The Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum boasts a collection of historic aircraft, including the world's largest. Visitors can also enjoy a water park and 3D theater. The museum is staffed by friendly volunteers who provide an entertaining experience. While the admission price may seem high at $20 per adult, it is understandable as the funds go towards restoration efforts. Overall, it is a great place to explore aviation history and learn about incredible airplanes and space technology.
Okay. First, this place is awesome. A lot of history and interesting information, as well as many famous and incredible airplanes and such. The space side was even better. The volunteers were very nice, and we were well entertained. My only gripe is the price. And while I understand the importance of them making money to fund the restoration and everything, $20 an adult seemed high. $15 seems better, but I'm splitting hairs. No regrets, and my wife and kid enjoyed it!

We're lucky to have the air and space museum so close to us. Each time we visit, we always find something that we missed before. With plenty of great planes on display, the Spruce Goose, and the space museum next door, you could spend a day here easily. Staff is friendly, helpful and informative. There are snacks and a gift shop and a free water jug if you get thirsty. The facility is layer out nicely and a self tour is easily achieved.

This is a very interesting place to visit and it is appealing to all ages. There are airplanes hanging from the ceiling and a few small amusement park type rides for the kids to enjoy. They had a pretty good crowd on this Saturday afternoon. There is a small restaurant inside and also a large playground outside for the kids as well. This is a clean, well organized and very informative facility. All things to do with flight are on display here and you will not be disappointed.

I haven't been here since before COVID, and I realized they have lost some of their aircraft (along with all of their armored vehicles), but it is still a great experience.
The museum is well maintained with tons of information and the aircraft are just amazing. There is obviously the Me262, which is incredibly rare and an incredible feat of engineering, but I was surprised to see other weirder aircraft there as well. For instance, I had never heard of, let alone seen, a Mojave. I was also excited to see that they have a Mohawk, another very interesting (and rare) aircraft.

What a wonderful experience! Staff/volunteers were very friendly and informative. So much information along with visual stimuli. Took several hours to visit both buildings and see planes outside. Of course, the Spruce Goose was the star attraction!
Autumn Ray (Wake-Up) — Google review
A fun place to explore for kids and adults alike. The biggest (literally) attraction in the Aviation side is the 'Spruce Goose', of course, and it is certainly a sight to behold. It is an incredible feat of engineering and the sheer size is astounding. But there are plenty of other cool aircraft to check out. Stop by the gift shop for some souvenirs!
The Space side is very well put together with easy-to-read history and rare artifacts from space missions. The tallest attraction there is the Titan II rocket which sits in a 3 story silo and reaches up towards the roof. The SR-71 is also really cool to see in person.
Hit it at the right times and you can sit and visit with veterans and experts in the various exhibits and learn history directly from those who experienced it.
Overall we had a great visit and look forward to going back when we are in the area again. 🚀✈️

Amazing museum. Parking is so easy there. Ticket prices are okay in general. Volunteers did a great job in facilitating the visit and they were available if you need any information. The museum is divided into two separate buildings, one as aviation museum and the other as space . Both are amazing. There’s a huge opportunity to take different photos. You should try the simulator during your visit .

I have always had a love of aviation. Case in point, I once asked to go to the airport for my birthday to watch the airplanes when I was little. That being said, Evergreen is one of my favorite places in Oregon. I now have a membership, and I love taking friends and family and sharing this place with them any chance I get. P.S. The water park is a blast too!!

For someone who is not really interested in airplanes, this was a really good airplane museum. We got to see how a part of the Aviator was filmed, were able to go into airplanes and see the history of flight. Unfortunately we weren't able to go into the planes outside since the workers said the door wasn't opening and closing correctly on those planes. The kids really liked the outside airplane themed playground. It is accessible outside without admission.

Very cool museum. From someone that is not from the area, it is in a non-conventional location … about an hour south of Portland if you happen to be flying into Portland International.
My tour guide (optional) was great. Very knowledgeable and fun. This tour was just under an hour.
First Come First Served extra cockpit tours of the Spruce Goose are a must. Sit in the same seat Howard Hughes sat in 75 years ago.
I highly recommend the entire day as there is so much to see … I only had 4 hours and regret it. Will have to come back!!

Awesome museum and we’ll worth the trip and price of admission. Multiple buildings so don’t miss out.
It’s incredible to get this close or inside of one of these beautiful planes. So much information you could spend a day here.
Any staff we interacted with were incredibly nice and helpful.
Come out. Learn. Enjoy. And make sure to look up, down, and behind you. There’s so much stuff packed in here. The spruce goose, the blackbird sr 71, and so much more.

