Heritage Distilling Co. is a craft distillery based in Gig Harbor, Washington with a focus on producing interesting and unique spirits. The company was founded with the story of every spirit being unique in mind, and has won awards for its products by the American Distilling Institute repeatedly. The distillery offers flights of spirits to try, as well as a menu with extensive options for cocktails.
I’ve been wanting to go to the Heritage Distillery in Gig Harbor for some time now and FINALLY got the time. It’s such a cool little store front with some great items in the front of the store. The menu is pretty extensive and the flights that we tried were super interesting and some were downright AMAZING! Will definitely be going back to purchase some of their gin in the future.

Mix their bacon and spicy Bloody Mary together and you have one of the best drinks of your life. Amazing!!!!
Great place to visit.

Okay look. Don't skip this place. I have tried many of the beverages on their menu and my favorites are the cocoa old fashion, and the lemon drop flight (you can choose/customize your vodka flavors). Anytime I have out of town guests this is a go-to stop either before spending a boatload of money at the shops, or after dinner. It is always clean and classy, yet upbeat and fun. They do serve a few small bites but I recommend just bringing in a small something from a local spot if you'd like food (or have it delivered!)

I went here over the weekend with some friends for the first time and we all had a fantastic time. I went with the whiskey flight and they were all delicious. I ended up buying a bottle of the Cocoa Bomb whiskey because of how much my whiskey hating friend actually liked it. The atmosphere was great, the staff was friendly, and it was a great time overall. I will definitely be coming back here soon.

Such a great place! Staff was SO friendly, it felt like a space where anyone could enjoy, it was so much fun! A huge shoutout to the male employee with long dark hair (didn't get his name ) that chased after us after we'd left when he realized I forgot the sticker I'd purchased, that was so kind thank you again for that!

We ordered 1 set of old fashioned flight which come in three favors (from left to right: classic, fig, cocoa) and 1 set of whiskey flight which come in four favors (from left to right: vanilla bourbon, orange bourbon, vanilla rye and classic 7 years). I enjoyed the cocktail but the straight shots are too strong to fit my taste.

Thomas was delightful! While we enjoyed our menue cocktails immensely, the two he made were fantastic! Loved his Train Wreck but I especially loved the spicy one (I think it was Northwest Heat or something along those lines). Thank you for a lovely end to our girls day!

What a fun and relaxing stop on a beautiful harbor strip! Cute, private areas in the grotto to enjoy snacks and flights on a lovely day in the sun, and comfy seating inside when weather doesn’t permit the picnic. 100% recommend the dual barrel vanilla bourbon - so smooth and a unanimous favorite!

The staff were super helpful and friendly. There are many bitters and syrups from other companies to buy for take home cocktail crafting. There are many different great and some good boozes to choose from. Bacon and ghost pepper vodkas are def yummy. I just wish there were less sweet vodkas. Most were just too sugary for me. I am sure are great in cocktails. I did take home a batch no. 12 vodka that is super smooth.

Sehmel Homestead Park is a vast 98-acre green space that boasts of numerous amenities for visitors to enjoy. The park features various athletic fields and courts, as well as a children's playground that offers an array of activities for the kids. Additionally, there are several walking trails with varying degrees of difficulty that encircle the entire complex, all well-maintained and complete with picturesque wooden boardwalks.
This park is well maintained as is the trails, there is magic in there air when the people are kind , the surroundings clean , and the voices of families cheering there kids on, and you can walk your dog and enjoy nature. That is serenity

Wonderful trail for a quick walk through a beautiful forest that loops around the park.

Best park in Gig Harbor, in my humble opinio. Ball fields, kids play area, adult workout area, huge outdoor amphitheater a cool meadow and a master garden. Trails all the way around and through. Very cool place
Dianna Caudle — Google review
This park is huge by my standards. There are multiple parking lots and areas for a variety of activities. Multiple play areas like for learning gardening with real tools, dirt, plants, fertilizers or whatever the stuff is called, tennis courts, pavilions for group activities, there is just so much to see and do. Might be a good idea to take a picture of the maps so you don’t wonder in circles. You know, I passed this couple like 3-4-5 times because I thought I was smart. The last time I passed them I almost asked them how to get out. The walking/biking trails are numerous. If you live in the area there are multiple trail access points and I took a few pictures to show you.

