Playa Zicatela is a renowned destination for surfers worldwide, famous for its 3km-long beach and powerful waves commonly known as the Mexican Pipeline. The heart of this action lies at the northern end of Zicatela, but caution is advised as the waters can have strong undertows that make it unsafe for novice surfers or anyone without a board. Lifeguards are frequently called to rescue those who ignore warnings.
Waves, babes, and sunsets. This beach is great for the experienced surfer and there is more than enough room to spread out and find a a place to sunbath in peace.

Great beach, we walk it first thing in the morning. You also get to see surf's out first thing in the morning surfing the waves.

This is a nice long beach. There are some quieter spots.

Beautiful, long, uninterrupted beach. Perfect for walking and the best for sunset. If you want to swim more then head slightly north to the corner of the beach (past the rocks) where it meets Playa Principal. Here you can swim with the smaller waves

Perfect for surfers but also to relax and enjoy sunset and night life. Close to other beautiful beaches and local towns. I loved watching the surfers 🏄♂️ feel the magic of the waves.

Nice and clean. Good for surfing and relax with the sound of the waves. Nice restaurants by the beach to have a nice dinner and good time.

Not for swimming. Again! Don't get in the water if you aren't a waterman. The rip current is just as strong when the waves are 15+ ft as they are 5ft. The lifeguards will kick you out sooner than later. The beach is not for swimming

Beautiful beach with nice bars and restaurants nearby

It’s satisfying walking on a long sandy beach with the surf crashing next to you as you carefully place each foot step on the sand. Occasionally feeling the last remnants of a wave cool off your feet. Great beach.

A beautiful beach for a sunset stroll. Not great for swimming but great for watching the waves and for surfing. Busy place but also chill at the same time. So many options for restaurants and bars as well.

Beautiful beach, but you cannot swim sure to the waves. But a cool experience with nice beach clubs

Stunning beach for sunset

Hit it 👍🏿! It is obviously a very long beach so you could be anywhere you want. Near people and restaurants and music or just by yourself. Be careful in the waves as they're actually quite powerful and strong. I got really lucky sitting there. A turtle made its way out of the water. Laid some eggs and then made its way back to the ocean.
Laguna Manialtepec, a travel agency in Puerto Escondido, offers a peaceful day trip to a beautiful coastal lagoon surrounded by mangroves and wetlands. The area is home to various bird species, including ibises, ospreys, and herons. Visitors can rent kayaks or boats to paddle around the tranquil waters while admiring the stunning scenery.
Chill place to paddle in boat 🚣♀️ around. We came here part of a tour package. After sunset, the mosquitoes 🦟 are brutal out here... it’s happy hour and our block is the mosquitos favorite cocktail.

Very easy walk in this park. You will be pressured to get guild, not necessary. buy Tickets ONLINE. If monkeys or sloth spotted there will enough looking up to know where they are. The guides will have telescope for you to see animals better and find the snakes and small creatures so not a bad idea to hire. They have closed restaurant in park so white faced monkeys not hanging out there. You can bring sandwich and water but NO plastic water bottles.

It’s cool for a few minutes but gets old pretty quick. The light is dimmer than anything you see in pictures - looks like a faint white. Still a cool experience.

Beautiful location. We rented a kayak and paddled around the area for 2 hours. We could have easily spent longer. This is definitely a place for bird watchers to visit. We went early (8am) and by 10am it was getting pretty hot. There was not much wildlife to be seen other than birds, but the trees were gorgeous.

Very impressive almost unreal what goes on the water at night. This time around seen the bioluminescence white 🤍 and was able to swim in the water for about 30 minutes under a floating 🎪 tent... Once in a lifetime experience....