We've been here a bunch of times with our kids. Our last trip was with our Scouts BSA troop. The museum is really generous to scouts! We were able to camp on the museum grounds, and the staff was really excited, and really engaged with our Scouts! My son was really happy that one of the guides let them behind several of the barriers to get up cost and personal with several of the planes.
The museum is really excellent, and has a ton of interesting and historically significant artifacts, including the Spruce Goose, which is really impressive in person. The museum is divided into two main collections - air and space though the space museum has a bunch of planes and helicopters - including an SR-71!
They move things around and swap stuff in and out so that it's a different experience every time, though there seems to be a core set of planes that are always there -including the Spruce Goose obviously.
The theater plays mostly educational films related to flight or space in some way. They were playing a 3D movie about birds and a movie about Saturn's rings when we went.
The staff mentioned that the museum is under new management, who has plans to expand, including adding a restoration facility, a couple of hotels and some general improvements to the facilities. I believe they also mentioned a possible expansion of the water park. I don't know how concrete those plans are, but it would be cool to see the water park expanded - as is, it feels a little small and doesn't keep our kids interested for more than an hour or so - though having all of the water sides start out inside a 747 is pretty novel.
Overall, I highly recommend the museum. If you have kids in a scouting organization, like Cub Scouts or Scouts BSA, that goes double!

This place is huge! There is so much to see and explore and learn! Beautiful facility! Amazing to see all the wonderful technology and how far we’ve come. The diversity of planes to see was unbelievable. The cafe has basic food but they have a cafe nonetheless. I would say you need at least 5 hours checking this place out. I highly recommend this place!

A friend had told me about this museum prior to my recent road trip and I enjoy a good aerospace museum so I figured I’d check it out…
All I can say is WOW! I was absolutely floored from literally miles away when I saw the Evergreen 747 perched on top of a multi-story building, and it only got better from there! The variety in the collection is impressive, the architecture is stunning, and the staff were super friendly and helpful.
I had to force myself to leave so I could continue north, but I could have spent all day there. It’s a must-see museum for aviation and space enthusiasts.

This was a surprise! I mostly went because my husband and son wanted to go, but it was great! The Spruce Goose is incredible and there were several sections of the space exhibit that made me emotional. We even met the gentleman that worked on the Atlas Rocket Booster. So cool! Definitely make this part of your vacation!

A must see Air museum for any aviation enthusiast and a great place to visit for just about anyone. The kids will absolutely love it as there are all kinds of aircrafts and a section dedicated to space craft and travel – the space museum. A big added attraction for kids (or perhaps the main attraction, depending on the ages and interests) would be the Wings and Waves water park. Would recommend spending at least a couple of hours in each exhibit hall – the air and the space museums. Of course one might end up spending more time at the air museum exhibit hall where the main attraction Hughes H-4 Hercules ‘Spruce Goose’ is displayed. There is a special tour of the Spruce Goose provided and you should factor in some time for that as well, should you decide to take it. It wasn’t crowded at all when we visited and you can spend enough time at each aircraft display, get to know more about them and their amazing history, take pictures.
You could take a break between the two exhibit halls as you can come back into the museum, the tickets are valid for multiple entries. This way you don’t overwhelm yourself in one straight stretch and get the most out of the trip. There is plenty of parking spaces available but it’s a good idea to get there early, especially if you are planning to spend the whole day visiting the museums and water park.

This museum is fantastic! There are a lot of aircraft and space exhibits that all have videos or placards explaining their significance. The space museum has more interactive areas for children than the aircraft portion, but both are filled with interesting things to see and learn. The Spruce Goose is awe aspiring, and seeing it in person is way more impressive than online. If you take it slow and read the placards and watch the videos, this easily makes for a few hours of fun for the family!

This is a great regional museum; the Spruce Goose is something everyone should see at least once!! I love the collection of airplanes and helicopters, but the Space exhibit has always been Luigi to the Airplane's Mario. Such a bummer they lost the bid for that Space Shuttle years ago. It's still good though, don't get me wrong!! The vibe is just a little different, with all the replicas. I'm surprised they've never added a Conference Center and hotel to the overall campus.

