The Deerfield Beach International Fishing Pier is a popular spot for fishing with rod rentals, bait, and accessories. There are also views of the ocean that are worth checking out. Non-residents pay $2 per person while residents pay only $1.
Cool pier with awesome views. They charge two dollars for non residents. There is always people fishing which is pretty cool. And there is a few brown pelicans that hang out on the pier.

Nice beach, we found a big parking very close to the beach with charepoint Charger Station while you spend time on the beach you can charge your car, parking fees 3$ h, overall very nice place for kids as well if it's not windy day.

This was an awesome celebration. Our family went to this beach to do a floral ritual in behalf of our sister. We threw flowers into the ocean and released balloons. This was amazing 👏!

Went here for a day of bait fishing with friends. We got lucky and had a beautiful day ahead of us, with barely any clouds after sunrise. The water was so blue and clear, we were able to see all the fish swimming around. We even saw a ray, 3 sea turtles, and a few barracudas. We also caught a bunch of bait as well with the squid we bought from the receptionist!
There were also a lot of boats near us, but security was on top of it. The other fishermen near us were kind and respectful.
The only con is that parking near the dock is way too little. We arrived at 5:30am, 30min before the dock opened, but it started to fill up around 6:00am. Be warned, otherwise you pay for parking at the garage.

If you want to go in the water go here in Deerfield. We went a few times to Boca and the waves are always just impossible. Also excellent places to eat.

I love ❤️ coming by the pier. There is plenty of action from the local fishermen in the area, the end of the pier is pretty busy. Seating is a bit limited towards the end but the have a covered portion of the bridge which helps with sun or rain. The entry is $1, but only one time… if you go out, you have to pay to go back in. From this spot you can watch the sunset, beach weddings, you name it. The area is pretty lively and always buzzing with people. You can always get a nice bite at the Deerfield Beach Cafe right at the beginning of the pier.
We love this area!!

I was in town for a real estate conference and staying with a friend in Boca. She recommended Deerfield Beach for a chill day and it was perfect. Easy to park, great beach access, good vibes, nice food options and decent public bathrooms.

This is my favorite pier, it's much quieter than the one in Pompano. Unfortunately the last hurricane damaged the final part of the pier. Here I go fishing often

They charge a nominal fee for entrance and give you a wrist band so you can reenter throughout the day. There are a couple of benches on the pier and public restrooms right before the gate.

We spent a few weeks here, one of our favorite places in Florida. During the day, you can hang out in the quiet part of the beach and relax, or you can go to the other side of the peer where the volleyball nets are and you get all the action.
At night, you can sit by the beach and just look at the spectacular moon reflection in the ocean, or you can check out some of the many restaurants and pubs right by the beach.

Beautiful pier. Still has damage from a previous hurricane on the end section which is not accessible to public. Charge is $2/person for all day for non Deerfield Beach residents.

Clean sand and, a pier to walk on, $2 entry. Parking is easy to find. Granular sand, watch out for the washed up jelly fish.

Great Place to Spend the Day.
Great place to enjoy the morning or Afternoon fishing or just watching fisherman do their work!
Beautiful scenario of Deerfield Beach.
Locals have to Pay 1,00 USD to enter.
Tourists have to Pay 2,00 USD to enter. You can get a wristband to have multiple entries during the same day.
The daily pass to Fish cost 4,00 USD.
There are Benches to rest and Sinks to clean the fishes.

We just met this place after living in Miami 15 years I have to say is the best we have found
Quiet Waters Park is a large park with many amenities for visitors. It offers cable water skiing, fishing, bike trails, basketball courts and a campground.
Whoever took over the mountain bike trails has ratcheted this place up considerably . I stopped going a couple years back since after a hurricane years ago, they totally wrecked the trails. Now I've been 3 times in one week. Worth a trip. Hope they keep up the work , we need somewhere closer than Key Biscayne or Markham

Visited this park on May, 2022.
Big park, with several different sections.
There is a water ski area where they pull the skiers with ropes. I didn’t ask the rates.
There is a camping area with “pre-built” camps. There is also a little water park for small children.
The only thing that bothered me is that the grass and landscaping aren’t too well-kept as many other parks I have been to.
It feels a bit wild there. It needs some tidying up.
Some of the people in the camping grounds seemed a bit sketchy.

