Second time we have visited the Arch. What a beautiful place to see and experience. We took a sunset dinner cruise that this was one of the highlights and it never disappoints. We got some great pictures amd met some quality people.

Don’t think i’ve ever had more fun. Took a dinner cruise that was very affordable, had an open bar and obviously free dinner which was actually very good. Played very good music. Had the entire boat dancing and singing. It wasn’t just the boat I was on that was like this, every other boat nearby was doing the same thing. 100% recommend if you are in Cabo.

Great place to visit. If you are lucky you will get to walk through the arc. Best way to get there is rent a boat and have a tour, also make sure to take a jump into the water from their diving rock

Kinda' difficult to say something remarkable after 12k+ great reviews. Yes, it's fantastic. Excellent hikes, unique rock formations, great beaches, fantastic food nearby. People are very friendly, they really like visitors. (Most of them anyway.)

The best way I believe to visit the Arch of Cabo San Lucas is by water taxi. The water taxi is easy to get and inexpensive. The Arch is beautiful and breathtaking. It's awesome to see in person. Highly recommend to see nature's beauty.

the water was so clear & the sights were amazing!!! the tour guides were very knowledgeable & informative. they have their own cultural myths & stories about the shapes on the rocks. we saw seals, fed the fishes, it was so much fun!!

Beautiful scenic area on the water. Only accessible by boat if you want to visit the beach. Tons of boats pass by it constantly and can take away from the experience. Seals are all over in the water, the whales are also close by.

Hop on a boat ride at sunset, you won't regret it. Even if you have to go alone. We went on a dinner cruise and the many vibrant shades of the setting sun were abundant.

Visited Cabo this week for a couple of days and took a clear boat to The Arch of Cabo San Lucas from the Marina. We didn't buy tickets in advance as there were many people on the marina offering different activities. Things were pricey but overall had a great time! Totally recommend the clear boat rides, felt like I went scuba diving with the fishes without getting in the water. But possibly could get a better rate if you buy tickets in advance.

Such AN AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL PLACE! Incredibly beautiful! I read a review in which it said it was like whatever... I must add, if you don't want to see and experience this beautiful world, than this and any other place will be whatever to you. It's beautiful and a place you must visit. Aside from this rock formation, the people were amazing! Buy tickets and haggle enough to pay no more than maybe $30/person if going on a small boat (glass floor) take a sunset cruise, it's amazing! Do both day AND sunset

This place is amazing, the distinctive rock formation at the southern tip where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez and the clear waters makes it easy to snorkel or scuba diving, I spotted a list 50 different kinds of species of fish while snorkeling here. This is a great spot to spend the day, you can arrange with the boat captain to drop you off and pick you up at a later time.

Amazing!! You'll be amazed by the different colors of the waters out there and the beautiful sealife!
We took a water taxi. Vendors are easily found on the beach! We were able to snag a water taxi for only $25USD for the both of us. The going rate seems to be $15-$20 per person.
Would definitely recommend. It does not take long to get there at all from the beaches.

The boat ride was a little sketch... but it was fun, we didn't get off at the beach. Definitely worth seeing up close. Saw some sea lions hanging out.

The Arch is a must see adventure everyone visiting Cabo should do once. Getting up close and taking pictures and a short tour by locals is really nice. On our trip we were over run by little flying bugs. They were mostly annoying, but didn’t really do anything else. Our water taxi was very informative and helpful as far as giving information about checking out Lovers Beach and Divorce Beach! Definitely be very careful on the Pacific Ocean side! The waves can be huge and they will drag you right in! The Arch is cool to see and take a few pictures, lots of sea lions barking in the water. Definitely worth the amount we paid to do this excursion.

The Arch of Cabo San Lucas and was awestruck by the iconic rock formation known as the Arch. It's truly a sight to behold, and the only way to get up close and personal with it is by taking a boat ride. The water is nice blue color and the views of the Arch are absolutely stunning. I highly recommend adding this experience to your Cabo itinerary!

This was a beautiful and magical place. It was out on the point past Lovers Beach and Divorce Beach. My family has a great time and the water taxi was easy to secure at Port for the quick tour.

The Arch of Cabo San Lucas is truly impressive and spectacular, making it a must-see attraction. Highly recommended for any visitor to Cabo, witnessing this natural wonder is an unforgettable experience. To fully appreciate its grandeur, renting a boat is a must—it’s an essential activity that adds an extra layer of awe to your Cabo San Lucas adventure. This iconic landmark is a highlight that should not be missed, making the cabo trip complete.

Real cool spot here!
The boat ride here is the best! You can see all the little fish under the water and have to fight the urge to just jump into the crystal-clear water (atleast me anyway!) If your in Cabo definitely get the boat ride to this spot!

