The Cherry Creek State Park is a great place to explore the outdoors in Denver. The park has many activities such as fishing, hiking, biking and swimming, which are all great in the warmer months. However, because it is located around the city, it can get a bit noisy at times.
A beautiful state park in Denver. Especially beautiful in the fall when the trees are changing. The walking/cycling trails are really relaxing to take, and the beach is nice. The lake is cool as well, and is a good place for paddle-boarding and sailing. I’ve never camped here but the campgrounds look nice, especially for cookout style camping. Forsure a great little spot to try out if you live in Denver or are just visiting

Excellent place! Extremely pleasant camping area. The representatives are useful and pleasant. The camp hosts were excellent. Our site was truly perfect and faultless. There are a lot of bicycle and climbing trails. There is an exceptionally huge ocean side region with a lot of regions to excursion. Mainly, there is by all accounts some wrongdoing in the recreation area. There are various signs posted about keeping things secured, particularly bicycles. Be back soon.

Very beautiful park. I absolutely love the prairie dogs!!! Definitely the highlight of the trip. Walked my dog along the path and she loved seeing the prairie dogs as well. Lots of picnic areas by the lake. We had a nice lunch there. They have Porta potties.

Feels great to recreate! Cherry Creek State Park is full of walking, driving, biking paths. You need a sticker to drive a car in, but it costs only about $3. I've visited a few different spots within, and it's great to enjoy sweeping views of the mountains while visiting. Many benches located throughout, great for viewing wildlife like ducks, birds, geese, and a random buck or two here and there. It's a well used area but you can still manage to find a trail that can make you feel lost. .

This park is GREAT. Boating, camping, fishing, Bbqs and just a great little place nestled away. I paid $11 for a car to get a day pass and it was an all day thing. Taking photos and just taking it all in. Great place to bring the dogs or/and the kids.

The beach by the lake is great! Nice and helpful staff. It was a good time watching my young son play in the sand and watch the boats come in and go out. The wildlife is very diverse even for being in the city. When you are in the park you don't feel like it is in the city.

Love this park. Some areas are much more well kept when it comes to trash but overall this place brings me much joy. I enjoy viewing the water with the mountains & Skyline & playing I SPY with wild animals here. We've seen deer, rabbits, hawks & other beautiful birds, fish, coyotes, fox & more here!

I visited in autumn for a short day hike. For a long stretch of the trail I walked, there were tons of adorable prairie dogs running around just off the path. Seeing their little colony in nature was the highlight of the trip. Other than that, I didn't see many super compelling landscape features. The area that I explored was fairly flat and dry, a typical (if well-preserved) prairie landscape, with not much in the way of flora. The experience may be very different if you come to camp or go on the water, but I'd only be back to find those prairie dogs again.

10/31/21 - it was cold. Nice place, around the city. It has a lot of entrance. Almost all trees leaves are gone. Great place to fish, walk, bike, etc…..mostly during summer even swimming. Right now it’s quiet, you will mainly bird sounds. Pelicans and seagulls are together in one area.

Great bike trails, running, walking, etc. Also features a swimming beach! Certain trails you cannot bike on, but are great for walking or running. There are picnic benches near the lake and lots of places to park throughout.
Entrance fees are included in the colorado state parks pass, or are a separate cost.
Worth it as it is a great bit of nature in the middle of the Denver / Aurora metro. Highly recommend!

At first glance I was disappointed in coming here—especially at the harbour and beach line. Better to head to the mountains. The water is green and putrid, and there is nothing to do unless you bring your own boat. Even then, there are so many hotrods zipping around on their jetskis I could hardly see how that could be enjoyable. HOWEVER, there are some nice bike paths and walking trails that are quite peaceful and with plenty of wildlife, especially birds. If, that is, you can ignore the pop-pop-pop from there nearby gun range

Wow, what an amazing jewel in Aurora. We really enjoyed it, very clean, operational and peaceful.
Lots of trees, bike, walking paths. We spent 4 days there camping just to use our camper one more time before it gets cold. Here are a few pics.

Great place to walk your dog or even walk without a pet. The park is clean, and the lake is great to take your boat out on. There are restrooms, but not during the winter.

We stopped here twice, on the way to and from Yellowstone to use the RV park. It's pretty close to the highway so you can hear the cars from the Gold Rush loop which also felt pretty open. I liked Coyote loop better. Felt more enclosed/private/foresty. The spots are clean and other guests were quiet. We walked around a bit and enjoyed the lake/sunset.

Beautiful day. Ice is still on Reservoir but not on trails. There are lots of hiking options. Gr8 mountain views with a kite skier on the ice.

It's Colorado in the plains area so it's a lot of beige most of the year. But the park is a good size lots of little trail areas and a great spot for nature photos. No complaints, just nothing to say Wow! Great for locals but not a place I would take visitors.

Beautiful state park, so relaxing to spend the day. Perfect place to hike swim when it's warm enough, spend time relaxing and enjoying the nature, decently clean, good amount of picnic tables and grills, fun bird watching. Cheap 10 $ fee for the day spent at the lake and grilling with the family. Gorgeous sunsets, and so beautiful in the fall

Here at end August 2023, there were at least 2 roads I'm trying to cross through to make a loop were closed for construction and I had to walk through the dog park to make a complete loop. It would've been super enjoyable if the trails are not closed. It's a beautiful park, especially the flowers under the dam area. Plenty of picnic location available, restroom and water stations. Great place for outdoor activities, people were fishing, chilling, shooting ranges, flying mini planes, boating, biking etc. Very uncrowded, park could've been further utilized.

BE AWARE: Despite being listed as a state park you can access with your CPW pass you buy with your car registration... They will charge you an additional $3 fee here... Seems a bit bait & switch and borderline illegal but whatever. Once you pass them putting their hand out again for money it is quite a lovely state park especially in a Fall afternoon with a few nice trails although some were blocked with "closed" signs

We loved it! Although there was a lot more trash than expected. I suggest water shoes for the kiddos. I saw tons of bottle caps. Plastic and metal on the beach.

This is a wonderfully, clean park right outside of Denver with many options for recreation-biking, walking trails, boating, bird watching, etc. The campground is very peaceful with widely spaced, paved sites! Nice, metal picnic tables sit atop their own concrete pads. This park has a very nice laundry facility with reasonable rates as well! We really enjoyed our time here! My only gripe is that the park’s entrance fee is not included with the camping fee.