The Florida Renaissance Festival is one of the festivals this beautiful park hosts. It happens every year and it is fun. This park unlike other parks does a big renaissance fair. It is so cool. People dress up in costumes. It is something worth checking out. It is a family friendly event with good foods, shows, music, performers, vendors and rides. I had a great time.
This is a big park and easy to find. The staff is pretty friendly. It has plenty of parking all around and activities for everyone. I like the walking trail. I found it nice. I have always enjoyed my time here
Judy Sun — Google review
Great trails, even after a lot of rain! There are more rocky trails throughout the 9 mile course, but there are at least one or two trails that have smooth berms. Good to know that the trails hold up after lots of rain, probably because of all the ponds nearby that the water can drain to. You’ll get water views, but also the turnpike. Much narrower trails than Camp Murphy at JD, take it easy if you’re not familiar or you’ll end up in the drink or hitting a bolder jetting out on the trail!

I have been to this park mostly to attend the Florida Renaissance Festival and it's an amazing and well cared spot for many reasons. There are lots of activities and possibilities for a day within nature. Parking is easy, bathrooms are clean and abundant, facilities are simple yet efficient. Is a great place for family adventures.

I have been coming to this park since 1997 with family & friends. I've seen it grow into such an amazing place. From paddle boats, dog park, Frisbee golf, kids water park, play grounds, skiing, bbqing, camping & especially the Renfest!!! I go every year if opened. This place never disappoints.

This park has a nice paved bike trail and non paved shorter trails. There’s a part of the park that’s closed which leads to more unpaved bike trails. Their water park is seasonal unfortunately. They have an RV park which seems nice. A dog area that looks fun for animals. And a great playground with sunshade.

Love the Renaissance Festival at this park. It is an amazing set up, a place where you can go back into history. Lots of shows, great music, especially the medieval Celtic bands and food + plenty of beer. But above all, you would be fascinated with the customs,it's our second halloween! Great environment, friendly staff, plenty of parking but make sure you arrive early to enjoy it the whole day!

Deerfield Island Park - Currently Closed for Construction
Deerfield Island Park is a beautiful nature preserve that is accessible only by boat. This park features mangrove swamps and nature trails, as well as a small marina and Intracoastal dock. Visitors can enjoy hiking and exploring the beauty of the park, while also enjoying free boat rides.
What a beautiful way to spend a couple of hours, next to the water and surrounded by nature. Walk the Mangrove Trail, Coquina Trail, look out over the Intracoastal from the Observation Deck and watch for butterflies in the Butterfly Garden. You may even spy a manatee! The boat shuttle is free from Sullivan Park on Saturdays and Sundays. Awesome!

Wonderful park with free Ferry boat ride over to the nature trails. In the middle of all the tourists you are alone on an island. Many picnic tables for snacks or lunches. Restrooms and water bottle filling station. Good excursion for the day and come back to splash in the splash pad and playground.

A great place to visit if you are looking for some time away from the beach. The ferry is free and there is always a friendly staff member willing to answer your questions. There are picnic areas through the trails and a bathroom at the start. Go for a short walk or stay for an afternoon!

The parking was free, the boat ride free and the island is a lovely place to picnic, and wander in the natural setting. Some of the best things in life are free! A lovely place to visit, bring the kids, there’s fun in the small park there, with a water sprinkler for the little ones to enjoy in warm weather.

