Davis Square, located in Somerville, attracts a youthful demographic with its diverse selection of eateries and entertainment options. A popular spot for Tufts University students, Davis Square offers a range of dining experiences from casual Irish pubs to trendy cocktail bars. The iconic Somerville Theatre showcases independent films and houses the Museum of Bad Art in its basement. The nightlife scene is lively with live music and comedy clubs available for entertainment.
The Somerville Theatre is a delightful and historic cinema that showcases independent films, concerts, and special events. It boasts a cozy and charming atmosphere that appeals to nostalgia-seekers. The theater prides itself on its commitment to quality programming, with an impressive selection of both new and classic movies. In addition, the theater offers an excellent range of concessions, including beer and wine.
Beautiful theater (pro tip: find out what is showing in the main theater). Very clean and well maintained. It shows they care about movies and have many special showings. Great selection of concessions (classics plus beer and wine). The Somerville theatre is good for a movie/night of nostalgia.

I remember going to this movie theater as a little girl . I sat up in the balcony and saw pippi longstockings in the '70s it was one of my best childhood memories the movie theater has not changed much! I thoroughly enjoyed the movie we saw!

Great venue and experience. It is a small place inside, so be wary when the house is full, but the snack bar and options are plentiful.
The floor is sticky, so be prepared to have a bit of a tough time while getting to your seats.

Fantastic new venue! Above the movie theater. Nicely appointed with long bar at back with some quiet seating, then the main floor with some tables around the sides and lotsa standing room, then a step down towards the front for a dance floor in front of stage. Saw the Hot 8 Brass Band and they were awesome!!

The environment is very nice, the style is kept from the original architecture so it has history I personally enjoyed that. Enjoyed an interesting film with pop corn and added some kettle corn flavor. They have a self serve water station- so cute.

My favorite theater to go to, the charm, the prices, and the quality of both new and old movies they put out in amazing. I love their mini pop up series of older movies that you cant watch in theaters anymore. Only place around you get to do that for so cheap. Love it.

Wonderful small venue in a classic new england small town theater. Intimate and small enough that even the back rows are close enough to feel like you are in the front row.
Justin Bell — Google review
This is a beautiful theater but they desperately need to renovate the balcony to incorporate a design to account for stage visibility. Currently, if you have anyone even vaguely tall in front of you, you will miss anything that happens in the front half of the stage. You can see from my video what the view was like, and we were the front row of an ELEVATED area. Multiple theater goers complained about this as well so I know I’m not alone with this issue.

Cool theatre for small, independent films. Watched a movie there for the first time tonight, How to Rob, and it was great!! They depend on volunteers to make events happen so do support your local artists and businesses!

Lovely theater. It's not very large but the atmosphere was pleasant. Hated that there was no parking for the event nearby but that's just the area I suppose.

Lovely old theatre. Seats are very narrow. Small stage. Parking is difficult. Small municipal lot near by, T station next door.

Great local, independent cinema located at Davis Square. My preferred choice to watch 70mm screenings of movies ( I have watched 3 of them so far here : Dunkirk, Oppenheimer and 2001: A Space Odyssey). Tickets are relatively cheap as well. It is also conveniently located near a parking lot right down the street which is pretty cheap. Street parking is also available. Walking distance from plenty of restaurants and bars for pre or post movie food/drink options.

I went to see Oppenheimer in 70mm in the main theater room in mid-August 2023.
PRO:
- The theater had a beautiful vintage design, which was a refreshing change from the flat and conservative design of most chain theaters.
- The staff was friendly.
- The temperature and seating in the main room were good.
IMPROVEMENTS:
- There was no water fountain, though I expect this was an intentional choice to drive concession sales.

Well! If you are look for opera and old school like of theatre this is the place to go. Low old school seating, magnificent screen. All I could image was history that were created here. We came to watch Oppenheimer in their 70mm theatre. Seating is first come. Got ample of seats to choose from. Would recommend one visit to this theatre for the experience. Snacks & drinks are available.

