Beautiful facility! Phenomenal acoustics! There really is no bad seat in the house and the people who are working the various events are so helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous.

A hidden gem in Central Oklahoma. Saw Celtic Throne as they began their 2023 tour. A premier venue for musical concerts. The venue is beautiful with comfortable seats and amazing acoustics. Staff is super friendly and willing to assist. A definite must for musical performances .

Wonderful venue. Beautiful architecture, and great sound. Attended the Glenn Miller Orchestra presentation, and it rocked. Attended two (2) other shows (Ray Chen and Irish dancers). Perfect productions. Have updated, and increased my season tickets. You can't go wrong with Armstrong Auditorium.

Loved it. Had an exhibit bringing rare Bible artifacts to be seen by Oklahoman's...Skip the religious reference if you do not believe! The artifacts are still rare examples of very old ancient civilizations.
There was no cost or any asking or place where you could put a donation. I did ask ...and gave a small amount and may mail in more money donation. This is rare for an exhibition or museum not to have a place for donations where such significant things are being displayed.
This exhibit dealt Seals Isaiah and Hezekiah. It goes til Aug. 19, 2018

A very wonderful place to be. I 100% recommend coming here for a concert or an event. It is very beautiful and the staff very hard working and happy. This is one of the nicest places I've ever been.

Absolutely the best show I have ever seen. The lighting was incredible along with the talent on the stage. The venue was marvelous as soon as you walked through the doors. The audience was very involved, clapping to the songs! The audience even stood up to clap after a couple performances. I would go see it again tomorrow if there was another show :)

I thoroughly enjoyed The Celtic Throne. The dancers and musicians were outstanding and the music and light show were exception. The grounds of the auditorium are gorgeous and well kept. The art inside is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. I intend to attend more events in the future. It was throughly enjoyable from start to finish. I highly recommend this venue!

As a teen I watched all of the old musical movies with Big Band music. The Glen Miller Band with "In The Mood" has always been my favorite. Last night at the Armstrong Auditorium with the Glen Miller Band was wonderful. The only thing missing was the dance floor. Thank you for the opportunity to cross off on my bucket list, my live big band experience. I loved it! 5 stars!

Incredible!! Such sharp, dramatic choreography. Such showmanship--every single person right down to the little peeps! We could tell they were having fun. I really loved how Jude explained about the family connections. Wow! The patriotic songs were also very stirring, and many in the audience gave them a standing ovation. It was so professional and somehow it just keeps getting better! How is that possible?! I'll be back next week!

My wife and I saw the Glenn Miller Orchestra Thursday, April 4th at Armstrong. It was our first time with this orchestra and at this venue. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend both. The auditorium is beautiful throughout and the three giant chandeliers are beyond words. The orchestra was nothing short of outstanding and the musical selections were excellent. The only issue was that it was difficult to hear vocals due to the volume of the instruments. This was not a major issue and would not stop me from coming back. Overall it was still a great 5-star experience.

Our first time to visit this auditorium, and we were not disappointed! Beautiful facility and the acoustics were great for performances. We saw the Celtic Throne, and the talent of these young adults and kids was amazing. Plenty of informed staff to help with doors, directions, history and parking. Small parking lots but the staff moved traffic in and out safely and quickly.

Had a wonderful evening at the Armstrong with my husband last night. The staff were all very helpful and kind. The venue is in a class by itself, and I don’t think there is a bad seat in the house. The only thing that I thought was a bit off was that the stage floor was extra dusty. But on a final note (pun intended) getting to hear the Hamburg Steinway again was such a treat. Such a joy to see a 26-year-old play it so brilliantly.
This park is well-maintained and includes a volleyball court, small fishing pond, trails and playgrounds as well as grassy areas. It's a great place to go for a run or walk, and the tulips that start to bloom in the spring are beautiful.
I hadn't been here since 1996 and though much has changed, it's all for the better. Great paved walk though the woods, several very nice park areas for children, half a dozen or so pavilions, a pond with 100's of ducks, a nice little workout area for adults & a good amount of parking. I've been going lately several times a week & it is a great place to get some exercise in. Always excited to get out & explore nature at Hafer park!