I love this park! Overall, this park is a comprehensive complex with a soccer field, baseball field, tennis courts, playgrounds, and walking trails. Everything is well maintained. The playground had tons of activities for kids. My favorite thing though is the trails. The trails range in difficulty from easy to moderate and circumnavigate the entire complex. The wooden boardwalks incorporated into the trails add plenty of charm too.i will be coming here with my family again and again, without doubt.

It used to be fun when my boys could play basketball. But pickleball has taken over the court. And they tend to put the tables in the mud. Why?

I would call this a super park because it has it all. Areas for several sports, a garden, hiking trails, a large play area for the kids. Best of all, four miles of hiking trails. Look for the bent tree.

Beautiful & Amazing Park!! We have been coming here for the past 17 years. It has definitely changed (especially way more people, of course Gig Harbor is definitely too Overcrowded now), but it is still the best park all around. We have been Participating in events, sports (through Penmet), walking our dog through the beautiful trails + we love their kiddo playground! I highly recommend this park!!

Great park! So much to do. There are several large fields for softball, baseball and soccer. Several basketball and tennis courts. There is a huge play structure/jungle gym with multiple slides, climbing structures, swings and other activities. Lots of benches and picnic tables for parents to watch children play. Gender specific and family bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Dogs are allowed but must be leased. Doggie waste disposal bags are available. Several water fountains with water bottle fillers. Covered picnic area is first come first served. Lots of swings including toddler, handicapped and regular swings. There is a stationary bike and elliptical machine for parents to use while the kids play. This park gets very crowded during peak hours. Lots of parking but only 3 handicapped spaces which are frequently in use.
The Harbor History Museum features displays showcasing the local heritage, maritime history, and a one-room schoolhouse. The museum's exhibits are well-designed and informative, providing detailed explanations of Gig Harbor's past using fascinating historical artifacts. Notable displays include those featuring early native life and settlers in the area, as well as an exhibit highlighting the notorious collapse of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Overall, the museum is a captivating destination for those interested in learning about Gig Harbor's rich history.
Really cool museum and free, way beyond what you’d expect for a small town. There’s a one room schoolhouse you can go into and imagine what it was like back then. The main exhibit area is also first class, featuring the collapse of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and the settlement of the peninsula with lots of artifacts and videos and such. They’re currently working in a big expansion featuring a big old boat of some sort. Worth a visit for sure!

This is a definite stop for folks who love history and artifacts. This free museum is very well layed out and depicts the establishment and growth of the Gig Harbor Island. There are friendly docents and staff there to answer questions and explain the rich history of Gig Harbor. We particularly enjoyed the First Narrows bridge catastrophy exhibit.

This museum is a great place to see the rich history of Gig Harbor. It is interactive and has wonderful exhibits of all the different cultural influences. Getting to see the Shenandoah being restored and the replica of the Porpoise was a highlight of the tour. I will definitely be back to visit Gig Harbor to see more of the towns beauty. The museum is a must when you visit Gig Harbor.

It has been such a wonderful experience. From the early settlers to our current inhabitants. Going to the harbor History Museum and pulling into the parking lot you can see that there is so much pride taken in the history of the area. Located on the waterfront of the town of Gig Harbor in a picture a setting Stan's the harbor History Museum. Before walking into the door you are greeted by a statue of a fisherman with an extremely large salmon. You are greeted by a fabulous greeter and you can see and exhibit of pieces of iron from Galloping Gertie as well as walking through the door and up the staircase you will go into an area that has Native American history and then history of the early settlers as well as how people make money traded companies that were established within the area. And then you can also see pastimes and a very beautiful Shenandoah is outside and dry dock that is being redone. After you finish that exhibit you can go down into the old school house. This has been such a great experience. As our experience came to a close we entered back into the main 48 of the museum and was greeted by beautiful beautiful artwork. Thank you so much we really enjoyed it

