The Conrad Mansion Museum, built in 1895 and now fully restored, offers guided tours by period-dressed guides. It is a significant part of Kalispell's history and boasts beautiful gardens ideal for picnics or leisurely walks. The mansion's Christmas tour is especially enchanting due to its stunning decorations every year. Inside the house are original pieces from clothing to cookware and electrical appliances.
Fascinating place with original furniture, clothing and toys. The guided tour is very worthwhile.

The place is fantastic. What a beautiful house and the story of Mr Conrad was awesome. To have fought in the war of the states and then made two fortunes. 9 million dollars back in the 1800,s WOW

We took the guided tour. It was amazing. Original everything inside the house, from clothing and jewelry to cookware and electrical appliances. I wish they had offered group rates, we went with a family of 5. It was a bit pricey.

Conrad Mansion is a historic site in Kalispell that is a well maintained museum. While impressive on the outside, it is even more impressive on the inside. It has high-end architectural features, quality wood and had 'modern day conveniences' for it's time. Lots of beautiful woodwork. You get pulled back in time into the life of the Conrad family. It isn't uncommon for there to a cheaper day annually for locals. They also have events around Halloween and Christmas.

The Conrad mansion is a beautiful piece of Kalispell's history and their gardens are great for a picnic or a small stroll. They've redone their gardens recently and they did a beautiful job. I've been on their tours a few times too which are all really interesting. Their Christmas tour is especially magical since the mansion is decorated beautifully evey year. My husband and I actually got married there so you could say we're a little biased!

Lovely tour, helpful and knowledgeable staff, and amazing mansion/museum. I’ve done several mansion tours in the west and this house was stunning! I loved the real artifacts and family stories that have been kept alive. I would like to see more info on the ground/architecture though. Thanks!

Wonderful mansion and nice reading about the family's history when walking through it. The mansion is very well taken care of, the caretaker and the rest of the staff do a fantastic job. This is a must see historic site.

This building is a mansion, an architectural master piece with historical significance to the city of Kalispell. Spacious, lovely green grass and well maintained. I couldn't enter because I missed the time of tour of the building. It's affordable and their staff are friendly and courteous. Parking is on the street so try to arrive early.

Amazing! We did the docent tour. Don't waste your money on the self guided tour. The Docent was so knowledgeable and personable. Don't miss this Kalispell attraction!

Interesting historical home with unusual features. Look for the secret tiny doors built into the wall under the main staircase. Fun story. We took a self-guided tour but overheard the tailend of a guided tour. Guided tour would add to the experience. Check out the Faerie Steps nearby (search GPS) and how they are associated with the Conrad family. Photos are allowed without flash. I don't want to give away all the surprises but will show where to find the secret doors.
Lone Pine State Park is a picturesque woodland park that provides visitors with scenic trails for horseback riding, hiking, biking and snowshoeing. The park features a delightful visitor center, walking trials and an overlook that is handicap accessible. You can also spot wildlife while hiking on the well-defined paths. However, visitors must be cautious of prairie rattle snakes which could be seen along the trail leading to the cliff at Lone Pine State Park.
The view at Lone Pine lookout is breathtaking! The visitor center is very much worth the stop.

Gorgeous little hike that overlooks the city. It was raining when we went and it was still an amazing morning walk, but I'm sure it would be even better at sunrise or sunset especially on a clear day.

Went up on an entertaining hike with the Bissell 5th and 6th grade field trip to the Lone Pine Park. It started with a fun and educational session for the kids with Ranger Kay, at the visitors center. Then a great venture out on nice open hiking paths, while enjoying the wildlife and other hikers as well.

Good place for a short walk with your dogs or just for the good views. Lots of really nice well taken care of pathways. Although some ice removal on some areas is definitely needed in winter. Last time I went (about a week ago) the ice was an inch or two thick in some spots along the main trails. But overall one of the best spots in Kalispell to go and get some sunshine.

A great place to go for short or long hikes. Amazing views over the valley. The level of difficulty is very low on most trails, and they are all connected and easy to navigate with clearly marked signs. Will most definitely be returning for more hiking adventures with the kiddos.