So many spots to choose from to play on! So much fun for the kids! A path to walk around the entire park, there is also a public restroom too, don't expect anything of that. A climbing wall, a pavilion to rent out, lots of benches to sit and watch & we really liked the trees and all the shade as well! Such a nice area to take your kids, go have a picnic or even hanging your hammock in the tree and enjoying the breeze! Go check it out!

Great local park with several playgrounds all throughout the property. Some playgrounds are better for older kids and some are better for younger. There is also a really nice walking/biking trail with lots of shade from the trees that goes all throughout this park. There is also a pond with lots of water fowl. There are several covered seating areas throughout this park, as well as restrooms. Great area to get outside and enjoy the sunshine on a beautiful day. I also see a lot of family photo shoots happening here amongst the trees. One of the playground equipment sets is newer than all of the others and it’s my kids favorite one to play on. 10/10 Great local park with lots of options for everyone in the family.

This place has quickly become a family favorite. There are plenty of different park areas, a huge rock climbing wall, covered areas to relax and eat. There are outlets all around, which is extremely convenient. There are water fountains with jug fillers that shoot tons of water out down low so you could easily fill a dog bowl or a jug if you will 😁. Heated restrooms and everything. We LOVE this park. Its a great place to run, walk, or go for a Pick Nick. Usually pretty packed unless you go during the week, or early but its a beautiful spot. Highly recommend if you're in the area

The Mitch Park YMCA is a great place for youth in the Edmond area. It has a nice pool, basketball court, and disc golf course.
A great place to swim, work out, and run. The facilities are very nice. There are also great trails in park all around for walking, hiking running, and biking. We enjoy picking blackberries and sand plums here as well. Our dogs love it here too!

Everyone is friendly. We came there mostly because of the leisure pool. The pool is nice, but we need more free family swimming time in the schedule, please. Another thing, for safety reason, your kids have to use the vest unless they pass the swimming test.
Yanthi Brihtsanthi — Google review
The facilities are top notch, very clean and so many options available. Two story water slide, slash zone, pools, basketball court, indoor track and a few studio rooms. Pricing sheet available at the front desk, includes sports leagues and locations of other YMCAs in OKC.
My only complaint was Steve working at the front desk. Wasn't greeted, and no one was checking as members scanned in. Steve let us know and the others waiting, he was working on a project and would be with us in a moment multiple times as he sat at the other computer. Anyone could walk in without checking in, after five mins I realized I could just walk around and check out the facilities instead of waiting to ask Steve if we could have a walk around. The second person was back to work the desk by the time we left.
That being said the other staff we encountered were very helpful. Most information was posted on boards around the facilities.

Nice place to learn a few things and get rid of that belly. The organization that makes financial decisions here are not the smartest, seems like they like to waste money.

The staff is great and friendly, but that is the only nice thing about this place. The pool is completely blocked for lessons and swim leagues. You probably get one hour a day max to swim. The gym equipment is packed in a corner and it's always super busy.

They don't uphold some pretty basic tenets of their Mission and Cause statements. I have a wonderful funny, and bubbly little girl who has some slight emotional problems during transitions. Instead of working with us and her to help, they did absolutely nothing and ended up kicking her out after only about 5 total hours of Summer Camp over two days. Their Mission and Cause statement are a complete contradiction to the Christian way and how they operate. Simply pathetic...
Our Mission
To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
Our Cause
At the Y, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure everyone, regardless of age, income, or background has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.

Mitch park is super clean and has a good amount of stuff to do!
There's a YMCA located at the front of the park, several pavilions and picnic tables plus a park for kids to play, walking trails, places to play disc golf or several other sports like baseball. The city keeps the park quite clean and offers pavilion rentals which are great for parties and get-togethers. Overall a great place to spend the day!