The Harbor History Museum is quite a gem. I was impressed with how put-together the museum was. They had nicely designed exhibits and really explained the history of Gig Harbor and the surrounding area with good detail and interesting historical artifacts. There were some very interesting artifacts from when the Tacoma Narrows Bridge fell in particular. I would not hesitate to return the next time I’m in Gig Harbor.
Skansie Brothers Park and Netshed are located in the charming downtown area of Gig Harbor. The park boasts a waterfront green space that features community events such as farmers' markets and summertime concerts. It also offers an open grass area with tables on both ground level and a raised platform, providing breathtaking views of the park and water. Visitors can access the platform via stairs or elevator for accessibility purposes.
Cute little park right in old downtown Gig Harbor, pleasant and people here were friendly.

Nice open grass area with some four-person tables on ground level. Up on a raised platform are more four-person tables and a nice view of the park and water. A set of stairs will take you up to the platform level, but a convenient elevator is also available for accessibility access. A large American flag is prominent in the sitting area. There's also a dock that is nice to stroll down. Nice place for a picnic or just to breath in the clean air and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Netshed holds interesting historical artifacts from the long history of Gig Harbor as a working waterfront. On Thursdays, during summer months, a farmers' market is held on the lawn. A splash fountain is available for kids at the Jerisich Park and public dock, next door. Public bathrooms are available.

7 Seas Brewing is a microbrewery that offers an intimate taproom overlooking the production area and a beer garden surrounded by trees. The brewery has been around for some time, with its initial tap room located behind a hotel before moving to its current location by the waterfront. The new spot is breathtaking, with multiple levels of desk and lawn space, fire tables to keep warm during cold weather, great views of the harbor, and exceptional beers as usual.
This is my first time visiting this establishment and this is such a neat place. The food was amazing, and the decor fit the theme nicely. I had the beef burger and it did not disappoint.

Went for the first time and I can say one thing for sure…it’s nothing like the pictures online! No indoor bar and tables. It is all outdoors on picnic tables so if it’s hot be prepared. The beer was good, but over priced. $13 for hard cider and $10 for a solo cup of beer. The band that played was good, but would have enjoyed it more if it had a mix of some older bands too. Would not be in my top 5 for Gig Harbor.

Beautiful brewery located right on the water in Gig Harbor. They have indoor and outdoor seating (with fire pits). On a clear day, you can see Rainier! Good beer selection (a lot of IPAs). There is also a Millville Pizza Co. food truck available. Parking can be limited on a weekend or busy days so plan accordingly!

Love 7 seas! I’ve been going there from the beginning. It’s nice being back at the pricy site for a while. Even better if they would bring the personality back to their beers rather than just brewing generic beer. Rude Parrot was a thousand times better than IPA.

The 7 Seas tasting room is simply a can't-miss destination in Gig Harbor. Grab a beer (or a flight) and enjoy postcard-worthy views of the harbor with Mount Rainier hovering in the distance. Cool new spot in Gig Harbor. Good beer, good service and good vibes, but the new location has less space than the old one. Not a ton of seating inside or outside. Get there early!
Justin Dao — Google review
The staff was so helpful, friendly and the atmosphere was incredible! This is definitely one of my favorite breweries in the Tacoma area in the atmosphere is second to none! In my opinion the only thing that they needed some good burger and fries place but there is a place where you can order food next to it which is OK.
I tried all of the IPA’s and there were awesome but the one that stood out that was very different than all the others was the nomadic IPA! The best way to describe it is it was bright and just exploding with flavor, Definitely my favorite out of all their IPA’s!
Next on the list in the stout category hands-down goes to the imperial Stout which is not a surprise since it was whisky barrel aged!
Grab a friends and go enjoy this great place, Cheers!

We loved this Chalet in the Woods and the owner, what a magical visit! After shopping we sat out at the picnic table in the little pavilion with coffees and then warmed up around the outdoor fire. Found household items and gifts, exquisite tea towels and placemats, amber jewelry and note cards, and more. The book collection was amazing as well as the wearable items including uniquely knitted neck scarves. Loved seeing the sheep and the sheepdog out in their pastures near the pavilion. Arrange your appointment in advance. It is a very peaceful way to enjoy the day. Highly recommended!

