Tualatin Hills Nature Park is a 222-acre public park with paved trails and wheelchair accessible area. It is great for families who want to learn about wildlife from different habitats.
Absolutely love going for walks here. I have visited in every season over the past year and each one has something to offer. Look up at the towering trees, look down at tiny fungi, look out for wildlife. Always a fantastic adventure.
There are restrooms, water fountains, maps, a couple picnic tables and an indoor information and learning center at the main entrance with a decent amount of parking. Other access points as well that I believe at least one is close to a public transport stop. There are benches along the way if you want or need a rest. The main walking path is paved with a few boardwalk bridges and some side paths that are not paved (some spots a bit muddy after rain). There is a pond that has lilies in the warmer months. Last summer the water level got pretty low but it was cool to see what's underneath the lily pads that are usually just seen floating atop the water. Anyway you should go, I'm sure you won't regret it!

Great hike! I quite enjoyed the signs, definitely the highlight, I will now beware of leaves 😁 It is a wonderful area and the lush green forests never fail to satisfy the eye. Unfortunately the main trail (Vine Maple trail) was temporarily closed. So we went off the other trails which would normally be super nice, however it had rained earlier and were extra muddy. Cool puddles though. I love the various chairs that also double as tree stumps!

This is a GREAT nature park. Nice easy trails. Good map of paths, as to not get lost. Saw multiple birds. Including a Pileated Woodpecker. I highly recommend "Birds of the Willamette Valley Region" It added a whole other layer of excitement. There are restrooms, and a visitor center(though it was closed on Sunday).

A very lovely place filled with beautiful walking trails some paved. Have been going here with my family for years now and still plenty of places and things yet to be uncovered and explored. So much to see and so much to experience. Would recommend this place to anyone whom has a love and compassion for entering into the wild. Well in the city limits that is.

The trails are some of the most beautiful this side of Beaverton. During the pandemic there were so many deer that would come out to roam the trail sides. Now there are fewer deer but many local owls perched on low branches and Townsend squirrels running around.
The only issues are the chemical detergent smells that float in down wind through to the main loop as well as the PFAS littered in the river streams that no one seems to clean up. Hope a parks cleanup team can take care of the debris in the waters before summer heat erodes the debris further.

Very cute little park with lovely walking trails that are very accessible. Recommended for anyone at any skill level which is great! I loved the nature! Saw some birds and some other creatures. Got amazing pictures of owls who came right up to us!
Plenty of parking this time of year.
Bathrooms on site were adequate.

This is a nice green oasis set in the middle of Beaverton. A natural area preserving woodlands, wetlands, streams, it is crossed by multiple trails, paved or gravel, which makes it possible to go for an extended walk. Other than the occasional distant noise from traffic or a passing max train everything is very quiet and peaceful. Tranquil, mostly well shaded too, an enjoyable place to visit.

A beautiful park within walking distance of Nike. Many trails available that feature plenty of benches. Bathrooms are available at entrance. Not a dog-friendly park so best to keep puppers at home. I personally like going during the rainy season. The wild life and fungi are more active! Be sure to wear appropriate shoes, trails and bridges can be slick.

There are so many parks in the Portland area, do not overlook this gem! A gorgeous walk or easy jog, dense biodiversity, lots of cool events. One of my favorite places. It takes me about 30 minutes to jog the perimeter of the park, more if I stop for pictures or just to admire the views.
***The signs are a little confusing for me to read! Definitely snap a pic of the trail routes before you head in****

Great place for a nature walk! Once you enter, you feel buffered from the city as you walk past trees and streams and ponds. Portions are paved and unpaved. You get to choose to stay on the path or venture into other areas. Ample parking. It was winter, so no insects bothered us.

This is a very nice trail natural area with paved primary paths and unpaved alternative trails/loops. You will see some small wildlife, including rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks, birds, etc. You may even see an owl or two. There are caution signs stating that they have been reported to swoop down at times. Dogs are prohibited.

Very nice urban park with quite a bit of nature. I have walked this park a lot, but found the walks near sunset to be the best for wildlife viewing. Major trails are paved or graveled and many are mud free in the winter. They are good about marking trails that muddy. Restrooms are available, but dogs are not allowed. That is the price to see wildlife next to the trail.
Cooper Mountain Nature Park is a stunning park located just outside of Tualatin. It has multiple habitats including grassy fields, lush forests, and beautiful river views. There are also kid-friendly trails, nature programs, and gorgeous sunsets that are perfect for a day out.
I try to walk here every day and I always find something new. I see lots of deer, squirrels, coyotes, and even snakes. I love the solitude here. This park is amazing, some places remind me of the African savanna. Weekends are busy especially if it’s sunny. On week days, if I go early I only see a few familiar faces. People are mostly nice, follow the rules, keep the 6’ distance and do not litter, although not always. Once in a while I see people walking with their dogs. I don’t know whether they are ignorant of the rules or just don’t care. Anyway, no dogs are allowed, not even on the parking lot, which is clearly stated.
There are several loops in the park and you can choose them depending on how much you want to walk. I normally walk the big loop and two small loops on top which is about 3.5 miles. Please stay on the paths and do not ignore the signs. Kyle, the ranger is super nice and hard working. He takes good care of the park and does his best to maintain the trails. His work is very much appreciated.