Today was my first visit to the YMCA with my Silver Sneakers membership. I had a very pleasant experience with the gentleman at the registration desk. He told me where to find the ladies locker room for the pool. I went to the pool and sat on the steps of the pool in front of the sunny glass windows. So peaceful after all this cold weather and cabin fever. A minute or two later a young female lifeguard came over and told me I had to leave. They had a swim lesson across the other side of the building in a separate pool. She said I could not do the pool walk. I replied I was just going to sit on the steps and enjoy the sun. She went and got her supervisor- another lifeguard. I think his name was Canyon. He told me I had to get out. He said I could not expect to be able to come to the pool whenever I wanted. I said no one is in the pool. He told me to leave or he would have to call the police. As I was leaving he ran up to me in the lap pool area and yelled that I wasn’t allowed in there and the coaches would be angry. I asked how he expected me to walk back to the ladies locker room where my belongings were? He was such a jerk. Bad first experience for what I felt was going to be relaxing!! He clearly had no respect for me at all… I am 69.

We have a family membership here, plus we have a personal trainer. It seems as if they have a culture of lazy or complacent employees. Half the time, they do not even look up when you are checking in. They have been less than useful more than a few times. We have had multiple issues with the childcare as well. Honestly, though, the main reason we don't leave is because we LOVE our personal trainer.

I joined and thought I could swim regularly. Frequently the pool is closed to its members and booked for other activities. The free weight area is usually crowded. I just could not get the workout I wanted due to overcrowding and closures on holidays. Limited hours on the weekends when I have the most free time.

The lifeguards are very rude and expect unrealistic expectations. They are disrespectful and disregard any thing that would otherwise be understood. They went as far as causing an anxiety attack with no interest in my explanation that then resulted in an asthma attack. We came there to get away from the cruelty and instead was met by someone who was obviously better and knew more. Heed the other comments. I'm sure there other areas are great but they need to rethink their ugly staff which I'm not referring to physical looks, but go to lifetime or another YMCA for swimming. Changing rooms were nasty anyways.

My daughter has asthma, and the lifeguard refused to give her a break after making her tread water for over a minute, so she started having an asthma attack for the 2nd part of her test, which was making her swim the entire length of the pool. We left immediately, and they refused to refund me my money. Take your kids to lifetime. Stay clear of ymca.

I’m a current customer and while the outdoor area is amazing, indoor is terrible!
I received conflicting information about Child Watch when I signed up and was told my special needs child would be okay to use child watch. Instead a young Caucasian girl (brown hair) in child watch on 11-26 at 2:35pm asked my son how old he was and then told me my son had to sit outside. Their “kid area” is literally on the opposite wall (with doors closed) in an open area.
For all parents reading this, your kid can only use child watch if they are 3-7 years old. Thats it. LMAO! So your 8 year old will just have to be on their own or it’s up to you parents to figure it out.
If that was the case I would have rather signed up for another recreational facility. What a waste of money.
No worries if you’re child free, then you might not even care. But if you have kids, just stick to their YMCA sports seasonal programs. The actual indoor incentives the facility offers are pretty much trash. Save your money!!!! The public has to pretty much almost search the dark web just to find their child watch HOURS. Man..just use their outside stuff and tracks and trails. You’ll be wayyyy LESS disappointed. It’s my fault for placing an Edmond location on a pedestal.
The ONLY plus (in my opinion, why I gave 2 stars instead of 1) is their indoor pool, which other places also have too, so don’t feel stuck with this being your only option with indoor swimming.
I will be canceling my entire family membership and I’d rather utilize the new Willa D Johnson facility in OKC.
The picture is the person the front desk told me is over the child watch program, shoot your questions to them if you want more info.
Clauren Ridge Vineyard and Winery offers an unparalleled wine tasting experience in Oklahoma. The winery stands out for its care and passion put into each tasting, with a beautifully decorated veranda and patio overlooking the hill country. It's ranked fourth among Edmond's best places to visit, making it a must-see spot when visiting the city. Located just outside of Oklahoma City, it's easily accessible from central Oklahoma.

