Certainly, begin your exploration at the elevator's base. Ascend to the summit to take in the breathtaking views and read the informative historical plaques. Proceed to the left, navigating around a bend, and descend the cascading waterfall or stairs leading to the elevator's base. This delightful excursion is highly recommended if you find yourself in the downtown Oregon City area following a delectable meal. Embark on an adventure of discovery!

I went here because one of my kids is obsessed with elevators and both my kids enjoyed going up and down a couple of times . I can't say the view was incredible, the river is surrounded by horrible old factories . My understanding is that half of them will be demolished and they will hopefully build something more appealing. The very nice employee of the elevator recommended a little walk that gave us a better view of the river .

This is an old landmark of Oregon City. The lookout has been there far longer than the elevator. There are lenticular photographs depicting what was and how the local landscape has changed...some for the worse...such as waterfalls destroyed by manufacturing. They run along the breadth of the half circle, concrete wall. The view is beautiful at some angles. You can see the small bridge, built in 1922, from overhead. There are some concerning cracks and signs shoring up is soon needed in the floor but it appears stable for now. It is interesting to read how the elevator was originally steam powered and took over three minutes to ascend. There are also 722 steps you can take instead. I did the first time I saw this lookout. A smooth, wheelchair friendly, downward sloped ramp feeds pedestrians under the train tracks and into the face of the elevator. There is no cost to enter and sometimes there are people on hand for questions or to explain facts, such as dotted outlines depict what once was and no longer is, as well as telling you about the lady of the mansion who fought the elevator as it was built in front of her palatial abode.

Great historic place to visit. Excellent views and a nice walkway with benches along the way. The staff working at the top was very nice and helped answer questions.

Kind of cool they don't charge. Some old 3D like photos at the bottom and top that are historical. Take a walk along the promande to Williamette Falls overlook.

The Oregon Municipal Elevator is a breathtaking marvel that not only transports visitors between the upper and lower parts of Oregon City but also provides an awe-inspiring panorama of the surrounding natural beauty. As you step into the vintage elevator car and ascend, you're treated to a mesmerizing visual feast that unfolds before your eyes.
From the elevator's observation deck, one can marvel at the picturesque views of the Willamette River as it gracefully meanders through the heart of Oregon City. The sight of the tranquil waters reflecting the vibrant hues of the sky creates a sense of serenity and harmony with nature. The gentle sound of the waterfall adds a soothing soundtrack to the experience, further enhancing the overall ambiance.
The vantage point from the elevator allows visitors to appreciate the grandeur of the Willamette Falls, one of the largest waterfalls in the United States. The cascading water creates an impressive display of raw power and beauty, leaving spectators in awe of its magnitude. It's a reminder of the incredible forces of nature and the wonders that exist in our world.
The Oregon Municipal Elevator not only serves as a means of transportation but also offers a unique and immersive experience that combines history, engineering, and natural splendor. Whether you're a local or a visitor, the elevator provides a captivating glimpse into the charm and allure of Oregon City, leaving an indelible impression on all who embark on this enchanting journey.

What an interesting landmark with very cool views of old town OC, the industrial area and the falls. We were meeting my SIL for brunch and she told us about the Municipal Elevator so we made a point of parking up on the hill so we could take it down. On the way back up we stopped and learned a bit of its history by Beverly, one of the lovely volunteers who work the desk at the top. Beverly even told me that as a child she accompanied her father to the dedication ceremony when the current tower opened in 1954! Thank you to Beverly and other volunteers who help to keep Oregon history alive. I’ve lived in Portland for more then 32 years and never knew about this area and now I want to go back and explore more!!

Decided to check this place out after dinner with my family. It is not kept very clean and the elevator gives you the vibes that make you want to carry your child and not let them touch anything. Still very very cool once you get to the top. It was a more impressive view than I thought it would be, very cool at night and recommend checking it out as long as you are not afraid of some dirt and germs.

Interesting elevator. Better to go to
Watch the sunset and watch bats fly around. It’s actually pretty clean. The view isn’t spectacular but interesting enough. It is unique and the walk from it is nice. If you are in the Oregon city area this is a nice walk with the river view! Check it out!

