The Plains Art Museum, located in downtown Fargo, showcases a variety of artwork ranging from traditional American Indian and folk art to contemporary pieces on a national and regional scale. The museum also hosts programs and lectures for visitors to participate in. The space is unique and pleasantly surprising for those who visit, with free admission available. Additionally, the local artist show features some amazing artwork that can be purchased as well.
Wedding venue review- we had our wedding here and 10/10 would recommend! The staff was great to work with and awesome at communicating and answering all of my questions. The venue itself is gorgeous and we only had to put some decorations on the tables, no draping of ugly wall or covering things up. I wasn't sure how having the 3 levels would work out, but we had our cocktail hour on the first floor, dinner on the third, and back to the first floor for the dance! It worked out really well to have the 3 floors, as we could start taking down decorations after dinner was over! The staff even helped take down a lot of decorations, which made cleaning up at the end of the night a breeze! We also were able to decorate the day before, which was super helpful! The location was great, right in down town, with lots of other bars and restaurants near by that guests went to after the wedding was over.

We decided to adventure around town last year and checked out the Plains Art Museum. I loved the exhibits in this museum and found a big art piece of a can really cool including the contents. I loved the older post cards too. We loved the building and the cute gift shop too! Hoping to get back here on one of our visits. :)

It is not a large museum but don't let that stop you. It is still full of new, different and unique pieces that you're not going to see elsewhere. I was here for an hour on a peaceful Sunday morning, just about the only patron. So it was quiet and reflective.
I particularly enjoyed the "Jacqueline Kennedy" by Andy Warhol (1965) screenprint. But there is plenty more in all sorts of different media. Quite interesting and since the admission is free, you have no excuse!

I went to the art museum while here in Fargo today and was glad it was open at night. it was amazing something made me go there and I’m glad I did. The staff was very nice and Hazel Belvo’s works were some of my favorite. I actually bought a book about some of her art in the gift shop.

Great little art museum in downtown Fargo, free admission and a really neat space!

It's a bit on the smaller side but definitely a lot larger than I thought Compared to art museums in the Minneapolis area. I've been told it's an ever-changing art gallery and this is my first time time.

The building itself was so cool. I enjoyed looking at all of the art on the 3 floors. I would definitely go back. I had a flight to catch, so it was a quick walk through.

What a gem! I had no intention of spending time in an art museum today but I was walking by and they have free admission so I popped in to check it out. Not a huge space but absolutely worth the time I spent. The upstairs exhibit (Gerald Cournoyer) was so gorgeous and moving. Highly recommend coming to see it while it’s still here. Loved seeing the small gallery of local youth art too. The kids are alright. 💓

Our family loves this small museum. They are family friendly and have kids events. They also host balls, lunches, dinners and other community events that we always enjoy. The staff is friendly. The place is clean. The art is interesting. Sometimes a bit crazy but fun.

What a treasure in Fargo. I learned about some inspiring artists, and they have a great room for kids to unwind too if their attention span dwindles.

I was presently surprised by this museum. My expectations were low, but they had a nice variety of art work and it was larger than I expected. The galleries were well put together and easy to view all exhibits. It’s definitely worth a stop.

Smaller sized museum with three exhibition halls (one on each level) and a separate space over a skybridge. Current exhibition mainly focused on art by women, but another exhibition focused on non-visual art. Overall, I found it to be well curated.
When you visit Fargo-Moorhead, make sure to stop by the visitors center where you can see a replica woodchipper outside and the actual official woodchipper from the movie "Fargo" inside. The visitor's center also offers clean restrooms, free coffee, and plenty of brochures about local attractions. Fans of the movie or TV series will find it a must-see with autographs from the Coen Brothers.
North Dakota Welcome Center Walk of Fame
This is a great place to stop and stretch your legs and walk around and see the famous wood chipper from the movie Fargo or at least a replica. My understanding is the real one is located in the building building but was closed when we visited
N M — Google review
There is a replica woodchipper outside but inside the visitors center is the actual official woodchipper from the movie. You'll know it's legit because the one inside has autographs from the Coen Brothers who made the movie Fargo that starred William H. Macy and Steve Buscemi and Frances McDormand.
And once you've gotten those pictures out of the way, the visitor's center has a super clean restroom, free coffee and all the brochures about the area including the museums, the hotels and the attractions.

