The Templo Expiatorio del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús is a neo-gothic church that was constructed from 1921 to 2013. It boasts a light-filled sanctuary and catacombs, both of which are worth exploring. The church's crypts can be accessed for a fee of around 20 pesos and the bathroom is located behind the building.
Such a gorgeous church, inside and out. Great atmosphere. If you haven’t gone inside the church or never visited it, I highly recommend you do that.

It is an ancient construction, it is beautiful and I recommend it if you want to learn, it has a lot of history and it takes a lot to be constructed, it has catacombs that you can visit, if you are catholic you can go to the ceremony, there are a lot of weddings and sweet XV, there are interesting sculptures and there are a replica of La piedad.
There are problems with parking but there are many options around, on average there charge your 50 pesos per hour

The Triumphal Arch of the Causeway of the Heroes is a late 1800s monument with a lion on top, surrounded by fountains and statues. It was built to commemorate independence and marks the start of a beautiful outdoor park area. On weekends, it's bustling with families and friends out for walks while street music fills the air. The venue offers plenty of spots to sit and watch life go by in tranquility.

The Acuario del Bajío is a substantial aquarium housing an impressive array of marine life, including sharks, jellyfish, corals and seahorses. The exhibits include both fresh and saltwater environments that visitors can walk through. The facility offers snacks and a gift shop for souvenirs. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the marine fauna on display.
Cool staff, it was a good place to tour 😀

$250 pesos per person "simple tour" don't spend more as is not that great. One big tank is divided in sections to make believe is a big acuarium, you see same fish as you walk around.
Ruben Avalos — Google review
The staff was kind, cool fresh water exhibits, and a large salt water aquarium you could walk into and around. A lot bigger than we thought it was going to be.

10/10 would come again!!! Such a fun aquarium. It is a lot bigger than we expected. Took about 3-4 hours to walk around while taking our time.
No need to buy the vip pass. Only got us into the laser maze and virtual reality movie and a snack of old popcorn with a can of soda. Would have been fine without doing the vip pass.
Took out 6year old here for his first experience at an aquarium. The amount of fish is great!!!! He had a wonderful time. Only downside was the animal information signs did not have much on them besides age and location. Would have liked to see more information about type of fish, what they eat, etc.
There are more experiences available if you ask, like feeding the stingrays, photos with underwater Santa and more

The Museum of Art and History of Guanajuato is an architecturally notable museum that showcases Mexican sculptures and exhibits on regional culture. The displays are well done, particularly the history section which covers the 1800s in detail - an important period for both the area and Mexico as a whole. The museum offers descriptive information through electronic pedestals that provide translations in both Spanish and English.
Grate place to visit and learn about the Leon history and Mexican culture.

I had a great time visiting the Museo de Arte e Historia. There were some nice pieces of sculptures on display in the museum. I would recommend to visit this museum if you are in León.
elias bermudez — Google review
Very interesting. Parts are very well done. Relied on my wife for translation. With today's technology, translation of displays is very easy but that is not frequently available here, just a few displays, hence 4 stars. The history in 1800's was particularly well done, period by period as it is an important period for the area and of course Mexico as a whole.

Incredible museum to visit! Highly recommend making a trip to see this museum for the historical aspect as well as the artistical. Everything is in Spanish but maybe ask if they have audio tours in English, or use the Google translate photo app to translate to English. We went on a Sunday before heading over to a Leon soccer match. The museum was free and the stadium is right next door. Made for a great Sunday.

I was here about 3 years, wish they had something more exciting to show. They had a bunch of cardboard boxes piled up and a concrete electric post laying down and expect people to interpret that as art??? They should think out of the box instead. Most things are "Don't touch" they should change that to "touch with care". More interactive stuff...

A beautiful place focusing on art and history in the region. I prefer smaller places like this compared to the Museo de Antropologia as it is much easier to digest. Lots in the way of descriptive information, with electronic pedestals that provide info in both Spanish and English. A must see at Leon.

Parque Zoológico de León offers a plethora of entertainment options for visitors. These include the chance to observe hundreds of animals and participate in activities such as safari tours, miniature train rides, and picnics in designated areas. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, visitors are not allowed to walk through the zoo but must instead drive through it; however, this provides an interesting perspective on the animals and their habitats.

