interesting actual library. extensive collection of bahasa, dutch and english books in fiction and nonfiction plus comics and picture books (with improper nonfiction classification but that’s ok). probably more languages too that I didn’t see. not amazingly modern but I found some good books. staff small and quiet. 2 floors with what seems to be a no frills reading room. capable of handling small classes for the community. seems tourists can make an account and check out books for like 40k. worth a visit for sure if you in the area for a while; good for young kids too. recommended.

Brahmavihara-Arama is the largest Buddhist monastery in Bali surrounded by tranquil gardens, meditation rooms and libraries. It offers a peaceful respite from the numerous Balinese Hindu temples. Located in the midst of a jungle, visitors can enjoy its serene ambiance without any crowds. The temple boasts beautiful architecture with an interesting history and has been visited twice by Dalai Lama. Additionally, there is a delightful vegetarian warung located across the road from it.
Very nice temple and garden. Definitely a good place to visit. But please be respectful and silent, there are people for praying and meditation. 20k IDR for entry tickets.

Very beautiful Buddhist temple park. Entrance fee is 20K with free sarong. The park is quite big and well-kept, and everything is very peaceful. Interesting mix of Buddhism and Bali Hindu culture. We spent here an hour or so, and made lovely pictures.

Not too bad, thought it might be cooler but it’s full of white people walking really slowly. Kinda like a scene out of the walking dead but much more serene and peaceful. Maybe they found themselves or they found free parking.

This is a beautiful peaceful and holy place. Your shoulders and legs must be covered and they will supply you with a sarong and shawl.

I have been visiting this beautiful Buddhist monastery for so many years and always love it here as the scenery over the mountain and the sea are spectacular.
A magnificent Buddhist temple built on the beautiful hill which is truly serene and peaceful here.
They have done quit a lot of renovations over the last few years and now that they have such a beautiful split gate looking out to the great view over the Bali sea.

Really amazing place to go to and experience the sacred moment. The gardens and meditation rooms are pleasing to visit, you can just get back to yourself and enjoy the peaceful environment. It’s really worth showing respect and staying silent as many people are on their journey of quiet time or in the middle of the mediation. Awesome views and water lilies garden giving you the chance to realize how beautiful this place is.

Beautiful Buddhist temple with amazing views over the surrounding areas, the mountains and the sea. Very close to visit if you’re staying in Lovina and you can combine it with a visit to the hot springs in Banjar Sekar.

First thing first, there's not many Buddhist temple scattered in Bali, and being able to visit one is considered lucky, talking about how far this place from city center. When you enter the temple, the feelings of serenity and peacefulness will surround you, not only the whole place was well maintained but also the environment are so greenery and beautiful. Inside they have miniature of Borobudur temple, the largest Buddhist temple in Indonesia, mediation room, sleeping Buddha statue, pagoda and many more. Entrance price are 25k by the time of this review.

the temple is incredible.
I've been there 3 times already.
I want to warn you about scam outside the temple. I was travelling by scooter, looking place to park it. I was convinced to park specific place and was told it’s free for visitors.
I’ll say in advance that parking around the temple has always been free and is now. But! After visiting temple, the same man demanded us money for parking. for two bikes we had to pay 10,000 rp. It’s not a matter of money, you can pay 20,000, the problem is deception. You leave the temple in a such a great mood, and then you are been scammed it leaves a bad feeling inside

The temple complex is a true masterpiece of architecture and design, and the attention to detail is breathtaking. The beautiful gardens and peaceful atmosphere make it the perfect place to relax and reflect. I particularly enjoyed the meditation room, where I was able to find a sense of inner peace and tranquility. The view from the temple is simply breathtaking and provides a unique perspective of Bali's natural beauty. Overall, I highly recommend Brahmavihara-Arama to anyone seeking a spiritual and peaceful escape.

One of the most beautiful Temples I’ve ever been to! An incredible experience that didn’t cost really anything. The drive there was an experience through the high mountainous farmland sand was enjoyable. Then to be greeted with this Temple was like eating the lightest Tiramisu after a delightful meal.

Krisna Funtasticland is an amusement park that caters to young kids with its classic fairground rides and vibrant light installations. The park opens at 4pm daily and closes at 10pm, making it a great place to visit in the evenings when the lights are most visible. The attraction offers a Venetian-style canal ride that showcases the stunning light displays, along with other popular rides such as trains and merry-go-rounds.
A fun amusement park to visit with family, friends, significant other, or just by yourselves. The playgrounds are lots of variety, and tend to be safe.