Definitely the highlight of Fargo was stopping at the visitors center here. We prepared the night before by watching the film Fargo. We spoke to Wynne here and she had a lot of knowledge.
Of course you have to take photos with the wood chippers :) they had some memorabilia from the movie as well.
You can pick up a booklet of where to find the painted Bison 🦬 around the city as well, they’re all painted very uniquely.

They have the famous wood shredder from the movie Fargo
It's a cute little miniature.
It also has electric car chargers and a dog area that almost always has bags.
The doggie bags or wait over in the corner of the parking lot right next to the back of Holiday. Another one of my favorites

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great recommendations for my day trip.
Besides an obvious pricing in an outdoor field in 2023, the stadium is fantastic & clean, events during the game are fantastic, food selection is actually quite decent. Super exciting to be near all of the hype, and Hawkeye was fantastic for all of the kids around us.

It's a great baseball field. Lots of fun things going on for the kids. Anyone thinking about going there for a birthday celebration for a child, should look into the family pack for Birthdays. It includes tickets, a hotdog and chips and a drink meal for everyone and doughnuts as well. They provide seating at a table on the 3 Rd base side close to the Redhawks dugout. Kids can get player autographs.
They also announce the birthday kids over the Microphone and put their names up on the Jimbotron.
I had 2 Grandsons that were born on the same day 6 years ago and they had a BLAST!!

The Red Hawks provide some quality baseball action at a reasonable price. Newman Field is a cozy but spacious venue with ample, low-cost parking. Plenty of food options w/ prices just slightly more $'s than McDs. The park is definitely kid-friendly, with a large playground within the 🏟️, a friendly, active mascot, and multiple t-shirt tosses during games.

The venue is great for enjoying a ball game, but the closest parking is a half mile away and you should eat before you arrive, since the main concessions are so slow that you will starve and/or miss most of the game before getting food.

On our visit to Fargo we were pleasantly surprised to find a b ball game that very night. The redhawks played the milkmen in a very exciting game. The field was beautiful and had many amenities to choose from for dinner selections. Easy to see all the action. A family friendly time. Make sure and check out the university campus while there.

Redhawks games are great! Affordable tickets and food (which is delicious) and a great place to bring kids!
The Red River Zoo, formerly a ranch, houses over 300 animals from similar climates including red pandas and meerkats. It is a small zoo with interactive play areas and farm animal attractions that are kid-friendly. Although visitors should not expect a large facility, the staff is pleasant and accommodating. However, some attractions may be closed during colder months.
Appreciating this zoo is all about proper expectations. It’s cute. Not big. Staff is very nice. Kid friendly with interactive play areas. My 10 and 7 year old loved the farm animals and attractions but I’m not sure a rural/local family would have the same experience. We did everything in about 90 minutes on a cold April day when nobody else was in the park. $40 for a family of four.

This was such a cute little zoo! Had it not been so cold, we would've spent more time there! We were very surprised to see lots of indoor viewing places that were nice and warm and had bathrooms! The animals were very interactive! A wolf came running towards us like a puppy and seemed to want our attention! For as small as it is, it's beautiful and charming, and I recommend this to anyone! Sometimes less is more; and I mean that you can spend so much more time enjoying the scenery and animals! Rare ones at that! We truly enjoyed this zoo more than was anticipated! If we ever end up in Fargo again, we'll be sure to come again! Thanks so much!

I love to visit zoos!! I liked this zoo. It's small. When we first walked in the immediate 2 enclosures were missing their animals. The fox's were asleep. Not a good start. Also I was excited to ride the carousel and it was closed for maintenance. What?? We walked into the building and there was just a girl sitting there like a bump on a log. NO workers working on the carousel! On a positive note I really enjoyed seeing the endangered animals and the work that the zoo is doing to protect them. Worth the visit? I guess yes.
Cynthia Liss — Google review
It was really hot the day we visited this zoo. However, they had areas that were well shaded. There were a couple of buildings that were airconditioned. The zoo was pretty well laid out. We paid extra to do the Red Panda experience. Totally worth it! They also have some animals that you don't see in all zoos. You can get through the zoo in about 1 to 1-1/2 hours. Enjoyed walking through this zoo.

