The Hill Aerospace Museum is a free attraction that showcases various planes, missiles, and aerospace gear while educating visitors on the history of the Air Force. It offers clean facilities, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and a gift shop. Although visiting hours are limited until 4:00 pm, it's an excellent place to take boys and learn from veterans who work there. The museum requires masks for visitors' safety but provides an enjoyable experience overall.
What a wonderful way to honor our history! Parking and entrance is free! Clean facilities. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Visiting hours are only until 4:00 pm. They also have a gift shop inside. It was not crowded. You just have to deal with the mask Nazis.

Must see! The Hill Aerospace Museum offers a vast array of all things aerospace plus. From a model of the first working airplane to more modern aircraft, munitions, personal stories of the brave men and women who have fought for our country, detailed display information, a cockpit tour and many larger aircraft that surround the museum. A huge thank you to the many wonderful volunteers for their service to our country and their help in making our experience greater! They can answer your questions, direct you to whatever your looking for, point out hidden gems, offer personal stories, insight and info on current and future features. I took 3 boys aged 5-7 and it kept their attention for over two hours. Entry is free but donations are encouraged throughout the museum with convenient donations boxes. We will return to learn more about our countries past through this thoughtful and beautifully curated museum.

Very cool museum with a lot to see and read. Wish we would have had more time here! If you’re a fan of planes and aerospace craft, and even if you’re not! It’s free but donations are welcome! Great place for anyone! Awesome place to take kids to!

This place is incredible! You only get a little glimpse of it from the freeway, but the second you enter, you realize this place is way cooler than you expected! First, they have an SR-71 inside this place! The first stealth plane that flew at 80,000 and could take photographs while flying at mach 3! SUPER COOL!!
Next, they have literally hundreds of things to look at including F-16s, an A-10, missiles, bombs, literally, more than 50 full size fighter jets, airplanes, helicopters, and more. You could spend hours here and it only feels like minutes! Plus, they are continuing to develop "Experiences" that let you go inside airplanes, missile silos (replace scaled down) and more. It's just amazing what they have here.

I was beyond impressed with this museum.
I know good aerospace museums that would easily charge $30+ for tickets to see these kinds of aircraft. I was extremely surprised to see that admission was free and there were way more aircraft than I had expected. For the average citizen, they might not realize how great this place is unfortunately. The only one I've been to that tops it is the Smithsonian in DC, and well, they are hard to beat. Great job.
Overall it is an amazing museum. Will be back again.

Incredible! So many airplanes. I could've spent all day here and then some. Went while visiting Salt Lake City and was well worth the visit. Outdoor area with larger planes and two large indoor museum spaces. Helpful staff, as well.

This museum was really amazing and a must if your in the area. Also call ahead for someone to do a tour with you I recommend asking for Kenneth he was wonderful to my family and myself. We didn’t know about the tours but gave us a little history for the time he had before he started a tour with another family and/or school.
I will put some of the pictures that I was able to take and share. It was free to go in but do recommend giving a donation because the up keep as well as seeing these volunteers were well worth it.
Thank you to the volunteers staff and the cute gift shop place too. Thank you to our vets who served and lost there life’s serving our country.

I was visiting Hill in November of 2023 and always make it a point to check out the Air Museums whenever I’m visiting a base thats new to me. Its not very far from the base at all, it wasn’t crowded at all either and every single person we came in contact with was so friendly and welcoming and just happy to have visitors and to educate about all of the different types of aircraft, they really are lovely. Thank you for being so kind and for the wonderful conversations too!
I had fabulous conversations with a few men working there in different areas, I happened to be wearing my U2 Dragonlady sweater and they were so excited to find someone that knew what that plane was lol it was great and we had fun sharing stories from their past and my present life as an Air Force spouse and telling them all about my husband who works with the U2.
The museum was very clean, laid out well and looked like they will be expanding soon and opening another hanger. I was sad that the Fighters weren’t being shown at the time, but I hope to see them one day. Thanks for making my visit a memorable one, I’d definitely come back again!

Great place to take your boys to. The Veterans working there are so sweet and eager to share. 1-2 hours to walk through it all. Cute gift shop. Masks were required.

We loved coming to the museum! They have an outside section with their big airplanes and the older smaller exhibits inside.
They have well written signs about the exhibits and volunteers that can also tell you different stories and background on the exhibits.
The museum is pretty big and is geared more towards school kids and adults. I would bring a stroller for young kids since there is a good amount of walking. They do have a flight simulation that you can reserve for school aged kids and a C-130 you can go inside. We will definitely be back after the construction and addition of new exhibits!
Tiana Farnsworth — Google review
A truly amazing museum. The amount of history here is stunning. They have an abundance of jet planes - everything from fighter jets such as the F-15 and F-16, reconnaissance planes such as the SR-71, bombers and transportation planes, and so much more. The planes come from multiple generations, so you will can see an F-4 and a more modern unmanned drone.
You can also see weapons, sit in a stationary cargo plane, see exhibits of military uniforms and equipment, and there are tons of areas that talk about women in the military, POWs from the Vietnam War, and more.
The museum is free but encourages donations. We left a donation and bought some from the shop to show our support. Even the gift shop has a great selection.
We took a close friend who is an Air Force veteran. Thanks for such a great experience and we will be sure to come again!