Take the free ferry to the island. Tell the pilots you want to rent a paddle board or kayak. Kayaking around the island is fun. Gopher turtles not above ground when I visited. The island is very jungle like. Lovely trees, palms, greenery and some flowers. There are boardwalks and ground trails and picnic groves. A lot of people were lost on the trails, make sure to grab a map. Saw blue herons and egrets, adult and babies, iguanas, anones.Fish were jumping in the canals. Big boats on the intercoastal, some made big waves. There are bathrooms and water fountains on the island, small boat dock area and picnic areas. Some people claimed to have seen a gopher turtle. Make sure to sign in and out on the attendance sheet while on the ferry.

The island is quite nice and tranquil. We found the shuttle easy for transport over to the island. We walked every path on the island and like the other reviews said, it is jungle like. I had been here a number of years ago and I thought the renovations to the paths to be great. I liked all the informative signs too.
We saw birds, crabs, iguanas, and oh so many spiders. They were sizable too! Some were hanging in the paths or overhead. On the bright side, they weren't really moving around, just hanging out, so you could avoid them. I would recommend the island but I do want to emphasize the spiders.
The Arboretum at Constitution Park is a serene and enchanting place, containing more than 200 exotic trees from all over the world. The 9-acre park offers visitors a half-mile accessible path to explore, with plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the scenery. The park also features two misting waterfalls in its tropical rainforest section, as well as basketball courts, tennis courts, and a playground for visitors before their nature walk.
This is a fantastic little park! It has a beautiful walk filled with trees from all over, and a few small waterfalls. It has a nice nature walk where you can show people, or your kids, new things about nature with trees from all around the world, including some fruiting trees. This is definitely a spot to check out! The little ponds and waterfalls are very relaxing and a literal breath of fresh air. It also has exercise equipment around the walk and there are directions to show you how to work out.

We loved taking a little break from our busy schedules at this stress-relieving spot and enjoy a walk that winds through native and imported trees and other plants. It was so calm and natural, a hidden pocket of serenity inside an otherwise hectic world. And it's just off the busy roadway. I must have driven past this little arboretum a thousand times and never knew it existed. It's actually just behind a row of businesses that face Hillsboro Boulevard. A canal separates the arboretum from a residential area behind it. It's not visible from the busy boulevard, but it's easy to find using navigation. Best of all, it's completely free. It took us 30 minutes to stroll through it all. We would have taken more time, but it was approaching closing time. The main building, in fact, did close before 6pm, which was the closing time indicated on the door. I can't blame people for taking off early. Fortunately, clean portable restrooms were available outside.

Arboretum is beautiful. It looks like it could use a little groundskeeping but nothing too bad. There are benches and picnic tables all over to enjoy the park.
The path is wheelchair accessible and there's plenty of play area for kids. There is a playground, basketball court, and tennis court. The playground needs some updating but plenty of kids were enjoying it. There were no restrooms on premise. If there were some in the main building, we wouldn't know since it closed before the park did.
Overall, we really enjoyed wandering the arboretum and will come back to enjoy it again.

We enjoyed our morning here. Kids loved playing at the playground. We all enjoyed the walk through the trail to view all the different trees and plants. There is also a tennis and basketball court to use. The only bathroom I could find was a porta potty but it was decent. A crew was there planting new plants and let the kids help plant too! Very nice!

The tour was excellent. I never realized this place was here while I was living in the area. This park has a lot of different trees to see. Some are native to Florida but most are not. The way it is set up in different sections adds to goodness of the place.

During my exploration of different parks in town for walking purposes, I came across Constitution Park and was pleasantly surprised by how much shaded area it offers. The park boasts numerous tall trees that make it an ideal spot for escaping from direct sunlight while enjoying a rejuvenating walk amidst nature.
Julie Ruffolo — Google review
This is one of our favorite places when we come to visit Deerfield Beach. A relatively short saunter along a paved sidewalk through tall mature trees alongside a small river with water features that give off a waterfall sound. Sit on benches or tables they provide or bring your own. Watch people go by getting exercise or walking their dog. There are exercise workstations along the pathway as well as a children's playground and it neighbors onto a Tennis court for public use. And it is serviced by a small building with bathroom facilities as well as one outhouse, free parking available. I like to bring a good book or my knitting and enjoy the sun peeking through the trees for a couple of hours. No food, BYOCoffee. Calm and serene.
Rhonda Nissenbaum — Google review
Great place to walk through. Something for everyone. Fruit trees, Palms, Cycads, Flowering trees, Vines, and more. Basketball and Tennis courts as well as a covered play structure for young kids.