I love the Somerville theatre! Really great programming and always a fun time at the movies. My only gripe is they sometimes have live events and if you're just there to see a film some of the sound bleeds through. Only an occasional issue though!

It was an experience for lifetime to watch Oppenheimer on a 109 year old theater in 70 mm screen. Beautiful management, clean and convenient. Also affordable tickets for all.

The theater is nice, but EVERY time I go there, the older, bearded guy at the counter is rude AF before I've even had a chance to open my mouth. He doesn't belong in a customer facing role, and he probably needs some anger management. Way to spoil a good time, buddy.
Jared Domínguez — Google review
The show we saw was first come first serve in regards to seating. Totally fine, except the seats in the back half of the balcony section had terrible visibility to the stage. Not to mention the seats were SNUG and very uncomfortable.
I get that this is a historic building and theater, but I think some updating to the seating situation to provide more comfort and visibility to all patrons is warranted.
A brewery that has been around in Boston for quite some time, Aeronaut Brewing Company is known for its authentic beer taste and brewing methods. It features a large taproom with two sections, one adjacent to Carolicious and Somerville Chocolate, which makes it a popular spot for foodie visitors. The brewery also has an outdoor patio area that's great during warmer months.
Solid brewery with an awesome staff. I might be bias because I know a few of these hard workers, but the environment and the brew they create are awesome! Boston, let alone New England, is lucky to have them around.
My go to is their Robot Crush, but I loves me their rotating taps!!

Enjoyed the vibes and local beer I heard was good. They have this cool machine to make your own non alcoholic beverage. And the live music was nice as well with food spots to eat from if hungry. Took us forever to locate this spot but eventually we made it.

Simply the best. Zero Meridian is a favorite, but honestly I like the large majority of what ends up on tap. Incredibly welcoming team, great atmosphere, and fabulous food options available. I am so thankful to have them in the neighborhood!

Went there on a friday, and when I got there it was nice and quiet. They open at 5 so at around 6:30 the place was much fuller and the venezuelan food area was also full. The beer was great, and the fact they have food right there is amazing. The food was spectacular, I cannot say enough good things about it. The overall experience was great, the volume of the music was great also. It allows you to have an actual engaged conversation with the person you go with. Overall 10/10 experience.

Great place! We came when there was a live jazz show that was really good. There is a wide range of tasty beers, and the food is delicious. There's a really cool vibe. Also, it's a huge place with different events on each side of the brewery. Will definitely come back!

Nice spot to go with friends. It’s a large space that has pop up like restaurants as well. The ceilings are high. The beer is good. There is an odd Bevi machine. The tasting flights are preset and don’t allow for substitutions. It feels kind of darkly lit.

They are right next to a venezuelan place if you want food that you can order with your beer.

10/10 beer and 10/10 covid safety! this place had great outdoor seating which was six feet apart as you can see in the photos and had great covid precautions from the waiters, waitresses, and all of the staff. Everyone was wearing masks and I felt very safe. There are walk-up tables available as seen in the 2nd photo however there are only three and they do not have heaters so I would recommend making a reservation if you can.
Bantam Cider Company is a craft cider producer situated in an industrial-style taproom, which offers drafts, flights, and growlers. The brewery features high ceilings and open spaces with hardwood standing height tables creating a unique atmosphere. Patrons can enjoy over half a dozen ciders on tap with single pours starting at $6.50 or flights of 5 tastes for $12.
We received a private "flight" tasting (5 half glasses of ciders of our choosing for $12) as we showed up close to closing time on a Sunday. Thank you Seamus for the cider experience! Place has a home-y vibe with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended. Get the Buzzwhig! Personal favorite.

Bantam is tucked into a warehouse on a back road behind a Target. Once you step inside though, you're greeted by the brewery classic high ceilings and open space with hard wood standing height tables. The bar has over half a dozen ciders on tap, and you can get single pours for $6.50 or flights of 5 tastes for $12. They give you the flights one sample at a time, so you have a second to try each one before getting the next.
Due mostly to its location, it's not a crowded spot. There's plenty of space and a really good atmosphere. Bantam appears to be one of Somerville's better-kept secrets.