The museum has a pretty impressive display of planes and ICBMs. Staff are super friendly and most have worked on airplanes previously so they can provide a lot of insight. The museum is very accessible for wheelchair users, those with mobility impairments, and those with service dogs. Fair amount of walking inside and outside to see the display of planes. Well worth the trip out to see them.
Susan Hardee — Google review
Such an awesome, historic experience! Got to go with my grandfather, who enjoyed every second of it. Between him and the random volunteers walking around I got to learn a lot, and he got to talk to people that understood fully his stories from his days in the Navy. Thank you for this experience.

An amazing exhibition with civil and military aircraft of all kinds.
A large part of the exhibits are covered in a climatized hanger. The bigger ones are outside.
You get a feel of the Cold War when you see the size of B52 and other bombers.
Also, some good history panels re Korea and Vietnam war
It is easy to spend 2-3 hours here, and entrance is free

What a fantastic aerospace museum local to Davis county at Hill AFB!
It was recently shut down for a few short weeks (23 October - 3 November) for some expansion/rearrangement but is back open to the public, albeit with more work in progress with the L.S. Skaggs 'wing' still under construction (as I post this on 4-Nov-2023).
As such, a few of the aircraft are not currently viewable (the SR-71, for example).
Otherwise, it was a bright and cheery day today at the museum and look forward to getting back there soon to check out the expansion when it's done!

Best Military Aviation museum I have visited In US. Its collection was well thought out and comprehensive of obvious military aircraft from important eras in Aviation history. As well as including a significant number of often forgotten important aircraft such cargo and reconnaissance planes which are often not on display or recognised properly in other museums.
Clifford D. Mallory — Google review
This museum has an excellent selection of stunning military aircraft. From the early days of flight, to modern service jets, there's something for you to love. Most planes have an exhibit gors over details of the aircraft and it's history. There is plenty of parking, though it was fairly packed when I visited.

World history is often defined by wars. During the 20th and 21st centuries, aircraft came to play increasingly important roles in determining the outcome of battles as well as being deterrents to aggression. Military aircraft came of age during World War II, and their utility for both military and nonmilitary purposes expanded during the Cold War era and beyond. A list of some of these great planes is given below.

Very informative! Great variety of aircraft. The volunteers were so kind and willing to help give out a plethora of knowledge! Great way to spend the afternoon.
The George S. Eccles Dinosaur Park in Ogden is a 5-acre park that boasts over 100 dinosaur replicas along with an interactive museum offering hands-on activities. Visitors can enjoy the various improvements and updates made to the park, including refreshing the dinosaurs. Children especially love exploring and playing at the playground while older kids enjoy examining the rocks on display. The Grandparent pass allows for unlimited visits with young grandchildren for one year.
We had out sons birthday party in one of the indoor rooms, it was amazing, my son turned 2 and just loved everything, the museum, his birthday geode, the park and activities. Us adults had fun as well. The price was perfect too! They charge you in the end because it's $2 per person and I didn't not pay as much as I thought I would have. Definitely will be doing again 😃

We flew into Salt Lake City before heading up to Yellowstone. My son is really into dinosaurs so we stopped here on our way. He loved it! If you are in the area, you should definitely stop by. The museum has a gallery of rocks and fossils, and skeletons. Outside, they have dino statues along the walk, some of the walk is shaded. There is a playground and a sandy digging spot as well. This place is accessible for persons needed wheelchair access.
The price is very reasonable as well.

My kiddos absolutely love this dinosaur park and it's located so close to home as well. I would recommend you buy the season pass for it makes the price so worth it. I noticed they added a couple new features and they have been updating the color on the dinosaurs so it looks really nice. Keep up the good work guys!!!
April Valladares — Google review
The outside of the park is so cool! Some of the dinosaurs are adorable, and some are terrifying, but they fit well with the mountain view.
The inside museum is interesting and educational. You can see through a window some of the work that goes on in discovering/ assembling fossils. Great for kids and adults!

We had such a great time at The Dinosaur Park. You can tell they are fixing things up and refreshing the dinosaurs. My 3 year old kept saying "guys, stop, look!" He loved it as did my other children. My 11 year old enjoyed looking at all the rocks they have. The play ground was enjoyable for all 4 of my kids. We love the dino park and enjoy seeing the many improvements and updates they do.
Shellsey Stephens — Google review
Fun place to go once or twice a year. They seem to be slowly upgrading/having different events, which is great because it's a fun little place to go that's tucked in mature trees along the river. I wish they had a restaurant that overlooked the river and was accessible from inside & outside the park (hopefully this plants that idea in someone important head). We recently went to the STEM day here, it was so much fun! Best activity besides the Halloween walk so far.

