Pundt Park is a spacious recreational area that offers numerous fishing lakes, unpaved trails, picnic areas, and a dedicated dog park. It features adequate playground equipment that is sheltered from sunlight and caters to kids and young teenagers alike. The surrounding trails are suitable for various activities like walking, jogging, or biking. Additionally, it's close proximity to Spring Creek makes it an ideal spot for enjoying nature. Pundt Park's beautiful location also provides an excellent backdrop for photography sessions.
We walked Pundt Park from The Dennis Johnston Park via the Spring Creek Greenway. Pundt Park has a good selection of playground equipment, that's covered from the sun, for kids and young teenagers. There's also a huge dog park on-site. Spring Creek is just a few minutes away by foot. The is a good place to let the kids have fun or get some exercise by walking, jogging, or biking the surrounding trails.

Quiet spot for a peaceful walk among the trees. You’ll see squirrels 🐿️ running up some of them if you’re lucky. 😀
Walk along the river is lovely.

Hands down one of my absolute favorite parks in Houston! I love the wooded trails! I love that the park is pretty big, and very well kept. It’s a very peaceful place to go on walks / bike ride.

Went for the dog park ended up in the creek! The large dog park is well maintained and has 2 small water areas inside and a wash area outside of the fence. A short walk takes you to a beautiful little beach on the creek. Ankle to knee deep water when I went. (Didn't see any snakes thankfully) very peaceful! The bathrooms at the parking lot were also surprisingly well maintained!

Amazing, relaxing oasis to retreat to for some time with nature!! It was a beautiful surprise. The sand was nice, young kids had a great time, and so did adults! Next time we will make a day of it! Beautiful photo shoot location!

Great park to visit. There is a fenced-in dog park for your fur babies, a small park and swings for your normal babies, fishing ponds, miles of hiking paths, as well as a 10 mile or more paved bike path. Sandy beach areas on Spring Creek are a nice pace to hang out with the family. Hidden gem close to the house, we go here all the time.

Was quiet, peaceful compared to what I’m used to. Found some large mouth bass action. Even the loud kids who occasionally walked by quieted down when they saw I was fishing. Only threw 1 rock for a tik- tok video! I’m joking, sort of… kid definitely threw a rock in where I was fishing haha. Anyways, what’s new? Was a beautiful day and an awesome place to enjoy it! Some minimal patience with the occasional passerby and you’re back in nature in a beautiful place. Highly recommend, even if youre just driving through.

Since discovering Pundt Park, about 6 mo. ago, I have visited it every week or two with my dog. The trails are shaded and quiet, so walking her along various paths is enjoyable. She especially likes the dog park and heads to it the minute we get out of the car!
Also, for a dog park, I find that everyone there is careful about keeping an eye on their pets and avoiding any 'incidents' which is something I always try to do myself.
I go to 4 or 5 different local parks, and Pundt is one of my favorites - definitely the favorite of Lila, my dog.

Very nice trail for biking and running. Good paving that goes for miles, sufficient shade from trees during summer/noon, isolated from traffic sounds. The Dog park is large with 2 separate areas, usually crowded weekend mornings and slightly empty in the afternoon
Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown in Houston, TX has a variety of slides and attractions for children, teenagers and adults. The park is extensive with 40 acres of water and features a lazy river, wave pool, whitewater raft ride, slides and surf ride.
Had a great time with my wife for Mother's Day. The park was not at full capacity. Worth every penny if you have small children. I will be visiting again real soon!...
Only thing I forgot to mention it was really hard for the young people working the food counters there should a supervisor or two helping then out cause it took over 35 minutes to get it right. I had to start eating at the counter...Please send them some help.