The Arboretum in Deerfield Beach is an absolute gem. With its winding pathways shaded by a canopy of vibrant trees, it's a haven for those seeking a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. As a skin therapist, I find it a fantastic place to unwind and reconnect with nature's calming energy. The diversity of flora here brings a sense of balance and harmony, aligning perfectly with my holistic approach to beauty. Whether you're a local or just passing through, the Arboretum is a serene spot that simply can't be missed...

This is such a magical place! The “Tree Zoo” as they call it is 9 acres of land with over 200 exotic trees from five continents around the world. All of the trees can be seen along a 1/2 mile walking path that is handicap accessible. There are lots of places to sit and enjoy the scenery. There’s also two misting waterfalls in the tropical rainforest. Before the nature walk, there are basketball courts, tennis courts, and a playground. It is dog friendly! Please keep your pets on leashes and clean up after them so it stays that way. It can get a little buggy so bug spray is definitely recommended!

Lovely, small public and free arboretum. Looking a little tired, and could use some attention. Good variety of Palms, and tropical flora from around the world. A few lie waterfalls, lots of shade and ramadas, benches and tables. All flat so easily handicapped and stroller accessible. Updating the children’s playground area today. Looks very inviting for kids. Also main building was closed and had to use a jiffy-John. Enjoyed our visit.

Wow, we've lived in Coral Springs for many years and didn't know about this place until a couple of wks ago! The park is very nice! Lots of trees, plants, etc. Very relaxing. If you're seeking an exhilarating experience, Ski Rixen USA is the perfect destination for cable water-skiing and wakeboarding. It's America's first park of its kind where visitors can rent equipment and receive instructions without needing a boat or personal gear. The venue also offers food, drinks, relaxation areas with sun loungers to watch others ski, ramps and challenging jumps for enthusiasts who are up for it.
I took my 12 year old wakeboarding at Ski Rixen. We had a blast and the crew was awesome. Nothing but positive vibes and helpful tips from the folks operating the lift and running the shop. We had a great day and will stop by again next time we're in south FL.

Great place, great pricing, but there are some negative things. 1) Music is way too loud. And 2) riding is too fast. I got injured pretty badly, and I would recommend to have the music and speed down.

My friend Michael Gowen highly recommended this place so our group of friends and I recently embarked on an unforgettable wakeboarding adventure at Sky Rixen USA in Deerfield, Florida, and I cannot express how fantastic our experience was! We opted for a private class as beginners, and from start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make it an incredible day.
First and foremost, I have to commend the staff for being absolutely amazing. Their friendliness and willingness to help were immediately apparent. As first-timers, we had our fair share of nerves, but the staff put us at ease right away. They took the time to walk us through the basics of wakeboarding, ensured we were equipped with the proper safety gear, and patiently addressed all our questions. Their expertise and enthusiasm made us feel not just welcomed but excited to dive into this thrilling sport.
Our instructor deserves a special shoutout. They tailored the lesson perfectly to our skill level, delivering clear and concise instructions that were easy for us to grasp. Their patience and encouragement throughout the session were instrumental in boosting our confidence as we progressed. It was evident that our instructor was not just highly skilled but also deeply passionate about wakeboarding, and their infectious enthusiasm made the day even more enjoyable.
The private class was a game-changer for us. It provided us with the personalized attention we needed to grasp the fundamentals of wakeboarding. We felt comfortable seeking assistance and guidance, and our instructor was right there to support us every step of the way. It truly felt like a bespoke adventure designed to cater to our specific needs and abilities.
In summary, our day at Sky Rixen USA was the highlight of our visit to Deerfield, Florida. Thanks to the exceptional staff and their dedication to providing both a safe and unforgettable experience, we left with wide smiles and unforgettable memories.
Whether you're a seasoned wakeboarder or a complete novice, I wholeheartedly recommend Sky Rixen USA for an exceptional wakeboarding adventure. Their incredible staff, top-tier instruction, and welcoming atmosphere guarantee an unforgettable experience. We're already counting down the days until our next visit!

