Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park is an expansive area of natural beauty covering 857 acres, named after a gold prospector who settled there in the 19th century. The park boasts old-growth forests with tall trees, walk-in campsites and trailed woodland, providing endless opportunities for family-friendly activities. Visitors can enjoy spacious picnic areas and a stunning three-mile-long sandy beach backed by safe swimming waters that stretch out into the Strait of Georgia at low tide.
The beach with a wide view has a charming view. It takes about 20 minutes from the beginning of the trail to the place where the sea is surging. The trail is gentle and comfortable, and people come in droves from afar to see the wide and flat coastline. The public facilities are complete, there are toilets, children's play area, dogs can walk on the trail, however, can not enter the prohibited area. This is a very good place to recommend to everyone.|07/09/2022

Great campground, not too noisy, and very clean. The fire rings needed maintenance as they had not been dug out for a long time. But the outhouses were fine and the beach was lovely and accessible from any site.

Very enjoyable and peaceful. We saw our first weasel in the wild which was cool. Especially since we live on the island. Lots of wildlife. And the new ant population in the park is intense. We thought the ants might be a problem. But they left us alone. Just be careful wondering around right now. The ant hills are all over the place and they will swarm if you aggravate them.

Beautiful park and amazing views. Very family friendly, bathrooms are pretty clean and the showers are nice and hot. There is a few items you can buy when you check in at the front of the park. There’s also a general store before you meter the park if you need groceries or camping items. The water is lovely and the trails are nice and clean. Amazingly quiet at night.

An amazing vista, fabulous trails, and lots of room. You can walk out far into the Strait and enjoy the sand and wildlife. Lots of parking, some great picnic spots, and beautiful trees.

Amazing beach with warm waters. We went on a mild day so was worried it might be to cold but the water was so pleasant it was nicer to be in the water than outside. When it’s low tide the beach just goes on and on making it great for the kids to play without having to worry about them going in to deep. Even though there is a lot of people there is so much space between people that you feel u have your own little section. There is a nice picnic area behind the beach very shady and toilets close by. Best Beach yet.

A bit windy but fantastic view of the Canada day fireworks. food trucks around and plenty of time to watch the view, lots of space to sit.
All dogs around were leashed, and the nearby playground was fun and open. Nearby were multiple mobile bathrooms, including a small series of permanent bathrooms, decently clean.

I'm standing in the ocean as I write this. Crystal clear water! Amazing beach! Amazing campground! Campground is right on the ocean. No power, water or sewer in campsites but who cares! Stay here, you won't be disappointed!

Gorgeous beach! Went at low-tide. Don't bother looking for sand dollars (we saw none, dead or alive) to mark off on any scavenger hunts you may be doing. Lots of cool little shells and snails and crabs to look at though. Never really ran into a single person except on trails leading to and from the beach. Perfect spot for sand castles!

Lovely beach with an amazing campground. Campground are serviced really well and clean. They provide firewood on request. The sound of wonderful birds in the morning just makes it so surreal. Recommended.

One of Vancouver Islands best provincial parks. Lots of space between wooded campsites, flush toilets and hot showers. And a beautiful beach to top it off. What more could you want?

Beautiful beach with great trails on the beach and in the forests and beautiful views! When the tide is out it is lovely to explore the beach and see the treasures the area has to offer! Loved exploring and finding seashells and sand dollars when the tide was out! The tree line was so beautiful with the snow too!

This campsite was very beautiful! We had a tenting spot, the walk on was short and they had wheelbarrows available to cart over the gear. Facilities were well maintained, the dishwashing station was very convenient. The staff I encountered were kind and helpful. Watching the sun set from the beach was definitely a highlight. I'd visit again.

We have been staying here almost yearly for the past 20 years. Great campground, especially for young families. The trek to the beach can be a bit much so make sure you ha w a wagon!
Showers and bathroom facilities are great. Some of the showers have very low water pressure and all lose a lot of pressure every time someone flushes a toilet, which can be almost constant depending on the time of day.
Overall, great place to camp if you're lucky enough to book a site!