Clauren Ridge is our favorite winery in Oklahoma! The wine is delicious, we love the relaxing vibe, the food is great, and we love the wine cellar! I also got married here and the staff at Clauren Ridge took care of everything! All of our guests loved the winery and continually talked about how romantic and unique our wedding was. I cannot recommend this venue enough...Kim and her staff went above and beyond to make this a very stress-free, easy experience! As others have mentioned, so much is included in the wedding package here, which I loved, as I didn't have to plan/coordinate every single detail. They are true professionals here, and while they do many weddings, we felt treated so special--that's how amazing they are! I received many compliments from my guests about how beautiful and clean the venue was and how awesome the staff was. I truly couldn't have imagined a more perfect wedding day--thank you, Kim and Clauren Ridge, for helping make it a reality!

Clauren Ridge was the perfect venue for our daughter's wedding. The flexibility to move the ceremony indoors to escape the 104 degree heat was a lifesaver. Morgan, Lauren and the entire staff were very accommodating at every turn with Lauren even helping to salvage a cake that didn't agree with the heat. The venue was large enough to not feel crowded, yet maintained an intimate atmosphere. I cannot recommend it enough! First rate and completely stress-free!

Clauren Ridge was the best place I could have chosen for my wedding. It was truly perfect! Kim and her staff are just the best and they help with everything. I had a very small, intimate wedding with only about 20 guests. I had wanted to have it outside but due to forecasted weather I decided that morning to have it indoors. It turned out just as beautiful though. I didn't really have to think of anything as Kim and her staff handled so much and even thought of things I wouldn't have. I loved not having to worry about setup or cleanup or what tablecloths I should have. This is the best place for those who don't want to think about all the wedding details. The setting was beautiful, the staff was so friendly (Lauren was especially awesome!), the drinks were great and everyone had a great time. Everything went so smoothly and my husband and I had a blast. If you want an easy wedding that you can truly just enjoy I highly recommend you choose Clauren Ridge as your venue and Serendipity Nuptials for your officiant (and DJ if you can afford to) and The Photo Poet as your photographer. They all worked wonderfully together and I couldn't have asked for a better night. Thank you Kim and staff for creating such a wonderful night! I look forward to celebrating anniversaries there in the future :)

We spent a good hour here before the kids got bored, 8&5. I think younger kids/toddlers would love it longer. We brought lunch and ate in the park, right outside the museum and that was our afternoon. They also do alot of things throughout the year for the kids. Will return.

Great for indoor playtime with young kids! They have a cute little Western town set up as a play area with toys, dress-up and props for play acting. We've spent hours and hours here over the last few years. It's both conveniently close and free (although we like to leave a donation here and there to show our appreciation). I don't know if it would keep older kids engaged, but we regularly run into others with kids five and under.

This lake and just like most lakes are run by communist. You buy a fishing license which money from the purchase of fishing license is supposed to go to help stock fish and for the upkeep of parks in Oklahoma, but yet you have to pay to go to the parks in Oklahoma to park and fish. Who ever is in charge of this have to be involved with the democratic party. Oklahoma is NOT a conservative state, they are dressed up like Republicans but underneath they are COMMUNIST. If you have to pay to fish, then why do we need to buy a fishing license. Stop the communism in Oklahoma

While the camping spot we had was beautiful I noticed A LOT of sick deer within the park. Their ears so covered in ticks that they couldn't move them. A baby with an infected eye and multiple deer that were extremely skinny. I witnessed sick and injured squirrels as well. The water has just become filthy.
Staff harassed us about our dogs being off leash when they remained on tieouts the entire time we were there. They never once roamed off leash yet, we had little dogs from other campsites walking up to us multiple times. No leash, no owner. The owner only called them back once they noticed them missing.
They tried to get onto us for our dogs barking but they only barked when other dogs were also barking. They also never made a sound during quiet hours.
We were harassed by other guests at the lake continuously asking when we were leaving so they could take the spot we were in. I stayed there for 5 days paying $30 a night and was very disappointed with how we were treated. I grew up coming to this lake but I don't believe we will be coming back.