Did a sunset cruise and also a day one. Lovely views, I had a great experience. The sunset cruise was on a catamaran which couldn’t get as close but wasn’t much of the purpose of that sail. The day tour sail was great as we got close to the arch.

It’s Land”s End, the most southern tip of Baja Peninsula.
THE REAL TREASURE IN THIS AREA ARE THE SEA LIONS, basking in the sun on a rock. 😎😎😎
The vista of a coastal community is also lovely👍👍👍. It reminds of the Almalfi Coast in Italy.
But there’s NOTHING SPECIAL about the hole through a granite rock people seem to rave about.
— While rock itself emerged from tectonic activity in the Baja some millions of years ago, “El Arco” is merely a result of erosion of the rock due to violent waves from the Pacific.
— This hole in the rock is but a reminder that the ocean is not peaceful (pacific) at all. It was wrongly named by Magellan in 1520 when his expedition from Spain sailed into a calm day.
This is accessible only by boat. Swimming is not advisable given the strong currents.
It’s a tourism hype. Nothing special.

Tourists visit this area to indulge in seafood delicacies at its exquisite restaurants and relax at luxurious hotels with swim-up bars. Lovers Beach and Divorce Beach, nearby, are highly sought after for sunbathing and swimming, while boat tours stop by the iconic Arch rock formation. Mt. Solmar is a hiking area in Cabo where visitors can learn about the history of the region and its people. The hike is short (2-3 miles) but challenging, with the entrance located on private property owned by a dog trainer who acts as a tour guide while walking his dogs on the mountain. The hike offers stunning views and unique geological formations shaped by harmonic frequencies from the water on both sides.
My wife and I went on the hike with dog whisper and of course all of his dogs :) It was a wonderful way to learn about the history of Cabo and all the people that had lived there a long time ago. It was wild hearing about how the harmonic frequencies affect the land formation from the way the water is on both sides of the point. It isn't an easy hike at all, but there is great reward for those who work for it!

This is simply a must do bucket list while in Cabo. A moderate type hike that starts off fairly easy, going up on a gradual slope on an old access road used for the old fish cannery back in the day.
You first have to wait at a gate basically on the other side of the road from the Navel Station. Where Enrique who runs a dog daycare and Dog Rescue will let you in and guide you to the top. He usually opens the gate at around 8:00-15 am in the morning.
At about halfway up he stops and gives you a little history lesson about the entire area.
After the little history lesson is where it starts to get a little bit more difficult, as he takes you up the one side of the mountain. There's definitely a little climbing involved but I've seen people in their 70's and 80's do it. Plus my brother did the climb 3 months after Knee Replacement Surgery.
Once up top the view speaks for itself 😃👍👍 on the way down he takes you down the other side of Mt. Solmar and is less steep then the other side.
At the end of the hike there's a donation box that he uses the money for his dog rescue which is part of his property.
Its a great hike to do as it truly has some amazing views up top...
In all total time from start to finish. Is roughly an Hour and a Half 😃

I recently experienced the Mt. Solamar hike led by guide Enrique and his dogs, and it was a unique adventure. Starting with an informative introduction about the mountain's history, Enrique took us on a challenging ascent, with two stops that showcased the strenuous but rewarding climb. The breathtaking view of Cabo San Lucas from the top made the effort worthwhile. The descent, though steep, offered a different perspective. It's important to note that this hike may not be suitable for everyone, but for those seeking a heart-pounding adventure, it's perfect. The whole experience, including breaks, lasted over 1 hour and 40 minutes, and leaving a tip for the guide at the end is customary. Overall, a memorable and invigorating hike for those up to the challenge.

This is a must do when in Cabo! But be ready for a challenging and difficult hike if you're older. I am 66 and found it to be hard, but not impossible. Enrique, our guide is awesome and knowledgeable about the history of the area. The hike is free. Just show up at 8 am. My suggestion is to bring water and a pair of gloves and good hiking boots. The view from the top is gorgeous and amazing. Well, it's worth the time to do this hike.

It’s a short hike (2-3miles), but it’s not a easy hike. The entrance is located in this dog trainer’s private property. He acts as a tour guide while walking the dogs on the mountain. I was a little afraid of big dogs, but the dogs didn’t bother me much. No payment is required but tips are expected.

This hike had very amazing views of the city, beaches and the ocean. It’s a private hike and do not appear on all trails, just google and head to the dog training camp. We were there by 8am and parked our car 3 mins walk away in a paid parking area.
It is a free(except for the tips) short hike(1.5-2 miles) but not an easy one and will be accompanied with a lot of dogs. Must do hike in the area.

