The Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center is a spacious museum with interactive exhibits, walking trails, and a theater for shows and ranger talks. Visitors can explore exhibits that follow the path of the adventurers, while friendly docents offer additional information beyond the displays shown on laminated maps. The center provides clean facilities including restrooms, outdoor gardens with signage for native plants, ample parking including handicapped parking. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate easy access to adjacent trails and views of the Missouri River.
Arguably the best part of this museum is the staff (the same does not apply to the gift shop staff … that was a bad experience) they were knowledgeable, fun, and really seemed to enjoy their jobs. Aside from the staff, the museum itself was well done. The exhibits were well explained and told the story of Lewis and Clark with clarity. One item of note, at the end of exhibits are a few cases of guns, go to that case and look at the top most gun at the front. That’s a replica of the repeating air rifle, a true marvel of engineering and what the Indians were shown as Lewis and Clark traveled. Imagine seeing a rifle that didn’t need gunpowder, was quiet when shot, and didn’t create muzzle flash. That’d be fairly amazing to see in a world of muzzle loaded weapons. Anyway, highly recommend place to visit.

Had the entire museum to ourselves for two hours on a cold, snowy January day. Great family outing for kids 5 or 6+. Plenty of tactile displays, a unique journey along a carpeted “river”, and good reproductions make this a very interesting way to interact with history. It’s presented from Lewis and Clark’s perspective, but I thought it fairly well-balanced in respect to indigenous participation. Would definitely go back!

This is the cutest place and definitely worth the visit. It seems to be run by the cutest retirees with a passion for educating others.
My seven year old participated in the junior explorer scavenger hunt and it was a great way for her to engage in the museum and learn a lot! The exhibits are really well put together and very interactive. If the weather was nicer we would have checked out some of the trails. They looked beautiful though!

Clean and nice center with lot of informations. Very friendly staff. I spent a few hours here with my kids and they loved the photo hunt a lot. The exposition is well made and full of interesting things. It gives you a good feeling how that all was. Even for me and I’m from Germany. Nice place.

Nice center with pleasant staff. Clean place, clean bathrooms. The various displays appeared to display more of the positive side of the Lewis and Clark expedition(s), but kind of glossed over some of the "not great" aspects. I think it would have been beneficial to give more of an explanation of the not great aspects of the journey, the explorers' encounters with various Indian tribes, and treatment of women.
Separately, there are nice walking paths outside, with nice views of the river. The cost I think is $8pp, unless you have a national parks pass (in which case, you'd get in for free). Military also get in for free.

Amazing place! It is full of history and great for all ages! Butler the Newfoundland dog makes it even better! He’s same breed of dog that Lewis and Clark took with them. We highly recommend it

The Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center is an amazing star in the crown of Great Falls. With so much information about this incredible journey, it is all put together in a highly comprehensive, and wonderfully interactive manner. Kids love all of the hands-on exhibits.

Friendly docents who are more than happy to share a little extra info beyond what you see on the map of displays. Laminated maps are disinfected after each use. Spacious theatre for shows and ranger talks throughout the day. Many interactive exhibits. If you have a National Parks Passport book, don't forget to get it stamped here! Talk a walk around outdoors to see the Missouri River. Easy access to adjacent trails.
Large lobby, clean restrooms, bottle filler/water fountain, hand sanitizer stations. Outdoor gardens with signage for native plants. Ample parking, including handicapped parking.

We had a great time here. Our kids learned so much, heck we all did! Doing the Lewis and Clark bingo or activity book was fun and also helped you slow down and read stuff. I walked through here like 3 times. Free souvenir for completing it is pretty nice too, not cheap plastic stuff.

Really nice museum that explains in detail the Lewis & Clark expidition west through the newly purchased Louisiana territory to find a route to the Pacific Ocean. It is worth the stop.
The C.M. Russell Museum boasts an extensive collection of works by the renowned Western artist, as well as his home and log studio on display. The main level features galleries filled with Charles M. Russell's art and other artists' works, while the lower level houses historical displays such as The Bison exhibit, Browning Firearms Collection, Dale Ford Wagons, and Contway Bronze Collection. Additionally, visitors can observe bison roaming on less than 10% of their original territory outside the museum walls.
The most well maintained collection of Midwestern heritage. Everything in Charles Russell's home looks usable. Amazing collection of Native ceremonial accessories. Much larger museum than expected don't miss the bottom floor the gun collection is amazing.

