The EAA Aviation Museum is a fascinating museum that showcases a wide range of historic airplanes and offers hands-on exhibits for children to enjoy. Visitors can learn about the evolution of flight, from its origins with the Wright Brothers to modern space travel. The collection includes personal homebuilt aircraft as well as commercial planes. During summertime, visitors can take advantage of trolley tours that explore outdoor hangars where they can see even more planes up close.
Great place to learn and see all types of planes. The children's spot is cool for everyone and you can sit in a jet! If you live in the area and haven't gone, I suggest a trip. In the summer it's better because they open the outside hangers and you can take a trolley and see even more planes.

Self guided tours with staff walking around to answer questions. Friendly staff, nice gift shop area. Even if you don't have kids, go to the kid zone and go up to the 3rd floor Control Tower. Have your picture taken with you in the Raptor (Maverick not included π). Really a cool place for kids and adults. Plan to spend minimum 3 hours if you enjoy reading about the planes. The only negative was many of the hands on activities were out of order (most of them, actually). Great museum...Highly recommend!

It was a cool place. Well it was a cool place for my husband who loves aviation. Some of the exhibits in the kids discovery area were out of order so it was somewhat disappointing but overall pretty cool. They need to upkeep the place better.

This museum is a must see for anyone who likes airplanes or history! It shattered our expectations in the best way. We had heard it was big and interesting. Wow, it was huge! There are so many planes of all shapes and sizes. We loved reading the history of how things evolved in aviation. We spent way longer than expected just taking it all in. We enjoyed that the displays were dynamic, planes at crazy angles, displays that moved or were interactive. It was a hit with both young and old. The areas showed different aspects of aviation history, from the Wright Brothers, through wars, and into space. Highly recommend it!
We went on a Saturday morning and they were not busy. A few families but we didn't have to cross paths there was so much to see. I can't wait to go back!

I love this museum! There is a collection of airplanes here that will excite and satisfy anyone curious about the origins of flight and personal homebuilt aircraft. They have exhibits that cover everything from the Wright Brothers up to modern space flight. Very cool and worthwhile if you're in the Oshkosh area.

One of our stops in 2022 when touring Wisconsin on a father son road trip! The city of Oshkosh is well known for its amazing Air Shows but the museum is just as good! My son and I were here for hours taking in everything it had to offer! There is so much to see and do, it felt like it never ended! No matter your age, from 9 to 92, you will find plenty to do and see! They have a top notch kids play area! Interactive displays! Flying simulators! Live science stations! Film presentations! A vast miniature model display! Planes and heirlooms dated throughout history! And so much more!!! The facility is very clean, nice and cool and very easily handicap accessible. A family could easily spend the afternoon here and go home with smiles and dreams of flight! I know I did! I wanted to get my pilots license right then and there! You would be missing out on an absolute treasure by not coming here! Highly recommend!!! 10 stars!

Ok so I went during the EAA Oshkosh Air Show so they let me in for free because I was wearing the wrist band. Even if you had to pay, it is still good value.
There is a room dedicated to early flight including a replica Wright Brothers 1903 Flyer and Charles Lindberg's Spirit of St Louis. There is a racing/air stunt room which was great, too, a record setting section with a replica of the Voyager aircraft plus a library and a kids room.
It was crowded, although that was due to the airshow.
The restrooms were clean and the staff were friendly. They had a gift shop with great caramel fudge!

Great museum, the displays are well spaced with seating areas throughout. The displays themselves are well thought out, and the majority of them are focused on the evolution of aviation and the record-breaking aircraft that have been used to do it. There are also exhibits for space and military programs as they also helped shape the history of aviation. You can tell that the museum and its members care about the history of aviation.

Very fun! It's definitely worth going to. It shows how men and women were able to fly these airplanes and even gives you simulators for kids or even adults to have fun in!

Great museum with knowledgeable docents. The history and variety contained in this museum is impressive. Aviation is not a hobby or interest of mine but I really appreciated the museum and would visit again. We got a lovely guided tour and learned about the Wright brothers, to military planes, to planes that have been into orbit. The gift shop was nice as well. This is a well maintained museum that is captivating for all ages including lots of historical details on the placards and interactive demonstrations for kids.