We enjoy this park SO MUCH! They offer several kids/adult education classes (most free!) To learn about the outdoors and the wildlife in the park. The visitor facility is always tidy and a great stop to check out for locals and travelers! The only "downfall" was one of the classes we joined in on was a new ranger from out of state was teaching about local vegetation and edible resources you can find in our forests. However- the reason I mention she was not local is I found most questions we had she either Googled or did not know. I don't know how their program training works but she may have felt more confident with training prior to leading the group. Otherwise all the classes we have attended have been wonderful !

Very Close to Kalispell, Easy Access Trails and a Small Education Center.
The access road is easy to navigate. Parking is out front of the Education Center.
Inside is a small but quaint store with local huckleberry foods and cute toys for sale. There is a small education center where you can walk around and see animals and interactive exhibits. There is a classroom where they hold instructional programs.
There is a wonderful nearly panoramic view of Kalispell from the main trail. From here you can continue on down the hill to other walking trails or walk back to your car.
Colleen Paxton — Google review
To start with the obvious, the views are pretty awesome no matter the time of day. And secondly, it's a very easy hike considering you can drive to, basically, the top and park. If one chose, you could park at the bottom and hike all the way to the top. This isn't too strenuous of a hike either, but this being Google maps and all, it could get difficult for the hard to move around crowd.
At the top, whether you've chosen to drive or hike up, is a visitor center. It has all the usual, wheelchair parking, restrooms, and other facilities. I do believe it's available for rent, or reservations of some sort, since my mother and brother were wed there. (NO, NOT TO EACH OTHER, C'MON FOLKS!) You'd have to check with them for sure.
I'm any event, it's worth the trip if you find yourself looking for something too do that's close to the Kalispell area, and don't wanna spend any cash. 👍
Awesome park with lots of trails! Only downside is very few people actually follow the leash on your dog rule. We were one of the only people who had a leash on our dog.

I live about 4 miles from this park. It's what I have come to adore about Montana in general...nature is a hop, skip and a jump away. The Notch Trail is a novice trail that offers a real hiker's reward at the end.
The views are spectacular and breath taking, and the park is very well maintained. Dogs are welcome as long as you have them on a leash. Go, and enjoy!!

My big headed, nearly 15 year old travel buddy and I stopped here to learn some more about Montana history, and to add a small part to its story.
I worked at Many Glacier Hotel in Glacier National Park during the summer of 1991, and brought a vintage "Jammer" hat to add to their collection. It will be displayed with other hats and uniforms sometime in late '22 and/or early '23. Stop by. Learn some history. Buy something from the gift shop. Make a donation. Enjoy!

Woodland Water Park is a budget-friendly option for families who want to enjoy water activities during the summer. The park boasts a lazy river, 6-lane lap pool, and thrilling water slides that are sure to provide entertainment for everyone. There's also a well-equipped kiddie pool where young children can play with various fun gadgets. Visitors can also explore the scenic park which offers opportunities to feed ducks, skateboard, and use playgrounds.
Very clean facility. The kiddie area is perfect for little ones, ages 7 and under allowed with exceptions made by lifeguards as needed. The lazy river was super chill and fun for all ages. I didn't try the waterslides but a few in my family did and said they were both so much fun. The lane pool is nice and warm & super clean. If you have little ones, bring life jackets. No floats allowed. Lots of green area to lay out towels or set up chairs. If you can, bring an umbrella chair or sun hat, there isn't much shade. Concession stand was fairly priced with a decent selection of treats and foods. Great value and a fun way to spend a hot summer day.

This park has so much potential but falls short of what it could be! Hours could use improvement, as little kids would love to come in the later morning but it doesn’t open until noon. Lazy river is so fun, but they had a total of 10 tubes for use and were really hard to get. Both my kids (4 and 7) were too short for the water slides, even if we went with them. This was hugely disappointing as we’ve never had issues with them using waterslides at any other park. The kids had fun, but there is room for improvement. Concession has super reasonable prices.