We finally went for a visit. Friday and museum was not too busy. Took our time. Very well laid out. Great info beside pictures. Very good collection of C M Russell art. Also lots of native art and memorabilia. Make sure to make time to visit cabin and house just outside the main museum. Beautiful and so nice to c both in such condition. Admission was very reasonable. Looks like there’s more to come. We will be back to check. Sure glad we stopped!

Museum for C.M. Russell, an iconic painter of the West. Primarily paintings and drawings, with some sculptures. The are other exhibits of contemporary and modern artists showing the West as it was, as it was mythologized, and how it is. Outside of the museum are the house and studio of C.M. Russell. Highly recommended for those interested in the Old West.

I'm a big fan of Charlie's work; such a thrill to see his paintings in person! My only complaint was that there are so many blank walls, perhaps exhibits that had been removed?? but all in all, it was a fantastic destination and I learned so much about the artist's life and the old wild West.

Very, very nice gallery. Worth the money for artist exposure. Make sure you have the time, it took 5 of us 3 hours without reading every sign. Great gun display for the western fans. Nice works from different collections and surprising finds throughout the gallery.

A great museum of the world 🌎 right here in Montana - make at least a half day of it and be sure to visit his studio and house along with the entire gallery - you won't regret it
Paul Robertson — Google review
My wife and I visited yesterday. The collections there are outstanding and the display is great. To really see and take-in all that is there would take several visits. The only reason I don't rate this as 5*s is that the staff is standoffish and cold. There was no attempt at even a friendly greeting, nor offer of guidance on best ways to tour or see the museum. So much more could be done in this area to improve the visitor experience.
Giant Springs State Park, situated in Montana, houses one of the largest freshwater springs in North America and offers a 30-mile trail. It is a stunning destination for nature enthusiasts with its picturesque scenery. Visitors can explore the area's natural beauty by capturing photographs or videos while enjoying the serene atmosphere. Additionally, Rainbow Falls and Black Eagle Falls are other nearby attractions that visitors can visit to enjoy their time spent in this beautiful state park.
Our first-time visit, awesome views, great place to see waterfalls, rock formations mountains, some wildlife, and tumbleweeds + crazy wind that NO hair spray will survive ! Bonus..check out the Missouri River in Montana. Check it out for yourself !

This is so worth coming to. So easy to park, entrance is free. Giant Springs is a treasure for the area, they attached fish hatchery is interesting and very quick to learn about how fish are spawned and then sent to various lakes and streams around Montana.
The park is great for walking along Rivers edge it is paved and flat it is a beautiful walk good enough for people on walkers canes and wheelchairs all will have access to this incredible walk along the river.
When's walking others happily greet you with a hello, it seems others in the area are so happy to be here.
There are all kinds of birds in the area we saw seagulls pelicans and other Montana based birds. I highly recommend for anyone no matter if you're in good health or not so good health this is an easy place to come for a gentle walk.

Great experience with Trout Hatchery. Learned that trout survive mostly on cold climate for it gets sunburn above 54 ° C. Saw the tree my son planted at this park. There's a crack in the rock, a brook opening that travels from the mountain. It's a fresh water but not advisable to drink since other animals thrive here. We just saw a beaver. Montana is known for its gusty ruthless wind for its proximity to Canada. Cold but worth the experience with nature. Next year we will visit during summer.

Moved here to Montana August 2021. Since living here I've been to Great Falls area twice to go to Walmart for my shopping and automotive service. This was my third time going to Great Falls so thought I'd check out all the cool things to do out in nature in the area for a full day. This place was absolutely gorgeous. Loved it. Took close to 100 combination of photos/videos while I was there. Then followed up by going to Rainbow Falls 1.1 miles from here and then in the opposite direction 4.5 miles to Black Eagle Falls. They were ok, nothing compared to this spring Park. Definitely will visit again now that I live in this beautiful state.