Beautiful view of the lake with beautiful tall trees covering the campsites. Restrooms are fancy. The park seems a bit upscale from most state parks I've been to. The showers have credit card readers.
I thought it was a beautiful place to visit and camp. I recommend it.
Stanley Marketplace is a spacious and inviting warehouse space that houses a variety of food vendors, retailers, and businesses. Located in Aurora but within walking distance from Denver's Stapleton neighborhood, it offers an array of independent boutiques, bookstores, markets, breweries, and wine-and-spirit shops.
Great place for the entire family. I love all of the great food options, the beer hall is my personal favorite. Sweet cow is a huge hit with my kids, especially after playing hard at the playground. The attached playground is a game changer.

I highly recommend visiting this mini mall during the holiday season!!!! Camp Christmas seasonal event is inside (timed entry tickets can be bought online or on site). Every store is full, tons of decorations, decorated trees, and lights everywhere. Lots of sit down bars and restaurants. Handful of counter service restaurants with tabletops in hallways to sit at. Very kid friendly. Shops have everything from books, apparel, home decor, plants, to hair salons and workout studios. It was much bigger inside than I anticipated (2 stories), reminiscent of the mini malls and squares that were all over the Denver area in the 80s.

Very cool location. There's far more eateries then retail stores which are a bit pricey. We went on a saturday around 10:30 and crowds were very light but activity did pick-up by lunch. I'm willing to bet dinner time here is very busy but I can't say that for sure. We spent about 3 hours here between checking out the various stores, the art show that was there that weekend and eating lunch. FYI, there is quite a bit of playground space and equipment as well. I would say Stanley is a great space to check out if in town for a few days.

Very cool place for food, drinks and shopping. We got there after the stores were closed but the window shopping let me know I need to come back. There is probably around 12 different food options. Italian, Asian, Indian, Deli, almost anything you want. There were 6 of us and we all ate at different places. Everything was very good!

Amazing! I have tried almost all restaurants, gone to every store, and have come to tons of events hosted by Stanley’s. I recommend with no hesitation. If you want the best time, go to the beer hall. Oscar, Anastasia, and Olga were such a wonderful help when deciding what to drink and eat. They were so nice and funny. P.S. Oscar makes the best mix drinks.

This was the best/ coolest place!!!! Loved it! Food was so good I went back bed wanted to keep going but I was in Denver for work so I can’t lol stores looked awesome also! A lot of them were closed during “dinner” so I didn’t get to go inside! But awesome atmosphere!! Love the concept! Get one in illinois lol

Really enjoyed the food and shopping options. Impressed by all the kid friendly venues and activities as well such as cooking classes, gymnastics, STEM, a book store and more. Fresh open air areas as well as climate controlled areas. Room to sit and work or convsere with friends. Unique gift and apparel shops, laid back atmosphere. Definitely a nice stop if you're in the Aurora area.

Came here on a Saturday morning while visiting the Denver area. We had a large group, so the Stanley was a perfect place to go since there's many different food and drink options. There's also different stores if you want to do some shopping. For the kids, there's also a small play area outside.
I recommend this place if everyone can't agree on what to eat. Few places have outside eating areas if you want to have drinks and desserts too.

Lots of shops and restaurants. Chi Lin Asian Eatery was not bad. I think the Braised pork belly rice bowl was really flavorful and amazing, but the ramen was too salty and the udon noodles were overdone. Misaki was really good. The Spider roll came with perilla leaves and it was refreshing. The salmon and tuna were good. The playground was very big and the kids had so much fun running around.
Joanne Phuong — Google review
Different from any other place I've been to, a unique experience. 20 or so taps on the wall to dispense beers and drinks. You insert the card you got as you entered the venue and you dispense the drinks yourself. Drinks are charged by the ounce and you can pour as much or as little as you wish. Food was also quite good with an impossible burger for vegetarians.
Stores and shops to browse through. Worth a visit if you've never been.

Growth isn't always about money or status. Sometimes the best growth is within you. The way you think, the way you feel. Come to Stanley Marketplace and you'll have nothing but good vibes and the feels.
If you love food halls or unique marketplaces, this is the place to be. Nestled in Aurora, this gem sits amidst a quaint neighborhood and the industrial area. Plenty of parking even during events, I love coming here to see what gets changed out and brought in.
My favorite shops are scattered among here. Industrial Luxury is perfect for your plant parents if you are needing a hard to find plant or needing to level up your pottery. Poppy and Pine offers fresh flower stems for purchase along with the loveliest scents and knick knacks or stationery if you love pen to paper like I do. True and Sterre let's you snag fashionable finds that won't make you a carbon copy.
Plenty of eateries to choose from including, Denver Biscuit Company and Cheluna Brewing Co, and Churreria de Madrid feeds my churro appetite. If you can't decide, grab an empanada or two at Maria Empanada or some macaroons at Miette et Chocolat while shopping. So many cute nooks for photo ops throughout the shop.
Feeling restless or needing energy boost, you can dock with your laptop at any of the seating areas. Or get an escape from the work day by taking a kick boxing class here. My favorite is the rotating exhibit and live music events here. I came for the immersive Salvador Dali exhibit and just did the Space Explorers. WOW, it is taking art into the most surreal experience.
You can spend a day here and tire yourself out. If you had to put your soul on a diet, come here to avoid stress, envy, negative vibes, doubt or deceit.

Great place!!! Many places to eat and shop or gather to visit, Stanley has it all. I only wish I found it sooner than our last day in Aurora. The food variety under one roof is great!! I had the BEST Pozole I've ever had at Evita. We even bought some of their marinated local lamb and meat to bring home. Empanadas are also delicious. Sushi, Ramen, Chocolate, Tapas....so many choices. I'm still dreaming of that Pozole 😋.

We came across this place and did not know it existed. Nice shops and restaurants. Recommended restaurants: Denver Biscuit, Maria empanada - Argentinian empanadas (both sweet & savory) and Churreria de Madrid - Spanish style churros for the sweet tooth.
Southlands is a large shopping mall in southeast Denver dedicated to the American Main Street spirit. It has more than 180 retailers, restaurants, and offices and is home to a health club facility, 16-theater AMC theater, winter ice skating pond and events like a farmers market during the summer. Southlands is one of several outdoor malls in the Denver area.
Had a wonderful walk-in pedicure by Henry. Long, comforting massage included. Very lovely surroundings. Even had black "disappearing" toilet in ladies room. Appreciated the beauty & cleanliness and also the enforced Covid precautions. Highly recommended!! Ask for Henry.

Gorgeous and clean shopping center. There are many food options as well as shave ice and froyo. There is a fun water feature that my kids turned into a splash pad, I'm not sure if that's what it's for bc no other children were running through it. There was also a beautiful fire pit surrounded with a dozen chairs to sit, relax and warm up. I wish there were a few more clothing shopping stores available

I have been going to Southlands since about 2008! I have watched it grow and change! I love this shopping center! It's got such a great atmosphere for walking and shopping and a really great selection of stores. It's really big so you'll have to choose to walk the outdoor shopping mall or drive to the outlying big stores such as Wal-Mart, Sam's Club or Best Buy. One of the best parts of Southlands is that they also have events and they turn their main gathering place in front of the movie theater into a skating rink during winter months!