Great atmosphere, the ciders were amazing and the variety of flavors is great! Super chill place, good music and has a homely vibe. Prices are super convenient and if you order a flight, you can try up to 5 different kinds of cider! I loved the americain and soul power 😍, the Turkish has an interesting flavor as well! Super recommended for a nice evening with your friends!

Spectacular, just spectacular. Our group of 10 was welcomed immediately and we had the best bartender Alyssa. Her and Mr. Beard were awesome in explaining all the ciders and how they are made. All the while never keeping our glasses empty.
The ciders are all very different and excellent in their own ways depending on what you like. Our group is still talking about this place as one of the highlights of our trip

This place is awesome. Their cider is out of the world, they have a bunch of different types and they're all great. They have some really unique flavors and you wouldn't ever guess a cider could taste like they do (I mean that in the best of ways) - they get incredible flavors. Even people who don't typically like ciders will for sure find a few they will like. I'd also recommend visiting their taproom for a flight, they have a cool spot and set up.
Jonathan Malmut — Google review
Terrific cidery! I’ve been here twice, and both times it was delightful. I did a tasting both times with different offerings that they had that seemed to be VERY local (read: you couldn’t get it anywhere but their taproom!) and have always been so impressed by the quality of their cider.
The service here is also pretty great! The bartenders are definitely experts in cider and know exactly what to suggest if you describe the flavors that you like. They’re quick with service, but not pushy which I appreciated.
Tips: There are no chairs really, so be prepared to stand. Also, you can bring your own food in but it’s more of a snack place - definitely not the place I’d order a pizza to.
Jenna Malley — Google review
I first heard of their ciders a little over 6 months ago and I was immediately hooked on their flagship cider Wunderkind. I never had a cider like that in my life before and I felt like I was definitely missing out! Then I found out that they were opening a tasting room less than 10 minute walk from where I live shortly after.
Fast forward it to a few months after my first encounter of their ciders, I now have been to their location more than a few times and I enjoy their tasting room for the selection and how personable the place is. Also their staff is very friendly and helpful in explaining what the each cider is like. Another thing that I can not forget to mention is that the ladies who own the place are just so awesome, they are willing to take their time to make sure that everyone that is visiting their tasting room is taken care of at all times. They are very friendly as well.
For a limited time, if you get a flight of ciders, you also get to keep your awesome glass (which you can bring back to use at later times to get discounted price on full pours).
All in all, Bantam Cider is just pure awesomeness. I love this place so much!

A+ service. Good ciders, although Wunderkind is definitely the best. Fun vibe
Edit: there is exactly one toilet, so be ready to hold it in line...
Mystic River State Reservation is a natural area situated on the waterfront that offers various recreational activities such as biking, hiking, swimming, boating and sailing. It stretches over seven miles in length and provides an excellent route for those who love paddleboarding or SUP fishing. The river is home to different types of fish like Bluefish and bass. Additionally, it's a great spot for dog walking with its connected paths leading up to Wegmans and Assembly Row on the opposite side.
This place is my safe place whenever I need some refuge. I love the smell from all of the Flora this watershed has to offer.
Shout out to David and Megan for adding to the mural and keeping its legacy alive and to all the other artists that call Somerville, home, I love you! 💜

A perfect spot to catch the sunset. It's easily accessible, no tall buildings nearby to block the view. Get to a clearing and you'll be rewarded with spectacular views. There's even a watch tower but definitely not necessary. There are a lot of mosquitoes in the summer but it's great right now in April.

We saw two hawks up close, and one had his lunch that it had just caught. That was a cool moment.

I love coming here. It’s a great place for a walk, for a run or even to bike. There’s a rowing team that lets you learn how row in the river. Usually every time I am there, there’s plenty parking available. Just remember that the park closes at dusk, before that, it’s a great place a workout or just some time alone near the water (don’t swim though).