Place has really gone downhill from years ago. 1 inner tube for the lazy river and I was told city can't afford tubes.?? Really. Slide wasn't working and no umbrellas anymore. Remember the nice large green ones for grandparents to sit under. So sad

We drove 45 minutes for a special end of vacation day. We arrived at 12:55 (they opened at 12) and they were closing due to low admissions… 5 minutes later a camp of at least 25-30 kids showed up and they still wouldn’t open. Many unhappy kids today.

Worst experience ever, very rude lifeguards too much power to give some 16 year old kid. The bathrooms were very dirty and I saw !!!COCKROACHES IN THE BATHROOM!!! Somebody stole my backpack from the bathroom. The food was very expensive. As a local that has been coming for years it has gone very down hill since a few years ago. I recommend going to big sky water slides just past Columbia falls clean facilities and kind staff.

We came from out of town and we’re so excited to visit a waterpark. This place is a total nightmare. We came first thing when it opened. Water slides broken and closed. Only one single tube to use in the lazy river, but you cannot bring in your own tube either. Ice cold, filthy bug filled water. Rude teenage staff. Disgusting bathrooms. Nothing is maintained. My family walked in and cried. We tried to make the best of it but left within an hour. But no refund even tho they are dishonest money thieves.
Ashley Fishley — Google review
Woodland Water Park is inexpensive fun for the whole family in a beautiful park setting! The slides are super fun and the Lazy River is a relaxing way to stay cool on a hot day. There is also a large swimming pool and a wonderful 'kiddie pool' with lots of fun gadgets for the littles to play with. Be sure to check out the rest of this beautiful park across the way!
B. K. — Google review
Not worth the money! They don’t have any chairs or loungers out. There’s only 4 total tubes for the lazy River so you can’t even float because people take the tubes with them to their towels/sitting area and hold onto them. The kiddie/baby area is colder than everything else so the little kids freeze and Their filtration system must not be working because the lazy River is FILLED with floating grass, spiders, crickets, etc. overall it’s not worth the money you pay and ultimately the city should be maintaining this place better. Don’t our tax dollars go to stuff like this for the community? There’s such a huge lack of things for kids in our area and the few things there are to do are not maintained. It’s sad! Kalispell city do better!!!

Traveling though Kalispell and decided to stop for a bit - it was not a good experience. Kiddie pool is very cold, colder than the other pools there. Only one of two slides working, but only open to bigger kids, so no slides (or really anything) for younger kids. Very few floaties for the lazy river. Our kids hated it. We left within an hour. It was also one of the most expensive water parks we’ve been to. Go elsewhere if you can.
The Hockaday Museum of Art, located in a grand Carnegie Library building, showcases the creations of Montana artists from both past and present. The collection features an array of pieces, and visitors can explore the impressive artwork by Jian Renne among others. With over 12 exhibits on display, the museum offers a fascinating glimpse into Montana's art scene.
A lovely spot any day of the week but particularly on a rainy day. I loved the women in the west exhibit, you have to see it before they change it! Everything was lovely and the staff was friendly and helpful

Small museum but I loved the collection of engravings and magazine illustrations from the late 19th century. They were of course clichés of the West and reminded me of a collection of family magazines from that time (Le vingtième siècle and others) I was given a chance to read in my younger days. This collection needs expanding.

I would not recommend bringing your children here. They have demonic art up that they accepted from Highschoolers around town. They also have a transgender anatomy Artwork up. I traveled well out of my way to visit the Hockaday in Kalispell a few weeks ago and was very disappointed. There are virtually no pieces on display which are owned by the "museum" and the four galleries were filled almost exclusively with paintings and other works FOR SALE. In other words, the place is a gallery, not a museum (and usually galleries don't charge admission). One of the docents told me they own one Charley Russell painting but that it was locked away.
(I note that the NW Montana Museum of History just down the street was very interesting and well worth the visit.)