My family and I have been many times and it never gets old. The amount of stuff on display is incredible and the staff are some of the coolest people you could ever meet.
Plus if you're a member of the Gilbert House in Salem admission is free according to your membership level!!

One of the best air museums I have visited. Super clean, plenty of birds to look at. Separate museum for space items. Lots of fun.

This place is worth the visit. You get the chance to talk with the engineers and pilots who have flown the planes or operated the engines that were tested for the early space programs. These people gave such warm welcome to me that I would've wanted to stay there the whole day. What a awesome place👍

This place was phenomenal. As I walked through the exhibits, I thought to myself, "How in the world did mankind make these marvels?" Everything from the Spruce Goose to the lunar vehicles. Inspiring!

Outstanding collection of aircraft including famous one-of-a-kind Spruce Goose (Hughes H4 Hercules) and relatively rare SR-71 Blackbird with a more complete collection of its associated camera and sensor modules out for display than I’ve seen before. Exhibited aircraft are well-spaced and well-lit for easy photography in a beautiful indoor museum facility (not just a hangar). The docents were extremely knowledgeable and spent time educating and answering questions. A private tour of the Spruce Goose flight deck is available- well worth the extra charge.

Willamette Valley Vineyards McMinnville Tasting Room
Had a wonderful time sipping and wine-chatting with Alaina and her young beau.... both are so knowledgeable! Can't wait to try some of the local favorites they shared with us!
Andrew Wilson — Google review
This was our first stop in our vineyard hopping. The tasting room is in a cute little town so if you have time, spend some time walking around the town. The tasting room itself is nicely done and very cozy but keep in mind that this is a tasting room in a town so it's not a vineyard. Their pinot noir itself is very good and you can't go wrong with it, just go in with the understanding that this is more of a shop and does not have an outdoor/vineyard location.

Don’t usually post reviews but had such a poor experience I wanted to mention it here.
Wife and I arrived at 5:00. We had been given free wine flight vouchers that we had been saving for our Anniversary. Walked in and started talking to the hostess about cribbage, because we brought a board with us.
After finishing the cribbage conversation we let them know we were there for the flights. Another employee comes up and in a rude manner points to her watch saying it is too late to use the vouchers being a few minutes past 5:00.
The reason we were there was to use the vouchers, so we naturally decided to leave and will not be going back. Very poor experience here.

My son and I were in town visiting the Evergreen Air and Space Museum and we found downtown McMinnville. When we arrived, it felt like we walked into our friend's house. Everyone at the bar was wonderful. Jeff took great care of us...explaining the wines and the history of the Winery. We are by no means wine experts. We just wanted to enjoy a great bottle and relax. Jeff made that happen. The atmosphere and live music rounded the perfection of this hour we spent there. Great place. Looking forward to coming back!

We had a reservation on Sunday, and although we were some of the first ones through the door right at 12, the reception was warm and welcoming and the staff were happy to open the doors to us.
This was our first stop that day and we were pleased with the wines and the service from Alaina!
She was able to share a couple of low inventory wines which were extraordinary. We purchased a couple of bottles and cannot wait to visit their new tasting room.
Thanks again, Alaina, for teaching me to pronounce Tualatin! :)

We visited the tasting room on Friday evening for their live music event. Jason took my reservation and seated us exactly where I requested. We had a nice chat with him at the bar when we arrived, trying to decide on which varietal to enjoy. We settled for a beautiful bottle of Chardonnay and spent the next hour+ enjoying the wine and music from our cozy corner. A really enjoyable way to spend the early evening!

I'd highly recommend going during their happy hour, which is $5 pours for whites and $8 for reds.

There's also open jam music night every Thursday at 6pm - 8pm.

I was a little disappointed in the downtown tasting room of Williamette Valley Vineyards. The tastings are very limited and the staff wasn't very helpful. I still enjoy their wines but it's worth the drive to the vineyard.

Wings & Waves Waterpark is an extensive indoor water park with a range of exciting attractions, including a wave pool, interactive displays, and waterslides. The facility also features Howard Hughes' Spruce Goose airplane, which is constructed entirely of wood and on permanent display. With designated areas for toddlers and children aged 5-8 years old, there are plenty of options for family fun.
So much fun!!! We went here to celebrate a family friend’s birthday. My youngest daughter had the most fun in the wave pool. The teenagers loved dodging the water from the giant bucket, and went down the water slides a lot! They had life jackets available to use, which was great for my youngest daughter to feel comfortable in the water. The lockers were easy to use and very convenient. It was a great day!
Living One Day Today — Google review
Cheaper to buy tickets on their website in advance and double check their hours. They charge $36 admission even if you don’t touch the water which is extremely ridiculous. There are no lounge chairs or anywhere to recline, even the cabana rentals don’t have them. Must bring your own towels. Much cleaner/less slimy than GWL in WA.