It is a great place to walk and get exercise. At low tide, you can walk out about a kilometer to the water. We've been here a few times now and love the views and the various starfish and shells along the beach. Our most recent trip brought us here to see the biolumencence in the water on a moonless night. It didn't turn out that well, but I believe we were in a bad spot with lights from the surrounding area encroaching our night view. Still had fun and enjoyed our night out...

Started camping season off strong at Rathtrevor last weekend!
Check in: Currently self check-in process in place and starts at 1pm. This is a cash only campsite and you leave the money in an envelope.
Site availability: We arrived right at 1 and had no trouble getting a decent spot near the beach entrance. Lots of multi-day visitors around though.
Atmosphere: Because the campgrounds are in a wooded area, our site got zero sunlight and was FREEZING as a result. Just remember to bring warm sleeping gear. Otherwise our site was wonderful, private enough and not right next to another site.
Noise: One rowdy site was quite loud with shouting and singing until around 1 a.m. But for the most part sites were occupied by families, not partiers.

As beautiful as I remembered! The tide was out so we enjoyed walking out on the beach and watching the birds! So refreshing to not have to pay to park!

One of the highlights of Rathtrevor Beach is its camping facilities. The campsites are spacious, well-kept, and offer a blend of privacy and community, making it an ideal spot for families and groups. Each site is equipped with the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay, and the cleanliness of the facilities is commendable.

It's one of the islands best beaches. Lots of parking. Plenty of trails to walk. Miles and miles of open beach when the tide is out.

Great for swimming, day picnic! Watershoes might be helpful, as there are rocks on the shore; however, once inside water, the sand is actually very soft & walkable with bear feet! Great spot for sunset!
Parksville Community Park is a vast 39-acre recreational area located on the island offering an array of activities and amenities. This park boasts a boardwalk, picnic shelter, playground, volleyball courts and outdoor gym. It has sandy beaches that are perfect for camping or family beach days. The park also features an enormous water park that is interactive and suitable for all ages. Visitors can enjoy food trucks serving ice cream, snacks and meals in the summer season.
Probably the best location and Park on the island!! From sandy beaches to watching volley ball, to kids playing at an amazing park, they even have a mini trampoline. They have washrooms, showers, and even food trucks daily in the summer. Absolutely amazing spot.

What a beautiful park! This park also leads down to the beautiful beach. These few pics were taken from my 1st visit in the summer of 2019 for their annual Sand Sculptures competition. The theme was Myths & Legends. I’m sorry I didn’t take pictures of the whole park, but it is very clean, has stuff for the children, tables, and a building with washrooms.

A beautifully open and very clean space with large shade trees, grassy areas, picnic tables and a large sandy beach. When the tide is in you can walk around the bay in the water and it is no deeper than your waist. There is also a splash area where water shoots up from different spouts, great fun to watch the kids try and dodge the geysers but even more fun for the kids is the amazing playgrounds with brightly painted structures to play on including an airplane shaped monkey bar. There are swings and a sheltered picnic area. There are sandy floored washrooms and rinse showers, volleyball courts but the best part of the island experience are the warm and friendly people. I guess living in a beautiful spot like Vancouver Island makes it easy to be kind.

What an AMAZING PARK. There are about 5 different playground. Lots of swings, 2 mini trampolines. Most of the ground is sand and the rest a spongy hard top ( idk it's really cool though)
There is a water park that has cement as the floor but still lots of fun. PUBLIC bathrooms.
15/10 totally recommend!

I just love ❤️ Parksville BC! Central location for a base so you can go exploring up North or down South. We stayed at The Beach Club Resort which is right on the water with the boardwalk in front. Only downside to the Resort is the elevator. They only have 1 per building; so between guests, staff, and the lovely children who like to push buttons 😉? You will get a workout on the stairs, lol. All the staff we encountered at the Resort were so nice and always asked how our stay is and do we need anything.
Thanks Parksville ✌️!

Amazing beach! It's absolutely huge with plenty of room for laying on the beach, grass, or by the playground. The playground is massive so if you have kids they will for sure have a great time. And the beach is dog friendly so bring your pooch with you! Going to the sand sculpting competition was a blast! Great beach made even better by the weather!