Clip Art IPA with Mosaic and Cashmere felt like an IPA with a warm hug - texturely rich and warm as opposed to bright citrus, and slightly "spicy". The back alley was lively, if you can't find a seat indoors but don't mind standing around in nice weather then it's a great choice.

One of the best breweries in Boston with the coolest vibe. The beers are super fresh and they have such a great variety between IPAs, lagers, porters & sours. Super friendly bartenders and a beautiful, spacious patio which is perfect for the warmer months. Plus they have great coffee!

A small joint that is close to places that serves food and has a diverse selection of beers on tap. I’ve been here 3-4 times now and it’s been wonderful just about every single time. I think as far as high quality beer in a chill setting that also sometimes has live music outside you can’t really go wrong here.
If they filled growlers it would be 5 stars for me. I’ll probably be back

Remnant has turned into a daycare center, children screaming every 30 seconds while paying adults are trying to enjoy their beers. Beer is good but can’t be enjoyed with children running around and screaming in your ear. Witnessed several paying customers have to stand while children that did not buy anything took up chairs.

The beer is always fresh and creative with a rotating collection of IPAs, pale ales, dark beers, and occasional sours for all sorts of palates. Given that it's in Bow Market, it's great that you can buy food from any of the spots and bring it into the brewery to make the meal of your choosing. Plus, that patio out by the second bar is killer when the weather is right.

They opened in May of 2018. I was the first person to seat on one of the bar stools. they have a delicious beer and very friendly staff. There is outside sitting which is just wonderful considering the fact that it is hidden away spot on Bow Street. Beautiful brand new Brewery. Must come visit in the Somerville area.

We've been patrons of Remnant since shortly after they (and Bow Market) opened in 2018. Over that time, they've consistently offered a great rotating selection of tasty beers brewed in house, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere both indoors and on the back patio. They also offer good espresso and various other nonalcoholic beverages (like kombucha and teas). For food, there are plenty of options around Bow to order and carry in.

Great brewery with a fairly small selection on tap, but always a well curated one. The space at Bow Market isn’t huge but there’s usually a spot open. The bartenders are very friendly and kind. They don’t serve food but you can order food from any place literally steps away and eat it there. The trivia on Monday nights is really fun and well thought out!
Union Square Donuts is a popular bakery that specializes in donuts and coffee. The cafe has received four stars out of 116 reviews on Yelp, making it a popular choice for those looking for a sweet and savory treat. Customers recommend the maple bacon donuts, which are a Boston staple.
we order donuts here at least once a month. it’s become a family ritual or tradition especially on the weekends. it’s nice because they have vegan options and the donuts are really yummy. it’s tricky to find yummy vegan donuts and they make it feel easy. especially when they have so many flavors and they’re always coming out with new ones. they also have coffee and different beverage options. i went inside for the first time and it’s super cute , clean and spacious. there’s a bathroom . they also have high chairs for the babies. which is super convenient. the employees are really kind. they’re pretty good at holding your order until the end of the day. you can also order delivery online and it won’t break the bank.

This is coming from someone who’s NOT really a donut person. I’m a donut convert with U Square in the picture.
Stopped by one day to try a vegan blackberry donut at their flagship location and was blown away. Not too sweet (big one for me), clearly made with real fruit, delicious pillowy dough. Fillings aren’t really my thing in donuts, so perhaps that’s what’s causing other reviewers to point out that the donuts are very sweet or perhaps the vegan donuts are less sweet. I’m planning to go back to try more flavors.
Anna Chase — Google review
In my opinion, they look better than they taste. The birthday cake donut tasted like a vegan version, which if you’re into is totally cool. But the chocolate frosting was too bitter and the donut itself tasted like if sourdough bread had a baby with a bagel.
The raspberry was redeeming but not enough to actually finish it. The flan was a sticky mess and tasted like sourdough with pudding inside. Maybe I’m just not used to the donuts up here, but for the price I felt whelmed. The hot chocolate tasted homemade, but watered down. All in all not worth the price for anything we tried. The staff was nice though.