Krisna funtasticland located in the North Bali, I think they should promoted this place more 🤔 for location and the entrance ticket that cost you only 15K it was so cheap 🤩 if you sure to play all the attractions I’d like to recommend you to buy the full pass entrance ticket which is cost you only 100K (worth spend 😉) they open from 4PM. You should bring your family, neighbors, friends, partner or even your enemy so you doesn’t feel alone on this big park 😄

Recommend to go when the sun goes down so you can see the light installations in which there was a boat that took us through a venetian style canal which gives a great view of the lights.
Our kids liked the train and the merry go round.

There are not too many amusement parks in Bali of this calibre especially out this way North there is nothing in comparison.
We came with 2 adults and 3 children ages 5, 6 and 8 and from their opening at 4pm we had the best of times!
As foreigners with Kitas we were able to get a more palatable discount. I don't think we would have paid for admission if it was 200k per person for foreigners. That would be too much if you only get to ride each ride only once and an astronomical cost for 5 persons.
Perhaps it was miscommunication but the ticket seller had advised that for 85k per person it would be unlimited rides. She used those words. So when we went on our first ride and the attendant initialed on our wristband we asked why and he explained we could only go on each ride once.
Only one ride was not in operation at the time. My kids were able to go on all the rides. They wanted to go again and again. It is possible to buy a single ticket for any ride also.
The park gets pretty at night when all the amusements are lit up.
There is a restaurant inside selling mostly Pop mie and beverages. For freshly made hot food and drink, there is a restaurant just outside the amusement area beyond the plane.

Good park, but staff in funtastickland wasn't speaking english well and tried to rip us off with 75.000 per person only entrance 😡
Vladimir Parlik — Google review
It's ok. A few attractions. Not big at all. It's Fun not Funtastic. Within 3 minutes you have seen the whole park. There are 2 options for tickets. 1. Only pay the entrance ticket and then pay for every attraction. Or 2. Pay ticket including all attractions 1 time.
Wayan Jarni — Google review
A good recreational park in the city. The price is very affordable. Me and my sister's family had so much fun. But I think it could be improved with adding more attractions and spacious area to make it more attractive.

I think its one of the largest amusement park in Bali. Read the reviews from other Local Guide, I think the should compare it to other entertainment place in Bali then they could give a 4 star review or even a 3 star review. Krisnaland is a one stop entertainment center, they have water park, shopping center (gift shop), food court. And everything is so cheap compare if you go to waterboom in kuta, splash in canggu, or any kids play ground in whole denpasar area. You just need to pay IDR 15k/person and an IDR 90k/person if you want to try the whole games. You could also buy a ticket inside if you want to try individual games and you have to spend only IDR 15k to 25k/person. Plus the food court that they have there are also cheap price plus and they are serious about the quality, most of the food that we have order they were delicious and a descent portion as well. Hopefully the second airport that the government planning to build finish soon so the north part of Bali will be more flourish with tourist from other part of the world.

Singsing Waterfall is a serene and secluded retreat for nature enthusiasts, offering a pair of picturesque waterfalls and plunge pools nestled amidst Bali's lush rice paddy fields. Unlike bustling tourist spots, this hidden gem provides an opportunity to bask in the immaculate beauty and tranquil ambiance of its offbeat location near the Northern Bali coast.
Nice waterfall but the way down is little bit broken... The owner of the place (Sing sing hotel and restaurant) is not cleaning it... Need to go through the jungles which is super cool but a bit dangerous... Waterfall is also nice... Very good positive energy...

I give this a three star because of the hard trail access and it only has water during the rainy season. It is a great spot to stop though if you know your way or have a guide. It's a ten minute walk to the first falls on a flat jungle trail. From there it's about another ten minute walk to the second falls. This walk is not for the faint of heart or people with mobility issues. If you slip you have the possibility of falling 40 feet. The best part of this place is that there is no fee and nobody is around. Good for a skinny dip😁 or a romantic picnic with that special someone. If you are in the neighborhood give me a call on what's app, I will gladly walk you in.