It’s a one stop elevator that offers views over Oregon City from the viewing deck. There is a little tourist information desk at the top also selling some nick knacks, guy tending it was very helpful and informative. We parked close by for free and used it going down and back up again.
The End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center is a historical museum that offers interactive exhibits and costumed guides, showcasing life in the mid-1800s. It provides visitors with interesting information about the pioneers who traveled on the Oregon Trail. A great adventure for 4th graders studying this subject in school, it's also a fun activity to do with family on a sunny day.
My kids said this was their favorite place we’ve visited on our road trip! They absolutely loved the hands on exhibits- their favorite was the HUGE wall of dress up items (freshly laundered every day I was told) and playing school. There was even chalk and slates. Lots of history, signs, a good documentary to watch and a gift shop. Highly recommend

Nice to walk around and read the signs. Fun little activity to do on a sunny day with the family. The signs have cool information and shows lots of facts/people involved in Oregon Trail. Really awesome adventure to take 4th grader as the study the Oregon Trail in school. Sad that the center was closed. Would love to come back when it is open.

We visited this site spontaneously, as we drove by it, and it was great! We spent some time taking photos and looking in the gift shop. There are interactive elements in their museum, a few videos and other sites with the locations of the historic Oregon Trail to see too. We didn't purchase for the experience, but it looked cool and you can purchase tickets on-site. Bought a few things from the gift shop and we were on our way from there.
Also there are events that happen here for all ages to participate in to have a fun time.

This museum & interpretive center stands at the end of this amazing 2000 mile long historic Oregon trail, which started all the way from Missouri and ended in Oregon City.
The visit through the center itself could take a few hours through the three sections, each depicting a wagon from the outside. But it’s worth taking a short stroll along the outside. Coming out of the visitor center & gift shop, take right turns all the way around and keep continuing along towards the garden and main street side and you’ll get to the historic marker, designated end of the Oregon Trail, which is marked by two monuments. There are several flowers and herbs grown in the garden which are varieties the pioneers brought with them across the Oregon Trail.
There is plenty of parking and there was no lines for entry to the museum. There was a private event going on in the garden side while we visited. Apparently there are outdoor concerts and events happening here especially during the Summer months.

My mom and I visited here since we both enjoy history. It was fun for both of us. The museum has a couple of easy hands on crafts making a candle, doll and journal. These crafts along with the short movie put a more personal experience on the whole thing.

I had been here as a child 23 years ago. I had fun memory of the place. When i visited this time i was less than satisfied. I enjoyed the hands on, self guided tour. There were many informative pieces and a cute 30 minute video. I givethis a 2 star review because we felt cheated and walked away from this experience incredibly frustrated. We paid for the inside, self guided tour, and the outside tour. The outside tour is a waste of money. First, we went to the meeting place for the tour to begin and NO ONE came out to let us know they decided not to do it. After 15 minutes i went inside to find out what was going on. The young woman i talked to was unprofessional and sarcastic with me. We came back to take the tour at the 3rd time block as we had already paid for this service and the woman who gave me attitude was our tour guide. She was unprofessional. I did not pay to hear her opinions or watch her sarcastic attempts at humor. It took 90 minutes and we could have done the walk in 20 minutes ourselves. Much of the "facts" she gave us was contradictory to the information we had read inside the museum. It is NOT worth the cost. If you are new to Oregon Trail history, do not waste your money on the guided tour.
Additionally, this exhibit did not feel like a crucial historic place. It felt like a poorly maintained city park/tourist trap. It is probably great abd better staffed for school field trips. But insanely overpriced and under maintained for a historic location.

I was just there with my kids on a field trip. The museum itself is great, with a lot of hands on activities available. However, myself and the other parents where disappointed in the tour. The guide was really nice, but did two lectures back to back. It was about an hour and a half long in total. They didn't even show us the movie. The kids did get to handle some furs, but it was far too much sitting for elementary students. We did get to make candles and butter, but nothing else. We asked if we could go through the rest of the exhibit that was skipped over, and where told we would have to pay AGAIN if we wanted to go back in! There were fifteen hands on activities that we didn't get to do, that we could have done if we had just gone not on a tour. They said they had a staffing issue, but it didn't make sense to not let us see the rest of the museum. We didn't get to look at anything else. There were plenty of chaperons, so we could have done the rest of the museum, regardless of staffing. Overall it was kind of a let down. It just felt like a money grab, especially because of course we could still go into the gift shop. I still recommended going, just not on a school tour.

