The Colorado Model Railroad Museum is a historical institution that showcases exhibits of railway artifacts and features an impressive 3D model railroad exhibit. The museum displays intricate details and fun hidden surprises, such as tiny moving chickens. Visitors can easily spend several hours exploring the museum's vast collection and admiring the craftsmanship required to construct such a grand scale model railroad system. The different sections of the exhibit seamlessly blend together, allowing visitors to imagine themselves as passengers on the train while following its route.
Breathtaking details and fun little hidden gems are sure to be found at the Colorado Model Railroad Museum. (One of my favorites are the tiny little chickens that move. Reminded me of the chickens I had when I was little!) We spent about 2.5 hours here looking at everything and I know that there are tons of details that we probably missed! Just a great appreciation for the time, effort, and ingenuity it takes to design and build a grand scale model railroad system. Each section blends well with the one next to it and I found myself following the train and trying to imagine what it might be like if I were a passenger on the train. My imagination was soaring! We look forward to our next visit!

It was an incredible, one-of-a-kind experience! It's quite impressive to see the amount of work that went into construction of the model railroads.
Make sure you plan to spend over 2 hours exploring the museum. The staff were very polite and helpful. I'd highly recommend this place.

This museum was so much fun!! They've done an excellent job with their train layouts and they have created a really fun hidden items search that's great for the whole family. We ran all over for an hour trying you find all the items on the list. Don't miss this museum. It really was excellent!

I was in awe when I walked through the door. I did watch a few YouTube videos of the place before visiting and I must say the videos doesn’t do it justice. You have to experience it in person to appreciate the quality and effects put into this place. This is a must visit if you are visiting the Denver area. It’s only a 59 minute scenic drive.

A must-see museum for anyone interested in model railroading. It is a huge layout with incredibly detailed scenery and realistic train operations. Allow a minimum of 2 hours - you will be amazed!

Excellent model train displays. Nice and friendly staff. Lots of cool information to read and learn about. Fun interactive displays. Cute micro chickens that move.

So much incredible detail, very impressive! The staff were very kind and helpful. The dinosaur scavenger hunt kept my kids entertained for over an hour.

It's truly a wonderful museum. Greeley has a little gem tucked in downtown. I take out-of-town visitors every chance I get and see a new little detail I missed on previous visits. I am already looking forward to next time!

Loved this gem! Plenty of helpers to ask your questions. Wonderful replicas of life along the rail. Enjoyed the I spy game plus the Christmas village display. Kids will love it too!

Miniatures are quite nice and super detailed. Felt like I was in a I Spy book or Where's Waldo. There is also a scavenger hunt which is a blast! Do recommend.

Had a very good time checking out all these model trains! They’ve created whole world with lots to explore, stories and narratives of real towns and people who existed. The folks who work and volunteer there are passionate and love being engaged with. Definitely a good time for folks of all ages!

CMRM is ALWAYS a joy to visit! I swear, I find something that I hadn't noticed every time I go. And seeing how excited children get seeing everything the museum has to offer brings so much joy!

I have waited for too many years before visiting this wonderland. I could have spent all day there. Although it is 59 miles from my home, I will visit it again. It has one of the best layouts that I have ever seen. The quality of the diorama is top notch. Don’t wait any longer. Go, you will not be disappointed. Sorry I moved all my pictures to my laptop to enjoy them on a bigger screen.

Very cool museum! This layout is massive. There is so much detail, and what a fun experience! The wife really enjoyed it, too. We drove an hour to see this place, spent 3 hours there, and can't wait to return. Well worth the trip!
Pat D — Google review
This is such an amazing museum! On Fridays and Saturdays, it is common to have one or two dozen volunteers operating trains. They all have radios, and obey over 150 signals on the layout. It takes about one hour for a train to go around the massive setup.
Check the museum's website as they have special themed events every few weeks. The place is expanding with outdoor exhibits coming soon.
Kids and adults will enjoy the scavenger hunt to see details in the scenery. Train enthusiasts will enjoy the realism of the historic trains.
I am a pilot, so I was fascinated with the Dispatcher and traffic controls required to operate so many trains at once.

I'm a train guy.....and my expectations aren't high. I have been to plenty of model railroad exhibits, swap meets, and even some museums, none of which can't even come close to comparing to this piece of history circa 1970's in the northwest corridor and pushing a tad modern. These guys really know how to put on a really quality realistic show of extremely talented ho scale model train workmanship. This is definitely something every train lover should see. From wall to wall, it exhibits examples of different scale sizes to different manufacturers, to all kinds of railroadania. It also includes a train simulated style screen from a locomotive that is running a on the layout, that allows you to see first person viewing, and they have a real ctc system dispatched by a real dispatch opperater and it icludes a full sized real caboose you can climb up into and have a look around. This is a very big display not big enough to get lost in but definitely big enough to encompass such an amazing train display.
You won't be disappointed at all. Go have a look for yourself and enjoy!!
One of my favorite breweries in all of Colorado. Excellent range of beers, from at least seven IPA varieties to stouts and sours. Crisp art/decor. And the friendliest bartenders you'll find anywhere. Really cool - I will return!