So much fun for the family! We have kids ages 13 to 5 yrs, and they each loved it! There are two different kid areas, one more for tollders and one area for around 5-8 year olds. The place isn't huge, but with reservation restrictions it's not packed. The 4 big slides are fantastic!
There is a food court, with food court quality and high prices. I would say skip that if you can, but with 4 hours of swimming we couldn't avoid it and opted for churros and dole whip and a whole pizza to share. After this we are headed to the museum. We will be back for sure!

We went with the kids and grandkids. It was fun and the kids had a great time. It wasn't over crowded. The place appears to be well maintained. The food was average for this type of venue. However the prices were what I would consider reasonable. The only gripe is that they have a couple of basketball rims in the leisure pool. There were about 6 or so teenage boys playing water basketball(?) And it just seemed ridiculous that they would integrate this into what they call their leisure pool. It was a very creative idea to place the 747 on top of the building and integrate the water slides into the aircraft. Excellent idea!

Oh my gosh never been here before we went and absolutely loved the place and for the price I thought was a little high at the time when I made the reservation, but when we got there it was well worth. it has lots of slides lots of things for children to do yes they have rentals for floaty tubes,, and lockers you can rent ,they have a nice snack bar upstairs lifeguards all over very professional very nice. We will be going back again. Had so much fun.

This is a mixed review - customer service is great (in person) however the pricing is horrible (from a business & accounting major/owner). $30 if online per person just to get in. No outside food or drink allowed beyond a water bottle, which kind of pushes you into their food services. The Milky Way Cafe, $34 for a pizza, $4 average per drink, add in rentals for a locker or tubes and my family of 5 cost was about $225. There is a tidal pool, where they show a movie. A splash pad for 2-4 yrs, a smaller slide section for younger kids not big enough for the big slides. Leisure pool/hot tub. Then the major slides. As a local to the area I would love to take my kids here more, but I just can’t afford it.

This place is a must go to if you have children. It is a lot of fun and the rides are great. They have a cafe there and the food is pretty good. I would highly recommend it and then go to the Air Museum next door.

We have been going here and you will leave for the last 7 years. It's much more expensive now that ownership has changed hands. They did however make an exception because we came as a party of eleven and one of our relatives was visiting from Michigan and we forgot their ticket. Even though they were at full capacity they made an exception and let our relative in. That was really great. Plus it's free for kids 3 and under

The family had a blast! I struggled to get my kids to leave. My favorite part was the wave pool. All of us dads were glued to the big screen, and as the 49rs were playing the Jaguars, all of our kids drowned. I'm just kidding. That's what the free life jackets are there for. My sons favorite part was the waterslides. The lines go by as fast as the ride itself, so that's a plus. My daughter's favorite was the water play skate with the smaller waterslides. I love how attentive the lifeguards are. We ended up getting a cabana and ordered some pizza. The service was fast, and the pizza was okay, I would say a solid 6.5/10. The locker room, as well as the bathrooms, are kept clean. I would highly recommend coming here 👌 on a side note: bundle as much as you can online. You will thank me later.

I was reading all of the reviews on here the night before our water park trip and it had me worried but Idk if it’s just Karen’s who post anymore, but we had a great time. The place was inviting, clean, and the water was warm (in all pools except the play park water area in the back of the facility). We ordered a pizza (and yes, the cabana employees were attentive) and it came out great. We got our tubes without a problem, and we had a blast! The green slide is awesome! I only wish we were allowed to bring cake in, as we were celebrating a birthday but I get it: it’s a water park and it’s still during covid. Hot tub was open, lockers were working. If you’re going, don’t fret all the one star reviews. We all cant wait to go back!

We had an amazing time! Facility was clean, staff was incredible and as a 39 year old Mom I’m e sure I had a better time than the kids did. Cabana is a must if you have small children. It was convenient to rest, feed and put down for naps while the rest played!