Great fun, plenty of room to sit, shade or sun. Beer sold and allowed to drink on site. Food available, check for live music during certain dates, clean fun for all. Family friendly...
The Museum of the Oregon Territory is a compact local history museum that offers visitors vintage recreations, interactive exhibits, and stunning views of waterfalls. The displays at this museum are well-curated and tie in seamlessly with ever-changing themes. Despite its small size, the museum provides plenty of details about the history of Oregon City and Clackamas County, making it an excellent place to spend a few hours learning about the area.
Welcoming, helpful staff. Nice museum with interesting artifacts and photos. Plus, awesome views of the Falls.
Larry Moiola — Google review
This is a freemason establishment that is deceiving the public. The two obelisks in front of the building are symbols of freemasonry. The gals at the front desk were aware of this when I asked if they knew that the museum was a masonic establishment. As we continued to chat, one of the staff members even tried to tell me that humans evolved from fish, not monkeys... I replied back and said those are both lies. Charles Darwin was also a deceiving liar freemason. “That is why I am here today, to sort out the lies and notify the public.”
They have a few native artifacts on display with very little information about them. The story about the falls that is shown behind the petroglyph upstairs, is mockery towards the natives! The natives lived here for thousands of years before they were purposefully tormented and murdered. They were not incompetent dumb animals as these stories seem to suggest. The natives were highly intelligent and completely dependent on nature. The information shown at this museum does not tell the truth and does not show respect to those who were here before. It is a maze of deception with bits and pieces of the truth. I have been to every museum in the area and have had enough of the lies and freemason deception. Look up pictures of the Lewis and Clark exposition and old world fairs and other old world expositions. You will start to understand and look at things differently. Old world buildings are everywhere, Oregon city has plenty. The museums don’t show them openly though. Even the Oregon city elevator shows glimpses of old world buildings that are in the form of holographic pictures. A deceptive way of showing the old and new without being able to see the differences clearly. Hopefully this museum will redesign their space and showcase more of the people who lived on this land for thousands of years prior. Such as the Molalla Indians which were not mentioned at all in this museum. The past will not be forgotten especially the natives who lost their land, resources, family, culture, and lives.

Great displays that tie in well to the ever changing themes at this museum. Small enough to browse through quickly, enough detail to spend a couple of hours learning about the area around Oregon City and Clackamas County. Photos are part of the regular non-rotating exhibit. Old pharmacy items.

I walk this neighborhood often with my dog and life to go by the museum and the falls. I recently went by and saw a large group of Proud Boys attending some type of meeting. I was honestly SHOCKED that a local public museum would welcome a group that has such hateful and violent rhetoric towards our LGBTQ+ & BIPOC community. After the riots in Clackamette Park that resulted in a few of those members getting jail time for their violence, and then Oregon City Police not allowing them to reserve park space any longer I thought this city would be done welcoming violence.

The museum itself is awesome. Unfortunately they exclusively use a caterer in for the Tumwater Ballroom who is sympathetic to alt right causes. Last night they held an event using Proud Boys as security. The Tumwater Ballroom lied to concerned community members and neighbors about the event being canceled, it still went on. Giving your money to the Tumwater Ballroom supports bigotry.

Great museum. If you are interested in Oregon history and Oregon City history this is the place. Beautiful views and interesting exhibits.
Willamette Falls is a vast and curved cascade spanning 1500 feet in width and standing at a height of 40 feet. It is situated beside deserted paper factories, making for an impressive sight. Recently, the water levels have surged due to flooding, causing the waterfall's usual drop of around 30 to 40 feet to become obscured.
Kayaking to the falls at sunset was breathtaking. There is an old paper mill right next to it which is kinda creepy cool. Highly recommend kayaking as close as you can (the falls are so powerful you can’t get crazy close- but if you hover near the edge, you can get a pretty good view)

The Willamette Falls is a natural waterfall on the Willamette River between Oregon City and West Linn, Oregon, in the United States. It is the largest waterfall in the Northwestern United States by volume, and the seventeenth widest in the world.
The falls is a horseshoe shaped block waterfall caused by a basalt shelf in the river floor. The 40 ft (12 m) high and 1500 ft (457 m) wide falls occur 26 river miles (42 km) upstream from the Willamette's confluence with the Columbia River. Operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the lock was a four lock canal and was the oldest continuous operating, multiple lift navigation canal in the United States.
The public can view the falls from viewpoints on the bluffs of Oregon City, from a signed viewpoint along Highway 99E, from the Oregon City Bridge, from a viewpoint on northbound I-205, or from boats in the river.