The birdwatching tour in the lagoon was a highlight of our trip to Puerto Escondido. We used Manglar Tours. This is a special place
Patricia Schafer — Google review
Fake listing. Don’t pay these inflated prices. The laguna/lake is found 20 minutes west of Puerto Escondido, you can see it on the map. Just drive there between sunset and 9:30pm and you’ll only pay 150 pesos to have a tour.
Bingsu — Google review
MAGICAL!!!
Tips that I think would be helpful to know:
We booked a lagoon tour via WhatsApp with Restaurant La Rosa de Monterrubia, a lovely chap named Antonio. We spent a little extra on a private tour so we could go later when it was fully dark (very important - light and full moons are no bueno). Antonio gave us a price much lower than the larger group tours we were trying to book from the bigger places. We got a taxi from PE which took about 20 min each way. Arrived 8:15pm, well after sunset.
It was a little spooky pulling up to the restaurant when it was dark, after all the other tourists have left. But Antonio greeted us straight away and walked us down a wooden walkway to the dock.
A 20 min boat ride along the lagoon takes you to the swimming area where the luminescence is indescribable. That would’ve been more than enough value for our money. But we then cruised another 15 min or so to where the river meets the lagoon, and that is where I won’t spoil the magical display that awaits you. You CANNOT swim in this area, which has crocodiles, but if you’re lucky you’ll see their red eyes in the light and get a thrill.
The stars were incredible to gaze during the serene drive back on the calmest waters you’ve ever seen (sit up front).
Highly recommend!

One of the most beautifully places I've been, must to go
Playa Carrizalillo is a stunning beach located in a sheltered cove to the west of the center. It is well-known for swimming and bodyboarding, as well as being an ideal destination for beginner surfers. To access the beach, visitors must descend a lengthy staircase of 157 steps. The beautiful surroundings, including high cliffs that encircle it, make Carrizalillo an awe-inspiring sight.
Loved the beach. We must of gone when there was a storm moving thru the area because the waves everywhere were huge. Here we were able to get into the ocean with some caution and enjoyed a day at the beach. Lots of stairs, but worth the hike.
Ismael Ramirez — Google review
A beautiful beach - great for beginner surfers. But not for those who can’t handle stairs as there is a very long set of stairs to get to the beach and back
Leona Liu — Google review
Lives up to the hype, it's a gorgeous beach. Clear water, medium waves (just enough to have fun) and sand that doesn't stick everywhere. Top3 in Mexico so far.
BD — Google review
The beach is nice enough but I don’t recommend coming here any longer since the palapas are part of a cartel and ask you to consume for 250 pesos if you want to sit on a broken plastic chair. You may be able to haggle but this is not what I want to argue about on a beach day.
Anita Stettler — Google review
Playa Carrizalillo is a popular beach in the region and a must-see when visiting Puerto Escondido. Featuring a secluded cove filled with beach bars, umbrellas, golden sands, medium-sized waves for surfers, and swaying coconut palms along the shoreline. Playa Carrizalillo Oaxaca really is a hard-to-beat destination.
Giovanni Negri — Google review
The beach by itself Is gorgeous. Great for swimming since waves are very small. Completely surrounded by mountains/cliffs with unique views. Not so great for watching the sunset and since it Is very small it Is almost always very crowded.
Avoid visiting it on high season.
Mauricio de la Rosa G. — Google review
Best beach to surf. Not if you want to spend a quiet day at the beach just to swim. The beach is small and crowded with surfers, but gives you a feeling of the vibe! Go there if you want to have nice surf lessons!
Lorenz Schrempf — Google review
A beautiful beach for swimming as the waves are gentle. Also, I swam a bit further out and found turtles swimming beneath me!!
Rachel A — Google review
Nice beach with amazingly looking water. We surfed here and also came for a swim. Quiet and peaceful in the mornings. A short walk from the main street, beware of 157 steps to get to the beach itself!
Anastasia S — Google review
Probably the best beach in Puerto Escondido. The waves were still strong, but not as strong as Zicatela beach - so you could still go in, without the fear of being swept away. If you want very mild waves - Puerto Angelito and and Manzanillo beach are probably the most mild ones as far as waves go. But Playa Carrizalillo has the best views and the most beautiful sand.
Lily Peterson — Google review
This is a very small and extremely popular beach with gorgeous, slightly course sand. If you want a lounge chair you will be sitting right next to someone else. Unlike a lot of beaches, it is protected from a rip current, but there was no bloody way I was going for a much-wanted swim with all those learning to surf a few meters out: seemed like a recipe for disaster. As far as the STAIRS go, it was a four minute descent, tops, many senior locals were handling it, so could you!