We had a really great time for the most part. My 11 year old son really enjoyed the water playground and actually I did as well. They have a big leisure pool with a hot tub that is on one side and a Whirlpool on the other that we all enjoyed as well. The wave pool is on the other side and somewhat fun it’s pretty shallow and the waves are small but enjoyable. We rented a mini cabana which was nice just bc it’s a bit loud and it was a nice retreat to know for sure we could come back to and keep our things.
WORST PART 😷💩🤢🤮 the stairwells leading up to slides haven’t been cleaned in ages and it stinks so bad of feet and mold that you can literally see everywhere. I’m not a complainer either but it was really gross and was the main reason why we only did three runs on the tube slides. Even my son was grossed out. From the stairwell you can see all the mold that’s on the floors throughout the rest of the park which is gross as well. The family bathrooms/showers are super gross (we didn’t go into the main showers but I’m sure they are the same) the shower curtain was covered in dark colored mold and I highly recommend wearing showers shoes throughout the entire park. They SERIOUSLY need a cleaning regimen bc it was definitely the dirtiest water park I have ever been to.
They only have a small amount of free tubes so we rented some but hardly used them bc the lines were kindof long and STINKY. It’s definitely an expensive place to visit and your ticket is only in four hour blocks of time so you feel a little rushed to get your moneys worth. With how expensive it is you would think they would have the resources to have a cleaning team. They do not clean this place at all. Seriously.
BEST PART 🤗🛟
The lifeguards are very diligent and did a super job making me as a parent feel like my 11 year old was safe as he climbed and played and swam throughout the park. Good job lifeguards thank you!!
We would totally go back if they cleaned up a little bit. They should close for a couple days deep clean and then implement a regular daily cleaning schedule to keep people coming back or from coming at all really considering this seems like the number one complaint. Thanks though we did have fun besides it being stinky and moldy everywhere

Super fun place to visit but very scrappy food options for 4 or even 3 hour reservations. No outside food or drink but not too fairly accommodated. YOU can buy pizza by the slice for $6 and a few other miscellaneous snacks for way to much but not "FOOD". Other than 4 options they accommodate everything else fairly well.

Cool place, Had one of the kid's bday parties here. Got a room which was huge plenty of room. 50 people easy. We also purchased a cabana or whatever, lol. So we had a place to chill at the wave pool and watch the kids.
We ordered their pizza and cookies. You can't bring in your own cake or cupcakes, etc.
Good cookies though. Chocolate chip.
Pepperoni & cheese pizza was decent!
Kids had a great time. And that's all we care about!

Not likely to return. We'd heard promising things, but were overall disappointed. The four hour time slot was more than enough; the experience is completely overpriced. For what you're paying to get in the door (which you pay even if you don't end up swimming), the condition of the facilities is less than desirable. Tired, dated, and overall gross conditions throughout the building. In four hours, we saw no one cleaning/picking up during our entire time there. Hair, fake nails, bandages, gum, and spit were present, especially on the stairs up to the waterslides. A March Madness game was on the big screen for the first half of the time slot, but then just left to local news for the rest (lazy and cheap). Also, the water, except in the small side leisure pool and hot tub, was COLD throughout, as was the overall inside temperature. Disappointing all around.

If you bought the ticket you can stay in there for 4hours. 2 years and under are free. They have family changing rooms but only 4 of them. So busy I think you can use men or women changing rooms are easy way. They have 4 different big slides. Your kids measured height first. They’re tall enough or older enough they can handle it but if they were young they can go toddler size slides or little kid’s pool area too. Pretty big places. They have life guards but so loud and noisy. A lot of people are there you’re always watching your children. Restroom isn’t bad but not good enough. Shower booth don’t have hot water. Only cold water available so my youngest daughter was crying when I shower with her. Foods are pricey but not bad. Crews are kind. Plenty of parking places. Teenagers had a great time. One of best places for family.

We only stayed one night, but had a wonderful time. We were, predictably, late to arrive. And it was the "Wine Wednesday" night, so the place was a bit crazy. No matter. We were greeted warmly, invitingly, and shown to our nice, albeit not huge room. Wine Wednesday was a lot of fun. Lots of people, inexpensive food, craft beer, and the winery's wine. Oh, and free music and beautiful sunset views. The (included) breakfast the next morning was really, really, good. The wine tasting was not bad also.

What a perfect spot for enjoying some wine tasting! The ladies were nice, very informative about the wine and super friendly. Their upper deck area offers plenty of outdoor seating with the most stunning views! Definitely recommend.

