Bookworm Gardens is a botanical garden that offers community events and features sections inspired by popular children's books. Despite the parking lot being full, it doesn't feel crowded during the day on Saturdays. Although there isn't a large selection of blooming flowers, the ones available are set up beautifully. Every area of the garden has a theme based on children's books, providing an enjoyable and unique way to experience classics like "The Three Little Pigs.
Such an amazing place! My son had been here for field trips and loved it, but we went for the first time as a family for their special Halloween event. Clean and family friendly, with tons of interactive elements to keep kids busy. Can't wait to go back again.

Book worm gardens is a near magical place, where books come to life. There are plenty of things to touch and explore, from houses and forts to musical instruments and nature!
We've been here many times, with children ranging from 1 to 14, and they always enjoy each moment. I would say that, in general, children 2-7 will get the most fun out of this experience, but other ages are sure to enjoy it too.

This place is AWESOME. There are so many areas for kids to enjoy and explore. Every book they have ever loved and new ones to find are here. Admission online is approximately $8 but worth it. My kids kept saying "this is magical" and they're almost 9
And 7.5.
Definitely worth the cost and visit.

A visual treat for young and old alike! The stories represented through the park's exhibits range across tales familiar to all ages, and both the hard and softscaping are breath taking. Just be sure to make an appointment before you go!

This place looked really cool and I wanted to see it. Didn't realize they charged to go through it, thought it was more of a botanical garden. Parking is kinda limited for as busy as they get. Didn't realize it was also geared more for kids. When I seen all the curtain crawlers running around, I had to pass.

Seriously the cutest. Our girls are older teens and still loved it - we had a blast trying to figure out which story went with each garden, and sometimes were introduced to new stories we hadn't read yet. Definitely worth a trip (or more!) to this magical place!

Such a cute place! Thouroughly enjoyed by my nieces aged 4-9. Easy parking & entry. First time visiting. Worth the Easy 2 hour drive from Madison.

We came during the day on a Saturday, even though parking lot was full, it didn't feel crowed on our walk. Not a large selection of flowers blooming, but was is there is set up beautifully. All the areas of the garden are themed to children's books. It was a fun, unique way experience some of the classics like 3 little pigs. With a general addition, you can go around as many times as you. My 5 year has a blast.

Been meaning to go for some time but didn't with COVID. Kids are 6, 8, and 10 and were less than impressed than a toddler/preschooler would have been, but still had a good time. They really liked the Laura Ingalls Wilder area and the music/art area and were entertained for about 2.5 hours. I think it would be nicer for local families who could drop in, read the laminated book they provide and view the accompanying display casually. Honestly, most of the books in the displays I had never heard of and we're fairly well read; many are short children's books, so it would have been better to have gotten a bunch from the library and read them before the visit. Also, for adults, the garden itself doesn't feature many unique plants as a standard botanical garden and there's few labels, although it's well maintained and you can tell they are trying to expand the variety.

I had no idea this place was a botanical garden, too! The flowers were GORGEOUS, the storybook spots were so cute, and the park was clearly designed with kids and interaction in mind. I didn't know most of the references, but was delighted to discover that I knew a few! It was fun to explore and to find so many little easter eggs, if you will.

This place was amazing! Even my stubborn 12 year old had a good time exploring. Tickets are $2 cheaper if you buy from their website, and they even recommend that as you are walking to the gate. I could spend a few hours here wandering and maybe actually reading a few of the books they have around.

We came here on a whim as a little family getaway and fell in love. I loved how there were stories to read around every corner. We will definitely be back when the weather is warmer. If you buy your tickets in advance you save $2 a person

This garden is super cute and homeschooler moms dream! There are a lot of interactive play areas and cute little activities to do. Each section of the garden represented a children's book. They had lots of little libraries to choose books to read to your children while you were browsing through the gardens. The plants were beautiful, the gardens were clean, and the new bridge is fantastic! I would highly recommend bringing your kids here no matter what age.

