The Black Ball Ferry Line operates a car ferry service departing from a terminal for trips to Victoria in Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Passengers can easily check in and board the ferry for a 90-minute ride that costs just over $100 for a driver with their car and one passenger. During the journey, passengers can enjoy views of the surrounding islands and scenery, which are particularly stunning on sunny days.
It was easy to check in and for the ferry ride. It was just over $100 for driver w car and one passenger. We will having a 90 minute ferry ride from Los Angeles WA to Victoria BC.
So, no more tables available for placing our sequence game. I went back down to the car I got my wife's cross stitch bag. We don't want her to be bored with the rainy day ferry ride.
Enjoy a nice weather day if you have a chance. The views of the islands and such are wonderful during a sunny day. Smooth ride ahead!

We took the MV Coho from Port Angeles over to Victoria on Thanksgiving. It was a wonderful way to start our holiday. All the staff we interacted with were sweet, friendly, and nice. The package deal we got via the ferry was inexpensive. Sailing at 8 am is lovely, refreshing, and beautiful. There are duty-free stores, a gift shop, and a cafeteria. Not a very friendly price in the cafeteria so be prepared for a mini-dent in your wallet.
I felt like this is the best way to Victoria. The seaplane was too noisy, and the Clipper too bouncy. The only complaint I had was that seated are not comfortable and that is enough. Also having a seat in front of the bathroom is annoying. Such a poor layout and design. Overall it is a great value for what we pay.

Location has a lavatory for use while waiting for the ferry to dock. Not much shade. There is a waiting room if you don't wish to remain in your vehicle. The ferry itself is pleasant. There's a couple different viewpoints from it. Food was reasonably priced that I can remember. Volume didn't feel like they matched the price. Very effective use of space for vehicle loading within ferry, however it is very tight. Great on a beautiful day to be outside and just soak in your surroundings. Might even see some marine life!

Our third trip on the COHO. Wonderful time. They do a great job lining us up and getting us parked on the vessel. The ride across the strait is lovely. We sat up top for the sunshine but managed to stay out of the wind. Was fun to dance to the silly song they play. Didn't see any whales.

This became a whale watching ferry trip for us! Two swam very close about half way through the trip (photo included). Comfortable, spacious, and a fantastic cafeteria with allergen-free foods. The swag shop was so inexpensive! The ferry was also inexpensive and buying tickets online was so easy. Super friendly crew and 360 degree access to viewing deck. The Mountain views were unbelievable. Drive in and out was simple and clear and felt so safe. Queue was well organized and quick! People-only tix are so inexpensive and I’d do this before paying for a whale watching tour (we went early AM).

I boarded the ferry as a walk-on passenger. The crew and staff were very polite, courteous, and helpful. They ensured you knew what side of the ferry to get off on, what paperwork you needed to have to get into Canada, and what you need to have to get back into the United States. Bathrooms were very clean, the ferry was very well taken care of, and I enjoyed my ride with them.

Great ferry very easy to deal with. On time. We brought a car over which makes you have to be in line a little longer but that let you line up first and then walk around. Both ports have enough to do for a lunch or just being on the water. Great experience overall.

The ferry is pretty nice with free wifi and all. The facilities are pretty good and there is plenty of room to spread out. I went on the 9:30 cruise across the strait to Victoria and the sunset is beautiful. The embarking and disembarking process is pretty smooth.

Definitely book in advance, especially with a car. Overall, it was a very timely ferry trip, and had a smooth process. The boat ride itself was easy, albeit tight for space, and you cannot ride the ferry in your car - you must go upstairs. This is probably common knowledge to many, but was news for us. Overall, I definitely recommend this method to visit Victoria.

The Black Ball Line has a long history operating ferries in these waters, but since the 1950s is reduced to a single ship, the M.V. Coho built in 1959, on a single route between Port Angeles WA and Victoria BC (Vancouver Island). During my most recent round trip in August 2023, with several friends and a 20 foot pickup truck, I found the service continued to be well organized, on-time, clean, and well-maintained to the best of my observation. There are plenty of places to ride, both outdoors (including the bow) and inside. Simple food and drinks are available, as well as a small gift shop. Boarding and disembarking ran smoothly, questions were answered clearly and graciously, and it was an excellent trip both ways. Vehicles are packed together very tightly aboard, which can make it difficult to get in and out.