This is a fantastic zoo. It has an amazing variety of interesting animals I've not seen in much larger zoos. Their curation is phenomenal.

The Red River Zoo might not be the largest, but it is very well laid out and has a fun assortment of animals! They also have a petting zoo where you can feed alpaca, goats, and a cow (though she wasn’t feeling very sociable on the day we visited, lol)! They also do a LOT of conservation work that I never would have expected. Definitely a good way to spend an afternoon! I would recommend going in spring or fall, as during summer it’s very hot and most animals seemed content to sleep away the heat, but it was very fun nevertheless.

Great family zoo.
Small, easily walkable footprint.
Generally well maintained.
Knowledgeable staff.
Paper handouts didn’t list daily educational programs or “feeding” programs.
Several animal habitats didn’t match the paper handout - moved or missing altogether.
Wished the demonstration prairie garden out front and Asian interior garden plants were labeled.
Wished for shade - trees in the parking lot.

Beware of the Merry-go-round. It will ruin your visit.
Would love to praise and give a high rating, because for a zoo in a small city it is really nice.
However, the visit to merry-go-round at the end was not merry at all and ruined our day. The ride is sponsored by I assume is a local family and they either hate kids, or would be appalled with how something with their name on it is being ran.
After spending $3 a kid to ride (which is ridiculous on it's own) the little girl operating it stopped it right away and told us we had to get off because one of our kids was crying. Thou shall not cry on their very important ride apparently. Our other two kids were devastated, which naturally lead to them crying. It tainted what was a great family vacation.
For further context the crying child was actually not crying but screaming with glee because he loved it so much. Even if he was crying, that is no reason to kick a kid off a merry-go-round. Young kids cry... Always! Happy, sad, hurt, excited. They are always crying. Trust me. You can't stop life for a crying child.
Disney has the most strict standards for these kinds of things and they wouldn't stop the carousal for a screaming kid. (We have family that works there, we asked them and they laughed at how stupid the idea is).
Get over yourselves power tripping teenagers running the ride and just let parents parent our children. Believe me, if there was a problem I don't know any parents that wouldn't address it better than you can. I don't need you telling my kid he can't cry.
Brian Hirsche — Google review
It's a cute little zoo and pretty well maintained.
There's not a ton of diversity but it did advertise that it houses animals from similar climates so don't expect to see lions or polar bears. There are some unique animals like the Pallas Cats and the Takin. For the price I feel like we definitely got our money's worth. It was $50 for two adults and two children.
The discovery barn and farmyard animals are always a hit, the kids love feeding the goats and alpacas.
There's a couple different playgrounds to take breaks.
There was only one food vendor that we saw but had easy okay options like tacos in a bag, uncrustables, etc.
Almost everything is outside but there are a few different buildings to get out of the heat.
With two younger kids (5 & 4) I felt like this zoo was the perfect size, we were able to see everything and take our time in 2 hours with a break for food.
Heidi Cook (Heidilynnxx) — Google review
Cute and quaint zoo in Fargo. Price was reasonable and the indoor carousel was an added bonus (only $3/person to ride). Good variety of animals. It had rained the night before so the play area was wet and dirty but otherwise looked good for kids.

Super fun zoo! Had a great experience here. The keepers were so helpful and kind, they clearly love their animals so much. Love to see that in a zoo. Absolutely beautiful grounds, with a fantastic staff, couldn’t ask for anything more. Would definitely recommend bringing your family here. And I got to see my tattoo in person! So fun! 10/10
The Fargo Air Museum is a collection of vintage and modern aircraft, engines, and related exhibits housed in two hangars. The display boasts of a variety of aircraft ranging from crop dusters to training planes, including replicas of the Wright brothers' plane and WWII planes. While there is no specific theme, the museum is well-maintained with friendly staff. Though the full price may seem high for what's on offer, there are various reduced prices that make it more affordable.
We went for the Fargo AirSho and I was so happy with the experience. The staff was so friendly, the drink coolers were constantly stocked, the food for our chalet was really good too! The museum is also really nice inside. So many cool planes and exhibits. Highly recommend.