Every person on the west coast should pay their thanks to this man. He was essentially the first person at Fort Vancouver to look south and envision what Oregon and California for that matter would become. He did all this as a British citizen, only becoming a citizen of the United States in 1851. 1 year before he died. I don't know what you think of the British, but I do know what you should think of this guy if you live anywhere on the west coast.

Interesting historical site in Oregon City, and annex to Fort Vancouver National Historical Site in Vancouver, Washington. The former home of John McLoughlin, Governor of much of the future United States northwest (and western Canada) for England's Hudson's Bay Company, the home is an interesting historical side trip. The docent on hand had a terrific knowledge of McLaughlin, the house, and Hudson's Bay Company history. It is only open for tours on Fridays and Saturdays, and only during the warmer months of the year. (They close the site for the winter, but you can still walk around the outside.) At the time of my visit, I was told they may be closing the house soon so that some restoration work can be carried out. They said the planned work, once started, will take several years to complete. I gave the site four stars because the structure is in desperate need of that renovation. But it was still worth the visit.

I was wowed standing in a historical house that my 5th great grandfather stood in asking John McLoughlin for advice before he signed the treaty of 1855. And the gift shop left me loving this pic of my 5th great grandma's brother chief Joseph. We truly need to value the history and historical places we have here. They truly are few. I left smiling and felt happy from this piece in our history here. By the way Ancestry DNA is awesome!😁😊 I also discovered that my 4th great grandparents were that indigenous chiefs daughter and a high ranking worker for the Hudson Bay company for John McLoughlin. 😀🙂So wow!

This place is a joke of a museum. There is practically nothing in the house that is original. They expect us to believe that just one horse pulled The McLoughlin house all the way up the hill to its current location….The ranger started to put the picture book away before showing me the last page. I said “hold up, I didn’t see that last page.” She showed me the page and I took the picture that is shown below.
This is a place to hear stories not the truth.

Wonderful Oregon history. John McLoughlin is considered to be the Father of Oregon. Oregon City was chartered in 1844, the oldest city in the United States west of the Missouri River. San Francisco's plat map was certified in Oregon City!!!
Generous samplings (eight), beautiful views, awesome surroundings withs ponds, and picturesque landscaping. Lots of places to sit. Only open Saturdays but worth it if so make a reservation. It's bar style so you need to come up to the bar to get your next pour which might be a problem if you are sitting far away like across the pond, but if that's an issue then just get a glass or bottle vice the samples. Oh and all of this for $15/person. What a deal!

This place is absolutely gorgeous but the wine tasting experience was not what I expected. We reserved a time slot for wine tasting at 3pm but did not realize you have to wait in a line to get each one. They also close at 4pm so we were rushing in order to get through the tasting before they closed. Once you find an open table you have to walk back to get wine, walk back to your table, then the tastings are so small you take a couple sips then have to walk back to get the next one. Sure you can buy a bottle of wine but I wanted to try them all before I chose one. I also didn't want to just go through the line, drink it, and get back in it. I wanted to sip it somewhere pretty. By the time we got through the tasting it was almost closing time so I didn't bother getting a bottle. The way the wine tasting is set up just doesn't make for a very relaxing experience. They should give you small flights to take to your table so you aren't running back and forth the entire time. That would have made the experience much more enjoyable. It was lovely exploring the grounds. I just wish it was more of a relaxing experience.

Beautiful winery with tasting room and outdoor grounds to walk. Small batch wines are produced here (less than 500 cases a year). Tastings are $10 and there are snacks and a pizza oven.