This was a surprise trip from Washington to Butchart Gardens Christmas lights. My husband found a package deal with a round trip Ferry ride, one night at a local hotel, shuttle, and entrance to the Gardens. The ferry ride was great and took an hour and a half from Port Angeles to Victoria. The ferry staff was helpful and friendly. The MV Coho was in great shape, considering her age and amount of service! My negatives are the boarding and customs process. There wasn't any designated lined areas to begin boarding. Everyone was merging in, and it was a bit confusing, BUT most people were patient and tolerant. The food prices in the Galley were a bit steep, so some people had brought their own food. Overall, it was a great way to start and finish our adventure!

We took the trip from Seattle to Port Angeles for an overnight stay in Victoria. With the COVID restrictions, we weren't sure if travel to Canada would be possible I called and spoke to the staff at Black Bell and they walked us through each step. They also let us modify our reservations when our COVID tests came back early. The staff is knowledgeable and provides excellent customer service.

We walked into the ferry in Port Angeles and took it over to Victoria. Our 2 round trip tickets were purchased online and cost $91. Picking up paper tickets at the ferry terminal and going through customs was very easy. We walked and used the inexpensive island bus system when we got there.

Always great service and punctuality at Black Ball Port Angeles .
Small snack bar and gift shop aft.
Upper deck with available extra seating.
Not inexpensive. About $200.00 ROUNDTRIP.
BUT......it's better and faster than swimming.

Smooth operations from ticketing to arriving with a few small hitches. Warning that the public lot across the street was full 2 hours before disembarking. Waiting room is spacious and clean. We left 30 minutes late. The ferry is a great vessel, fun to look around. The galley has lots of items and is usually opened right away. I got through the line just before everyone else rushed in, on both trips I had a bagel, a drink from the display, and ice cream. As much as you can stack in the cup for $4.50. I found the touring prices to be competitive and you get a 10% off galley food coupon. Gift store is fun. The duty free items weren't great. I'd recommend more local brands.

The ride over the water was very smooth. The staff are very organized. It was quite windy and rainy, but we enjoyed the deck, and my granddaughter went to the upper deck. However, the chili in the store is terrible and overpriced. My wife got severe stomach upset because of the chili which may be used and reused, and not fresh. Restrooms are clean the process of loading and offloading is quite smooth. All in all, we had a good time.
MUHAMMAD Ayub — Google review
This is a great , affordable way to get to and from Victoria BC, as either a walk-on or via car. The car decks are pretty cozy (even compared to, for example, Seattle ferries), but the crew does a good job of cramming all the cars in. The upper decks are spacious with plenty of seating options, either on the weather decks or inside. The galley (cafeteria) is basic but has lots of good choices. Bear in mind that, unlike other car ferries, you will not be able to stay in your car for the 90 minute crossing due to the international border (Coast Guard requirement).

This was such an easy ferry ride! The terminals in both Port Angeles and Victoria are super clean. We did not have a car on this trip, we were just walking. Nice waiting areas with bathroom facilities that are easy access. Staff were on hand to help make sure all appropriate forms were filled out prior to boarding. The ferry itself is very clean and well maintained. The seats were comfortable enough we slept most of the 90 min trip. When we needed a snack the cafe had a good selection of pastries, soups, sandwiches, chips, fruit and candy. As well as a variety of drink options.

Take your Dramamine if it's windy.
Good and friendly service. They answered all of my questions.
When booking keep in mind you have to be there 60 min early on the states side and 90 on the Canada side, so this cuts into a quick week trip.

We had an amazing trip both ways, to & from Victoria BC. This Ferry line runs so smooth. We had zero issues either way. The ride is beautiful, the ferry is large & very clean. All the staff was very friendly. We got on & on perfectly. The employees have it down to a science. Thank You for 2 wonderful trips! We will be back!

Olympic National Park Visitor Center is a popular place to visit in Port Angeles, Washington. It has exhibits about the park and information about activities like hiking and backpacking. There's also a kids' Discovery Room. The center is open daily 8:30am-5:00pm.
We were visiting Olympic National Park for the weekend and decided to stop in and let the kids get their JR ranger badges and see what else we could learn while there. This is a fun place to stop for kids that need to get their wiggles out. The Park Rangers are so helpful and know how to have a good time with the kids. I highly recommend a stop in when visiting Olympic National Park. Small gift shop, clean restrooms and lots to learn as well as walking trails straight from the parking lot. Also a great photo OP area with the welcome sign which has easy parking near it for photos. Enjoy!

