Brown County State Park, a stunning park with undulating hills, provides visitors with numerous activities such as hiking and biking on various trails, guided horseback riding, fishing opportunities and a water park. The historic lodge offers rustic accommodation and an array of sitting areas to relax in or play at the arcade. The well-maintained campsite is ideal for camping enthusiasts. Expectant mothers should be aware that trail horse riding may not be permitted.
Beautiful park with rolling hills and lots of activities. We hiked trails 1, 2, and 3 and enjoyed the scenery. The lodge is rustic and historic. We LOVED relaxing in the many sitting areas and porches, playing at the Arcade, savoring the delicious food, and of course playing at the waterpark.

Brown County is so beautiful and seems to never end when you stop at a lookout. I spent a couple of days there camping by myself for the first time and had a great experience. Maybe it's the atmosphere or the just the nature of the job but the staff are super friendly and seem to love being there and are very helpful. I'm definitely going to be returning soon!

First I'd like to share this is not free, you do have to pay for parking which for us was 9$ which okay fair, just didn't realize there was a charge. Other than that, what a marvelous place! SOOO many trails to choose from, some longer than other, some rougher than others, and some more mushrooms then others. Ha! Overall, if we are ever back in this area, we'd love to try more of the trails. Thank you!!

This is a wonderful absolutely beautiful state park. Make sure and visit during fall time if you can, the views are stunning and the leaves are so colorful & bright. We love hiking the trails, checking out the fire watch towers, exploring around the lakes. Great campgrounds. Bathrooms are always nice and clean. The nature center is nice & the attached bathrooms that are open even when the center is closed is nice, always clean & you can refill your water bottles here. Dog friendly, we've brought along our 3 dogs to walk the trails lots of times. Nice pool during the summer. Horseback riding. The playgrounds are great too and my kiddos love them. This park is definitely a must visit. So beautiful & peaceful! An outdoor lovers DREAM!

We drove to Nashville, IN from Cincinnati with ease and hiked this state park with our dog for the better part of the day. We did the Discovery Trail, Friendship Trail, Trail 3 behind Abe Martin Lodge, and visited the Fire Tower, North Lookout Tower, and West Lookout Tower.
The North and West Lookout Towers were the highlights of the man-made features of the parks. They provided decent views of the areas and were well maintained. The Fire Tower, built in the 1930s, was not worth the climb. The whole thing shook slightly as I ascended with others coming down, and the view from the top was not worth the climb it took to get up there. When it was built almost 100 years ago, I imagine the trees were shorter and provided a better draw distance on the land. Still, it’s a neat tower worth photographing.
The trails we visited were nice. Nothing substantially better than anywhere else we’ve hiked, but well maintained and relatively easy. Our dog had a great time sniffing the path as we looped around Trail 3 and the others. We stopped by Hesitation Point and enjoyed a pretty good view, too.
It’s $9 per car to visit. I’d say it was worth it for at least one visit.

It's one of our favorite state parks! The campground is huge and very wooded with large sites. Also, top rated mountain bike trails.
The nearby town of Nashville has lots of nice shops, restaurants and antique stores. And multiple historic covered bridges nearby too.
We love this area, nicknamed "The Little Smoky Mountains"

It is one of the best kept natural gems that we have been to recently. Everything is so well maintained and so beautiful. Living in Colorado made us believe that we have every taste of natural beauty here, but a recent visit to Nashville,IN, and then going to Brown County State Park changed that perception. Hikes around the Ogle Lake and Waterfall at Strahl Lake were amazing, and throughout the park, scenic drives and picnic tables/shelters are there. One can stay inside the park in a lodge, cabin, or camp out. If you are a mushroom enthusiast, then you can spend days studying countless varieties. Lake Ogle is full of water dwellers, too. Wild flowers are in abundance. 100 or so feet tall tree will leave you awestruck. Restrooms and playgrounds are everywhere.