Went with my husband and enjoyed looking at everything. I took massive pictures but there's too much to look at to take that many pictures. Place is massive and has two stories. I enjoyed the interactive displays and looking at all of the lego builds of airplanes. We looked at military planes and novice prototypes.
I don't recommend high heels or flip flops unless you have strong feet because there is a lot of walking involved and every direction you can look, there is something to see.
Heather Holden β Google review
Very cool museum with tons to look at. My kids especially enjoyed the space area where you could hold an asteroid and touch the moon. Lots of great planes to look at and some fun exhibits too with lots of video to watch. Place was pretty much empty but could be just that it was New Years eve (shocked they were even open).
Taking off a star though as most of the kids exhibits were broken or out of service - Hot Air Balloon was offline, one of the robot hands lifted but didn't grab and the other grabbed but did not lift, the RC flier exhibit was out of service, the flying simulator joystick was broken. But of course if you don't have kids this is pretty much a non-issue.

The pilot they got to fly with was the gentleman on the Young eagles flyer. He has flown with over 1000 students. Great people 10 out of 10 we will definitely return if we are in the area. The Paine Art Center and Gardens is a stunning estate designed in the historic English-country style. It features breathtaking display gardens and a rotating gallery with various art exhibits. However, some visitors have noted that the upkeep of the grounds could be improved to ensure that all pathways are well-lit for safety purposes. Despite this, it is an idyllic location that provides a sense of tranquility and joy, perfect for relaxation or spending time with loved ones.
We recently had our wedding ceremony at The Paine in the conservatory and it was absolutely beautiful! We had the pleasure of primarily working with Laura as well as multiple interns along the way and every single one one of them were prompt, polite, professional, accommodating, and friendly. The Paine is nothing but breathtaking, and I am so thankful that they have such a great team to coordinate with. They were organized and communicative throughout the entire process which made planning the ceremony so easy β they truly have everything down to a T! The day of the wedding went seamlessly thanks to their talented teamβ¦they showed up very prepared and had thought of literally everything to make the day easiest on us as the bride and groom. It was truly a great experience and completely exceeded expectations. (PC: Something Unique Film)

Quite a few of the store units are empty. They call it an outlet but yet you can get the same deals at their regular stores. The parking lot literally had craters in it. Not small holes .... if you drove over one of those holes you would lose a tire and possibly an axle.

I would totally give this place a 5 star, but.... for the sake of all this "holy"! FIX the parking lot. The park on the side there, was an awesome installment. But you need to do more. I have ideas! Better that "hole in the ground" gets to drive on, the better your flow of "traffic".
So many people love, or should I say loved the shops. And common! It's not like we don't know the clientele your looking for is there. We just need to give them a reason to get out of the dam house.

For an incredibly hot day, this place was amazing. The price was really decent... I think it was like 4 bucks for an adult. Under two is free. Two different charges for the ages between there... I didn't pay attention to those. They have plenty of bathrooms, showers, and changing rooms. The water was a little chilly in the deeper part but I'm guessing everyone liked it in the heat. The slides are small but enjoyable. The lazy river has too much cold water being jetted or dropped on you to fully relax, but it was nice. Play area for the kids. Would go back if I was ever in town in the heat again.

The place is great to swim for all ages. The reason for my 2 star review is because it cost my significant other, our daughter, and myself $11 to swim. Not the end of the world, however it was 530 and time for dinner. Instead of going home we decided to just get our 1 year old something to eat from the concession stand. Not too expensive $2 for a small slice of pizza and $2 for a large drink. But we were shocked and disgusted to find out we would have to pay $2 for just a cardboard cup! I understand they pay for the cups and they're not free for them. What I'm shocked is they did not say oh well it is not free however you can have the cup for 10 cents. Even if the cup costs them 5 cents, they're still making a profit. The cup was just for us to put some water in for the 1 year old. No ice, no water, no nothing else I asked for just a cup and they would not let us have it for her to get water out of the drinking fountain. I'm just appalled! These outlets like the pool, parks, and skateparks are for kids to have outlets other than smoking cigarettes, drinking alcohol, and/or doing drugs. It's sad how much it costs just to go swimming! If you are not under the age of 3 you need a part time job to afford just going to the local pool instead of stealing or drinking or being doing things that you shouldn't be doing and breaking the law that's really sad a healthy outlets cost the most that's really sad.