Lovely visitor center that feels more like a small museum. There’s plenty of clean and informative exhibits here and fun activities for children. There’s even a theater! There’s bathrooms outside and they’re pretty maintained. Also bear cans in the back.

Very nice visitor center! Went with family, my niece and nephew enjoyed the kid's discovery room with lots of activities for them to do. The museum was very interesting mainly focused on the wildlife in the area. Gift shop was a small but decent variety of items. I was pleasantly surprised they sold the National Parks Passport sticker sheets, I did not come prepared and did not bring my booklet to get a cancellation stamp so I was able to purchase a sheet of the stickers to stamp. They also have a Junior Ranger stamp next to cancellation stamp for anybody wondering.

Olympic National Park has three entry points for best views and hiking
Hurricane Ridge
Sol Duc & elwha river valley
Crescent lake.
The HOh rain forest needs an extra day to visit and is on the other side.
My favorite was the Sol Duc trials, water fall and hot spring. Saw many deer and fawn grazing early in the morning

Absolutely breathtaking! By far one of the best national parks I’ve been too!
The drive up is breathtaking and the views hiking are memorizing. Tons of ravens and mule deer to keep company with on our hikes.
The visiting center and rangers were very helpful! Lots of information and fun to explore and learn new things about this regions ecosystem and wildlife.

Another great visit to the Peabody Trail (way less muddy than my Feb visit) and got to explore the Living Forest Trail and visitors center this trip. Great trails for a little Mother Nature time when you aren't in the mood for a hard/long hike but want some heart & soul soothing 💗

I love this park. The hurricane ridge is a super developed hike with a road going all the way to the top. Highly accessible while offering insane views of the Olympic mountains, Mt Baker, and Canada. A must see on the Olympic peninsula. The visitor center here is one of the nicest as well.

This is the park's main visitor center and is a great source of knowledge for your trip. The exhibits are fun and very interesting. Expect to pick up all the souvenirs you can handle from the gift shop. There is also a live camera feed of Hurricane Ridge so you can plan your trip into the park before you commit to the drive.

I own an America the Beautiful pass so no paid entry for me. No one really checked for my pass though, strangely. There's a lot of residents around the park. Campgrounds too.
Hurricane Ridge VC burned down so the area has limited entry to those trails. A bunch of back and forth to get to stuff.
My day trip included Devil's Punch Bowl, a couple of trails around Lake Crescent, Madison Falls, then up to Elwha Trailhead to see the ocean. Elwha entrance looks like a private residence which it is, but the public has trail access behind the gate. Limited parking.

Not a large visitor center, but with very helpful people. Also the bathrooms are outside so possibly available when they’re closed.

Not a drive thru park even if the roads are good and well maintained. Tons of trails. Went to Hurricane Ridge and Madison Falls today. The road was washed out after Madison Falls toward Glines Canyon Spillway. The Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center burned to the ground in May this year. Still beautiful views. I will update as we see more of the park

Great place to stop for information on the park, not only just hurricane ridge info, but also the coastal and Hoh rainforest

The introductory video provided an overview of the variety of landscapes that the park preserves. The museum area is minimal but does offer a 3-D map of the park, so you can see the lay of the land. The comfort station (restroom) is a welcome attraction when one has been out and about for some time.
There are two trails here. We took the Living Forest (1/2 mile loop). Except for the short uphill section, the walk was in and out of the shade. Offered a variety of trees and plants and a nursey of new life.
Madison Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in the Madison Park, which is a popular destination for hikers and mountain bikers. The trailhead is accessible via paved path and has excellent views of the river and the mountain. There are also some benches to sit down and enjoy the view, as well as a small bathroom nearby.
Good reward for a small walk. Good parking and massive bike paths, river and mountain views from the parking lot. Small Bathroom, path to the falls are paved. Small bench to sit and enjoy the falls or you can go into the gully and feel the spray on your face. Great waterfall for 3 minutes of walking.