Brown County State Park is a nature lover's paradise! The park offers a diverse range of outdoor activities, from scenic hiking trails to picturesque picnic spots. The natural beauty, including the stunning views from the tower, is awe-inspiring. Well-maintained facilities and friendly staff make it a top-notch destination. Whether you're into hiking, birdwatching, or just unwinding in nature, Brown County State Park is a must-visit gem in Indiana.

I've had a decent experience so far with the park. Warning if your pregnant you cannot ride a trail horse. Fishing was great, lodge was amazing and trails are yet to come. Beautiful place for the kiddos.

Love this state park! It's one of the biggest I've been to! It has great hiking and biking trails and all the bath houses are pretty clean! Although, i wish it had more of a swimming beach, but they make up for it with a pretty big pool! Overall, i highly recommend amd would camp here again!

Such a beautiful park with several scenic views. We loved spending time with our family in one of the Abe Martin Family lodges. Lots of hiking trails (for walking, mountain biking, and horseback riding), playgrounds, and picnic areas for enjoying the outdoors. Our son loved the Nature Center and the Discovery Trail right next to it. My husband and I did the trail that went around the lake and loved the views!

Camped at the Horseman's camp, first time in the last ten years and it was wonderful! The parks and local horse clubs have done an excellent job improving the campground and horse trails. Nice pit toilets, concrete manure pits, gravel sites. Trails in good condition even after rain. There are two dump stations in the horse camp so you don't have to go up to the main campground to dump.

Excellent nature spots.
Good for kids too!
Ample parking spaces !
Oh, I absolutely love coming by for horse riding ! Sometimes horses are available immediately and on busy days you might need to wait for a few hours! Explore the trails while you wait.. it’s worth it :)

Stayed one weekend camping and mountain biking. The park has diverse trails for MTB, hiking, and horse riding. The shower rooms and restroom at the campground are kept clean.
Love the Hesitation Point trail. A good mix of technical then smoother end to the North Gate.
The park is busy in the fall season. The views at the vista points during the season are amazing. Lots of picnic tables scattered around under the shades of trees and vista points.

Largest and most scenic state park in Indiana. Hopped on a couple of the trails today without any issue. Passed a couple mountain bikers, who had more guts than me on these trails. A few pull offs for great views without hiking. Lakes. Camp grounds. Horse trailers. Really can’t go wrong.

Beautiful park to visit in the fall. Horseback trails were great for all ages, 7-77. Close to Nashville, the two stops make for a great day out.

I was surprised to see so many cars in line to get in, but I get it that place is beautiful. The scenery is amazing, and in the next few weeks, as more trees change colors, it will be stunning. We just went for the scenery but they have loads to do. There is fire tower, stables, hayrides on the weekends. A nice lodge trails and pool in the summer. I'm sure I didn't see all they had to offer.

Really something for everyone here. Hiking, biking, horse trails, outdoor swimming pool, lodge with indoor swimming pool, playgrounds, cabins, camping, restaurant, picnic areas, scenic drives, horseback riding during the spring, summer and fall. It is easily accessible from Hwy 46 and a short drive from Nashville. One of Indianas' best State Parks full of adventures for the individual or families.
Went with my wife and a friend to do the smaller (25 minute tour & tasting) and dinner at the restaurant afterwards. Tour provides enough info to people that are only mildly interested in spirits and can even teach those who enjoy them. The facility is state of the art, but very welcoming. Tour guide kept it light and informative.
Checked in to try to grab a table for dinner and was given a 90 minute wait time. Pro tip: if your party is all over 21, full menu is available at the bar to avoid the wait. Our friend treated us all to the pulled pork nachos - highly recommend. Could’ve used a bit more pork on them, but was very tasty.
My wife ordered the brisket and I got the spicy bacon burger. Service was quick and food was very good. Our bartender/server Amanda had personality plus and really made the evening fun. Be sure to ask Amanda about the “Coconut Shower” if you see her.

Our family of four had an absolute 5 star experience on the Monday after Easter. It was a quiet day around Nashville and at Hard Truth which gave us the unique opportunity to chat with staff and have individualized attention and service.
We did the ATV tour on the Mule and loved it! Drinks & education were part of the experience as we rode around the property.
Thank you Matt & staff for making us feel welcome!

