Noosa National Park is a large and picturesque area that offers a variety of outdoor activities such as mountain summit walks, coastal trails, wildlife viewing, and swimming opportunities. It boasts magnificent views of the coast, including the chance to spot dolphins. The park can be reached via a beautiful boardwalk along the coastline from town. At the entrance, visitors can find free walking maps and information on koala sightings at the Noosa National Park Information Centre.
This place is more beautiful than they seem in photos. Trekking route is mostly covered by trees. You can stop and enjoy good views in many spots.
I am so sad that I could not see most of the park because I could not park my car. Hours wasted... I see from the reviews that this is the case almost for all weekends. So, if you visit here at the weekend you should arrive before 8am in the morning. Or park your car far, take a bus/uber.

Gorgeous national park and one of the most easily accessed walk ways into the park itself. Recommend coming here early in the morning for the sunrise and to avoid the crowds. Beware the other holiday makers that will crowd the car park up. The beaches are gorgeous, if a little flat, so they're perfect for families or individuals who aren't interested in pushing themselves too hard. No flag or lifesavers so it's best to play it safe

Noosa National Park on Queensland's Sunshine Coast is a coastal paradise that captivates visitors with its natural beauty. My friend and I use the coastal route and we are satisfied with our decision. This is the recommended route because most of the walkways are even and cost least energy to travel (except the Sunshine beach, Alexandria Bay and some paths have stairs) but still can enjoy picturesque beaches, scenic walking trails, and breathtaking ocean views. The coastal track offers panoramic vistas and chances to spot dolphins and whales (but really rare, I don't have a chance to see them but hear their sound from a distance near Dolphin Point). The park's interior trails showcase diverse flora, fauna, and iconic landmarks like Hell's Gates. Well-maintained facilities and knowledgeable staff enhance the experience. People can still choose to experience Tanglewood walk and Hill walk but remember to follow the instructions along the way, do not walk alone and bring enough water with you. Be mindful of crowds by visiting on weekdays or arriving early as well. Noosa National Park is an enchanting destination for nature enthusiasts and have a great trip!

Magnificent views with 5 excellent walks of varying lengths. Parking can be tricky as the car park fills fast and early (by 9am). There is also street parking for about 30 cars but it's 2 hours so you need to be mindful of that. Having said that most walks/trails can be easily completed under 2 hours.
The coastal walk to Hell's gate is brilliant as is Alexandria beach. There is also a very small trail right at the entrance of just over 1 klms but it's brilliant also. We did 4 out of the five walks in 2 days followed by an hour or two cooling off at Noosa Beach. The water was 26 Celsius...
There is also adequate toilet facilities at the entrance and all walks are well signed. Enjoy.

An incredibly beautiful National park in the heart of Noosa. Absolutely stunning coastal views from all vantage points, and a walk for all fitness levels. I took the no.5 route to make the most of the coastal views, which was around 10.5km or good quality walking tracks.

Stunning national Park, great access to amenities where required along the various tracks. The beaches were stunning and there were lots of surfers out there doing their thing.
The full coastal walk was amazing and I'd highly recommend it 👍

Great national park, well preserved and a nice view. Some cliffs are perfect to look for whales, turtles, dolphins, rays, among other marine animals. We also found echidnas walking around and very close to nice beaches to go for a swim. Longest trail is around 10km both ways

A beautiful national park with good walking trails seeing fabulous views. Wear polaroid glasses for better viewing. We were able to see turtles swimming and a pod of dolphins. Definately recommend walking the trail and wear swimmers so you can swim at one of the beaches if you like. There is a dog beach on the southern end of the park at Sunshine Beach. All the rain bought small waterfalls 😄

Beautiful beach, great surfer place and even better a bush walking just close. Noosa Heads National Park has everything you need for’ family fun.

It feels wild to give this wonderful national park a star rating - as it is a six star just for the nature itself! An easy walk but can get hot. Pack water, go early to get parking.
WelL maintained and busy. Good for a walk, decent for a run. Super early mornings are my favourite

Small but beautiful National Park only minutes walk from the town centre of Noosa. Constructed board walk makes access easy for all ages to enjoy the serenity and stunning scenery. Don't forget to keep looking high into the treetops for the ever elusive koalas.