If you're looking for a super easy hike to a waterfall this is the one. It's a .2 mile hike on a paved road. I didn't give 5 stars because it isn't much of a hike.
The trail runs through a forested path and ends with a nice viewing area of the falls with a bench to relax on. It is also safe/easy to climb down to the base of the waterfall and enjoy it up close and feel the mist on your face.
We were able to enjoy the spot to ourselves for about 30 minutes and it was amazing, but I think we were lucky because it was around 5pm and we came in between rain storms. As we left, 5 cars in a row pulled into the lot.
The lot is small, maybe for 25 cars. There is a vault toilet and no other amenities at the trail head. At the lot there is a large river across the street which is beautiful. This trail is handicap accessible with the paved trail and great for little ones to view an amazing waterfall with little effort.

Easy and very short little walk - you can take a wheelchair on the trail. It's easy to walk down to the bottom of the falls. Plenty of parking and there is a restroom. Beautiful big moss covered trees. Nearby is A fast running river and walking trail.

Visited on cold, cloudy day. The short walk to the falls was a consideration as to which nearby attraction to visit. We had a person with a knee replacement to accomodate. Still, a beautiful falls not to be missed even if you're a hard core back packer. The small viewing area is easily overwhelmed. Everyone there was willing to help each other take photos which helped move people quickly through.

Very very easy walk from the parking lot to the waterfall. The trail is maybe 200-300 yards long and flat. The waterfall is relatively small, but pretty.
There is a latrine bathroom (no running water) and picnic tables at the trailhead as well. Nice spot for lunch with views of the mountains and river.

Although this review is coming in late, my visit last summer was unforgettable. It's an incredibly easy hike, perfect for groups - our party had 5 adults and 9 children, and we all had a fantastic time. There was plenty of parking, and the surroundings were simply beautiful. Our 45-minute stop was just amazing. Highly recommend for a quick, family-friendly adventure!

Road to springs washed out as previous reviewers have said... loved the area regardless. Really don't understand why they don't have the rd fixed so it can be driven. I was so happy we made this stop - we were getting close to Elwha Valley and my friend suggested going to park entrance and dipping our toes in water. Had seen a few photos of Madison Falls and suggested we do that too. It is a super short hike .2 miles and trail starts by bathroom. But what a stunner - saw several people wading in the waterfall pool and after the left, had a few minutes to dip my toes in the water and get a few photos. LOVE IT!

I can't overstate the ease of doing this trail for such a wonderful waterfall! It's paved, relatively flat, and short. Having such a beautiful fall that easy to access is amazing! There are no posted NPS entrance gates here so admission is free! Parking lot is pretty big, but it can fill up in the peak hours, so recommended checking it out earlier in the day or later in the afternoon.
Harbinger Winery is a boutique winery that specializes in crafting premium, delicious wines using unconventional grape varieties and traditional favorites such as Albarino, Cab Franc, and Barbera. Visitors can enjoy the cozy ambiance of the tasting room surrounded by aging barrels of wine or bask in the sunshine on their outdoor patio while sampling some local beers on tap. The walls are adorned with stunning local artwork that enhances the overall experience.
There are not enough words to say how lovely my experience was at Harbinger! With both outdoor seating and indoor seating options, this place had a lovely aesthetic feeling! There are cute things to buy inside and a nice patio outside. Our group had both tastings of red and white and I had a glass of red - it was all awesome! Our server, Kristin, was absolutely stunning. Not only did she give us great insight on all of the wine options, but she entertained us with the history of the winery itself. Kristin made sure we were comfortable out on the patio and even treated us with some tasty chocolates that complimented the wine.

No idea how the wine tastes, but can definitely comment on the customer service... Had a conversation with the server, ordered a tasting and were told to sit anywhere. We love the view from this tower. It's an easy climb on marine heavy duty stairs that are nice and wide, too. You can see the town, the wharf really well, and there's plenty of room on the platform.
Although the whole town basically has great views due to tiered coastline where the mostly uniform building heights rise evenly and do not obstruct the vast Strait of San Juan de Fuca and Olympic mountains!

Wonderful location but would advise visiting during the off season. I've been here many times and although it's beautiful in the summer, it's crowded as heck and will just spoil the fun with the gobs of tourists. Great place to see and enjoy beutiful nature/town.
The gallery features a selection of art, as well as sculptures located among trees. The architecture is beautiful and the surroundings are picturesque. It's one of the best places to visit in Port Angeles, and the art always looks great.
It's a large park with a physical art museum. The park walk is decorated with art pieces around beautiful trees. Easily a hidden jewel in port Angeles.
The national park was five minutes away and had a line of hundreds of cars. The museum on the other hand had three cars parked here.