Loved the atmosphere. We sat outside underneath the canopies but there is an indoor sitting area. I enjoyed the Mexican Lager which was good if you like beer. I personally am not a huge fan and prefer a seltzer. There wasn't any available but they do have a strawberry daiquiri beer that I would recommend if you don't like beer. It was so good, I took some to-go.

Great place, great beer, the food is amazing! I had the coconut cream cheesecake beer, it was delicious! All of our food tastes completely fresh made, like seriously fresh cut and prepared that night. I had the Korean chicken sandwich which came with a cucumber salad, very good. My husband had the grilled cheese and butternut squash soup. Had to be made that day. My son ordered fries, I swear they were fresh cut. Super good and highly recommended.

Flavor, flavor, flavor!! This brewery takes your favorite flavors and turns them to beer. From Joey Spimoni that is a cherry tootsie pop in a glass, to the Berliner Fish that is somehow Swedish fish in liquid form! They never cease to amaze. There’s easily 20 beers on draft at any given time. The brewery has ample indoor seating, as well as a large patio and heated tent. The flights have a great serving tray to help keep track of “what’s what”. Excited to come back soon!

My wife and I are in CO visiting our son and daughter-in-law, and our son kept talking about his favorite brewery called WeldWerks Brewing in Greeley. The four of us stopped by this evening for some food and drinks, and I now understand why this is his favorite. The double cheeseburgers and chicken bacon sandwiches, paired with a Hazy IPA and a Sour, made for a great date night out. The eatery is actually called the Annex @ WeldWerks, and just as advertised, it was all fresh and comforting. The staff was so friendly! The outdoor patio area was a big hit with my wife and now she wants a chair swing of her own. Ha ha. I, too, have now flagged this as a CO favorite.

Been a huge fan of their beers for quite some time now, and have been to the brewery a few times. Per usual, everything I had their was pretty darn yummy! As a huge IPA guy, WeldWerks is virtually second to none in Colorado. Always look forward to picking up some brews from WeldWerks!

Weld works is the brewery to be at. Especially if you enjoy sours, always plenty of options. Seating gets tight during popular hours, but they have both indoor and outdoor seating.

I had their beer but never went to the brewery until now. In short, it was worth the 2 hour drive. Such GREAT beer! My only suggestion is they get a crowler machine. I wanted to take some beer with me they had on tap but at this time they don't have that option. Only some in cans.

Let’s just say WOW! First time coming here and I’m a Greeley native. Never been a fan of beer but decided I’d give it a try and let me tell you what, this place knows good beers. Huge shoutout to Josh the employee helping me find a flavor I loved all within 30 seconds of talking to him! Truly the best brewery experience I’ve ever had and I will be coming back often hopefully to get served by the man Josh! FYI the food is just as good as the beer 😏

A great reason to visit Greeley!
Beers were great - the green ones (Rocket’s Red Glare and Blue Iguana Imperial Sour) seemed especially popular.
The kitchen deserves a special shout-out. I never expected to find a highly authentic La Zi Ji (kinda like Sichuan popcorn chicken) here of all places. Loved the innovation to cut the spice with pickled carrots. The fried okra was amazing too - perfect blend of good slime and crunch.

Best best best best. Had a flight of every hazy IPA and we LOVED IT. Amazing beer. The food is spectacular too. The wings are stellar, especially that dipping sauce. Staff is super friendly. Found their beer at the liquor store but first time here. Glad I came because their menu is way more than just juicy bits. Coming back for sure.

Good god the food here is outstanding. Easily the best in Greeley. Better than any right it has to be at a brewery, hits way above its weight. Beer is pretty good too
Update Dec 30 2023: food and beer and staff continue to be outstanding. Shame though - the only thing that ruins a brewery experience is unattended screaming children running around outside. C'mon, New Belgium is in the next town over, parents

An absolutely wonderful place to stop by for a nice meal, to relax with friends, or just a "cold one". Great beer with lots of short run, limited run brews. Flights available. This is a must stop place. Also kid friendly. All the staff is so friendly and everyone appears they enjoy working there.

Had the place to ourselves (a Tuesday at 3pm) but the staff was on point. Happy to serve & didn’t mind we were there! Great food, amazing beers! Sorry the pic was taken after we hoovered our food. Babacoa Beef Tacos, Chicken Gyro with a Juicy Bits and Beachside Boba to chase it all down. Great place, great staff!!

I was in town for a family function and needed a break from said family. After viewing the online menus of several local breweries, I chose Weldwerks as they looked to have unique beers that fit my preferred flavor profile. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They offered me a taste before committing to a pint. I had a candy corn cheesecake pint and bought a build your own 4 pack. I loved the fruity pebbles inspired sour! My only complaint is they close @ 9pm. I could have easily stayed longer and ordered some food and had another pint or two but the whole town rolls up their streets at 9 pm which is weird for a college town. Great job with the brewery!