You are welcome here!
Google does Rixen a disservice by listing it as an equipment rental facility when in fact its a full-fledged wake park that rents out equipment. However, I choose to come to Rixen because of the atmosphere. Allen has the absolute best personality you could ever hope to find in a person. He's personable, enthusiastic, and his attitude infects the place and it makes you glad to be there. You'd never guess he's an absolute monster on the cable because he's too humble. Anthony, and the rest of the guys are just mind-blowing athletes and all-around cool bros who do their best to offer you the instruction you need when you're out there while DJing up a great playlist on the speakers to create a chill vibe for the place.
Keep in mind that a ton of the kids out here are nationals-level riders mixed in with people coming for their first time. The first day is very difficult and it takes awhile to get the hang of it so don't feel intimidated by the prodigies with years of experience. They all know what it was like to start out. Just have fun with it cause that's what it's all about.

Nice little space on the Intracoastal for the kids to play in a splash pad or just sit on a bench with a view of the Intracoastal Waterway and watch the boats go by. If you hear rustling overhead in the trees, it's probably an iguana in one of the palms, as we have seen a few doing just that. It's called a park, but the green space is limited. Much of the "park" is actually concrete. Still it's a nice place for a quick escape. When the passenger ferry is operating, this is where it picks up and drops off people to and from Deerfield Island Park, which is well worth checking out too.

What kid does not love a water splash area? Especially in this heat, it’s a perfect way to let the kids splash around and have fun and cool off all at the same time.
It’s a terrific place to bring your kids or just go relax and watch the boats go by on the Intercoastal.
Super safe for the kids, they even have age-appropriate areas which is something I’ve never seen before.
No, you can’t bring your dogs, but there are plenty of places that you can do that.
It’s very clean, there’s even a handwashing station, and a place to grab something to eat if you want to spend some time there and not have to bring your own food.
Bathrooms are super clean! AND…It feels so safe there as well.
No weirdos or creepy crawlies walking around.

Beautiful park, the fishing sucks now though, I guess there was too much pressure from anglers :(. I wish they wouldn't lock the bathrooms at night, that's pretty weird and unhelpful to anybody that is going there after (I'm assuming) sundown. The park is open until midnight but only if you can hold it.

The house is only open on tje weekend, but I wanted to take a picture of the tree. The giant tree next to the house is just beautiful and worth on its own.

Tours of the Butler House are conducted by knowledgable as well as very nice members of the Historical Society. It's worth a visit.

My parents lived and met on Butler Camp in the late 50’s. So much has been saved and shared in this space. So many moments in time.

I came over for one of the free tours they offer on Saturday mornings. This is one of four sites that the Deerfield Beach Historical Society operates in the city. The historic home was the residence of James D. and Alice Butler. They married in 1906 in Texas and came to visit a relative in Florida in 1910 and ended up staying. James had made money by owning a small grocery store. Later when he moved to Deerfield Beach he farmed green beans.
The house was built in a Mediterranean Revival style according to plans Alice won in a Ladies Home Journal contest. The 2 story house cost $10,000 to build. The only change Alice made to the plans was that they she didn't want the step down into the dining room that was common in houses of that period because she didn't want the children she was planning for to trip and fall. Sadly due to a medical condition Alice was never able to bear children. Instead she and James looked after the children of the community and were very active in causes for them. James was a member of the first Broward School Board in 1915. There is still a scholarship in their name that is given to this day to every student who graduates from Deerfield Beach High School. Alice formed the first women's club and James served as a Broward County Commissioner. They were both active in their church. The furniture in the house is almost entirely original except for the dining room table that was broken and replaced when it was used to cover up a window during the 1928 Hurricane.
In 1974 the houses was designated a historic site. The Butler's left the house to the Deerfield beach Historical Society in 1977. They operate a small gift shop in the back of the house. Besides the house the property also has a Kester Cottage which was economical housing in the early 1920's. It looks like it was being used for storage. Another nice feature of the property is the 100 year old banyan tree.
My tour was conducted by a young volunteer. She did an amazing job and I learned a lot about people I had previously heard of but did not know that much about. If you are interested in visiting a city wide garage sale is being held at the Butler house on January 31st. More dates for tours can be found on the historical society's website.

