Had an amazing olive oil tasting experience! Their high quality certified organic olive oils are a gem. A huge variety of options to chose from in a cozy, pretty and charming farm set up. Must visit when in Ojai.

My friend & I came here on a Monday to do olive oil tasting. They all were so yummy! The staff was so friendly & gave us cooking advice on each oil. They really took their time & were so helpful. They definitely provided a genuine welcoming experience.
I bought some of Their olive oil face lotion, it is awesome. My skin feels wonderful! Looks a lot healthier.
The space has chickens & roosters too.

Great location and great variety of olive oils. The tasting for 10$ is definitely worth it. My favorite one: the Andalusian.

We had a great time this weekend doing the Olive Oil Tasting. They have over 15 different types of olive oils and you are able to sample them all for just $10. You fill up your cups with the ones you want to select, they give you small bread squares to dip, and they even have a beautiful, shaded sitting area where you can sample the oils. They have a large parking lot right out front and it’s in a quiet part of Ojai, which makes it really fun to drive to. The service was great and they did a great job explaining the different oils.
We ended up buying our favorites which were Provençal, Lemon, Garlic, and Traditional Balsamic. I cook seafood often so the Lemon Olive Oil will go perfectly with that because it’s packed with a delicious lemon flavor. Also the Provençal was our favorite of the four main varieties, although many tables around us seemed to prefer the Andalusian, which has a more peppery finish to it vs the fruity finish that Provençal has.
Overall a truly great experience and a must do when visiting Ojai. We drove up from Los Angeles especially for this and were very happy that we did so.

Fun activity in the area.
For just 10$ a person you get to taste a large variety of different olive oil and balsamic vinegar samples. My personal favorite was the garlic olive oil!

Worth checking out this place outside of Ojai if you're in the area. The staff were friendly and we met their furry employee Penguin. We did the $10 tasting which seemed like good value (though the bread they served was just basic white bread). Try 21 different oils and vinegars - we ended up buying the Tuscan Herb oil and the Fig Vinegar. Had fun trying all the flavors.
We went at the end of the season, so there wasn't much to see beyond the tasting room (the milling area was closed) but in the summer there's a bit more.

It was my fourth time in Ojai Olive Oil Farm.
I must say, the flavors of their oils and vinegars are absolutely divine.
My top picks includes:
- Venigar Peach
- Vinegar Espresso
- Vinegar Fig
- Garlic Oil
- Tuscan Herb Oil
- Lemon Oil
While they do provide bread for dipping, I suggest bringing your own French baguette for an even better experience.
You can also enhance your visit by bringing along cheese, wine, and your own tablecloth, making it a truly perfect outing.

Its easy to locate if you exactly follow the directions mentioned in the website. It's a beautiful place ,so calm and relaxing. It has tasting room where you could try a variety of olive oil and balsamic vinegar.I will recommend to carry some good bread . It's a family owned business and they are very friendly. The harvest season is in Nov and that is when we could see the oil extraction process. I would definitely love to visit this place again.

We learned a lot & had a beautiful day sitting under the olive trees tasting the oils & vinegars. The woman running the tasting room was so kind; we brought home raspberry infused balsamic & their signature olive oil. HAd a great time. We'll be back!

They give you a piece of bread and an ice cube tray to handle all the 20 something different oils and vinegars for $10 a person. They’re dog friendly and also have a small enclosure for dogs to hang. Tons of seating and everything tastes amazing.
Nice farmers market in Ojai. The fruits and vegetables here are extremely fresh and very good! They have some other unique items like handwoven bags, hot sauces, olive oils, etc. It’s only on Sundays but if you’re in the area definitely worth a visit. Just make sure to bring cash as some of them don’t take credit cards.

This is really the most aesthetic farmers' market in the area. Really nice selection of fruits and vegetables from many of the area farms, most of which are organically grown. There is also a good variety of handmade goods. Beautiful market. Great place to bring out of town visitors.

What a great farmers market! So glad we stopped. The selection of fruits and veggies was amazing with sins of the biggest artichokes I’ve seen. Breads, honey, pistachios 😋

Omg amazing! Perfect produce in the height of freshness! Ate a 1/2 pint of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries each in 2 days! So amazing and sweet. The citrus was to die for just wished I could have taken more back home on the plane. Also got some freshly roasted coffee.