Been to many dozens of breweries and tap rooms around the country. Weldwerks is one of the best. Now especially with the awesome kitchen. Always friendly staff, always a fantastic selection on tap, and my favorite double cheeseburger in town.
Centennial Village Museum is an impressive 8-acre site that offers a living heritage experience. Visitors can enjoy tours, demonstrations, and historic buildings which are brought to life by costumed interpreters who are knowledgeable and welcoming. Many of the buildings are open for exploration, providing an immersive experience that is well worth the admission price. The museum also hosts special events such as baby animal days, making it a great place for children to learn about the past.
It's always a nice little outing for me and the kids when we come to Centennial Village. We attended their trick or treat event, and it was nice. Cute, safe place for the kids to have fun, get some goodies, and learn a thing or two.
Sara M. — Google review
Wasn’t very fun. Was expecting a corral type thing where the kids could actually go in and pet the animals. Instead, the animals were in cages unable to pet unless you stick your hand through the fence baby gate type area. Some seemed uncomfortable from the heat and were panting. No other buildings were unlocked to tour and learn about.
The goats were raised for meat anyway, so likely the other animals are too..so they’re just capitalizing on their future demise. Lame.
4 baby goats
Some chickens locked up
Baby chicks
A cow
A couple bunnies
Maybe fun for toddlers, but not older kids won’t be impressed.

All I can say is wow! We didn't know this place existed until we stumbled upon it on Google. We spend about three hours walking the entire place and taking in the history. It is all really well maintained and the folks there make it a great visit, sharing what they know of the history of the area. Highly recommended to take young people to so they can see what life used to be like.

The Greeley Family FunPlex is a sprawling recreation facility that caters to families with various amenities, including a gym, indoor pool, lazy river and miniature golf course. The lazy river offers a thrilling experience due to its strong current, while the slides provide an exciting ride for kids. Additionally, the basketball hoop kept children entertained for a long time. The life guards are highly alert and attentive at all times.
My grandchildren and I loved this place! We went swimming and spent 3 hours there! The current in the lazy river was pretty strong, making chasing games a blast! The slides were scary and fun, and the kids loved the basketball hoop, where they played for a long time. The best part, for me, were the super alert and attentive life guards. Thank you, Drew, Hailey, and Savannah (many more but didn't ask their names). Spotless bathrooms, too, and friendly staff make this a great return destination for us!

Fun! Good prices. Was expecting the pool closure updates to include fixing the slide that has been broken for years and the water bucket but no. Just a new colored slide (same slide) and mural. But overall, kids love it. I love the steam room!
Jenny Joy — Google review
Very disappointed to see that this place has become a cheap baby sitting facility for a bunch of disrespectful juveniles who obviously weren't parented correctly. Caught some kids spraying whipped cream on windows of the weight room last week. They were reported to staff. Many will occupy equipment and sit on their phones or horseplay with their friends with no intent of actually working out. They just get in the way. Many run the hallways with no supervision. Staff needs to enforce the rules and make these kids leave if they are not there to actually use equipment or the facility appropriately. Management needs to start calling parents and revoking memberships. It's ridiculous!

Kids went swimming while visiting from out of town. They had a great time. Bring own locks for the lockers though. Their stuff was gone through in the boys locker room, though they were smart enough not to have brought anything of value. Ages of my kids (6) were from 12 to 23, and they all loved it! Very economical activity on a cold winter day!

Be careful reserving the fun plex
For a birthday party. Reserved a birthday party package. The fun plex
Staff called me on a Friday before my sons party at the end of the business day and cancelled our party for pool maintenance. I get things happen. What is not ok is they hold your payment for 3 weeks even when cancelling due to their own fault or reason. Their staff showed zero care that by cancelling a child’s birthday and holding the payment could completely take the child’s birthday away by just assuming a whole second birthday party can be arranged with zero notice and without the funds they are holding. Change the policy. This is supposed to be a “family” center. Doesn’t seem to be.
Mandy Hetzel — Google review
The pool is super cool but the lifeguard manager is ridiculous. The way she talks to and treats kids is unacceptable. She is definitely on a power trip. The same kids played all day with very little interaction from other lifeguards and when she came on duty all of the kids got yelled at for every little thing. I got sick of listening to her whistle. Numerous families left because of her attitude and presence. I’m sure the amount of parents who rolled their eyes at her pissed her off but she should really take a look at how she comes off to people. Probably won’t return for a while.

Not many public workout facilities like this one. I am a former professional athlete, an Olympic athlete could easily train here and not miss a beat, it has just about everything needed. Staff is attentive and friendly, you can just about eat off the floors, it's exceptionally clean and well maintained, more so than any local gym, including the one just down the road. I'm as fit as I've ever been working out here.
JEFFREYJAMES SPECHT — Google review
Took my kids here for the first time and we all had a blast. Pleased to see plenty of lifeguards patrolling and keeping the grounds safe. Facility was very clean and all water attractions were operational. Pricing is very reasonable, especially if you take advantage of the frequent use memberships. I will definitely be frequenting this place more often.