Gift shop is open on Saturdays 10 to 2. It has a little of everything. Shopping is as much fun as the tour!
I was visiting Florida, and needed a place to practice at. Deerfield Beach Tennis Center was very accommodating and welcoming.

Horrible experience. I took a 30 minutes lesson and was charged for 60 minutes price. The front desk personnel was rude and irritated. After repeatedly asking her for a receipt, she gave it to the coach, not the customer.

You know you are at the right place if you follow signs to the Cemetery. Ironically, this club is a bit dead with not a lot of on court action or online reviews for that matter.
But still it is a gem of a club right in the heart of Deerfield Beach conveniently located off Hillsborough Avenue close to I-95, US 1, Dixie Highway and a short drive to Deerfield's busy beach scene.
This club has 6 hard courts for tennis and 4 courts in the back lined for pickle ball. All courts have lights for night play and the parking is free next to the courts.
There is a small pro shop and shaded pavilion in the center of the club that make for nice transition before and after tennis.
It's a quaint club with Florida charm along with the most affordable tennis programs around for adults and kids.
With the newly launched courts going in nearby on 18th street in Boca this facility will have to find its niche in the local racquet sports community.

Great hard-through clean courts; Jim, the tennis pro is thorough, teaches the technique and helps you improve. There are clinics or private tutoring.
Valeria Bobroff — Google review
Courts are cracked and very unsafe. The best they can get is a 70 year old “pro”. This place is a joke.

Has six hard courts all in good shape. Very quite not too busy easy to get a court.

This is not a review but a question. I have called the Tennis Center leaving messages and asking for a return call 3 times. Online it says the business is open. (???) Anyone ???
Laid back dive boat kinda like being on your bro's boat. Older salty skipper with great fisherman stories. I'll never go on his boat again, bumped me to make room for his buddy/s and didn't notify me until late the night before. Something unethical about that.

Great Captain! The reefs we were on were beautiful!

Best dive boat in the boca area! Captain Tony is the man
I want to like this park, they have pretty decent playground, a volleyball net, and this path with workout equipment but there was garbage everywhere!! Beer cans, cigarettes, and their wrappers among other piles of trash.
Megan Pedro — Google review
My wife family had a reunion there. It met the need. It's not a large park and you still have to share it with the public. The one pavilion was sufficient for our group.
Pastor Anthony Davis — Google review
Park served its purpose! With covid, everything closes early. It was dark. But this has to be one of the only park open in Florida after sunset. With a gazebo/ pavilion, tables, and lights. Need a spot to eat late at night? Great place! As far as the rest of the park. Can not comment on that.
Bryant Humphrey — Google review
This place looks ratchet. This park needs major improvements. Maybe they should think about getting rid of some of the grass. Weeds are growing every where. Why not add a basketball court or two? Also who ever stole the volleyball net please bring it back.

A great space to do some fitness activities in.
Good BBQ location.
Seems pretty safe for kids to play.
Next to a gas station.

Took my 2 year old daughter to the park for the first time and I didn't feel safe. Suspicious activity and homeless people are very active here.
The South Florida Railway Museum is a facility that exhibits the past of Florida railways in a 1926 station. It displays model trains and other items to demonstrate their operation and history. The museum aims to provide visitors with an educational experience on railway transportation while also preserving the memory of its existence in Florida.
Outstanding people and a great displayed musuem. We've been attending for years and always enjoy our time ,as does our son.