Chalet in the Woods is a wonderful place to visit for Scandinavian gifts. I visited after Christmas so unbeknownst to me it was open by appointment only, however, I lucked out and there was a group of customers that had scheduled an appointment. Graciously the owner allowed me and my partner to peruse the shop as well. She was a wonderful person to talk to and was even kind enough to offer us coffee and cookies. The shop is operated out of her home but is very professionally set up. She had many Christmas ornaments, towels, flatware, books, Finnish chocolates, etc. on offer. I was also pleasantly surprised she stocked the Karl Fazer chocolates I had in Finland. I recommend visiting whenever in Gig Harbor.

I remember going to Chalet in the Woods as a kid and thought it was magic. And now, as I have a two year old boy, it is fun experience the magic through his eyes. He and I like the sheep, cats, outdoor record player and lights in the trees. My wife loves all of that too, but the sweaters have a special place in her heart. Anyway, if you haven't been to CitW yet, check it out. It's worth the drive.

This is my go to park for dog walks. Because of the way the trails are set up you can very easily tailor the length of your walking loop depending an the amount of time and or energy you have. Lots of hills to keep it interesting and my favorite, the multiple well spaced hidden oasis waypoints along the main stem of the stream that bisects the property. My boy is getting up there in years now and needs to occasionally cool his arthritic "heels" in the cool stream.
Whether you're out hiking with your favorite pup, mushroom hunting, getting your fitness on or preferably all 3 at the same time, this is one of the best places to do it on the peninsula.

Great park with several different loop options. If you take the outer loop it does follow along highway 16 for a little bit so there is some road noise.

Lots of parking (Lock your car)
The trails near the entrance are flat, however the part of the trail along the highway has extremely steep hills & barb wire on the sides. I don't recommend biking the trails alongside the highway, but the rest is very great for biking!

I enjoy this park and it seems that many other people and people’s pets do also. Be cautious where you step. There is nothing dangerous, only a bit yucky. Ha. Ha . Ha. Yes it seems that many doggy owners walk their dogs here too. Part of this park runs parallel with the express way so it might be a bit traffic noisy at times. The rest of the park is just fine. I really enjoy the perimeter trails because of the less traffic. The park even has a human port-a-potty for the two legged critters like us. I also get a laugh out of the alphabet markings, like how can a person get lost in a small area. There is a fire search and rescue department right across the park for those that need assistance.

Well maintained trail with lots of twists and turns. Even found a snake on the trail that startled my poor kid. It is a short trail but make sure you pay attention to where the trail ends. Oops. Lol. And there are some good hills, so not for those that need flat paths. I'd definitely go back. Another rate 5 tonight. Must be in the air.

Been wanting to try this trail system, it was a nice hike but the Google directions lead you right to the women's prison, so you have to turn around and head back till you see a fire station on your left and that is parking area for park, the trails were well kept not many people out, just a older couple. The trails are a nice getaway from the city parks.

Super nice morning loop walk under 2 miles. Mostly flat one big hill that you go up and back down. Counterclockwise, go right from the parking area for an easier climb. Muddy but not bad. Noticed several crisscrossing trails through the middle. If you reach the water towers, retrace your steps and take your first right to continue the loop :)
Nice little beach, there's parking, honey buckets, and just a short walk to the water. There's even a swing set and an area to sit, relax, and picnic. Beautiful view from the other side of Gig Harbor. Side note, the road o get to the beach gets a little tight so be careful.

Great park to see Rainier from! Our house was near the park so it was a great coastal walk when the tide was low. When the tide is in though there isnt much beach to walk.