Was told I could bring a monofin and swim with it in a call ahead, brought other people who also wore monofins and we swam just fine, we even asked the lifegaurds and they said it was fine and to go ahead. Then I come back another day and Devon the manager gets in my face and tells me that we were never allowed to have them here. They told us to leave and we werent there for more than 5 minutes so we asked for a refund and they denied it. Lifegaurds passed by us multiple times with me holding the monofin in hand and while I was putting it on and they never said I couldn't swim with it. It was only when I had fully gotten ready to swim when I was told to leave.
TypeO_Spoopy — Google review
We were on vacation and found this gem online. The ticket prices are very reasonable and the kids had a blast on the slides and lazy river! Definitely worth a visit, great for rainy days!
Jessi Kelley — Google review
My friend and I went here and the lifegaurd watched my friend jump in and then let another person jump in on top of her. Her head was kicked while she was fully submerged and she was elbowed in the ribs/lung as well. The lifegaurd didn't do anything about it after the fact either. On top of it we were both being called a "F a - g o t s" while swimming and the lifegaurds heard the kids shouting profanities and didn't ask them to stop and the children's parents weren't around either. Just doesn't seem like they hire good lifegaurds.
Glenmere Park is a picturesque park in Greeley, Colorado with an abundance of mature trees, ponds, a gazebo, walking paths and a playground. It offers visitors a serene and relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the outdoors. The park's spacious layout accommodates large crowds without feeling cramped or crowded. Such a beautiful park with older mature trees, it's a certainly a hidden Gem of Greeley! Glenmere is one of the few quiet, clean, nice places left in Greeley. It's always so well maintained, and there's rarely any kind of wild behavior going on, which is highly uncommon for Greeley. I love bringing both my kids and my dog here for a nice walk and some time in the sun.

Farr Regional Library - High Plains Library District
Such a wonderful place to read and be a part of the community that provides beautiful literature and education for everyone!
I’ve also had the great pleasure of performing at the library a couple of times myself. Both times as per the UNC Day of Music, where all performing arts students take a full day away from classes and go out into the community to give free concerts to the public.
One thing I think that would add a great variety to their calendar are more music performances, even where performers could be paid for their services. Plus it brings more patrons, donors and more folks out and together with the community at large. So, I’ll continue to be a patron and learn more literature from Farr Regional Library!

We enjoy visiting the Farr Library. It is always clean and organized and the staff is always very helpful and friendly. They offer a great selection of books but they also offer many other things like activities for children, audio books, movies, comfortable seating areas to sit and read or meet, a snack room with vending machines and tables, computers and printers to use while at the library and much more. My son enjoys visiting and would happily while away the day there.

Very nice library. The nicest out of two I have visited in Greeley. The internet speed is pretty decent at 30Mbps up and down. Should be well over 100Mbps up and down at every public library since we do live in the age of fiberoptics now, but at least it is not painfully slow here like some libraries internet connection. I used the quiet computer room which was not being used when I got there. Nice to have a space to really focus and get some important work done.

Great staff, excellent selection. I would give 5 stars if not for the horrible WiFi. Constantly drops, and agonizingly slow. For a multi million dollar library, one expects at least as good wifi as the $30 a month home version.

Out of all the libraries in town, this one is my favorite. They have a huge collection of movies CDs and books. I love that the fees are only for content like movies, and books you can just renew online and you don’t really get fees anymore. I also really enjoy the libraries fast service when you have to order a book that’s not available at this public library. Librarians are always very helpful and eager to assist. There is a nice kids section as well and a nice area in the back to sit and read.

Lots of light and flowing spaces. A real mix of single chairs, alcoves with tables and quad chairs, and small rooms. They have a starter set of video DVDs. Computers and copiers. Coming soon - Pro cameras to borrow. The collection of books while not vast can extend to borrowing from other regional libraries. It is a very attractive library.
The Union Colony Civic Center is a versatile performance facility that boasts both a theatrical stage and a 1,686-seat concert hall. It serves as an ideal regional town theater, hosting acclaimed shows like Shen Yun with convenient shopping options on site. The main theater features good acoustics while the smaller second floor theater is perfect for concerts and recitals with even better sound quality. Ticket prices are fairly reasonable but seating can be cramped, potentially uncomfortable for larger or older individuals.
Have loved and enjoyed this venue for 35 years and still going! There's not a bad seat in the house; acoustics are phenomenal! You won't be disappointed. Building is beautifully designed and a true premier venue to experience in Northern Colorado. Still looks new inside; they really have taken great care of it. Home of Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra and so many wonderful events throughout the year. It's always a special and memorable time spent treating yourself to an afternoon or evening out; you forget you're in Greeley!

The union colony is an excellent facility for a regional town theater. Shows like Shen Yun have toured to excellent acclaim. The place is clean with shopping that often accompany a show. Acoustics are good in the main theater and even better in the smaller second floor theater used for events like concerts and recitals.
Seating is often reasonably priced.
The shows are a hybrid staff of volunteers and paid staff. This can result in an inconsistent experience as some of the volunteers are perhaps a bit aggressive in role.
Seating is small and tight which may be uncomfortable for older or larger patrons.

This was my second concert there although my first concert wasn't with the dynamic conductor they have now. If you enjoy listening to classical music, your best bet is to go to this civic center to hear the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra perform by their new conductor, Lowell Graham. Saw the production of Disney's Beauty and The Beast tonight. The entire show was phenomenal. You're really getting an outstanding show for what you're paying. I would highly recommend watching this company as well as shows at this venue. The venue appears to be small from the outside but the theatre inside is really a decent size. We had comfortable seats and a wonderful view. There really isn't a bad seat in the house since it's not too big. The lobby and bathrooms were very clean. We'll definitely be back for more shows.