We've been coming to Dinosaur Park since I was a toddler. We try to visit at least once a year- family tradition.
My kids especially love the rock collection inside.
Beware the slide outside during the summer. Feels like liquid magma on little kid legs! 🤣
We'll be back next year!

We are visiting from Washington state and took my 4 year old. Definitely worth the price point. Knowledgeable staff when asked questions and one very energetic staff member who was a blast to listen to. A nice maintained walk outside to realistic casts of dinosaurs (some are older but still great). The inside section was great, better more for adults so I liked that. I also love geods, gem stones, and minerals so upstairs was great too. It is refreshing to see something priced for families. As a suggestions, having the ability to buy tickets for the gem cave and geod cutting by the cave would improve the experience. We arrived right at opening so no waiting to get in but the line grew later.

We took our grandsons to the park and it was very well done and a very fun outing! We didn't take the time to go through the entire museum with 2 little boys, but we really enjoyed the outside park and playground! We purchased the Grandparent pass. It is good for 1 year and allows us to take all of our young grandkids as often as we want.

Fantastic my kids had a blast! They have so many dinosaurs to look at as well as alot of different paths to take so it doesn't get to crowded. They also have a fun playground area that my kids loved! Although I definitely recommend bringing a little cooler or lunch box to bring some cold drinks and snacks.

This museum is great for families with older and younger children. Half of it is outside, so keep that in mind for hotter and cooler days. The outside part is full of Lifesize dinosaur statues and walking paths. These paths are wheelchair accessible but there are hills. There are playgrounds, an area where there are a few live animals, a classroom that anyone can go into, and a duck pond. The inside portion of the museum is made up of two levels, the bottom is about Dinosaurs and the top is minerals and gems. It is a very interactive museum with a lab, an option to open geodes (this costs extra), and an option to dig for semi precious gems (also extra). The top is a gorgeous display of gems and a few animatronic dinosaurs.

Wow! What an incredible outdoor dinosaur 🦖 park and museum. Our budding paleontologists could dig up fossils with brushes in the sand pit. It's a glorious walk in the Ogden outdoors. What I think sets this dino park apart is that each exhibit shares details about the dinosaur WITH information about what more we know now and a QR code to learn the most updated studies related to dinosaurs.
There's a great playground and gift shop after touring the grounds. Be sure the head indoors to the fossil and gem exhibit!
Highly recommend making a stop here!
Lauren Quebedeaux — Google review
This is a classic mainstay for all of your dinosaur adventures! This park has been and continues to be a right of passage for our family - we took our kids and now are taking our grandchildren!
The park is clean and the employees are extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. There are fun interactive activities in the museum. Be careful the animatronics in the 2nd floor might startle you. (18 months found it fascinating NOT scary). The second floor has some amazing gemstones on display - including amber … if they can just extract some Dino DNA.
Taking a stroll for the more than 70 life sized dinosaurs can be as quick or leisurely as you would like. At East end of the park one can find a dinosaurs themed playground.
I would like to have given 5 stars, however, some of the outside features are dilapidated and could be a source of injury.
I would recommend a visit. Bring a picnic and enjoy your day. Parking is adequate with overflow parking west of the Dinosaurs. No pets.

It was a summer weekend, so it took 45 minutes to get through the gate. I recommend going in the morning when it is cooler. It is a good walk with sunny and shaded spots. There are swings/slides for the kids, as well as picnic tables to eat a packed lunch.

I have been coming here for nearly 20 years. My children have gone to camp here learning about becoming a paleontologist or an archaeologist. They enjoy watching the people clean and preserve fossils. The playground definitely needs a little TLC, but overall, I thoroughly enjoy coming here. I would post more pictures but a lot of them have my nieces in them and I don't want to post without parent permission. It is well worth the price you pay to go here. Very interesting. Very informative. Animatronics are cute. They dress them up for Christmas:)

Great museum! The Dino’s are well curated and seeing actual fossils instead of all casts was really interesting. Huge outdoor areas are so cool. Backdrop against the mountains is worth admission alone.
Bring warm clothes in winter! It’s cold!!!

I've not done the park at night- super fun for the kids family friendly for halloween. Beautiful lights! Bring a flash light- makes it more spooky. Might be boring for older kids- but perfect for my toddler. Would like to see more hands on exploration- it mostly is statues.

Connie at the gift shop was a delight! I love that you can just wonder outside and let the kids run and explore!

My 3 yr old son loved the 2 animatronics and the playground outside. I wish it had more hands-on activities inside (like sand pit for digging bones or even a kids corner with toy dinosaurs or books or something) but overall it was fun. There was a sand pit for digging outside and you can feed fish and look at turtles so those were fun :)
The Ogden Union Station is a historical 1920s train station that has been converted into an indoor marketplace, complete with museums, art galleries, and eateries. This magnificent building still retains its former beauty and charm despite showing signs of wear and tear. The Ogden City Arts Department has taken over stewardship of the station to ensure it receives the care it deserves.
Oh man, we love this place so much. What a great museum. My boys are obsessed with the little train models that go around the different tracks.
My only negative about this place is that the one man that is often in the Browning gun portion is really not super patient with kids. I want my kids to go to museums and think learning is fun, so I want it to be a positive experience. He hasn’t ever gotten after my kids, but I’ve heard him bark at other kids several times before for doing normal kid things, like asking him a question while he was finishing up a sentence. That type of thing does not fly with that man. And no, kids shouldn’t do that, but they are still learning and I think they could be given some grace. It’s not like they blurted out something irrelevant while he was talking, they were listening to him and learning and interested. Anyway, everything else is great. That dude stresses me out.