Art center was closed, but the outdoor sculpture park was a fun stroll. It's a few acres of woods and meadow to explore looking for the artwork. Being outdoors, some works are in better shape than others, but looking them on the various winding paths was the entertaining part.

A peaceful and serene wonder. Loved the indoor art gallery but the sculpture park was outstanding. Strolling through several acres of heavy shade (trees, ferns, ivy, etc) interspersed with eclectic and thought provoking art sculptures and poetry. Absolutely would do this again

Lovely little indoor/outdoor gallery in Port Angeles. The natural forest gallery outdoors is a beautiful concept and really interesting. The art pieces both blend with and stand out from the nature around it, some pieces are truly incredible. Only concern was that the path was bumpy and difficult at times for those who might find walking in the woods a challenge - definitely wear sturdy shoes - and take a walking stick if you might like extra assistance or balance.
Inside, there wasn't a ton of art going on, but the art was nice - and the staff and volunteers really sweet and welcoming.
One nice touch was in the courtyard (which itself was quite pretty). There was a box of handmade art where you could take a piece or leave a piece. Very sweet concept!

We really enjoyed our visit today! The staff was not only warm and welcoming, but regularly did rotations walking around and answering questions. We had a super personable experience and learned a lot about the area for next to nothing $6 per adult entry. The tanks were clean looking, each display was well labeled, and sea life seemed to enjoy being there. There was also an exhibit recreating the bay estuary at Hollywood Beach which was super cool to have an explanation of the little environment there, animals and seaweed, that you could see before swimming (or not swimming) while viewing it through the window! Nice skeletons of turtles, orca skull, a truly thoughtful space that is small but packed out with exhibits. I hope they expand one day to include the octopus and more like the staff talked about!

Though a small center it is well worth the trip when in town if you have young children! Our group brought two kids under 5 and it was great for them. Being able to touch the animals and see them moving around the tank was really interesting for them. The other tanks just for viewing had fascinating displays and good information. Best of all was the volunteers! As adults the volunteers were truly engaging and informative, showing multiple creatures, explaining special things about them, and really making it a great experience for the entire group. A great stop in Port Angeles!

Myself and my partner (two adults) visited the centre and really enjoyed it. I was a bit apprehensive thinking it was just a space for children to enjoy (and I would love to bring my nephews one day!), but we had such a great time.
The touch tanks were so neat to experience, and the employees at the centre were so informative. I feel like we learned so much about the local sea life during our short visit.
I was really bummed we couldn’t experience some of the local tide pools during our visit to Washington and this really made up for it.
Well worth the admission fee, worth stopping in to see !

It's not SeaWorld or a big city aquarium but Feiro is great! We took 5 kids here on a Saturday and it was a fantastic experience. The staff and volunteers were very knowledgeable and helpful. Their passion for the marine life of the area made exploring beaches and tide pools more enjoyable during the rest of the trip.

A great learning experience. Learn about the creatures in the tide pools. You can touch and feed them. Very interesting and fun.

Volunteers and staff are awesome. We had a great time with the touch tanks and learning about the novel water system the facility uses. It was a cool experience, and 100% worth the price.

We went before going to hole in the wall and I am so glad we did. It gave us a greater appreciation for the local marine life that we later saw in the wild. It is a small center, but that means you can get some one on one time with the staff and ask questions. I learned more in half an hour here than many aquarium visits. Definitely worth a stop as the entrance fee is minimal and they are worth supporting.

Stopped in with my family not too long ago and it was an amazing experience! The crew working was incredibly knowledgeable and you can tell that they enjoy what they do! Having two kids under 6, I really appreciated their level of communication and care when engaging with and answering my kids questions. We learned a ton, the kids got to feed sea urchins and we even walked out with a great book recommendation so we can continue the learning and exploring at home!

We had a great time here and found it very educational and it has inspired us to learn more about marine life. Excellent informed and welcoming staff, I hope this place gets more funding. The staff explained the various marine life and we got to touch and learn about loads of different sea creatures. Well worth a visit.

My 4 year old grandson enjoyed the sand table with toys and looking at the tanks with sea life.
They need lighting on the tanks and the glass cleaned as it is difficult to see things in a few tanks.
Small informative center with friendly staff. Beautiful murals painted outside on the walls of the building.
Nice murals inside too.
Great viewing tower on the dock.