Our son attended the Wild Adventure Camp at Cooper Mountain over spring break. He loved it! They played camp games and hiked the trails every day. It was so well organized - they had a new theme every day. He bounded out of bed every morning so excited to get to camp. Thank you.

Multiple trails to choose from. Easy. Moderate. Steep. As I ventured up to the nature preserve it was raining. However, when I made it to the parking lot, there was no rain. I will admit the peace of God reigns all around me and it can for you too. Immerse yourself above the city. Away from the traffic. Away from the daily grind. Slip away into peace. Slip away into joy. Slip away into love. Whether walking with a partner or alone. There is something for everyone.

The trails are well laid out and bring you across amazing views of the valley. It's really not hard to imagine how it looked over 100 years ago, a great effort has been made here to enjoy and appreciate!

Good spot to walk/run. Has multiple different loops you can do with over 3.5 total miles of trails. The way out is downhill and the way back is steep uphill so prepare for some elevation gain. There are great views too and a loop you can take if you don't want to do as much uphill. Most of the trails are gravel though there are some spots where it is just dirt and sometimes gets muddy. Make sure to watch for those spots during the rainy season if you don't want to get your shoes muddy.

Really good place for getting lost in nature. The trail layout allows for you to choose different lengths for the loop you want to go on. Good views of the Willamette valley. The full-length loop hike is about 2 miles, with moderate elevation gain (feels like 200-300 feet?). I've seen deer pretty commonly here. Cool flowers. I've been here about a dozen times and seen an owl only once, but it was cool to see one in the first place!

This was an incredible park to visit and our first time here. We arrived about an hour before sunset because that's my favorite walking time. Stunning views, trails, and flora. The trails were lined with wildflowers and you can tell different ones were about to bloom. Clearly it's a favorite place for photographers since they created a few photography loops to deter off trail wandering. I'm always stunned by the beautiful parks and trees we have in the middle of the Portland metro area. There's ample parking, restrooms, a small playground, sandbox, picnic tables, and this really cool bird song amplifier that I overly enjoyed. Can't wait to be back!

Jenkins Estate is a peaceful rural property with a refurbished barn and forested land that's available for unguided excursions. The area boasts picturesque trails, an abundance of greenery including plants, trees, and lawns plus there's a playground that can be accessed via Lots A or B. Visitors are encouraged to bring their children to enjoy the outdoors in a relaxed setting.
Fantastic park with lots of trails and a great playground & gardens. Wonderfully maintained with lots of locations fir good pics and strolls. Fantastic that such a great park is free, well done to all involved.

The grounds are very pretty with meandering paths and plenty of flowers, trees, shrubbery, and rolling lawns to enjoy. It's kid-friendly and a low-key way to get some fresh air and enjoy the outdoors.
There's a great playground that's right next to Lot C but you can easily get to it from Lots A or B by simply strolling through the grounds. It's not a long walk going from one end to the other.

Fantastic little place to take photos, but also a beautiful area to walk and see nature year-round. In summer the garden is full of bright flowers and in fall the leaves are gorgeous. Only complaint are the confusing signs throughout the two entrances. Despite always seeing lots of people walking dogs and running, it is still unclear to me when or if the gates to this place ever close.

We went for the Venezuelan cultural festival and had a blast. It wasn't too crowded which is a bonus for any event. There was live native music, arts, delicious foods cooked fresh on site. This year there was only one food vendor and I hope next year they have more. Late April and most of the rhododendrons were in bloom, just gorgeous! The buildings are historical and a lot of the gardens have old fashioned flowering trees and bushes. Dogs are allowed on leash as well. Definitely worth a trip in springtime.

Large park with historical buildings, really picturesque! Nicely landscaped, but also has wooded area for hiking. Great place to take photos and enjoy the flowers: snowdrops, lilacs, rhododendrons. Has herbs garden and another enclosed garden used for educational purposes. Apple and pare grove. Always quiet and tranquil. One of my favorite outdoor spaces to visit.👍

Beautifully kept property. You get a mixture of gardens maintained by volunteers as well as natural forest. There is something there for everyone. Longer up hill trail for those who want some exercise, some flat shorter trailers through gardens for those with mobility issues and a playground for kids. Keep your dogs leashed. Not everyone who visits is great about keeping their dogs on a leash and picking up after them. I probably see at least one off leash dog when I go and I am there several times a week.

