Siesta Beach, located in Siesta Key, offers a range of amenities and activities for visitors to enjoy. The beach features fine white quartz sand that stays cool even in hot weather. In addition to the beautiful beach, there is a playground and tennis courts available for recreational purposes. Year-round lifeguards ensure the safety of beachgoers.
One of my all-time favorite beaches. The beach is big and wide with life guards and has volleyball nets. This beach has a huge parking lot but it fills up fast on nice weather days. Its a long walk from parking lot to the water. There are concession stands and restrooms on site. Great sunsets here!!!

This is now one of my favorite beaches in the US! Such a quiet and chill beach! It’s clean, family friendly but also we didn’t feel like we were over run with children. The water was warm and beautiful. The sand was powdery soft and not grainy like most beaches. The waves were pretty calm for the most part. They have free parking and nice accommodations with shops and a lot to do. I really enjoyed myself and can’t wait to return. Definitely check them out! Worth the trip to have such a relaxing day on the water!

The Gulf coast of the US are home to some of the best beaches in the country and this beach is right there at the top . The sand is soft, white and sugary. The Emerald colored water is very clear. A must visit beach for sure.

I don’t go by ranks, but definitely one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever been to. Whiter then white sand, crystal clear turquoise water. I could listen to the sound of soft waves for hours, watching the kids playing in the shallow water. A decent concession stand, a beach store and clean bathrooms with showers and a FREE parking with a free trolley shuttle to the lovely village makes the place the perfect vacation/getaway spot. I was there in February so it wasn’t full with people just yet, but I can imagine it being a bit crowded when the water really warms up.

Overall… I seen why this has been Rated #1 beaches in the USA.
Met People who came from different countries just to enjoy their vacation/holidays away at this beach and i understood why.
I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a clear beach, great amount of space to place your tint, open concession stands and a lot of activities you can do with friends and family.
Only negative thing is the parking sucks BAD!
9.6/10

Beautiful beach w beautiful sand and view. A lot of people walking the beach, that was nice. Clean and Clear water. Love that they have a concession stand w breakfast in the menu. I had a bagel breakfast sandwich, it hit the spot and they tables you can sit and eat at. They have a small nice souvenir shop.

Super soft, powdery sand. Water is nice temperature and pretty clear. Many little fish swimming around. Didn’t see any crabs, hermit crabs, jellyfish, etc. pretty sure we saw a manatee pop up not too far from the shoreline. The main part of the beach has lifeguards on duty. That area can become very congested. We went way further down and it was so relaxing. Beautiful views. Watched sunset but the views were limited due to clouds that night. Attempted to watch sunrise but it was difficult due the the building on that side. Definitely softer send than turtle beach. Would recommend turtle beach if you’re looking for shells. Siesta Key beach did have some shells, but did not find as many large ones.
Tons of local shops and great restaurants nearby! Check out my other reviews for food recommendations!

Great beach, sand feels so soft and it doesn’t get hot. Water was clear and just warm enough. No issues finding parking but we arrived after 2pm. We stayed to watch the sunset and it did not disappoint.

It is the most beautiful beach that I have ever seen. Perfect white sand is so thin and delicate. Stays cool even in the high heat. Just Perfect.

One of the best beaches. Very clean, very beautiful and proper restrooms. The sands are so silky. White sands make the view of the beach unforgettable for you. One of the beaches that you would not be bored of watching it. The birds also make it more amazing.

Coming from the East coast beaches, Siesta Key was a refreshing change from the heavy, pounding waves at Cocoa beach, Melbourne beach, Sebastian Inlet and Vero Beaches. The waves at Siesta Beach are relaxing and hardly any current to worry about taking you away. Waist to chest deep clear cool water make it nice to cool off after laying in the sun. Of all the beaches I have been to in Florida, this is my favorite. I will be visiting again.

I have been going to Siesta Key Beach for years! It is, in my opinion, the best beach in the United states. The quartz sand is baby powder soft and bright white! The waters are crystal clear and have the most beautiful aqua blue color due to the quartz sand reflecting under the water. It is so beautiful, it's like being on a Caribbean island. Siesta Key is the only Beach I will go to in the United states. No other Beach compares.

Linda and I drove down from Longboat Key to Siesta Key Beach to see for ourself the famous white sand. It was unbelievably soft to walk on and regardless of how hot the day became, you could still walk on the white quartz sand without burning your feet. We had an awesome time with plenty of free parking, restroom and outdoor showers and the water was just great! If we had more time, would definitely consider spending another day at the #1 beach in the USA!