Absolutely delicious gourmet donuts. I've never visited the location myself, but occasionally sales representatives will bring boxes into the office as bait. I'll bite every time!
These donuts are very large and sweet, so if you're not a fan of that, beware. I usually cut the donuts into halves before consuming. My favorite flavors were the Banana Bread Flavor and one that tasted like Blueberry jelly. Definitely visit!

Good- meaning better than average, but not great or the best I ever had (or even close). The raised donut was good ,but the ricotta filled donut tasted less fresh and definitely need more filling. If you have to go 4-5 bites in to taste any filling, it's lacking- especially if if it costs me over $ 9. For two donuts. You have to remember - the higher the cost, the higher the expectations you are setting and you need to deliver.

Bow Market is a local market with boutiques, cafes and art shops around a central courtyard. It is 100% vegetarian and all dishes can be made vegan. There are also a number of meatless comfort food options available. Delivery is available through a variety of platforms, and beer and wine are also available for purchase.

Bow Market is a cool little place to check out. There are local shops and local restaurants to order food from. It used to be an old school car storage building, and each shop/restaurant is inside an old garage, so the inside of these stores are very small. You can rent a small table for an hour or so and sit next to a gas fire pit. You order drinks via ToastTab through your phone which are then delivered to you, although it may take a long time. To order food you have to go to each restaurant and place the order. Overall it is cool to check out once, but other than that, it’s not worth it. With a little bit of reorganization and better management, it could be much better.

I can't believe it took me this long to make my way out to Bow Market. This is such a great place to do a food crawl. Even in the cold winter months, it was quite lively on a Saturday afternoon; I can only imagine how busy it gets during the summer.
There are a bunch of food/drink pop-ups, mixed with retail and arts/entertainment stores. All of them are quite small, but there is plenty of seating in the center. You can eat, chill, or people-watch.
There is metered parking, but it was all taken when I went, so I recommend going early to beat the crowd or expect to park further and walk.

Bow Market has transformed Union Square into my favorite metro Boston destination. The variety of indie shops and the food and drinks, concentrated in a small outdoor mall scattered with outdoor seating, offers a shopping experience free of the chain drudgery during the day and livens up into a nightlife destination later on. From their new year's eve party to the rotating pop up features, there is always something new for me to check out while revisiting old favorites that have stuck around.

Ok. This place is bananas. Tucked away at the end of a side street that feels like glorified alley, you'll find this little outdoor hipster oasis. Shops like a vinyl record store and a vintage pinball arcade that actually takes quarters sit next to modern food truck style takeouts and breweries that deliver right to your courtyard table.
It feels like Boston stole this place from California and hid it where no one would find it... Which is OK with me because theres that much of a better chance of scoring a table.

A smaller version of Quincy Market in Union Square, it’s pretty much a courtyard with two stories of food vendors for you to order food and drinks from. Parking is terrible and hard to find on the street, so come during lunchtime when it’s less crowded. Also, make reservations to get an umbrella table, which they charge $6 for but worth it bc of how small the courtyard is and everyone wants to sit there.
We ordered from the Blue Fin Raw Bar where they offer lobster roll as a slider (great for us women who don’t want to eat a whole sandwich) as well as a half dozen oysters which were so fresh and light. Ordered drinks from the wine shop right by the entrance and all in all had a wonderful time. Will definitely go back!

Reached here at One PM on a Wednesday. There was a sign that says the museum opens on Thursdays 2 to 7 PM and Fridays after 2 P.M. to 5PM. Wasteful journey

Terrific local museum with emphasis on Somerville history and its rich community of artists. Great shows and installations. Concert series from medieval to modern

The museum is so small.
There is nothing to actually see.
surya poondla — Google review
Small museum with well chosen exhibits that highlight the importance of Somerville and the people who have made an impact.
Went there for a visual/acoustic event. It was a very visually busy place. For someone with attention issues, I was incapable of keeping my eyes still- they would constantly rove around because there are so much to see.