Train show was decent this year. Would have liked a few more child friendly activities. We braved the snow to be there and we were done in a hour. There was really only one thing they enjoyed. I understand limited space. But it want as good as other years we've attended.

Fun place to visit to learn about the history of locomotives 🚂 in Ogden. There is a train exhibit outside that is supper cool- lately the museum has provided entrance to 2 train cars (the military hospital transit and USPS mail carrier). It’s neat to see how life was no too long ago. Great place for kids to explore, and awesome for family photos, particularly during sunset.

I've always loved this building, and that hasn't changed with the years that have gone by since I've last been in the doors. (Almost 30 years). It's a little rougher around the edges, but thankfully Ogden city arts department is moving in and will most definitely provide the care this place deserves. It's rich with history, and beautiful to boot. Anyone in the Ogden area is missing out if they don't stop by

Such a cool museum! It is an old.trsi. station that now houses 3 collection museums. The train museum is the largest and super informative and interesting. The Browning gun section is also extensive. The Browning family has a large and beautiful collection of early model cars. Volunteers were so helpful and friendly.
Cathy Jameson — Google review
They really do a good job of keeping this place in great shape. It is a pleasure to visit here. Only one thing. You can't see the inside of the trains until warm weather, or May, they say, so be advised. You can see a lot of history in three museums, The Railway museum, The Browning Arms Museum, and the Classic Cars. All for 7 dollars while supporting a great effort to preserve these fantastic historical items.

This place is a hidden gem especially for anyone interested in getting up close to real trains. The museum showcases the stations history and a vintage car museum as well. The annual model train show is a fun to visit as well. They fill up the entire station with various train models.

Great museum sharing the importance of railroading history in northern Utah. The indoor exhibits had great interpretive information, as well as displays of early twentieth century automobiles and historic firearms. There was also a farmers market going on with all sorts of fun goodies. The locomotives just outside were impressive! Would recommend this museum for a family outing.

Waterfall Canyon Trail is about a 3 mile hike. My 3 year old loved it but we definitely needed to help her a lot. The first section of the trail is not shaded and can be very hot but once you get into the actual canyon, it's shaded and very nice. There are a lot of boulders to scramble up, it's not just a clear hiking trail. Depending on the time of year you go, part of the trail may be muddy. Hiking sticks can be useful for this hike.

🚏Ogden’s Historic 25th Street is one of the most beautifully quaint, well-preserved streets I’ve frequented - the loveliest in the state of Utah, in the case of historic streets. Since moving to Ogden in early 2014, I’ve witnessed a dramatic and progressive shift towards preservation and livening up this area. Currently, there is a thriving art district which surrounds 25th, along with the new adjacent electric bus system, Main Depot, being completed this year (2023). We are currently experiencing a population boom while at matters are looking up for Ogden in terms of small businesses, family-friendly affairs, and the art scene. Much can be said about Utah’s hidden gem, the City of Ogden.🌆🌃

It has seen better days. Many stores were unoccupied and only very few restaurants were open on a Sunday afternoon. The buildings were in decent condition, but not very interesting. Several share e-scooters were left in the middle of the sidewalk making quite an eyesore. There was only one homeless person sleeping on the sidewalk along with a couple of drunks, so that wasn’t too bad. If the museum across the street was open, then it maybe worth a while just to stroll down the street, otherwise it’s probably not worth your time. On the plus side, free parking spaces were abundant as hardly any tourist were in the area.

We loved every minute of this visit. Sure, we left a farm book in China and baby bears porridge bowl on mamas bears chair. The babies couldn’t get enough of how fun this place is. Definitely family friendly and if my babies were at the stage that they could sit through a whole kids book we actually would have sat and enjoyed some of them.
The crafts were so fun and I love that they were recycling scraps from past craft activities. Just genius!
Thank you for a super fun Saturday afternoon activity for my kids.
We will definitely return again.

Just left their trick or treating event. Loved how engaging all the helpers were. I think my only suggestion would be to have halloween music playing, or at least some playing for the cinderella game, there was some but not very fun. More engaging music would have the kids get their wiggles out a little more. Super simple songs has a great Halloween selection for kids just fyi lol other than that had a super fun time!

This place is amazing, especially for little with lots of energy, and there’s plenty of fun for all ages. And with so much to do, every visit will be a new adventure, your kiddos won’t get tired of this place any time soon. I recommend bringing water and wearing good shoes as this place is BIG and there’s not nearly enough bathrooms or drinking fountains. But it’s a great place to get you and your kids some exercise.