At first we were skeptical about this museum. It didn't look large enough. Then we learned there is another building full of planes and it made more sense :)
The museum covers local history a lot so it's important for locals.
We were thrilled to see Yuri Gagarin's picture and handwritten letter as well as items he had with him during his missions he gifted to his friend. There was a letter from another Russian cosmonaut in there. Overall we had a good experience there!

This is a rather unique museum. Overall I enjoyed it a lot. I had thought this would be an adventure of several hours. As it turned out, we pretty well seeing the place in about an hour and a half. They have some amazing aircraft as well as very interesting history. I could not get the phone based tour to work. In fact there were only a couple of interactive things that functioned the day I was there. Still, getting to see the aircraft up close is quite fun and informative. I would have liked to have seen the cockpit of many of the planes, but that was not possible and photos of such were not on display.

Nice place to visit. There are two hangars with about a dozen planes with no real theme. They have a Wright brothers replica. A couple of WWII planes. Crop dusters. Training planes. It's a hodgepodge collection, but the place is neat and the folks are friendly. The full price is a bit high for what there is to see, but the various reduced prices are more in line. Plan on one hour.

Always on the lookout for museums near truck stops and this was 5 miles north of the Loves in Fargo and where I delivered a trailer. Was able to get my truck (no trailer) in parking lot. One of the smaller air museums in my travels but still totally worth checking out.

It’s not huge but it’s a really great aviation museum. Highly recommended. All the planes are in exceptional condition and they do a really nice job of keeping them up. They even have a really cool library on the second floor. If you were interested in aviation, then you got a stop on by.
James Christie — Google review
A smaller air museum with a handful of planes through they are well cared for and on display. There are some interesting aircraft for any aviation buff including an MQ-1 Predator drone, a 1981 L-39 Albatross trainer, a Cessna L-19 Bird Dog, a Grumman TBF Avenger (with folded wings!), and more. They are spread across two large hangars and I happened to catch a kids outing with several children under the care of one of the volunteers.
The museum also includes a large display of memorabilia and mementoes and newspaper cutouts of Fargo history and the service of those from the area. A small gift shop completes the museum.
Tip: Check the local sports schedule. When the Fargodome is in use, they're selling parking in the lot here. You'll be on the street a block or four away.

West Acres Mall is a large shopping complex with an impressive selection of over 100 shops, including department stores and local art venues. The mall boasts a pleasant atmosphere, always decorated nicely and kept clean. Visitors can enjoy walking around the cute little mall while grabbing something to eat at the spacious and comfortable food court. With great shopping options in relation to the size of the city, West Acres Mall is always busy but never overly packed or too busy for visitors to get help from helpful staff members.
West acres has upgraded their seating in several areas. Making it to resemble a European Cafe in one area and just a relaxing oasis of sorts. I didn't make it to the fountain area by jc penny's. Looks like a variety of newer establishments and lots of old favorites. Carmel rolls and bites are always a treat when strolling though the endless retail fixtures. Lots of people, young and old, students and senior citizens. Love the mix and the socialization.

Our first time at this mall in n your trip from Canada to North Dakota USA.
Mall has everything one can expect from any mall in North America. From big box stores to small individual outlets and everything in between.
We were there on Saturday April 22, 2023. Mall was very busy. Good thing that they have many rest areas with comfortable seating.
There is a play area for kids which is very useful I guess. Food court was big but lacks variety.
Enough parking outside.
Worth a visit if you’re in the city. But don’t expect anything different then any other malls in North America.

A little run down but there's certainly effort being placed into being asthetically appealing. The space gives off a whimsical and artistic vibe. The space is open and relaxing. FARGODOME is an indoor stadium located at the North Dakota State University campus, which hosts a variety of events such as games, concerts featuring renowned artists like Elton John on his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour in 2022, monster truck rallies and theater performances. The venue offers easy access to nearby accommodation options and parking for visitors at affordable rates. The atmosphere during NDSU football games is electrifying and akin to attending both a rock concert and a football match simultaneously.
Best part is that I was able to stay in the hotel just past the parking lot. The weather was DISMAL but Shinedown on 4/6/22 was excellent! Was glad to be able to enter through the closest door because, like I said, it was dismal weather.