Beautiful, clean, friendly people, a learning garden, lots of super easy trails some are paved can definitely have wheelchairs here or people with difficulty walking on uneven ground. Playground is alot of fun and unique, great woodsy atmosphere. People paint and hide rocks here a lot, so much to do for your kiddos to do, my 2 year old had no issues navigating any of it. Super cute pond and waterfall type fountains, cute bridges lots of flowers :)
At AMC DINE-IN Progress Ridge 13, moviegoers have the option to bring food from the on-site eatery to their seats while enjoying table service in theaters designated for those aged 21 and over. Those new to this concept need not worry about the quality of the food, as it is reportedly quite good. While some may find it expensive, others may consider it a unique experience perfect for a romantic date night or special occasion.
First time trying an AMC Dine-In and was not disappointed. Was a lil worried the food would suck but turned out to be pretty good. Not worth the big price but worth the experience for like a date night or special occasion. I will definitely do it again in the future and recommend everyone to try it.

I hate giving a bad review to one of the few remaining movie theaters but this place needs to try harder. The seats were unlike anything I’ve experienced. like a gaming chair / catapult. We felt like we were sliding off of them the whole movie. Upon sitting down i reached for the cup holder which was already sticky. Ticket prices are way too expensive. The only saving grace of this location was the helpful staff. I hope they all find new jobs soon.

Clean and neat, and no real complaints. There was nearly no decor promoting any movies, and the bar area was closed, despite the doors being wide open and seemingly available. But the staff were pleasant, the prices weren't bad, and the movies were enjoyable. Would likely go again.

I went to watch Dune Part 2 and was disappointed with theater experiences like uncomfortable seats, and disrupted projectors. I did not have a great movie experience here, please improve it.
Danny Tram — Google review
Overall- movie theater did the best they can for operating on low staffing and low budget due to low occupancy. Seats and environment are okay, convenience good, food available was excellent.
Cons: This seems like a movie theater that is not getting any attention from corporate because they aren't getting the customers. The place was super dead. No people in the bar and they had 4 "meal" options available outside of the normal snacks so probably a low kitchen staff or low budget for stocked food supplies. It did take a few minutes for the lights to dim and the bathrooms smelt slightly like they weren't being as maintained as they could be but looked clean, again could be an understaffing/ low budget issue.
Pros: We had no problem booking online a day ahead of time - full availability. There were 3 families total once we got there so another reminder that this theater isn't getting enough business but probably a safe environment if you are worried about covid still. The theater was a good temp (low 70s if I was guessing). The seats were fine. They had a high footrest that doubles as a table and the sitting part was okay- could use more depth for leaning back. We had the food delivered to our table so we didn't have to worry about waiting for it outside and missing the previews. We got the chicken bacon mac and cheese and it was surprisingly good for a movie theater meal.

I visited AMC Progress Ridge to see the new Avatar, The Way of Water movie.
It had been a while since I last went there. Every time they change the rules.
I was very early so thought I'd eat. I still remember being able to get a nice salad, hamburger etc. Now the most nutritious thing is pizza. I got some and a draft.
The small box and small draft were almost $15.
Later during the over 3 hour move I got a hot dog and a coke... another $15. I guess it doesn't always pay to see a movie on tight wad Tuesday for 'only' $5.

First time in a cinema in quite a while, so I didn't know what to expect.
Outside ticket booth had two employees in it, so we walked up to it. We waited a while, but the employees never looked up, never spoke and never acknowledged us. Finally, we saw a SMALL sign directing us to the concession stand inside where we had to wait in line with the popcorn buyers. Good news: no booking fees!
Inside theater #7, reclining seats! Previews now run 30 minutes and are SO TOO loud, it's almost painful. Fortunately, the movie wasn't as loud.
We attended "Sound of Freedom". I highly recommend you see it.

We watched Suzume in Theater 12. I walked in and didn't expect a living room vibe theater, if you do end up in this theater, book the back seats they were pretty comfy couches. They don't recline but I was comfortable.

