Zion Rock & Mountain Guides offers guided mountain and road bike trips, as well as canyoneering excursions. The company provides personalized experiences, with guides like Stu who ensure safety and cater to the preferences of their guests. Stu's knowledge of the area and passion for his work make him a highly recommended guide for those seeking an unforgettable adventure in Zion.
My husband and I took our two teenage girls on a canyoneering adventure with Zion Rock & Mountaineering for our daughters 16th birthday. Our guide Zach was awesome! So knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, and a great photographer to boot. The gear was great, and very protective. Zach was so responsive to our needs and interests. We had the best time in some seriously beautiful country! It's expensive (in our very limited knowledge of how this works & compared to hiking for free,) but we got to see and experience things we could never have done on our own, like rappelling 80 feet into a slot canyon, squeezing through a tiny slot canyon on foot and drying views usually only available to the birds. Besides that, we had a very knowledgeable safety net in Zach. It was totally worth it and we highly recommend it if you're looking for something a little more adventurous, but not too crazy difficult or dangerous. Loved it!

Amazing experience!!! My husband and I spent 1/2 day canyoneering with Kurtis guiding/teaching us. It was our first time doing this. Kurtis was an amazing teacher, made the experience super fun (and safe)! We were able to do 5-6 repels and saw some fabulous sites along the way. We are in our early 60’s and we’re a bit concerned about how we would do and had no problems. Thank you Kurtis!!!!

Ben was our tour guide on a full day canyoneering trip for 3 adults. He was AMAZING! So nice, friendly, knowledgeable, fun, helpful and encouraging when the repels got a little scary! When we come back, we will absolutely request Ben again, he was just the best!

Our experience with Zion Rock & Mountain Guides was amazing. My wife and I and our two boys (8 and 11 years old) went on a canyoneering trip with Guru Stu and couldn't have been happier. Stu perfectly tailored our trip to our level and needs, taking us outside our comfort zone in a safe and encouraging way and literally guiding us, showing us what was possible in ourselves and in the canyons. It was more than just a trip, we all walked away with a sense of accomplishment and confidence. I cannnot recommend Stu enough, he made our trip wonderful and one we will absolutely never forget. It was a seamless pick up and drop off with well maintained equipment. Thank you Stu!

Just had the best time with Ben canyoneering! So patient, laid back and just an all around fun chill guy to be around! Booking (a few weeks prior) went smoothly. Just showed up 20 minutes before our time and we were outfitted with our gear and were on the road! Totally recommend canyoneering with Ben! If today wasn’t our last day I’m sure my husband would have booked another adventure with him tomorrow.

We booked a canyoneering trip with Zion Rock and Mountain guides. Stu picked up our trip. Stu called me about a week ahead of our trip to understand what I wanted from the trip and tell me what to bring. I can’t recommend Stu enough. He listened and made us feel so safe. Stu is interesting to talk to and is knowledgeable about the area. Stu is an excellent photographer! His passion for what he does is contagious. Go ahead and ask for Stu if you book. You won’t regret!
The David J. West Gallery is a splendid place to view landscape photography from all over the United States and around the world. David offers tours of his gallery, so you can find just the photograph you're looking for.
David’s gallery is amazing. David loves his work and it shows with his amazing pictures. His gallery is the best in Zion. Recently purchased his Angels Storm photo but it was hard to choose from all of his great prints. He even autographed my son’s print I purchased. Thank you David !

David’s a master at pulling the details and true colors the naked eyes see at the right time and right place. A true master of this photographic metal art form. He is also incredibly kind and hospitable. We have placed our love for David J West art work even over our Michael Fatali in our living room. Last weekend we went in his gallery once again and bought another perfect piece of Zion beauty home called “Evening Glow”. It was an unexpected purchase but you become so drawn into the pinks, blues, purples, oranges and all the other enchanting colors, absolutely majestic artwork! Holy smokes David! Incredible talent and skill only honed by true passion and love for natures beauty and wonders. This skill and style of artwork is a real treasure of our our great American National Park called Zion by many and Mukuntuweap by our natives.
Thanks David. You have become a part of our beautiful little home in Boulder City, Nevada. Look forward to another and another! We love you bud and thanks again!