This museum, built in the building of an old library, contains a lot of great works of art focusing on local nature and history. It was a great visit after a week exploring glacuer national park since webhad already seen many of the areas featured in the paintings. The admission fee is affordable and there is both artwork and merchandise available for sale.
One of the only places opened after 8 in Kalispell on a Wednesday. We showed and sat outside where there was a lot of seating.
Hefty nuts had the perfect coconut taste. Tried a flight of beers and not a single beer missed.
Shared some crispy onion rings that were cooked well, with the onion not coming out of the ring. The combination with the sauce made it a terrific appetizer. The nachos blew us away. The cheese was the perfect velvety texture. Make sure to add medium rare tri tip, as it takes the dish to the next level.
Perfect late night happy hour.

Tried to reach out via email to let these folks know of my dissatisfaction to see if there was at least a discussion to be had before coming here. Went to adult prom both years they have been doing it. The first year was awesome minus the catering. We bought a table and got benefits for purchasing a table. This year we bought an even bigger table(10 instead of 8) and there was absolutely zero perks for purchasing a whole table. The catering this year was done buy the same person as last year and was less and worse than the prior year. It wasn't even a dinner this year. It was really a mess of different finger foods that has zero coherence with each other. drink prices were crazy as well. Then the dj was like guess what!?!? we can stay till 10:45... that doesn't matter lots of folks were running for the door before 9:30. Like I said sad because it went down hill in just one year.

This place is by no means even close to a 5 star rating if you’re comparing to any other 5 star brewery. The beer is OK, nothing to rave about. The food is OK, nothing to rave about. I ordered 6 Wings and received 5-1/2 “SMOKED WINGS” that appeared to be anything BUT smoked unless it was liquid smoke?? Smoked wings do NOT look like deep fried wings, I can assure you! A picture is worth a 1000 words.

Had their biscuits and gravy special on Sunday morning which was recommended by the bar staff. I don't recommend it. The biscuit was hard as a rock and required a knife to cut and some serious chewing, I only ate half of one before deciding to call it quits. Nice interior, service was quick. They had a wide selection of beer but I had to work later so didn't partake.

This brewery has a very small hidden feel. Their space is tiny, but it was filled with friendly regulars. They had a great selection of beers, everything we ordered was quite good and they seem to have a few good Belgian beers. One flaw we noticed was cleanliness. Two separate glasses we were given had old lipstick on them which was quite disgusting.

Stopped in for a beer on a gloomy Saturday. Almost every table had empty glasses and dirty dishes. There were spots at the bar but even those had dirty dishes. We sat at the bar for a while and waited to be served but it appeared there was only one person working and she never acknowledged us. We left.

Great beer. If you like coconut, they have the best coconut beer here. But beware, is so popular, they often run out. The food is good too but the best part is the beer specials, happy hour everyday and Thursdays progressive pints.

Love the space. The food is meh, which is a surprise given how good the menu reads. Just always severely underwhelmed by everything Ive had here. The service is always MIA.... took 35 minutes to get a glass of water after being sat on a slow day just the other day. So, I tried to drink some ale to compensate....Id be generous to say their beer is worthy of that title as for the last four years Ive REALLY tried to give them the benefit of the doubt with things like "being new," and then "covid," but I just cant say anything good about this flat, metallic syrup-water and the headaches that ensue from just two. Hopefully their wf location and proximity to the Flathead's best: Bonsai and Sacred Waters, will help them better understand chemistry because Im done drinking beer here. If I wanted flat, overpriced ale, id go to Bias
Bias Brewing, located in downtown Kalispell, is a community-focused tap room dedicated to producing top-quality craft beers for locals and visitors. With an ever-expanding selection of 41 unique brews, Bias Brewing constantly experiments with new styles. The brewery also offers a variety of pub bites to complement their extensive beer menu. Bias brewing was a little off the main street, but very much worth the visit. They have a good selection of beers and some rather unique ones we were happy to try. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful. They had a pretty neat collection of glassware and a good vibe.