Great zoo for a first timer! Took our 6 year old here while in Leon for a fútbol tournament. It was his first time and it was a great option. The zoo is not too large or too small. It was a good 3-4 hrs of walking around and taking our time. The animal exhibits are small and the animals weren’t very active but our son had a fun time seeing them up close. The safari ride was fun but not worth the purchase of the package, the package did NOT include everything. Still had to purchase experiences throughout the park. The do not sell anything but soda and water. Tacos near the giraffes are AMAZING!!!!!

This is a great zoo! We got the tickets that included the safari, which I enjoyed. The zoo is well laid out and I love the areas where you can get close to the animals. It’s nice to see them roaming around freely :) They have a nice variety of species and some I’ve never seen before. I also loved feeding the giraffes as they are one of my favorite animals!

This place was amazing! Their prices are very cheap and you get to see a large variety of animals. Some animals you could even see up close. You need at least 2 hours to see most of it. You could turn it into an all day thing if you want. Lots of different animals to see. I definitely recommend the Safari experience, we arrived too late but the train option would have been better.Their orangutan knows sign language. Their white tiger is beautiful. And their bird and reptile areas are a must see. Very impressed.

Altacia Mall is a bustling and vibrant shopping complex that boasts an array of brand-name stores, boutiques, eateries and events. The mall offers an impressive variety of clothing stores and food choices, with the Argentine steak place being a popular option for many. However, there have been reports of some counterfeit name-brand items being sold at the mall. Despite ongoing construction near the entrance causing parking difficulties, Altacia Mall remains a great destination for both shoppers and food enthusiasts alike.
22時発のフライトまでの時間潰しに、6歳になる娘と遊びに行きました。

ただ、個人的にはフライト前で大荷物を抱えていたので、コインロッカーなどあったら良いなぁと思いました。

I went to play with my 6-year-old daughter to kill time before my flight departs at 10pm.
I was surprised at how hygienic and clean it was ✨
There is also a food court, perfect for families.
There are also plenty of toy stores, miscellaneous goods stores, and Lego shops for children.
The aquarium was so impressive that I couldn't believe it was an aquarium of the same level as one found in a shopping mall, and I was very satisfied! ️
However, personally, I was carrying a large amount of luggage before the flight, so I thought it would be nice if there were coin lockers.
Approximately 10 minutes by car from Leon Airport.
Use Uber to get to the airport for 260 pesos (approximately ¥2,340) in January 2024.
If you are traveling with children to kill time before your flight, this is definitely a good option❣️
There are also shops such as H&M, Vans, and New Era, so adults can also enjoy it.

Sp zona piel is a vast bazaar renowned for its numerous leather merchants showcasing an extensive range of boots, coats, luggage and clothing. The marketplace boasts an exceptional collection of high-quality products available at very reasonable prices. Additionally, there are designated seating areas for uninterested spouses to rest while browsing through the impressive selection. If it's made from leather, this marketplace has got it all! Moreover, one can find a fur coat shop with great deals on merchandise in Sp zona piel.
The place to go if you are looking for leather goods. You will find the whole range of stuff from “top notch” quality down to the real cheap goods in low quality also. Some of the shops are just wholesalers which sell in volume only but most businesses are for the “normal” customer also.
Always try to negotiate prices and never pay the first price which is asked.

Like all other reviewers have stated the abundance of leather goods is HUGE! From national products to China based products.
You will need to shop around to get a good deal but it seemed like most places have their prices set for wholesales vs , individual sales. Most places accept cash and will give you about a 10% discount for paying cash.
Make sure you go with time to look as it can be overwhelming.
Places usually open between 10 and 11.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Their "free" parking is on the street; and their claim to have air conditioning is a lie. The pictures of the place look good on-line; however; it is in a run down area of town. AND, it appears the lobby is a car detailing business - so you can smell the chemical fumes in your room. BIG disappointment. I'm checking out this morning; and I am hoping to get a refund.