It has some great shops and restaurants but seems to have a high tenant turnover so don’t get too attached to a place.

I went in here for camera film cartridges, and I was 8 months pregnant. I couldn't get anyone to tell me where I might look for the cartridges. When I did find them, I went to check out, not realizing they only had one line. So I got into one with the sign that said checkout. I was then looked at like I was an idiot and the cashier at the desk told his other coworker on the desk, "Do these people in line first they were in line." I'm sorry, but that's not okay. Don't have a sign over the checkout when you want people to check out at customer service. Keep in mind there was NO sign saying this, so I didn't know. VERY rude male staff if you're a woman. The lady who checked me out was very nice, but my goodness. I won't be back to this location again.

in the middle of the square they have the water fountains for the kids to run through and at night it's a nice little place for live music.
It's definitely worth the time and energy to come here and relax but that being said at the same time many other people also want the same thing so be ready for some crazy traffic on different days it varies also the parking can be a challenge.

Went to Chili's and had the worst server ever...he was very forgetful. His name was Mason. We put in an appetizer order and I asked him about it twice. The 2nd time he was like what appetizer so I told him and he said oh I forgot...He didn't remember drink orders so it wasn't a pleasant experience. I still tipped him 20% and will just write another review on Yelp. The food, once we got it, was good.
The Aurora Reservoir is a large park in Denver that contains a nice beach for tanning, paddle boarding, boating, and fishing. There are lifeguards on duty to watch the kiddos and a nature center to learn while you sun. The water at the reservoir comes straight from the mountains and is cold during the summertime, but it can get hot on a real hot day. This park is beautiful to visit and has a great path around the lake.
We attended a Family Function. I just want to clear up that they charge by car. Not person. $15 on weekends. $10 weekdays. Senior & Handicapped prices as well. Its a great place. Staff very friendly. Bern here a few times.

This place is filled with fun paddle boarders until about 2 PM when crowds of loud music playing, barbecuing, very little regard for who is sitting where, beach dwellers show up. The Park Rangers seem to not be able to do anything about it or they won’t.

How have I lived in Colorado for 5 years and not known we have a beach! A nice one. We came by to check this place out. So happy we did. They let us turn our day pass into an annual pass. You can also add a 2nd vehicle for an additional $30. We might do that too. Swimming area, fishing areas, boats, kayaks, paddle boards. So much to do. There is even an indoor nature center where they do things with the kids. A great place to cool down too. You can rent kayaks and paddle boards. You can also rent cover led ares for your own use. We arw absolutely excited to make use of this year round park. They also have locker rooms and bathrooms.

I never knew Denver had a little beach! Very nice, quite beach at least on the day I went. Clean sand and clear water. Water was cold tho lol. This water comes straight from the mountains the park guy told me. Thats why the waters kind of chilly. Oh but on a real hot day, it will do! Very nice beach to spend the day at. But after labor, everything's closed so there's not much to do but soak in sun and catch some rays.

Purchased the season pass a few weeks ago and have been twice now, each time has been super easy to get in and you can buy the pass at the front entrance. This is possibly the most underrated place of entertainment in all of Colorado. Our group of friends, all visiting for the first time (and some are CO natives) had the time of our lives! The staff were friendly. At the betting window, an employee patiently gave us a tutorial. The food is comparable to movie theater food, but, hey. The hotdogs were great and the prices right. The bar staff served up ice cold beer. The entire place was clean and fresh. This secret needs to be let out!

Been going here for years! Today was an absolute joke! Didn’t have enough people taking bets. Machines barely worked at best. I hope these issue get fixed and fast. A lot of people just left because you couldn’t bet on the races.

Opening day, they were definitely NOT prepared.
Long, long, lines. Only 2 voucher machines open which didn’t accept my voucher . Only 2 people working the window - one lady was new, got overwhelmed and walked away leaving a long line. never got beer or food - lines were too long. No table service on the 4th floor after paying for a table. A/C didn’t work due to a lightening strike the night before. Ballys should be ashamed of themselves.
Won’t be going back!

It had been a few years since I came here and I hoped bally would have renovated the place since then. They probably made some improvements but the place was still old and dirty. The food is extremely overpriced for not being very good. They only had one guy taking bets on the level I was and so many people couldn't get their bets in in time. Very few machines were on this level and only one took cash.

They had ONE bartender. When I cashed in my ticket for my winnings, the cashier didn't have any small bills, so i had to negotiate with someone else to get the proper change for the cashier to give me my money. We got the dollars straight and he still owed me 50 cents and basically said I wasn't getting it. I guess that's why the line didn't move for over 15 minutes at a time! They need to get their act together. I've seen better management at a lemonade stand!

My tire was stabbed at this horse track. I would be very cautious when parking at this facility. The horse track is nice but could use some shaded bleachers and better indoor design. Giving it five stars because it is a fun day out, staff is super friendly, and there just isn't anything else like it anymore in the state.
Only complaint is that it's shocking how expensive the drinks are. Two drinks came to $42 before tip... it's like going to Coors field.
D. J. — Google review
I have been to several racing venues and this one is just OK. I do still recommend it and love being 10 feet from the track when the horses are running, but the facility is in need of a small facelift on the interior. They have $1 wagers and fair priced snacks, the alchohol is outrageously priced though.
Update 2022: The place is only getting worse with time. Went opening day and there’s not even close to enough betting machines or windows open to accommodate a small crowd. The races have like 4 horses and you can’t even hear the announcers. This place is quickly becoming a bigger joke. Bally’s needs to renovate that junk hole.

When I decided to visit this conservation center, I realized quickly that it was too cold to venture far on the muddy trail. What I did see (and touch) were cool. Fur pelts in the visitor center were absurdly satisfying to the touch, and a telescope pointed at an eagles nest outside promises viewers the potential for witnessing greatness. The staff member was helpful and unlocked the Yurt for me to explore. More information about the area, its past, and the animals would satisfy my curiosity further; it's such a large area, and there's got to be more to the history.

Spent the morning on the trails to the sod homestead, vintage farm equipment, and tipi. Wrapped up the windy day inside at the visitors center that didn’t open until around noon. Great experience for kids inside and out and beautiful gravel trails to walk or run a few miles.

I had no idea how diverse and important praries are until I visited. Must see! The staff members love this place, and it shows through the property and the programming. Bring layers and water at a bare minimum, though. We were SO dehydrated after our hike, and the wind was deceiving!