This was a unique excursion into a quaint, yet informative little marine center. Being a novice to anything ocean related, I enjoyed this very much. It was fun to touch the sea urchins, sea cucumbers and the starfish. As I walked along, one of the workers stayed close by and readily answered my many inquiries. If she was busy with other visitors, there is ample info all over to read and learn. It is very small, but had a ton to read, see, and discover. Bummer that the octopus was in hiding. I’m not sure I would have liked it if more people were there at the same time because it wold be a little claustrophobic and less likely to be able to utilize the touch tank. Try to go when it’s slow, but definitely go! It’s well worth the $5 entry.
Great location to learn about the Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary! Open weekends from 10 am - 5 pm during Fall through Spring.
Open daily from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.

Small space with exhibits on the Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary. Free admission. Can be hard to find. Outside double doors on the second floor leading to upper parking level, then right.

Interesting, informative, and worth the quick stop for an eye opening education; particularly for children.
We really enjoyed this playground. There are two play structure areas: one for younger kids and one for older kids. My son is 3 and was able to go on both play structures without any issue. There is a caregiver seating area between the two play structures that provided some shade. There are multiple slides, a zipline, and a bike and skateboard park. It's a beautiful play area that seemed well thought out.
The only slight negatives were: (1) that while the turf was soft, it got really hot in the sun; I had a hard time standing in one spot because my feet were getting uncomfortably warm and (2) the merry-go-round took out a few kids (including mine). It spins really fast, and the bar is right at head height for the younger kids.
We will definitely make this park a stop every time we are in town.

We love this place! It's truly a town treasure. There's something for everyone - tennis, skateboarding, BMX, playground, calisthenics, also nice parking lot, bathrooms on site, plenty of garbage cans, and it's pleasant blocks from Swains and the electric cloud coffee shack where you can get coffee/ ice cream / Dole Whip / smoothies / tea / cookies / scones + things when you get hungry.
BREE PASKIEWICZ — Google review
Soft turf grass with spongy base covers the entire area. The structures are colorful, newish, and age we'll since it's sturdy plastic made to look like wood.
There's a bug kid area, a little kid area, swings, a zipline, and a gazebo to rest.
There are washrooms adjacent to the playground, and ample street side parking. Parent can chill on benches inside the fenced playground, but there are no tables for parties, and limited shade.

Awesome park. Great for kids and families. The pump track is awesome as well. And there is a skate park on top of all that. Very impressed by all the different things available for all the different ages. Highly recommend this park in Port Angeles!

A fantastic playground, facilities for toddlers as well as older children. Excellent wood carvings surround the playground. See pics to see what's there. Our 21month old loved it!

This is absolutely one of the BEST parks we've been to. There's a great baby/young toddler section that my 2 year old really enjoyed. It does start to gather the rowdy teenage crowd around 6pm which was a little bit of a bummer (wouldn't have minded if they weren't acting a fool, nearly knocking little ones over). Nevertheless, a great way to tire the kids before bedtime.

Fantastic park! Musical instruments for all, zip line, slides, toddler zone, kids zone, and a calisthenics zone for adults and teenagers! The bathroom has an amazing echo (I sang in it). Lots of photos already posted showing the awesome park so I'm sharing some shots of from the information board on the calisthenics side.

My family stopped here to play before we were headed up to Hurricane Ridge and we're so glad we did! Such a fun an imaginative playground. Lots of different areas to play and explore the huge castle like structure. We will definitely be stopping here again!
The Elwha Klallam Heritage Center is a beautiful building that showcases the history and culture of the Elwha Klallam people. The venue is great for events, and has excellent acoustics.
Great place to rent kitchen and for picking up some tribal shirts sweatshirt blankets. And lots of other thing's

Very beautiful building. Large arching laminate beams support the roof on wood columns that hold lath drums with hammered copper heads. At front center is a stunning copper sculpture of leaping salmon. The pendant shades are held by wood spines that resemble a canoe paddle. Great hall for meetings with good acoustics.

I use this building all the time as a tribal member, however they do rent rooms in this building for meetings and parties...it's absolutely beautiful.

The Elwha River Casino is a small and cozy gaming venue located in the heart of the Elwha River Valley just minutes west of Port Angeles. It features more than 130 electronic slot machines, including favorite 3-reel games, making it a local favorite for those seeking some slots entertainment. The casino is also known for its friendly and polite team members who are always willing to help patrons.
Fist time I ever won at this casino. I've only been here a couple times. They're team members are really nice and polite and always will to help you 😊

Okay, so maybe I am a little different than most. I find these small casinos to be much more relaxing than the big ones. The people were very friendly and the slots seemed to be closer. Plus they have my favorite 3reel games. No food yet but it is on it's way. A fun way to spend some time while exploring the area.