A must do while in Cabo. Times Sunday thru Friday be there at 8am to be let in gate. Hike starts about 15 mins after. The dogs are all friendly and they are there to help protect you from snakes. Bring bottled water you will get dehydrated from the sun and the climb up. Have fun I would go again. Enrique is a great guide and he will give you a history lesson along the way.

Excellent to hike this with the pups. Would recommend to people that like dogs and are okay with a bit of a scramble at the end for the hike. All in all, takes about 2 hours.

What an adventure! I thought the way up was something until the route down! I would have to agree with another reviewer when they said that this was more of "rock climbing more than a hike" Indeed it was! But it was quite well worth the rock climbing adventure! All while getting history of the Cabo area while on the way up. The views and the air at the top were absolutely breathtaking, literally! The pictures do no justice. The dogs🐕were a plus, they assisted many of us, but we all encourage each other both ways. It was a great workout and beatiutful 🏞 scenes all in one! I'm so glad that I followed through with going on these adventures. My friends bailed on me, but I'm glad I continued my adventure⛰️
This area was very close to the downtown area as I was here just a short time ago and hate I missed this gem then, but glad I didn't this time around. This is private property so make sure you plan accordingly and make sure you tip your guide on the way out🤗 #mysolmar #loscabo #cabosanlucas #dogtraingcamp #privateproperty #notfortheweak #nottourguideassited #pelicanrock #hurricanpath 💯

Highly recommend the hike. Simple and easy to do.
It can be confusing where to start so I'll help you. Listen for the dogs! The start of the hike is within the kennel compound. You will be let in by the owner who takes care of the dogs. Once you're inside, a small speech will take place to let you know about the safety aspects of the hike. Do's and don'ts.
The hike itself is free, but it's advisable to tip as he does this for everyone in his own spare time.
There are some speeches on the way up. Feel free to listen or not. You'll understand why. It's all part of the experience.
As you can see, the views from the top are very rewarding.

What a hike! Not too hard and the view was a 100% worth it. I see some lame reviewers on here knocking Enrique the guide who owns the dog daycare / rescue sanctuary on the bottom of the hill.. he doesn’t demand payment or anything. Just recommends you go with him and his pack of dogs in case anyone falls or worse, you meet a lovely poisonous snake on the hike up. (He also makes sure lazy tourists don’t litter which I really appreciate)
Befriended an amazing Bostonian on the hike as well! S/o Kim

I had a wonderful hiking experience with Enrique. He is extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area. The views from the summit were breathtaking. It is important to note that this is not just a leisurely hike. There are sections that require some scrambling and climbing, so it is advisable to be in good physical condition before attempting this hike. Once we reached the summit, we were fortunate enough to spot several whales.

One of the coolest travel experiences I’ve had. We were in Cabo for a wedding and we were looking for something to do off of the resort. The hike is more of a rock climb that does take some physical ability, but the views are simply breathtaking and the dogs make it that much more amazing!

Beautiful views! Excellent detox. Arrive at 8am at the dog training camp for the 8:15am hike. No reservations. Enrique is passionate about sharing his knowledge of the land. The dogs are a joy to hike with. Bring water. Distance is not far (maybe a mile) but you are climbing. Probably took 1.5 hrs total.

We heard about this hike through someone we met on a whale watch cruise.
We were staying in Pedregal is a short walk.
Enrique runs this hike along with his friendly dogs. Other walkers brought there dogs. We saw golden retriever, marmaduke, bulldog, French bulldog and German shepherd.
We had over 50 participants along with the dogs. The terrain has a steep incline and is rocky and slippery due to the sand and gravel.
The hike is free, end of the hike there is a tip box for donations.
A must do in Cabo.

Pelican Rock and the surrounding water is simply fantastic, especially if you want to snorkel or dive. The rocks provide a bit of an enclosure for you to be able to swim easily. The species of fish you will find are plentiful and you will not miss out seeing hundreds of fish literally.
Easy water taxi ride over and well worth it. By far one of the best areas to swim in the ocean, especially if you aren’t looking for the typical Beach with vendors.
Do NOT miss Pelican Rock when visiting Cabo San Lucas!

You can bargain for the water taxi. We got it to be 8$ per person with boat taking us to the rock and waiting for us to jump off the top couple of times. Then taking us to the beach and picking us up later in the day. Originally they wanted 30$. Water is deep and the jump is super fun! Sometimes waves are high and they won’t let you go to the beach so maybe call in advance!

Great experience, the local boat driver was amazing and showed us so much. The he took us back to the pelican rock beach. The beach was nice but it was crowded as the day went on. Nothing terrible just crowded. We went snorkeling and on the north side of the rock there are a ton of fish that you can see from the surface. Anytime you want to go snorkeling I would recommend brining your own snorkel gear the local gear is usually broken.