The park is simply amazing. The park is well equipped with a huge parking lot, picnic tables and a huge play area that is a short walk away from the beach. It is a very well maintained park
The beach is just 2mins away from the park. You can walk on the boardwalk or simply enjoy the scene and the breeze by sitting in on one of the benches. I saw a couple of food trucks around. The beach is pet friendly. So you can definitely take your pet for a walk here.

Love parksville for the whole family. Good facilities and a large park for kids. U can bring a kite to fly in the green space or just hang at the beach. Food trucks are there along with live entertainment. We were lucky enough to see the sand sculptures and go for a quick swim!

We loved the playground. It was so versatile. So many things to discover for the little ones. And the city keeps working on it and adding new sites. Water plays for the summer, and flush toilets that are clean and work fine. Drinking Water is also available. Loved it.

Beautiful beach! I love how you can wade in the water for a long time, doesn't get deep for awhile. Perfect for kids or those who like to gradually get wet, like me 😜
The water is warm and clean! There's places to have a picnic, kids to play, and just lay out in the sun. Fun in the sun for all!
Little Qualicum Cheeseworks, established in 2001 by Clarke and Nancy Gourlay, is a Swiss-style artisan cheese producer located on Vancouver Island. Situated on the 88-acre Morningstar Farm in the Comox Valley, visitors can experience farm life and interact with the mixed herd of dairy cows, as well as other animals like sheep and goats. The cheesemakers craft handmade cheeses using milk from the farm's cows.
I didn't go on the tour of the farm, as I had 3 soaking wet dogs with me, but everything I purchased today is robust in flavour. Ethically raised cows is a win for everyone. Balsamic vinaigrette, hot jill cheese, Qualicum spice cheese, cheese curds, artisan crackers... All amazing. A+

Went to this wonderful place today for the first time and was thoroughly impressed.
Besides the great selection of cheese, there’s a milk dispensary, a cow petting area, and a Moo-seum which takes you through their history.
Kathy, the lady working there today was just a gem, so helpful and courteous. She really added to our great customer experience and represents the farm very well.
Will be back again and again. So glad we have such a fantastic place like this within our community.

You NEED to get the feta whip. Oh my gawd. Best cheese I've tried. The farm is also super fun and we are old!!! It would be fun for kids as they have scavenger hunts through the farm and you get to see all the animals. We saw calfs, llamas, sheep, goats, and cows. It's very cool for a stop on your trip. But! Get the cheese.

Not as glamorous of a cheese factory, but it had a shabby quaintness to it that I oddly found endearing. Even if they had a robot cleaner that roamed the barn that did not appear to be a very effective clearner. Even if they had a robotic cow milker. Even if they had "don't touch" signs all over. Even if it was raining on the day we visited. The quirkiness of some of the signs and sights just jived really well with me. I liked their milk dispenser. 10 cents for a cup of milk that tasted so good. Totally nostalgic and reminiscent of the boxed milk I used to drink as a kid. I also liked their cheese sampler box and thought it was a great product idea to let guests sample all their cheeses for a reasonable price.

My daughter and I drove down from Campbell River on Easter Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed our wander around the farm. What a beautiful place. Happy, well cared for cows. Neat to see how the dairy barn works! Finished it off with a coffee and a cheese sampler from the gift shop. Brought home a few things too. Best cheese ever!

What a wonderful stop! We dropped in as part of a two-week road trip around the island. We have been to other cheese-making attractions that felt like visiting a manufacturing facility. This is very different. It is warm and homey in an authentic way, where you can be up close and personal with the cows and other animals. I even got to snuggle with the family dog for a while. And the cheese is just fantastic! This was a very worthwhile addition to a visit to the area.