We recently visited David’s studio in Springdale on a biking trip through Zions National Park and were so impressed with his stunning photos of the area! David is an exceptionally talented photographer who is humble and truly appreciates every patron. He was extremely helpful and assisted me in selecting the perfect photos for our new home in St. George. I highly recommend visiting David’s studio ….you won’t be disappointed!

We visited several galleries in Springdale during our visit to Zion NP. The David J West Gallery was our favourite. This is a private studio and showroom featuring the works of local photographer David J. West. Opening hours are 10am to 8pm daily.
Here you will find several gallery rooms with beautiful images of landscape and outdoor scenes, highlighting the very best of Zion NP and other areas in this region of the United States. The images are well composed and just delightful to view.
Even if you are not in the market for buying, it is still worth passing by for 20-30 minutes simply to enjoy the lovely works on display at David J West Gallery in Springdale. We'd happily pop in for another visit if visiting Zion NP again in the future.

Lovely gallery with beautiful photography, art, and pottery by David! My wife and I stopped by the gallery on vacation, and David was so kind and welcoming. He offered us coffee and answered all the questions we had about his pieces. I highly recommend stopping in and supporting this local artist.

Met David in the store. We really loved the photography printed on metal. David shipped a couple of his items to us so we didn't have to try bringing on airplane. Highly recommend!

Stunningly beautiful gallery from David. Very natural landscape photography which I love. David was super friendly and happy to talk about his work.
Definitely worth the stop in to get inspired by the landscape through the eyes of a photographer.

I highly recommend this gallery if you're in Springdale. Stop in and support this incredibly talented artist. I took so many beautiful photos while visiting Zion, but none can compare to the vision of this talented artist. We could not leave without one of David's works. He is as nice a person as he is talented as an artist.

Ethan gave us some great e-bikes and helpful information on where to stop and what hikes to check out. Great selection of bikes, top-of-the-line, well-maintained… actually they felt like they were brand new. We couldn’t believe how beautiful the park was and really enjoyed going at our own pace, not being stuck in shuttle lines and feeling like we saw the whole park without it taking all day to get from point to point.

Jason, Ethan, and Greg were amazing!
They hooked us up with great eBikes, gave us good tips, provided walking sticks, and helped us with other bike features. They even had understanding when we were a little late coming back! Highly recommend this place and the staff was very friendly and encouraging :)

Super easy to rent and ride these bikes. They had helmets and a seat for my one year old. I highly recommend the bike ride through the park.

Great stop on our trip we were able to purchase some souvenirs at a great price. The staff was knowledgeable and very helpful. We missed the time for purchasing tickets but the staff directed us a once a day free shuttle which worked out in our favor. Without that piece of knowledge the trip would have been shorter than planned. We ended up extending our stay.

Good education, starting point for getting information what to do in Zion Canyon NP. Starting point of the shuttle service into the canyon.
The Worthington Gallery is located in an old brick building in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. It has a diverse range of art, from paintings and pottery to glass and wind sculptures. The gallery focuses on western American art, and its featured artist was based out of the Sacramento area.
This is a lovely little art gallery in Springdale. We stopped in because they feature a lot of items from Lyman Whitaker. He creates those spinning sculptures for your yard. They also featured many other artists inside who either painted, made jewelry or made exquisite pottery. They had some beautiful pieces of art work for sure.

Exquisite items at a reasonable price! My wife and I had to buy a one of a kind pink mug that was beautifully made. They also have other vibrant options. All in all a great place to look into! Highly recommend.

Try and get out without falling in love with multiple pieces. Amazing wind features for outside, pottery that will stun. All local artists.

While visiting friends in St. George, we had the pleasure of visiting the Worthington Gallery. We purchased a set of cannisters, butter well, and mugs. They were shipped to us when we returned to our home in Tennessee. They were packed carefully and received timely. These pieces are beautiful additions to our kitchen. Thank you for great service and for the lovely pottery.

This store has steel and copper wind spinners, pottery, wind chimes, bells, & paintings, all done by local artists. I bought a really nice bowl, "heart grab bowl". They also had a nice rice bowl and sushi plate, both with holes to put chopsticks. I may go back to get one of those too. The sales lady said they ship in the US. That is good for a big wind spinner. I enjoyed looking around here, inside and outside.