Parking was easy and close. The lobby was very nice. The employees were great. There was good security and the drinks were great. Inside the venue felt a bit dated. I'm tall, but the seats were uncomfortable. The sound was perfect, but the show lighting wasn't coordinated well with the stage in my opinion. I was able to get front row seats at a very reasonable price. Overall it was a great way to see a band up close.

I took my kids to take in a Grit game and they loved it!! The tickets were inexpensive. There is better seating up front, in the back is stadium style seating so bring your cushions. They do have a bar so you can drink while you are there. When the team goes on and off the ice they let the little kids line up to give high fives, which was the highlight of their whole night. It is very loud, so don't forget your earplugs if you wear them at sporting events.

By far the nicest rink up here. The adult hockey leagues are fun and competitive, The facility is clean and new. Worth driving here from windsor for hockey vs going to noco ice center which is here in town.

I love the Greeley Ice Haus. I appreciate how it is cold but not too cold. I am learning how to do a triple axle with my eyes closed. Also, the best employee by far is the girl named Morgan. Decamp. She has made my ice-skating experience so enjoyable and always brings me just the right size I need (size 11). Thank you Ice Haus. Also bring back unc hockey thanks

Great ice rink! It was a really nice place and was well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this rink.

Clearly only prioritizes figure. During public they will come off 3/4 of the ice for 4 figure skaters. The rest of the 50 people have to skate in a narrow circle. Figure skating has their own slot so why do they clog up public. When asking the staff they basically say too bad. I recommend going to EPIC because they don't do stupid cones.

Great venue. Went to watch my 3 year old granddaughter practice skating. Lots of help on the ice doing a great job. Jackson was helping Lily's group, and he was very attentive.
Have also watched many Greeley Bears Youth Hockey games here. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🏒🏒🏒🏒🏒
Bittersweet Park is a stunning lakefront park that boasts a veteran memorial, playground, walking trails, and ample open green space. Visitors can enjoy the scenic trail that surrounds the lake while spotting diverse bird species such as red winged black birds and geese. The park features excellent amenities such as covered picnic tables with barbecue grills, pavilions, and two basketball courts. Additionally, visitors can take advantage of the restrooms which open on 05/02/2022.
Amazing sounds from a huge variety of birds while walking around the west side of the lake before sunset on a cool March evening.

As far as outside space goes it's a good spot to get a breath of fresh air and your heart rate up, if you are in the area.
There is water to walk around which seems to be a luxury around here but I will add that I am not a local.
There was a fallen officer memorial which I found interesting, I carve wood as a hobby not professionally, so I am genuinely interested in sculpture. The stone figure looks at his/her feet. A blue light between the feet shines up under the figures chin. The left side of the sculpture is smooth and shows roughed out detail of an arm and hand. The right side is unfinished but has drilled holes at angles into the surface which I took to represent bullet holes. There are stones with thought provoking text around the figure and stone benches to sit on. If you have time your close and you appreciate or are willing to feel the tension I would recommend grabbing a coffee and sitting there for twenty minutes.
There was another memorial on the corner which looked to be bigger in scale but I was cold and didn't make it over. I will before we leave in the new year.

This is a great place to walk your pups! There's enough sidewalk around the whole thing that I can get about 45 minutes of a walk for my big dog, that time includes lots of stopping for smells. I will say though that when it's dark out, the lights on the west side of the park make for a dangerous situation for a lone female, they are bright but below eye level, which makes it impossible to see if anyone is approaching you. So, just avoid after dark, otherwise it's good for walking, running, covered picnic areas, playgrounds, basketball courts--something for everyone!

Gorgeous park with big lake and nice trail around lake. Many red winged black birds, some geese, I saw a big white bird on the lake with a huge yellow beak and a hawk in a tree. The playground equipment for children to play is very nice and the covered picnic tables are very nice. They even have barbecue grills beside pavilions and two basketball courts. Restrooms have a sign that says they open 05/02/2022.

We had our club potluck here for the first time. It was great! The shelter is very nice and has a fireplace for colder months. The walk around the lake is marked with the distance. The Veterans Memorial is a lovely addition, if you've never seen it. There are trees and plenty of parking. Dogs are allowed on leash.

Nothing quite like it! Wiley Roots is located right on the train tracks and has a huge outdoor with plenty of seating and space. There’s a large garage door next to one end of the huge wrap around bar. Even more seating inside with a back seating area to see into the brew house. These beers are out of this world and Wiley Roots takes brewing and flavor profiles to a new level. The detail on their descriptions are extremely accurate. They have an unparalleled “ice cream” line that I will be drinking as my morning smoothie for every brunch moving forward! Many of their options have to be canned due to the consistency, so flights can be more challenging to get, but there was not a single beer I didn’t love. There’s a shot-ski option to have a little silly fun with some friends, plus a few other games. Train Beer is a real thing!! If you’re lucky, you’ll see Midnight, the brewery’s resident kitty who is super friendly and fluffy. There was a food truck outside while I visited over the weekend as well. Can’t wait to come back!

Phenomenal spot. From the staff, atmosphere, beer list, and little Midnight that strolls around sometimes. Wiley Roots is an incredible place to srop by for a quick bite/drink. Rotating beer lists and food trucks, occasional car meet/shows. Trivia nights and $3 beers when a train rolls by. The list goes on and on. Stop by for yourself and enjoy the day.