Regular Live Music and Growler Refills
When I came here for lunch one day right after it opened there was only one person on the staff and she was in training. Needless to say my food was a creation in itself. Nothing was terrible but I'd say definitely come here for the beer and live music first. The food has since improved but it is still simple bar fare. I'd recommend the loaded nachos.
The prices for food, drinks and growlers are more that reasonable.
Often you will see people popping in to refill their Growlers.
I very much enjoy coming in for the tiny pours which are great to sample through a few of their local and specialty brews before you settle on one.
I highly recommend the seasonal Attic Window Pumpkin Ale
The cat's paw is a bit sharp for a lighter beer but the Live wire coffee blond will wake you right up.
Come in when they have live music and sit at the brightly lit tables to enjoy and watch the people stroll by down 1st Avenue.
They offer a weekly trivia night here as well.
Parking is convenient right out front on 1st.

Stopped at Bias when we were in Kalispell for business recently. Really enjoyed the location as it is literally right next door to one of the places I needed to stop. The beer was pretty good, a mix of "modern" beer styles and Montana standards. Over the course of two visits, I had every single one of their beers and I brought home a cherry brandy barrel aged barleywine that I will share with friends at some point. Food was fine. Typical bar food, nachos and flatbread type things, no complaints.
The best part of the visit was the service provided by the bartender and one of the servers. We had some questions that only locals could answer and they were extremely helpful.
We would happily return.

Out of towner who still thinks about this place because it was THAT good! We were visiting from Minnesota and looking for dog friendly breweries. This one not only came up in our search but the staff were amazingly friendly! We found a table on their patio and they brought water dishes for our dogs. I can’t remember the exact IPAs we ordered, but they were the best and most smooth IPAs I have ever had. They had just the right amount of hops and were brewed to perfection. We also ordered food from their new menu which also was top notch! We had the candy (sandwich) and the meatball hoagie. The flavor profile in the candy sandwich was outstanding. The meatball hoagie had perfectly seasoned sauce and the meatballs were also amazing. We highly recommend this place. I wish we lived in Kalispell so we could visit more often. Great selection of craft beers, welcoming atmosphere and easy accessibility off Hwy 2. Quality entertainment on a regular basis. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Always a fun stop before a flight out. Airport is close by.

Staff was friendly, atmosphere was great. Beer prices were very much on the high side for any microbrewery in the state (I’ve been to almost all of them). Food was good, but limited options for vegetarians.
The big problem was the flies. The doors were all closed, but there were still hundreds of flies on the food, the tables, (I assume the kitchen) and everywhere. People at every table were swatting at them. So annoying that it made us question the cleanliness of the place. How are they keeping them out of the kitchen? Really, how much would a few (dozen) strips of flypaper cost? Put them out at night and the problem would be solved by morning. And keep the doors closed. It’s too hot and smoky to have them open anyway.

First time there tonight, everyone was super helpful and friendly. We had fish and chips, fish tacos and Philly fever all delicious! Atmosphere was nice had live music going. The kid working the food side was so nice and easy to talk to and very helpful! The bar tenders were super nice too. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our time at Sacred Waters Brewery. When we found out they closed at 8pm, we were disappointed. We were having too much fun listening to the music and enjoying the beer.
The food was a bit disappointing. We tried the special tacos. Not quite sure what they were trying to accomplish but it tasted like chicken and cabbage drowned in teriyaki sauce. Way too sweet. The fish taco were much better!
Beers were great, nice atmosphere inside. Came back during the week and it was trivia night. We opted to sit outside on the HUGE patio.
Give this place a try but don't expect too much from the food. Oh ya, there's a winery next door if you aren't a beer drinker!

Amazing vibes inside. Great selection of beer - shout out for the poblano pepper beer, it's fantastic! - and a really good kitchen in the back. The only downside is the dog patio out front - it's enclosed and concrete, so it gets pretty scorching out there. I know they're probably trying to keep the green space out back nice and clean, but it limits visits with a pup in tow.
Work event
Was here in host of a work event. Was glad the location was here as the art was incredible.
Looking forward to revisiting

Colors that make you smile! Images that bring sunshine to your soul! That's how I would describe Marshall Noice's paintings! What an artist! His work is so appealing and so well priced! He has prints and even some smalls that I love. So nice to have a few of these paintings in your home when the winter weather gets too gray, as it does in the Flathead Valley. Marshall himself is a delight and has a very good sense of humor. Stop in and pick up a few paintings and get your home looking happier.