What a lovely place that brings to life children books! To learn that over 1,000 volunteers helped bring the vision to life was jaw-dropping. Wow! Talk about a community project.
Walking towards the entrance you see the Magic School Bus Garden and Picnic area. The archway welcomes guests into a space with picnic tables and of course The Magic School Bus. Please remember to take your trash with you if you eat here during your visit.
And what’s a place based off literature without a Little Free Library. It’s located right across from the picnic grove.
Small signs throughout the gardens inform visitors of the book which inspired the respective space. Stone towers hold books for families to sit and read.
There were a number of groups visiting on the day we went, but we made the most of our trip.
My baby shower theme was based on children’s books because of my love for reading so bring my twins here made it a full-circle moment.

This place is so fun. It really brings certain aspects of popular books to life. My son loved it so much he wouldn't leave. Words can't really describe it.
It's perfect for kids, but it's also adult friendly. The walkway is a soft texture with mulch on top. No hard pressure on your knees from standing or walking. There are also lots of benches and chairs to sit and read and enjoy nature.
The price is also friendly and supports the park. For being in its 13th season, it's in great condition. You can tell people really love this garden. The landscape is also very appealing and well-kept. Very scenic.

An absolutely magical garden with lots of care and design put in. Fun for kids and adults, lots to do for little people (and grown-ups). The books available around every corner to read will bring you right back to childhood. Mostly shaded and easily accessible for all levels. Seriously, the best garden we've been to in a long time. Worth the stop! Buy your tickets online in advance for a discount, easy entry when you arrive.
Kohler-Andrae State Park is a stunning park in Wisconsin that boasts beaches, sand dunes, and hiking trails. It also offers campsites and a nature center for visitors to enjoy. Located conveniently off freeway 43 and not too far from Milwaukee metro area, it is an ideal destination for nature lovers seeking some peace and tranquility away from the city hubbub.
This is an absolutely gorgeous State Park. It is very conveniently located right off the freeway 43. It is also not too far from Milwaukee metro area. It is by far one of my most favorite parks in Wisconsin! I wish it was larger, so I could spend even more time there! It is quite busy in the summertime, but is more peaceful and tranquil in the winter.

Beautiful state park. Lots of trails and the views are beautiful. Very nice beach all along. The cordwalk is so cool. Definitely a little cooler by the lake so I'm glad I grabbed a sweatshirt with the breeze. Kids had a great time even and with teens that is not always easy

This was a beautiful state park. Well-maintained trails, and lots of sandy beaches.
While we didn't use them, it also looked like a lot of camp sites on the south side of th park as well.

This was a beautiful state park to visit. When I arrived, there was a long line of people waiting to purchase day passes/year passes to get into the park. I had my sticker, so I could go past the traffic. One woman stopped me to let me know there were some parking spots in lots 2-7. I found a parking spot, right away. There were bathrooms and even an outdoor rinse-off station. The beach was packed on a Sunday afternoon. The further along I walked, the less busy the beach became. There were paths to walk through and many entrances to the sandy beach. There were hardly any rocks in the water. I saw so many trees, especially pine trees. It was a lovely place to see. So relaxing to rest on the beach and put my feet in the water. I suggest driving further down to lot 5-7 and entering the beach from there. You'll have access to a less crowded part of the beach. The further I walked away from the first beach entrance, the closer I approached homes on the beach. I was surprised to see that people lived inside the park. It was unexpected. I had parked by the Amphitheater and walked all the way to the beach. There was a path that led me to bathrooms. Then I crossed the street and made it to the beach. It was a less traffic-jammed way to attempt visiting the beach. The pine trees were everywhere. Talk about a pine haven! I even saw a 4 trunk pine! That was neat. 😄 What was most interesting was seeing the lengthy driftwood tree trunk sticking straight up out of the sand with a Seagull perched on the top.

What a nice walk by the beach. Still a bit of snow in the sand and it's almost April. But I am jealous of my Sheboygan friends to be able to come here and walk even at the end of a Wisconsin winter. The gulls, the lapping of little boats along piers. The lighthouse. The shells and polished glass, and driftwood. Summers must be great to swim here. The kite surfers. I could just spend a day sitting by Lake Michigan doing nothing. Beautiful waters up here.

