Beautiful island. The food stands are right in the beachfront so you don't have to worry about the meals stock. Some area on the island are prohibited to visit because it's the part of some resort, but the rest of the island are for you to explore!

Wonderful!
The last time i go here, it feels different, it so quite and not so many activity to do.
But my last visit (2/1/18) this place give me a big surprise.
It is beyond expextation, the view is clear blue, coral reef near the cost of Bunaken Island, the colourful fishes, the locals culture and the traditional foods are all verry lovely.
If you love traveling, Bunaken is one of the most recommended place for you!

a beautiful place to go snorkeling if you don't mind other people, just keep the beach and the reefs clean, so don't leave any trash, or even collect a bit of the trash and give it to your captain to help clean the reefs and preserve the local diversity.
You can even see turtles while snorkeling there. If you have an underwater camera, definitely bring one!
attached are some of the wonderful views I had! It's definitely worth a stay

Good place to dive but sadly there’s a lot of trash floating around and you can find some on the reefs while you dive.

A non-negotiable for Monado. Check for life jackets when you get on a boat. Visibility is top tier!

Located on a scenic hillside, the Yesus Memberkati Statue is the largest Christ statue in Asia and serves as a great landmark. The statue is situated amidst real estate decorations and provides ample space for taking pictures. A perfect fit for Manado, visitors can capture stunning views of the monument from the other side of the hill. For those looking to get a good angle, taking a photo from this site overlooking the statue is highly recommended.
an impressive place, you can go to the territory of the statue, but you will not see its grandeur and beauty. to be able to see the monument, you need to get to the observation deck, which is located on the opposite side of the road (taxi drivers know)

It's currently closed now, but the security will get you in if you're from out of town. Its free. The statue itself is in good condition, but the garden around it has some growth. You can also enjoy the view of the monument from a housing complex nearby, just ask the security guard for direction.

Honestly the only reason i bring almost all my tourist friends here is because its a must-see landmark in Manado. It used to be like the second biggest statue of Jesus in the world, but i heard it isnt anymore. Not much to see here, but still i will always take my tourist friends to see this at least once.

The place are up high on right turn from Citraland entrance. Must stepping about a hundred dark stairs. You need to climb during day since there’s no lighting at night. The view is good but it’s better during sunset but once again you need to consider the dark stairs.

Great landmark. It also has the space to take pictures which located on the other side of the hill. It's actually part of a real estate decorations but it suits well with Manado.

I guess it's cool if you have a religious need. Me, I saw it as a waste of money, use the money to help put better roofs on their houses. It was built by some rich guy.
Perry Stone — Google review
Overrated and it's no longer opened. So if you'd like to go there you need to go through a construction site or get thru from a residential complex area.