The Noosa National Park is absolutely gorgeous. The coastal walk offers such incredible views of the ocean and hidden coves along the shoreline. I definitely recommend doing the walk if you visit Noosa. It takes around 2 hours each way and does get at little rocky and unstable towards the Sunshine Beach end. But it is totally worth it.
Sophie A — Google review
Such a beautiful national park, the water is so clear and it's in turquoise colour. There're a lot of different walks to choose from but personally I think the coastal walk is the best. You can spot some whales during the migration season. There's also a fairy pool here, which is pretty cool, bring a swimwear if you'd like to do a dip! Definitely child friendly but dogs are not allowed here. Public restrooms are available. There's an information centre at the start of the walk. Parking can be hard to find if you come late.

The Noosa National Park walk/hike turned out to be a fantastic experience. With several trail options to choose from, I had the luxury of exploring the park in very pleasant weather. The symphony of bird songs accompanied me along the way, creating a soothing atmosphere.
To my delight, luck was on my side as I spotted a kangaroo during my walk. While I wasn't able to capture a photo, the memory remains vivid. If you're planning a visit to Noosa, the Noosa National Park walk/hike is a must-include item in your itinerary. It's an experience that showcases the park's natural beauty and wildlife, making it a perfect addition to your bucket list.

Had a lovely stroll through this national park. The car park gets quite busy. This was our third day attempting to visit the national park (due to parking difficulties). Lots of camper vans when we arrived at 6.30am however we were able to get a parking spot this time which was great. National park was very busy even this early in the morning. Lots of people running and walking, often had to move out of the way. Overall a nice morning out

Bring sufficient water if on a hot day! I walked from Sunshine beach to Noosa heads and only saw 1 water station over 10+km! Breathtaking views
Bianca Di Meglio Lemieux — Google review
What a beautiful national park. Multiple walking trails with amazing views. If you are looking for an active activity to do with the family, I would highly recommend a visit here. Lots of places to stop along the walk including secluded beaches, fairy rock pools and viewing docks. Making it to the peak at Hell's gate is well worth the trek. Be warned, it gets busy so if you can walk here instead of drive that is definitely the better option as finding a car park after 9am will be hard.

The walking trails are great but I wish we could of downloaded them prior to going so that we knew what we were really in for (appreciate this might exist already but didn’t fond it easily).
Anyway, this is certainly worth doing if you can appreciate a good view and some natural beauty. Pack enough water and maybe a snack!

Excellent walking tracks, spectacular views and fantastic swimming and surf beaches.
Only downside is that it can get quite busy on the trails and parking is difficult in peak times.

Wonderful place. I loved this Noosa National Park a lot. Walking around the forest and ocean road. There are some routes, I choose the two route - Tanglewood and it took around three hours.
Situated within a scenic national park, Laguna Lookout offers panoramic views of the coast and surrounding landscape. Despite its popularity, this spot provides breathtaking vistas of Laguna Bay, Main Beach, Noosa River, waterways, hinterland, and distant mountains. Just a short drive or walk from Noosa's center, visitors can capture stunning photos and appreciate the scenery.
Visited the Laguna lookout for sunset, and I would recommend it. We walked to the Laguna lookout from our hotel the Nossa Blue resort and it was a great walk and around 2.3 miles/3.7 kms with a little bit of elevation, especially if you take the stairs from Hastings st to upper Hastings st. Once we got up there it was a beautiful view of the the sunset, river and ocean below.
leland hinton — Google review
There are two lookouts here. But one of them is completely blocked by trees. The second one has a narrow view for the same reason. If this is put in order, then there will be a place with a beautiful view.
Eugene Kuznetsov — Google review
It was a steep hill but the view was very nice to see. The park was nice.

Lagoona Lookout at Noosa National Park is undeniably one of the finest spots to witness a breathtaking sunset. While accessible by vehicles, I highly recommend the walk for an immersive experience. As you arrive, the sight of small boats gently gliding on the lake, accompanied by mesmerizing sounds, creates a tranquil ambiance.
This spot isn't overly crowded, offering a serene setting. However, if you plan to catch the sunset, arriving on time is key, as the view point tends to get busier closer to sunset. It's an ideal spot for those seeking a peaceful yet unforgettable sunset experience.
Faisal Shahzad — Google review
Really good spot. It's well cared for and the access road is very good. But please! If you are driving to the lookout be very aware of pedestrians and cyclists as the road has restricted views ahead. It's also too easy to speed on this road. Yes the view has slightly restricted views but you can see where the trees have been cut down to give a view. It's always a balancing act between natural or not. Appreciate it for what it is. The highest spot for a sunset view (with a Northerly aspect).
Walking and Cycling — Google review
If you have a car or are fit and want an awesome work out climbing up a steep hill from noosa beach to see the Noosa river lookout it’s worth a stop, however view isn’t worth the detour, the boardwalk along noosa heads is far better to visit for views.
NL Folder — Google review
100% the best sunset spot in Noosa!
I'd head there early with a few beers to grab a good spot and chill! Bring insect repellent, we got bitten a few times within a few minutes!
We would also recommend heading to the frozen yoghurt shop before you see the sunset, absolute paradise!
Not many places to park as it does get busy so if you walk it is a steep hill, or just plan to arrive a little earlier!
Frances Jagger — Google review
Good lookout but I wish they would cut some of the trees and shrubs back so we could have a better view. You can either walk up, bike ride up or drive up.
Rules -
1. no dogs or camping
2. 2 hour parking only
3 don’t leave any rubbish
A must see if visiting Noosa.
ThatGuy — Google review
The view is breathtaking when you’re entering it. But that’s pretty much about it. It would take 10 - 15 minute tops to enjoy the view and that’s pretty much about it. It’s also hard to take a single picture that could show the stunning view from there.
But interesting that from the point you can see signs where it shows the names of the spots around the Noosa lagoon (see my video).