A must go to park when in Wisconsin. Visit the Natural Center to learn interesting facts about a second floor view of the long beach. We were lucky enough to find out the were having a lantern walk at night event and this was amazing as my husband and I are celebrating out anniversary, this just made it extra special. There is camping available as well. The park closes at 11PM and no lifeguards.

This was a regular picnic park as I was growing up. Haven't been there in years. Never went in November. The winds off the lake were brisk and chilly. The dunes and grasses along the beach are unique. Much of the lake view path is on corded planks for easier walking than loose sand. The information facilities were closed for the season. We also checked out the campgrounds, which looked well spaced, level and, of course, leaf covered.
Finally, we drove up to the forest trails. A wide mowed path through woods and Prarie grasses. Even with a map, the intersections were a bit confusing. Trail could have been marked better.

Great hikes, views and access to the lake. We didn't get to the beach due to choppy water but so plan on returning. If you plan to hike the dunes, be sure to bring bug repellent as we did see ticks.

What a great park! Tons of trails for all fitness levels. Nice playground for kids. The beaches were very nice, too! We spent most of our time at South Beach, but North was just as great! North was a little slower than South. Dogs are allowed on North Beach. I did wish there were some garbage cans closer to beach entrances as we saw garbage etc.

Beautiful park. Boardwalk has some uneven /broken boards making it slightly difficult to navigate. Beach had a deceased Seagull and a lot of feathers while walking the beach. Soft sandy beach. Not much shade so make sure you bring sunscreen.

Sheer beauty of Lake Michigan, with sand dunes, beautiful wooden walking paths, and we even saw a white tail deer about 20 yards away! Wisconsin is a blessed state to have this lake that is really like being at the ocean!

This is a beautiful state park ~ need state sticker to get in. There is camping and a north and south beach area. Beach is nice in both areas but not much shade so I recommend a shade tent or beach umbrella. Finding a parking spot in the north beach area was quite the challenge ~ spots are limited. South beach had plenty of parking. Doesn't seem too handicap friendly in some areas. Had running water bathroom in both areas. Picnic tables. North Beach is dog friendly whereas South Beach is not. Would recommend going earlier in the day on a weekend. Also has hiking trails ~ which look beautiful. Family friendly. I highly recommend going here. We had a blast at both beaches.

I had a great experience tent camping. I walked some trails and checked out my fellow campers--see their setups. The restrooms are clean, some have flush toilets and showers. I noticed a laundry room and that the park sells ice and other items. It is a lovely and varied park with much to offer both families and single persons.

What a beautiful park! I have limited mobility and use a wheelchair. I really appreciated the wheelchair accessible trails at this park. And the wheelchair accessible cabin is amazing! They thought of everything! The bathroom has a roll in shower with a bath bench. There is also a shower wheelchair available if needed. The bathroom sink is a good height and there is room underneath. Bonus points for the handle to turn the water on being placed at the front of the counter so it is easy to reach. Also, the soap dispenser is at the front of the counter.
The kitchen has a section of counter that is lowered for ease of use from the chair. There is a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, and coffee maker.
The living space has a lift chair, a couch with pullout bed and a wide chair with pull out bed. The bedroom has two power hospital beds. A lift is available if needed. There is also a cot available if needed and a commode chair. There is a nice "porch" room with lots of windows and a bird feeder right outside. There is electricity with plenty of outlets, air conditioning and heat. Outside there is a nice patio with benches. There is also a grill, campfire ring and picnic table. One of the wheelchair accessible trails is right next to the cabin. And, there is a beach wheelchair as well.

Beautiful park and lovely campground! There is so much nature and wildlife to see here. The beach is gorgeous, as are the hiking trails and cordwalks. Staff are very helpful, as are the the people in the nature center. Bathrooms and sites were very clean. Highly recommend!