Great place to bring young kids to play. At the time of this review (10/29/21) it cost $5/adult and$10/child and you had to make an appointment in advance online for certain time slots. We came from 2-4:30p. It wasn't too crowded. They have hand sanitizer stations but I did not see them being used a lot and didn't see anyone going around wiping things down until they closed, but everything seemed clean, including the restroom. There are lots of fun activities for a variety of ages. They do an interactive story time in the theater and the kids get to play a part. They also have an art project and it was Halloween themed, just like the play was. Highly recommend.

It is nice to have this nearby. After a visit or two it seems boring to me. The stage activities are the most fun and the staff are great. We mostly go during special events maybe 2-3 times a year. We bought a membership to support it thinking we’d go more, but we really didn’t. Maybe the membership would’ve been perfect when the kids were even younger and before they were in school and mommy could have taken them often. Still love having it as a place to go and the staff and community activities so 5 stars.

Our second time visiting the museum. It's such a unique museum in the way it's designed. My kids love climbing up the treehouse. They have two floors and many different sections within the museum. There's a section that is dedicated to select countries, book themed spaces, an art garden for crafting and creating, an oval office (which was going through a makeover/renovation), woodland forest space, etc. They also have shows in their auditorium that are included in the price of admission. We spent three hours there today and still didn't get to everything. Great place for kids up to 12 years old.

Now this is a great place for your kids imagination to run wild! Explore different countries and learning experience. There are lockers and coat hangers. My son had a blast here and didnt want to leave. Price is affordable and plenty of parking space. Across the street from the beautiful temple. Highly recommend this place.

Clean, so fun, such variety of fun, something for every kid and not much blind spots for parents. Places to sit, bathrooms and drinking fountains, such an organized and beautiful and well-built immersive experience. Worth the drive! Convenient eating places nearby. Parking limited. Not necessarily necessary to get tickets ahead but can't hurt.

Took my boys on a day date here and we had so much fun! My boys are ages 3 and 8 and we found things (despite their age difference) we all enjoyed doing together. Very interactive and educational for both. Also very affordable

This is the first time finally taking my daughter since covid. I never wanted to fight with the online reservations because it was only in 2 hour blocks and always sold out, but my friend convinced me to go and luckily it has changed since then. You can choose between the morning block or the afternoon block now. My daughter loved it, plenty there for her to run around and let her imagination run wild. They have a little craft garden to take home an art project, too. They have a couple of hand sanitizing stations and dirty toys baskets that the dirty tools are suppose to go into, but I didn't see those getting used much. Staff seem decently friendly. I only interacted with them while checking in at front desk. We were there for a good three hours, and my daughter would have absolutely stayed longer if they weren't closing. I even had to promise her that we would come back because she was so sad that it was time to go.

We had a blast here. I love the Utah focus. I feel like it’s a kids dream come true. I think they do a really good job appealing to ages 1-10 and maybe even younger. I feel like they focus on not over stimulating the kids with they’re designs. The story time was really cute, definitely more appealing to kids 4 and up. The place felt clean and they are clever to place baskets for toys that have been in your child’s mouth. The staff seemed happy to be there and were extra helpful. We were the last ones to leave and the worker convinced my 2 year old to put her coat on with a sticker, no pressure just kindness, it worked and I felt like they went above and beyond to help out.

If you have younger kids, the pass is worth it! During winter there are great activities for them! We love the 2 reservation slots. Perfect amount of time. The craft corner and participation play are our favorites!

This museum was so interesting! The John M. Browning Museum has so much history regarding the invention of guns. It is located at the Union Station Museum in Ogden, UT. This museum is 1 of 5! The ticket price covers all 5 museums. Worth the time! There are stairs, but also an elevator for those who need one.

This is THE place to be for any Browning firearms enthusiast. The work of one of the greatest American inventors is on display. The railroad and antique car museums in the Ogden Union Station are also excellent.

Beus Pond Park is a tranquil park with a lovely walking path that encircles a duck pond. It offers shaded areas and picnic tables, making it an ideal spot for relaxation. The park also boasts of great birdwatching opportunities, with various species of ducks, red-winged blackbirds and even pelicans. Moreover, the park has playground equipment and picnic tables to cater to different interests.
You forget that you are in the city. it feels like being up in the mountains with nature. Nice walk around the pond. There are joggers, people walking their dogs, and mommas with strollers. The air feels so clean, the sound of the birds, ducks, and streams rippling are beautiful! This week, I saw 5 deer come down the hill to drink from the pond. My dog was more interested in the squirrels. There are trails to take. I love it there.

This is a great park for natural beauty.
The two needs cleaning desperately.
The parking is very limited and tight to get into the parking lot.
It could really use since benches to sit down on to enjoy the area and take a break from walking.