Unpluggits Paint & Play is a studio designed for children to unleash their creativity through ceramic and craft painting. Kids from 18 months to 10 years old can enjoy activities like squishing playdough, painting ceramics, creating chalk drawings, and sketching and painting on kid-friendly easels. The studio is staffed with helpful and kind employees, making it a great place for kids to play and create in a clean environment.
Great place for your kids. Toddlers to teenagers will enjoy it. There is a small indoor playground with a small section for babies and toddlers, it's also gated. The rest of the facility is full of activity tables where kids can play with paint and other crafts. Such as play doh or ceramics. You pay for the item you want to paint on. And it varies from $5 and up but with that they will give you your choice of paintbrush and your choice of colors in paint. There is no limit on how many little paint containers to get. And if they don't have the color they will get you the color you want. If you don't get a chance to finish up they will give you a bag to take home. It's great service! Friendly people and super flexible. Super recommend especially in these indoor days.

Me and my girls love this place! They have $8 all you can play, you can bring your own food and drinks and choose whatever ceramic to paint and they come out beautiful. The staff is so friendly and helpful they make it even more enjoyable. They have room you can reserve for parties and adult nights!
Highly recommended for the crafty heart.

This is a great place to take kids to play and create. The staff is very helpful and kind and it is very clean! There is so much to do, like play on the slides, play with magnets, and paint. Great great place!

My kids absolutely love going here. Its a great place to be creative. I love the fact they have a paint and play place, so while one kid could be painting, the other could be in the playplace. Its a place that really encompasses being a kid and letting your creative juices flow. I highly recommend!

The experience was great the lady was very helpful during the class. The only thing that was kinda a set back was one of the women at the front desk was less than friendly and seemed really annoyed we were asking questions. Other than that the rest of the staff and place was great my 5 year old and 18 month old loved it!

The place was nice and clean. Staff was kind and courteous. Price to play was cheap for kids and no cost for adults. We didn't paint any figurines, so I don't know the cost for that. They have 2 or 3 party rooms. The kids enjoyed themselves there were other things you could do. The time we spent and the coat, it was worth it.

This place is a crafty mom's dream!
Kids of all ages will have fun. My 2 year old loved the playground, giant 4 square, and train table. Playing is a separate cost from the crafts, so you dont have to worry about having to paint if your little isn't in the mood. He had a blast getting tired on the playground before relaxing with some paint! We will definitely be back!

I took my 4 year old daughter there for the first time for her birthday, and she had such a blast! They were so friendly and helpful as well. She painted pottery but also spent most of the time just playing in the large playspace. The playspace has so many options for toddlers and bigger kiddos including air hockey. We definitely plan to go back with our whole family!

Cool place friends birthday party. New to me I have never heard of this place. I was thrilled to come here and find a new experience and option for kiddos. One of the staff a dark haired girl was a little on the grumpy side and seemed more focused on closing and rushing everyone out than having satisfied customers. She wasn't super rude or anything, but she could have been a little kinder to the kids and more patient. All in all seemed great!

If you’re wondering if this place is worth it, that answer is an easy yes! We enjoy coming here often. The kids are able to enjoy playing in their indoor playground and becoming little painters!
It’s also a wonderful place to go for a girls night and paint some ceramics 😍

My sister and I had the best time painting ceramic Christmas trees. All the staff were extremely helpful and patient as we asked them lots of questions. We can't wait to see our finished products as these Christmas trees brought back cherished childhood memories. I plan to go back and paint a state of Oklahoma ornament.

Great place for kids! Kids may choose do do artwork, play at hands on tables, or play on the awesome indoor playground. My grand loved it!
Pelican Bay Aquatic Center in Edmonds is a popular spot for locals to enjoy the sun and water. The leisure pool features two 150-foot water slides, diving boards, a slide splash pool, a current channel, and a climbing wall. It's a state-of-the-art facility that offers plenty of fun activities for visitors on hot summer days.
It gets packed so get there early for seats and time to enjoy. Also, the food options could be better so don’t expect too much but overall it’s an enjoyable time. I’ve stayed all day from open to close before because the kids just didn’t want to leave.

We had an opportunity to give this public pool a try and it did not disappoint for the price we paid! From multiple depths for all ages and abilities to the slides and lazy river this is a great place to spend some time. Their website does need updating a bit such as prices and menu options. When we went on a Sunday they were out of a handful of items at their cafe but it was still helped temporarily fill our bellies. We will definitely be back in the future.