If there are any parents of prospective future students scouring these comments while they help their child select a college, or if you are a prospective student, heed my warning: I genuinely plead you to not choose UWO. The professors are wonderful. The classes are wonderful. However, there are so many incompetent leaders and red tape here that get in the way of having a valuable experience & undermines the professors and students at every level.

Mentorship, frugality, goal-setting. Time and devotion.
A substance of UWO and UWO Fox.
A product of a failed future (i.e., mine).
A substance induced in response to distress.
School in one word: distress.
If I could do it all over again, it would be to make it about the journey, not about the destination.
When I first left UWO, I remember my [enrollment class] counselor. I remember a sense of anticipation. Failure. Regret. Sorrow. Depression.
When I first left UWO Fox, I remember staff members who held the belief that they were bad.
My context wasn't good. My environment wasn't good. And as far as re-writing my story/history goes, I feel pretty neutral about anything and everything after doing a thorough analysis and think-back.

Love paying $300 a year for a parking pass to maybe have a chance to get lucky enough to possibly get a parking spot. They sell way more passes than spots available which has caused me to miss many, many classes. I swear everything about this place is a sceme to make as much money while simultaneously screwing over as many students as possible. If you wish to attend this school just expect to be dissapointed and enraged at how poorly everything is done. They do a great job taking a Highschool graduate that's excited about their field and draining them of any ambition they had to the point where it feels like life is a nightmare. I seriously hate this school and wish I went somewhere else.

The bureaucrats who work here are worthless. They will look you in the eye and say that it is your responsibility to do their job for them. They have no idea how to answer a question in a way which helps you in correcting a problem or acquiring the information you seek. The student interns are hit or miss. Some seem to have gained an understanding of how customer service works and will go out of their way to help you, the rest follow the lead of incompetents who are not even qualified to ask "Do you want fries with that?"
Do what I did and run away their are other Universities which will treat you with respect.

Save your money and select a different school. They are not worth it especially the graduate school! Waste of time and money without much return on investment
The Grand Oshkosh is a restored venue from 1883 that hosts concerts, local theater productions and discount showings of movies. The opera house has an interesting history and is known for its beauty. It is also a popular place for young talents to showcase their skills. Recently, the venue showcased James Garner's Tribute to Johnny Cash, which was well received by the audience.
Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful with locating seats and providing a comfortable atmosphere. The theater is just magnificent, having been part of a pit orchestra and seeing the rest of the building, and enjoying the auditorium for shows, it should be on everyone's bucket list to see a show here at least once in their life.

A beautiful piece of history. I had the honor of performing on the stage there, and the sheer history of the building just impacts you. There is not a bad seat in the house, ushers and room. Managers were very polite and friendly, and the bar was well stocked with friendly bartenders move quickly during intermission. This is a piece of history, and should be cherished and respected forever. I feel lucky to have performed here, and I hope to return soon. @besteltontribute

The Grand is such a beautiful old opera house with a very cool history! "Shrek" the musical was well done by the Lourdes Academy High School . Some very talented young people here!

My four friends and I attended the John McGivern performance on Saturday evening and enjoyed him very much . I have seen him twice before and he never fails to leave you laughing.
Your volunteers were all so helpful & pleasant.
I was very pleased to see the elevator that helped people to get to the seating area. The ladies restroom really fell short on accommodations. After having 3 hips replaced, 1 knee & 1 shoulder, I am thankful when there is a handicap stall available. You may want to look into getting the toilet replaced with one that is higher. It was most difficult to use that stall for myself & 2 of my friends who have recently had surgeries. Thank goodness for the grab bar but it wasnβt easy to use that stall.
I know that not all your shows cater to senior citizens but some do. Just food for thought.