As you already know the park is beautiful. Can't go wrong with a nice relaxing boardwalk trail through the sand dunes while listening to the waves of lake Michigan.
As far as why three stars. The reality is the campground is designed very poorly. Specifically electric sites. A large majority of the sites when you back in your camper door is against woods or opens to road with picnic table/fire pit on other side of camper. The sites seem to be designed backwards are are made for pull in but they are back in. Lots of wasted space in the campground due to poor site design. Short site driveway spaces for no reason. The new paved site pads aren't level which is strange because they seem new. Every time I've stayed there are people with multiple tents and a camper on one site with too many people- which I've never seen enforced. I'll also add restrooms closed early this season with no notice on booking.
Beautiful to visit. The campground is disappointing.
The John Michael Kohler Arts Center in Sheboygan, Wisconsin offers a variety of multimedia visual art exhibits as well as performances and educational opportunities. The museum showcases four different main exhibits created by various artists. One of the highlights of the center are the creatively designed bathrooms covered in art. This kid-friendly facility is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience something unique and different within the art world. Additionally, admission is free making it an affordable option for all visitors.
Excellent small museum of contemporary art. Has strong program of community engagement. Admission is free, but the experience is worth a contribution. As an eccentric plus, the washrooms are decorated with whimsical and colorful tiles. Also, the Cafe has very good food: the chicken bulgogi bowl is nicely spicy. Well worth a trip.

Above & Beyond Children's Museum offers interactive exhibits and programs designed to engage children in activities that involve play, education, and exploration. The museum features a variety of activities suitable for all age groups, ensuring that everyone will have a great time. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making the experience even better. Visitors can enjoy the museum without worrying about crowds or waiting times. It is definitely worth visiting, whether you're coming from Oshkosh or just spending the day exploring the town.
Such a wonderful and accommodating space to take my toddler! They have multiple floors with different play/explore options. My son loves the top floor with the fire truck, fishing ship, and farmers market. They also have a calming corner upstairs with sensory items where overstimulated children may go and wind down (it has a door for privacy when in use 😊). If it is too busy for your younger toddlers they also have a farm area that is gated off from the older children. It has a family bathroom and a private nursing/changing room with a glider.

I'm sure when this place first opended, it was great. There are some really good intentions but many of the activities are broken or missing pieces. Being catered toward children, there are many areas that need a thorough dusting (littles might not look up, but bigs do) - the bees area with the items hanging from the ceiling is disgusting. Three staff working and they all sat at the desk looking down. Not once did I see any of them walking the floors for safety. Regret the $32 spent. Keep your money and go to a park.

Brought my 3-year-old and my 5-year-old who is autistic and they had plenty of things they could do, including a bag of sensory items to help my son if he got overwhelmed. They also have a quiet room that helps him calm down and multiple floors. We have the membership so it was free for all of us to come in but from what I understand their daily costs are very cheap as well. 10 out of 10 would come again

The place is hands down awesome, my favorite children's museum in Wisconsin! For me personally, it's more fun than the one in Baraboo, Sun Prairie or even Madison. Wow, I was impressed with the opportunity to climb 3 flights of stairs, watch the puppet show, "fish" right off the deck, and there's so much natural light on the 3rd floor!

Concerning the museum:
There had been a recent pipe burst and flood here so it had been closed for some time for repairs. Had an expectation to see something new when they reopened and it was exactly the same with some updates on paint and bathroom fixtures. Pretty disappointing since the place feels like it is slowly getting gutted.
Concerning the park that opened up next door:
This expensive eyesore replaced a nice public garden with something that attempts to be a children's park but feels more like an art installation. Everything is made of wood which is already deteriorating after less than a year. There really isn't anything to do at this park. There's a slide and a strange rope swing. There's a few things to climb on but those objects were built more to look nice than be played on and are dangerous. There is potential for splinters on everything. There's a tiny 'rope play' area that can potentially dump you into a wooden balancing beam. The entire surface of the park is purposely built with bulges that create trip hazards. Not sure how this park is considered accessible.

The website sells this place a lot better than it really is. Your kid will go through the entire place in 20mins. Charging for adults wasn't cool. Speaking of, it's no less than 85 degrees in here. Front desk lady was very nice but hard to justify the cost, charging adults for what it is.

It was my first time ever taking my kids here. It was cool. But was a little disappointed as well. There’s a sensory room, I have a son on spectrum who would have benefited using it. But the same person was in it for literally the whole 2 hours we were here. So it kinda sucked that others couldn’t utilize it at all. Our experience also kinda got ruined because parents don’t parent their kids.. older kids were constantly running and chucking things on the third floor in the school room and fishing/food area. And instead of parents intervening they would laugh.
My kids really only enjoyed the fire truck and the climbing structure.