I had such a good time here! The staff were so friendly, the atmosphere was relaxing, and they have some games not at the other local casino. It's off of a road out in the country- not off of a busy highway, so it's more enjoyable getting there.
Julie Torell — Google review
There is no people in this casino. So, the rest of us have to pay for it by giving us low odds to win. I spent $500.00 and had no luck at all. I haven't seen anyone win!
UPDATE: Okay, I may have been a little heated when making the earlier review. Since this review they've made up for it with GREAT food. Oh, and I almost forgot..... A $12,300.00 JACKPOT !!!

Wow a manufacturing business that isn't in outsourced countries, truly american-made. Good quality heating accessories and components made by skilled workers, I should know I'm one of them. So if you're cold, get some heat.

If you want to support the tribe, then this is a great place to make your donation. The chances of winning anything here are slim to none. I say that after years of being a semi-regular patron of this establishment. The employees are wonderful, and the food was really good when they had the cafe which is closed now due to expansion/ construction. If you go, good luck.

Can't win enough to even have a nice evening. None of the bonuses pay enough to bring you back up so you can enjoy a few hours. They just eat your money and give no wins.
Michele Anderson — Google review
I go there about once to twice a yr and I have only won one time the first time I was there all the other times of spending $300 to $1000 didn't win nothing and when I would be lucky enough to get a bonus it would totally suck. 53 spins on a $1.50 bet barely gave me $100 I put $300 into the game. If they want more people to come they need to start giving people a reason to come back.. totally sucks I would give them 0 stars if it was possible the one star is for the employees they a nice people that was the only good thing about the elwha casino

The remodel is beautiful. I was bummed the restaurant was already closed on a Saturday night at 8:00. I'm happy they left the self serve beverage area. And it's always nice to leave with more $$ than you came with!

Beautiful casino. Never been here before. We were just passing through and stopped to have some dinner and get out of the car for a bit.
The restaurant was new we were told and it was wonderful. Our meals were delicious 😋. The staff is very friendly.
Won a bit and that made it even better.

This place is kinda small and if you're ready to lose your money with the quickness, then this is the place to go. I've been to this casino at least a dozen or more times and I'm lucky to catch 1 bonus round before the machines take me on every single spin. The win to lose ratio here is insanely low....

Brother Townsend Band absolutely nailed a fantastic performance for an intimate crowd last night. Brett Townsend writes all of the lyrics for their music and its compelling with all the backstories! Check them out, download their music, and catch them live at a venue in the future!
Moni — Google review
Worst casino ever. It should just have a donation box at the front door and stop giving people false hope of a win. Rarely has one of their Machines even produced a win that was larger than the bet,let alone given a bonus round that pays more than five dollars. What a scam. Definitely won't be going back. To anyone who reads this it's worth your time and gas money going to 7 Cedars

The Port Book and News is a great place to find books, magazines, and other items. They have a large selection of titles, including puzzles, maps, informational books, and fiction for adults and kids. The store also has a second floor balcony that is full of books. The staff is friendly and helpful, making it an excellent choice for anyone in the area.
Perfectly adorable shop with a great selection of a little of everything. We always try and stop at the local bookstore when we're travelling, and this was one of the better ones we've been to of probably 20+ shops. Very cute. Employees were lovely and its located in a great spot.

We often browse through the store while waiting for the Coho ferry to Victoria and have always been impressed by the selection of books and the warmth and professionalism of the staff. Recently I asked if they had Gorbachev by William Taubman which I had looked for in vain at Powell's Books in Portland. Port Books had it ... what a place.

Very nice bookstore with great selection of books. Can find something for everyone here with a wide selection of mugs and other gift items, lots of puzzles and maps, informational books, a whole second floor balcony full of fiction, and a big kids section too. Bookstore hosts a virtual reading club as well. Also window displays very cute and pull you in. Could spend all day here.

It is a Holiday tradition to browse the windows at Port Book and News. We have taken the same photo for 6 years. Then we browse the store for gifts. In a normal year, they offer cider and cookies at the front door. I'm glad we got to keep this tradition in 2020.