This cow farm is a great place to bring children to visit. There are many cows here, and children can observe and learn about the life and habits of cows up close. The farm staff are also very friendly and enthusiastic, making children feel very welcome and comfortable.
In addition, the milk and cheese from this farm are both very delicious and leave a lasting impression. The milk and cheese here are the best in the local area, and the quality is excellent. Especially for children, they will definitely love the milk and cheese here because they are very tasty.
Overall, this cow farm is a great place to bring children to visit. It provides many opportunities to learn about and observe cows, while also offering the chance to taste the best local milk and cheese. If you are looking for a place to bring children to visit, this cow farm is definitely your best choice.

I’d highly recommend coming here on a self-guided tour, especially if you have little ones. Our kids enjoyed learning more about the dairy farm, seeing cows and calves, and watching the animals. The store is great

Loved this place! Our kids enjoyed walking around, petting and saying hello to the barn animals. Their absolute favourite part was the milk dispensary. The market was awesome too; and the cheese - to die for! Would def come back.
Lonely and isolated place and it’s nice to be far from the city environment. You cannot get into waterfalls only can see it from a distance.

Paradise Mini Golf and Fun Park is an ideal family-friendly destination that boasts of two intricately designed miniature-golf courses and a restaurant. The facility is impeccably clean and well-kept, with both 18-hole courses offering distinct levels of difficulty. It's a great place for families or couples looking for an exciting day out, and it also has proximity to a trailer park suitable for camping enthusiasts. Additionally, the prices are reasonable, making it accessible to everyone seeking fun in the sun.
All in all coming here is a great family activity. We went though and completed two rounds of mini golf, hit up the arcade in between to catch a break from the sun and grabbed a snack on the way out.
2 x adults, 1 x 12yrs, 1 x 10yrs. Arrived at 11:00 am and left around 3:00 pm.
Mini Golf - Pretty self Explanatory. The counter attendants provided clubs appropriate for the height of each player. The courses offered a variety of angled shots and challenges. We all enjoyed it. Shade was harder to find on the first 18 hole course, so I'd suggest doing that one first and taking a break.
Arcade - some machines were out of service, quite a few were in service. Playing the games yielded the kids a lot of tickets. The arcade facilitators were patient with our kids winning.
The whole experience was pretty great.

I was between 2 and 3 stars but I’m giving the new owners the benefit of the doubt.
Mini golf was fun.l and the courses seemed well maintained. The arcade was a big letdown. Only about 2/3 of the machines worked and it was pretty run down. That said, there was a guy in there working at repairing them so hopefully the new owners are going to get this place all fixed up.

A lovely little campground with the best mini golf I ever seen. Washers were two dollars driers were two dollars and showers a dollar for seven minutes. The price seems a little high but you get two free rounds of mini golf it works itself out. All the staff were super and helpful especially (colleen). The only reason for the four-star not the five was 50% of the arcade games were broken and registration is between two buildings. But the View from our campsite beautiful.

Two 18 hole courses with their own theme. Pay for them together if you wanna do both for a discount. They won't give you a discount if you pay for the 2nd one after!
The arcade is really just for little kids - no video games just old timey ones. They have bumper boats as well that you can float around in and shoot water guns with.
Also have icecream and snacks inside where you can escape the sun. Very little shade on the course

Paradise RV Park has gone down hill. As new increase prices to $80 and $99. Has also opened it to the homeless just like the Hotel they own. I am not going to pay $80 to be next to a run down trailer. Also they are taking fence down and leaving it wide open so anyone can come in.
Just a recap, they have gotten ride of the old trailers and now have fixed up park. It looks better, but is still open to all to come threw the park.
Will I stay there, I really don,t Know. Prices are still $80 and $100 a night.
With the improvement they did it looks like they made the site smaller not better. Not much room to put out your awning as you can see by pictures.
They also change there price from $80 to now $75 and $100

As a family of four comprising of 2 kids and 2 adult staying at The Tides Inn, we found the experience to be relatively expensive. Although the mini-golf was free of charge for guests staying at the hotel, we still had to pay a considerable amount for the bumper boats. Even though we enjoyed ourselves, we felt that we didn't get enough time, as we only played for about 15 - 20 minutes, and it cost us over $50.00. Unfortunately, the steep price deterred us from returning for another round/day at this place.