One of the most amazing beaches of the world. The smoothest and most white sand I’ve ever seen. I highly recommend to have your sunglasses with you because the white sand is reflecting the sun so much. And if you want to enjoy the water, don’t forget an umbrella or a pavilion to have some shadow. I highly recommend going to the beach on weekdays because on weekends it’s very full. And if you can manage it enjoy the beach in the early morning when you can look at the sea and the sun rises to your left, this is an awesome start into the day and you won’t be alone.

Nearly 80 degrees today. Water tempt was in 60s, possibly 70s. Food. Folks. Fun. Families. Vendors. Clean restrooms. Volleyball. Swim. Shop. Competitive parking. Patience. Follow the arrows. Avoid ignoring the DO NOT ENTER signs in the parking lot. Be kind and avoid stealing parking spaces from other patrons. Be nice.

Drove 3 hours to see this beach for my birthday.. totally WORTH it !!!! The water is so clean, & clear. The sand is so white, & soft on your feet. It’s so quiet & calm unlike Miami/South beach where it’s so damn loud & filled with weirdos. The concession stand staff were so welcoming. I could literally go on & on. 10/10 recommend. I’d for sure come again.

From the moment you set foot on the beach, you are greeted by a sense of tranquility and beauty that is unmatched. The water is clear and inviting, ideal for swimming or simply soaking up the sun. With its natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere, it's no wonder why Siesta Beach is consistently ranked as one of the best beaches in the US.

This is a beach that I would say is a must see for people coming to Siesta Key! There are SO many facilities that are kept very clean such as restrooms, changing rooms, and playgrounds. There are lots of parking spaces but is free, it is nicely maintained by Siesta County. The beach itself is very picturesque with white sands, and sandbars that make it shallow and fun to play in for children. The sundeck is a very nice facility with sunbathing chairs, umbrellas and a restaurant that offers Mexican food, sandwiches, and more. Overall this beach gets a 10/10!

Beautiful view. Love the sand. It is so soft. A lot nicer than Clearwater Beach. When we were there, some people was lighting up the floating lantern in memory of their loved ones and it was beautiful to watch. The water was cold during this time, so it's best to come in the summer time.
Crescent Beach, a charming and curving shoreline, is renowned for its exquisite white sand and stunning sunset vistas. Situated on Siesta Key near Sarasota, this idyllic beach offers an array of amenities amidst its powdery sands. The beachfront area boasts numerous hotels and condos, yet manages to maintain a more tranquil atmosphere compared to neighboring beaches. This hidden gem allows visitors to find their own secluded spot along the shore.
Beautiful white sand beach. Saw a pod of dolphins there on an early morning walk along the beach. Beach umbrellas are available to rent. One way line of parking available, but fills up fast. Turn around available at the beach end of the parking area. Short walk on a sandy trail from there to the access to the beach.

Crescent Beach ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Beach
in Siesta Key, Sarasota, FL, USA
Sylvia 3⭐️= average/good
To visit this beach you need to be staying or living in one Siesta condos, houses or hotels on this side if the island. There is no parking available just to visit Crescent. You’ll have to go to Siesta Beach to park. This beach is full of walkers mostly in the morning but all day long there are thousands of people walking. Each of the beach front properties are flagged off for their guests. You can bring your own chair if you’re staying across the street and sit waters edge. Remember to check the tides schedule for best time to go out. Red Tide (the algae bloom caused by chemical spills) is usually between April & November, smells like a toilet if wind is blowing toward the gulf, it’s ok. Look up Red Tide Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission for latest guidance. The plus of this beach the most beautiful sunsets and a great place if you like to pick up a shell or two as a souvenir. Good for families and adults of all ages.

Spent an evening wandering the beach for an hour just before sunset. Would have stayed longer for sunset but our parking time had run out ($8 per hour, pay by plate on machine or phone, less than 10 minute walk across the street behind restaurants). We did pass about 10 free parking spaces down the beach access lane. Beautiful, soft sand. Warm water. Nice atmosphere of other people enjoying the beach. Lots of condos and beach rentals.

Crescent Beach has the finest sand that feels so soothing as you walk on it. The beach spans for miles and has so much space that it doesn’t feel crowded. There are options for kayaking and fishing. There is a trolley that you can use to quickly get to the village where there are shops and restaurants. I absolutely love it here for a peaceful and relaxing day. ☀️🙂

Super white sand, nice beach to swim. The other side is lagoon which kayaking tour is available to see animals. Not much shade and limited parking spaces. It can get quiet busy.