A fun and interactive museum for kids 6 and below. I feel like any older, they'll be bored. Our 4-year-old could have spent the whole day there!! She loved all the different activity areas from the dark room to the kitchen to the farm house.
There were at least 3 floors of different activities. I appreciate how every inch of the walls and ceiling were covered with something-- animals to outer space.
Everything was clean and well-maintained. I would station a staff or 2 at some "high risk" areas. Some children were climbing on things that could result in falls, and no one was around to monitor them.
I think parents should be free or half price or something. There's nothing for us parents to do🙂
The playground outside was awesome!!
😔 They ran out of coffee. Would have loved some.

The Above & Beyond Children's Museum is one of the best in the state. Not only is the facility immaculately clean, but they have such a variety of activities for children of all ages. My daughter especially enjoys the first floor/mezzanine sky crawl and my son likes climbing on the foam barnyard animals. Everything is well thought out and designed with imagination and little hands in mind. The top floor is my absolute favorite - it's bright, vibrant and so unique. The little market is adorable and the play food/groceries are super high quality. Fishing from the boat is adorable. My family gladly made the drive from Appleton and will do it again soon! We also loved the reading program - bedtime books for $5. How fun. Also, didn't know this until my second time there (while leaving) but they offer free coffee for parents in the lobby. Bonus!

Came on a Sunday. 2 kind people were working the front desk, the only staff seen. This was more of a play place, not museum. Kids running everywhere, throwing toys, playing tag, a mess of all activity centers with items just thrown all over the floors, very little parent supervision on their children. My kids were knocked over many times. Kids were playing soccer on the main floor. It would have been nice to have staff presence walking around to enforce behaviors- would have went a long way and could have enjoyed it more.

America's Tallest Flagpole is a rather unique and captivating landmark that left quite an impression on me.
Its grandeur is obviously impressive, but upon visiting, you get to learn about its meticulous design and the hard work it takes to keep it up.
Visiting it was both fun and enriching, and I'm glad I took the time to see it. If you're in Sheboygan, you'll probably see it driving around, but if you have time, it is well worth the visit, as this impressive flag is a beautiful testament to our country.

Love the fact cards available for visitors to take and have information at their fingertips! I grabbed two so that I can share one with a teacher. The grounds surrounding the site were beautiful. There were benches near the water, but we had to walk through so much poo to get to them. Would be nice if there was at least a path to them, an extension of the path around the flag and pole.
After reading the care and maintenance, it’s obvious that it requires the support of several people. T was a noticeable hole in the flag, so I wish there was a place at the site to leave feedback such as a QR code to email someone right away.

The world's largest symbol of freedom (the American Flag), is a fantastic place to visit and reflect upon why it's here. Acuity Insurance provides the public with a nice parking lot and benches to reflect upon the flag.
As an added bonus, there is a nice park area with a pond next to the flag. An information board has some literature you can read near the flag as well.

The flag may be down if the weather is poor or there are strong winds.

This sounds like a silly thing that would be barely a blip. However, there is something amazingly ridiculous about it that needs to be seen to be believed.
You can see it on the drive up. From a distance, it looks like a normal sized pole, but it just keeps getting bigger The closer you get. Being next to it in person is awe inspiring. The scale of it feels unfathomable. It's amazing.
If you're in the area, you have to stop by.

Came up to Wisconsin for the Packers vs. Chiefs game. Decided to do some site seeing. Amazing views, nice beach, plenty of places to walk around and get pics. It was December, so it was cold and did not stay too long. But I would definitely like to come back during the summer months and truly enjoy the area. I was not paying attention when it came to pet friendliness, although I did have my pup with me and she wholesomely enjoyed it. I also seen a couple with their pup. So I'd say yes.

My favorite beach in Wisconsin. I'm from Miami so I know a thing or two about beaches :)
You'll find plenty of free parking, a wide sandy beach and a fun walk out to the lighthouse when weather permits. The water is always going to be cold (it's a glacial lake after all) but people do swim and surf here in Summer. Volleyball seems to be popular and there are often lots of sunbathers who really should use more sunscreen. There are restrooms that are probably perfectly safe now that the serial toilet clogger has been apprehended. Dogs are allowed so if you have a problem with dogs you may want to take that under advisement.