I love this place. We have premium season passes, so we go whenever we want to go. But the lines are so long for the water slides && the stairs- oh lord it's so many stairs. But it's worth the 30 second ride. The food is pretty high, but they let you bring water bottles in. Other than that , me and my brothers have a blast here every year. I recommend you should go get a season pass to this water park next summer. Oh and let's not forget, the waves in the wave pool is so big. I love it!!!!😹🪴

The park was a blast. The kids had a great time playing and going on the rides. The entertainment was well worth the money spent.
The only drawback was the food. The food left alot to be desired, huge lines, a 45 minute wait to order, the best part was the fries. The burger was burnt, the pizzas weren't done all the way, but after almost an hr waiting for food it isn't like we could send it back. For $120 bucks to feed 6 people, it could've been better. So that was disappointing.
But other than that, the park itself was great. The staff were friendly and polite, the lines weren't too bad, and the kids made some awesome memories. The restrooms were well maintained, the facilities in general were clean, and the lifeguards were very prompt and professional. We don't usually go to large water parks, but this was definitely a memorable experience, minus the whole food debacle. 4 stars

It's a good water park but crazy having to pay for parking and then a locker and then food on top of tickets. Especially in this economy. And we bought a float for my 1yo nephew and it was not allowed in any of the pools. That was a bummer.

Started going here in 1988 when all my friends got summer jobs here… it was great then. Brought my kids on season passes from 2005-2012…. It was great then. Came back today with my 23-year-old daughter…. It’s still great now. It’s a public pool, y’all. Come with realistic expectations about the crowds and cleanliness. Also, come with a cooler that you can leave in your car to exit, eat lunch, then go back in, or go to one of the many fast food places adjacent to the park. The concessions are very expensive. You can bring in one bottle of water — bring a big one! It’s hot. But it’s such a great value to have a perfect summer afternoon. I loved the addition of the metal detectives and x-ray machines. It’s safe like the airport, so you can just relax and enjoy your day.

Absolutely awesome! Great family get away that won't break the bank. The only issue I have is folks claiming seats and literally using them only to store thier belongings. This is not the parks fault by no means. So be sure to plan ahead for the things you'll be hauling with you. We will definitely be returning with out a doubt.

This water park is fun. in good location. It is best to arrive early to find a good parking spot. inside you can buy, some food. and the drinks, if you have the sixs flags seasonal cups the refills are free. they have several attractions, and everything is clean, and many lifeguards, always watching. Just fun in this water park!!

My first ever visit to Hurricane Harbor and I was disappointed. Unfortunately, the weather didn't hold up too well. The water park opened at 10 a.m. and by 12:30 p.m. we were told to get out of the water as there was lightning nearby. An "act of God" can not be blamed on HH. We wanted a rain check voucher, but was told by HH staff that they would have to officially close the park for the remainder of the day. If they did close the park, we would have to return to customer service at closing time to receive our raincheck voucher.

Arrive early to secure a spot, there’s areas with chairs and tables you don’t have to pay for. Fun for all ages. We didn’t rent a locker we left our belongings for hours unattended with no issues. We brought bottles of water but food is not allow inside. Avoid buying food if you can, too expensive. You can leave the park (to eat )and return, you will get a stamp. The lines were pretty long but it was worth it, some of the slides have only one employee and maybe that's why the delay. Overall we had lots fun and planning to return and rent a cabana for a different experience.

Monday-Wednesday are the best days to go for way shorter lines for the water slides. 🛝 💧 🏄🏾♂️ 🌊 🏄♀️ 🌊 🏄♀️
Also the "ten minute staff wave pool breaks" at times turn into 15-20+ minutes on average" Social will live on without the teenage lifeguards 😁 Yall can check your status on lunch break or when you go home...
(Non- major holiday days) I purchased the Platinum passes for the fam. Wish this park was larger.
Also some staff members need to be paid 1-2 dollars more per hour. 💸

This place has changes since I last visited it. It was an amazing place to revisit the people was fun and the rides definitely did what they was suppose to. I even re rode rides twice. Begin to get away from home and enjoy this park made the 6hr drive worth while. I’d go back personally. My only thing was the day I chose to go. It was really packs if I could have went during a week day I’d probably would’ve avoided whoever kids was playing in the lazy river.