Nice shady lookout area with views across Noosa. Small parking lot so there could be a wait if it's busy. Looks like you could walk up here too as there is a trail that ends at the lookout but it'd be a steep walk.

A wonderful place to see the sunset. Here you are gonna definitely having an amazing sunset but with lots of mosquitoes and with lots of people. Recommend to come earlier to secure your parking and spot. The view is the best.

Peregian Beach is a small coastal town located on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia. The area consists of both eastern coastal regions in the Shire of Noosa and western hinterland parts in the Sunshine Coast Region. This suburb is home to a beautiful beach and offers a serene atmosphere for visitors seeking relaxation. It is split between two local government areas, making it unique from other towns in the region.
Noosa Heads is a charming coastal town and suburb located in Queensland, Australia. It boasts a population of 4,484 people according to the 2016 census. This idyllic destination is favored among travelers for its stunning beaches and waterways. Despite being somewhat disorienting due to its many roundabouts, Noosa Heads remains one of the most picturesque towns on the east coast. It's a hidden gem that should not be missed by anyone exploring this part of Australia.
Tewantin National Park offers a pleasant stroll with stunning panoramic views. In addition, the park provides opportunities for rock climbing, as there are pre-installed belay points available. However, visitors are not permitted to install their own anchor points or use natural features like trees and rocks for safety purposes.
An easy short walk to a stunning 360degree view. First time we turned up it was closed for carpark repairs. Luckily when we returned a few days later it was open again.

I'll be back to use the rock climbs. The belay points are already installed. You cannot make your own, or use trees / rocks.
The bustling Noosa Farmers Market on Weyba Road offers a vibrant selection of locally sourced fruits, vegetables, baked goods, and breakfast options. Held every Sunday morning from 7am to 12pm, this lively market is popular among both locals and visitors. The array of stalls feature fresh produce, artisan foods like jams and sauces, native plants, flowers, natural skin-care products, and freshly caught seafood.
Great variety.. it's our must visit at the start of every one of our trips to Noosa, not just for our supply of tropical fruits, but the many foods to eat when you're there.

Apparently this marker is run by anti vaxers.(yes I have done my research) No hand sanitizer when entering. And most stall holders aren’t wearing a mask. For a market that is busy, this is a disrespectful way to run a business especially for tourists who have fought to not get covid for 2 years and have sacrificed so much. Shane Stanley - you out to be ashamed of yourself.
16 Jan 2022. In response to Shane’s denial of being proactive in the covid space. I add pics taken today. No hand sanitizer to be seen. Spoke to some stall holders as well who confirmed the headache of the organises of this market in relation to covid. You’re a dangerous person.

Such a cute local Sunday market. It was packed but all the stalls had smiley faces on and sold their fresh quality produce. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we purchased here. Compact local market featuring plenty of fresh produce. A few shops recognisable from Eumundi as it's school holidays when we went. We bought more! The cane juice slushy was great, family was so busy drinking it I didn't even have time to take a picture. Parking can be tricky when it's busy but it does turn over reasonably, the market is held on part of parking area for the football oval at the site. Toilets at the oval are clean.

One of the best farmers markets around. True to the spirit of farmers markets, with a huge range of fresh, locally grown produce, and lots of home made and home baked goodies as well. Prices are very reasonable, so you can stock up for the week with all your needs and cut down on the supermarket spend.

While a great market with amazing food and other vendors, not being able to bring your dog made it a bit hard as it wasn’t posted anywhere until we saw signs when we arrived. That’s completely reasonable but I’m posting this so others are aware and not disappointed.