I recently attended an event at the Fargodome, and while the venue itself was impressive and well-maintained, I feel there are a couple of areas that could be improved. As a parent of an athlete who had to weigh in several days before his competition, I found the lack of healthier food options concerning. It would be beneficial if the Fargodome could offer more nutritious choices to accommodate athletes and their specific dietary needs during events.
Additionally, I was disappointed to encounter an issue with one of the staff members. Jason from administration was, unfortunately, quite rude during my interaction with him. As a visitor to the facility, I expect professionalism and respect from the staff, and this experience fell short of those expectations.
Overall, the Fargodome provides a spacious and well-equipped venue, but addressing the concerns related to healthier food options for athletes and improving staff courtesy would enhance the overall experience for visitors and event participants alike.

The Roger Maris Museum is a fascinating exhibition that showcases the remarkable career of the legendary New York Yankees outfielder and slugger. The museum features an impressive collection of videos and memorabilia, providing visitors with a unique insight into Maris' life and achievements. Exhibits include stadium seats, window displays, and other baseball artifacts that document the rich history of this iconic sport.
There are so many interesting items to see and help visitors learn about Roger's life and career that I've stopped here three times while on different trips to/through Fargo.
A nice video about Roger's career plays in the small theater, and an impressive collection of his awards and memorabilia is there for all to enjoy--for free. It's definitely worth a visit when you're in the area!

A very nice surprise I found while in the mall. I didn't go to the mall expecting to find a museum but I'm glad I did. They had everything Roger Maris related. It is a very nice tribute to him. I'm glad I stumbled upon thas exhibit. There's also a little movie room where you can learn more, and there's a whole bunch of baseball memorabilia on display. Overall a great experience.

This is a perfect little museum that includes a great selection of memorabilia and a short video that you can watch from the "stands" in a small room that opens off the mall corridor. I was surprised to find the museum wasn't in a separate space, but rather along one wall in the mall. But unlike another reviewer, I loved this because the layout makes the material more accessible.

Today was our first time back to West Acres and to the Museum since 1997. It is really a neat thing to visit and they have done a great job displaying the pieces of Roger's history!

Accessible whenever the mall is open and it's completely free. Who doesn't know the story of Roger Maris, who broke Babe Ruth's home run record in 1961? This museum is on one of the hallways in the West Acres Mall and includes a small seating area (with baseball stadium seats from Yankee Stadium) and a looped video.
Maris a native of Hibbing Minnesota, was all class and only agreed to have this museum available if there was no charge as he did not feel it was right to capitalize on his success. So this was built in 1984 and remodeled in 2003.
Viewing the memorabilia and watching the films is perhaps a half hour. Worth checking it out for any baseball fan.

As a travel enthusiast and history buff, this place truly exceeded my expectations.
The museum is a delightful tribute to the legendary baseball player, Roger Maris. The moment I stepped inside, I was immediately immersed in his fascinating journey to greatness.
The collection of artifacts, memorabilia, and photographs was beautifully curated, offering a profound insight into his life and achievements. For any sports lover, this place is an absolute must-visit!
If you're visiting North Dakota or passing through the area, I highly recommend adding the Roget Maris Museum to your itinerary. It's an experience that seamlessly blends sports history and local heritage.

Drekker Brewing Company offers a cool aesthetic with a food truck outside. While they don't serve food, customers can bring their own. The variety of drinks and the overall atmosphere are impressive, despite the somewhat limited drink options. Prices may be on the higher side, but for many, it's worth it. The brewery provides a great place to enjoy beer or Eye Scream with friendly staff and plenty of choices available. Customers particularly rave about the new Barbie Pink Eye Scream option.
My first time at Drekker. I've been wanting to check out their bldg. Got to say very cool. The outside seating area
(Where we sat) was nicely laid out, and quite a bit of seating. I tried a pale ale, I'm not a big fan of IPA's, it was OK. Next time I'll try the German beer. My wife had the strawberry cheese cake eye scream, she and I both thought it was excellent. It's a 6% ice-cream. Can't wait the go again and try something else.