Took my 1 1/2 year old. It was the first time for him and me. Got there a little bit after 11 but the parking lot was already filling. A crowd was expected for Memorial Day. Purchased a season pass because we live close. It includes parking. Everything is quite pricey right along with everything Six Flags. Got the souvenir bottle so we get free refills for the rest of the season. They have a kidde areas which is perfect for him. I was even able to slide down a couple larger slides with him on my lap. We enjoyed the lazy river and also the wave pool.
Spring Creek Greenway is a vast expanse of lush greenery spanning almost 40 miles, providing ample opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts to indulge in activities like hiking, biking, fishing and kayaking. It owes its existence to the Carter family who generously donated the land years ago. The park boasts of numerous trails that are well-maintained by the constables and parks department, ensuring visitors' safety while traversing them.
Great place well kept. Great trails for bikes and walking. The river was nice as well. I love how they added sand to the river banks.

This greenway is a gem in the north side of Houston. Well paved route along spring creek, a natural forest. Enjoy biking, hiking, jogging, walking, fishing, canoeing and horseback riding. Enter through different parks: Dennis Johnston, Jesse Jones, Cater or Pundt. Each parks carry different tastes and facilities.

This beautiful asphalt trail goes through the forest and along parts of Spring Creek. It’s a wider trail and great for any activity: running, walking, biking, roller blading... I even have seen a unicycle!
They also have a horse trails and other non-paved paths you could explore. Be aware of snakes, especially if you are leaving the paved trail. I’ve seen several over the past few years of going there. One time I saw a coral and a copperhead within a couple feet of each other!
I usually park at Pundt Park but I have also parked at Dennis Johnston park and Carter Park.
The trail goes quite a distance, and I can’t wait until they expand further west! I think in total the trail currently is around 15 miles one way.

I got there w my girlfriend, and the woman working at the front had an attitude as if someone died. After talking with some other visitors while we picked berries, they had the same experience. I genuinely would have placed a bet on a tragedy haven taken place in her life recently due to her bad attitude, but after reading reviews, it seems to be her normal behavior. She also told me to pick berries in bushels that didn't have any berries and some other guy told me there are no berries there so he drove me in the golf cart about 500ft away to different bushels. Why she told me to pick there, I do not know. They charge $3/person + $1.50 for a bucket + $6 per pound for black berries, and the berries aren't even in good shape. The good ones were delicious, but rare, and a lot of the berries (50%) had bug infestations and were not edible. Additionally, there is nothing to do there besides the self-picking, and for the lack of quality, it was not worth it. My girlfriend and I were disappointed, and we both agreed we will not be going back, ever. I seriously don't know how people are leaving good reviews for the place. Maybe they did not interact w the same woman upfront, or maybe the farm's other produce is in good shape and I happened to go at the wrong time? Lastly, their in store shop is overpriced, and there are farms with much more attractive prices where you don't have to checkout by talking to the witch woman up front.

Disappointed with Atkinson Farm's Berry Picking Experience ( 06.01.2023)
Rating: ★★☆☆☆
I recently visited Atkinson Farm with high hopes for a fun and fruitful berry picking experience. While the farm itself had its positive aspects, I was ultimately left disappointed by the lack of organization and the underwhelming berry availability.
Firstly, I must acknowledge that Atkinson Farm does have some redeeming qualities. The farm itself is pleasant, and the atmosphere is serene and peaceful. The setting provides a lovely backdrop for a day out in nature. Additionally, the farm is well-maintained, and the staff members were friendly and helpful.
However, the main purpose of my visit was berry picking, and this is where the farm fell short. Most of the berries were not ready for picking, which was quite frustrating. It appeared that the farm did not adequately monitor the ripening process, leading to a limited selection of ripe berries available for picking. This lack of organization was disappointing, as it detracted from the overall experience.
Moreover, I found the pricing structure to be quite steep. There was an entry fee of $3, which I consider reasonable for access to the farm. However, on top of that, I was required to pay $6.99 per pound for the berries I picked. While I understand the need to cover costs, the additional charge felt excessive, especially considering the limited variety and availability of ripe berries.
Furthermore, Atkinson Farm lacked additional activities or entertainment options. After completing the berry picking, there was nothing else to do on the premises. This resulted in a rather monotonous and uneventful visit, making it difficult to justify the time and expense of the trip.
In conclusion, while Atkinson Farm has some positive aspects, I left feeling disappointed with the berry picking experience. The lack of organization and the limited availability of ripe berries hindered the enjoyment of the visit. Additionally, the pricing structure felt excessive, considering the underwhelming experience and the absence of other activities. I would recommend exploring other options for a more engaging and satisfying farm visit.