The staff at the Grand Opera house are top notch. Personable, friendly, and listen to guests while providing great service & enhancing experience no matter the event that brings you to the venue.

Loved this historic theater built in the 1800's. Seats are comfy & all have a great view. Many steps to balcony. There is a one person elevator to the main floor of the theater. Drinks are allowed in theater & are for sale in lobby. Friendly staff!

It was my first time here and I greatly enjoyed watching James Garner's Tribute to Johnny Cash. It was a great show. I will definitely go back.

All the seats have a great view and sound is good. Show was great,,Piano Man. Best seats with little tables were sold out, or would have booked them. Easy parking and little to no hassle.

Attended a show Friday evening. My seat was broke. Halfway through the opening act my husband and I moved across the aisle to open seats so i would be comfortable. . Most of this row was empty.
Shortly after a usher came up and told us we could not sit there unless we paid for an upgrade. I explained my seat was broke, and we were just trying to enjoy the show. He made us move to seats further back. We weren't trying to scam anyone. Was very frustrating. Kind of soured us on The Grand.

My first time at The Grand, truly enjoyed myself, I do plan on attending more events there.

A little cramped in the lobby, but it was a sold out show. Seating was great. Volunteers were a bit overzealous in showing us where our seats were - we said repeatedly when we showed our tickets that we were sitting by our friends who had gone in right before us, and the usher still stopped us to explain exactly how to get where we were going.

Recently attended Gaelic Storm and enjoyed the evening very much. Masks are no longer required of patrons. Distancing is not happening either. There were plenty of volunteers available to help with seating and directions. There was a lot of congestion in the lobby during intermission that could have been avoided with assistance of some better placement of things, signs or volunteers directing lines merchandise, beverages and bathrooms. Our chairs had been well used and hopefully are in queue for replacement. Lighting was hot and awkward. One of the singers seemed to struggle with some of the direct lighting. All in all, we still love the Grand and will continue to attend events there. Considering making a donation for box seat replacement. ;-)

Seen Frankie Jo Moscato, she was amazing!!! The Grand is fabulous. I'm a bigger WI guy so the seats were a bit small. Everything else was 5 stars all the way!!!

Great classic place and great show. Friendly volunteers during the show. Excellent experience.
Only negative (nothing on the Grand Opera House) is that our population seems to be very overweight and have trouble sitting in these narrow seats. I love that they have classic seats, and wouldnt like the look as much if they would upgrade, but I was getting eaten by the large guys body next to me that was spilling into my chair. People people people.

Beautiful old theatre with great accoustics and a very intimate atmosphere. Wonderful volunteers ! This year's lineup is excellent.
Amazing atmosphere. Food it decently priced as well. Lots of lanes I seen at least over 25. Seems busy all the time but yet still good service.

Absolutely one of the best antique stores I've been to! Not the same or "junky" stuff in every booth. A lot of the vendors are very well priced! The gal working the front was very kind and friendly. Would definitely make this one of my return shops if I lived closer!

Quite a fun place to explore! Staff was nice. My only complaint is that prices are fixed. I feel like a flea market/ pawn shop type place should leave a little room for haggling. There are a few things I'd like to have bought, but were just a little overpriced, not too bad, but just enough to make me search online instead. Otherwise, a great place.
Mark Mueller β Google review
Some ok pieces. Many over priced items that are not competitive with online pricing in my opinion. If you dig you can find some good deals. Pyrex is way over priced in most booths...prices have already declined online. Overall a lot of items to window shop.

Hi my husband and I spent 2hrs there. I could of spent all day there. Everytime you turn around there was a different thing you didn't see the first time. Great place. If I ever get in this area again I'll stop. Thanks for a great time.

I personally quite enjoy this antique mall. Lots of cool stuff and finds. There are 4 main coin dealers and a 5th booth has some coin options but horribly overpriced. (150%-200%) of retail. For example their silver is about 40-50x face which is highway robbery. There's only 2 other coin booths worth looking at for value VS what you get. Vendor up front in small glass case with tons of silver etc has fair pricing on almost everything. And the vendor AK has 2 booths with overall reasonable pricing on coins. The other vendors overcharge for coins
Usually 150%+ VS retail cost and online cost.