My wife and I stayed for close to a week out at the Inn and had an amazing time. Becky and her staff were attentive, amazing and accommodating.
The grounds are beautiful, and the local animals including Pepper, Nutmeg and Ginger, were a delight.
The wine was delicious and varied, and you can tell they staff are excited about their products and know them well. We relished each tasting.
We definitely plan on returning soon.

I stayed here with my wife and could not have had a more pleasant time! It was raining for part of the time we were there but the views were amazing when it was clear. The wine was excellent (try the Grenache), and the food and people were great. Definitely check it out.

Absolutely beautiful property and quiet getaway for my hubby’s bday! Tasty wine and dreamy views. We loved walking the grounds and enjoying the company of cows, chirping birds and vineyards. Breakfast was 5 star too. We cannot wait to return!

My daughter and I took a father/daughter wine tasting trip. We were looking for something quaint and quiet but were having trouble finding a two bed configuration at a B&B. Youngberg Hill had the perfect configuration with their Cellar Suite. Two spacious bedrooms each with a king and fireplace. Shared bathroom but that worked out well. Friendly staff (Becky and Michelle)and great artisan breakfast. Nice tasting room and beautiful hilltop location overlooking Willamette Valley, the coastal mountains and the Cascades. We even fed the Scottish Highlands cows on property.
Over the top impressed.

I spent the weekend at the Inn with my adult daughter for a girls weekend and it was a lovely place. The location in the vineyards, the Inn, our room, the view and the friendly staff - all was great. The issues were they closed the tasting room without notice on our last day which we planned our complementary tasting so no tasting, there was no filtered water for water bottles only tap water on site and the worst was on our last night there was some issue with a gutter outside our room and it made noise from 2am to 6am which prevented me from sleeping. I reported it the next day so future guests would not experience it.

My fiancé and I only planned on staying one night with Youngberg before heading back to Portland but ended up calling back after we checked out to stay a second night.
The staff was so sweet and accommodating. It is so clear that they love what they do. (Shoutout to Giselle, Becky, and Sarah!)
We stayed in the Jackson, which was so much space, clean, and cozy. It was also great to have a view of the cows and goats in the morning. Breakfast in the AM was absolutely wonderful and you can’t beat the view!
Thank you Youngberg for such a perfect stay! We will be back for sure!

We had a nice stay here and enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting. The staff were all very nice & made us feel welcomed & cared for. The breakfast was delicious & the kitchen happily made a change requested. I only selected 4 stars for the room since 2 out of 3 roller window shades wouldn't work until my husband fixed them (you're welcome). Can't appreciate the views when they are obscured! We also feel that for the room prices charged, breakfast really should be included.

My friend found this small inn for our winery tour stop in Oregon. It was a magical and peaceful experience in the middle of vineyards and rolling hills as far as the eye can see. The room was very nice and updated, the breakfast was healthy and very filling. The complementary wine tasting was very nicely done and the wines very good. We ended up shipping a case home. Definitely an overnight stop here if you’re in the Willamette Valley.

Playground in need of repair. One slide has a huge jagged hole at the end of it, so it's unusable and dangerous if someone doesn't notice it before sliding down.

The McMinnville city park is absolutely nice, both for a stroll around the park on the well maintained trails, a picnic at the provided tables, for the kids to have a good time in the iconic playground. The bathrooms are standard park, but when we visited, they were newly cleaned and not gross at all. Nice place to spend a couple of hours on a sunny spring day.

A pirate ship? A dragon?!? My 2 and 4 year old kids LOVE this playground. We drive here 1-2 times a month from Newberg. Only problem is that it’s so big and has so many sets of stairs and walkways that it’s hard to keep up with more than 1 kid.

Quiet with workers attending to landscaping and garbage can change out when I arrived. Some odd/suspicious individuals wondering when I left.
The Eyrie Vineyards is a family-owned winery that specializes in Pinot noir and Pinot gris varieties. Visitors can enjoy guided cellar tours and tastings of their superb wines. It is one of the most popular wineries in the Willamette Valley, along with other notable wineries such as Domaine Drouhin, Elk Cove Vineyards, Chehalem, Argyle Winery, Sokol Blosser, Rex Hill and Willamette Valley Vineyards.
Make an appointment! With appointment you get a group tour and informative tasting. I would suggest this as one of your first winery visits because of everything you'll learn. We had a family member of the winery go through several wines while the group was seated around a table with some snacks in the middle. He explained the area, the soil, the history, and the differences between the taste of their wines. This is a must for your first trip to Willamette Valley!