I love walking/running out there. It's just so wide open, and, is never crowded. I'd recommend the place just for that reason!

Today was the first day I've been to the Plains Conservation Center since the City of Aurora took over operations.
I love the fact that Aurora hauled sheep onto the conservatory as a natural lawn maintenance.
If you get a chance head down the trail to the homesteader's location. The sod homes are extremely interesting and a reminder of how difficult the west was to settle for 19th century settlers.
Since there is very little to no cover from the elements I'd suggest checking the weather before heading out on any trails. High winds, rain and hail, or even just the unbridled punishment of the summer sun can ruin an otherwise fun experience.

Plains Conservation Center is great. The historical, cultural, and wildlife features make this open space prairie a must see!
The Aurora Museum, located in the Aurora building and designed by renowned Japanese architect Ando Tadao, showcases a remarkable collection of Chinese treasures dating back to the Han dynasty. The six-floor museum houses artefacts including jade from Neolithic to Qing dynasty periods, blue-and-white porcelain from Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties as well as Buddhist sculptures from Gandharan and Northern Wei periods. Visitors can also view the famous 2903 tile jade burial suit sewn with gold wire.
Some people on here talked about having a guide, that’s about the only thing that could have made this free little Museum even better. There’s a small variety of items helping to detail the history of Aurora as well as photographs. The life size trolley car is a highlight. I liked reading all the old fashioned advertising. There is also a modest gift shop with some Colorado/Aurora related items. And some cute greeting cards.

Had the best time here. I loved that Dave (a guide) explained his story through the exhibit. He’s even pictured in some of the photos in the exhibit. Extremely informative and will be coming back again. There were zero crowds. It’s also free!!! I’ll be coming back.

I went to a meet and greet in one of the museum rooms.
My only complaint would be that the signage to the museum entrance was not clear enough, we drove around for about 10 minutes or more trying to find the entrance.
Staff was friendly and knowledgeable of museum activities.

I love that they have a free museum for the family. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and informative. She invited us to do the scavenger hunt and we enjoyed it. It was fun looking for all the items with the family. The restored Trolley was a treat. We enjoyed going inside the Trolley and sitting down. I recommend this museum. Fun for the whole family.

A Treasure Trove of Local Heritage
I recently visited the Aurora History Museum and was thoroughly impressed by the experience! The museum is a gem in the heart of the city, showcasing the rich and diverse history of Aurora with elegance and educational depth.
🎨 The exhibits are thoughtfully curated, offering a vibrant tapestry of local history, culture, and art. Each display is not only informative but also engaging, making it a fantastic educational experience for visitors of all ages.
👩🏫 The staff deserves special mention for their knowledge and enthusiasm. They were incredibly friendly and eager to share stories and insights that brought the exhibits to life. Their passion for Aurora's history is contagious!
📚 What I loved most was how the museum weaves the city's past into a narrative that is both comprehensive and accessible. From historical artifacts to interactive sections, there’s something to pique everyone's interest. It’s a wonderful way to spend a day learning about the local heritage and its impact on the community today.

Vintage Theatre is a performing arts venue that offers revival and contemporary musicals and plays on weekends. Along with these performances, the theater also provides acting classes for individuals interested in developing their skills. The space includes a full bar, creating an enjoyable atmosphere for attendees. Vintage Theatre has been praised for its professional productions and excellent staff, with visitors regretting not discovering the theater earlier.
Have been going to Vintage Theatre performances for several years. It is an absolute gem! Each performance has been a delight and absolutely professionally done. The atmosphere in either of its two theaters is excellent. The staff is first rate, friendly and helpful. We only wished we had discovered the Vintage years earlier!

Last night I witnessed an unbelievable tour de force in the one woman show, "Eleanor" about the life of Eleanor Roosevelt. Deborah Persoff was so believable and spoke directly to her audience. It was totally inspiring in every way. It was about authentic acting as well as the Roosevelt story. Thank you so much for extending this run!

Vintage Theatre is an Aurora treasure. It may be small in structure, but they put on big productions. And the productions are of great quality. I like that they mount popular plays and musicals, as well as shows that are not as well-known. It is also a good place to go to watch a cabaret. Like a typical theater, the drinks are not cheap. However, it is cute how they structure and name their cocktails after songs or aspects of a current show. For instance, Spamalot is one of the current productions and there is a cocktail called "The Drink That Tastes Like This." So named after a fun popular song in the show. To conclude, Vintage Theatre is one of the best theaters in Colorado. I highly recommend.

I used to love going to this place. Very nice plays. But this past weekend, I went to a play (which was very good) but was dismayed to find a man in what had been the ladies room. The theatre now has two separate bathrooms with stalls and sinks that are both for both genders. Sorry, but I will never go back there again.

Came to see this memorial while we were in Aurora. My husband has a friend he served with on the wall here. Was a very beautiful and simple display to pay respect and to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. As a veteran it always hits harder to see these memorials but it's also nice to know those who lost their lives are not forgotten ❤

Came to Colorado Freedom Memorial to pay my respects to the fallen of my state. This is a very beautiful memorial! The zigzagging plexiglass and steel wall is etched with names, in no apparent order. There's a binder, easy to access, with the names in alphabetical order to explain where on the wall a particular name is located.
Near the wall are eight red granite rectangular pillars, one for each country's American cemeteries of WWII dead. France, Netherlands, Philippines, England, Luxembourg...with the number of Colorado dead in each one. An incredible number are buried in the Philippines.
There is a spacious covered picnic pavilion. There are restrooms, but they're locked. There is an interactive kiosk next to the stand where the binder is, but it didn't work.
The flags were at half-staff.

The memorial is on Telluride just north of 6th ave. I rode by on my way to the Highline Canal Trail. They were still working on the memorial but what is completed is very nice. There is plenty of parking an some covered tables near the south end. Nice spot for a break while on a bike ride.

Launch Pad Brewery is a lively microbrewery that offers an impressive selection of offbeat craft beers in their rocket-themed taproom. The establishment also features a fascinating collection of exhibits detailing the missile mission that took place in the Denver area, showcasing their respect for military and scientific history. The friendly staff members are always happy to assist customers with recommendations from their extensive beer menu. In addition to great brews, Launch Pad Brewery also serves delicious food such as wings prepared by Jeff the Chef.

Great beer - a TON of choices! If you can't find a beer you like here, you probably don't like beer! Very neat "space" vibe, also a military service vibe (I think maybe it is owned by military veterans?). Either way, it was a very comfortable place to hang out. There were events going on many nights of the week (a drunken spelling bee, for instance!) and the service was great.

One of my favorite breweries in the Denver metro area. The beer list is extensive (32 beers on draft as of last count), with a mix of staples and rotating drafts. Flights are reasonably priced with good size pours. The crew at Launch Pad are good people who create a welcoming environment. Highly recommend!