This is one of the handful of gallery & gift shops located along Zion Park Blvd. that we visited during a recent stay in Springdale. Worthington has several gallery rooms with quite a bit of inventory on display. Opening hours are 10am to 7.30pm daily.
Here you will find a wide selection of handmade items including pottery, jewellery, sculpture, glass, paintings and some interesting mobile wind sculptures sourced by local and regional artists. The shop appears to be geared for large tour groups which might make a larger number of purchases yet it caters to individual customers just the same.
We enjoyed browsing the Worthington Gallery. Much to view and potentially purchase here if you are seeking unique souvenir purchases during your holiday to Zion National Park.
Brad — Google review
This shop has an interesting selection of art from the western half of the United States. Their featured artist was based out of the Sacramento area, and used a method of triple-firing sculpted vases containing titanium to create some beautiful patterns reminiscent of the Utah mountains.
The also had a wonderful selection of wind sculptures. Nothing here spoke to me particularly, so the only souvenir I'll be taking home this time is the memory of the pleasant conversations I had with the shop staff.

The Sorella Gallery in Springdale, UT is a great place to visit if you're looking forunique pieces of art. The owner, Teresa, is very friendly and helpful, and the galleryhas a great selection of paintings, sculptures, and otheritems. If you're just looking to take in the atmosphereof the gallery, there's no need to buy anything!
Friendly and beautiful gallery filled with pieces by local artists. I feel Sorella Gallery captures the feel of Zion and Springdale, Utah. We purchased three pieces that enrich our lives and bring memories of our visit to this special place. We will definitely visit again!

Sorella Gallery is one of a handful of gallery and gift shops along Zion Park Blvd. in Springdale where you will find jewellery, pottery and other artistic items handmade mostly in the region.
We enjoyed browsing the various items in the main showroom and found some of the large scale prints in the photo gallery quite attractive for viewing.
Note: Just across the street are a couple of other gallery and gift shops called Worthington and David J. West Galleries. These are also worth making visiting if you are searching of unique souvenir and art/photo purchases during your visit to Zion National Park.

Lol… be aware of this shop.
They lie about where some of their stuff is from.
The shopkeeper told me about the stone of the earrings I was interested in and that they were made “right here in Utah.” I bought them, excited to support a local artist/shop. Got half way down the road, looked closer at the back of them where we could see she CROSSED OUT “made in China” with a black pen.
I was flat out lied to. I expected more from a shop like this. Disappointing and embarrassing on their part!
Btw, I went back to return the junk I overpaid for. No remorse or anything from her. What a shame

Absolutely stellar gallery. I called and had a few questions about a piece of art I had bought. My call was returned promptly and all my questions answered. Exceptional customer service from the owner. I highly recommend!

The owner was so kind, but I purchased a necklace here that only lasted a couple months. The chain was not sterling silver as it turned copper as well as the metal the jewel was set in. I was told the jewel was an emerald, but when I had a local jeweler reset and chain the jewel, he said it was a piece of glass. I'm not sure if she knowingly lied to me...but the jewelry was very low quality. Not worth the purchase. My friend purchased a bracelet that broke within a month too.

This gallery shouldn't be missed if you are in the greater Zion area, Springdale, Utah. The owner, Teresa was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I purchased a beautiful lawn sculpture and can't wait until she arrives. This place is a real gem! My beautiful sculpture greets all of my guests at my front door.

Teresa was really knowledgeable and pleasant to talk with about the different pieces the shop sells. My daughters had a few questions and she answered everything instead of ignoring the kids. Really unique and beautiful artwork and jewelry. Stop in to marvel!

The Sorella Gallery is an eclectic treat for the natural artist in everyone! There is something beautiful for everyone in here and the prices won't break your budget either! Don't leave the canyon without checking it out! Personally love TnT as well ♥️
DeZion Gallery is a small, local art gallery that specializes in Southwestern art. The gallery has a wonderful selection of artists and their work is always interesting to look at. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the store itself is nicely decorated. I highly recommend DeZion Gallery if you're ever in the area!