Lots of vegetation, various greenery, and trees everywhere, pretty. A stones throw off of the busy downtown area’s roads. The drive is narrow and windy but short
to get there. Parking and an out house provided. Steep decline to get to a rocky beach so you need good shoes and strength, or an arm to hold onto. 🥰 I was sad to see the wooden swing is gone. It is still a nice active walk with good views and scenery. When in Season blackberries to pick as well. Fairly picked over by now Occasionally, seals can be spotted. Saw two today. 10/01/2023

Perfect gem of a beach, with beautiful views! Parking can be limited in the lot (probably enough room for 15 or so cars), so some cars were parked on the grass area. There is a porta-potty in the parking lot, along with a garbage can. The walk down is relatively short and grass covers 3/4 of the way, before it turns to gravel / sand. It was easy enough to navigate with a stroller and both 2.5 and 4.5 year old boys, walking on their own. The beach itself is a typical Washington Beach -- mostly rocky, with a little more sand closer to the waterline. But the views are gorgeous and Mount Rainier makes a wonderful backdrop, along with all the sailboats passing by. Lots of driftwood on the beach and plenty of spots providing shade. Many had chairs and blankets spread out, but there was still room for everyone and never once felt crowded or that our space was invaded. Berries all along the path between the lot and beach and the private grounds nearby even had a few deer. Would definitely come back again -- great spot for the littles!!!
Erin L. Schneider — Google review
Though I have yet to see this beach at sunrise, I can personally attest to the gorgeous views it offers at sunset. The road down to the parking lot is a scenic journey all to itself. Once you emerge from the canopy of maples and pines, you find a small but well paved parking lot. Up on the hill you'll find a plaque detailing the history of the park, which was donated by early settlers whose descendants still live in a nearby house. On the walk down to the beach, we witnessed a baby deer nursing- a first for me! The scenic, rocky beach offers views of the Port of Tacoma and Mt. Rainier. For the adventurous, there's an old handmade swing that, despite it's rickety appearance, supports adult-sized humans ; )

Basically only visited the parking area as I was supposed to be meeting a friend who decided not to show up. while I waited I cleaned out and organized my car lol But even there, the beauty of the wooded area was fantastic as well as the several deer I got to see as well. Maintenance came by to empty trash and do toilet paper in the porta potty and even asked if I had garbage in my car to get rid of. (How nice very sweet guys!)

Loved this little beach that looks over the water to Commencement Bay. Was a partly cloudy day and no pictures of Mnt. Rainier but was still able to get some shots of the Narrows Bridge and Ruston waterfront along with the Point Defiance Ferry Terminal with the HD camera (no HD pics here as of posting). Walked the whole length of the beach and took about 20 to 30 minutes. Portable toilet on site. If you're in the Gig Harbor area, it's for sure worth a visit.

Cute little nature walk with overlook by creek. Natural climbing and play elements. Park is mostly fenced /hedged in. Playground area is fully fenced in to keep kiddos safe from wandering off. Several tables / benches for parents while kids play.Good parking, EXCEPT for when there is little league at the fields nearby (usually only an issue after 4pm). Feels very clean, homey, and safe for the family. Absolutely ZERO vagrant / homeless presence anywhere at or near this park.

We love this park. It has a sand box and toys, a giant boat the kids can play on, a swing set and playground, and a picnic area. It also has a bathroom and water fountains.

A nicely wooded city park next to a marsh/small inlet. There are picnic sites with tables. A very basic playground for younger kids. Restrooms onsite. No camping. Baseball field, tennis and basketball areas.

Wet Coast Brewing Company is a brewery located in Tacoma, Washington that specializes in producing high-quality craft beer. They are inspired by the prohibition era, which created a need for brewers to stay open despite the Volstead Act. The brewery has a taproom that is located across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge from Gig Harbor.
Great spot with great beer. Staff is pleasant and fun to chat with. I'm not a huge IPA fan and they carry several Ales and ciders as well. The Hi-Jack! is my new go-to. I believe they also serve wine. Hoping they do the Festbier again sometime🤙🏽

This was our first visit to Wet Coast Brewing. It's located in a small strip mall just seconds off of Hwy 16. It was a quiet weekday afternoon.
Our first impression was that it was very clean and organized.
The bartender Jas (sp?) had a good personality and was very welcoming and appreciative. Always a good start!
Unfortunately, there were patrons with their dogs sitting inside. Dont get me wrong, I love dogs, I have three, but I don't think they belong indoors in public places. Especially restaurants, breweries, or any public place where food or beverages are served. I'll never understand why some people feel the need to take them everywhere they go!
Another patron asked if he could bring his dog inside. The bartender respectfully and politely explained that they really don't normally allow pets inside.
So I'll let that issue rest.
I wish I could remember the name of the specific beer I had, because I really enjoyed it. It, along with a few other of their creations, are available canned in a cooler ready for people on the go.
I look forward to another visit to Wet Coast.