This place is awesome. Great selection of beer, but also a really cool almost museum of the missile mission that was executed in the Denver area. Solid respect of military and scientific history that a lot of people may not even be aware happened right in their backyard. Super cool.
Also - did I mention the beer is good? Great brews and the people are friendly. I tried about five different brews and they were all good pours.

I popped into this place to try it out since I was in the neighborhood and never heard of it before driving by. It's a shame the ambience of the place isn't very welcoming because the beers I tried were good. The space themed decor is awesome but there are a lot of other pieces of decor that were shocking to see and didn't connote a "everyone is welcome" vibe. The place is certainly targeted towards a certain demographic and not anyone else. I didn't feel comfortable in the place and I think the beertenders could tell because they weren't the friendliest. They didn't seem interested in engaging with me, I just picked tasters that sounded good and got out of there. The Sunrise Tangerine Ale was very good and the Strawberry Moon is yummy as well. Again, the beer is good and tasty, the environment will have you crawling out of your skin. No matter how good the beer is, it's not worth the discomfort of sitting in that place and dealing with the service.

Even though we are out-of-towners, I'd definitely return!
This park is great for all ages, with a seasonal sprayground, playground, sports fields and access to hiking trails. It was busy when we visited, but that's okay - kids were playing together and having fun. The water turns off for 15 minutes at a time, but it only happened once while we were there.
We had such a good time here. Our pool at our apartment is out of service so I Googled "splash pad" and found this little gem. It was busy. That's okay. Kids were playing together and having fun. Kids of all ages. The water does turn off for 15 minutes at a time. I was not able to gage how often it does that. It only happened once while we were there. That was about 2 hours or so. Then we switched to the playground. I also appreciate the inclusion of all areas.

Great splash park and playground area. A lot of space for grilling and family time. Be courteous to other families visiting the park as it is a public area. Children and family's should be respectful watching out for smaller and other children and also leaving space for other families to enjoy the area as well. Taking turns from the splash park to the playground allowing other families to enjoy both without them being over crowded. Other than that it is a great park to enjoy with family and friends.

Took my son here to play in the water park area and he absolutely loved it. My only gripe is people bring food around the area and don't clean up after themselves so it is a little dirty there. The water pumps are shut down for 15 minute intervals which sucks but hey I have no control over it. Overall this is a nice little park for the kiddos

We had our company Memorial Day BBQ Sunday 5/28, and everyone who came had a wonderful time. The kids especially loved the splash pad. Everyone was able to locate this park easily. The only problem was the port-a-potty colse to us was really gross. There needs to be more added for such a big park.

A nice park with water park and playground. There's shelters, benches and trees all.around for shades. The only downside is, there is only 1 toilet building and (my friend said) it is not a flush toilet - I didn't go there myself. But, overall, it is a nice park for the kids.

It’s a nice for the kids to run around in. During the summer time, the water park is fun for kids of all ages. It overlooks Buckley Space Force Base and you can observe the F-16s taking off and landing. My wife likes coming at dusk to meet her lovers behind my back. It’s a nice place to walk your dog during the daytime, they have baseball fields and there’s a snack truck some days. Lots of really pretty picnic areas too.

My daughter and I loved this park its close to home with a great play area for little kids as well as big kids.. and of course the water park the best part of it all. I appreciate the posted times to allow for a break in between all that water fun. They do have a bathroom which was kept very clean. FYI get there early if your doing a party or just need seating for more than one or two people because this is a busy park.

One of the Best 'Free Things To Do with kids' place to spend the whole day outdoors and there is NOTHING there that costs money. Plan a little ahead with plenty of drinks and food, blanket, umbrella and water toys and your whole day is set. There are so many things to do there including the water park (infant +) with 2-3 inch water depths, covered activities in the water areas (wow) AND there are break times for kids to dry off a little and have a snack without the frustration of trying to get them out of the water (see photo for schedule), a very nice playground (walkers +), a basket ball court (8 yrs+) and a large area to picnic either on blankets with lots of trees spread out or gazebo covered tables - All within sight (on the same lot space) and less than 2 min walking from one end to the other. Well designed to keep the older kids in one area and toddlers safe from kids running around. The parking lot is spacious but primarily centered to the water park. Reservations available but I would get there early and post something as I've heard Aurora Parks & Rec are not reliable at placing reserved signs for planned events. Open until 11p.m. during warm months - I believe there is a NO GLASS policy and follows the state/county open space codes for beer and spirits.

Great splashpad to keep cool in the summer! Plenty of shaded areas near the water, and some trees for added shade. Covered gazebos with grills, bathrooms available. Will visit again!
We walked around the reservoir last summer/fall about 3x per month and loved it. Was in the morning, very active wildlife. Many fishing too both in boat or from shore. Very peaceful. Great place right in the city.

Honestly I've lived in Aurora for decades and never knew this place existed! Awesome place to see some water and walk on a soft trail. The bugs are relentless but truly spectacular for being in the city. There are not a lot of people on the trails and after you walk from the parking lot the noise just disappears. Parking is not free, but there is a school across the street that's free to park in and you'll have to cross over Quincy. A great spot to clear your mind!

genuinely really lovely. a nice getaway within the city. you can park across the street at the elementary school in the summer (or you used to be able to, things may have changed in the past few years). but it’s more accessible than the state park down quincy and just as lovely. they also just built a dog park and it’s great for the puppers. go at sunset to truly enjoy it for what it is, which is a cute little respite from the lack of lakes in colorado.

A getaway in the city. Great path for walking/running/ bike riding with plenty of places to go down to the water and play on the shore with the kids. I don't fish, but see plenty of people catching fish here.
We see duck and geese families throughout the season as well as a lot of other cool birds.
Great sunsets over the mountains as well.
I really wish Quincy Reservoir was open during the winter months, but understand it serves a purpose to be closed.

Very peaceful lake. No motorized boats allowed so the water is clean. The trails are good for hiking and biking, but the trails can be uneven and muddy sometimes, so be careful. Kayaking is nice out on the lake when it isn’t windy. You can’t stop on the island or swim, but paddling out there is fun. The trail is about 2.5 miles, so it’s a nice walk or bike ride. The place is good for exercise since you don’t have to pay to walk the trails. This picture is a view of the lake from my backyard in August.

Love the place but have the owners/staff ever heard of a mop? Vacuum? Bleach for the bathrooms? Seriously, there are stains and sticky candy stuck to the floor, walls, and pillars; the carpets are in desperate need of a shampooing. The chairs and toys are covered in grime. Lastly, you can feel the bounce houses have a film on them. So do bring a change of clothes for all that enter!