It is a beautiful beach but during high season, there are too many people.
Playa Bacocho is a significant turtle-nesting site and boasts of its picturesque beach clubs and stunning sunset panoramas. This beach in Puerto Escondido has minimal infrastructure, making it a tranquil and verdant spot to relax. It is highly recommended to witness the release of baby sea turtles every day at 5pm during hatching season for a fee of $100mxn per person, which supports the volunteer group that rescues these marine creatures.
Playa Bacocho is a beautiful beach located in Puerto Escondido, Mexico. Visitors can enjoy the soft sand, clear waters, and breathtaking sunsets. Additionally, the experience of releasing baby turtles into the sea is emotional and unforgettable, making it a must-do activity for anyone visiting the area.
sebastian ferreyra — Google review
Great beach to see the baby turtle release, if you want to release them you need to pay 150 pesos. The sun down on this beach has the best views!!!! You need to be very careful to swim. Go at 18:00 +- to enjoy the above.
jose luis Pulido — Google review
The turtle release is kinda cool I really like that they do as safe guarding the turtles and giving them a future. However, I feel the whole event feels quite unnatural with lots of people crowding on the beach releasing the turtles. My turtle I’m sure got eaten straight away by the seagulls as they know when to come as they see the crowds so was a bit sad to see.
Joe Thomas — Google review
Wow, is all I can say. Such a nice beach. Release the baby turtles, then stay for the sunset! Only downside is that there are no food vendors there and the waves are a bit rough. Must do for all Puerto visitors imo. Bring umbrella as there is no shade. Price for turtle release has increased to 150mx
Errol Lewis — Google review
Great big beach, not easy to swim, huge waves, can get crowded. The properties around here appear to be making it more difficult to access it, hope that doesn’t get any worse than it already is.
Rohit Kumar — Google review
Incredible wild and unspoiled beach! Absolutely stunning sunsets too. I really hope they don’t let this one become gentrified like in Spain or Italy.
Andy McMullin — Google review
The beach itself is lovely and sandy but the highlight by far and away is going at 5pm and releasing baby turtles into the sea. You pay 100 pesos per turtle but this goes toward the conservation and is incredibly worth it. Once you release the turtles be on the look out for crabs and gulls as there is nothing more upsetting than seeing your turtle getting pulled into a crab hole or whisked away by a hungry gull!
Max Hofmann — Google review
The most special beach in Puerto Escondido! Highly recommend releasing a baby sea turtle. 5pm everyday - 100 pesos per person. The money goes toward the volunteer group that helps rescue the turtles.
Ciera Mayes — Google review
Probably the most beautiful beach in Puerto. It’s very quiet and green since there is not much infrastructure, only two beach clubs. At 5pm everyday they release baby turtles ($100mxn) during hatching season. Beautiful sunset too. Bring shadow and drinks!
Puerto Angelito is a cozy, tree-bordered beach that offers serene waters suitable for snorkeling and paddle boarding. This small bay boasts several restaurants where boats depart to tour the area's attractions. Crowded particularly on weekends, visitors can access the site free of charge but should bring their own shade or make use of the restaurants' accommodations at higher prices. Local vendors sell fruit, snacks, and souvenirs on the beach while private beaches can be reached by boat tours from this location.
Beautiful local beach. Not much room on the sand, due to boats. Crystal clear water and many vendors. Can get busy, but worth checking out. Can book boat tours here very easily.
Errol Lewis — Google review
A good beach, but too many kids in the water!
Luisa Almeida — Google review
Spent a few hours here. Although it is a small beach the water is beautiful! I can see how it can get crowded fast since it’s a hot spot for the locals. There’s not much room for sun bathing but if you dine at the restaurant you’re able to leave your stuff there to swim about in the water.
Carol-Marie — Google review
Little bay with beach. Restaurants around and boats leave from here for tours. It is very crowded during the weekends especially. Free to enter, no shade, if you need shade have to have your own umbrella or sit in the restaurant. Of course restaurants here have higher prices. Locals sell fruits, snacks and souvenirs on the beach. It is right beside Manzanillo beach.
Oxana — Google review
Took a boat tour from here to see private beaches.
Horacio Garcia — Google review
Don't recommend. It's way too small for how much businesses have encroached on the beach. You can barely see the sand. It's a pretty disappointing beach. Go to Playa Manzanillo for calm waters, or Carrizalillo where the waves are a little strong and I only recommend for people who know how to swim well.
Vanessa Arroyo — Google review
Nice and beautiful beaches, but unfortunately the sea was very aggressive and the force of the waves was dangerous especially for children, the same at carrizalillo and Manzanillo, stay away from the rocks because the waves drag you and smash you again the rocks, I learned that on a hard way, very dangerous. We was there at the middle of june
Aracely — Google review
It’s a lovely bay but very very busy at the weekends. At one point there was 5 rows of people in the shallows making almost impossible to enter the water. You can see some fish in the rocks if you are early in the morning and there are many many bars and restaurants to grab food or drink, most are more expensive than the other local beaches. It is nice but go early and on a weekday.
Henry Harry — Google review
Clean beaches, not a lot to do. So it's up to you, if our looking for easy access and pretty beaches, you will like it. If you're interested in activities, move on, these aren't the beaches you're looking for.
Rick Yerby — Google review
Great for snorkeling, I have only been snorkeling twice before and I didn't need a life vest because the water is very buoyant there. There were a lot of locals there but everyone was friendly. No one minded that I put up my beach tent and flew my drone.
IBFLYN2 — Google review
Puerto Angelito is an excellent beach for families with kids and older adults. No big waves, lots of floaties for rent and boat rides. Occasionally you will come across ice cream sellers. 20 pesos is what I paid for and it was well worth it. Very good!! Make sure you throw out your garbage.
Puerto Manzanillo is connected to Puerto Angelito via walkway in between and is less crowded. Waves are a little bigger here. Crystal blue waters. There are rocks separating both beaches if you want to explore and collect rocks and shells.