Stepping into DeZion Gallery is like entering a treasure trove of artistic wonders. The gallery's walls are adorned with an exquisite collection of paintings, sculptures, and handcrafted jewelry, each piece a testament to the creativity and talent of local artists.
I've been captivated by the gallery's diverse range of styles, from the vibrant energy of abstract paintings to the delicate brushstrokes of watercolor landscapes. The owner's passion for art is evident in the thoughtful curation of the gallery's collection, ensuring that there's something to captivate every art enthusiast.
My personal favorite is the collection of jewelry, each piece meticulously crafted with an eye for detail and a flair for design. I've become a loyal customer, acquiring several stunning pieces that have become cherished additions to my wardrobe.
The gallery's exceptional service is another highlight. The owner is a warm and knowledgeable individual, always eager to share insights about the artists and their works. She takes the time to understand my preferences and guides me towards pieces that resonate with my taste.
Even though I don't reside in Utah, the gallery has made my art-buying experience seamless. They have promptly arranged for the delivery of my purchases, ensuring that I can enjoy the beauty of their collection from afar.
DeZion Gallery is more than just an art gallery; it's a sanctuary for art lovers, a place where creativity and passion intertwine. I highly recommend visiting this gem of a gallery and immersing yourself in the world of artistic expression. You won't be disappointed.

Happy customer here. This is a very nice gallery with a broad selection of works from local artists. We purchased an original painting by Kimberly Harris. DeZion Gallery shipped the painting to us in the Seattle area and it arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. Can't wait to hang it in our family room. Thank you!

4 years ago I walked in this shop when traveling with my daughter and we both immediately thought that we must come back and bring my wife. Last week, we did just that. My wife was so impressed she walked out with two items and I had another shipped to my home (would have bought out the store If we could). The owners do a wonderful job curating the items on display from great local artists and some of their own work. If you are a rock fan, like me, Tom is a wealth of knowledge and a fun person to get to know as one of the local artists.

My wife and I did some shopping here on our first day in Zion. The gallery had an amazing array of pieces and we settled on a Paquime-Style ceramic vase. Tina was great in talking through a few pieces that helped us make our decision. Once purchased, she took care of packaging and shipping and now we have a great addition to our collection.
Located in the heart of Zion National Park, the Zion Lodge offers comfortable and historic accommodations with on-site dining. With 4.5 stars on TripAdvisor, this lodge is a popular choice for visitors looking to stay near the park.
What a spectacular place! The cabins are lovely (minus a noisy fan), and we enjoyed the affordable dining options (and our lovely server Amanda). You can’t beat the views waking up in the morning and it’s great being able to walk to the trailheads. Seems like a great spot for a real bathroom and food in the park for day visitors as well!

If you are staying in the Zion, this is a great place. You walk out your cabin and right onto trails with amazing vistas. This is a fabulous park and if you love the outdoors, this is a must see. The staff at the Lodge is helpful and friendly. We had an excellent breakfast. The room are comfortable with coffee makers and small refrigerators. The rooms have a deck and in the middle of the day we sat in the sun and soaked up the warmth.

Rooms have a southwestern vibe. They are spacious and have a warm feel. The surrounding views are amazing. The mountains are right out your door. The restaurant on site has a wide selection and with good food. Great place to get away from the world and enjoy nature.
jim patane — Google review
I would rate this place as a five star hotel just on location alone. The location of the lodge is breathtaking, as it is right smack dab in the middle of Zion national Park, surrounded by two steep cliffs. There are deer that congregate in the grass pretty much every night. I stayed in both the cabins and the watchman building and both were fine. The cabins didn’t have any TVs, just keep that in mind. There are a couple dining options, but I found the food reasonably priced, but just above average. Nothing spectacular. The shining point for the lodge is its location inside Zion national park. if you’re looking to get away from things, and you don’t mind spotty cell service and Wi-Fi, this is your place. I will definitely stay here again.
Mi Mo — Google review
The location of this lodge is just unbelievable! Right across the road from the emerald pools trail and the bus stop takes you right to the other places! So peaceful at night and a chance to observe the deer and turkeys. The restaurant food was delicious and the view from the balcony into the Canyon was great! The cabins are spacious and very clean/comfortable. The only reason I give a 4 star is that we heard everything our neighbours in the attached cabin were doing and saying. It made the experience a little less appealing. That being said I would stay again but just in the rooms instead of a cabin.
Shannon Forder — Google review
The room was cozy and comfy. The gas fireplace was great, once the controls are understood. There is no TV and the rooms are dated but functional. The lodge restaurant was very good and reasonable. The staff appears to enjoy their jobs. The location is impossible to beat.