Just had a birthday party there for our son and his friends; it was a fantastic experience from the first phone call to the end. The people working there are very nice and friendly. We happened to reserve a party spot for 2 hours on a Thursday afternoon and it was so great because there weren't many other families there. No one got hurt, the equipment was working and clean. The bathrooms were open, working and clean!
The party area was decorated for us with balloons and our son's name in big letters on the wall, and we didn't even know that would happen- what a nice surprise! We heard the parents of our son's friends saying that they didn't know about this place but that they would definitely be back again soon. It was a great experience.

Very unfriendly staff... Adults are not allowed on ANY of the inflatables, so this is best suited for older children (3-5) and expect self-play or with another child.
Because you can't monitor them inside, other larger kids can rough house with your child, and you can't help them out if they get scared or lost.
Also concerned about the cleanliness / how often things are sanitized. Saw some questionable liquids when they are not allowed in the area.

Movie Tavern Aurora offers a unique experience of combining new movie releases with high-quality cuisine and cocktails that can be conveniently ordered at the touch of a button. Despite changes in staffing, the employees are friendly and accommodating to customers. While the food may be expensive, it is of excellent quality, with standout dishes such as the Hollywood Heat Burger. Overall, Movie Tavern Aurora provides an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon or evening out while enjoying both good food and entertainment.

4/9/22-When we first got there and requested one of the tickets to be a senior the ticket girl automatically suggested the handicap seating which was great because it was helpful since my mom has issues with stairs. We haven't been to this theater since before covid. The prices of the food have gone up and the quality has gone down. Like my mom's pizza was under cooked and bland. They also had to remark our soda since the first time it came out as odd tasting water. Their seats are slightly more comfy then other theaters. The tickets are also slightly higher then other theaters.

I came here for my first 3D movie in a super long time. If I had a suggestion for review-readers, it would be to visit and make an assessment for yourself. I had popcorn and a drink, and it was much better than AMC’s pre-made junk that you butter yourself. I did not: order other food, use the bathrooms, or see any manner of rodent. So I can’t speak to those things. The reclining chairs were soft and comfortable, and the sound quality was good. Anyone I spoke with was helpful.

Our total was almost $70 for 2 movie tickets, 2 sandwiches with fries, and a large pop. The theater was insanely hot with zero ventilation or air movement. We were sticking to the chairs from being so sweaty. After about halfway through we had to request passes from the manager to try again another night, which they provided upon request. The food was not great either. My chicken sandwich was not finished and the fries were the better part of the meal, even though they were soggy. The cheese on the chicken sandwich was a plastic type of American cheese that had no taste, but left my mouth coated with the gross fatty coating only cheap American cheese can provide. My husband had the mushroom and Swiss burger, which he eventually finished, but said it was just ok. The menu descriptions sounded so much better than the food we actually received.
We walked out of the theater into an 85 degree night and remarked about how much cooler it was outside versus inside. Please, if your air isn’t working on a 95+ degree day, don’t sell tickets to customers. Holy sweaty buckets Batman! Many other patrons were leaving left and right due to the heat. I love the concept and we will use our passes to go back and see our intended movie once it is cooler outside. However, we will not be back after that. I prefer to support smaller movie venues, but not when these kind of issues are common. Based upon reviews I read after getting home last night, the air conditioning issue isn’t new and isn’t improving.

Came to Movie Tavern to see both nights of the Metallica Concert that streamed from Texas. Night one went flawlessly, they turned up the music and let us rock out with our you know what's out. Night two the sound was messy, very low. Asked to turn it up several times, about 30 mins was wasted. Finally the room revolted and one of the employees told us a manager was working on the sound and that it would be turned up and finally it was. I guess the sound system is complicated? At any rate, The rest of the concert was great. Overall it was a fun time and the price for the tickets were very reasonable. I'd go back.

Awful theatre, from start to finish. Ordered the mac and cheese and they literally served it to us still in the single serve microwave bag??? So gross. Bartender is nice, but there's only one so we stood in line for over 20 minutes. Honestly, just go to a regular theatre. This place is beyond bad.
Anna Monley — Google review
I thought they bring food to your seat in the theater. I don’t understand why I paid almost $15 for a ticket to have to wait in line for 15mins to get a drink ? Then they only have one girl working the bar ordering food while everyone is in back just staring at her .
Natalie Valenzuela — Google review
It was smaller than most theatres, giving it a comfy vibe. Food could be ordered and delivered to your seat. The bartender was great. Staff was helpful with questions. Multiple movies to choose from. Price was way better than the larger theatres. Will definitely come visit here again!
Heather Chatigny — Google review
Went to a movie last night with my husband. Usually, we like to get there early to sit at the bar and enjoy an adult beverage before going to our seats. This has changed. They make you stand in line at the bar to be served. They got rid of half the tables in the area also. We were super disappointed in that since we don't get out very often and really enjoy this part of our movie nights. However, the theaters are usually nice and clean, and we love that they seat fewer people. We won't stop coming here, but won't hang out in the bar anymore.

Theaters are soft and roomie, with good sound and views. The alcoholic selection is great where as the food/candy selection is very limited. The food eats have the same Quality as Gas Station food, definitely has declined since 2021. The popcorn is always fresh and made with care, especially when you ask with butter!

Been here several times; it keeps getting more expensive, the seats are comfortable and you get to pick them when you buy the tickets. The food is below average, but at least they bring it to your seat. The bathrooms are never cleaned well. But other then that the location is nice. It’s better then AMC. I recommend this location for movies and drinks.

I have not been to the Movie Tavern in almost 5 years. We came back today for lunch and to see Maverick. I’m so glad we did! While much has changed, especially among the amount of staffing, everyone who was working was very nice and helpful. The food was on the pricey side but was VERY GOOD. I loved my Hollywood Heat Burger. A perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon. Thanks Movie Tavern!!

This place is horrible…I went to watch a movie and my seat was right by the isle and literally the whole movie people were constantly walking by taking food back and forth back and forth. I mean I get it that’s what this place is known for but it’s such a distraction to those people who have to sit in aisle seats. You can’t even focus on the movie because you’ve got people walking by you every 2 seconds. I just feel like they should find a better way to do this. Also you’ve constantly got workers coming in dropping food off talking to other workers WHILE THE MOVIE is on…cmon dude…there’s gotta be a better way. I won’t be back to this place. The movies are meant to WATCH movies not have a full blown meal and some person waiting tables…👎👎

This review is long over due June 32023 the staff at Movie Tavern went above and beyond expectations. This day we got rained out of our party at the park up the street and we moved or party to the Tavern. Grayson was our main server and hands down the best customer service I have experienced in some time. I want to say that the staff that supporter her was outstanding as well. Thank you for your kindness, support and excellent service.
DeShone Prince — Google review
Today on Valentine’s Day the seats were clean, the setting was good, the issue was that it took over 40 min to take our order today. The server said he did not see us along with another couple. The food and drinks were brought out after that but after 20 min they told us one of the foods was unavailable. The staff and management did take care of the meal and we appreciated that but the delay was driving my wife crazy. We made the best of the night and hope to visit again.

