Point of Sand Beach is a stunning and serene spot on Little Cayman, known for its natural beauty and excellent swimming opportunities. Visitors can enjoy the covered shelter with tables and lounge chairs, but should be aware of strong currents when snorkeling. The beach offers a clean environment and peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal place to relax and appreciate the unspoiled surroundings.
Best beach on the island — beautiful water, beautiful beach!
Quiet, secluded beach with a thatched-roof cabana for shade, a couple of picnic tables, and a few lounge chairs.
Powdery sand and minimal sea grass make it a great place for a swim or a snorkel. Less than 100 feet from shore, you’ll find small coral heads and plenty of marine life: grouper, snapper, tang, jacks, barracuda, and loads of conch. Just remember not to touch, taunt, or take anything.
No restroom or other facilities, so “pack it in, pack it out.”

Current can be very strong at the east as you round the bend to the north— walk down to the west before getting in to snorkel and get out near the shelter before you are swept out to sea.