A beautiful spring, certainly unique, with an interesting historical reference through the explorers Lewis and Clark that provides a context we otherwise would completely lack!
The attached fish hatchery is fun to check out, there are more things to learn about fish than probably most of us attempt to!
I enjoyed what they had to share, feel like it motivated me to learn more!
Wish I could swim in that spring! 🙂
54F is pretty cold, but when it's 100F out it sure looks inviting! Not to be however. The river works!

I didn't know there was a quiet peaceful place in great falls till my family and I went here. My son tried to get a blue crawdad but couldn't because the spring water was so cold lol. Great place to sit and have lunch and unwind. We got wonderful pictures and learned about the fish. Got to see Juniper, the rangers bull snake. We had a great time rolling down the grassy hills and watching people fish by the river. The restrooms were very clean, it was animal friendly and lots of picnic area.
The Malmstrom Museum is on an active base, so you will need to check in at the visitor station first to gain access to the museum. It also advised to call ahead to make sure Rob the curator is there as he is a one man show.
The museum is small but provides a great deal of information about the bases mission on operating the minute man 3 strategic defense missile system. Rob shared a lot of history of the base and was patient with kids and their questions as we toured the inner displays.
The air park has a few static aircraft to check out in of the different aircraft that once used the base. An interesting fact on the base is in WWII the Soviets came to get aircraft as part of the lend lease act.

Fantastic military museum. Wouldn’t have guessed, all things considered, but this is a lovely display of military power that has been part of the landscape in northern Montana for decades. Definitely worth a visit if you’re interested in military history.
One thing to note, however, is that this is behind the gates of a military installation, so you will need to contact the museum director for access if you don’t already have a CAC or other means of entry.
The only reason that I gave it four stars is because the facility isn’t always open when the sign says it’s supposed to be. Went by twice before closing time and the curator had already left.
Glenn Robertson — Google review
Wonderful museum! I really enjoyed exploring both inside and out.

If you're not military, you need to go to the visitors center near the entrance to need a pass, but it's free and a cool museum about what they do on Malmstrom. The models are especially cool and the history was interesting. Definitely a stop for an air and space nerd!

Very disappointed - we were denied entry (Canadians residents)
We showed up on visitor center 30 min before they open, because we saw on website it takes time to process the entrance.
As a Canadian resident we brought our valid drivers license (as it says on the website) and our valid passports.
So, just a big NO, because we are not Americans and they need day or two to process our entry. No more details. Just no entry allowed.
We drove 6hrs, booked a hotel in Great Falls just to visit the museum, very frustrating :(

I have interest in aviation and military, so this museum was intriguing. My co-worker and I were given a guided tour, with a well informed guide, elaborating on every exhibit. The displays and information on the missile defense system was better than I have seen anywhere else. The planes on exhibit are well maintained and presented. Highlight recommend taking an hour or two to see this place.

Gibson Park in Great Falls is a lush and vibrant retreat with colorful gardens, pathways, and a duck pond. The park also features a playground suitable for both bigger and smaller children, as well as two large sets of fun equipment. Swing sets and various other playthings are scattered throughout the park which provides ample space for running.
Beautiful day, clean except for some garbage in the pond which they can't control. The park's trail was nice and the flowers were beautiful. It is apparent someone is keeping this nice for everyone. Just not for sure which org. Today a church group was there doing some work. Thank you for your service.

Only went to half of park with the duck pond.
The park is very lovely with tons of shade and soft maintained grass. Decent playground for kids. Little stage area.
The best part of the half we saw was the duck pond. Tons of ducks, gulls, and very easy going geese. There is a snack shack type place that also sells healthy duck food.
If back in town will come back to the park.

There is also the ability for children disabled to swing with there family. We have the duck pond where you can watch the ducks, geese, and swans. Able to feed them as well.
At the end of the park is a work out area where people can work out free.
There is a snack shack that is on the other side of the bathrooms; facing the pond. They have sweet treats that a amazing and good for the birds as well.