The theater is starting to show its age. The lights were not working after the show ended so we had to use our phone flashlights to find the exit. The movie and sound was good though.
Nice library with very helpful staff. Lots of computer for kids teens and adults. Nice large space to sit and work or read with nice bright windows. Downstairs has lots of space and upstairs has multiple rooms for meetings, story time, etc...
Erik Hockom — Google review
This library is interesting since they put the childrens section up front, unlike many that Ive been to that place it in the back or hidden away in some corner. The lower level is the main section where most people read, do homework, or work on their laptop. This library is within walking distance from other governmental buildings and the History museum, so you can just park your car in one of the parking lots and do everything in a short amount of travel in between them. I really like all the artwork and sculptures in a around these buildings, adds a nice touch.

Extremely helpful staff, some of the friendliest librarians!
I stopped in on my way back home from an appointment to grab a library card.
Many aren't aware that, as a Colorado resident, you can get a library card in every district as long as you have one in your home district!
They have great resources through Libby, Hoopla and Kanopy. So grab your card today.
They are also giving away a free reusable bag when you check out 10 items (while supplies last).

Such a great library, so nice and relaxing. Love the art, feels calming and beautiful all around. Helpful, friendly people, lots of areas to relax and plenty of computers to use.

This is a very large library.
Not quite as large as the seven story one downtown Denver, but there are thousands of books in here.
If you're a reader like I am, this is the largest library in Aurora

Seemed to have most necessities. Great staff. Relatively close to public transportation and a mall.
Gabriela Cadena — Google review
Although the building is huge with lots of amenities the staff was not very nice. The study rooms you could only book a max of 4 hours for the day, if it’s slow then why is that a rule? I was in a study room 3.5 hours and was told my time was up even though there was another room available. Everyone in the study rooms were talking on their phones so you couldn’t concentrate on anything. Outside of the study rooms people were super loud and chatty. Aren’t libraries supposed to be quiet? That was not the case here. Will not be going back.
Danielle Ciccone — Google review
This place is super loud your better off going to Starbucks if your trying to study! Kids running around playing, people on their phone laughing. There was 2 ladies having play time with a baby they were loud the baby was crying and no one said anything. I think that was pretty rude of them being this is a library and should be quiet. You can find some where else to have play time with your baby the library should have not even been an option

From the moment I stepped into the Aurora Central Public Library, I was struck by the stunning architecture which perfectly blends modern design with classic elegance. The expansive windows flood the space with natural light, creating a warm and inviting ambiance.
The library's accessibility is commendable, offering easy navigation for all patrons, including those with disabilities. Every floor is easily reachable via elevators, and the layout is intuitive, allowing for a seamless journey through its vast collection.
Speaking of the collection, the variety of reading materials available is nothing short of spectacular. From the latest bestsellers to rare historical documents, there's something for every reader. The genres are well-organized, making it easy to find your preferred section, whether it’s fiction, non-fiction, children's books, or reference materials.
The staff here deserves a special mention. They are not just helpful but genuinely friendly, going above and beyond to assist with finding books or answering queries. Their passion for literature and knowledge is evident and contagious.
The library also serves as a cultural hub, hosting various art exhibits that showcase local artists. These exhibits add an enriching layer to the library experience, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in both literary and visual arts.
Lastly, the atmosphere in the library is just perfect for reading and studying. It's quiet without being oppressive, and there are plenty of cozy nooks for those who want to settle in with a book. The presence of comfortable seating and free Wi-Fi adds to the overall chill vibe, making it an ideal spot for both relaxation and productivity.
In conclusion, the Aurora Central Public Library is more than just a place to borrow books; it’s a community treasure that enriches the mind and soul. Highly recommended for anyone who loves reading, art, and a peaceful environment to enjoy them in.

I love this library. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It has large space downstairs for events that they host and I didn’t have a problem booking a study room when needed. I love that they have small DYI programs like Go & Grab for seed planting which is thoughtful.

My 2nd time coming here. Just loved exploring Aurora History Museum, fascinating items to see & purchase. I also saw The Festival of wreaths, amazing designs. The lights of the those trees were a wow! My favorite was seeing the reindeer, so sweet. Food & drink was very minimal. Overall, had a VERY nice time.

This library is great. They have so many activities for all ages. Story time is great and so much fun. Reading Buddies for kids k-5 has also been a fun way to promote reading for my kindergartener. In the kid area they also have computers with fun activities.
What a great showing of Freaky Friday! "The mom" was absolutely hilarious! Fastest musical I've ever seen...not as in short, but as in so entertaining time just flew by. I didn't want it to end. Wife and daughter were in tears they were laughing so hard. "ADAMMM!" Sorry, you had to be there. Try to get there for this one. Great for kids too, say maybe best for understanding the storyline would be 12 and up.

Very nice venue. It is historic in the Denver / Aurora area, and has been lovingly restored, instead of being demolished. Saw a play there. About 300 seats, all of which are good. The sound system is excellent, and the staff are friendly. An enjoyable experience. Highly recommended.

Theatre can seat a decent amount of guests but the lobby gets very crowded. Wish the bathrooms were bigger -- a 3-stall womens restroom does not agree with a 15 minute intermission.

Took a flight lesson at The Pilothouse and loved all different styles of beers. They even make a great Rootbeer as well. Friendly staff made me feel like a regular and were very knowledgeable about all the recipes for the different beers. Thanks for guiding me through the menu Chris. I'll be back for sure!
Garland — Google review
Pilothouse was on my list for over a year, but I was a little disappointed by the quality of their beer. The tripel was my favorite by far. Some of the other ones with low numbers on the board (1-8) were decent as well. I also liked the Rauchbier as it was unique and reminded me of some of the beers from True Brewing. The imperial stout, wee heavy, and pumpkin were all way to sweet. On a positive note, the decor and atmosphere is really nice and very east coast yacht club. The bar tender was friendly and outgoing as well. Too bad the beer was thin and boozy. Honestly, these single location brew pubs should not be focused on making 30+ styles. They should focus on making 12 really good beers.