Might be one of the best snorkeling spots in Cabo. It's at least as good as Santa Maria Cove and Chileno Bay, both much longer boat rides up the Sea of Cortez coast. A concession was renting snorkeling equipment right on the beach the day I took a water taxi from the port to the site.

A small square in front of a large shopping mall. It’s part of the concrete jungle of the Cabo marina.
There are many shops like any other mall anywhere. On balance, it’s nothing really memorable. Having been constructed in a heavy tourist area, one would have expected something extraordinary.

A busy mall with many stores, from some with great bargains to some high end. Food court options could have been better, and some of the escalators were out of order, despite the need to use them to get upstairs. There were nice common sitting areas , and a great supermarket. Would have been a 5 star review had the escalators been working and the food court options been better.

While walking around the harbor for a place to snorkel and get cool, we stumbled across this great locals beach. Immediately we could tell the difference between the insistence of the vendors at the harbor and on the beach. We walked to the quiet end of the beach and set down our towels near a beautiful small family and felt safe and secure enough to both go snorkeling. This is a great beach! As a local beach, you definitely have the opportunity to not feel like a tourist. There were donuts and tómales to buy, which were authentic. The cliffs also block the sun by 3pm so that’s good to know. I would totally recommend walking a while and even crossing the water to go to the more secluded part of the beach (you have to go by the waste-deep water or climb the rocks (a seemingly challenging climb) , but it is definitely a challenge to get there. We felt safe enough leaving our things and snorkeling in the water for 50+ minutes. By the rocks is better! Bring some tequila and have great time, just like we did.

The resort's remarkable position makes it an ideal base to explore the stunning Lands End attraction in Cabo. Visitors can partake in exhilarating activities such as kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) to reach El Arco (the Arch), a natural feature that fills partially with seawater.
We have been here several times and will continue to return to this resort. The staff are very friendly, the amenities are great, and the food is fantastic. The Marina is only a 15 minute walk away so shopping and nightlife off the resort is very close by. This resort location (Solmar Land's End) is at the southern-most end of the beach strip so it's as close to private as you can get. Our April trip allowed us to watch the whales head north from the comfort of our pool chairs!

The staff was helpful and nice. We stated in a room with a little kitchen, so cooking was an option. I personally found the prices of the food within the resort to be a bit pricey but it's quite close to good restaurants and the marina. The views from the room were really nice. The pools were clean and there were plenty of chairs.

The hotel location is nice. The amenities are ok and so is the food. If you plan on staying the whole day, it's definitely worth getting all inclusive for the day. It's nice they have the option to do so. The rooms do feel a bit dated though and sometimes the service can be hit and miss. The staff are nice and friendly though.
Winston Lin — Google review
We booked it for one night without all inclusive. It was great and much cheaper. Honestly we didn't think all inclusive of solmar is worth it. It only includes food. Everything else you can have access to. They have nice infinity pool on the Grand Solmar side. Rooms were clean. Staff was great. Breakfast was also nice and much cheaper than all inclusive. The only problem is this hotel is bit of a walk (20-25 minutes) from marina and all happening places outside.

Great location and very friendly staff. The rooms a little dated but well maintained. Drinks can get pricey. The all inclusive is worth it if you are going have out all day.

Rooms were nice...ours had a kitchenette. We ate out for dinners but fixed our own breakfasts and lunch. The Tejaban restaurant at Solmar was nothing to write home about. I suggest walking to the Marina and eating at a restaurant. Better food by far! The service at Solmar was exceptional! Noe the concierge was awesome and extremely helpful! We enjoyed the swim up bar and relaxing pool! At times, we had the entire pool to ourselves. One of the perks to traveling in the off season which is HOT and also has the occasional hurricane. The Solmar is located on a red flag beach, which is beautiful but not a swimming beach. Great place to see huge crashing waves!

We absolutely adored this hotel. I just was flabbergasted that it felt as though we had rented this entire resort to ourselves. We arrived Oct 4 and for the end of that week I bet there were fewer than 30 people in the resort. By the weekend the business had picked up, but the restaurants were nearly empty and there was never a queue for anything. The entire staff was super helpful and courteous: Luis and Ibis were incredible bellboys, our housekeeper Yessi kept the cleanest room ever ever had, and Veronica and Michelle were very helpful in helping us schedule and plan out our week. HUGE thank you to the Solmar Group—it was enough to encourage us to become owners!!