Absolutely one of a kind. It is like nothing else I have ever seen. Simply stunning to walk into art that surrounds you and moves you while listening to classical music performed by Francesco Cipoletta.

This is a magnificent place. A true pleasure to see this great immersive art masterpiece. The artists are charming and delightful.

Hello, Everyone!
Unfortunately, the Museum is usually closed and works just for events sometimes. You can find the information and text to DM to Instagram and Facebook!
I'm so sorry, I cannot change the hours on google. I'll try, but I hope that this review finds you well.
Thank you!
Super clean, friendly staff. Love the location. I did not expect to take as many pictures as I did when I visited - Make sure to clear up your memory before you go. Getting creative with my pictures is super easy with the different room aesthetics and I can’t wait to see the new room ideas that the owners of this location will offer.

This place was so much fun and very accommodating. As you can see, there are a variety of rooms/backdrops (and I didn't even post all of them here)! You get to use a ring light and clicker to take the photos which is super helpful and makes for great quality pics. Plenty of hand sanitizer and Lysol wipes around to help with germs.

No one should book a ticket to go at this place because it is not in service anymore and the website should be taken down from on google. My friend and I book our tickets to go at this place this past Saturday not knowing it been out of service for the past months now and we were scam of our money. The number on the site is not even working too and we couldn’t get hold of anyone to get our money back. So pathetic

Gave it as a bday present to my niece and she took like over 1,000 pictures all very different and awesome. Coming from an 18 year old she agrees it's so much fun and trendy.

Came here and had an AMAZING time for my friend’s birthday. The staff here are so accommodating and super professional. Krystal and Mery in particular were really sweet and really made our experience the best. Will definitely be back!

I attended the UHustle event that occurred 10/28/21 at Selfie WRLD, as a vendor for Divine Beauty, a holistic, plant-based, handcrafted beauty care company (IG @divine._beauty._) and as an attendee of the launch party. Where I was pleased how organized, clean, and lively throughout the WHOLE area and duration of the event.
Also everything I needed as a vendor was provided to be by the amazing and super friendly staff that assisted me and made sure everything I was running smoothly for me, which I really appreciated and made it so much easier for me to work.
As a guest of the event, I was in awe of the countless curated backdrops for everyone you can think of. Each step took you into a whole new world, where AGAIN Selfie WRLD held it down! As a fellow creative the selfie selfie lights, props, and amazing color combinations of the background made my picture present themselves as if I had a paid for multiple professional shoots. Which got me very excited to use as content on Instagram (@itslexi_11).
I will be going back to Selfie WRLD soon, for a music video that I will be starting in and I am so excited to bring more of my creative juices to the sets! All I can say and end of with is, really just the beginning for this fine, fine establishment.
Boston is happy to welcome you with open arms, because we needed a place like this foreal, so thank y'all and keep up the superb work!

Definitely would recommend this place. Lot of options, very clean. I went there before and had a great experience and brought my friends there 3 weeks after. Christian was a big help and really made the experience even better for us. Thank you 😊. Definitely coming back and bring more people.

This was a fun experience for all ages (our group age rate was 10 months - 40 years). Everyone had a blast being silly and creative. Many different rooms to take selfie in. The 2 Youngest kids definitely enjoys the ball pit, actually I think we all did.
Great family fun or date night fun to help you open up to other people.
There is hand sanitizer everywhere!

Went there last Saturday and it was so much fun. Staff was polite and helpful. Can't wait to go back with more people.
I attended a community event here (story telling, held every Tuesday night). Seemed like a nice building. The people I met were very welcoming. It's easy to miss from the street--to me it looked identical to a house.
There is street parking available (and generally empty) in front.