I love this place. The food and drinks were amazing and all my choices were recommended by the bartender. From the moment she came to me to help me I felt her great energy and vibe. The most awesome and genuine bartender I've had in a very long time if not ever. So why do I love this place? I love Katie Mae ; )

My Bloomington based friends took me out to this intriguing place one evening back in January. We didn't really have time to do the full tour of the distillery but we took the opportunity to visit the shop and sample some of their wares. The young lady behind the counter seemed to be glad to have someone to talk to & she helped us make our selection of delights to try. I went for three rye based whiskeys ( High Road Rye, Harvest Rye & Sweet Mash Rye) which were excellent. My friends went for a wider mixture of Toasted Coconut Rum, Cinnamon Vodka & Peanut Butter Whiskey. Uniquely interesting would be the best way to describe them.
This place really is something different. If I ever come back to this part of the world I'll be sure to leave enough time to explore it properly. And take home some "souvenirs"!

We visit Nashville, IN once a year every Fall & stopped here for lunch today. First off this place is nestled away on top of a hill In a awesome wooded location that is set up very nicely. They have a courtyard with plenty of space to walk around, while also having plenty of outdoor seating as well. We even walked to a dock that had picnic tables & a machine you could buy food to feed fish. Made the hour wait fly by & kept the 3 kiddos entertained. Only giving a 4 star review as the food was a little pricey IMO. Food & beer were both good. We will be back!

This was the 5th time we have eaten here and will probably be the last. Poor service, waiting 11 minutes after being seated at a dirty table for a waitress and having to asked for it to be cleaned. Also was given a dirty plate after asking for silverware and napkins after our food was brought to the table. Our check was dropped off at the table before we were done eating and never asked if we would like anything else. We would have ordered another beer but then decided to go somewhere else where our money would be more appreciated. Sadly their service and quality have gone down hill for several years. We ordered their signature pulled pork nachos that were good but not the quality that we have gotten in the past at the original Big Woods in Nashville Indiana. We have been loyal customers since 2009 but it's time to move on. The wait staff and employees at the original Big Woods definitely were awesome and helped build a great business. We miss them and there dedication to their customers. We live 3 hours away and would make Big Woods in Nashville a destination just for lunch, sadly the journey has ended.

I definitely recommend Hard Truths restaurant! Their drinks are delicious (I got the coconut chai latte) and their burgers are freaking thick and juicey!!! My only downside is I ordered the truffle fries and compared them to regular fries and their oil tasted the same. 🤷♀️ Expect to spend a lot but very worth it! We also apologize for staying late last week. We did not know we stayed 30 minutes past closing and we felt bad when we left. Thank you for your great service and food.

Stopped in here for lunch just before noon on Monday (day before the 4th). Thought it would be crazy busy due to the long holiday weekend, but we were seated immediately. Options of indoor and outdoor seating, with stunning views. This entire property is incredible! --> Check out their live music events. We hadn't planned ahead enough to book an ATV tour, but it is absolutely on the list for a return trip. There is a walking trail behind a big pond, although the trail was closed due to a downed tree that had fallen during recent storms. Highly recommend the pulled pork nachos! Drinks were strong, and super tasty. Gift shop/packaged liquor area are super cute, and reasonably priced. Service was friendly. Will absolutely be returning!

Amazing! The grounds are gorgeous. It was a beautiful day so we decided to enjoy the outside area. So much seating and tables available. We ordered some appetizers from inside and brought them out with us. Wings are delicious! And pretzels is huge! We ordered smash burgers and hot dogs along with drinks (full bar available) outdoors. One of the best burgers I’ve had. Had fires set up in some areas for when weather chilly and huge jenga game that our teens enjoyed! Has a music area outside but the music was indoors that day. Not a problem. We could still hear them. We will return and hopefully enjoy music outdoors. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TOP NOTCH! Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly and nice. Cannot wait to return and do the tastings and tour grounds more!