(Translated by Google) Apparently clean and new, but the bed was full of bedbugs, when checking the sheets they were very dirty. They changed our room and the same bed with hair and pillows with drool marks, again to another room and the same thing. I requested and they returned my payment. We left to look for a hotel at 2:30 am.
I do not recommend the "Suites Polichinches Inn"

(Translated by Google) A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!..
SINCE YOU ARRIVE, THEY RECEIVE YOU WITH A BAD FACE FROM CLAUDIA SABEDRA, IN ADDITION THEY CHARGE A 20% COMMISSION FOR USING A CARD (WHICH I DON'T KNOW IF YOU KNOW IT'S NO LONGER LEGAL)
THE TELEVISION DOES NOT WORK, I FOUND A DEAD COCKROACH IN THE SPACE OF THE FRONT... THERE IS NO INTERNET AND THE TV CONTROL DOES NOT EVEN HAVE A BATTERY.
THE PEOPLE WHO STAY IF THEY MAKE NOISE IN THE EARLY EARLY DO NOT CONTROL THEM.
WORST PART :
AND I HOPE THE PEOPLE WHO STAY BE CAREFUL.
I HAD ALREADY NOTICED THAT WHEN I LEFT THE ROOM IF I LEFT A LIGHT ON, WHEN I RETURNED IT WAS ALREADY TURNED OFF... OR THE FAN (EVEN AFTER DOING THE TOILET, SO THAT WAS NOT THE PRETEXT) SINCE THE DAY I WAS COMING BACK FROM 2 A.M. 3 TIMES IN THE DAY, I DID NOT THINK THEY WOULD ENTER THE ROOM AND VIOLATE MY PRIVACY HOWEVER ON THE LAST DAY OF MY STAY WHILE I WAS ASLEEP ALONE IN THE ROOM..
THEY OPENED MY DOOR, WITHOUT KNOCKING OR ASKING THE DOOR, ONLY THE MR WHO WAS AT THE RECEPTION OPENED MY DOOR TO WHICH HE JUST SAID...HE WAS CHECKING THE DOORS 🙄😠😠😡 THAT IS FORBIDDEN, YOU ARE PAYING TO HAVE PRIVACY AND BEING A WOMAN ALONE IN THE ROOM IS NOT PLEASANT AT ALL SINCE THEY MUST HAVE A RECORD OF THE PEOPLE WHO ARE STILL IN THE ROOM AND MORE AT 7 AM
BE CAREFUL! AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL

UNA EXPERIENCIA TERRIBLE!!..
DESDE QUE LLEGAS TE RECIBEN CON MALA CARA DE PARTE DE CLAUDIA SABEDRA, ADEMÁS DE QUE COBRAN EL 20% DE COMISIÓN POR USAR TARJETA (QUE NO SE SI SEPAN YA NO ES LEGAL)
NO FUNCIONA LA TELEVISIÓN, ENCONTRÉ UNA CUCARACHA MUERTA EN EL ESPACIO DE LOS TRASTES.. NO HAY INTERNET Y EL CONTROL DE LA TV NISIQUIERA TIENE PILA.
LAS PERSONAS QUE SE HOSPEDAN SI HACEN RUIDO EN LA MADRUGADA NO LOS CONTROLAN.
LA PEOR PARTE :
Y ESPERO LA GENTE QUE SE HOSPEDE TENGA CUIDADO.
YA HABÍA NOTADO QUE AL IRME DE LA HABITACIÓN SI DEJABA UNA LUZ PRENDIDA, AL VOLVER YA ESTABA APAGADA... O EL VENTILADOR (INCLUSO DESPUÉS DE REALIZAR EL ASEO, ASÍ QUE ESE NO ERA EL PRETEXTO) YA QUE AL DÍA REGRESABA DE 2 A 3 VECES EN EL DÍA , NO CREÍ QUE ENTRARÁN A LA HABITACIÓN Y VIOLARAN MI PRIVACIDAD SIN EMBARGO EL ÚLTIMO DÍA DE MI ESTANCIA MIENTRAS YO ESTABA DORMIDA SOLA EN LA HABITACIÓN..
ME ABRIERON LA PUERTA, SIN TOCAR NI PREGUNTAR A LA PUERTA, SOLAMENTE ABRIO MI PUERTA EL SR QUE SE ENCUENTRA EN LA RECEPCIÓN A LO QUE SOLO DIJO...QUE ESTABA REVISANDO LAS PUERTAS 🙄😠😠😡 ESO ESTA PROHIBIDO, ESTAS PAGANDO POR TENER PRIVACIDAD Y SIENDO UNA MUJER SOLA EN LA HABITACIÓN NO ES NADA GRATO YA QUE DEBEN TENER REGISTRO DE LAS PERSONAS QUE AÚN ESTÁN EN LA HABITACIÓN Y MÁS SIENDO LAS 7 AM
TENGAN CUIDADO! Y NO LO RECOMIENDO EN LO ABSOLUTO