When this opened as Cinetopia, it was a beautiful experience to go see a movie here, have dinner and drinks here etc.
I know that theaters took a hit with Covid but in comparison to where local Regals and Cinemark theaters are at post that era, I don’t understand why this theater seems to be left to rot by AMC. This is still a new building and a nice area. Putting some money in to bring this theater back is a good investment for AMC!! Many are walking distance to this theater and would prefer to go here just for proximity but choose to drive further because of how run down it’s gotten !
It almost seems that on the way out Cinetopia employees caused damage to this theater and AMC just left it as is. It smells, is not clean, there are rips and tears in the seats and nearly every living room seat bottom is broken so it feels like you’re going to slide forward off the chair.
It used to be so wonderful to have this neighborhood theater. Please make improvements so we don’t lose it!
Amanda — Google review
The day time prices were great! My seat (reserved seat) and at least the one next to me were broken and I was pushed forward in my seat the whole movie. Bathroom was very clean but doors were kind of long and you almost have to straddle the toilet to open the door. Snacks were expensive but that is normal at the movie theater. The sound and movie screen were great. The stadium seats are nice no heads blocking your view.
Roxanne Ross — Google review
Fair prices and kind staff. This theater has a desperate need for some deep cleaning. The sound systems are fairly great. I enjoy the mobile food pick up option through the app. Makes for a quick trip through concessions when you’re running late to a movie.
Nicole Croxton — Google review
We've been going to this theater for the last 10 years and more recently there's been less of a crowd, but the seat selection is pretty good in the stadium rooms.
However the last time we were in the lounge, the couches were incredibly unkept and falling apart. Definitely need to update the lounges.
Despite that experience, we regularly visit this theater and enjoy the movies, popcorn, soda, candy ironically because there's less of a crowd compared to other theaters in the area.
Charles Aban — Google review
Been coming to this location since it was first opened as Cinetopia. Back in those days, the theater was something to actually enjoy. Everything was brand new, they had a full restaurant always opened, lines outside before even getting in, and lots of seating in the halls and lobby. Now, as you can see from my pics, none of those. Now that has very little to do with AMC having purchased it, but they have done little to keep it up or modernize it continuously.
The chairs used to be so comfy and plush, but now, they are mostly flat, and the seats are not level anymore. The floor is often sticky here, and as far as a movie watching exp goes, the screens are often not crisp enough and the sound isn't as dynamic as other theaters.
The smart move they have made though, is having people buy tickets at the concession stand, so it's a lot easier to pressure by association, the purchase of snacks with your ticket.
Honestly, I wouldn't select this as my first choice for watching a movie, but I have dozens of Cinetopia voucher tickets that I haven't used up yet; but as soon as I do, I'll probably not return, unless there is some major renovation and change that happens here to keep me coming back.
David Zoraiz Benjamin — Google review
Usually, I would rate a bit higher, but the quality lately has been a bit discount theater. The last time I was there, they forgot to turn the lights off before the movie started. The food is not good either. The popcorn is decent but you have to butter it yourself and unless you ask them to fill half way with the bucket so you can put butter there, you are looking at buttery popcorn to being with but then nothing by the end. I feel like I get more service at the old theater in town than I do here.
Cameo DeVault — Google review
They were pretty friendly in their service and getting us through the lines. But the floors could have used a good vacuum or sweeping. Lots of popcorn on the floor. It wasn’t busy so I assumed the workers could’ve cleaned in between movies. Other than that it was a good experience
Josh Schiffman — Google review
Went to see Dune Pt2, after pre-purchasing tickets and choosing our seats, to be told that the main theater (biggest screen) is closed down, and we have to reselect seats in a smaller theater (and now we can't get seats in the middle of the theater unless we want to be in the first row). No discount or reimbursement, our only option is to get a refund.
And there was a dead 'pixel' in the center of the screen.
All in all, a two star experience. Not sure I'll ever go back to this location

Went in to ask about the merch for Taylor Swift and the staff was kind and informative!
Not only that, but this location is limiting sales of those items to ticket holders and only beginning tonight before the shows. This is a huge way to curb resellers selling $20 buckets on eBay for $200+. Kudos to the team here for doing the right thing.

Our movie theater chairs were completly torn, thankfully the theater was practically empty. Bathroom stalls almost hit toilet, and there was no soap at all in the female bathroom. Customer service was good, friendly and kind.

The taplist here is pretty weak, and the $2 corkage fee is even weaker… never been to a place that charges more than $1 to literally crack open the beer for ya.
Edit to respond to the owner : your cans are certainly priced higher than the to-go options.. a $2 corkage fee is overkill. Paying $10 for a canned brew is outrageous and that’s common knowledge.

Nice quite lake in the middle of a Beaverton neighborhood. The lake itself is quite small, with a short walking path on one side that’s close to the shops in the strip mall. There is fishing in the lake, with a few spots where you can do it from. There is no trail all the way around the lake and one side is apartments/condos. This is not a park as one would imagine and not a picnic spot either. Nonetheless, a nice quiet place to relax and have a drink on the patio of one of the coffee shops or restaurants overlooking the lake. It wasn’t crowded on a weekend.