I will highly recommend Solmar Resort. It was clean, the staff offered excellent service, and the location is close to the marina and beautiful beach. Its walking distance from downtown (Uber costs 2-3$ from resort to downtown), Resort has both sunrise and sunset views. Luisa at the front desk was amazing. She could not find my reservation ( which was paid for) and needed to put a hold on my credit card, in lieu of this minor discomfort she upgraded my room to a suite with a sea facing view. Resort offers on site covid testing ($24).
A tip - book your airport shuttle via the resort for your trip ($21 one way)

Beautiful resort. The view from our room was spectacular. Food and drinks were decent. We did not do all inclusive. It is a cashless resort. Great location. About a 10 to 15 min walk into town. Cabs were cheap. Only downfall is that side of the beach you can not get in due to Riptides, sharp drop offs and high waves. Would recommend.
Audias A — Google review
Amazing view and great location. Rooms are luxurious. Cabo is hot and humid during the summer but the resort has a constant breeze coming off the ocean so it is generally cooler.
Mark Hancock — Google review
The bed is really comfortable, the shower great. Those are the best things of the room.
The staff is friendly, funny and helpful.
The food. DON’T EAT OR DRINK HERE. One of my worst experience. Low quality ingredients, no flavor, really awful and EXPENSIVE.
If you order a Vodka, they will give you “Karat” $5 dollars brand bottle. If you order a mojito, they will give you “Cuba Caña” rum. You could not even find that brand in the website. Bring your own bottles.
The hotel has a private beach. Always closed because is an open sea. Of course no one will swim there BUT as a guest at least you want to walk and feel the sea water. Forget it. Security guys will whistle you to get out and enjoy the waves from 200 feet away.
Raul Rivero — Google review
Great hotel, but all the extras add up fast. $25 for a mojito, $22 for a hamburger (w/fries). Getting the All Inclusive for $90 a person makes a lot of sense of you will be hanging out at the hotel for most of the day. But the rooms are great, and the service was excellent.
No swimming or even wading on the beach, but the surf is fun to watch.
El Medano Beach, situated in a rocky bay in Los Cabos, is a crescent-shaped swimming spot that offers safe and calm waters for families. This popular beach features resorts, high-rise apartment buildings with beachfront restaurants and bars lining the sands. Vendors stroll the sands selling souvenirs throughout the day and at night, it turns into Los Cabos nightlife hub.
Great beach close to downtown CSL and marina. Good to get an umbrella and a few beers to relax on the beach and dip in the water.
Lots of vendors selling all kinds of goodies including massage too. Beautiful scenery.

It is one of the largest public beaches, it has beautiful views mainly of the arch, it is not kept as clean and there are not as many showers, bathrooms and garbage cans since it is more open, there is a lot of street vendors and the beach is very crowded at certain times of the day , is close to many bars, restaurants and beach clubs; also is petfriendly!

Beautiful beach with many restaurant options to choose from. It’s right in the marina, so be prepared to see boats there. Several vendors walking. The only negative is parking it was hard for me to find a parking near by. Overall it was a pleasant beach to relax.

Beautiful beach, clean and well taken care of. Lots of vendors, which I personally like. The water was nice and cold, perfect for the sunny weather!

Love this Beach great place to swim in Cabo. Plenty of places to grab a drink at set down enjoy the beautiful water.
Dan Wise — Google review
The blue water is the first thing to catch your eyes! Deep blue colors of different shades, what a tropical place should look like! The down side to this beach is the slope and very course sand. It’s nice to walk along this stretch of beach from the marina all the way to the rock outcropping. You pass many resorts, vendors and all the sights in between. Heading towards the rock outcropping gives the best opportunity to see the arch. The slope to the beach and contour of the ocean floor leads this to have strong waves along the shore. The water in the ocean is typically warm enough to swim. You simply need to time the rush of the waves to enter and exit. Pay attention and it’s not for the faint of heart, as the ocean often will roll tourists after knocking their feet out from beneath them. There is a ton of power and daily you can see someone swept off their feet. If you’re not up for the challenge stay by the pool and watch the ocean from your lounger or the beach.

This beach is awesome, beautiful, and full of endless fun. Medano Beach has plenty of restaurants for everyone. They have residents walking along the beach selling souvenirs, helping tourists get beach furniture, and settling down the family. Most of all, they have endless tours that are priced fairly for the family to enjoy.

Medano Beach is a short walk east of the Marina. Beautiful beach with a lot of energy, amazing restaurants and hotels. Whether you want to chill or get involved with the party at Mango deck it’s always a fun time.

Beautiful beach, always clean and easy walk to anywhere. It's easy to catch a water taxi to the Marina or Lovers Beach.
Lovers Beach, also known as Playa del Amor, is a stunning and picturesque remote beach located in Cabo San Lucas. It can only be accessed by boat from Cabo Marina or Playa El Medano. This beach is famous for its golden sands and dramatic limestone rock formations. To get to Lovers Beach, tourists can take various tours that will take them past iconic rock formations such as El Arco, Pelican Rock, and Neptunes Finger.