Came to this farm for the first time today with my family, we were very excited to go strawberry picking. There was no direction on where to go and had to figure it out. We went into their little store where we had to buy the buckets and a wristband. The old lady at the register had an ugly attitude. We didn't have any items in our hands cause we were just trying to get the buckets which they have AT the registers. She raised her hands in the air as of shes saying "well what are you buying?" This was before I could even get a chance to say anything. I want to clarify I didn't give her an attitude back or even to begin with, we instantly felt like if you arent white you are getting a whole different treatment. I saw that at one register they had red buckets and white buckets for the strawberry picking, I kindly asked the younger lady at one of the registers if I could switch ONE of the 5 buckets we just purchased at that moment for A red one. The lady's reply was "No because its already paid for and already been touched." I didn't want to ruin my family's excitement so we went to the field and picked our berries and went to pay for what we picked and left. Only good thing about this trip was spending time with my family, but sad to say we gave this place a chance and they have failed to be good to their customers, we have agreed not to return to this farm again.

The perfect day to pick some berries. The staff/owners were so sweet and cool on top of the little store having fried green tomatoes and the batter for them. My kids loved picking berries and playing on the play ground .

The strawberries are the same bland ones you find at the store. They are big and beautiful but low in flavor and sweetness. I was hoping for the small small tasty ones. If you are used to store bought strawberries you will love these.

The senior management workers were very rude. The middle aged woman said that if someone can't pay thelat they need to go out into the field and work for it. I was blown back by a response like that. It also was not clear that when you pick you have to buy all in your basket. A man was leaving their shop upset about paying $50 but we didn't know what he was talking about until we went to check out. Very disappointed 😞 went a while back and it was a good experienc so I brough a friend and her family with me this time (their first time) but from this experience I will not be back and certainly not recommend this place to others.

This is a great place to spend an afternoon wondering around and looking at the many dozen different vendor stalls. This place is massive so you may need to go more than once to really take it all in. There were many times that we found some smoking deals. Each stall can be a different vendor, and some vendors have multiple stalls. Some are business and some appear to be individuals just trying to sell their old stuff. We really like how you can reach out to the sellers and negotiate prices with them if there is something you really like but don’t want to pay the asking price.

I'm writing this low star review on behalf of my mother who has become a frequent customer at this antique gallery. She assists my dad as an interior designer for his contracting business but as a hobby also constantly thrifts and buys secondhand. She recently started shopping at this establishment since it is close to our home. She even brings in more business since she's come back to bring her friends to shop with her. She loves the pieces she has found here and was even informed by a friendly older gentleman who works there that she can always bargain a better price then what's listed. The reason I'm writing a negative review is due to the treatment she has received by all the ladies working as cashiers. They have been rude and cold to her in all interactions for no reason at all. They make the transactions harder then they need to be as well. This past weekend she came in to pickup a piece she had purchased already and brought in her receipt and the pickup ticket. The lady then accused her of not having paid for her item beforehand when my mother handed her the CLEARLY MARKED ticket that showed she had already paid for her item. I don't know why they feel comfortable discriminating against my mother in this establishment but whoever is in charge should clearly have a word with them on how they treat their customers. It is off-putting to have to deal with these rude "karens" up at the register, acting as if my mother can't afford the multiple things she has purchased. If we can even get an apology from anyone here, I'd greatly appreciate it or else we will happily take our business elsewhere.

Really nice place to spend an afternoon walking around. All the booths are very organized and clean. Staff is very helpful and friendly. And you can find some pretty unique items. Though you do see some stuff that is not antique so to speak. Like surplus, toys or whatnot.