Great place to go Shabbat, and especially the Holidays. A lot of spirit, singing, etc. A truly egalitarian prayerbook, both English and Hebrew! Very friendly.
The Night Shift Owl's Nest Esplanade is a perfect place to relax and enjoy a few beers this summer. The beer garden is located on the Harborside Lawn and has a nice, inviting atmosphere. It can get crowded in a second, so be prepared to move around if you don't have a reservation - but it's definitely worth it! Staff is attentive and helpful, making this an excellent spot for friends to catch up or just take in the sights and sounds of Jersey City.
What a great idea..beer garden by the river promoting local beers and seltzers. Fun and lively place.

Awesome outdoor beer garden with solid beer and even better views. Come here around sunset time and enjoy the view. There are porter potties and outside tables. No cover from rain. They do have shade from the trees later in the day.

Pshhh this spot IS AWESOME! Right by the water, serving killer craft beers from local brewery Night Shift. You can spend hours and hours here…and you might even unexpectedly because the line can get VERY long. But on a beautiful day it’s totally worth to hang out with friends.

Came here for a work event my wife's company was having. The food was great and the view and tables are great. The downside for me is that there is no parking nearby so unless you live here, I can't recommend to someone to come try it. If in in the area, I'll stop by, otherwise not coming here just for this.
Update:
I was told of a good parking location that is only a ten minute walk. At the roundabout there is a mgh eye and ear parking. It's at the roundabout as you are going towards 93 South I think. You enter in that roundabout and then can walk to the location. Still doesn't change how I feel about visiting a location without parking but it helps to know I can park there.

Great beer, all the servers are very nice, and I love the location! My only issue is that I wish they put up a canopy or something so patrons can have some more shade when it gets really sunny out.
Elliott Bluestein — Google review
Food was too limited.
Service was friendly.
The atmosphere was okay. It needs some ambient music. The lights were not working. Maybe adding some games would make it more interesting.
Overall, it is a great place to visit with some friends and chitchat.

Had the fantastic experience of spending 4th of July (2019) here, the ambiance is impressive when you are seeing the sun going down, a beautiful explosion of colors. The show was also amazing, a great combination of the show and the fireworks next to the water! Because of the date, you can expect to see a lot of people, like a lot, but I highly recommend it!

Can’t beat beers along the esplanade during a gorgeous Boston summer. Seem to be less lines than the first summer unless that’s my timing. Food trucks always seem popular.

Owls nest is open!!!! So excited to not have to cross the river.... Love night shift and their beers. Obviously their beer hall is great but the closet location, river views, and music is great! Looking forward to more visits in the future!

Great beers and a nice atmosphere for a Friday night! It can get crowded in a second so stay on the lookout for people leaving their tables if you don’t have a reservation.
Charles “Chuck” Carletta — Google review
Simple location beside the Charles River, umbrellas give shadow, the beer is tasty the most fruity IPA ( they recommended) is ”fluffy” (the name 😉) and yes, it is 👍🏻. To enter the space you have to show your ID to show you are 16 - hi guys I’m 63 🤪
Michael Hubert — Google review
This was a fun beer garden! The views are nice, and they had someone to provide food. They allow patrons to bring in their own food! But their beer selection is pretty slim. It was basically all IPA's when I went, so I was a bit disappointed.
Nice area for walking your dogs, jogging and outdoor activities!

Pros: extremely quiet and not well-trafficked by anyone except anglers, great to sit and watch the shorebirds. Especially the cormorants.
Cons: barely developed as an actual park; functionally just a soccer field adjacent to Assembly, the parking lot functions as overflow for the mall and yacht club nearby.

Lovely little park for a lunch break or even better for night photography. Lots of colorful reflections that will keep you occupied for a couple hours.
Jürgen Lobert — Google review
Nothing really here just a walking path and some grass that isn't cared for and an empty soccer net. This place has great potential though with the river by it maybe with some tennis courts or basketball courts and some signage in Assembly.
Ignacio Cetrangolo — Google review
It's really not a park it's an soccer field where the grass hasn't been cut the only good thing about you there's a dog that you can go fishing on