Justin Nguyen — Google review
The beach is good for snorkeling paddle boarding but not surfing because alot of the Fisher man dock there boats in the center of the water, chill vibes great restaurants with great food and local beers.
Playa Coral, located near Playa Bachocho in Puerto Escondido, offers a serene escape from the bustling main beaches. The Pacific waves are relatively calm here, making it perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Visitors can explore an abandoned hotel that was left overgrown after a hurricane hit the seafront several years ago. While there are no vendors on the beach, it is known for its cleanliness and peaceful atmosphere during the week.
This beach is pretty quiet during the week and has many spots in the shade. There are cute dogs running around, playing with the waves. The waves can be strong, don't swim with glasses. To reach the beach directly from the road, you can either pay a $50 fee to go through the hotel or go through a pretty adventurous path on the side. It's fine if you're fit and don't have vertigo
Jadwiga — Google review
This is a beautiful quaint beach. It is not easy to get to if you don’t want to pay at the hotel as you have to walk from playa bacocho and pass many rocks. But it’s worth it for some shade, quiet and a bit of a better swimming area
Leona Liu — Google review
Super nice beach, fairly calm, palms to get some shade, bar with drinks is available. $50 are due for the entry via the Hotel on the hill. The rundown parts (old slides, buildings etc) give this beach a nice and special touch too.
joccolin — Google review
such a nice beach, less crowded, good shade from palm trees. mid-strong waves so people who can swim can easily enter. be careful from the left side of the beach since it stony.
?? ????? — Google review
It’s difficult to access, but worth the effort. Either you walk from Bacocho or pay for access at Hotel Coral, 80 pesos which includes a not so great burger and a drink. The beach is beautiful, quiet, with sugary white sand, snorkeling, and a gorgeous sunset.
Wannabe Worldschoolers — Google review
A hotel has blocked the public access to an extremely beautiful beach, with a locked fence with barbed wire, so that you have to go through the hotel Villa and pay 50 pesos to access the beach. I am fairly certain this is against the law. Also the shut down water park is such a sad waste of opportunity/space.
Kansas Lindsay — Google review
Beautiful beach with rough waves, entrance was through Villa Mexicana. $50/person to enter and $100/per person if you want a hamburger included. The ramp leading down to the beach is pretty steep, so anyone with mobility issues might have a problem going down/getting back up from the beach.
Saba B — Google review
You have to pay to get in here through the hotel (we paid $100 for two at 7am one morning), but it was worth it for sure. The old creepy abandoned water park is amazing and the beach was perfect for swimming. There’s some rocks and bits to walk around on the right too, which was nice.
Trevor Cavell — Google review
A very quiet beach as you need to pay 50 pesos per person to enter. Issue is that it is a steep beach with a strong under-toe so don’t recommend it unless you are a good swimmer. And not for kids. Lots of free shade though. The hotel you walk through looks to be closed but people are staying in it.
Daniel Jones — Google review
Beautiful beach for pictures. Not so good for swimming AND not so comfy since there are a lot of rocks. Not very crowded allthough it was high season.
You can only enter through an hotel (it Charges 50 pesos) or by foot through the next beach.
Mauricio de la Rosa G. — Google review
Went to Playa Coral during our stay in Puerto Escondido for the 2021 Holidays. We really liked the beach, it was very clean, the waves were a bit strong for the kids but it was fun. Near the south part of the beach you could see some coral watching with the sand. We also had to pay to enter through the hotel villa mexicana, because the public side entrance into the beach had a gate and was closed. The hotel charged us $80 pesos, which included access to the near beach pool, a burger and a soda/water, which turned out to be great for the kids because they stayed on the pool almost all day.
Cesar Arevalo — Google review
Came here twice. Not sure how to enter this beach but first time was directed to go thru a hotel's backyard, but after 5 minute walking down from the cliff a foreigner woman living there, turned me back rudely that this is a private area no trespassing and had to walk back up in the heat and make a big circle from Bacocho beach. Second time went through Bacocho beach right away, it is about a 10 minute walk, at the end thru big rocks which might be dangerous at high tide and slippery. Problem is beach is public but the area to approach it looks like is private so you have to take a too long walk to get here and then to get back again. It is nice and very small beach, same waves as in other places, difficult to swim in. There are shades but in the private area, same woman came to us the second time, telling us this is private...so not sure what to say about how this beach works. Before you get to it from Bacocho though there is a big beach with nice restaurant and breathtaking surrounding with beautifully organized palm trees. Maybe it is better to book at one of these hotels on the cliff if you want to come to this beach. Definitely there are not so many people here and from the cliff you have amazing view. Also the hotel on the beach has a nice backyard and a whole little playtown built for kids to play outside.
Oxana — Google review
To access the beach for free you must walk from Bacocho beach which could be a little dangerous due to slippery rocks formation. Or you can pay 80 pesos to enter through Hotel Villas Mexicana which we did. They give you a voucher for a beer and water or a hamburger, not a bad deal and nice scenery. The Hotel is run down and in need of complete repair. The bathrooms facility by the beach is horrendous. The beach itself is nice but rocky and the water cloudy probably due to the recent Hurricane. Also it has strong undertow and big waves only for experience swimmers.
Playa Principal is a vibrant beach with sandy shores and calm waters perfect for swimming and fishing. It's an ideal destination to visit during December and January when it's less crowded, but still popular among locals. The beach is relatively clean with occasional waves that make it fun to swim, but parents should supervise their children as the waves can be stronger than expected. There are several food vendors offering snacks, drinks, ice cream, and fresh fruits on the beach.
Very crowded on the weekends w locals. Good food and drinks as well as gift shops on the streets above.