Quiet on a Sunday afternoon. Path leads from Forest Green Park to walk along the pond and a great bench with a view. Almost positive we saw a turtle sunning on a far log. Some fishing going on but don't know if they were catching anything or what they would be catching. Good place for birding with different varieties of ducks, a pelican, red-winged blackbird. Friend with Merlin app identified eight sounds. Forest Green Park has playground equipment and picnic tables so here you have two different offerings in one location. Behind the Weber State Stadium area with many restaurants on Harrison if you don't bring your own picnic.

Beus pond was a great little place for an afternoon walk. Pretty busy so parking was difficult. Be careful if you are parking on the street because there isn't much room. But the pond has a well kept trail around it and there are several spots and docks to pull off on for fishing or just admiring the pond. In the summer it gets a little smelly because of the geese. The bathrooms are accessible most year round and are usable.

Really lovely park, lots to see and explore. My only complaint is the bathrooms need a little TLC.

I've been going to be spawn since I was a kid my mom always brought us here to feed the Ducks and walk the trail and it's always been a good time. This Pond is great because the fact that there is a lot of canopy cover. So even if it's really hot out you're not stuck in direct sunlight being cook like an egg. They're even a few inlets from little strings which is really cool for photo opportunities and dipping your feet in and cooling-off. I recommend. 👍😎

It was densely populated but you wouldn't be able to tell due to how spread out every group of humans was. The trail and paved paths were kept clean. The plants were very well taken care of. Ogden Nature Center is a vast 152-acre nature reserve that features numerous walking trails and ponds, alongside an educational center. The flat trails are ideal for children, allowing them to explore the beautiful surroundings freely. Apart from the animals they care for, visitors can encounter eagles and deer while enjoying a picnic on one of many benches or tables available outdoors.
Lovely place. They nurse and look after injured animals that can no longer make it the wild. You can also walk around the area and see birds and deer. There's an observatory and a treehouse as well.

Gorgeous place, perfect for a walk with the family, friends or solo. It's surrounded by short, easy trails and their gift shop has so many fun gifts for loved ones (especially if they love birds)! I do recommend taking not only sunscreen and a big water bottle but also a bug spray.

Great place to for hidden groves, ponds, and shady trails. I especially enjoyed the birdhouse trail. Actually, I was blown away by the sheer number of clever and beautiful bird houses. There are several kinds to explore and if you are lucky you might see a turtle, or three. The Bird of Prey area was also very enjoyable. Such gorgeous owls, hawks and eagles to see. There is a great playground for the children, with pails in the sand and a water pump to add to the fun. There is even a children's library near the playground with some interesting books to read. There are shady chairs to rest on and fantastic sculptures for the kids to climb on. About a mile and a half of trails to wander and even a hidden "mouse hole" to find. Spend a pleasant day enjoying nature and support the wonderful educational programs in this unique getaway.

I’ve been to the nature canter a few times before but it was especially fun to be there during their Earth Day celebration. Lots of local groups providing earth-friendly education & activities!
If you’re traveling through Ogden, this is a fun place to walk around for a minute and learn a bit about Utah wildlife. Have you ever seen a bald eagle IRL?

This morning we enjoyed a pleasant autumn walk among mostly golden-leafed trees. Birdhouses line the walk up to the visitor center and gift shop. A short walk from there to the children's play area. "Enjoy meeting some of Utah’s native animal species up-close through our live exhibits of birds of prey, snakes, salamanders, tortoises, and spiders." While there is the trail to walk and things to see, check out their website for events and activities.

the visitor center was beautiful with exhibits of reptiles and a nice gift shop. They also have birds of prey which were so fun to watch. The only drawback is the map they provided was confusing and my husband was unable to read it. We got a little lost and the trails could definitely use some maintenance but overall it's a nice place. I would return for the seasonal events but not for the trails.

Such an amazing wedding venue! Was a little pricey, but totally worth it for all the benefits included. I got so many compliments from guests on the beautiful space, the greenery and freshly planted flower beds, and the sound of running water. Nobody was bored because there was so much to do. I had people stay from 2pm-8:30pm and they never ran out of things to do. Also, they suggest Penni Ward to decorate the space, and she does an AMAZING job! Overall such an amazing space to have a wedding, would totally recommend.

Took my son here fishing for his first time. The fish were pretty hard to catch. I think I do better at a regular lake with some trout bait. We tried to use the provided dog food which makes the fish feed in a frenzy but they have no reason to bite the hook.
Overall it was clean, ponds were nice, the grounds were pretty and it was fun, calm and peaceful. I would just recommend they figure out how to get more fish on your hook!

I'll be honest I don't like fish. I don't eat it, I don't like the smell, I'm just not a fan. My kids and husband love fish. For some reason my kids really wanted to catch a fish and eat it. So to make their dreams come true I took them to the trout farm in my hometown. The girl at the counter was super helpful and answered all my somewhat ridiculous questions, like how to take the hook out.. The have several ponds to choose from all were well stocked. The area is clean, quiet and just genuinely a nice place. They made it easy for a total novice like myself. They provide simple poles and a bucket. I thought the price of the fish was reasonable, they also fillet the fish for a small fee, which I gladly paid. My kids had so much fun. They loved the whole process. Despite having to touch the fish and a slightly aggressive duck I had a good time too. My kids and husband said the fish was delicious.