However, it can get muddy during wet weather conditions. Children have built some impressive structures in the wooded play area that makes this park unique from others in the surrounding areas.
Fun wooded park with hiking trails. The thing that makes this park unique is that there is a designated wooded, off trail play area. Kids have built some cool structures. I wish I knew about this when my kids were little...they would have loved it!

Nice little neighborhood park with trees, mosses, mushrooms, wildflowers, ducks, woodpeckers and songbirds. Today the trilliums were all over the park in huge bunches.

My boyfriend and I went on a walk here this weekend and it is such a nice little park where you can forget you're in a suburb for a while as you explore the area. The trees are tall and provide a lovely forest atmosphere, shading you from the sun and the city. It also doesn't seem to be too much of a busy area, and if you get deep enough within, you can feel like you're alone in nature.

Great forest trail! So many different trails, little ivy, lots of oddly shaped trees.

Loved the park, plenty of walking room and tons of animals. Feels like a nice getaway from the nearby suburbs

Went for a morning walk on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy until around 10am. The park is beautiful with lots of intercepting trails and easy to get lost in if you aren't familiar with the area. A great place for walking the dogs!

A good walk. Plenty of shade and greenery, not terribly steep. It was pretty cold on the day my friend and I walked, so not crowded. I went with my granddaughters one day and they had a blast climbing on things. Bicycles occasionally.

A nice forest with plenty of paths if you want to avoid other people. People do frequent it but it's not too populated. There are several pet waste stations posted about the area as well if you forget a bag. Can get a bit muddy in the wet weather.

Great walking trails, always friendly people but never too busy, and my dog loves it here. Right in our neighborhood, too. There’s even a designated Nature Play Area where you can explore and play IN the goodness, off trail! There’s always some different, cool structures that somebody’s built there with sticks and such.

Great place to walk, run, ride, with a nature play area to build forts with logs, branches, and sticks.
The outside loop is about a mile. The park is super lush and occasionally we run into deer, ducks, and other wild life. Easiest parking, Southwest Sexton Mountain Drive & Southwest Maverick Terrace.

I love this place. I used to live right next door, but now I have to drive a couple miles. It is well worth it. I fell in March over a big tree root, and cracked my rib, so you have to be looking at your feet and go slow because they are everywhere. Still, even with the tree roots and the sound of a coyote I heard yesterday, it wont keep us away. Hyland park forest is a sanctuary for the soul searcher with hidden gnome homes placed by children. My dog loves it! Saw my first ever Owl too. He was huge!

Lots of paths to explore. Nice to walk through a small forest so close to neighborhoods. Some moderately steep terrain but paths are well maintained. Many walkers with dogs who are generally courteous.

What a great tasting room! We learned so much from Matthew. Wow, the knowledge, love and dedication he has put into learning the wine making process is unremarkable. The wine from this vineyard is some of the best wines I’ve ever tasted and the experience we had from Matthew was second to none. I highly recommend!
Heather C — Google review
No menus, no pricing information, no descriptions or names for the tastings, no descriptions of the wines on the tasting menus, no vegetarian cheese board and not even a tasting menu! Got a veggie box, veggies were limp, dry and sad, not edible, dips had no flavor. And I don't even know how much they charged us for any of these things, because they had no menu or pricing anywhere! No receipt provided for our purchase, no pricing info for the bottle of wine we purchased beforehand. And when we got an exorbitant bill, we asked how much the bottle was, and when asked if we could cancel it, she said since the transaction went through they couldn't cancel/refund! Winery with zero transparency, do not recommend. Shady winery! Buyer beware! Go to Ardiri, transparent, well priced, bring your own food and much better wines!
Updates: 7/19: Updating review to 4 stars. Barbara reached out and apologized for the bad experience, and offered to refund our money. When I asked her to come by and drop off the bottle for the refund, she asked us to keep the bottle for the inconveniences and mistakes on behalf of her staff. Very professional and went above and beyond to make it right. So updated the review to reflect that! Thank you Barbara!

Okay to visit once. I am not a wine expert but choices limited and I felt little expensive to buy locally brewed bottle of wine at $60 each. They book a table for two hours limit and if you cancel or don't show up, you have to pay. Don't allow to carry your own snack or munching and what they offer is okay.

Small and intimate wine tasting experience. We really liked learning all about the different biodynamic wines at this vineyard. A generous tasting and wonderful hosts.

We came here for a tasting, and it was probably one of my top 3 wine tastings I’ve ever done. Matthew was so knowledgeable about the wines and shared interesting information on the history of each wine, and answered all of our wine questions. It was so much fun! If you enjoy learning about what you’re drinking, I’d definitely recommend it.