Just found Pilothouse Brewing and love it. The owners are great and the beer is amazing. Tons on tap. Also they have a home brewing competition where you can brew and sell your own beer recipes on tap at their brewery.
Sky Zone Trampoline Park is an entertainment complex that offers a range of activities, including trampolining, zip-lining, sports and more. They also have various theme nights to keep things exciting. The facility is clean and has hand sanitizer stations available for guests' use. They have recently added a food bar which is a welcomed addition. While masks aren't required, the staff takes appropriate safety measures to ensure guest's safety during the pandemic.
My kids have always enjoy coming to Defy. We hadn’t been since covid started. Place is clean, masks aren’t required, saw a few hand sanitizer stations. They have added a food bar since our last visit, which is really nice.
We came early on a Sunday to help out with a friends birthday party. I noticed it is pretty empty on Sunday morning and at lunch time.
Even with the small amount of people there on a Sunday, it was way too over stimulating for our ASD child. Thankfully we had a party room where she could calm down.

We came here today to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The event was pretty well organized and our host Eddie was amazing! He always had refills coming, the pizzas came out hot, and he was even able to get us a knife for the cake since we had forgot ours. We did the Mega VIP Party Packet for about 15 kids. It included the socks, VIP passes to use for a separate day, and water bottles. We are happy with the experience!

Went for a nephew's birthday and didn't expect to be waiting at the front desk and couches until the last hour when the room was ready. Booked for 2 hrs and spent the last hr in special room. Most places at least would give you the room for the entire 2 hrs of the stay. Staff needs leadership there to help with the lack enthusiasm for impatient parents waiting for birthday rooms to be ready. Nothing too special about this place versus their competitors. Over all everyone had fun and safely got home. It's all about the fun they had and not about the impatient parents.

It's always clean and open someone can see kids. Today was a particularly fun experience as an employee, Marc, was interacting with the kids by the jump platforms and zipline and was rating the kids jumps, clapping, making commentary Ina fun way and all the kids had more fun because if him. He kept this up for his whole shift. Really solid person. Thanks Marc!

Had my son’s 8th birthday party here last weekend. It was such a great experience. Everything went great and stress free, the check in process was easy, super friendly staff and our host did an awesome job. Today, I brought my child to the Aurora Sky Zone, but I had to leave after a few minutes due to the unacceptable conditions. This place has changed names 3 times now and Sky Zone taking it over made it so much worse. We paid for a birthday party which was really well organized BUT after the kids ate they wouldn’t let them use the last 15 minutes to play and came around and CUT the wrist bands off everyone with scissors.
Seemed so ridiculous as the place was dead, barely anyone playing. This has never happened to us at former Spider Monkey, Defy or Lava Island. They are way too strict for no reason.
The pizza is too huge for kids, not cut all the way. You’re better off paying the $50 and bringing your own food honestly.

Super fun. Not as clean as I'd like. The equipment all seemed in great shape. I'm not too jazzed about the foam pits being covered, it's definitely not as safe or fun. But we had a good time. You need to Vegan and healthy food please! One staff member was nice. The rest are young kids and don't have much as far as customer service.

I had my son's party and it was so disorganized. After confirming with the manager 2 days prior getting to the facility, there was so many miscommunications. Then I had a manager tell me that I needed to be grateful that they were trying to help me out. He pissed me off to where I just let my husband handle it from there. The pizza slices are way to big and wasn't cut fully. No one introduced themselves as our host or checked on us throughout our entire party until the last 45 minutes. Also their clock was 30 mins fast which cut into the jumping time. I would not have a party there again, but I would go back individually. I did like that I could bring outside food that was the biggest plus.
Horseshoe Park is a long, narrow 10-mile urban park that features winding trails and creeks. The horseshoe-shaped park boasts several baseball diamonds and is a popular spot for dog-walking due to the presence of paved trails and numerous pet waste stations. Additionally, wildlife such as prairie dogs and waterfowl can be spotted in the area, with occasional sightings of bobcats.
This park is great there are a few spots to layout a blanket and relax, great for running/walking, and plenty of Geocaches spread across the area. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed per CoA. Happy hunting.

Great place to walk your dog as there are a couple of paved trails. It’s my favorite park to walk my dog. Perhaps it’s the time I go there (early morning or around noon), but it always seems quiet. There are plenty of dog bag stations to dispose of pet waste. The other dog walkers, runners, and cyclists that use this park regularly are very friendly.

Huge open park, with 2 baseball fields, a playground, open areas and prairie dog hills. If you're a biker, it connects with quite a few trail systems (Highline Canal, Powerline Train, Cherry Creek Spillway & more) and leads to Treadz, Peak 2 Peak Taphouse, and more.
Lots of wildlife in the bushes. Birdhouses all over, and hawks constantly circling. Fox, coyotes, raccoons and even beavers and the occasional deer. Walk with caution near dusk. Good for bird watching.
Accessible from Iliff or north on Mexico.

Nice taproom. It was quiet on a Saturday night and had plenty of seating. The cider menu is fairly small, but that just made my choices easier!
They offer you sparkling or still water, and the bartender checked in on us fairly frequently. We brought in some outside food, as they don't have food there.
Prices seem reasonable and the ciders tasted good. I'd recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Hands down, one of the most delightful places to enjoy locally crafted ciders. Haykin does not use any adjuncts or other fruits in their ciders but you will be blown away by the huge selection of ciders made from apples and crabapples. Well worth trying and will definitely be coming back.
The logistics. Onsite parking is available. The bar area and sitting room were nicely laid out. Our server, Nancy, was excellent. She was extremely knowledgable about all aspects of the ciders, the apples used and the process. There wasn't a question we had that she couldn't answer.

At Haykin you'll have some of the finest cider the US has to offer. The focus here is on the apple, and mainly cider-specific apples, so you won't find any fruit additions to their beverages beyond that, which I appreciated.
My favorites were probably the dabinett, and the Colorado methode ancestrale, although everything was excellent.

Wow! Incredible ciders! Washington and Colorado apples were amazing! Great selection of ciders! Perfect place for groups, family and a Saturday night with friends. GLUTEN FREE LOVERS COME TO HAYKIN FAMILY CIDER. Cider is awesome and a must try! We ordered the flight of 7 ciders. Some were tapped and some were bottled! What an hidden gem near the train and Peoria light rail station. It is an industrial district in Aurora, a hop and a skip away from Stapleton.
Cute little bar top that seats less than 15. Great ambiance, decor and beautiful lighting above the bar. Clean and adorable restroom too. Plus it is also on the Aurora Craft Brew Tours. A great way to explore 8 different places. Plus you win a glass or a growlers. They are all kosher. They are an award winning small batch cidery in Aurora. A great a sparkling wine like ciders with so many levels of flavors. Also keep in mind they just entered all 16 ciders in Glintcap 2018 and all 16 placed an award out of 1400 other cideries. THIS IS A MUST GO TO PLACE!