We came here for the first time and had a blast. The course was perfect for families.
There were a lot of people here on Friday night, and yet, it didn't feel uncomfortably crowded. We were able to play at our leisure, and none of the stations felt repetitive. We also appreciated the motions and lights at some of the stations.
We had a blast and look forward to returning for another fun time!

Paradise Lost. Haven't visited in a couple years, but the new owners have clearly let this place go down hill. This used to be THE place of my childhood. Would go every year. But now it's definitely sad and run down.
The course itself was maintained fine, but the arcade is where games go to die. More machines were out of service than were actually working. To get tokens we had to go back out to the front desk, wait in line again (behind a family complaining that nobody was monitoring the group of teenagers loitering on one of the holes), and then wait as the lady counted out the coins one by one.
Prizes... well, we had to wait 10 minutes until the lady came back from her break. And what did we have to choose from? Fruit roll ups..?! Come on.
But hey, I guess buckets of what I think are chlorine are freely available for kids to play with.
Did I mention 1 round of golf for 2 adults and a 3 year old came to $49. Get real!

It's certainly not the most enjoyable place to sit and eat a lunch, hard uncomfortable chairs in a very small cold environment. As for the food we ordered the chicken pizza with everything on it which was huge and absolutely loaded but it was too loaded as most of the ingredients were cool to cold while the pastry was cooked the actual pastry was very tasty and chewy and pizza like and thin crust they get 10 out of 10 for that while our friends ordered the gluten-free pizza which was a third of the size and very disappointing dry and crumbly can't recommend that particularly as it was the same price $23 as our pizza the staff were very friendly and obliging all in all is just the atmosphere there is very cool and impersonal not a comfortable or enjoyable place for lunch

This is an awesome spot for a stop off Resort Dr during your summer vacation. Lots of outdoor seating and family friendly (well separated seating, games available, dog friendly.) Solid flagship beers on tap and the kitchen puts out some very tasty pizza options that don’t fall under the usual lackluster quality food seen at most breweries.

This place was really good. On a sunny summer day, the patio is ALWAYS busy. For good reason. Authentic pizza & beer flights? Yes please!!!
You can really tell the difference between a commercialized pizza & an actual pizzeria. The pizza is not greasy, has a great crust & quality ingredients.
We also got the chicken wings & soft pretzel. The wings were out of this world. I am not sure how they were cooked as the outside looked very light. But they had a great crispyness on the outside & succulent inside.
The pretzel was good but it should come with a dijon/grain mustard instead of a basic yellow mustard. It was still good but should’ve got the beer cheese sauce!

Been going here for awhile, the beer, pizza and employees have all been great! But unfortunately, they've ran into a hiccup with their new Smokehouse Kitchen.. I ordered the pulled pork, brisket and pork belly bites and ALL were extremely dry. Most people think Smoking BBQ is all about the smoke flavour, dry rub or perhaps the BBQ sauce, but all that doesn't matter if you over cook your meat! I'll be giving there smokehouse menu another chance but they really need to go back to the drawing board. Smoking meat is an art, you either go all in, or not at all.

Food and service from our server was great. There was a mix up entering our order and it took a really long time to come out. One item wasn’t entered properly so had to be reordered. So one item was cold by the time we ate it waiting for the second item. Then the server apologized for the mix up and said the forgotten item would be comped. Then she came back and said actually it would be comped half off the price because the new manager said to do that rather than comp the entire item as promised. Overall experience was average which was too bad because it was a special occasion.

Visitors can learn about the background stories behind several buildings and pieces from knowledgeable staff members. Even when closed, the outdoor environment still provides an enjoyable experience for those looking to reminisce or explore.
Even though it was all locked up... still fun to look at buildings and walk around the yard. Really brings back memories. Awesome time just walking around and looking at stuff.

This place is an incredible gem! I can't believe I've never been before. It is a beautiful place to spend an afternoon learning and exploring Parksville history. I love all the old timey set ups - a school house, home, bunkhouse and more! Definitely recommend.

Free outdoor museum that takes you back 100 years, it's definitely worth the stop. Our kids (8-11) loved it and learned a lot. Nice picnic tables and washroom too.