I would recommend Sweet Retreats @ Casa Chango to anyone looking to lay a solid foundation for their aerial practice, expand their skill set, their understanding of physiology on and off the apparatus, or to just gain a better connection to their body/mind in an a glorious setting. Kerri and Dakota have decades of experience as performers and pass on their knowledge in a thorough yet approachable (and fun!) way. They accommodate all skill levels while being aware of any injuries you may have by working around them, and encourage you to not push your body past its limits. The love for their craft is palpable in every class they teach and I appreciate their openness and generosity of spirit they shared every day. The food is fresh, organic, and really delicious (thank you Stu and kitchen staff!) The accommodations are clean, spacious and relaxing. The general manager Eli is a fantastic host ready to help you with anything you need. I was worried the schedule would be too "packed" but it's actually ingenious -- perfectly planned out to fit just the right amount of practice, socializing, relaxing, and excursion. Plus, there is never any pressure to join in on everything -- however you end up joining everything because it's so much fun. I met a group of talented and amazingly hilarious people in my cohort that I will remember forever. Honestly can't wait to go back to sweet retreats again.

Kerri and Eli are extremely communicative and organized. They make sure you have all the information needed for the week's schedule - to meal times, training times, and outings. My time at Casa Chango and Sweet Retreats was a delight. I felt fully taken care of and supported to spend my time in the way that was right for me.
The property itself is newly constructed and well thought out. Views of the ocean, mountains and river bed greet you in every direction. The breeze up the ridge keeps you cool on hot days. Sunsets are memorable, especially from the gym or the pool area.
I can’t say enough about the food. I was nourished and all food sensitivities were accounted for.
The entire staff provides excellent service and they truly care about your well being.
Arranging transport for shopping or excursions was easy because of the staff’s organization.
I stayed in one of the private rooms with private bathroom. It was super comfortable and a great size for longer stays. The bed was very comfortable and separate towels were provided for pool and showering.