Beautiful remodeled space and some of the best modern art in Montana!
I have been competing here since I was very little all the way up thru high school. It is awesome to come here watch my little girls do the same thing.

Very well maintained. A very considerate and helpful parking lot attendant. The only complaint is the men's bathrooms toilets were ALL clogged and over flowing at 11am and the event only started at 10.

Every event seems to have a gate fee, only take credit cards now. The Legends were all our teachers at KJHS and FHS, most still living.

Provide parking for people attending. You made living dangerous on 11th. Drivers clog the road, creating a one way street that has NO SIDEWALKS OR STOP SIGNS. Really smart with the amount of traffic that flows through this road regularly. Are you trying to get someone killed? Build a parking structure, or give the residents the right to not let these people park here!

The stadium itself is pretty great. The street parking is not great. I don't mind the walk, but there aren't consistent sidewalks, and I can't imagine all the homeowners in the vicinity consider it wonderful to have hordes constantly trampling their yards and filling every inch of curb space (or blocking driveways). When you've experienced much more well-planned complexes, this falls short.

Not really a great field and there's very limited parking. the F'n soccer mom's need to quit thinking they can park in anyone's private driveway and think it's fine, its happened multiple times & the issue has yet to be addressed!

It's a good clean stadium. Appears well maintained and kept up.
The bleachers are pretty nice... as far as bleachers go.
There's a beautiful view of the swan mountains to the east and plenty of street parking.
Overall a good athletic sports joint yo.

The Legends Stadium is a great field and very well taken care of. It doesn't have any parking for spectators which could and should really be addressed however. In the very least, I think the high school ball clubs could provide shuttle buses to and from select places in Kalispell that do have parking availability.

Very lame, place is closed to the public (so no running on the track). What’s the point of having such a nice track here if no one can use it?
Welcoming church and a great school. We have loved our child going here!

We just love this parish! Have gone to 3 Masses there. Super priests, faith filled parishioners and the Eucharist was amazing!!!

The current thirty-year priest has a discernable accent and won an award. The deacon gave a thoughtful homily. The church has a large, unique crucifix hanging above the altar and outlined by the resurrected Jesus done in medal. Traditional pews and kneelers upstairs. Large area downstairs with the service on a TV. Modern restrooms are downstairs in the back; stairs and an elevator are available.

Very old historic Catholic Church from the early 1900s. Newly restored within the past year. Beautiful stained glass throughout.Father Stan is friendly and well liked in the community. He celebrates his 29th year as a priest. Many services spread help to those most in need

It is a beautiful church! And full of history! Father Rod is excellent and always engaging during mass. And it is truly a wonderful spot to get married!! Take one look, you won't regret it!

Mass was held in the school gym after a kitchen fire in the church proper. Large community of friendly folks who stepped up with the recovery. Very pleasant way to end a vacation.

St. Matthews will always be a dear home to me, no matter how far away I go. I loved the school, the sisters, and the priests. This was where I grew up into the person I am today.

Center of town. Great Veterans memorial. We used to hang out here , as teens, in the 1990's and meet all our friends.

This used to be a great hangout spot, but now homeless people hang out here all day and night. The city is trying to fix the issue but we will see how that goes when the new rules and city ordinances go into effect.

It's a good place benazir you're playing with your kids on a day off or putting your feet up because you're homeless it's all in all it really good place keep the peace please
Michelle Haslage — Google review
It looks like a nice enough park, but the homeless population thought so too. I don't have a problem with anyone enjoying the park, but there were several "shady" characters walking around eyeballing us.
I wouldn't recommend it for my daughters to go there alone. There are several other small parks nearby though.