What a charming place! Fun outing with the kiddos. Grab several 50 cent Dixie cups of fish food to enjoy watching the many trout gather.
We fished several as well with the piles and buckets provided, then the staff clean them so they’re ready to cook! It was my first time fishing so I appreciated that they did the dirty work.
There were also goats that could be fed. The grounds were beautiful, with shady trees and views of the nearby mountains. A wedding was going on next door while we were there but the two activities seemed to coincide just fine.

Camped here for the Easter weekend Rendezvous. It was fantastic. Only $40 to camp for the weekend. It's wooded enough that it feels like regular camping, but with perfect cell service! We really loved the Friday night Camp potluck with their *enormous* pot of soup and stories around the campfire. Nothing can compare to that feeling of community. They have great activities for kids. Our daughter loved finding a couple of the "dinosaur eggs" that get hidden for kids to find early every morning. She was so excited to break them open and find the treasures inside.

Easter Rendezvous is the first event to start the year at Fort Buenaventura. Many fun period things and people to see. Many friendly vendors. (Maybe food inside the wood fort).

The park is a nice little hidden gem for Ogden. I enjoy going to help my mom sell her items at Ogden Music Festival. This year's (September move) proved to be a welcome change of pace. We'll come back in June with more items to show!
Only complaint is that it is NOT really convenient for those with disabilities. (BUT it IS the outdoors.... So can't really be frustrated with nature.)

The event center covers a lot of area and many events. In some cases such as the county fair, it may cover the carnival area, 4-H had a building setup with submissions, a stage was setup for other aspects, rodeo was going for some things, and their was an Auto-Derby Saturday night. Not to mention the mass parking issues and a group of people who were using the baseball fields when we arrived.
Surprisingly everything went smoothly, but parking access was slow. It took about 45 minutes to get parked. Also a word of caution, to get parking enter from the west side. If you come in from the east hoping to make a left, you will be surely disappointed. (I had never been there before and learned this the hard way.)
Still, even thought it was a slow process it was easy to navigate. The dividers and crowd control setups were easy to understand and work through. There were plenty of staff for the different events on-going but I did find that some things from one event could not be brought into other events. I know this will vary with different hosts activities so check their webpage.
All in all, it was a good visit. Great for families or individuals. Well managed. Again, review your event info ahead of time to stay on top of things.

Filled with beautiful local artwork, the 1890 architectural splendor is in itself art.
This center recently hosted a contest of interpretation. Local florists were asked to create a floral arrangement which would reflect one of the paintings displayed in the Eccles Art Center.
Each rendition was stunning. I marveled at the vision and creativity of the artists; both painter and florist.

Free museum with shows of the community. They switch in and out each month! Lots of history, and cool relics. There’s an art council and many projects being supported. Make sure to look up the first Friday art stroll, every first Friday evening of the month!
Beverly's Terrace Plaza Playhouse is a performing arts theater situated in an ex-market. Local actors perform dramas, musicals, and shows for children. The production quality and entertainment value are exceptional, making it a worthwhile experience over traditional movie theaters. The theater has a welcoming environment with friendly owners, Jacci and Kim Florence. Volunteers put in significant effort to ensure every show is excellent without fail.
I love love love this theater!! I was in my first show ever here over 15 years ago and have been back many times. Not only are the shows all amazing, but the people are more amazing. I have made so many life long friends. And I always feel at home. Thank you all who work to put these shows on!

OVERVIEW - 4.0
Came here upon the insistence of my younger brother with his family and our families.
LOCATION - 3
I'll be honest, this place was a bit hard to find with the GPS (truth be told, but my wife was in the passenger seat as the co-pilot, but I don't think she was really paying close attention), but it was mixed amongst all the residential homes.
PRICE - 4
We didn't pay for the tickets as it was a gift from my folks, but seeing the grand total for everyone, it was rather pricey.
PRODUCT/SERVICES - 3
The play was entertaining and you could tell it was well rehearsed. We saw Scrooge. My problem with the play was the story is all too well known. The play felt like it had 4 to 5 songs too many. I think in the end the play lasted about 3 hours including the intermission.
POINTERS/PERKS - 5
I'm sure there are pointers and perks. We sat in the center in the middle, which seemed to be prime for the play.
EMPLOYEES - 5
The staff was well practiced and did a great job performing. It is obvious that they've been doing this for years.

The show was amazing, I saw Singing in the rain. They had actual rain on stage. The performance was well put together and you feel completely immersed as they come in and out of the aisles. The building was clean and well maintained

Our group of 12 saw the Odd Couple on Friday evening. What a great production. We have not laughed that hard in a long time. These locals work very hard and they are terrific.

I love The Scarlet Pimpernel movie so I didn’t know what to expect. This was such a good play. It was so entertaining and funny. Don’t go see a regular movie in the theaters. Come to see this play. Well worth your time and money. The memories and fun will stay with you a lot longer. Nothing beats an in person experience.