Rented an umbrella on this beach and stayed in the same spot for 7 days!

It is really interesting how every morning 🌄 you can arrive to playa Marinero Pt
Escondido and buy fresh fish. The locals know about this but tourist are not aware of it. It is really interested to come in in the morning and watch. But if you want to purchase bring cahs to pay 🐟 🐠 🎣

Our guide was amazing at making us feel comfortable even though we speak very little Spanish. We did the tour in about an hour with a 7 yr old. Was very informative on the area and the university’s conservation efforts. Thank you!

Super interesting visit, the guide knows a lot and is super clear in sharing her knowledge ! Recommend if you've got a bit of time while visiting Puerto Escondido

The puerto escondido botanical garden is open to the general public. Some recommendations for people who like comfort and/or are prone to mosquito bites:
* closed clothing (trousers and shirt, blouse, etc.)
* closed shoe
* water
* hat of preference or cap, since we are in full fall of leaves and during the tour there will be Spaces without shade
* mosquito repellent
* lunch (optional)
Our schedules for guided Tours:
Tuesday from 9 am to 3 PM
Wednesday to Friday from 9 am to 5 PM
Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am to 1 PM
* free admission *
We are waiting for you!

(Translated by Google) It's a good place to do something different during the week. I went with a friend on a Sunday at around eleven in the morning, I would recommend going early because of the heat. The guided tour lasts about an hour/hour and a half and the engineer who gave it to us was very good at explaining everything and very friendly. Is free.
It is ideal to bring a bottle with water and mosquito repellent.
They also explained to us that the species we find in our homes (snakes, spiders, etc.) can be brought here and they will carry out the relocation.

Best part of our time in Puerto Escondito. Conservation, education and released a bucket of newly hatched baby turtles at sundown
Tioga White — Google review
Amazing initiative and an amazing experience. Highly recommended
Jake Larsson — Google review
Turtle releases are in the evening from 19:00 onwards (obviously it depends on the turtle reproduction season). They need tourists to help fun their activities but are minimally setup for tourists. Help support them when you are here

Best experience ever!!! Will do this everytime I visit. Great education and cute baby turtles.