Beautiful, however very small. Unless we were in the wrong place, we were unable to walk the beach (no access).
Sue Ellen P — Google review
Physically it’s a beautiful beach, white sand and the water is clear. Definitely more seaweed accumulation and stagnant water at the south end of it near the rocks.
The only reason I’m reviewing this beach is because many of our family members got really bad cases of sand fleas and noseeums from this beach. It definitely hindered the trip for many of us and still do back at home now. So make sure you always have repellant on even for walks. Many in our party never went to the water nor layed out in the sand and still got them from sitting in chairs.

What a zoo. Major parking lot with long walk to the shore. Best super fine white sand I've seen but hard packed. Super packed with people and condos with the private property flags. Showers and restrooms, but start walking before you need the facilities. It's a long walk. Reminds me of Los Angeles but cleaner.

Awful awful.... can't get parking. Disrespectful area cause of the volume of traffic.the public who come hear on beach do not care about any thing cause of litter and herass the little animals left around. The water isn't healthy cause of the pollution. Redtide demolished the ecosystem cause of state doesn't manage its contaminated waters

Great beach, less crowded than Siesta and if lucky, you can park at access #12! More shells and the water was oerfect.

Beach is beautiful but NO RESTROOMS for visitors. If you don’t live in one of their resorts, you need to do before coming to that beaches. The whole beach walk has private property sign .

We've been coming to this area for years now. Seems like the famous beach north of this one has gotten drastically more popular since the last time we were here. I'm glad we ended up here in Crescent beach. There are many benefits.
1. It's a shorter walk to the water.
2. The water is calmer.
3. No incline or decline to get into water.
4. Less people.
There's only one bad thing in my book. I'm not going to deduct stars but the ditch drainage/street water drainage comes out on the beach and makes pools. I'm not sure if that's normal or what but it kind of grossed me out. Still didn't take away the beauty.
Point of Rocks Rd is a picturesque avenue bordered by trees, flanked by coastal residences and ending in a path guiding visitors to a sandy beach famous for its dolphin sightings. The street enjoys the shade provided by the arboreal foliage on either side. The seaside dwellings complement the serene atmosphere exuded by this charming location. Moreover, strolling down to the beach, one can relish breathtaking views of dolphins frolicking around in their natural habitat.
Once you've explored the recommended restaurants for your vacation, there are plenty of other activities to keep you busy. Aside from the stunning white sand beaches and the nearby Sarasota arts district, don't miss out on Siesta Key Village. One of its highlights is the local Farmers Market, where you can immerse yourself in a vibrant display of island art. Although it operates only on weekends, this market is renowned for its wide range of offerings, from fresh produce to unique pottery and crafts.
A really sweet little Farmers Market of 18-24 vendors - all different kinds. Our party purchased handmade soap, a dog toy, bourbon cake, salad dressing, fresh produce, souvenirs, and CBD cream!

More of a craft market this time of year. Only 1 tent with fruit and veggies. But I question the freshness. Oranges were moldy, mango was moldy.

I have never been treated like this by two incompetent individuals. We had been there looking at all there offerings. We moved up to look at the ice cream. So we decided to have ice cream. Some young spring breakers came in behind us and the employees started to help them. Without even acknowledging us or say if they could help us. Once I acknowledged we were there first they were combative to us. They told us to leave. All we wanted was something sweet after our lunch across the street.

Went for ice cream after dinner. Upon entering we were greeted by very enthusiastic owners, they encouraged us to try samples before purchasing, were great conversationalists and had a wide variety of choices. Highly recommend for ice cream and fudge (we did not try any other products).

Craving fudge but it leaves a lot to be desired. Cookies and cream was super sweet and the chocolate peanut butter had a waxy taste. I've had way better fudge elsewhere. At $22/lb I'd spend my money at the ice cream shops across the street next time.

SCAM!!! Eye catching place. Well decorated and attractive. Everything looks delicious but it is a total rip off. too expensive, and terrible customer service. We went looking for the chocolate covered bacon and a single piece of bacon cost 5 bucks, way too expensive, and the taste was awful, it tasted like flavorless bubble gum. iuk. not recommended.

This place has a truly awesome assortment of handmade confectionery delights, from exotic fudges to a huge selection of awesome tasting ice 🍨 cream..if your not watching your waste line and are looking for a super tasty treat then you have come to the right place. The aroma wafting from this shop alone is enough to send someone blissfully over the edge. At least take a quick look inside, if not to enjoy the flavors, then at least to truly test your will power, lol. They will provide sample tastes upon request....