Come for the wine, stay for the experience. My wife and I did a wine tasting at Eyrie and we loved it. Top notch selection of wines in their Exploration Flight. What we really enjoyed about our experience was Taylor, who is a wealth of knowledge and an absolute delight - we learned so much from her about the story of the winery and each wine we tasted. She exudes an infectious passion that makes you lean in all the more and enjoy each wine more fully. World-class experience. Highly recommend, look forward to returning.

These are honest wines tasted in a place that allows the focus to remain on the wine. Absolutely splendid. A life changing wine experience. I will never forget this. And Tim if you read this, I am coming to pick grapes next year!

We received excellent service at the tasting room from Abigail--we got to hear the interesting history of the winery as well as a full description of the wines. Highly recommend the 2014 Pinot Noir--nice tannic balance to the fruit.

Truely, one of North America's original wineries (for Pinot Gris at the least). It shows in the authenticness of the tasting room, the staff (during our tasting, the winemaker came out from the back rooms and spent a while pouring & discussing this year's harvest), and not the least, the wines. Very convenient location, affordable wine, and when it's not busy you can get some great interesting information.
Dave — Google review
Maybe the best Pinot Noir in Oregon, made in traditional Burgundian fashion, crafted with love in this unassuming, family-run winery, from the first plantings in the Willamette Valley. The staff are super knowledgeable and friendly, I particularly like Jacques, who is basically John Oliver from the Daily Show but with a French accent. They also hold quite an extensive library and regularly share them in the tasting room by using "the Elva," a converted classic bottling machine that reminds me of a 1950's car. Don't be scared off by the unimpressive look of the building from outside.
R Stuart & Co. Tasting Room & Wine Bar is a charming storefront that offers visitors the chance to sample their impressive selection of wines, alongside small plates and craft beer options. The staff is knowledgeable and welcoming, making it an educational and enjoyable experience for all who visit. With a variety of different flights available, guests can explore the various wines offered while receiving expert guidance from the accommodating team members.
Malorie, Lexie and Casee were so welcoming and knowledgeable. I appreciate everything you did to make me feel like part of the R. Stuart family. The wines, the wonderful Bubbly (especially the Rose D’Or). Cheers to all of you. I’ll certainly be back to visit. 🥂❤️

Disappointing. We made a special trip to this tasting room based on reviews. We were a little pressed for time and asked to taste a specific wine. She instead quickly poured 2 other wines before hand with out much explanation. She then walked away to talk with another couple and her partner offered to ring us up. We bought a bottle but were surprised to be charged for 2x tastings as well. The wine tasted good enough to support maker but the experience was sub par. She shared her experience was limited to this shop and it showed.

Pike Road pours an exciting variety of single vineyard wines for what carries a lot of reputation weight in the Willamette Valley - think Zenith Vineyard, Shea Vineyard - and they do so at decent prices (comparatively), loads of kindness, and no pretense. Mike, who poured for us, was all of the friendly and knowledgeable that you could ask for. Happy to recommend this charming place and their excellent wines.

Amazing, delicious, budget friendly, local wines, and stellar staff in the tasting room. This is the sister winery to Elk Cove. Gallery Theater in McMinnville is a delightful performing arts venue managed by The Gallery Players of Oregon. Since 1968, this community theater has been known for its exceptional productions. With affordable ticket prices and comfortable seating, audiences can enjoy great views from any seat in the small but intimate theater. During intermission, patrons can purchase alcoholic beverages upstairs or find snacks in the lobby. The facility may be old, but it still offers a pleasant and cozy atmosphere for watching live performances.
Gallery Theater always delights! "The Sound of Music" is a fabulous show, with some wonderful vocal performances. The seats are comfortable, and they have wheelchair seating as well, the views are unobstructed, with good sound and lighting. I always have a great time at Gallery!

We moved to McMinnville four years ago and missed the Lakewood Theater in Lake Oswego. We had been season ticket holders there for 20 years. Our expectations for shows at the Gallery Theater were low but we were pleasantly surprised. The theater is quaint and very nice and the artists were very talented. We plan on seeing every show that is offered.

Gallery needs to grow regarding unconscious bias and anti-racist work. In the show's I have seen here I believe I have only seen one BIPOC cast member. I see the same white kids and adults over and over again cast in every show (seems like it's mostly just about who you're friends with, which is also not a great look for a community theater). I'm certain it is not simply that only white people are auditioning or qualified. And even if that were the case, that is a reflection of Gallery theater's lack of outreach to communities of color in our town. Please implement training for these important issues. Everyone deserves to see themselves represented in theater. Diversity makes us all better.