One of the coolest aesthetic sights I've seen. Food truck outside was bangin'! I was told they don't serve food, but you can bring your own in (this was by a friend, not the establishment). The drinks and area were awesome. I was a bit surprised that it seemed like I could only get like maybe 10 different varieties of drink, but they were enough for what I wanted. Bit pricy but worth it, for my goals. For example, a 4 pack of 16 ounce to go beverages were in the $20-$22 range, so about $5 for a single 16oz can. How you feel about that price is probably determined by your situation.

Drekker is a fabulous brewery! After living in Fargo several years I had always heard about this place but never went. And yeah, now that I have been I regret not going sooner because it’s so cool!
It’s a bit of a hidden place, yet Drekker is very spacious inside. There’s a lovely outdoor patio area as well as an upstairs loft. Along with the many sours and beers on tap they also have pin ball machines and other games to keep you entertained.
If you’re a fan at all of more fruity drinks that are sours and seltzers, this is the place for you. That’s the vast majority of what Drekker serves. They have a few blonde ales that I can remember but most of it is colorful and tart, just like the cover art for each option. They even serve slushee sours which are a huge hit.
There’s tons of seating both inside and outside so this is a perfect place to hang out with friends or family and have a great time. Also, if you do geocaching there’s a special Drekker one to be found! :)

The Fargo Marathon is an excellent, well-organized event with a mostly flat and fast course. The race kit pickup is easy, and the expo is enjoyable. The volunteers are spectacular, and the community comes out in full force to cheer on the runners. With bands and DJs along the route, it's a favorite event for many. It's a great family-friendly event that caters to everyone from fun runners to serious marathoners, including dogs in the mix as well.
Excellent event. We'll organized. Spectacular volunteers. Mostly flat, fast course. Easy race kit pickup. I liked the expo. Everyone is so friendly. The public come out in full force to cheer on the runners. Bands and dj's are everywhere! My favorite event so far. Full or half!

The Fargo Marathon was an unexpected surprise. My expectations for North Dakota were embarrassing low and this race exceed expectations. The start/finish in the FargoDome was an interesting twist. Depending on your COVID comfort, the start could be uncomfortable for some. It was a mass start inside with no mask requirement. The race course is flat, beautiful, and well organized. From the back of the pack perspective, there were a few things to note. I finished in 6 hours. The course limit is 7. On the back half of the race, bands were breaking down as we went by or gone completely. The beer and Sandy's Donuts had run out by the time we finished. This was true of people that finished around the 4 hour mark as well. I was very excited to get both. Overall, I would highly recommend this race to anyone going for 50 states and needs North Dakota. The charm of the experience is Fargo itself. Great restaurants, breweries, and boutiques.

I like attending here. People are really nice, lots of professors have tons of resources available for students to do their best work and improve themselves. However, I personally believe the parking situation here is absolutely abysmal. Commuter students and dorm students can park in the same lot, which means the lots are almost completely full by noon everyday and commuters have to park much farther. On top of that, you pay almost 200$ every year so you can walk over 15 minutes in harsh winter temps to your classes. They have lots closer to the buildings, but they completely doubled the prices to park in those lots. Last year I could afford a 5$ parking fee for the day if it was too cold or I was running late to class. This year it's closer to 10-15$ to park for the day, which is insane considering all the other fees we get charged with. They should really focus the money going towards students and faculty, but sadly all anyone cares about here is sports and it shows.

NDSU is By far the greatest school in the United States Of America. Even as a kid my family had ties to the school. An the only thing keeping me going during middle and high school was being able to go there. I worked so hard to be able to even have a chance to go here. Sadly, due to multiple health issues, I was never able to go. Even so, I still have that Bison pride burning down deep in my heart. And even though I never got to actually attend, I hope I can still be considered an honorary Bison. To anyone going and graduating from here, all I have to say is congratulations. Never lose that NDSU spirit!!