Absolutely, the best hamburger I have had in twenty years! Rode our motorcycles up here to the HTDC, had lunch and walked the grounds. Didn't have time for the ATV tour or pontoon tour but visited the gift shop and tasting bar. If you don't come for the spirits, come for the food. You won't regret it!

Despite a slight wait (with reservations - the check in process could be improved) to seated for lunch, the meal and service was excellent! The pulled pork nachos appetizer is a win! Our sandwiches were tasty and well prepared. The grilled chicken with maple bacon and pulled pork grilled cheese were outstanding! The chicken was moist and tender, not dry at all. Highly recommend the toasted coconut chai latte too!
My wife and I had a great time today stopping in! (March of 2022)

Would highly recommend a visit to this distillery and tasting. 👍

This place is a hidden gem. Plenty of moonshine flavors that you won’t find anywhere else, and a nice selection of aged whiskey from bourbon to rye to cask strength and aged bourbons finished in different barrels. The selection they have at this distillery is pretty amazing and the great staff is there to help with any decision or questions. You can take a tour of distillery. Then you can do flights of the different brands or get a cocktail or two made. The Bourbons that they have a pretty darn good especially the 128 proof one. I also highly recommend the apple pie and raspberry moonshine. They're unlike any of the others I've tried before!

Visited Bear Wallow on a recent trip. Had the opportunity to meet the owner and sample a flight of their whiskeys. My personal favorite bourbon is Weller 12 & I prefer wheated, full flavored spirits. That said, I was very impressed with their handmade products. Particularly enjoyed the Gnawbone Single barrel. My friends have been equally impressed.
Definitely recommend stopping by. Great, comfortable atmosphere with friendly staff and top drawer products

This is an adorable family owned winery. You are able to do 6-8 complimentary wine tastings. The bottles are really affordable (some are $9.99) compared to any other winery I've been to. My partner and I left with six bottles of wine. Definitely stop by Brown County Winery if you're traveling through this area.

I really enjoyed this place. First off great variety to try. Second they give you 6 free samples which is unheard of these days but I really appreciate that. There were very good about waiting on us even though it was crowded. Love the Blackberry wine if you like sweet wines. Definitely try the port wines if you like that style they were deliciously smooth and tasty with a kick. We were fortunate enough To be there on a sunny day so set on the porch and drank a bottle of chilled win. Great way to spend an afternoon. Reasonable prices for their wines just make it that much better. Weekends
Definitely csn get crowded especially in nice weather.

My husband and I have been to brown country state park and downtown nashville about a million times, but we never had a chance to stop at this winery until now. We did a wine tasting, which was complimentary by the way... that's awesome! We loved pretty much every one we tried so we ended up buying a case of 12 different wines. Everything was very reasonably priced. Also did a little shopping in the little store. They had some really cute Christmas gifts for my girls at work! We then decided to take a bottle and some snacks onto their patio area. Such a nice relaxing afternoon getaway! Can't wait to go back!

We really love BCW, the staff and the wines are fantastic. Looking forward to seeing you again.
We attended the Steve Earle & The Dukes show. When we arrived we were on the list but the ticket taker didn’t know what that was. After we explained what that meant they called someone else over to take us to get our tickets. We had 2 tickets that came with only 1 back stage pass. The woman that gave us the tickets told us to come back after the show and they would give us the other pass. After the show we went back to the counter and the woman said they had made a mistake by giving us the pass and that we could no longer go back stage. It was all very confusing. The tall gentleman that was taking people back stage was very rude to us.
It was a very nice venue. Not a bad seat in the house unless you’re sitting in the middle. Their is no middle isle so you have to interrupt a ton of people if you need to get up to use the bathroom or get more to drink. The drinks run about $10 a pint. The acoustics were great. The seats were comfortable. After the show ended and the band left the stage people started to leave but we stayed and continued to clap. They eventually came back out started to play again. Instead of one more they did several. After the first one we walked to the stage and watched the rest of the show. We were lucky but the people that tried to come after us not so much. They blocked the way and stopped letting people go up front. The show was great. I’ve read complaints that Steve Earle talks politics during the show but he didn’t during our show. We thoroughly enjoyed the show.