We were in Greely and wanted to visit a brewery and ended up here - A bit out of the way, but quite busy and a very nice! Small and cozy inside and a large outdoor space and a food truck. The service was great and the beer was delicious. Would definitely return and recommend.

Stopped by while I’m Fort Collins. Place is family friendly and has a nice outside patio if whether permits. They carried the full gamut from lagers to ba stouts of high quality. They also specialize and sours and offer they full gamut in that category from gose, to Berliner, to pastry sour, to smoothie sour. Their options are rare and decadent. The staff was kind and helpful.

Sanborn park offers an excellent playground, walking path, and mostly flat green field for impromptu family sports. It can be a challenge using the few facilities on site and the grounds are not cleaned by the city frequently enough.
Sanborn park is also in a high frequency, moderate risk neighborhood so families will want to stay close to manage risk to the kids.

Great updated playground. Multi-level play structure that isn't very high so great for preschoolers on up. Our group had elementary through high school kids, and everyone enjoyed it. Covered picnic table area, bathrooms in the summer, fishing, and open grass spaces for football/soccer. We enjoyed it.

IT'S A WASTE OF TIME I DON'T EVER RECOMMEND GOING TO THE FISHING DERBY. Greeley is so money hungry and yet they didn't even restock the lake for the kids. We tock our kid's to this place and the whole time (6hrs) and only 1 of my kids caught 1 fish. It was way over crowded and not even worth going. We wasted the whole time untangling the fishing lines. DON'T GO HERE IT'S NOT WORTH IT.

This place is a joke we went to the fishing Derby the other day and it was the first time we went here and I WON'T EVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. They said that they restocked the fish but yet that is a lie. We were there for 6 hours and out of all 8 of my kids one of them caught a fish and that was it for the rest of the time. I do not recommend anybody going to this place especially going fishing it's ridiculous and a big waste of everybody's time.

Another example of a beautiful Greeley City Park. Kudos have to go out, first, to all the folks that maintain the parks and make them as fun, accessible, and beautiful as any city parks, in any city. Secondly, to the City of Greely, for understanding the importance of parks, and by financially sustaining the many parks we enjoy in Greeley.
The wildlife is fun, and the fishing can be phenomenal!!
The Greeley History Museum is a local museum that showcases historical exhibits related to Weld County. It's housed in the 1929 Greeley Tribune building and features a gift shop for visitors. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful with information about the displays. The museum has three levels of history exhibits that are interesting and worth a visit at an affordable price. Additionally, the museum provides an opportunity to learn about local history without focusing on individual experiences.
History is always interesting. Even when it's blatantly been rewritten.

The Greeley museum is beautiful and great for a date or an hour out with the kids.
My older kids were fascinated by the current camera exhibit.
The younger kids loved the potato and sugar beet play area. The aprons and bonnets were so cute on the kids.
Most of the museum is focused on ages 14 and up. There is lots to read and learn.
The rattle snake skin dress is wild, and the story is fascinating.
I look forward to the next new exhibit.

My wife and I come up from Broomfield frequently to enjoy the new museum exhibits and have lunch at one of several local breweries. The core exhibit that outlines the history of the "Colony" and the founding of Greeley is excellent. And of course you have to see Rattlesnake Kate's snakeskin dress made after she killed 140 rattlesnakes! The new exhibit that highlights items in the museum collection that have been "repurposed" from their original use is very creative and definitely worth a visit! Don't miss it!

It is a very nice library. They offer lots of service And are very helpful. Wish they had more automotive learning DVD's. Other than that it is great place

I have always come to this library and I had never had an issue;however, today I asked Linda one of the ladies that work in that location if I could speak to her manager on regards an application that I had submitted, the lady was extremely rude and kept on walking while I was talking to her , she said that if the manager did not call me then the manager wouldn't see me . I explained I had called the corporate number and never got a call back , and she totally ignored me and kept on walking as if I was not even there. This is extremely sad and upsetting to see this kind of customer service. I write this review, in hopes this situation gets addressed and that in the future other people don't get treated the way I was trated.

This place used to be a great place to enjoy some reading, browse on the computers, or even play! Unfortunately, after the makeover, the staff are a bit lazy and don't do much. In the men's restroom, a stranger had peed on the floor, I reported it to the staff and they didn't do much about it but just wait until the elderly old man came through and finally cleaned it. The pee was on the ground for more than 4 hours and there were young children using the same bathroom. This was on of many times this would happen again. Another time, there was a homeless man who would start to instigate drama with other people just because he felt like it. The man seemed like he didn't know what he was doing or where he was. I felt sorry for him but it needed to stop, he was a danger to himself and to others. When I informed the librarian of what happened, she just smiled and went back to work. Some of the librarians are useful while others seem to only talk about their day for hours on end. I would prefer the Farr library. They have less staff but always roam around the library asking everyone who comes into their path if everything is ok and if then need any help. Be better, Centennial.

This place has really gone downhill. It used to be a place where kids felt safe and parents felt safe sending them there. Now the employees don't care one way or the other no empathy at all. Believe me I understand privacy policies but when it comes to a missing child and they won't even tell the police if the child is there that's ridiculous. Privacy can only be taken so far when faced with a child's safety. I talked to the Branch manager who used the same excuse privacy policy. You should be shut down if this is how you view children's safety.