This is such an amazing park, the best in Great Falls, I'd bet. There are two playgrounds, one suited for younger kids and one suited for slightly older kids. There's a pond full of ducks, geese, and seagulls to feed (please make sure you're using bird-safe food! I'd suggest quick oats!). There is also a little concessions stand that sells snacks and even sells duck food, but I'm not entirely sure of their hours. There's walking trails, historical landmarks, a giant stage, and if you go through the tunnel, you'll find a skate park and another playground. There are plenty of restrooms in the area. This park also hosts a lot of events, so check them out!

I think this is the best park in Great Falls. There are play areas suitable for bigger and smaller kids. You can also follow the walking trail around the ponds where you can see ducks, geese, swans, and sometimes pelicans. Or go through a small tunnel to the skate park.

This is the park to go to in Great Falls. Tons of walking trails, parks for kids and ducks to feed. I appreciate at the duck pond you get proper duck feed to feed the ducks. It’s also super affordable ($1)! The park is the park in great falls and the people I’ve talked to have so many good memories here. Families come here and then as they age their families come too. Multigenerational memories are built here and the park evolves with it.

Electric City Water Park is a family-friendly destination that offers an array of aquatic activities such as waterslides, a lazy river, and a body-board pool. Additionally, kids can enjoy themselves in the designated play area. For anyone feeling peckish, there is the option to grab snacks at the snack shack; however, it should be noted that during peak season wait times may occur due to training of new staff members. Overall, visitors can expect an enjoyable experience at Electric City Water Park.
Great open grassy areas. Lazy river is fast and furious. Fun water park, bummer the kids area was down. The city is doing good. Good concession to.

This place is fun. The pool is usually a nice place to be in. There’s a place for kids to be in for just younger kids. I love the wave pool. I love the surfboarding. I love the slides, and there’s food there and the prices for the tickets might be a little high, but they’re short of average. The only thing that I didn’t like at this place was the slide stairs when you’re going up there barefoot it hurts your feet really bad.

Super disappointed. I took 10 people to enjoy a day at the water park, upon arrival I was told I couldn't purchase a 10 pass card as a manager had to do it, and the manager was too busy to come assist the front desk. We also called to ask about bringing a cooler, we were told no. While there people were bringing coolers, pizza, and outside food. The life guards were all on different sets of rules. Definitely won't be going back. I spent over $100 on entry and food for our group, and was absolutely disgusted with the lack of communication between employees, and no consistency between rules and regulations.

Great place to cool off. Lifeguards are on top of it!! The kiddy pool was closed which was an inconvenience as I had a 5 year old with me. So, because it was closed, the only way my 5 year old could have fun is if someone held her the whole time in the water in either the pool with slides, or the Lazy River part. Since I was not swimming and just watching them, I got in free which is great, (and fair). $5 per person, (no matter the agw), if you just want to swim. $10 per person if you want to swim AND have access to the slides. Over all, not a bad place to go. Kids had fun. They also have a concession stand. No outside food or drink allowed. But they don't check your bags, (if you know what I mean?)

Amazing water park within Montana. The staff were very friendly and professional. The water and facility was clean.
The "lazy" river is anything but lazy. We spent the majority of our time playing in it as it is like a real river and has a strong current. It was a great time and provided hours of fun for the family.
The lifeguards were very attentive and provided a safe environment for all.
There is a climbing wall beside the pool which was fun to climb and fall into the water.
The watersides were fun and closed off at the bottom to ensure no one is getting hit by accident.
Highly recommend this place!

The History Museum is a small yet well-maintained exhibit located in an old warehouse that showcases local culture and history through artifacts and photographs. The friendly staff and ample space allow visitors to stroll around comfortably while learning about the fascinating past of Great Falls. Additionally, the gift shop offers some noteworthy souvenirs. The building itself has a rich history as it used to be a nightclub in its earlier days, making it worth visiting for anyone interested in a slice of Great Fall's heritage.
The historical society moved out of the Great Falls Public Library into the old Northern School Supply building. The exhibits are changed so it's always a good idea to check in to see what's new and find that toy for sale you remember.

My kiddo loves going to the summer camps here. They are affordable and I feel as if she is learned quality information at the same time.
I almost gave them 4 stars after I volunteered to make them a dinosaur and they picked a pink Trex. But, I won't. ;)

This museum is an amazing place for kids to explore and play. Google said admission was free and it is not.....but well worth the price.