Admission is by donation the museum offers something for all ages. So many Interesting things to see and engage with. I had the fortunate experience of witnessing a blacksmith, creating knives in his workshop. The exhibit includes a soothing outside water feature, surrounded by flowers frequented by small birds, and many benches for relaxing . A joyful experience, kids will like the old fire truck and interactive displays with sounds.

Loved loved loved this place. So much history. Authentic buildings and authentic collections. There is a blurb next to the everything. The host was extra nice and he walked us through and explained several things and told us the background stories for several buildings/pieces. Call ahead for off-season visits! But definitely visit if you get the opportunity!!

We took our children from West Oaks Childcare here a couple of weeks ago. The manager Rachel had set up a private tours for us and gave us so much information about Parksville that was so much fun to learn. It was a really hot day and she set up tents, tables and chairs for us to enjoy our lunch. After lunch she gave all the kids goodie bags! We highly recommend taking your group of children here, we will be visiting this place every summer! Very interactive :)

Such nice people work here. Came in a couple days ago looking for a Vancouver Island decal for the car.
They don’t sell them but the helpful fellow working the front counter gave me a lot of suggestions on where to buy one locally. Then the nice lady in an office chimed in and provided additional info as well.
When I mentioned I had just moved to Parksville they provided a genuinely warm welcome and thanked me for moving here.
As a new Parksvillian it really warms my heart that we have such high calibre people working at our visitor centre.

Awesome place for a fresh new rest stop. Right next to the Museum, which is a small town ! Lots of historic houses and memories. Wasn't open when I was there... but worth the time to return and see it again! Lot of parking.

Wendy I technolologically incline and highly efficient and intelligent. Good for much more than vacuuming and assisting people in such an efficient and helpful manner with maps and suchlike. I do hope that she gets upgraded to a position of higher value of which she can be of greater service to the civic union

Awesome selection of local art for sale! Picked up a piece :) Excellent staff, very helpful, answering all my questions and recommending some great things to see in the area. Much appreciated!
This store is the furthest one from where I live, yet the one I prefer to shop above all the others for two reasons: the produce, and the bakery! The parking area is quite small, but the store has never been crowded when I arrive. It's clean, well stocked, the prices are great and the staff universally and consistently friendly. The meat selection here appears to favor local suppliers, and there is a good variety, although limited seafood selection. I was impressed with the quality of the bakery items available, as well as the deli area, where there are quite a few things that you can't find elsewhere. This store strikes me as one of those "local gems" that people may not realize is as great as it is. It's not a huge store, but they pack a great deal of value. If I could find a salmon pinwheel here one day, I'd stop haunting the competition for convenience and just factor in the extra mileage!!

BUYERS AWARE!! ***I purchased a bag of loaf from the store and realized they have passed the best-before date for a few days. So I returned to the store the next day with the receipt, and told the cashier about the situation. The cashier took the rest of the loaf down from the shelves and asked her supervisor for processing the refund to me. After talking with her supervisor, she told me that nobody at the store can process the refund to me at the moment.. I have never encountered in my life that the store couldn’t provide refund to customers if the *person* has to be in the store to do refund for expired goods. I told her that I don’t live in the area and I won’t come back again for another time. So in the end, I was going to purchase some bake goods and they provided me credits this way. It was my first time visiting the store and it sure is my last time.

This is a one stop shop. Excellent butcher. They source their meat locally whenever they can. The salads are fantastic. Make sure you get one before 2 pm because they sell out. They’re freshly made every day. Bakery is awesome. Many high end products at a reasonable price.

My favourite grocery store. I drive from the north end of Nanaimo to shop here. Especially appreciated are the in-house preps of salads, granola, and meat. Good local produce available as well.

Eat fresh is my go to grocery store for fresh, and resonably priced food.
Their high quality products - meat (in house butcher) seafood, produce, pastries and bread (in house bakery), and prepared foods (in house kitchen) - are all excellent. The prices are on par, or even lower than other stores and they carry an amazing variety of specialty items, given the moderate size of their space.
Staff are particularly friendly and accommodating and the owners are always open to suggestions for new items.
We are fortunate to have them in our mid-Vancouver Island community.