I like how the staff help the people out and help them with anything. I like how there are study rooms. That makes it so other people can have an enclosed area with doing meetings and to have a space to do what they need to do.

I visited for the first time today. It was a beautiful library, but there is a banned book section. When did this country give up our freedom of speech? Because we spoke with a nice man we met (approaching us first) and had a conversation about intelligencent things - you were offended. Sorry you can't handle hearing the truth.

Love the library however this time they are remodeling parts and the working crew where loud and nothing was said to them they didn't have enough computers for all that needed one and had them to close to each other so other patrons bothered each other yet all the shelves where well organized and the place was really clean definitely will go back just hope the construction is done with

We enjoy visiting the Centennial Park Library. It is usually clean and pretty organized and the staff is helpful and friendly. They offer a nice selection of books but they also offer many other things like activities for children, audio books, movies, comfortable seating areas to sit and read or meet, vending machines, a meeting room, computers and printers to use while at the library and much more. This location is closer to our house but we prefer the Farr Library's atmosphere a little more but this is a nice library too.

Greeley Mall is a facility that offers wireless, phone and television services plans in addition to serving businesses at some locations. Although there are a few stores that have closed down, the mall has ongoing construction around the building with hopes of drawing more vendors and customers to create an excellent store location. Despite its exterior appearance resembling scenes from "The Walking Dead," inside it's not bad at all. Some visitors have suggested giving the parking lot some attention.

The Greeley Mall itself has seen ups and downs. Since the Greeley Mall has not seen a lot of changes with and its environment. Overall I can say with confidence that the Greeley Mall it is a okay places, it's not an amazing or spectacular. Only a very few things would change from your time here and your time away. As for the pot-holes outside of the Greeley mall it's only at a few spots around the mall, and if you don't go there you'll be fine.

I just moved to Greeley about a month ago and love it here! The mall which as I remember when I went to school here many years ago wasn't the best mom in the world I should say but it is much much better than it used to be and a lot better and closer than any mall was near where I lived in Brighton. People working there are very nice and helpful. I will be going back many times in the future and I suggest this mall to anyone and everyone. Thank you

Island Grove Regional Park is a vast historical park and fairgrounds spanning over 155 acres. The exhibition space hosts numerous regional events throughout the year, including the popular farm show that occurs annually. The facility boasts several buildings and an impressive outdoor rodeo area, though regrettably underutilized. Island Grove accommodates community and business-related events such as the Weld County Fair regularly. I went to the Greeley Stampede. It is a lot of fun. Lots of food, that is delicious but probably not good for you. There are rides and skill games that no one seems to win playing. The security people do not enforce the bag rule on everyone. If you are young, cute and wearing very little clothes they don't enforce the bag rule. People all look happy and like they are having fun. Families are out enjoying it. Tip if you don't wantvto pay for a concert ticket you can hear the music even better outside of the arena. Pull up a lawn chair and listen

We went for the Danny Gokey/Jeremy Camp concert at the Greeley Stampede. The weather was perfect for it - not too hot, cloud cover most of the day. The concert was great. The sound for Danny Gokey was perfect. But for Jeremy Camp, the vocals were muffled, so the bass and mid drowned out his singing.
As far as the stampede, it just isn't that good. Probably 95% of the event is food and rides. There are hardly any other vendors to find. The rides, although plentiful, are so crammed together that the lines for the rides overlap each other, making it difficult to get through the crowds. For those who want to simply go from one spot to another, it will take a while. There was a seal/sea lion show. I know many people enjoyed this, but I was disturbed. The enclosure was not appropriate for them. I didn't see any sort of attached tank behind the main stage where they could 'stretch' out, but it doesn't mean there was, so I will err on that side. That sort of show should really not be there! The parking and volunteers are very well organized and efficient. So overall, the event would be a lot of fun for kids 8-18. There was a beer garden and live music stage for the adults. But if you go thinking you will see vendors that are interesting and may get you curious about ways to make life more fun or exciting, you will be disappointed.

It was nice for the volleyball tournament we went for, but the food was outrageously priced. Spent a Sunday afternoon and evening here for the Greeley Stampede and it was crowded!!! Lots of families in attendance enjoying the nice weather, the many carnival rides, and multiple food booths or trucks. I came to enjoy the tobyMac concert that evening and was not disappointed!! The concert was awesome!
More benches and picnic tables would have been nice for the thousands of people waiting around. Ordered some potato ribbon fries which were soggy and not salted. Other food items were overpriced for what you get. Way too long of lines for food truck purchases, ride tickets and waiting to get on a ride. Didn't buy any ride tickets due to the long lines everywhere you looked.
All the employees I interacted with were friendly and helpful. Parking attendants did a great job directing traffic.
Great parade with the classic cars, rodeo queens, Longhorn cattle drive, stagecoach pulled by 2 Clydesdale horses, old-fashioned fire truck and horsemen guiding the cattle. Wonderful to see it up close!
If there is something I am truly surprised by, it is the fact that we just happen to have an amazing distillery right here in town. Typically you would think you would have to travel far to find such a gem but great news for Greeley area residents, there is one here. 477 makes one of the best bourbons I have ever had and that is complimented by vast collections of liquors, vodkas, guns, and even more bourbons (try the peanut butter!) They have one of the best drink menus that is constantly being updated and typically rotates for the season. Oh and if you are a fan of old fashions, look no further. On top of all that, the staff and atmosphere round out the enjoyment of hanging out here and enjoying time with friends old and new! Awesome job team for making this an amazing place. Cheers. 🥃