Fun for little kids, my 10yo wasn't a huge fan. Lots of fun different areas to explore, and the price of admission very reasonable. Lost a star for the funky smell throughout.
Linden Wallace — Google review
You guys raised your price and it's way too much. I'm not gonna pay $10 a person! I can understand paying that per child but the adults too? That is ridiculous. You used to be a good place to take our family but not anymore. I can go to McDonald's, let the kids play, and buy everyone food and still pay less than what you are charging.
Nice place! Standard Scheels store with the typical selection; however, I did think the firearm selection was a bit anemic compared to other stores in the area (and other Scheels for that matter). The staff was very nice and I was asked multiple times if I needed assistance!
Hayden Sofie — Google review
This place has so much potential it's just a shame that it's half empty. You guys actually need to do something in order to entice more business to come here. Sometimes you need to spend money to make money. I know covid-19 was hard on you guys, but the outside of the building is dull and outdated. Probably the cheapest thing you could do to entice new businesses is to clean the outside of the building up and repaint it. Too many empty stores here. I wish y'all guys well and hope you all do better in the future

Found 2 other Sheels stores had powder,
On line search, thought there inventory may be off. Stopped in and have checked 2 more times. The other stores have those powders but Great Falls store doesn't. Makes me wonder why the others have some and Great Falls has none.

There’s next to no stores left except the best which is scheels. Not to be rude but my wife was approached and told unless children are adult which 18 they can’t be roaming around the mall without a parent. Which is weird for 20 years we’ve gone in there and never had an issue our kiddos are older like 14. Mind you the kids were only about 100 ft from me I could see them. So I think the mall cop was wrong. We also saw tons of teens wondering around by themselves and he didn’t t say nothing so we feel targeted. Come on you want people to shop there find other reasons like theft to scold someone for petty stuff. I dropped a hefty amount on shopping but I think besides scheels your loosing our business due to your rent a cop !

Very disappointed in our mall. The owners charge way too much to rent spaces from what I have been told by multiple managers at this mall. They also don't take pride in maintaining and updating the mall. The bathrooms are usually pretty nasty and stink. And the elevators on the inside look like they haven't been wiped down since 2009. Even has the old mall flooring in one of the elevators. There is no more food court. It's completely empty. There is just the Little Athens Greek restaurant down the hall where the main food court used to be. I miss Twisted Pretzel and Orange Julius soooo bad. Especially twisted pretzel. The dang pandemic ruined a lot for this mall, but so do the owners.

I really wish Great Falls Chamber of Commerce would get it together and bring businesses to the area, no we don't need another coffee or vape shop, nor another car wash or Town Pump. Given this is a military heavy town, there is very little to offer at this location. There are only a couple of shops left standing in the mall but other than that it's not worth the visit.
Jillian Mccambridge — Google review
It used to be way better before things started closing! Wish they'd bring something back in the food court and a few more stores. Like Victoria's secret and maybe some little kid clothing stores. But still a fun environment to take the Littles to run around!
hannah chapel — Google review
It appears that half the stores are closed including Victoria's Secret and Champs, just to name a few. The mall gets 3 stars, but the masseuse there received 5 stars, so I split the difference.
Oriental Health Spa is the place to go for a deep tissue massage. If you've never had a deep tissue massage before, I recommend starting off with a thirty minute session. They are located on the first floor between Hallmark and Bath and Bodyworks.
Jaime Walker — Google review
This place has gone downhill and has very few decent stores that make you itching to go back. There is no food court anymore and I would say half if not more than half is empty on the inside when you walk it. There used to be so many options to choose from, and as a supposed "Canadian Shopping Destination" in Great Falls, MT, this is a major disappointment to our neighbors to the North. I've lived here nearly all my life and the mall just continues to go down hill. You can find much better shopping anywhere else in the city... Holiday Village Mall owners, if you read this, which it shows you don't care for other people's opinions if you just simply go into the mall, LOWER YOUR RENT and bring life back to this once HUGELY thriving and exciting mall!!! Look around the state and you can easily find better options for a shipping mall in Bozeman, Missoula, Billings, and even Kalispell!!! Mostly just a major disappointment overall...
Tyler Whitaker — Google review
The mall is mostly a ghost town. There a a few good stores here, but most are dark lights. There is no food court and the whole thing feels dingy and dirty.
Scheels, Hobby Lobby, Harbor Frieght and Game Stop are the stores I would recommend.