Wet coast is always a great place to stop off at. Even right off the freeway its peaceful and relaxing there. This has been the first time I've been there since the expansion. Definitely a great upgrade. I had the moving day and it was a very good ipa.

Great beer selection. Second time my husband and I have gone. It's very laid-back, friendly staff. There is only nuts and chips to purchase, but you can bring in some of you want. We biked over from Tacoma, stopped there for a beer and a rest before biking home. We'll definitely do that again.

This place is great. They support many local causes and Brew great beer. With the new extra room they will be issuing this helps out even more. Be sure to try out their tasty drinks and come down for a good time.

I LOVE their beer. I have been here more times than I can count, filled numerous growlers... one of my favorites. They usually have 6-8 solid beers, great mix of hazy ipas, pales, stouts, red ale, and a cider. The beer I’m having today is called Line Jumper. It’s a hazy IPA with 5.5 abv, and 50 IBU. Very drinkable IPA, perfect for summer.
Also, consistently has a relaxed atmosphere. No food or food trucks, but you can easily get food nearby and bring it in. Bartenders are also great, very friendly and accommodating.

Our favorite location for a beer or two and friendly faces. Bring your own lunch or snacks and enjoy top quality craft beers with delightful names (i.e., Pink Boots). Highly recommended.

Pretty good brewery. We were able to walk here from the Best Western hotel which was a major plus. We enjoyed our beer.
Donkey Creek Park is a small yet enjoyable green space situated in downtown Gig Harbor. It features a salmon-bearing stream, benches, restrooms, viewing platforms and a walking trail which loops around the museum and leads to a waterfront access point. The park's grassy area provides an ideal spot for picnics. It is suitable for families with young children as the trails are not too long or challenging.
Extremely neat park, beware parking on the street, lots of break ins.

Big green grass field, 1.3 acre natural area with benches, and a restroom. There's a gravel trail that winds behind the Harbor History Museum...and ends up at Austin Park. There isn't a playground but plenty to do and see, plus some nice shops across the street.
Wildcraft Rose — Google review
The park had an interesting smell. Not sure what it was, but not pleasant. Restrooms were clean enough. We did not take the trail, but suspect coming back uphill with loose gravel could have been a challenge for someone not totally stable on their feet.

A nice grassy park with a nearby creek and a short trail that takes you under a bridge, and behind the museum. You can see a historical school building and some of the restoration work being done on the M.V. Shenandoah. The park itself has restrooms, is kid and pet friendly, and is a good spot for a family picnic.

This was an unexpected creekside green space that was very relaxing. I bought takeout and ate it from a bench and had a very enjoyable visit.

This is a fun little park with access to a stream leading to the harbor. Follow the trail and it loops under the bridge, around the museum to little waterfront access point and then to the road which brings you back to the park. It’s a nice place to explore. The grassy area is great for picnics.

This one is a tiny little park located in DT Gig Harbor. The walking trail is small and is a perfect little outing for families with little kids. The trails snake around the Creek. This place is in close proximity to a bunch of restaurants. Do visit if you are in this area.

Convenient store location with stop for: gas, cannabis meds (when I had a stroke), a safe in and out using their two wide driveways connecting with hwy 302.