Great space! Our family loves flying kites and usually meet at the Milwaukee lakefront but Saturday we had a picnic and flew kites at Deland. Not only does it have a great open field... it had a great harbor view as well. I'm lobbying to move our annual outing to Deland!

Really amazing. Great for walking on a sunny day. Nice and clean atmosphere. Huge parking space available. And there’s a marina too. Separate parking for marina. People were flyover kites and some were walking with their kids and dogs. Nice for a day out with family and friends. We walked all the way till the lighthouse. It’s a great walk and the pier is well maintained and clean. Really beautiful and relaxing experience and a must visit place when in this area. Thanks. Photos by me.

A beautiful park with a large beach on lake Michigan featuring a children’s playground and volleyball nets. There’s a pavilion with bathrooms near the street side of the beach where you can shower off the sand. A marina is on the South side of the park as well as picnic tables and public barbecue pits. Marina also has bathrooms and there is another bathroom pavilion by the picnic tables.

Nice history, of sinking ships. An even the recovery of those that had sank.
Get your feel of it. Walk into it. Its an awesome experience. Learn about the Schooner. One of many capsized vessels that have sunk into the beautiful lake Michigan, near and in Sheboygan area waters.

Thank you very much for this amazing place!

This place has gone down the gutters. They nickle and dime for everything. They put a wristband on my daughter and it slipped right off so I asked to trade it for a new one. They said and I quote "oh we can't swap it because it'll be effect our profits for the day"
Are you kidding me?! It costed my daughter and myself $95!!! Just to get in for the day. And a 20 cent plastic wristband is going to make them go broke? On top of that the two giant slides aren't operating right now. Yet they still charge full price and make a stink about one wristband. Ya screw this place. Spend your money somewhere a bit more professional, better kept up and kinder.

This is the first indoor water park I've been to where I didn't get sick afterwards. There's a lot of fun things to do, however staying for two days was maybe a bit too long. Next time we'll just stay one. The food isn't healthy but it is yummy. The price of everything is fair, especially adult beverages.

$40 for ONE day pass for locals. Spent $80 just to get in for the day. Plus now, it’s only on Sundays that locals can now go but at $40 a pop. So sad, especially when there is hardly anything for local kids to do.

We absolutely love the water park. It is so much fun. The only problem we had was that nobody was watching the hot tub area. Even though there was a sign that said 16 and over there was kids going in it the whole time we was there. We had to mention it to the lifeguards numerous times. Also they was leaving the gate door open and with little ones running around at any time one could have walked in there and fell in and drowned. The lifeguards need to do regular checks on it before someone severely gets hurt. Another thing is the prices at the food court. We got a large cheese pizza and it was almost 30.00. Also the person behind the counter didn't know how to add the tax so I was at the counter for 15 minutes. It also took about and hour to get our pizza . Other than those two things we will be back. Also I wish they had more open swim days then just Sunday and that we can buy tickets in advanced

We had a great experience at the waterpark as guests of the Blue Harbor Resort. 6 and 8yr old had lots of fun. The wait time on the slides varied but was not bad. The lifeguards were very attentive. Towels were readily available - and can be switched for dry ones at any point. Cafe had a decent selection. Looking forward to returning!

I'm not a beer drinker, but the Three Sheeps tasting room was fun nonetheless. It's spacious, with a casual, industrial vibe, picnic tables, barrel tables, and big garage doors. My companion ordered a flight of Three Sheeps brews, and I was thrilled to find that I could get a soft drink. I believe pretzels were the only food option, but the bartender offered us us several menus from nearby restaurants that deliver. We called Seeboth's Deli, placed an order, and had our lunch a half hour later.
Insider tip: The tasting room can be chilly when the doors are open on a spring day. Toss a blanket in your car just in case. If it's nice, you can find a spot on the patio instead!
Lynnie — Google review
Great beer. It's been pretty busy every time I have stopped so it's not super easy or fast to get a beer or flight. Bartenders don't really have time to talk about the beers as they do at other breweries. Perhaps they need more staff or I just need to stop by at more of an off time. Nice selection of cool merch.