SECURITY: It's excessive. Just as severe as a professional sporting event. Don't bring a purse, umbrella...just leave everything in your car.
VENUE: The seating area is spacious. Levels make every seat a great seat. Unfortunately, after COVID, they don't allow you to exit through the "exit" doors around the theater. You can ONLY exit through the back of the theater which makes leaving a long and difficult process.
PARKING: Not only do you have to pay for tickets, but you also have to pay for parking. There is only one entrance/exit for the parking lot, so after you leave the theater, there's another long wait for the parking lot to clear.
CONCESSIONS: Nice benefit of having concessions for the concert / event you attend.
RESTROOMS: Very nice! Love that there are MANY restrooms. Clean and stocked.
LOBBY: not much of a lobby area for such a large venue. It's difficult if you are waiting for friends to arrive. So many people crammed into one small space. Especially if the Event is selling T-shirts or CDs.

1st time, we loved it. Great seats in middle section. Very nice building , very clean. The music was Christmas music and songs they sang. It's was a 2 hour drive back to Evansville, so I wish it would have started earlier. The 10 dollar parking is pretty steep for being on gravel. 20 dollars to park on pavement. We don't drink. So I don't know about concession prices. Overall a very enjoyable experience ☺️

The venue is a marvel. Seating is organized perfectly so that every seat is a good view of the stage. A lot of bars to stop at so never a long wait. The music sounded superb and the smoking area is one of the best I've ever visited. Parking was excellent. You could park by the theater for a fee and overflow was free across the street, where a shuttle would pick you up. Everything looks great in there and they definitely keep up with renovations. Almost every staff member I interacted with was amazing and hospitable. The box office lady knew me before I even got there because of my brother leaving a ticket for me. The ushers take you right to your seats if you ask and feel like they are having fun just being there. Every bartender was super friendly and helpful.
A few complaints I had though, mostly minor. There was no indication where the shuttle would pick you up. There was a large group, maybe 20 people waiting, so I waited with them. Once the shuttle got there it passed right by us and let people on up the hill from us. Had some jerk behind us mess with my beer during the opening set. When I went up to the nearest usher to get help, he scolded me for not having the correct red armband. Didn't even listen to me just told me to get lost. The next lady was awesome and the bartender was very cool with the situation. The merch lines clogged up the lobby big time and make it hard to know where what line starts and what your waiting for. Also being cashless is lame and the drinks were a bit higher than I expected in a smaller town.
All in all a great venue and a good time. I would go back for a show again. Just a few little kinks to work out maybe to be a perfect experience.

What a gem of a venue tucked into the heart of Nashville. The parking was easy and well staffed coming and going (and only $10). Concessions moved quickly and were priced as you'd imagine. The staff were really friendly and seemed to enjoy their job. Ushers were even on hand to help you find your seat. The venue is quaint and intimate so there isn't a bad seat in the house. We saw Blue October. The balcony is the same level as the main stage floor but just rises up. I'd attend another event here anytime! Oh, do check the website about their handbag policy and you'll be good.
We are locals and we volunteer at the playhouse as ushers and in the bar regularly. This place is such a gem in the middle of Brown County! They have a huge variety of musical acts and community theater an intimate 400 seat space. There isn't a bad seat in the house! Lots of musical and comedy acts - Heywood Banks and Garrison Keillor as well as Henry Lee Summer, and lots of tribute bands ( think Journey, Buffet, Abba) that are really really good. It is usually open seating so choose your spot and the bar is fabulous 😍. The bartender has specially themed drinks that match the performance a full bar, local beer and wine, and hot popcorn. This is a non-profit organization and the community theater performances are amazing! Right now is Legend of Sleepy Hollow and it's a Christmas Story in December of 23. They sometimes show recent or themed movies for a very low price. I recommend visitors always check out what's playing while you're in BC. Advance tickets available or same day at the box office and very reasonable prices.