Scary experience especially by yourself. Parked across the street and they wanted me to pay for what I thought it was worth. The parking was basically in someone’s front yard. We then had two guys take us through what you could hardly call a path. We also did not ask for guides but definitely couldn’t have even found the way without them. Needed to walk through the water and soaked our shoes. Honestly felt as though we were being taken to be kidnapped. We only made it to the first waterfall as the water was so heavy we would have had to trek through the water to continue on the path and we just wanted to get out of there. So I suggest not going alone if you feel as though you must do this but there are plenty of other waterfalls in bali to visit that feel much safer and are much better paths. Once we returned they asked us to lay them when we never even asked for guides in the first place. Our worst and scariest experience in Bali.

💦 Wow! 💦 Such an amazing and cool waterfall especially in raining season. Easy to find but drive not to far up hill. It's a easy 300 meter walk 👣 to the waterfall.
I read on the internet about a second waterfall. We couldn't cross to the other side because there was too much water coming down. Definitely worth visiting!

We visited during the rainy season and had a nice time, lots of water. We walked up to the Sing Sing resort and asked them about the falls. They were very kind and showed us a staircase down to the second falls in the back of the resort. The stairs were very overgrown with weeds and there were mosquitos so have bug spray. Some climbing required to get to the water. Much prettier than the first falls based on the pictures I saw. We had the place to ourselves. We had a nice lunch at the resort after with an amazing view. This was a good way to avoid the local 'guides' who want money.

Not an impressive waterfall in the dry season, but a very beautiful place. It's also worth going a little downstream!
Ralf M — Google review
Good waterfall to visit as it is not super touristy, easy to get to and has the option of just seeing one waterfall if you can’t comfortably climb to the second.
Small parking donation of your choice if you drive / scooter there.
There are guides waiting to take you (useful if you want to see the second waterfall in rainy season as it’s quite slippery!). Try to agree a price before going with them - we bartered down to 100K each. Female travellers should take care - we were two girls and after we’d paid and had a perfectly fine experience with the guide he shook our hand and attempted to kiss us both without consent.
Ellen Sanghera — Google review
I’d give 4 stars for the experience but the falls themselves aren’t spectacular so 3 stars. We chose Sing-Sing because its the only waterfall in reasonable walking distance from our villa. We opted to do what Alex Hummel suggested- walk to the Sing Sing Resort.
From our villa it took about 1 hr and 30 mins along a lovely back track through the villages. Note there’s a very steep climb to the resort at the end, but we are in our early 40’s with low-moderate fitness and we managed, so you can too. We ate lunch there, the food was very nice (North Bali is still recovering from the pandemic- do visit now as it’s quiet), enjoyed the spectacular view to the ocean, and then went down to the waterfall via the stairs at the back of the resort.
As described they were very overgrown (maybe the resort will clip the bush back when they get customers again) and definitely take insect repellent. But it’s short and only slightly perilous. It was raining and it was ok.
I had a refreshing swim and we had the place completely to ourselves!!! We did not see any of these pushy touts others described, and the waterfall was free.
A beautiful day of exploring the region for us.
Note we went in wet season- March 2023.

We rode our scooters out to a tiny sign pointing to Sing Sing Waterfall. There were a couple guys there that wanted to be guides for us as we hiked up to the first two of three falls. We wandered through a teak tree farm with giant leaves on the teak trees. The first falls was an almost flat walk up to the falls. It is a pretty falls but not as impressive as the second. The trek up the side of the canyon really got steep and would have been really tough if it were raining but after 10 or 15 minutes we arrived at the second falls. We stripped down to our suits and headed in to the pool and then stood under the falls. It has enough height that it is uncomfortable under the falling water. After a refreshing swim and a few photos we headed back. Awesome little hike to take.
Greg Stringham — Google review
About a 5-10 minute walk down from the hotel here. Nice waterfall, the path was very overgrown when we went making it abit ropey- not an easy stroll. We didn’t both with a guide we just googled it and found it 🤣
Henry Ridgers — Google review
Great waterfall, but we couldn't swim since the water was too strong after the rain. You can either ask someone to guide you there following the stream upwards or go directly to Sing Sing Resort Lovina and walk down a long and overgrown stairway which ends at the waterfall.

No entrece fee but a small parking fee. You can park in front of the strance.
You have to do a small hike to get to the waterfall but it not much, also keep going to get to the viewer point
