I admire how passionate and caring the staff are and how well-organized the shelter is. I wish more people would visit and support this wonderful place. It's definitely worth a visit when coming to Lanai!

Such an inspiring sanctuary to visit, doing great work
The cats are clearly well looked after and happy with life. Especially the seniors
Bring cat treats snd they will love you for it 😻
Good parking on site. Turn off the tarmac road just past the airport is better signed now
Highly recommended

Take your vision of a Crazy Cat Lady that has 125 cats living in her house which you can smell from the curb, the one day she dies and the cats eat her . . . And throw that out.
This place is superbly organized and really does provide a humane beautiful wild but safe place for these forgotten and neglected furry friends to live out their days in equity and a perpetual trail of love, brushings, and treats from the visitors stopping in ... and just 5 minutes from the airport. Take a couple hours to spread a little love and receive some purrs in return.

Such a great experience! There were so many sweethearts out there. I got some of their names but not all of them.
I love their mission and hope I get to go back one day!
The Mike Carroll Gallery is a place where visitors can admire beautiful art created by talented artists. The gallery offers a variety of exquisite artwork including stunning prints, framed paintings and sculptures. Transactions made at the gallery are given great care and thought to ensure customer satisfaction. Mike Carroll, who is a skilled artist himself, runs the gallery with great hospitality towards all its visitors. The experience at the Mike Carroll Gallery is one that should not be missed by anyone looking to appreciate fine art.
Mike and Kathy are some of the most pleasant people, taking time to really visit and share experiences as well as explain some of the finer details and stories of the beautiful art in their gallery!
I would visit Lanai just to go to their place!
Mike is a wonderful artist as are the many artists whose work they carry.
Every transaction is given great care and thought, they even hand delivered the beautifully Koa wood framed print we purchased to our hotel with a thank you card!

I visited in 2012 while I lived in Oahu and loved it. Mike is super nice and cruise and I love his work. I also liked how they also sell shirts that support the local animal rescue.

If all art gallery experiences were like this, we would have a lot more support for the arts! Thoroughly enjoyed the art, ambience, interaction and stories. Wish that I could return.
A must-do on any visit to Lanai.

Pleasant communication with this gallery. Beautiful items available. Shipping time was adequate (3-4days) but the cost seemed on the high side given it was inter-island and items were very small and light (1lb or less). Maybe this is just standard shipping cost for any parcels from Lanai no matter where it’s being sent to as I don’t know the postal situation there, but $35 still seemed very high. Although I really like what they have to offer and the customer service, the shipping costs will likely deter me from ordering more in the future.

My wife and I are so lucky to have gotten a chance to experience Mike and his wife's beautiful gallery. They are both fantastic people and are a perfect representation of the Lāna'i experience: down to earth and in touch with the things that truly matter!
The Lānaʻi Culture & Heritage Center is a small museum that features exhibits and events related to the history and traditional culture of Lānaʻi. It showcases photographs and timelines detailing the island's transition into becoming the world's primary pineapple supplier, as well as providing insight into the lives of workers who planted up to 10,000 new pineapple plants per day. The center also contains artifacts and artwork, including a handmade quilt.
Lana'i Culture and Heritage Center is a great experience for tourists who thirst for a knowledge and history of the island. The Dole story is very unique and worth the visit itself.

Great little museum. Not to be missed if you are in Lanai City. Staff were super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I worked the pineapple fields on Lanai 40 years ago, telling them that opened them up and they showed me an extra video.

Stunning display. The history of Lāna'i is highlighted and celebrated with such amazingly quality. The exhibits are informative and extremely intriguing. The Museum Guide Shelly was highly educated and even took the time to explain the designs on the t-shirt we bought as it related to the island's history. A quaint part of the island where you are able to merge the cultural value of the center with your visit to the island. Mahalo!

Rented a jeep Rubicon from Cheap Jeep and couldn't be happier. Called the night before and they were able to get us a vehicle and arranged us pickup. When we landed at Lanai, the shuttle driver picked us up and took us straight there. They gave us great advice for where to go, provided a map, and directions. The vehicle itself was great. Would definitely use again.

Had a great experience with Lanai Cheap Jeeps in June, 2022. Jim made the process easy, helped with the shuttle from the ferry, and gave awesome suggestions for spots to check out. The Jeep was in great shape and set-up appropriately for the conditions. Thanks again!

Gail was great. Got us a last minute booking and even went out of her way to make sure we got to our ferry on time after a mix up with transportation back to the docks. If we ever get back to Lana’i we’ll be renting from them again.

Great experience. Getting all information about where to go or not depending on road conditions. Went to Shipwreck beach with this JEEP no problem! I recommend to take the first ferry to have time to enjoy .

If you visit Lanai and plan on doing anything outside of town you will need a Jeep. LCJ is one of only a couple places in town. The owner will meet you at the harbor and drive you up to town where the rental details will be finalized. Gas up the Jeep at the only station in town before they close. At the end of your trip, you will then have to arrange a shuttle from town, back to the harbor for $10. This is a locally owned company and you should treat their Jeeps as you would your own car--practice Aloha and don't abuse them! Being a local company means you will get firsthand service and communication from the owner who is extremely helpful and kind. Enjoy Lanai and tread lightly!

So glad we went with Lanai Cheap Jeeps! When I called to make a reservation, the guy was very friendly and gave me all kinds of ideas for our family. He even gave me numbers to contact for transportation from the Ferry to the Jeep rental. When we arrived he gave us ideas for our 20 year olds and us in our 60's. We had a wonderful time! The jeep was big for 5 of us and very nice and clean! (At least when we started out, ha!). He told us the places that were open to eat and shop as well if we were interested. Would definitely rent a jeep from here again! Thanks for a great day on Lanai!

We took a day trip to Lanai from Maui and rented from Ms. Gail gave us a great run down of the town and where we could go and what roads would be closed. The jeep was in great condition and very nice.

Stop in here, you won't regret it! Not only does this place sell various local artists, but the prices are great! So you get to support the community without breaking the bank! If you're lucky you'll come in and meet an artist working away, when we came we meet Alberta and she is so talented! The staff are friendly and helpful and they even have a little place to hang out inside and out front in case you're too hot, or it's raining! Everyone stop's to see Mike Carroll, but you'd be missing out if you didn't come here as well!!