Beautiful place to communicate with Nature at it’s best. A creek with Salmon runs through the park. Pretty hand carved benches 🚶♀️🏃🏻♀️🌲🌳🍃

I can recommend this park as a good rendezvous place if you're meeting up with some people especially during a weekend festival. You will notice how incredibly busy this row of Marinas are... except when you get to this part it's not as busy and it was easy to find parking and to walk out to the water where you will find picnic tables and a totem pole. Entrance to that path is just beyond the restrooms where there are some helpful large maps fixed on the side of the building. This would also be a good spot for frisbee. Easy parking along the one way street at the curve. Ring the bell to honor the local salmon!

Love this park - short and sweet - dogs smell-topia!
Love coming here for peaceful walks, easy to get lost in the beauty of the nature!
MrKingluke663 — Google review
There's no playground or restroom here, but this bit of nature is still family-friendly with flat walking, fallen tree trunks to balance on and at least one man-made stickfort. I heard there’s an old homestead foundation to explore but we haven't found it yet. A couple of downsides: exposed tree roots on the trails are easy to trip over on a dark and dreary day and it's surprisingly easy to get turned around within the little trail system here.

Took a quick stroll through this park. Its very wooded but close to the roads and I assume peoples backyards? Will have to re visit to give full review. But worth seeing. :)

Wonderful to have this patch of woods to enjoy, especially with so much development in the area. Thanks to whoever drew and posted maps... though it isn't big enough to get too badly lost if you want to wing it.

Nice local park. Best part was the painted rocks hidden along the trails and in the trees. Kids loved looking for them. Must have seen at least 10 of them! Parking is limited. Worth the trip.

Pretty nice park, needs official trail maps, but thanks to whoever made some laminated ones to guide you.

I stop by this park often to take a break when driving. It's a it's peaceful, some what quiet(although it's on a busy main-ish road.)...
Will for sure return.
One complaint is the parking area is full of muddy, potholes.
They have a new very well, maintained sign out front on this main road and the parking area straight up looks like( let me be frank), $**T...
I really enjoy taking time out to, walk the trails. Even if it is for 10-15 minutes.
The foliage, and the wildlife makes for a relaxing lunch break .
Will make certain to return when in the area.
And will recommend to the public looking for a relaxing lunch break, in the area.
My apologies.. there is no picnic area.. I don't want to be misleading.. there is no place other than your vehicle to sit down and eat. Possibly that might be an area for improvement.
Nicole Newhart — Google review
The trails are somewhat narrow. Plenty of parking.
I enjoy taking my dog for walks on the trails. I just wish everyone would clean up after their dogs. There are bags supplied at the entrance to the trails right next to the garbage can. No excuse for it.

Adorable flower farm with every kind of apple you could imagine! You pick dahlias that are gorgeous! Make sure to bring transportation containers after you pick your flowers with their pre measured containers. There are 3 giant fields of dahlias around the property with every color any type you could want! The field behind the garage facing the house is her PERSONAL garden. Plan for at least an hour or two if your picking. Season lasts until the first frost usually. So there is still time! Posted is a pic of the rules on a yellow sign.

Beautiful flowers for very inexpensive prices. Stopped by on a Saturday and bought a big bouquet of dahlias and two plants to plant at home. The owner came out to see if we needed help or had any questions, they were very friendly and knowledgeable about the plants. Will definitely be back soon! Bonus: very sweet dog greeted us as well.

Delicious and the variety of apples is amazing. Weigh your choices and pay by the honor system. I also love your mosaics. Thank u for being on the garden tour 2 yrs ago, I would have never known you're right up the street from Costco!

After starting my own Orchard with 50+ varieties I stumbled across Butler Orchards one day. It was so great to be able to have a sneak peak of some of the flavors I will be able to expect and have already made plans to expand my Orchard with another 100 varieties next year. This place is truly inspiring!

Nice park. Good restrooms as well as an elevator from street side to lower level. Much larger that you think. Love the picnic tables which are plentiful on your level and one in the distance on the pier. Hopefully the planned use for canoe and kayak use will soon occur. I'm not sure how the net shed will be used. Access to water a bit steep on the staircase provided. Hopefully a sloped pathway will be developed. All in all a nice park.

Nice view and less crowded than other Gig Harbor waterfront picnic spots. Nice restrooms on the lower level, too. Tables are still pretty close to the road and sidewalk...