Beautiful but small. Waves were crazy so not relaxing at all if you want to be in the water. It was a "must see" here so we did it but don't feel the need to go back. Pack enough food and drinks; beach blanket. A couple of people were there selling drinks, Mango and coconut but that's it. No bathrooms. People were also there selling jewelry, pictures with iguanas, hair braiding and massages.
Was a pain to get to. We went through the Solmar Resort, walked down the beach to the end but the climb to Lovers beach was way too dangerous. A younger couple with backpacks even attempted and backed out so figured it wasn't a good idea for us. We ended up getting a water taxi for $20 each person for a round trip. The taxi took us to see Lands End and El Arco so was worth it. Plus we stayed a few hours.
Divorce beach is actually way bigger but not swimmable.

One of my favorite beaches. Totally worth the water taxi drive down. Got there as part of our tour with Novo Tours. It’s honestly breathtakingly beautiful and the highlight of my trip. The water was also so nice to swim in!

The beach is worth to explore. The water taxis will drop you here and you can walk around and explore the beach. If you have intentions to explore the areas then please please bring a pair of good shoes that helps to climb rock formations. With Sandals it is very risky.
Rakhesh Raveendran — Google review
A very beautiful beach, however here the water is deeper, on one side you have the sea of the Gulf of California and on the other the Pacific Ocean, the sea can be very deceptive and tricky, it made me very sad to see how they tried to revive a drowned person, so if you go to this place do not drink and swim with caution.
Paulina Pedrero Miranda — Google review
Great for swimming and beautiful views, worth the water taxi over from the main land
Ben Cronsberry — Google review
Lovers beach is a nice spot but busy because of the swimming.
But Divorce beach is by far more spectacular. Waves crashing on the shore and mountains surrounding the beach. Incredible views. More private.

You can actually walk to this beach via Solmar Resort even if you’re not staying there. But it is very challenging and involves scrambling. Fun though! The map and instructions are on All Trails.

Amazing and beautiful beach not far from Cabo San Lucas. At the local marina, you should be able to find a.boat for a tour and drop off and pick up here for around 200 pesos per person. As you get dropped off, just advise what time you want to be picked up. No restrooms here or services.
Matthew — Google review
Peaceful beach with lots of tourists. Can be accessed with water taxi. The opposite side is the Divorce beach.

The place is stunning!
But be ready, to get there is a little adventure.
The only way is through a resort: the guard brings you through the resort until a wonderful beach with big waves, then you have to walk along the beach until a rock formation and do a bit of rock climbing to get in the other side where a paradise beach is waiting.
Gym shoes are mandatory for the rocks! don’t try with sandals, it’s slippery.
Anyway I’m my point of view, the beauty of the place pay the effort to reach it.

Very scenic and fun island. This beach is unique in that on its north side is the Gulf of California, with calm waters and great for swimming; and on the south side, is the Pacific, which despite its name, is anything but calm. I should know, because I climbed onto some of the rocks near the shore on the Pacific side, and while out there, a huge wave came in and knocked me down it, causing me to fall about a storey in height onto the beach below. Luckily I came away with only some minor scratches and moderate bruisings on both my feet, legs and knees, but I definitely wouldn't test my luck again there. Here are a few pictures I took of the beach and some cool rock formations on it.

Amazing beach! The lovers Beach area on the bay side is fine for strong swimmers, but the open side has huge waves and strong currents.
The Museum of Natural History in Cabo San Lucas is a small venue showcasing geological and archaeological artifacts from the history of Baja California Sur. While the displays offer insight into the founding and growth of Cabo, some visitors have noted a lack of English texts and outdated exhibits. Nonetheless, admission is affordable at 20 pesos (around $1 USD) making it a worthwhile stop for those interested in learning about local natural history.
Great local museum to refresh your knowledge of earth natural history and some local history. Only $2 per person. It has English descriptions in each exhibit too. An hour and a half well spent. Highly recommend to add to a variety of local activities

Reasonable entry fee. Informative displays and presentations. I learned a lot about the geology and anthropology of the southern Baja peninsula. I spent 30 minutes there, but there's more I wanted to read but didn't have time.

Nice change of pace to get a little time out of the sun. A/C! It was interesting to read about the geologic history of this area and about some of the people. There was a lot of information in Spanish and enough in English to get the necessary information. Would have been nice to have the last room in English as well. We enjoyed it. Clean bathrooms. Great plaza outside.

Nice museum to visit as a tourist. It's not glamorous but really puts into perspective the history of Cabo.
I suggest bringing mexican pesos as it's cheaper to enter the place that way.
Parking is available on the street. This place might be hard to visit as it's not accessibility friendly.