Fun place! This is the second time I've been here. Tonight I brought the family and the dog. Everyone enjoyed the flights that were ordered. Our puppy got a lot of attention from other patrons. This would be a fun place to visit in the summer when the outdoor area is open.

If you are in Sheboygan 3 Sheep's is a must stop. The tap room offers private spaces, a stage, and a large open area. There is plenty of space outside of the weather is nice. The Brewery offers all their standard distribution beers and several you can't find in the stores. On my last stop they had not one, but five bourbon barrel beers. For me, that was awesome and they were all very good and ranged from very boozy to sweet. They also have a wide selection of IPAs, ales, sours, lagers, etc. I am sure I will stop again when I am on town.

One of my favorite breweries and taprooms in the state! If you haven't been, it's a must visit! Their barrel aging program is especially delicious and I've been a member of their Barrel Society for three years.

A great big venue and ample parking for this growing brewery. After finally getting to visit i was excited to see what they have on offer. However, the service was hostile and let a sour taste.
The bar guy took my order, didn't write or remember it so had to say it again. Then there was the question of samples or 3oz pours. He said i can only try 3 even though i was paying for them "due to the environmental impact of plastic cup" well he had no trouble selling me bigger pints so more plastic waste...
The beer was nice and they have regular food trucks but since this experience i will not be making a returning trip.
After travelling for over 2 hours to see this place, i would have even purchased merchandise but when the customers are made to feel belittled, i will go else where.

Cute!! As big craft beer fans we always try to find a small brewery while on vacation. 3 sheep’s was very close to our resort and it was a great stop. The place is large and industrial (which is my favorite) they had a large selection of beers and we ended up getting a flight of 3. The bartender was friendly as let us sample her favorite. We ended up bringing home a Crowlers that we can’t wait to enjoy sometime soon! If you’re in the area I definitely recommended stopping!
The Sheboygan County Historical Museum features a range of exhibits that showcase the cultural history of the region. In addition to its historic displays, visitors may also find unexpected events such as Santa Claus taking pictures with kids and other Christmas-related activities for children. The museum boasts an underground gallery and several well-preserved buildings, providing visitors with an immersive experience of the area's past.
It was a very positive experience! Our 3 year old Grand daughter Loved all the Christmas displays. There were activities for the kids, model Trains running on tracks and little Garten Toy Tractors and bikes to ride. Santa
Claus was also on hand to hear you Christmas wishes. Not to mention Bruce the Spruce talking to you as you entered the building. A bit scary for the little ones, but he made them feel Welcome. Love the Pranges store window displays.

The Lottie Cooper, a schooner that sank near Sheboygan in 1894, is an important historical landmark. This Great Lakes vessel capsized and now lies at the bottom of Lake Michigan. The section of the ship that remains is approximately 89 feet long and serves as a reminder of the dangers faced by sailors on these waters. Despite its tragic end, the Lottie Cooper continues to draw interest from historians and visitors alike as an enduring symbol of Great Lakes maritime history.
Very unique and just a quick walk from the marina after fishing. Some of the plaques were hard to read. A spot that does not takes a lot of time and can walk through very easily. It is also a quick walk to the beach by the marina. Just a fun town to be in and makes it seem like the coast off the ocean and not Wisconsin.

A very interesting piece of history on the lakefront. This is the remains of the wooden ship Lottie Cooper that sank in Lake Michigan. The remains of the wooden ship were recovered and salvaged for display to the public. It gives you a very good feel for the size and scope of the ship. Only bad part about it is the information plaques are damaged and hard to read.

on my hit list for some time and i wished it would have been great - but the park was in much need of maintenance. so many tree falls (on and around) the mounds that we couldn't enjoy, nor go very far. it seems like "the park that sheboygan county parks has forgotten". i would like to return when things are straightened out.

Peaceful little park with lots of informative and respectful signs. Urban location - right in the middle of a quiet neighborhood, there are preserved and protected mounds. Maps were available. There is a nature trail that goes down to a nearby creek. Feels very secluded, but still safe. There's a boardwalk that's older but still usable. Loved it.