You can't hold the turtles but other than that it was awesome 👍

Magical experience with very knowledgeable volunteers! 🐢
The team was really sweet getting me set up and showing me around. It’s an inspiring space to work. It has tall ceilings, large windows, lots of natural light, very clean, and pretty plants too. Internet was great. I was on several Zoom calls (so we’re several people around me) and all good.
There’s enough space (in the main space) that you can be on your call and not really notice others on their calls. They have little sound proof rooms too if you need more privacy for a bit.
The main level had lots of fans. It was reasonable temperature to work there. There is an air conditioned lower level if you need it cooler, but those spaces are not as inspiring as the main space.
Things I would want to know: bring your headphones for your meetings, they don’t allow food and I don’t know if any close by easy food spots so come full and ready to work. They do have coffee and water available.
The day I was there, they were using a primer on the deck level so I worked in the AC to escape the fumes. They had a discount that day so it worked out great. I didn’t get a chance yet to see the upper deck.
I’m definitely going back and will probably get a week pass.

Really cool coworking spot in Puerto Escondido. The building is an old bowling alley, really good vibes and great internet. I was able to do a few online meetings without any interruptions. Lovely staff, bottomless coffee included in the day price, and good food available for purchase too!

Really nice space! I worked there for a month, and I'd say the internet is not always consistent enough for video calls, though I think this is everywhere in Puerto. Some staff was really friendly, others were not very helpful. Food was great though!
Richard Atlas — Google review
This is hands down the best coworking space in Puerto Escondido. Fast, stable Wi-Fi, fantastic coffee, and a beautiful, plant-filled ambiance. The natural airflow in the main room keeps things cool, but there's an AC room available if needed. Highly recommended for a comfortable and productive work environment.

This nicely decorated co working space and cafe/bar provides with very comfortable working areas and atmosphere. You can order quality coffee while choosing you favourite corner for working. The space has a lot of light and space which is important to me. If you get hungry they offer a wide variety of snacks to keep you going with your pendings. Highly recommend Pauline for locals and travellers. You can meet some interesting people there.

Best place in Puerto Escondido to deeply work on its big common space in the ex bowling alley of Puerto. AC rooms for the May heat and the best ocean view with speciality coffee.
Andrea Lopez — Google review
This is the best coworking in Puerto hands down!
the staff is super nice, its huge, internet is 250Mbps at average! low latency and pretty much no packet loss!
5/5 recommended.
kudos to the cafe upstairs too!

DON'T DO THE MONTHLY PASS. Try the day pass first.
We tried out this place for one day, and we ended up purchasing the monthly pass. Our airbnb had issues a day later and we had to move far away from this cowork. When we asked if they could refund some amount of our payment, since we only used the cowork for a day, they refused to give us anything. We only used the cowork for a day, and they still made us pay the full monthly price. As a business owner myself, I wouldn’t recommend doing business like this. I won’t be referring or recommending anyone to this cowork.
Great boards, affordable rental rates and easy options to extend your hire online if you want to. As for the staff - they are very knowledgeable people who are happy to help and recommend surf spots based on your ability. I would highly recommend their services. Also I damaged the board and they fixed it very cheap!
Felix Lindsell — Google review
DO NOT rent a surf board from here!!!! Boards are full of dings to begin with and when you bring them back they will say they only have 2 pictures of the previous dings and make you pay for damaging the board. Highly recommend going else where if you are looking to rent a board!
Jayla Snyder — Google review
Awesome shop with a great range of hand-shaped boards from logs, midlengths and fishes to performance shortboards. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. My partner and I rented boards and were able to swap them each day to suit the conditions. Couldn’t recommend them more highly. Gracias por todo! Hasta pronto

Curated selection of surfboards and a really down to earth staff. I would definitely recommend this shop if you are looking for a variety of surfboards to rent or buy. These guys will take the time to find you the right board for the right conditions. Jose will hook it up!! This will be my go to shop when I’m in Puerto Escondido.

I found this gem.

Very friendly, unfortunately the boards are of bad quality. Mine broke after 1 session. I got it repaired, but it broke again at another place at the end of my trip.
I do not recommend.
Beautiful cathedral, which remains under construction due to financial issues. Holy mass is celebrated every day at 7 p.m. with a more ample mass schedule on Sundays. Very intimate and embracing experience. The architectural design is just phenomenal and breathtaking. God bless this place.

Beautiful place to celebrate holy mass and connect with God. Mass homily and choir were beautiful and touching. Although the cathedral continues to be under construction, it still holds a unique essence.