The produce is great and the people are AWSOME. Very friendly and informative about their products. We are not lical, but found many items to bring home including lavender, olive oil, wood crafts, Apples, papayas and much more. We also saw cheese, fresh chicken and eggs. Oh, and of course great flowers!
There is a public parking lot across the street. The market is held on Sunday morning and closes by 1pm.

Would be 5 stars except for the poem guy (how is that farm related?) Gorgeous if slightly high priced flowers.
Serena Todd — Google review
Lovely selection of farmers some from right here in the Ojai Valley. One may find, in addition to fresh vegetables and fruits in season, fresh flowers from more than one vendor (the grower from Carpinteria has a great selection. Other vendors offer flowers in addition to other things.); honey, a few meat and poultry sellers (top notch), olive oil, eggs, baked goods - BreadLok from Santa Monica generously drives up to vend at this FM. Their's is a gluten free bakery and oh so wonderful - fav is the olive bread and that lavender dessert cake! Trying the focacia this time. Anticipating greatness. Stepladder creamery comes down from Cambria with excellent cheese. Goat and cow. Grooving on Cabrillo right now (manchego like). There's even a coffee roaster selling beans (not coffee to drink). BTW, it's all open now without capacity limits. Honestly not crowded at all when I went. Masks are still required (writing this review April 2021 while pandemic still in play. Obviously, things may be different in a few months). So grateful to have such a blessed FM.

The Ojai Meadows Preserve - Hwy 33 Entrance is a protected area that offers a delightful hike with scenic views. It features well-maintained walking trails, a plant nursery, and an abundance of spring wildflowers. The preserve is flat and accessible for children and the elderly but also provides options for those seeking more challenging hikes. Visitors should be aware that horses frequently use the trail, hence it's recommended to keep dogs on a leash.

The Beatrice Wood Center for the Arts lies on the outskirts of Ojai Amid a breathtaking mountainous setting. The Center exhibits Beatrice Wood's master works in Ceramics. Her travels, especially to India, are evident in the Center's display of portions of her extraordinary collection of Indian Folk Art. Fascinating glimpses of her exceptional life can be read from photos and documents displayed in historic house fashion in one section of the Center. Far from just being about Wood, the Center celebrates the best in ceramic work by other artists too. One of the exhibitions on view at the time of my visit was The Presidents' Show a showcase for The American Ceramic Society of Southern California (ACS SoCA) the premier ceramic artists' organization in Southern California . The Beatrice Wood Center for the Arts also showcases different kinds of art by diverse artists. Perhaps with a leaning towards Beado's love of Indian Folk Art , I came to visit the Center this time to view the new exhibition of Gond Art a tribal form of Indian painting done by individual artists in Ink and Acrylic Paint. The works are drawn from the mythological stories of one of the largest tribes in India with whom it shares its name. The works are compelling, mysterious and beautiful.
In addition to the visual explosion of delights there is much more to be found at the Beatrice Wood Center for the Arts . The Center boasts one of the most ambitious and diverse educational programs I have ever encountered at a small arts organization.. They offer a full range of lectures, performances, workshops, classes for adults and children and internships too. What is utterly amazing is that this whole operation is run on a virtual shoestring. It is in the words of the Center's Director ,Kevin Wallace (noted artist, author, curator, & 'magician'), " a labor of love". There is no endowment, no staff really, most instruction is done for the love of the craft by seasoned professionals who believe in the vision of the place.
Rounding out all of this wonder is a great SHOPPING EXPERIENCE! Since Beatrice Wood was so prolific, there is a rich secondary market of her work for sale at the Center and there are many exquisite pieces for sale
.The Center Store sells some of her matted and framed droll, wonderful drawings as well as lovely ceramic works by a number of regionally and nationally known ceramicists. Other types of original art are also sold in the store. There is an interesting variety of art related books available to buy as well. Visit The Beatrice Wood Center for the Arts, the setting called aptly called Happy Valley ( another story) is magnificent. In popular culture the name Shangri-La has attached itself to the Ojai Valley since the 1937 film Lost Horizon. If you are searching for a Shangri-La of the Arts in Ojai take a journey to the Beatrice Wood Center for the Arts. You will find it there!

Beautiful hike. I am staying in Ojai for the month of February 2022 and this hike was recommended by a neighbor. Great area. About 70 degrees around noon on a Saturday, with very little people on the trail. Wonderful flowers and birds. I swear I saw about 50 little lizards. They are harmless and run from you. I would recommend this hike to anyone, just keep in mind lots of switchbacks. Enjoy!