Small place, but I live here and first time I go! It has good history facts about cabo and how it was founded and when it first started growing, and historical dates, although I can talk Spanish really good my reading isn't so good so could be more, English texts, as well things look a bit old and could be changed, but it was only 20 pesos mx (1 USD) to get in so quite cheap, I think its a must if you want to learn about cabo and its history!
Juan Antonio Cabrera Carrasco — Google review
Quaint local museum on edge of a lovely park, with lots of shade areas and seating.
The museum was a bit tired in places, with tatty signs and some displays a bit old. There are limited English explanations, and sadly almost none on the history of the development of Cabo as a holiday destination, which is a shame as the photos looked very interesting. The murals around the walls were beautifully painted.
The displays about the history of local people and the various tribes, how they lived was fascinating and I would have liked to see more about this side of their cultural history.
However, it’s a nice place to go if you want to do something else in Cabo that you isn’t beach or marina related, and it was cheap to get in. They had excellent Covid restrictions in place and it felt safe for this reason.
More English text would be a bonus !

great place to walk, feels not really safe, when you walk and carrying the big camera, then the local people keep looking at you. The local store they accept USD currency also, but they gonna charge you more.
The Quivira Golf Club is a stunning golf course situated atop a cliff with breathtaking ocean views. The course comprises 18 holes, and there is a clubhouse that offers dining facilities. It is well-maintained with challenging layouts, true greens, and numerous risk/reward shots designed by Nicklaus himself. The fee for guests of Pueblo Bonito is reasonable, and the service provided is exceptional.
It's a spectacular course in pristine condition. The views are amazing, the layout is challenging and the greens run true. Because this was my first time my score really didn't do this course justice and, in true Nicklaus fashion there are a lot of risk/reward shots and visually deceiving layouts. The fee is reasonable if you're a Pueblo Bonito guest and the service is outstanding. If I had more time I would play another round because this is one those courses where familiarity with its layout should benefit the player greatly. But, the beauty of the scenic views at times are a "distraction", but in a good way. I will be coming back here to Cabo just for this golf course.

Amazing golf course. Service and staff were great. Range was great with plenty of room. The course is in great shape. Very difficult course with lots of creative holes. Especially a few that are on the side of the cliff. Views everywhere. Challenges on every hole. Worth every penny. Comfort stations were very nice with good food and snack options. Only critique would be practically no cart paths and signage was sometimes non existent so we guessed where we were going to the next hole. Overall great round of golf.

This is a great course right there on the Pacific side of the ocean. It's definitely not for beginners especially when the wind starts to pick up but there are some amazing holes to play there. Check out my photos!

If someone told me it was going to take almost 6 hours to play a round of golf I would've said pass. That would've been a huge mistake! We never wanted it to end. Quivira is an amazing place with breathtaking views , golf holes you won't see anywhere with first class staff. If you ever get the opportunity 💯 go for it. Ive played several bucket list courses and Quivira exceeded expectations.

Heading to the 6th hole , I was blown away by the scenery. The course was beautiful and fair. The amenities were second to none particularly the 3-4 hospitality stations. I have played many courses around the U.S , Caribbean , Scotland and Ireland and Quivira Golf Club was one of the best!

The best course I’ve ever played in Cabo, maybe all time. Amazing views and scenery coupled with great variety on every hole. Did not disappoint. The ocean views are breath taking. Don’t plan on rushing through the course, stop and enjoy. With multiple refreshment / snack locations on the course and lunch on the turn the round will be a bit longer than normal. Definitely recommend for anyone in the area if you can get access.

What a fantastic experience today at Quivira Golf Club. Luis Rosas gave us a great tour today. We especially enjoyed hitting balls and watching the whales. Thank you Luis. Great job! You are a true professional and made us feel welcome.

The course was beautiful. Very well kept fairways and greens. Very good service.
The constant wind makes this course difficult to play, 2-3 holes (the pretty ones with pics by the water) are virtually un playable unfortunately. The sand is blown up by the wind and pelts you as you play holes 6-15 (bring sunglasses). From what I have been told, the wind here is constant - the locals will tell you otherwise.
There is a lot of construction going on around the first five holes resulting in garbage and jack hammer noise.
The green fees are very high considering what was mentioned above. They also do not allow you to share clubs (another $75 fee to rent theirs).
Overall not a great experience for the price. Fairly disappointed as my family heard this was a once in a lifetime course to play.

The best golf course I’ve ever played at. The comfort stations are amazing every 4 or 5 holes to refuel with some food/booze. The most relaxed round of golf I’ve ever experienced. Great ocean views. The staff were very friendly and nice. Honestly can’t wait to go back. Next level golf right here.