Very friendly staff! I went there the first time and fell in love with the business. I love antiques and this was a paradise for me.
Every seller has their own both. Maybe to the buyer there isn’t a rhyme or reason to why things are set up the way they are because it may feel like things are all of the place. But I look at it as a treasure hunt…because really isn’t that what shopping for antiques is about? Seeking treasure and rare finds?
I brought my husband and he fell in love and found a buffet that he had to have. So we purchased it. The staff was very informative about their delivery options. We didn’t feel rushed even when the store was closing.
We will be back! I know I will :)

While I enjoy the shop and it's selection greatly unfortunately I didn't appreciate how I was treated here. In the last 6 months I've stopped in several times and everytime was the same. I was followed around despite always being well dressed and usually coming from work so my attire was never in question. I wasn't going to let that stop me from purchasing the item I wanted. But little did I know that was a reg flag. The dresser I purchased was full of items when I first had eyes on it so I could not get a great look into it but I went ahead with my purchase. When the day came to pick up my item it was emptied out and had been fully wrapped in plastic and I was unable to look inside. Again. The gentleman helping said not to touch the item that he would be moving it from the store to my vehicle and to let him do his job so I stood back and did so. I felt very rushed out of the store and he directed me to wait outside.
When I arrived home and unwrapped the item I found MOLD inside the dresser underneath the top inside. And evidence of mold inside the back of the wood. The entire piece had to be thrown out as not to contaminate my home with mold spores. It was not fixable because the mold had already done damage to the wood and had seeped deep within the pores of the wood so unless I sanded the entire item down re stained it and even then it may not have been fixed. I have a compromised immune system so this was devastating that I had just brought a molded item into my home and waisted all that money. I was told they don't do returns so that was that. I took the item out to the trash. So much money waisted.
So sad by all this I will not be back.

Today on the way back to Spring we stopped at this Antique Mall which we have wanted to do. It is a fairly large mall with plenty of stalls. The owner Karla offered fresh coffee if we wanted it and showed us where the pot is. The mall is like an old fashion antique mall as it claims. The place is very friendly and filled with so many items that are very southern but also a lot that can be found on the east coast. The prices mostly seemed reasonable for east coast antique stores but may be slightly high for this income region, not sure how the sales are on a busy weekend, so they could still do fine. Definitely worth the stop if you want to search for heirlooms that you remember as a kid or just want to browse all the neat findings and the friendly atmosphere!

Good selection but many items are not priced. The service is OK. I found bigger selection and lower prices down the street. Vinyl is something I shop for it was priced stupidly high here . This place has nice things but, Ebay might be better for the price.

An amazing true “antique” mall. Super friendly and helpful staff. I come here all the time and almost always leave with a new treasure. There’s always new stuff to look at. And doesn’t like coffe and cookies?!?

A hidden gem, and a bit like the TARDIS; small on the outside, impossibly large on the inside. Each seller's space had such a uniquely curated collection (and in such a large layout, there were endless selections). I was impressed with the maintenance of the items but also of the mall in general. I did need some assistance carrying a few items to the front and the associates were very accommodating. I was really impressed with my experience and will definitely return when I can.
I have been a member/board member/instructor here for 10 years! Our artists are amazing, welcoming, and come in all ages and levels. Drop in for Opn\en Studio on Fridays from1-4 or visit the website for more info.
One warning: for YEARS we have tried to change this old (over 15 years) address, only to have it remain.Real address is 701 Sawdust in Spring,TX 77380!

My company Atirela was hired to decorate for a birthday party. We set up inside the studio, the space has high ceilings and has a nice charm to it.

I love this place! I have searched through the woodlands for an organization that truly understand what it means to be an artist and gives back to the community and this is the place. I am so excited to join this organization. Sign me up!!! I am ready to make some art.

Artsy Fartsy Antiques & More inside the Antique Gallery of Houston
Love visiting their booth at The Antique Gallery! So many unique items that have been sourced and hand picked by Lain and Greg. They also have a large selection of Dixie Belle paint and accessories. Make sure to follow their social media pages for information regarding upcoming paint classes!