Took the family here and it was a great choice. Very affordable! 2 adults and 3 kids for less than $40. Everyone had a blast! Not over crowded and enough to keep you busy for a few hours. Kids loved it and are already asking to go back.

Very nice public pool. I ended up getting a season pass because my grandkids are under 3 so they are both free to get in. On Tuesday and Thursday they have an extended time from 7-9 pm so with my pass I don't feel like I have fo spend awhile day there and with a 3-year-old 2 hours is more than enough. I especially like the evening so I don't have to worry about sunburns either. The staff are friendly and there are plenty of lifeguards and monitors making sure everyone is playing nice and staying safe. I love the large beach entry and play area for the little ones. Many places have such a small are that little guys can touch and actually feel like they can swim. It has really boosted his confidence in the water. It's also nice for me to be able to sit in the water and keep an eye on him without getting super hot. The restrooms are large and clean as well. I think they have a new manager in the last year or so and she seems to really be on top of things.
They did paint the lazy river yellow which was not a good choice as it looks to me like a river full of pee now. They also have taken out the diving boards. The parking lot is pretty small and parking can be a little difficult if you don't time things right. I think the snack bar is pretty decent but a wee bit pricey especially since you can't bring your own water inside.
The positives out number the few things that are negative though and since we live so close and the kids love it there, it will be a regular hangout this summer.

It’s a nice place to spend great time with your family and kids in the summer..
Tickets are 8$/each.. which is good..
Safe guards are everywhere..
The only thing that stopped me from giving 5 stars is the restrooms, they were not clean.

Really nice splash pad and pool for families! We loved the pool and the lazy river! The zero entry was perfect with the water playground too! The life guards did a great job watching out for the kids and being very attentive.
The snack bar had a variety of snacks and drinks you would expect to see and they were reasonably priced.
My only reason for not giving it 5 stars was for the lack of shaded seats. It was 105 the day we went and there were only two open chairs in the sun and under a wasp nest. Reluctantly, we posted up there. I would recommend more seats with shade PLEASE! This girl got a horrible headache and couldn't get comfortable.

I grew up coming here and enjoyed it every time. I decided to come back as adult but looked up what they had now to make sure the kids would have fun. The website claimed they had a rock wall and diving boards. I remembered the rock wall growing up but not the diving boards. When we showed up, there was no rock wall which what we were most excited for. No diving boards as well. It does have a 12ft pool, splash zone for littles, slides and a lazy river with a whirl pool connected. It was still a good experience. I just think they need something else for the 12ft pool. I hope they make updates in the future. So far, I don't think we will come back for a bit.

For $8 you DEFINITELY get your moneys worth! I had a ball! Wasn’t overly crowded. Took one star off because the concession stand was literally out of everything except hot dogs & pickles. They didn’t even had lids to go on the drinks. Surprisingly they did have my mom’s favorite drink, Red Bull 🤣
But I’ll definitely be returning just going to bring my own food next time!

Pelican Bay is a fun small water park to go to for a day. It's super affordable at only $6 a person. There are a ton of options for entertainment for the kids. My kids who are 9, 7 & 5 all had a blast.
The park includes a small lazy river, whirpool, small toddler play area with zero entry, splash pad, larger deep pool, rock climbing wall, diving boards and some extra big slides. My kids were entertained for hours.
There are life guards on duty and they do take a 10 or 15 minute break every hour so everyone has to get out of the pool. Not super convenient but it gave me a chance to make my kids drink some water and re apply sunscreen if needed.
The facilities are older and could probably be cleaned better but it was fine, I didn't feel like it was super dirty or unkempt. I'm guessing because of covid the concession stand is running a super limited offering and you can only pay with card. I highly recommend bringing snacks, drinks, lunch. Which you are allowed to do.
We will probably go several times throughout the summer because it's a great escape from just a normal neighborhood pool and it's totally affordable.

Changing rooms and showers are not well kept, several seating areas have ant infestations. Other than that the place is well staffed and it's a fun place for kids and adults alike. Had a great time here with the family.