Stunning property and gardens. The wines are on the the sweeter side.
Nathan Hale — Google review
Be warned: Making a reservation online does not guarantee you a table. You arrive and they tell you to walk the grounds looking for a table. They do not serve you wine at your table; you have to get up after each tasting and go back to the front area to get the next wine. We felt this should've been made clear when you make a reservation.
They way overbooked themselves on a beautiful Saturday and we had to sit next to a couple of screaming bachelorette parties until we could finally find a better table (we moved three times). Good for large groups, but annoying for smaller ones who have to sit next to them.
The wine is perfectly fine but they tell you nothing about each one, and they pour you about two sips of each.
If you're looking for a gorgeous place to walk around and take photos, this place really is picturesque. (Birds, ponds, gazebos, cows.) But if you're looking for a relaxed wine tasting experience with knowledgeable servers, this is not it.

We had a great time wine tasting here. The scenery was beautiful, and the grounds were welcoming as you walked around finding a good spot to drink your wine. Their tasting room is an outdoor area with a few tables and plants all around, setting a Tuscany like scene. The owner and his family were friendly and perfectly handled the very busy day of people flooding in. We ordered a pizza, which was good and found a wine we liked, their Cabernet, but most of their wines are very sweet. Their bottles were also more affordable than most vineyards. I like this park... Ample parking spaces most of the time (I'm sure it can get busy at certain times, just that I've never experienced); Water access is an easy short distance walk from the parking lot; Space to sit is usually enough for multiple groups to recreate comfortably without being directly on top of each other (although this does depend on water levels and the people recreating both in number and behavior). Park is mostly clean (some random litter like plastic drink cups or cigarette butts are discarded inappropriately on the ground instead of taken with them when leaving, but not excessive and is gone when coming back the next afternoon)

The park itself felt a bit unremarkable, though I think it would be a great place for families during the summer. Love this market! Have my handful of favorites I always go to, like Sun Love farms, and enjoy the rotating booths as well. So many amazing humans and delicious produce!

A little bit of everything is here! Oregon Artisans are well-represented here as an abundance and variety of goods are in this small-ish market. Fresh berries and breads and flowers being the main offering there’s also meats and cheese and fish farmers, artists and craftsmen to round out about 40+ vendors. Musicians performing too.
It’s low key and a great location, plenty of parking.
Dawn Anderson — Google review
It’s such a great farmers market! The flowers are the best and the live music is fabulous. We buy produce and pastries on Saturday to get the weekend started. You can get your knives sharpened while you wander. It needs to be on your list of hints to do on Saturday’s between 9-2 May-October!! It’s located up by the Public Service Building for Clackamas County.

Fantastic local Saturday market. Baked goods, coffee, live music, flowers, berries, fish, meat, crafts, and wonderful veggies. I highly recommend Coyote Ridge Farm (beautiful certified naturally grown veggies), Campfire Farms (excellent meats), and Grano (bread loafs). Plenty of parking. Great variety of displays hosted by helpful and informative vendors. They were extremely patient with all of my questions. Very family friendly and I found everything was very reasonably priced. What more could you ask for? Oregon City Farmers Market rocks!

Oh my gosh so many good vendors! This spot has very unique vendors. I especially was excited to find Lions Mane mushroom being sold! This is a good one to visit in Clackamas County.
Use it every day, never fails me! Except when headed south! The "no left turn" signs were not clear and I got a ticket. I politely disagreed that it was not marked clearly, and he wasn't having it. I asked him to go have a look with me and he refused. I saw him cirlce back to sneek a peek. Low and behold, a month later there were 3 new signs posted.

The view on the bridge is quite nice and there are elevated shoulders for pedestrians on the bridge. If you bike or run into Oregon city from West Linn, this is the bridge that you will tale. Oregon City downtown is right at the end of the bridge which is very nice and also there is a municipal elevator that takes you up the steep hill.
Y? Wu — Google review
What's there to say bad about this bridge? Nothing. I heard it's narrow, but I don't drive. You're not really from here unless you walk the arch. I have and Oregon City belongs to me!
Temp Zero — Google review
This is a beautiful example of art-chitecture . One of many in Oregon City. A must see on the way to the visiting center and falls lookout. It's narrow so pull your mirrors in when crossing I've seen more than one get knocked off by another mirror sticking out. If you found this review to be helpful, please like it.. 👍👍👍👍👍

RIDING HIGH
In 1974 myself and two friends rode our motorcycles over the arches of The OC ARCH BRIDGE and back.
It was about 1:30 AM on a Sunday morning!
I Definitely would NOT do that again, but I am glad we did it back then!!!!!
Steven Brenner — Google review
Not safe for pedestrians, needs to be improved. The city won’t improve it because there’s no foot traffic, but when a bridge is this tiny and dangerous you have to expect foot traffic to be minimal.