The Maltese Falcon radio performance was amazing! We enjoyed the cast and voices moreso than some in the iconic movie 🎥! Can't wait to attend future events. Also, the staff was very inviting and friendly and the snacks were yummy.

We love supporting this establishment!
Love the concession stand. Popcorn, candy, soda at an affordable price.
They also sell adult cocktails.
Free coffee and water bar is a big plus in my book! Thank you
Mostly all proceeds go back into the venue. I love supporting places like this.
I'm proud to have this establishment in my neighborhood! Keep up the hardwork!

The staff was amazing, and a great, smaller venue for shows. We saw an Elton John tribute band for our 40th anniversary and the staff arranged for roses to be delivered to my wife that night during a performance. They went above and beyond to accommodate. Thank all of them for their efforts!

We attended an evening listening to the John Denver tribute band. The Brown County Playhouse is a favorite place to go. Always a comfortable environment, every seat is a good seat, staff is always warm, welcoming and helpful. Enjoy the rotating artwork before, during and after every event. Specialty refreshments are always a nice touch, including good coffee & popcorn offered.

A great venue to see live music, stand-up comedy, and live theatre! I'll go back any chance I get! But make sure to purchase tickets early because shows do sell out.
Very nice gallery with multiple mediums. Probably the nicest shop in Nashville, not the normal. Friendly staff who were happy to answer questions. If you’re into traditional are rather than the arts and crafts of Nashville this is the place.

Beautiful collection from Indiana artists including John Mellencamp. It is worth the visit. Has a nice gift shop.
Pioneer Museum houses historic monuments of the 1800s, such as log cabins, a blacksmith shop, jail and doctors' office. The museum offers an interactive experience where visitors can view old tools and learn about their usage. It is a pleasant place for families to tour and take their kids and grandkids to burn energy outdoors. With over 50 years of operation, Pioneer Museum remains a must-see stop for anyone interested in experiencing America's pioneering past.
I love the mini-museum! It's wonderful to be able to see historic monuments and to be able to interact with them. It was a very beautiful experience looking at the old tools people used to use and remember their names. Highly recommend, especially if you have kids.

Pleasant place to tour and to take the kids and grandkids to so they can get some energy used up, rather than cooped up inside all the stores. I was there over 50 years ago. Hard to believe it's still there to enjoy with my grandkids

I learn a lot of interesting stuff about blacksmith and the area is peaceful and relaxing the be around. Which the workers were nice as well.
Lacking in vintage soda advertising, but at least there was something.

Not only does this mall have everything you could ever want to buy, but the staff is so helpful! Our car broke down and they were very patient in letting us keep our stuff inside while waiting for the tow truck, and they even tried to help us solve the issue. We will definitely be making this a regular stop on our trips down!

Love stopping here for a wine tasting and to buy many bottles of delicious wine. The wine tasting room is small, quaint, and friendly. They have souvenirs available for purchase . The wines available range from dry, semi-sweet, and a few dessert wines. Our favorites are the razz n razz , peach paradise, apple smooch, sweet inspiration , and mystic .

Was a bit busy, gal never looked up. So we waited. Decide to do a tasting and I felt like she was distracted and wanted us to hurry up. Wine is good, even though it is California grapes. It's a young winery.

Great free little tasting room. It’s a little hidden off the road.

Small, tucked away tasting room with little to no seating, but the service was quick and pleasant, the tasting was free, the wines were delicious (fruit wines are much lighter than many places, and were extremely refreshing when chilled!), and we got a very reasonably priced glass of wine to go as we strolled to the next shops.

I have visited here once a year since 2019. (Skipped 2020, of course.) The White Lie is my favorite, but I even like their sweet wines and I don't usually like sweet wines. The tasting room is tiny, but the employees are great and the souvenirs are cute.