I am trying to find the perfect words to describe this place but there are no words… you just have to try it to see how indescribably good it is. The seasonal drinks are perfectly made with natural ingredient that you won’t find anywhere else. I am like in a transcendent experience with these drinks. I had the pumpkin spice chai and the gin-get bread drink. If I go back, scratch that, when I go back I want the pumpkin spice chain connected directly to my veins! The service was also phenomenal. Allowing us to stay after they closed and having treats available for Cachito. Even he wants another hit!

Original brewery we wanted to go to was insanely busy on Saturday, so we came here instead and I'm really glad we did! It was very calm and quiet inside, the bartender was very friendly, and all the drinks we ordered were DELICIOUS! We also really liked that everything was a flat $12 so we didn't have to decide what we wanted to drink based on price. We unfortunately don't live in Greeley, but will definitely be coming back the next time we are up here!

Edit: 477 continues to impress. Their cocktails are delicious and reasonably priced. Their spirits are well crafted and the staff is amazing.
Original review: Top notch spirits. Though a little young, the bourbon is very good and the gin has a nice kick of flavor that I wasn't expecting. Trendy industrial vibe and friendly staff. I highly recommend stopping by. Just what downtown Greeley needed.

We absolutely love this Greeley Gem, it's our third time back! We always come for the Coffee Spirits and the Lemondrop liqueur, but they have many award winners to choose from. The staff is very friendly, and have fantastic suggestions for mixers for their products so you can make concoctions at home, even from their menu (they'renot hiding any secrets, and know you'll be back)!
We bought a few bottles of our favorites and sampled a taste of their newest flavors: Root Barrel Bourbon, and Lemon Barrel Bourbon

I visit here at least once a week! I love their mocktails, cocktails, and just the atmosphere.
Bingo, Trivia, and other events are always fun!
Kim is one of the best bar managers in town and I love when she is working! But honestly there is not a bad employee in this establishment.
Highly recommend!

This is one of our favorite places for a date night. Matt and his staff are always friendly. We have our favorite drinks but look forward to the new menu options in the different seasons. This place is also family friendly which we love because sometimes we like to stop in randomly and have our kids in tow.

A great go-to spot that is perfect for downtown Greeley. Aesthetic and modern design inside, plus creative cocktails without losing sight of the classics. Live music on weekends and fun events throughout the week - this is the place to be. My favorite drink is the Cherry Sour Sam, but I'm usually sampling their awesome seasonal menus!

Me and my friend were here for a dog show & we’re recommend to visit this place. We loved it so much, we came back two days in a row! We enjoyed 9 different cocktails over the course of two days and every single one was phenomenal! They make all their spirits/liquor in house and we bought 6 bottles of it! The service was amazing & the best part is that they are dog friendly! They even brought my boy a whip cream cup to enjoy! Can’t wait to come back next year to enjoy this place all over again! One more thing is that they partner with the Mexican restaurant next door and they bring the food right to your table!

If you're in Greeley or anywhere in Northern Colorado and looking for an exceptional drinking experience, 477 Distillery is the place to be. Without a doubt, they serve the best drinks in the region. The quality and taste of their liquors are unmatched, and I find myself consistently preferring their offerings over any others.
Their cinnamon whiskey and peppermint schnapps are my personal favorites. Each sip is a blend of perfect flavor and craftsmanship. But honestly, you can't go wrong with anything they serve. The variety and quality are simply top-notch.
The staff at 477 Distillery adds to the amazing experience. They're knowledgeable, friendly, and contribute greatly to the welcoming atmosphere. Speaking of the atmosphere, it's absolutely fantastic, especially on weekend nights when they host live music. It's the perfect blend of energy and comfort, making it an ideal spot for a night out.
I highly recommend 477 Distillery to anyone who appreciates fine spirits and a great environment. It's not just a distillery; it's a cornerstone of good times and great memories in Northern Colorado.

477 is the best place in town. Their drinks are delicious, and it's great that they always change up their menu. If you don't see what you're looking for, they'll come up with something just for you on the spot! The atmosphere is great, the bartenders are super nice & chill. Edgar is a cocktail wizard!

Good food, good drinks. The live blues band did not need their amps, the place is way too small for music that loud. (I can't believe I said that, but many people in our party found the music way too loud.(
The drinks I had were quite tasty. If I was local, I would definitely return... just maybe not on live music night.
The tacos were good. Fish and steak were my favorite.

Arguably the best cocktails to be had in Greeley. Menu changes on a regular basis, so even if you don't like it today, you might in a few months! The small menu of food available from The Rio next door makes it even better!

Ok, so I might be biased because I have worked here. However I was coming here before and after my time working here. That's because the drinks and the atmosphere is just the best you can find in Greeley. The staff is awesome, ownership is fantastic, and they make great booze/drinks. I will always be a fan and this will always be where I take family and friends who are visiting.