I stopped by on Sunday while driving in the neighborhood.
As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Tally and she was holding a beautiful charcuterie and cheese platter. She told me she would be right back to help me once she dropped it off. She was very sweet, bubbly, and patient with me. She was able to assist me with questions regarding membership. Unfortunately I didn’t have time for a tasting but am excited to come back and experience her service and the wine!

Upon arrival the esthetics of the facility was not promising however, we had an amazing and educational experience with Matthew during our tasting. I would highly recommend. The wine produced by this vineyard is some of the best I have had. Do not sleep on this one.

My friend and I went wine tasting here for the first time for her birthday and I can’t express enough how much I appreciated this place. Matthew was wonderful! Polite, kind and taught us so much! The wine was of course wonderful as well. Highly recommend…. Thank you for a great experience!!

So impressed with the quality, service, and demonstrated knowledge at this cute winery! Incredible history, awareness of environmental impact, and went above & beyond in explaining each wine to us as we had a tasting. We learned a lot but more importantly, enjoyed AMAZING wine. The biodynamic process made much more of a difference than expected to the flavor, and we couldn’t stop raving about every wine we tried - especially the rosè, which isn’t normally our favorite! We walked away with a few bottles (which worked out as a certain spend will cover your tasting fee).
Great service, great quality, and all around a great experience. It is small, so I would definitely call ahead or book a reservation for a tasting.
Not sure what other reviews are referring to in terms of the service or bugs? We didn’t experience any of that and saw no sign of it - maybe just a fluke. It is true that there isn’t a lot of food, just charcuterie, so maybe grab lunch elsewhere and then head over for a tasting!
Abby Chase — Google review
I really appreciated everything about this winery. The quality of the wines was outstanding. Our host Sara was extremely knowledgeable about wine in general as well as biodynamic practices. We had detailed brochures with tasting notes, prices and even maps to puruse as we tasted and nibbled on wonderful charcuterie next to the vineyard.
It's nice to see a Willamette area winery keeping their bottle prices extremely reasonable and keeping chemicals out of their farming process.

One of the oldest wineries in the area. Wines are mostly pinot noir and an unusual white, Tocia Friulano. Inside and outdoor seating. The tasting room manager, Elicia, was very knowledgeable and informative.
Excellent wines, lovely location and setup, very friendly team.
We did a picnic lunch with their Pinot Noir Rose and it was semi-dry, flavorful and not sweet. We brought a Pinot home to try and will return to try their other wines.
Live music on summer weekends. Definitely recommend 👌 👍

Gorgeous grounds and warm inviting tasting room, but their wines left a lot to be desired. We didn't enjoy any we tasted, and the Pinot Noirs were served cold.

This beautiful winery is a hidden gem! If you are looking for a vineyard that tastes older vintages ( think 2014 to 2018) look no further! Their winemaker takes care in the aging process and you reap the benefits as a patron. The wines are beautiful, aromatic and the atmosphere is cozy and intimate.

A beautiful setting to enjoy elegant wine. The staff and owner were very courteous and friendly. The location is close to Portland and easy to find. A large, shady tree over the outdoor seating creates lovely ambiance. A fun Bocce Ball court is available for those interested.

We just spent the afternoon at Hamacher Wines (19 Oct 22) and had the best time! We called today to see if we could visit and the lady who answered the phone (Sally) said she would love to have us. We arrived and were met by Sally who was so enthusiastic and passionate we knew straight away we made the right choice to visit. We were given a taster glass of pinot rose while she explained the wine tasting we could do, buy a bottle or even just a glass. We decided to go for the wine tasting which was 2 white and 2 red. We were invited to sit outside amongst the vineyard and she would bring out our flight of wines! It was so peaceful and a beautiful afternoon. Every wine was delicious and Sally visited us throughout our tasting to check on us and discuss what we had just tried. She also told us to help ourselves to trying the grapes straight from the vine. We had such a nice time, we didn't want to leave and even ordered another glass of wine after our tasting! We have been in Portland for 3 days and this is absolutely the highlight. Thank you to Sally for being such a gracious and warm host!

Fantastic winery! Really beautiful tasting room and outdoor space. The wine flight was reasonably priced and the wine was delicious!!
They don't have a kitchen but they have a super fun charcuterie vending machine. You can pick exactly what you want and the super friendly staff will take it and present it beautifully for you on a board.
We will definitely be back!