Best advice is to walk across and bring your camera. Gateway to the last small town in the greater Portland area and if the falls project goes through soon to become the experience real estate as well. Go now while you can.

I mean it's a piece of history what's not to love about this narrow, 2 lane make you grip tightly on the oh sh*t handle but from a distance it's beautiful and I mean the public fishing dock is perfect during summer time for the salmon run and a great place to just chill and hangout. It connects West Linn (Willamette) and Oregon City together. What's not to love about our little Downtown area of OC?
Iam Free — Google review
Great views of the river and falls. Traffic is close and moving fast though. Check out the osprey nest, viewed to the north on the east side of the bridge.
Quaint lol stage. My neice was back stage support. We loved the production. This is a great facility and we'll maintained.

Adorable little theater inside Clackamas community college. Our church, Mountain View community church, currently meets here on Sunday mornings. Come join us!
Shay Bachelder — Google review
The young actors were professional, and all knew their lines quite well. And the costumes truly reflected the period of the play. The scenery sets were simple and effective, allowing for the considerable movement required for staging this play. Kudos shout out for the lead actors in their performance. The young performers who played George and Emily were excellent. The final scene of Emily witnessing memories of her young life was very moving, bringing tears to my eyes. As an older patron of Broadway Theater in NYC, and a season ticket holder in both Portland, OR, and Tempe, AZ for over 20 years it was a pleasure to witness young aspiring actors beginning to develop their craft. I hope that they chose to continue acting in local theater and perhaps someday under bigger lights.

So so good! Singing was beautiful and on point; acting itself was great. This is the result when you have a great director and dedicated behind the scenes folks. It was much better than I had expected. (Man of LA Mancha) The theater itself was very clean and seats comfortable. Really enjoyed myself and will definitely be back.

I saw the final performance of Man of La Mancha and was blown away by the entire performance. The acting and vocals brought tears to my eyes and left me feeling emotional. The staging and costuming was spot on.
I hope to see these performers in future productions.

Great new theater in upper/outer Oregon City. The music department plays it loud and solid. Art exhibit area includes full exhibit features and artist services for the pro and student alike. Catch a play during the school year, check out the only community college in the US with an observatory! and building space program...

I visited this beautiful park on a beautiful gorgeous sunny day. Parking was tight, only 4-5 spots. The trail is long with many surrounding nature, and there are outstanding city views from this park. I would love to visit it again

Lovely park with well maintained paths and some great views of the river. Plenty of shaded space, and a child's playground nearby. The pioneer cemetery touches the park edge but is private. Watch for signage to make sure you stay on path instead of entering onto maintenance roads or private property.

Awesome trails for a walk! Nice little playground and basketball court near the parking lot and plenty of maps so you don’t get lost on the trail! Great view of the river
Kai Richardson — Google review
This park was a pleasant surprise and I will come back. The trails are easy to hike and well maintained.
Parking is a little tricky if you have a car with low ground clearance because there is an edge between the pavement and the gravel. The parking area slopes up after the dip so you may scratch the bottom of your bumper on the street.
There are a lot of people there taking family photos so you may find it challenging going at times to get to a designated viewpoint without going off the trail to get a shot.
Arthur Daret — Google review
Great park... a nice hidden gem. I have only been this one time and maybe I went tonthe wrong area but I did not find any little lake or pond. We hiked the tile all the way to old cemetery too. Amazing wild flowers in bloom. Lots of little Amina for the kids to see. A bunny rabbit, lots of squirrels lots of Robin and other species of birds... the view is incredible. And then the play ground it great.

We absolutely love this place! Have been here many times and will continue! Great hikes for a few hours of fresh air. Play structure is always clean for the kids! One of our favorite places around the area.
Milissa Mcclane — Google review
No dogs allowed. There are not enough signs clarifying this. The trailhead starts at the playground, where there are about a dozen parking spots. There’s an ADA accessible bathroom that is well-serviced and clean. The trails themselves are well-marked and maintained, but you can walk the entire thing in <1 hour. The old slide trail is the only one that might be challenging for kiddos as it has quite a bit of elevation gain. Great views of the Willamette, including the falls!