The McMinnville Antiques Mall is in the heart of downtown Mac on main st. As a grand historic place dating to the late 1880s, this gallery emporium of delights has a quintessential flavor of a time machine. Step inside and you can’t help but transport your imagination as you stroll through it’s cavernous, curated aisles. The locally, quilted patchwork of personal shops provide a unique, living experience of worldly treasures. You’ll find sentimental artifacts, the mundane elevated and rare collectibles often hard-to-find. It’s clean. It’s vibrant. It’s growing new avenues to surprise and enchant. Those who enter can transcend the everyday for a few moments or spend hours haunting this kaleidoscope filled with creative adventures. What are you waiting for: step inside and see what you find, I did!!

Great park. Some dog owners don't clean up after their dogs which makes us that do, worry about repercussions. Love to walk the dogs off leash when others are not around. Hate to lose this ability. Saw a movie in the park on Saturday night. What family fun. Some homeless lurk around the perimeter with some drug users. Not good, but not a bother in the day. Women alone should be cautious.
Our host was highly knowledgeable in all things Brittan. We were the last guests of the day in an empty tasting room so it felt like a private tour of the Brittan vineyards. These wine are comolex but delightfully surprising. Intriguing the three pinots are and palates kept changing as we changed our minds which were our favorite. Tom ruined our day because no other tasting could come close to the experience we had at Brittan!
We went to a dozen or so wineries over three days and Brittan ranked at the top of our list. Their approach to wine making is very science based and it shows in how they talk and present their wines (and by the chromatograms in their bathroom haha).
On top of the lovely setting and people, all of their wines are amazing and unique. It is one of the only places we went where we were blown away by every. single. wine. we tasted.
Great job to Brittan - we could not recommend a stop there enough!

Wortman Park offers a charming and compact disc golf course. Unfortunately, the signs were only in good condition for a short time before being damaged or destroyed. Additionally, the park tends to become overgrown and exceedingly muddy during rainy periods, necessitating drainage improvements to enhance accessibility in grassy areas. Opting to park on the west side is advisable due to a prevalence of homeless motorhomes on the east side.
Nice park and conveniently located. I just wish the disc golf areas were marked or didn't exist at this location.. nothing quite like having a sharp piece of plastic flying at your face while walking with your child and dog.

Great little disc golf course! The course signs were great for the week they were there before they were damaged and many destroyed beyond recognition.
The park gets overgrown and terribly muddy when it rains, could definitely use some drainage work to make the grassy areas more walkable in the rainy months.

So much room to play and the best frisbee golf course in town. I suggest parking on Lafayette Ave side.

Park on the west side( McDaniel )because the east side is all homeless motorhomes. Nice park easy to find all the baskets and tee boxes. Mostly straight shot holes. Easy casual play. The park has a lot of potential if it is ever maintained again.

My 2-and-4 year olds loved the unique style of playground. Restrooms were closed and there were TONS of downed trees due to a recent storm.

Great park. This place has great events for kids of all ages. We've had art day and a solo artist concert there. Mcminville library holds great events there regularly.

This park has a wonderful play structure for children. Some fairly nice picnic areas that I believe can be reserved. There is also a 12 hole disc golf corse that is perfect for all levels of players. It's located close to a few stores that make it easy to get picnic foods for the family. There are also some easy paths to treck with pets. All in all, it is a wonderful place.

Very nice and peaceful park. They seem to have cleaned up the old RV camping mentioned in previous ratings - there is a sign at the entrance that indicates that RVs and camping are prohibited - yay!

Plenty of water fountains and benches scattered throughout the park. They have a disc golf course set up through the park as well. They have multiple large group areas with barbecues, plenty of picnic tables and counter space at some. 2 playgrounds set at opposite ends of the park. Also a lovely trail system that goes over two small Bridges. The park has lots of large developed trees that provide plenty of shade. :-)

Wortman park is great if you love big beautiful trees and exploring. The playground is fun but we usually end up following the little creek and to play on the bridges and find water skippers. There are many hidey holes in the trees to peek in as well. Lots of cute squirrels!!!

Cool park; the playgrounds are nice and the park is dog friendly. The restrooms and picnic areas are a little shady. That’s where most of the drug use occurs.