The drive through Zion National park was beautiful, many times breathtaking.
To get to the lodge you have to go through Zion National park and pay the fee. Also you go through a crazy tunnel for a mile 😳
Thus Lodge is way out of the way and when you are there the directions around the place are not clear .
Breakfast they provide is disgusting 🤮
You’re better off fasting breakfast.
Will never do this again just for a night sleep.
Room and bathrooms were clean.
Heater in room to close to the bed and had a rickety extension cord system that I did not like at all!
Pambla — Google review
Nothing better than staying in the park and being able to walk to trails or jump on a shuttle at the lodge. The room was wonderfully decorated and had all the amenities you could want. Internet access was a bit sketchy, but overall it was a delightful stay. While sitting out on the porch and enjoying a beer we had many encounters with deer and turkeys on consecutive evenings. Great views as well!

One of my favorite places in US national park, no TV, no a good wifi and cellular reception I don't expect and need to get those completely surrounded in the canyon. Food in restaurant was great and won't forget an cold amber IPA after 4 hr tracking... Staying a night was so special for night tracking and looking for stars.
Y. K. — Google review
Are you planning on hiking outside of park hours and using the Lodge as a way to do that? Then maybe this place is worthwhile for you. I stayed in the M cabins and the shower curtains looks like they haven't been replaced in years. The ceiling fan can't be turned on without the lights on, and if you wake up in the middle of the night you have a 50/50 chance of seeing a cockroach. It was great staying in the park, but we might try the hotel next time.
AJ — Google review
The Lodge is simply in the most spectacular location. This was our first stop on a Multi-state road trip. The Lodge was the nicest location. The view of the night sky, the canyons and surrounds are unparalleled. The accommodations were fine - the rooms were clean but you could tell this was the first warm spell in a while because the AC smelled bad. The bathrooms were clean but obviously see a lot of use. We loved our stay and do recommend it.
Meghan Merritt Hannon — Google review
A review for the restaurant. We weren't expecting much from a place inside the park. But prices were more reasonable then inside Springdale, food was delicious, workers were very nice. Service a bit slow, but it looks like they don't have enough waitstaff. Great views from on outdoor deck.

Great location to access hikes in Zion. Pretty grassy shaded area and nice views from the lodge. Shuttles run constantly during the day. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. Good A/C during the summer. Quiet. Water refill stations and they actually recycle here!!!
The food is average so I would eat elsewhere or get a cabin with a kitchen next time.
Highly recommend.
Meredith Gardiner — Google review
Incredible location right in the heart of Zion Canyon. Rooms were very nice, and better than what I was expecting after staying in a few on-site National Park hotels over the years. With the shuttle service and parking issues at Zion, I would probably never stay anywhere else since it is cheaper and allows you to be right in the middle of the park.
Zach Altschuler — Google review
The cabin we stayed in was great. Clean with just the right amount of rustic qualities that you want from a cabin. No musty smell. Everything works including the gas fireplace operated by remote control. Would love to stay here again. The lodge has a Disneyesque quality to it, and that is not a slam. It's nice with lots of people moving through in quick succession. Bathrooms stay clean, everyone gets fed.

Nice place to stay before your hike.
I liked the old style rooms and back door for patio. Room was clean. Room did not have fridge but we went there during winter so never needed one. Basic amenities were available. Enough parking space. Close to trails and they have their restaurant with good selection of food. Breakfast is worth it. Gift shop is also nice. Overall good experience.

Great home base for the hikes. They don’t provide cleaning unless you ask. That is a hassle but still a great location. Would stay again. Images are night shots from the main visitor area and a few others of the area. Deer were super close. Book this place if you can! Yeah, wow!

Wow! Our expectations were blown away staying in the main lodge. The room was well appointed including keeping the original charm. The main dining hall was well staffed and everyone was very friendly. We ate two great dinners and two breakfasts there. Just to note, make dinner reservations ahead of time as they do sell out.
Overall the location, service and dining blew us away. Thanks Zion Lodge!