Many closed shops Sheels was good and that is all.
JC Penneys was the worst department I have ever seen from the Western states.
They had the worst attitude for my American wife till I showed up.

I used to like coming to Great Falls and visiting the Holiday Village Mall, but with the current economy, the place is a skeleton. Although my favourite stores, Scheels and JC Penny, are still here, it would be nice to have more in here.
Don't be discouraged to still visit there. There are some good stores on the lower level and good deals to still find around the mall.
Pop into Little Athens for a coffee or lunch; good group working there.

SHOPPERS BE WARNED
I believe that all patrons should be informed that Holiday Village Mall has personnel on-site who are now enforcing what can only be described as a subjective and ambiguous dress code.
Excerpt from Code of Conduct
9. "Visiting the center without shirts or shoes, or failing to be fully clothed. Wearing clothing that is, or in a manner that is, obscene, offensive to others, that may provoke a disturbance, or is otherwise inconsistent with a first-class, family-oriented shopping center".
Now, at first glance the rules seem pretty simple until it comes to something that an enforcement individual deems is not consistent with a first-class, family oriented shopping center. Regardless of whether you procured the items within the mall and are wearing them on the way out or bought them elsewhere, you are subject to the morals/views/beliefs of the individual assessing your appearance on behalf of management. Whether it be a skirt/shorts "too short", "seen areas of a bra", too tight of clothing, too much skin present, or inappropriate wording be warned. You may be approached by an individual who takes issue with your outfit and can "expel or ban" you from their facility without discussion.
Today, my wife was issued a warning because part of her bra could be seen from a side profile of her shirt (outfit bought from the mall) and told that if she returned to the mall in the outfit she would be asked to leave the premises. There are stores within the "first-class, family oriented shopping center" whose advertisements appear to be in conflict with said code of conduct. However, patrons are the only ones held accountable. Take this information as you please, but I thought/hoped to spare anyone else the embarrassment of being told by a complete stranger that the way you dressed yourself is inappropriate and deemed not first-class or family oriented.

The only place I have ever been harassed by security/meter maid for parking in a handicap spot with a handicap ♿️ placard. I would also like to point out the moron approached me and asked," what's going on Boss, this is a handicap spot." Now let's keep in mind my placard is hanging on my mirror, and my Granddaughter sleeping. Well thanks to the overachiever I won't be going back to Holiday Village Mall, they probably would have towed it.

Nice place to spend time shopping through a variety of stores: Victoria Secrets, zumiez, Hobby Lobby, Ross dress for less, Big Lots and others. Wished they have more options for food shops. You can stay and rest on a bench or you can allow kids to play in a section.

Saddest excuse for a "mall" I have ever seen. I've been to convince store that have more to offer. Probably 80% empty, dirty, no upkeep, but fits perfectly with great falls as a whole lol

Alot of good things in stock, from winter jackets, summer wear, sweaters, team wear.also, the mall cops need to chill out!!!, they're chasing customers away.i mean, c'mon nobody wants to be followed around while they are trying to shop.go work at the local detention facility, you'll earn your money there!!, alright, just went to look at jewelry, stopped looked around it was kinda sad, nobody,I mean nobody was around shopping.
New building with gorgeous architecture and stained glass. Excellent location with beautiful landscape and plenty of parking. There are several masses every day to accommodate any schedule. A large base of parishioners volunteer and offer a plethora of religious services and ministry. This parish donates a massive amount of food and time to the community. The congregation welcomes visitors and new members with warm arms and open hearts. Come worship with us!

A beautiful park with something for everyone:
The park features stroller-friendly walking trails along the bank of the rive that extend to Gibson Park on the opposite shore. It's teeming with wildlife, freckled with gopher holes below and gulls above. There are pavilions for family gatherings and scenic benches for quiet contemplation.