Such a fun experience! The staff was extremely friendly and fun, and helped us try several wines. She also gave us a lovely list of things to do while on vacation to Ojai from Ohio. I'm sorry we forget her name (Otis's mom!), but she was fantastic and so was the wine and atmosphere!

I’d like to give a review on the wine, but we’ll never know. As soon as we walked in, we got attitude from a blonde lady behind the counter, so we just turned around and left. It was our first time visiting Ojai and our first stop on the trip, so it was bummer and left a bad taste in our mouth. Fortunately we went around the corner to Majestic and up the street to Casa Barranca where they were much more friendly and inviting, and the wine was very good.

Thank you, Charlie, for your excellent service, especially when my mother started explaining the rules of Codenames to you and then went on to explain in detail the clue I had given her in the previous round which was a very specific inside joke referring to her family name, leprechauns, and ghost stories. You are a gem of a person.
I enjoyed the buttery Chardonnay and I don’t usually enjoy chards as a general rule. Same with the rosé - not generally my cup of tea, but it was perfect. Pure, unadulterated rosé. Just like the dinosaurs did it.
Some of the best bathroom experiences I’ve ever had. Truly splendid. I would go again just to chill in there. Also, using grape vine roots as art is possibly my new favorite thing. I’m all for uplifting nature as art and incorporating organic materials into indoor surroundings. Nailed it.

As a big fan of Central Coast Syrah I've wanted to visit the Ojai Vineyard for quite awhile. The journey is much more difficult then say simply driving to Santa Barbara and having many tasting rooms in one vicinity. I'm happy to say the drive was worth it . After trying a number of wines and chatting up the staff I was offered a 3 ring binder of the very extensive list of library wines available for purchase. One could easily spend hours searching the wines of the catalog, researching and trying to find something very unique and interesting . There's so much more to Ojai then just simply trying current releases. They were pouring a couple 2010s that day and I also really enjoyed trying their late harvest Riesling.

Nice ambiance and we like the grape vines climbing the side of the building. We got the red wine and the library tastings. The wine doesn’t have much flavor, but they are darn good at making loquacious descriptions for the wines (see image… writer deserves a Pulitzer). Good quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of the main strip, but I can’t recommend the wine itself.

We saw Toad The Wet Sprocket in the Libbey Bowl. It's in the heart of Ojai, CA, in the middle of a sweet park. They sell wine, beer, and water. It's pretty and green. The concert venue was comfortable and everywhere you sit is a good seat. Dancing is encouraged. The night we went it was exceptionally warm. So dress in layers, you never know how the weather will be. Ojai is a tiny town with lots of unique shops and eateries. It's about 45-60 minutes from Santa Barbara depending on traffic conditions. Ah The majestic oak. It looks great but the leaves we're old in the season falling like drinks into the planter. Maybe earlier in the season when the leaves are newer. Never saw staff in the garden area. My conversation with the person on Duty was do you have and water? Answer: It's over in the corner. They must be working very hard to be that tired. But the staff was very quick when it came to payment for the tasting. I think I will pass on a return visit.

Let me start when the ambiance. The sunken downstairs testing area is surrounded by trees. It has a cozy comfort to it. Perfect for a date. Its qiuet and not noisy. The staff are amazing. The bring out some of the most tasty wines. I used to a French Bordeaux wine drinker, and this place converted to a California Cabernet and Sryah fan. The wines are delicious and recommend this place. You go solo or with a date, or GF/BF and I promise you will have a great time. After the wine tasting, you can head out for some fine dinning in Downtown Ventura at Casa Bella, and if you have a little bit of time left, head to the Ventura boardwalk to catch a glimpse of the sunset. Ok.....I dig the Majestic Oak wines, and on your way out, pick one of their aromatic candles. I promise you will love the place.

Wine was fine. Problem is the server spilled wine every pour, including on my girlfriend’s lap and phone, and the idea of discounting the tasting due to the wine-covered lap was deemed ridiculous. They also charge a credit card fee.
Wonderful place to hike. The river is flowing beautifully. Parking is a little tight, but there's plenty of parking on the street.
Coyotes are out and active especially around sunset.
Also remember to keep your furry friends leashed because of coyotes and because your dog can spook the horses and cause a rider to get bucked off. They think its a wild animal