I’ve done 4 shows at this Theatre and hope to be in more. It’s such an amazing theatre with an amazing environment and wonderful people. Owners Jacci and Kim Florence are extremely nice and very welcoming. There has been so much hard work put into productions by so many great volunteers and there’s never a bad show. ❤️

We saw See How They Run here. The cast did an excellent job. The props and costumes were well done. The seats however are worn out which was a little uncomfortable. I would go back if they had another show I would want to see.

The actors were fantastic! We loved that we got to meet the cast afterwards especially because my daughter loved Belle and it blew her little mind that she got to see her up close and have her picture taken with her!
My only suggestions would be to work on the mic quality and the seats. I had a hard time hearing the actors singing over the music and my back hurt so bad by the time intermission came around I almost didn't want to go back in and sit down to finish the show. I saw people with small travel pillows at the beginning of the show and I quickly found out why they had them!
For the most part I really enjoyed it. The building was clean the staff was friendly and it was a great place to take the family for an enjoyable night!

Looking for a great production check out Beverly’s Terrace Plaza Playhouse! You won’t be disappointed!
Peery's Egyptian Theater is a former cinema that has been transformed into a stunning performing arts venue adorned with elaborate and vibrant Egyptian artwork. The theater exudes an inviting ambiance and is popular for dance recitals and performances like The Nutcracker during the holiday season. It's advised to purchase tickets in advance due to the cozy seating arrangement, which lacks extra space for comfort but is still fairly comfortable. Concessions include soda and popcorn while restrooms feature many stalls as well as water fountains.
Absolutely LOVE this Theater!!! Been a family tradition to go here every year for The Polar Express. Christmas starts once we come here dressed in our PJ'S and watch the movie. Its a magical place to start off a magical time of the year.

I forgot how beautiful this theater is. It’s one of the most iconic places in Ogden. It might be very old but it’s absolutely beautiful! It’s a must destination if you are in town!!! Go see a play or watch a film festival.

🎭Beautiful and historic live theatre in the heart of downtown Ogden Utah. I’ve visited this theatre many times for various events, most recently attending a Puddle’s Pity Party show with a close friend. Theatre staff are helpful and friendly, concessions available, and box office offers will-call if you like to collect hard copy tickets to events. Most of all, I adore the old-world charm this theatre offers. Will definitely attend many more future events! Additionally, there are many restaurant options nearby to satisfy those ‘after-show appetite suppressant’ needs. *Highly Recommended

This little theater is a jewel. It's been lovingly maintained and has a great ambiance. I frequent it for dance recitals and The Nutcracker in December. It's not giant so if you're looking at attending an event always get tickets early. The theater seats are small, no elbow room, but pretty comfy. There is often soda and popcorn sold as concessions and there are water fountains and bathrooms with lots of stalls. In addition, there's an inexpensive parking garage very nearby, just to the back of the building.

Beautiful facility and it’s lovely how theatre draws people together. (We saw Imagine Ballet’s lovely production of ‘The Nutcracker’.) Community involvement and support makes this historic theatre building survive.

My daughters and I went to Peery’s in December to watch The Nutcracker. Beautiful theatre with great acoustics. The people sitting next to us were annoying and loud but the actual performance and theatre was nice. Very clean restrooms and welcoming, friendly staff.

It is so great to see that the people of Ogden have preserved this awesome theater. It is historic and well kept. They get some interesting programs as well. We saw some Irish dancers and a piping band.

Took my family to see Potted Potter. First time going to this theater. It's beautiful. What fun details. We want to come back. All seats are good seats. Don't worry about seating. The front row is right up to the stage, so you will be getting a sore neck.

So fun listening to the theatre organ accompanying the silent film, "The Kid". The organist is very talented.

This theater was so fun! It’s 100 years old now and the architecture really shows it’s age with the ornate decorations. The seats are comfortable. The sound system could use a little bit of work with the left speaker sort of adjusting volume louder every so often and it was odd. Not a huge deal though. We enjoyed the ambiance.

I've been to two shows: Music Man and A Christmas Carol. They were both outstanding. The facilities are clean and comfortable. They do a great job of taking care of the place. The productions are incredible, particularly for a relatively small city. The ticket prices may be a tad high, but it is worth it. I highly recommend the experience to everyone.

Went to see Thriller and sat in Box A. If u have a choice, do NOT sit in box A, at least not for Thriller. The lights were constantly in our eyes, multi color, strobe, all of it - blinding and nauseating 🤮. Who ever is in charge of lights did not consider folks in the box! Otherwise the venue was pretty cool. As for the show Thriller - lose Bobbit and the Justice League Short Version - those were the WORST acts ever and done in poor taste! I liked the Clown 🤡, the Skeltons, the black light skit - the Stomp version could have really been good but fell short because it was SLOW and dragged out. Definitely a mixed bag - for the price ($35 plus $6 for parking), I wouldn’t go again.