Lindenwood Park is a versatile outdoor space that includes a large, landscaped campground and a playground designed for kids of all abilities. It offers numerous activities such as walking, biking, picnicking, and sightseeing to visitors of all ages. The park also hosts historical attractions and museums for those interested in learning about the town's past. Although older children have been known to run around unsupervised at times, this is more an issue with negligent parents than with the park itself.
Rented a banana bike and two seater bike for my grandkids and myself for an hour. We had a blast. We appreciate how well kept and beautiful the grounds are. The public restrooms are clean.

Lindenwood Park in Fargo may be small, but it’s a serene oasis. During my recent visit, I was struck by its peaceful ambiance and impeccable maintenance, providing a much-needed escape from city life.
The park’s standout feature is the breathtaking display of fall colors, painting the landscape in hues of gold and crimson. It’s the perfect spot to immerse yourself in nature’s stunning transformation during the fall season.
Thoughtful amenities make it an ideal destination for a family outing or a leisurely day outdoors. Picnic shelters and designated grilling spots add to the allure. Dedicated cycling paths cater to biking enthusiasts, offering a safe and enjoyable ride within the park.
For those seeking to stay active, the park provides pleasant spaces for jogging and walking. Well-maintained paths offer a delightful setting to stretch your legs, breathe in the fresh air, and foster a healthier lifestyle. Ample parking ensures a hassle-free visit, enhancing the overall experience.
In conclusion, Lindenwood Park may be compact, but it’s a delightful haven boasting the beauty of fall. If you’re in search of a peaceful environment to revel in the colors of autumn, this hidden gem in Fargo is a must-visit. Unwind and embrace nature’s seasonal charm at Lindenwood Park.

Great park for kids all ages, but gets super busy and crowded and parents are not always playing attention to their kids, especially older kids. The main complaint is the older kids are running around (which is fine) but they are not paying attention to their surroundings or other kids, especially those smaller then them. It's more a parent issue (or lack of) then a park issue.

An excellent municipal park and campground. Camping is available for a reasonable price. My only gripes are the relatively small camping spots (very close together) and the lack of sewer hookups. But for the $$$ those things didn't keep the place from five stars.

Love this park . Kids love it and a huge park big enough to gather with family and friends and have picnics/bbqs, With or without shelter rental. Or simply bring kids to play in thr playgrounds. Spring and summer have the water fountain on and Beautiful colorful flowers. Winter's host holiday lights (not a huge fan personally of but the kids enjoy it). It's also a good cause so we support it annually. They have bike rentals which we enjoy time to time. Beautiful trees throughout the park. Newer lower park and road renovation. Overall, recommend this park to everyone.

Thunder Road is a family-friendly entertainment center that offers a variety of exciting seasonal activities including go karts, bumper cars, batting cages, mini-golf and laser tag. They also have an arcade with numerous games to play and food options available. Thunder Road offers 36 holes of mini golf which is great for anyone who just wants to relax while enjoying the game; their batting cages are well-maintained, although some were out of order when visited.
Best mini-golf course I've been to! Their 2 golf courses, 36 holes total, are very creative, well maintained, and definitely fun! There are a lot of shortcuts, straight putts, and river holes. It's worth checking it out! They also offer an arcade, batting cage, go karts, and bumper cars.

They have so much fun stuff to do at Thunder Road. 36 mini golf holes, batting cages, go karts, bumper cars, laser tag, arcade games, and food. The prices are reasonable for the attraction and the rides aren't super short. They offer specials and wristband deals sometimes, too!
Samantha Y. — Google review
Don’t waste your time on the mini golf if you actually enjoy playing a game of skill. The course is completely luck-based with no skill involved. Every cup is located on a mound about 6 inches in diameter, making short, low-speed putts nearly impossible to make. The greens are incredibly fast with random slants, meaning nearly every putt ends up along the walls of the green. It’s an aesthetically pleasing course, but it’s not a course for the avid mini golfer.