Quarry Beach Adventure Park and Water Sports is a forested area with a quarry lake that offers inflatable play equipment for seasonal swimming and sliding. The park is ideal for family outings on hot days, with numerous inflatables on the water to enhance the experience, as well as kayaks and stand-ups available for rental. Additionally, there are giant chess boards to play on. The beach area has chairs available for use, along with the option of renting an umbrella or tent.
Kids had so much fun! The water is a bit warmer than Michigan Lake but very refreshing and clean. The beach area had chairs and you can rent an umbrella or tent. There are life jackets provide for all ages. Bring snacks and lunch to spend the day having fun.

Very cool place. First of all, all the employees we encountered were very nice and helpful. They're only seem to be a few, but they were working hard. I know every place is kind of shorthanded right now, so awesome that they can keep this place open. This park has a large parking lot, and we went early to try to beat the rush. For the first hour and a half or so it was not busy at all. They do require life vests if going on the equipment, which is an awesome extra safety precaution. This is especially good because there are not lifeguards. If just using the beach and staying in the shallow, they're not required. The water was fairly warm, and the equipment was in very good shape. Sturdy. Kids appear to have a good time, although to forewarn you, the equipment is slippery due to the water. Nothing you can really do to fix that, and my kids didn't seem to mind, but they probably fell dozens of times. I probably would have died. True story. The beach does have a variety of different types of lawn chairs available- bonus you don't have to drag your own here, yay! As it got to be later in the day, it did get busier. Warmer too. There are restrooms in the main building, a variety of snacks for sale- candy, chips, ice cream, and a couple of kayaks you can take into the quarry.

Great place to take the family on a hot day. There are many inflatables on the water to make the most out of the experience there. Even a gigantic chess board to play. Also kayaks and standups available for rent to take a cruise around the quarry.
Not fond of the cost to enter as it can get a little pricey if you have a big family and they divide up the day into two hour blocks for entry.

This is for the 18 hole disc golf course. First 6 and last two are in the open, others are mostly short around 200’, but generally heavily wooded with very thick brush at many locations. Many dual tee pads. Can be buggy in wooded area during wet periods. Challenging and fun course. Course is reasonable to follow, mostly by watching for open trails away from the baskets. Some parking by #1 fairway, or lots by water park.

Water is not near what you'd expect from a "quarry". Pretty gross on the bottom but with the life jackets on you can easily avoid the bottom. The inflatables are fun but difficult to maneuver when busy.

Typical old style Catholic Church, the hard benches and harsh lighting seem to be standard for most churches. I don't quite understand why this is the case, as the majority of the members are middle age and older.

This is a really neat park that successfully added accessibility without sacrificing the fun of the park, in fact, I feel it enhances it. Everything is wider to the point that even an adult can easily traverse most of the obstacles. Kids aren't running into each other as often on the catwalks. There is a lot to do that I have never seen at other children's parks, such as music stations or objects for visual play. Entire park is surfaced with a material that mitigates injuries if someone falls. There are handrails everywhere.
If I were to suggest improvements, it would be nice if there was a gate that could be closed so you did not need to worry about younger children wandering out when they get out of sight which happens really easily.
Trevor Parsons — Google review
Kids always have fun here and the fact that it is closed in so they can't go anywhere without me knowing is the best part . Keeping track of kids running all different directions can be difficult and this place just let's you relax a tiny bit. Plus they have equipment you don't see anywhere else . Some are even fun for adults too ! Definitely a 5 star playground.

Sheboygans first ADA playground. Amazing place. Plenty of things for all kids to climb, slide, and run on. The ground is rubberized so it's easy on the knees to walk on. The entire playground is fenced except for the entrance so parents can rest easy knowing that their kids can't run off.

I've driven by this park many in the winter and always wanted to stop. Today we were walking the Evergreen Park trails and when we left we drove past this playground. Both my boys 3 and 4 screamed to stop. Very clean, well taken care of equipment. Bathrooms were spotless. Lots of stuff for kids if all ages to do. Easy to socially distance as well since the park is so big. We could have spent more time here but we were off to the splash pad. Highly recommend this place. We live 20 minutes away and will definitely make the short drive back.