A neat little museum/train modeling clubhouse tucked away in the Amtrak/Trirail station. There are 3 or 4 tracks with elaborate landscapes and a wide variety of accurate train models and award winning landscape models in the routes and generally on display.
The volunteers are helpful and might even let you drive some of the model trains. You can also step right outside and see Trirail and Amtrak trains arriving and departing.
Note that hours are limited - and only on Wednesday and Saturday as of this review - as is bathroom access, though the museum is small enough that may not be an issue.

Great place. The set up is very impressive. The people running it are the best. Very patient and informative. They are knowledgeable and share that knowledge when asked. My son was like a kid on Christmas. They let him run a train. Great place to see.

Had fun viewing the two train model layouts (one HO and one N scale).
Spoke with Bill, who is a club member, he answered questions about the museum/club and the model layouts.
Also, the museum has many railroad artifacts and photos of history for viewing.
Even saw a CSX locomotive travel past the station.
I highly recommend a free visit to the South Florida Railway Museum.

On Saturdays, they open at noon. If you are a fan of old school trains you should definitely go there. Entry is free, but you can donate some tips

Friendly people. They are still working to rebuild the model railroad layouts but it's great to see some behind the scenes.

Small place though full of history and cool tiny towns!

Little train museum with large displays. I loved the little villages and It was very noticeable how much work goes into these displays. I would recommend for all ages.
Not a bad spot overall. Shows are good and lots of people dress up. The main problem is the extended wait times to buy food and drink. 20-30 minute wait times are the normal here. That said it really was a fantastic time.

The only issue was not all the stages are on the map by numbers. Great fun. Plenty of food and shows.

Always a good time. We love everyone there but Bowzer who runs the giant Rocking horse is the best. He sings us All Star every time we go!!!!

Lots of vendors and activities. Take cash for tips, if not, they can take credit card.
Very kid friendly. People dress up in costumes and they are fabulous.
Go early for parking within a walkable distance to the gate. However you will not run out of parking space. There are rickshaws at the gate to bring you back to the car

One of my favorite events that South Florida offers! I love the themes each weekend, especially pirates! It’s great fun for the whole family and I definitely recommend you check out the live shows! They are hysterical!

I loved it. A lot going on. Different acts. A bunch of little shops. Live music. Most of the paths are tree shaded so not crazy hot. Definitely bring cash as most vendors are cash only. I loved seeing all the different costumes.

We had an absolutely amazing day! It's smaller than I expected, and the attendance was much smaller than most Renaissance Festivals but it was kinda nice because for a lot of the day my wife and I felt like we had the place to ourselves. I feel like they should move the venue north to either Orlando or even better the Ocala National Forest, where they would have room to put down roots and grow. All the actors and staff were incredible. Thank you for a wonderful day.

The Florida Renaissance festival is a GUARANTEED good time. My family, a big group of friends, and I went during Celtic weekend and we had the time of our lives. The festival opens at 10 am and remains open until sundown. Here are some things to keep in mind when you go: bring cash because there are some food/beverage, activities, and vendors that do not accept credit card. I would say 100-200 should suffice depending on how much you’re drinking or what you want to purchase. Next, I would say to buy your tickets online. The option to buy tickets at the door is available, but the lines are horrendous. When you purchase the tickets online, they send you a QR code and you are right on in. Word from the wise, try to be patient with the line to go through the security check. It is quite the lengthy line, but it moves rather quickly. Purchase the VIP parking pass and get there early. While there is PLENTY of parking, I will tell you that if you are not there early, parking will be a pain and you will be walking a could half a mile at least. Pack sunscreen and wear clothes/shoes that you do not mind getting dirty. The festival is made up of mostly dirt roads and your shoes, pants, and every single crevice on your body will get dirty. In addition to that, it’s South Florida and the sun is blazing hot from around noon-3ish. In all, it was a great experience, the kids enjoyed it, and there was plenty of things to do for people of all ages.