Enjoyed staying at the lodge during our trip this summer. Rooms were clean and comfortable. There are no coffee maker or microwave in the room. However there is a microwave in common area, which could use some cleaning. It was filthy when I went to warm up my leftovers. I guess guests also could do better and clean after themselves. Overall nice stay and we will be coming back again.
Falguni Dharodiya — Google review
Really nice lodge in a pretty location. Everyone here was helpful and enjoyed the stay. Didn’t eat there but luckily there was a microwave to use to cook food. The shuttle service was good to take you to different stops to hike and there is a trail to walk if you don’t take the shuttle. The only problem is that they pick up at the bottom of the canyon and then by the time they would get to the lodge the shuttle was usually pretty packed and they don’t send an empty bus up. So you might have to hike to a different spot if it gets busy.
Tristan C — Google review
You can’t beat the location of Zion Lodge! It’s right at bus stop #5 and only a 0.5 mile walk to stop #6 (the trail that goes up to Angel’s Landing). Beautiful views in every direction and plenty of free parking. Rooms were dated, but comfortable. Liked having the sink separate from the toilet/shower, especially with a family of 4. If we go back, I would definitely stay here again, if for no other reason than to avoid the crazy shuttle lines at the visitors center. We lived the grab and go cafe on site for breakfast and lunch - good options, reasonably priced.
Niki DB — Google review
It is laughable that anyone complains about anything at this place! It’s literally a million dollar view every minute of the day. The cabins are old but extremely comfortable and clean. The beds aren’t 5 star, but you are in a National Park in the middle of nowhere. Set your expectation accordingly! The restaurants had delicious food and allowed us to stay in the tranquil paradise of the lodge property for almost our entire stay. We ventured to the visitor center for a hike and were shocked at the chaos and number of visitors! Staying at the lodge is a completely different experience. Sure the buses are crowded, but the peace and tranquility the lodge offers cannot be matched anywhere else in/around Zion. When we wanted to drive into town, we just hopped in our car and drove - again, no crammed buses. Zion is AMAZING!!! And if we ever go back, I wouldn’t even consider not staying at the Lodge (we stayed in a cabin). We had the absolute best time. Visitors who are going to complain about the rate of their coffee refills or the view (LOL… you are literally surrounded in all sides by gorgeous rock walls…. ) should stay elsewhere and leave the rooms open to people who will APPRECIATE this gem of a place.
Sarah Felsing — Google review
Absolutely beautiful location inside the park. You can literally step outside and hop on the shuttle bus to be the first person. After a tiring day of hiking, you can just walk back to your room and rest before heading back out. We enjoyed the porch to sit and view the beautiful mountains and listen to the chirping birds. Loved every minute here! The restaurant is there to order food and that was very convenient!

Although this place may be dated, we're grateful for having the option to stay in the park. This location is great, everyone is super friendly, it's quite clean, and the rooms are really spacious plus they afford a big balcony w/ comfy rocking chairs. Note: we had a suite (which only cost around $60 more.
On a side note, the food at their restaurant (Red Rock Grill) is along the lines of what you would receive at a cafeteria. Although we were grateful for it being there, in retrospect we would have drove the couple minutes and gone into town (where there are a plethora of great eats).

Can't beat this location for access to Angel's Landing. The Grotto bus stop is a short walk from the front door to start your hike. We entered the lottery and started before 9 am. I can imagine this hike becoming very crowded during peak season. Park Rangers were out enforcing permits on both days that we hiked in this area.
We had a beautiful view from the balcony in our hotel room in Watchman. We could hear our neighbors through the shared door, but they went to bed at a respectful time. The plumbing was a little noisy as well. There is a basic restaurant on site, but there are better options outside the park, especially in the off-season. The shuttle came often and was very convenient for getting around.

Zion National Park Lodge surpassed our expectations with its exceptional breakfast and dinner options. The gift shop offers a delightful array of items, ranging from essentials to locally crafted treasures, making it a perfect spot for unique souvenirs. One suggestion for added enjoyment could be incorporating nature-themed movie nights during the winter—a fantastic idea to enhance the overall experience. Our stay in one of the cabins was nothing short of impressive – impeccably clean, warm, and thoughtfully constructed. Zion Lodge truly provides a memorable and comfortable retreat amid nature’s beauty.