What an incredible selection of groceries!
Visiting from Victoria and they have so many more products. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the store and I love the bakery so much, it is beautiful. Pastries and confectionary like I’ve never seen in Victoria markets. Lady at the bakery corner was so sweet and helpful! It really makes me sad that I have to come so far from home for good product, Victoria needs to step up it’s game really.

What a fantastic Market! I spoke with the owner today to let him know they are so competitively priced and most things are below the prices of other local grocery chains. He took time to explain differences in several products which was so appreciated. Good brands of product, excellent butcher, good produce section. Wonderful!

Friendly store that offers eclectic selection and many great fresh things that they make on site, however check your labels as lately I've picked up things that were past shelf life
One item was past due by 2 years!
And couldn't be consumed.
Quality control is lacking. If you sell expired goods, they need to be labeled as such.

Nice helpful staff, low stock in the morning( I understand it was a holiday but still unfortunate)and expired pickles July 2023 bought today dec 27 2023 cute store and not busy or stressful to shop in.

some products here I really like and some of the best deals in town for certain items !! however got to double check all expiration dates as I've seen many out of date items. The owners kind of took it too far with COVID and the employees just stopped wearing mask only a few months ago.. Will still shop here for the certain items that are very good. Really love the bakery as well

Lovely store. Distancing possible. Masks required, of course, like everywhere. Clean, friendly service and very good prices! Excellent product and produce, some I've not really seen before in the area. Store is easy to find and well-located in Parksville. ❤

My grandmother has been buying cakes here for quite awhile now. Recently she called regarding ordering options and received complete rudeness, upset her so much she will not go back. Horrible customer service and in my opinion the cakes are dry.

I ordered a whole deboned fresh turkey for Christmas, and that is exactly what I got complete with the legs and wings deboned and rolled with the breast and thighs and placed in netting. Picked up the morning of Dec 24th, along with premade stuffing, gravy and turkey stock. Easiest and tastiest Christmas dinner we have had for years. Thank you to the meat department and kitchen for making is so easy.
First time ever kickboxing and can not say enought great things about Cascadia. In my few times I have gone since starting, I have had Brett, Dustin and Katie lead my workouts.
Brett was amazing and he was my first class. He took the time during my first class to ensure I felt comfortable, made sure I was hitting correctly and safely to not injure myself, and motivated me. Amazing first class; felt excited to go back. My second class was with Brett who followed up and continued to correct any movements I was doing incorrectly (to prevent injury) and brought an amazing fun energy to the class. Katie was my fourth class and was great aswell. She could tell I lost the combination and made sure to come over and teach me the combo separately . These three have been amazing and I can not recommend them enough for anyone interested in trying kickboxing. No judgment and great energy from everyone there. 10/10

I found Cascadia Martial arts after 6 different surgeries. I use to be very active and after 2 years off of fitness due to surgery I didn't know where to start with my fitness journey again. My first class with Cascadia was warm and very welcoming. This is my first time boxing and I'm addicted, 3 classes in and I can definitely say I've found my new home when it comes to fitness. Thank you Cascadia for giving me a fun place to be active.

My daughter started Taekwondo when she was so little she doesn’t remember life without Brett and Dustin in it. She’s now 15 and takes their kickboxing classes regularly. I can’t say enough about Cascadia. Wonderful business, great staff, amazing owners.

We love Cascadia! I have three kids, 7, 8 and 11 that joined, and I truly can’t say enough. The instructors are wonderful and in the 6-7 months my kids have been going we’ve had nothing but a great experience. I particularly love the flexibility with the schedule! And seeing my kids gain and grow by being there - strength/fitness, motivation, focus, self-esteem and pride to name a few :)
It started out with one in kickboxing and two in taekwondo but now they do all classes available - they love it there that much. One of my kiddos is neurodivergent and can have some difficulties, so his love of everyone and everything Cascadia says a lot to me as well.