Employee was very rude. We decided to see what the place looked like, it was 15 minutes before closing time but we didnβt have intentions of buying anything, mostly just wanted to check it out. When we walked in, the woman looked at the clock, didnβt greet us, and said β10 minutes, thatβs it.β

An antique mall that rents our booths to other antique dealers. They also have a regular flea market with 40+ vendors and live music.
Nice and clean. Venders booths were nice and organized. A good selection of antiques were available.

There's a little of everything here. I spent 3 hours in the place and still didn't spend enough time to see everything. Well worth the time.

Large spacious antique and collectible mall with long aisles of wide variety. Most prices are very reasonable, and I found many deals during our visit. Due to its location, there are several airplane/flying and Oshkosh related antiques but the prices on these items are generally higher than others. If you are looking for these items, you should pay a visit here. The staff is pleasant and professional, plenty of parking and there's an adjacent outdoor area too.

Great as always. The VIP area seems much larger than necessary. Anytime I've been there it's only 3/4 full. Unfortunately, this last time was cash only. The line for the 1 ATM was as long as the concession line. Super dumb. Thankfully my friend had her debit card or we would've been screwed. That was a huge disappointment & should never be the case.

Had so much fun with my family seeing all different sorts of music concerts! I think that the fact that it's an amphitheater and right on the water make the sound quality better. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

We haven't been to Thursday night Waterfest in several years. Thursday's headliner (Tommy Decarlo) drew us in. Beautiful night for an outdoor concert. The park and amphitheater are a perfect combination for an evening of great music. Prices are reasonable and the music was great.

Our first experience here was on 7/12/17 for Huey Lewis AND the News. We drove down from Green Bay and got there around 6:30. Parking wasn't super convenient, but we found a free spot about 5 blocks away. I had no concerns about the security, the neighborhood was fine. Entrance was pretty painless. KIDS GET IN FREE WITH ADULT TICKET PURCHASE!!!
There's a large area for the VIP tickets right in front of the stage, the rest is open lawn on a grade. If you're not in VIP, bring chairs. Otherwise, you'll either be sitting lower than everyone with no view, or standing in front of seated people and obstructing their view.
By the time we got there, it was full to about the 80% mark, so we were way back. There weren't any video screens, so you could make out bodies moving around on stage, but no facial features or anything. But the sound was great (I'm a former sound guy, for what it's worth) and the crowd was considerate around us. We had our two younger kids with us and I never had the urge to punch anyone, which is slightly unusual.
They serve soda, beer, and wine on site. Food selection was burgers, brats, pizza, cheese curds and some sort of bread sticks. Reasonable prices, considering they have you held hostage. Bathrooms seemed adequate and clean, with a few porta-johns for additional capacity.
We definitely plan on going again in the future. With the free kids tickets, it was a great deal.

Positive experience. Large screens vs the traditional paper worship aide. Unique layout of pews made going up to communion a bit of a confusing experience. I would have liked to see more space for those needing or choosing to wear masks. Lights were turned off to view large screen promotion of a men's group just as I was trying to find masked seating. Had to sit with the unmasked until the lights came back on. Beautiful Mass and church. The cantors sang beautifully.

I have frequently observed Schettl Sales while driving on the highway, and upon finally visiting, I was pleasantly satisfied. In addition to being a hardware store, they offer trailer components and a variety of other products for home improvement. The original branch not only provides hardware supplies, but also features an abundance of miscellaneous items. Whether you require construction materials or unconventional decorative pieces, such as a 15-foot gorilla or moose, this store has it all.
Awesome Team to do Business with! This is a SUPER COOL STORE that has pretty much any item you can think of and everything is very well priced. There are a lot of one of a kind statues and artwork along with industrial trucking equipment and even office supplies. Elaine was awesome to work with!! I really appreciate the whole teams help! Thanks again guys!
