesture from the people at this church. We were looking for an area to donate some money and even knocked on both doors that were connected to the garden. Unfortunately no one answered which is why I’m writing here. I wanted to thank the kind and generous folks that left a sign out and water for the pedestrians walking around. It’s people like this that truly make you appreciate where we live and what we believe in. Thank you for leaving the cold waters out as the 4 of us didn’t even think to pack a few dollars for our adventure. 24 miles would have been a heck of a trek with no waters. We were very grateful and appreciative of it. We said a little prayer, walked about in the cute garden and enjoyed a cold bottle of water. Thank you again!!! Hope to see someone there next year !