Well my heart goes out to the dirt farmers! I will put my hard earned $$ in the small farmers pocket before the industrialized factory! The blackberries were ripe 2 weeks late this year but picked a beautiful 18lbs between the three of us! Good product!

One of the staff was very rude. Be prepared to bring your own container or he’ll just gonna make fun of you. Well, maybe did you ever think we were just in the area or maybe checking you out for the first time. Smmmh….what a first impression. If you don’t want us using your container then don’t offer. Oh wait you didn’t. We’re not stupid, we have other things we can put our pickings in.

Albeke farms has tons of awesome berries! You get to adventure out on their fields through the developing peaches and hear the bull frog in the pond while you pick blueberries! This is a real family farm, not some glitzy big advertising " farm" you see these days. The walk in the sun along the path makes you feel like you're really getting out of town- even though it's only 20min from Portland! Come for U- pick and pre- picked berries at Albeke farms in Oregon City- The farm dogs are super cool too.

Stood in line at farmers market to pay $30 for 6 baskets of berries. Our farmers market used to get the most beautiful
Oregon berries. These sucked. The blackberries were moldy, the blueberries were bitter and the strawberries were like the huge commercially grown, tasteless California strawberries. I question whether this farm even sells their own stuff just distributes other farms berries. Such a rip off and a fraud. You are better off buying Driscolls organic for even less than these non organic, moldy, tasteless berries. This farm should be ashamed.

I don't care for most spirits but we were on a triple date and decided to stop as there are always cars there and we were curious. What a fun experience!! Sandy was a wonderful host and so sweet with a wonderful smile. Right after we got there it got super busy, the tasting room was packed, and Sandy was alone as the other staff member apparently no-showed. She handled it with grace and never got flustered, even when all point of sale options crashed at the same time and she was unable to take payments for a moment. She kept calm and apologized and fixed the issue and kept going. We were all impressed. And the spirits were wonderful!! I loved the Pinot Gin and we bought the membership to do the mixology classes. Super fun date day!! Thank you!!

Hosted an engagement party / couples shower at the Distillery on a Saturday evening and it couldn’t have been better! Everyone loved the beautiful venue, tasty & innovative cocktails, and the personal, friendly service. Sara & Sandy were so kind & accommodating, and the attention to detail was fantastic! They printed signature cocktail cards with names we’d chosen which was a fun touch for the party!
They also offered local beer, wine & ciders for those who didn’t want mixed drinks (but who wouldn’t; they were SO good!!).
Definitely recommend Trail Distilling’s tasting room for any celebratory occasion! You and your guests will be happy you did.

We first heard of Trail Distilling when we received a gift of several of their spirits - the pink Pinot gin is amazing! Fast forward a couple years and we were invited to an engagement party hosted on site and it was such a treat! Between the delicious cocktails and tour of the distillery we had the best time. Highly recommend!

I don't always take the same route when passing through Oregon City, but Trail Distilling is likely to increase the chances of taking Rt 213 the next time... Starting with a view of the late afternoon light hitting Mt Hood in the view from the parking lot, and moving on to a relaxing tasting room, this was a delightful spot to visit. Everything we tried was smooth and highly drinkable - my wife doesn't normally lean towards whisky as a drink of choice, but found their First City Whisky to be a revelation. I'm not usually a fan of gin, but the Trillium Gin (one of 3 varieties made here) was worth picking up a bottle to take home with us. They've done a lovely job taking a light industrial building and giving it rustic touches to make it a fun place to visit, and to acquaint yourself with their spirits.

Oregon City Brewing Company is an attractive destination that offers a rotating selection of handcrafted artisanal beers, both indoors and outdoors. Besides serving great brats, fries, and beer cheese, they have earned praise for their fantastic offerings of craft brews such as the orbital 6 imperial hazy IPA. The brewery takes pride in their knowledgeable staff who are always eager to lend a helping hand in selecting the perfect pint or even brewing a batch.
Oregon City Brewing Company is one of my favorite places to go when I'm back home. They have some really solid beers and the food is good too. Would definitely recommend taking some time to check this place out. They're also pet friendly!