When you pay $300 for a round of golf (twilight rate), your expectations tend to run high. The course is very nice but with several holes that are quirky in terms of direction and distance. The views are beautiful, and the grass is lush. Greens are fairly quick, with a couple that have some rough patches. Comfort stations are generously stocked with food and beverages, but they definitely slow the pace of play to a crawl. Our round lasted just over 5 hours and ended in total darkness on 18. Golf carts are equipped with electronics that provide pictures and distances for each hole. The pro shop has a fantastic selection of shirts and women's fashions that are very nice but also very expensive. Expect to pay $200 or more for a golf shirt or a women's golf skirt. There is a beautiful practice facility and plenty of attention by the staff there to keep your clubs clean. If the prices aren't a concern, then this is a great place to golf and enjoy your time at Sunset Beach.
Greg Valdez — Google review
On the plus side...the course design, conditions and service are just incredible. We played with local owners so we got their $195 resident rate which is the deal of the century considering the stunning course and the "all-you-can-eat-and-drink" comfort stations.
The 1st 5 holes get you going nicely with perfect grass and greens and a strategic risk/reward design. This is followed by a solid 10 minute drive up the mountain to the 1st comfort station and the stunning (and hard) 6th and 7th holes right on the ocean and into the ever-present wind. The 8th and 9th get really hard as the 20-30mph winds punishes any slightly mis-hit ball or any ball that's hit higher than 10' in the air. Another comfort station awaits you at the 10th hole along with a manageable par 3 that is kind of cross/downwind. Then back into the wind for 11-13 before you get to another stunning ocean par 3 hole at the 14th. The 15th-18th offer a fun, beautiful and challenging set of holes to finish up.
The only downside to the course/facility is the 5+ hour rounds that are almost unavoidable given the difficult course, the wind and the unlimited food and booze at the comfort stations. On our 2nd day we (and everyone else) got stuck behind a bunch of millennials in town for a wedding who started out OK but were all hammered by the 11-12th hole and got slower and slower. Between the booze, the heat and the multiple newbs in each group, it was brutal watching them screw around for 10 minutes on the tee box and then 10 minutes in the fairway and then 10 minutes on the greens. You wish a ranger would appear but I have no doubt they all paid the $400 non-resident rate and they wanted to eat/drink their money's worth.
With that griping done, it really is a bucket list course that I can't wait to play again. Plus I played the 3 signature ocean holes birdie, par, birdie so I'll need to try to repeat that bit of miracle golf :)

This is the 3rd year golfing at Quivira. The Nicklaus course offers breathtaking views of the Pacific with a variety of challenging holes. The service is excellent from the time the shuttle drops you off to the completion of your round.
Three comfort stations are located throughout the course providing snacks, sliders, tacos and your choice of beverage. Coolers with ample bottled water are on the carts that are equipped with GPS.
Post round, the Quivira Steakhouse is a perfect place to view the sunset and enjoy a wonderful meal.

Don’t confuse these 5-star reviews for the view. This golf course operations program is a dumpster fire.
We booked appointments for three people months ago to be told two weeks prior to arriving we needed to pay again. After days of arguing with them they somehow found our payments. We showed up today and they had no record of our reservation and took some time to find the payment -
Wasting our time.
We were hurried along on hole 8 just to be hit with a backup of 8 other groups. Which ultimately did not allow to finish the course before darkness came.
There are four “comfort stations” for drink and food. The first station only has drinks right at hole 1. The next shack ran out of food. Hole 9 had only sliders or scrambled eggs - with massive amount of flies. And the last one near hope 17 was closed due to the massive backup.
We were hurried off the course not finishing the last two holes.
And somewhere around hole 12 there was a massive water sprayer shooting sewage water on players, which you were forced to drive through. The wind was also carrying it making it unbearable and getting players wet on the adjoining hole.
Finally, got back and asked for two shots from the bar at the lobby. $50 for two shots of Don Julio.
The views were awesome and it is a unique course. But not worth the hype and there is nowhere near a value of $300-360 per person to play here.

Great course! Good mix of long and short, narrow and wide holes. Well maintained. Price for booking includes cart, clubs and some balls, plus free food (made to order off the grill and small snacks) and drinks on the course at the 3 refreshment stations. Some stunning views on the cliff side holes. We actually saw whales breaching/jumping out of the water while on the course - pretty cool!

Literally what it says. It's where the land ends. Picturesque peninsula with two beaches (Lover's and Divorce), the famous arch, Scooby-Doo rock, etc.
Most people just take a boat around the peninsula and go to the aforementioned beaches. You can hike the peninsula, however. The peninsula is super busy with boats and very crowded. Rough water, too. Expect boats galore.
Do love the rock formations, and the appeal is warranted.