Beautiful vineyard real close to town, lovely lawn and patio setting outdoors and tasting room inside. Great staff, super friendly and available to assist. Will definitely be back to enjoy the views and pleasant array of wines to taste (a few whites and plenty of reds). The white Pinot noir was our favorite and took home a bottle to enjoy into the eve!
Sam DeLiso — Google review
The atmosphere is great. For a tasting I was not expecting to be served every wine on a flight board presented in an Erlenmeyer flask with zero interaction from the vineyard staff. They would have sold us cases of wine with education and explanation of this specific vineyard. But we bought nothing additional. It was a shame. I'd never come back here
Beth Jones — Google review
Andrew, at the tasting room, was super helpful, friendly and let us down the paths of both both tastings that were offered. The story behind Hammacher is so fun. It's kind of like a boutique version of Ponzi, which is close by and shares the same origin story.
The H chardonnay was super intriguing, with flavors and characters that I would not automatically associate with chardonnay. It turns out these characteristics are not uncommon in Oregon chardonnay. Oaky in the nose, lightly oaky on the palate, which is always intriguing to me.
The 2014 Hammacher pinot noir is lots of fun with tobacco, leather, dark plum, and 3 or 4 other flavors that I never quite identified. This will require more study.
Definitely leaving with 2015 Belize Vineyard Eola, Amity Hills, and the 2014 previously mentioned.
Thank you so much for your hospitality and guidance, Andrew.

Pros:
+Nice wine
+Decent setting & views
Con's:
+The only food available is from a vending machine. It was tedious to unpackage everything.
+Having to chase down the plastic when the wind inevitably came
I wish they would offer to set up the board. Would've made the experience much nicer.
We have been attending Beaverton Foursquare for more than 5 years. The church has been through a few changes in that time. Mostly good, some sad. It has continued to grow and thrive. It is a place of acceptance, healing, and education. It's a place to be welcomed by the Holy Spirit, a friendly God-fearing staff, and attendees. You initially are greeted warmly by volunteers, and the ushers do their best to welcome each person who comes into the sanctuary. Some people judge churches based on their first experience. But to get to know the church body, you need to make a commitment to get to know others. This church is worth it. We love the worship, sermons, and additional educational classes. This church has become like family. The staff and members have only been loving and accepting to myself and my family. I encourage anyone who decides to come, to turn to a stranger and introduce yourself, and let them know you're new.

Heard great things about this church so I decided to try it out . It was my first time being there, no one said one word to me even as I came in the door, which was a bit off putting . I don’t like how the message is only 30 minutes long and the songs are around 30 minutes, it seems a bit much for me . Now I know why people say sometimes it seems like a rock concert and the focus isn’t on Christ. Like I said heard great things and wanted to try it again, just wasn’t for me!

Mahdad Mansouri who attends this church in collaboration with the Persian “Pastor” of Calvary chapel in Hillsboro banned me from attending worship services at Calvary Chapel over a fraudulent Muslim person for eleven years! I shared my complaint with Christina Chen(Multi cultural/Mosaic pastor); however, she did not care to consider my complaint AT ALL. The fraud amount was for three hundred thousand dollars in a restaurant partnership business with my mother! At that time, my mother was a single mom raising three kids, and we were in extreme financial hardship. At that time, I was an underweight teenager with psychological problems when I grabbed this guy by the shirt, and kicked him once in his stomach outside of the church. Considering the fact that Mr. Kaveh Kaveh Rad knew this fact, he decided to appoint his son as youth Pastor of the church. He didn’t even bother to call me after the fact that this Muslim fraudulent person had passed away in order to invite me back to church. This dead guy did not even end up converting to Christianity, and decided to be buried at a Islamic holy site in Najaf, Iraq. at his request. Anyway, not to go off topic, there would not have been a liability problem in terms of a lawsuit for the church as some would claim, since the altercation occurred outside of the church, and I was under eighteen. I even explained this story and situation to Mr. Kaveh over the phone, and made my intention clear that I only wanted to prevent and protect the Iranian Christians from another fraud case due to this person’s history and background defrauding Muslims from the Islamic center in Beaverton. May God bring down his wrath upon me if anyone thinks that I am altering the facts in any way or form. I even have a witness available upon request.

This is where I attended church in Beaverton and where I got baptized in 1998. I still remember Pastor Ron Mehl. He dedicated baby boy and gave him a letter to open at age 12. I was sad to hear he went to be with the Lord not long after I left Beaverton.
Glad to be back to visit and see the name change with new logo. This is still my spiritual home. Everything is still vivid and still in love with this place.

Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center
The Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center is a suburban nature preserve that offers walking trails, lakes and rivers for hiking, along with wetland trails opening in May. It is a beautiful place to watch birds and wildlife by bringing binoculars. The visitor's center provides educational programming for visitors. This refuge is a true gem of the Willamette Valley and highlights the significance of open public places for nature. Additionally, there are fun activity stops available for kids to enjoy.
Very beautiful wild reserve place! Do remember to bring binoculars to watch birds and wild lives. There are a few walking trails, very easy to hike, along lakes and river. Wetland trails don’t open until May.

We were looking for a place to walk while visiting family in King City. After driving by a couple of times we decided to stop to check it out. We parked in the visitor center parking lot. There are excellent trail maps, clean restrooms, and different trails to walk, with different viewing platforms and interpretive signs. I saw a few people pushing strollers. I didn’t think it would be very easy for a person using a wheelchair because of the deeper gravel paths. A power chair may be better suited in some areas. The visitor center is excellent and offers a large viewing window with a place to sit or darned and look out, as well as a couple of telescopes. The visitor center has great information, and in our experience was staffed by a very knowledgeable volunteer. I was so happy after finishing our walk. What a great treasure!

I've been here several times and I appreciate the ability to see birds in a wetland environment. The facilities are modern and the staff are friendly and helpful. Great viewing platform which is open year round. Not all trails are open in the winter months due to the migratory birds overwintering there.

How can we preserve our trees and bring back nature wildlife to its original habitat? Not just Oregon, but California, Washington and others states that have suffered in these terrible wild fires. How can we keep alive and safe, not just now, for our future generations? Should we destroy our trees this year in celebrating Christmas? Can we save millions of trees, these young "saplings" from being destroyed this year.?? Can these trees be saved? Not just trees we want to preserve and save, its wild creatures in our backyards, at our parks, big forest, and mother nature outdoor. We should try to express our feeling to others and open our ears and listen to those that suffered from these fires. Put your words out there and express yourself, feel free. Let's save our land.

This is one of our favorite places to walk near Sherwood. The sunsets are gorgeous. The wildlife are full of surprises. Some areas are digested and others open. In midsummer, there's a captivating wildflower and earthy scent that fills the reserve. It makes me smile. Please keep in mind some trails are only open part of the year for nesting birds. Also, no pets and no running here. Great for bird watchers!

It was a lovely walk.
They have one trail that is open year-round and then a seasonal trail for the drier months (open through September). There are different environments to walk through, wooded areas and grass lands. Lots of waterways.
There is a visitor center but we did not have time to go in.
I like that you can loop through at various places so you can walk 1, 2 or 3 miles and still end up where you started without back-traking.

This was a magical experience. Come here if you'd like to see multiple species of duck, a great blue heron, and a swimming beaver all in one binocular frame as Canada geese and white egrets soar above you. Yes, even in the rain, I highly recommend this refuge!!!!

Didn't get to go inside the visit center for long, but overall the entire refuge was well cared for. It's so nice to have a place to hike or just stroll along good paths, see birds and other wildlife closer to their natural habitat, etc. If you have them, it's great to have binoculars with you too see some of the birds better that are further out.
I'll mention this mostly for awareness: please stay on the paths, off the logs in the creek, etc. We are visiting the wildlife in their homes, temporary or permanent - and need to treat them respectfully. This time that we went (early March) was also during bird mating season. They ask people to try to be quiet so they don't disturb them. As we were walking, a couple times there were a couple small groups of teens on their own. They were talking, sometimes yelling and laughing really loud. I do want kids to get out in nature and enjoy it, but I'd also like it if they learned to be respectful towards the wildlife. Ah well, I'll keep hoping and be sure mine understand it's important, and why. 😉 We'll keep going when we are able. 🙂
Ps. Maps asked me if you need to buy tickets in advance...I want to make sure everybody knows it doesn't cost anything to go there, park and hike on the paths. They also added additional parking spots in the last couple years, so there's a bit more room for everybody.
One of my best experiences in a food pantry. Really helpful and loving people here. I was really moved on their kindness.

St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church is host to a group I attend three or four times a year, and over the last several years (pre-pandemic). There is adequate parking for our particular group, including ADA accessable parking. The bathrooms are clean and well-appointed, also adequate for our needs. Immediately off the room in which we meet, the kitchen affords us the opportunity to have either lunch or a snack prepared and served with ease. The public address system in this room provides those who use it a voice to all the corners of the meeting room. We have been pleased to have the opportunity to meet at this venue.

Our family has been a part of Southwest Hills Baptist Church in Beaverton for just over a year. We have appreciated the children’s programs for our little ones such as AWANA, VBS, and Sunday school classes. We also respect and enjoy the Biblically-rooted teachings each Sunday. I have enjoyed the women’s discipleship program, and the opportunity to connect and engage with women of various walks of life through this, and other women’s ministries here. It has been easy to get plugged in with this congregation.