While the food selection is pretty minimal, I had a sausage hot dog and it was genuinely some of the best sausage I’ve ever had. I don’t like kraut or mustard but I’m sure both are delicious. I recommend the beer cheese with whatever you decide to get. The salad was very unique and refreshingly flavorful. My friend had a charcuterie board and the meats and cheeses I tried were all very good quality with rich and complex flavors. I’m not a beer person really, but the beer selection is staggeringly large…so much so that there are a few I’ll likely try in the future. They make their own colas…cream soda and root beer. The root beer was good and I’m really looking forward to trying the cream soda. Only two wine options, the Pinot Noir was tolerable.
Just a heads up, the place seems to be under construction (April 2022), making the dining room rather cramped; and the only restroom option was a port-a-potty, but I also did not see a hand washing location. That doesn’t mean there wasn’t one as I did not ask. I just used hand sanitizer.

Great food carts... in fact, they're way better than across the street at Corner 14. The hands down leader here is Pete's Meats. The owner is amazing (and it's a woman!) and so welcoming but also makes a mean BBQ that doesn't let you go hungry! Jackpot has a great burger and chicken sandwiches and creative options. The owner is a really cool, friendly guy and is trying to make great food that's fun. ESan is great Thai food. They had a long standing and arguably the best Thai food in downtown Portland for a couple decades (across from Kells) but now they run this foodcart and it is the best thai food in OC, West Linn, and Gladstone area... I usually order here and then walk across the street to Corner 14 for cocktails but if you like beer, OCB is great!

Great place to meet friends, come for a game or local meet ups, food carts for all- local beer, local food, big space with indoor seating. Ranch Pizza out off 14th has been a great addition! Love their vegan slices plus you can see if they have their veg pepperoni to add to a pizza slice! Take off the ranch if any and get a side of marinara:) yum!
They play good music on their record player inside which is a nice touch to the ambiance.
Huge open door that lead to an covered area with tables with food carts to the side, some uncovered seating outside for nice days. Parking lot is free for goers.
But can be limited during peek times but usually you can find in the neighboring streets.

I was lured in with free 6 week training program. They did not disclose the $500 deposit for the “free” training until I got to the consultation. The beautifully preserved cabin situated next to an equally impressive church at the Baker Cabin Site-Pioneer Church offers visitors a glimpse into the history of Oregon City's beginnings and its construction. Although access to the cabin is limited due to a gated gravel road, there is a wheelchair accessible path through the lawn from the nearby parking lot. The museum provides ample opportunities for sightseeing and exploration, with knowledgeable curators who can provide valuable insights about this area.
Excellent place for a walk and dog friendly if your a responsible dog owner.

Absolutely best choice for a venue, zero regrets!!! It made for stunning photos, the size of the church is perfect for an intimate wedding or elopement. We had 30 people very comfortably in the Church. Communication was wonderful and everyone was extremely accommodating, we ended up staying past our time slot taking pictures and we felt no rush from staff to leave, they were so kind! The attention to detail here was just darling, the dressing room is so sweetly set up and everything is very thoughtful. I asked them if it was possible not to mow before our wedding to keep the flowers in the field and they did which was so kind of them. We had plenty of parking for 30 people as well, but do note it's a only a porta potty. We didn't have our reception here we had it at my family's event barn, but the ceremony was terrific here and i'd do it over 100 times. The price was also outstanding for the beauty of the venue. My only complaint is the road it a little loud but it's not the end of the world, we had people honking and waving while taking pictures and lined up but i thought it was sweet, to each their own.

Wonderfully preserved cabin next to an equally wonderful church. Check website for any interior tours, but I went when no one was there, the buildings were shut, but things to see were still plentiful. There is a gravel road that leads to the cabin, but it was gated off. This was the only wheelchair accessible way to see the cabin, however, it's only a short stroll through the lawn from the free parking lot.

My mother, Sharon Hall , ( Clark, Bostick ) was born in Burke South Dakota in 1941. When she was around 11 or 12 yrs old the family moved to Oregon and they lived in the Baker Cabin for awhile. Years later in 1983 I and my husband James Bostick Jr were married in the little white church that sets at the entrance to the cabin. So the whole place is special to me.