Company outing here was a fun time to team build. I just wish the petals were further for us taller people. My first time doing lazer tag that was cool. I enjoyed the mini golf we killed it. Stopped here on a short road trip into North Dakota. The kids had fun doing go-karts. There was a package that I was able to purchase so they could each get 2 rides. Typical little entertainment park.
Negatives:
The girls at the register just sat and talked to eachother and did not acknowledge customers wanting to purchase tickets and food. The girls also came out by the go karts and were flirting with the boys while they were supposed to be working. Kids had fun on the go karts but they are slow and there needs a be more of a warning to put break on when the turn is over., such as the kid with the checkered flag or a repeat announcement as they approach on the speaker.. All my kids got absolutely slammed into. The last time around my oldest got hit so hard she had to sit down after she exited the track and had a headache and backache for the next couple days. Also, the exit gate was not latched, it was swinging open and no one seemed to car. Very dangerous in the case of a little kid wanders off and decides to go in the track. You would think this would be a #1 priority fix.

The Veterans Memorial Bridge in Fargo is a unique attraction that spans the Red River, connecting Fargo with Moorhead. It serves as a commemoration to all those who have served in the US military, featuring 10 columns representing different branches of the military and various veteran organizations. The bridge offers visitors an opportunity to learn about the history of Fargo and honor the sacrifices made by military personnel.
Beautiful bridge. Awesome it honors veterans. They deserve to be honored. I think this bridge should inform the people who pass by it the who land this belonged to and the people who where killed so the farmers today can farm along the rivers banks, so thr people that are developing the land on the rivers banks. That altho the people using it today did not do it. They are profiting from stolen land. Should tell what was done to the people that where here first so that people can profit from it today. Even tho it was never paid for.

Such a deal! And so much fun! This place is a ton of different "museums " into one: old cars, antique tractors and farm equipment, a historical village and train station to wander through and etc... fun for family!

Such an amazing part of our community if you’re not come here yet, you should check it it out there Preserve the history of our community, but it’s also a great place for events. We just hosted a gallery on the go event here and had the time of our life. Thank you so so much Banville for the hospitality.

My husband and I visited last summer. We arrived very close to closing time, so only had about an hour or so to basically run through the museum. We LOVED it, we were so disappointed not to be able to spend more time (we were leaving Fargo the next morning). It is really amazing the amount of exhibits, buildings, displays, cars, planes, and just EVERYTHING that they have. We are big history buffs so it was right up our alley. We loved it so much, we are actually planning our upcoming vacation around visiting again so we have all day to see the entire place. Can't wait!!

No bad, but could be better. Don't go out of your way but if you are in Fargo its worth a stop. Very cool telephone display exhibit if you like electronics

Cute historical museum with focus primarily on American experience. I love that you can explore at your own pace and it was not very crowded when we went. Our favorite part was the old school telephones that actually worked and seeing the setups of how people used to live back in the day.

This is so much more than just a museum! The Cass County Historical Society has put together a fantastic complex of historical building on this gigantic site! Every building has its own story with several dedicated to specific displays. One building houses law enforcement memorabilia. Another is dedicated to firefighters, their apparatus & lifestyle. Some of the building were moved to the site from all over the area! My favorite by far that the airplane building. It’s not got the most of the best displays but it’s the only place I’ve ever been able to walk through a C-47!! We were there for four hours and didn’t see it all. Well worth the price of admission. It’s a must for anyone interested in the history of the Red River Valley.

Interesting place! I think it has seen better days, but over all it's still a good stop for the sake of history. There is a facinating small courthouse and if you enjoy old tractors and other farm equipment this is the place for you! 😊 Enjoy!

We didn't realize they were in the off season now, so most of the exhibits and buildings were closed. It was free to see what was available though. The exhibits we did see were very nice, with excellent, informative signage. I would definitely like to go back in the regular summer season and see what else there is to see.

This was such an unexpected experience! So much to see and do, including getting to go through a couple of different old trains and an old grain elevator. The museums were so interesting and we loved going through the old houses. I didn't allow enough time to really see everything that was here. Note for next time!

Wish I could have stayed here much longer to see all of the exhibits! This was a great stop we made. I do wish there were a bit more items at the gift shop to choose from. Bathrooms were clean and staff was friendly. My favorite part was the classic car museum.
Island Park Gazebo is a charming spot that's perfect for weddings, with a super cool playground nearby for kids to enjoy. The park offers plenty of space, park benches, and beautiful settings in a peaceful environment. It's also large enough to turn a visit into a little hike, making it an ideal place to spend quality time with your family.
Great for weddings or many other things. Beautiful settings in a peaceful park