One of the beat kept grounds we have in town. The flowers and fountain are gorgeous, and the building itself is well maintained and picturesque.
This is also a hot-spot for Pokemon go, which as to a large influx of people showing up here. The owners were incredibly accepting of this, and basically let's people hang out, so long as they keep off the grass and clean up

My wife and I made it to the Margarita Meltdown this evening. The arena was decorated in a tropical theme. The event was for charity which made it that much more fun. The band was amazing and the people of Great Falls are a wonderful bunch to party with. There was lots of dancing and great food. There was non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks available. There was a service to provide free rides home if you had too much to drink. We had a spectacular time! Thanks to Great Falls, Eagle Mount and the band!

Here for the BMW national Rally with about 5000 of my closest friends. The infrastructure here is a little dated, buildings could use a little care, but I get that everything costs money. Local staff (not rally specific) were friendly, easy access to facilities and being right in town was a plus. Camped on the grounds and the road right next to the place was busy and trains blowing thier horn long and loud several times during the night were a distraction, but it's a decent venue for something of this sort.

This state fair is getting worse every year. You really need a better planner. The counties, 4H and crafts aren’t represented at all. Barns and exhibits are empty. Seems they only care about the food sales.
NO STARS! Would better represent your fair

Over priced food and $8 admission to see really nothing... vendors pushing products. Horse races were very entertaining, but not nearly enough wagering windows, every race people never got bets down, basically had to be in line as soon as the last race finished to bet the next race.

Went today to see Fluffy with the family. It was an amazing experience and loved the performance except the part when one of the security ladies was threatening to kick us out 20 minutes before the show because my aunt wanted to take a selfie with me and my mother. I know there is a rule with no photography and video recordings when the show ACTUALLY starts.. which this lady failed to understand. First she accused us for video taping, which again... that's not what we were doing at all. When we tried to explain what we were doing she rudely interrupted us and said we will be kicked out the next time she sees our phones. But right after she got up in our business, we see other people with their cameras out and sees that she let that slide. Naturally my family and I would be upset that she was clearly picking and choosing who to attack. So my aunt and my mom starts talking to one of the event staff that happened to be standing next to where we sat. It was just a question because we were confused why we couldn't take pictures before the show when several other people where doing so. Same lady sees that we were talking to someone from the staff and quickly runs over to get in our business once again. When we tried to address the issue she got overly offended and told us if we continue being a problem she will kick us out. 1.) there was nothing wrong asking the event staff questions. 2.) she told us that because they aren't security that we cant talk to them about the cameras. The ironic thing was that after this whole incident that could have been avoided, two people went up on stage to talk about how we all could take pictures before the show. Again, how ironic that happened after this lady threatened us for no reason. I believe her name was Barbara, but I wish I knew for sure what her name was because she was extremely unprofessional. This type of job also requires patience and understanding, which she clearly lacks. If management sees this, she needs to be retrained because she was on a serious power-trip which ruined part of our experience.
The Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art is housed in a historic building from 1896 and showcases the art of both contemporary and past artists from the Northwest region. This attraction offers a unique experience for those interested in art and history, making it an ideal destination for individuals, friends, or families. Admission to this museum is free to the general public which adds to its appeal.
Me and my sister did a pottery class there. The instructor was so kind. They have all the supplies you need for taking pottery classes. It is definitely worth it I checked out the exhibits upstairs once there wasn't much because they were changing them out, but it was a very nice place. I wouldn't recommend taking little kids just because it's a museum and it's very quiet and there's stuff you could break but a very nice place. Definitely going to be going again

Was visiting Great Falls, had just left the C.M. Russell Museum, & decided to stop here too. The art gallery is situated in a classical early 20th century school building. The art featured at Paris Gibson Square is more avante-garde (or "outsider art", as one didactic described it) than what we saw at the Russell Museum. It was enjoyable in its own way. Modern art has its detractors (a group which up until perhaps a few months ago I could have been considered as belonging to), but for those who enjoy something different & stimulating, this is the place to visit.
At the end of my visit I got to talking with the executive director in the giftshop. In our chat she related to me her love of pottery, & I recommended to her to maybe come up across the border sometime to see Medicine Hat's historic pottery district. Lovely lady.