Cute little quaint place. Really enjoyed the man working there. Very knowledgeable. Tasted two wines and bought them both. Staff suggested both wines. Loved the wine. Another wine tasting store wouldn't give samples unless you bought. And they were rude. I
loved this place

I always struggle with the restaurant that tells me they can’t allow dogs in because of the health department when the health department does not actually prevent this. If you have your pet with you, you can always go to one of the other wineries around the corner.
Great little gallery to buy wonderful gifts for yourself and others! It is a cooperative so there are 22+ unique artists who work together to show their lovingly crafted art. Many different mediums ranging from glass to wood to paint to recycled metal! Treat yourself and visit this hidden but easy to visit gem!

The Ramp Creek Covered Bridge is a unique and historic structure built in 1838, featuring a rare double-tunneled design. The bridge provides access to the state park, but has strict size limitations with an 8'10" height clearance and a weight limit of 3 tons. Campers and trucks are directed to use the west entrance on 46 west of Nashville to avoid damage to both their vehicles and the bridge itself.
I did not visit the state park. This was simply a visit to check out this pretty darned cool two-lane covered bridge that is at one entrance to the park. You don't have to enter the park to view the bridge.
It was built in Putnam County in 1838 and was moved 130 miles to here Brown County in 1932. It would otherwise have been demolished to make way for a more modern bridge. This bridge is the oldest covered bridge still standing in Indiana and the only two lane covered bridge.
The bridge span is 110 feet and no, it did not have clearance for my Sprinter van. If you're planning on visiting the park in an RV, you need to use the other entrance to the west.

Lots of traffic the day we were there. Very interesting truss system to support the two way traffic. Nice setting in the state park.

History is a thing with me, especially Indiana history. This covered bridge is unique, it is ( I believe) the only "double-barrel" bridge in the country.
Kevin Jasper — Google review
It is a beautiful bridge but it has a height limit of 8' 10" and a weight limit of 3 ton. Campers and trucks cannot come in this way and must use the west entrance on 46 west of Nashville. You risk damage to your camper and the bridge and will not pass through the gate that follows.

Cool double bridge entrance to a state park.
D — Google review
At almost 200 years old it is the oldest covered bridge in Indiana and 1 of 4 remaining double bridges in the country.
Astounding it still handles auto traffic and has not been relegated to only pedestrian use.
3 ton (6000lb) limit means 3/4 ton and larger pickups are prohibited although I see a few still go through out of ignorance and/or disrespect.
Cheryl was the best winetender we could have had!! We were in Brown County for a relaxing bachelorette party weekend and this winery was the perfect touch! They were open later than every other shop on the weekend. There was live music & the wine tasting was priced so well for the amount we got! Big shoutout for Cheryl though! OUTSTANDING!!! She made our trip! :)

Everytime we visit Nashville, we ALWAYS head straight to Heritage winery. Every time we’ve been, we’ve had an amazing experience. The staff behind the bar rail are always so knowledgeable, kind, & personable.
The comfortable conversations they have with you is what makes you want to come back! We always stop in for a tasting or wine flight. They have SO many different wine options, and it’s always a home run!

This time every year we come to Nashville IN for a girls trip. We always visit Country Heritage because we love the wine and atmosphere. This year we booked the igloo which was super cute, quaint, and perfect for our gathering. To say we had the best host-John- is an understatement! From the start of tasting, to insuring our glasses stayed full, to conversation with John, we had one of the best memorable experiences ever!

We rented the igloo for the first time and had a great experience all the way around. We had a dedicated server named John that went above and beyond our expectations to make sure we had a great experience. Enjoyed a nice fall day in Nashville with a wine tasting at Country Heritage. John was a wonderful server who engaged with us during the entire experience. He offered suggestions and described the wines as he served them. Took home a bottle of one of our favorites, Vintner's Cuvee.♥️🍷

Had the 7 wine tasting for $5. Great way to try a bunch of different wines before buying. We had the Jolly Juice, a holiday wine that's sweet and tastes like cran-grape juice. Sweet with a bit of tart and easy drinking for anytime. The Norton 2017 has grapes grown in Fort Wayne Indiana. Its a nice dry wine kinda spicy. I could see this with a nice juicy steak. Over all really nice wines.