A very busy produce market held every Sunday at the AFL football ground. Free parking although donations are appreciated. Early start market we were there at 11 and some stalls were sold out of stuff. Local produce organic grown and very fresh. Breads cooked on site, seafood evert thing you need for the week. Plenary of food stall selling meals from around the world. We chose to take ours home for lunch on the balcony with a couple of beers. A good morning out when your in Noosa.

Hastings Street is at the heart of Noosa retail, restaurants, beach and Nat Park. There are a plehora of eateries and upmarket retail and it's easy to combine time on the beach with a stroll down Hastings Street before choosing a place for lunch or dinner.
It's often very busy, and while there's parking on the street, there are two good sized free public car parks adjacent Noosa Drive just near the corner of Hastings Street and Noosa Drive. Midday is busy and parking can be tricky but earlier morning or evening its very accessible.

Lake Weyba is a vast, shallow body of saltwater that serves as a popular destination for swimming, fishing, boating, and wildlife viewing. The area provides a serene and secure environment suitable for relaxing and unwinding. It welcomes dogs with open paws, while offering ample space for children to play in designated areas while their parents kick back in camp chairs. During low tide, the water depth is perfect for strolling across the lake's surface.

The area feels safe and is dog friendly.
Areas for the kids to play and space for the parents to take a load off, kicking back in camp chairs.

The menu says orders from 11am. "you can order at 12" was what the staff told us, when we come back at 12:10 we were told we can't order because the chef just started at 12.. nearby table went to order at 12:15 and were turned away. If the staff explained the issue politely instead of looking dumbfounded then there wouldn't be an issue.

All staff were warm and friendly and we certainly enjoyed the drinks too. I'd love to come back and do it again. Congratulations and well done to everyone involved you are great. Tea Tree Bay is a picturesque beach located in Noosa, surrounded by spiky pandanus trees and lush bushland. It boasts of a broad stretch of sand and crystalline waves, making it one of the most idyllic beaches in Noosa. Unlike its counterpart, Main Beach, Tea Tree Bay lacks patrols hence swimming is not advisable; however, public toilets are readily available within walking distance.
Amazing point to expect average waves of more than 5 feets.
Crowded for surfing but good to learn from the locals.

Lovely beach. Firts time sunny and super crowded, second time overcast and not so busy, still a few surfers.

Beautiful beach with plenty of flat rocks to use as a table for picnic spreads.
Listed as the top 10 beach in the 2016 edition of the Australian 101 Best Beaches.
☆ This beach is not patrolled, so please carefully supervise your children.
1. Arrive before 7:00 am to easily obtain a carpark and avoid the crowds.
2. Take a bottle of water, as the morning gets hot and there are no water taps along the walk.
3. Wear sunscreen and a hat if you intend to walk from Noosa to Sunshine Beach. Its approx 6.8 to the bus stop to return.
4. Wear footwear that "grips" as some of the rocky paths can ve slippery for flat tread shoes.

Along the most beautiful board walk filled with my favourite gum trees you find tree tea bay, a little oasis, no life guards but very gorgeous and not crowded. Approx 20 min walk from main

On trek along the coastal walk at Noosa to Tea Tree Bay a lovely tranquil spot where the surf appears to be more gentle?
Surrounded by native Tea trees this really is a beautiful place and I would highly recommend visiting while in Noosa

Very beautiful place can't justify the fantastic experience I had their. The surf was very fun but should have used a long board.

Very picturesque with pleasant gentle waves and not far from town. Pick a good sunny day to properly enjoy this gem.
Take a relaxing holiday in a luxury eco-resort owned by Sir Richard Branson. The all-inclusive resort offers private villas, a swimming pool, tennis courts, and gourmet dining. There is only 20 guest capacity making it one of the few all inclusive resorts on the Sunshine Coast. Makepeace Island also has breathtaking views of the river and sunset cruises are available.
Visited Makepeace Island for the first time last weekend and was amazed at the variety of options and things to do there. The bedroom villa's are amazing with modern features like air con if you wish to use it. Some of the rooms have fish ponds and a big bathroom to use. The common rooms are full with activities from pool, tvs, chess etc. Plenty of day beds around the pool to relax and river activities to utilise if you wish. The staff are the best as they accommodate you however they can. Definitely one for the bucket list if you want to experience a hidden gem in Noosa.

Fantastic weekend at the island, the hosts were fantastic, the food exquisite, the French chef produces meals to die for from local produce. Free flowing champagne and delightful canapes served at the sunset reception at the pool deck. Daily spa treatments for the ladies and poker tables for the gentlemen.
The only thing we didn't enjoy was the morning dolphin hunt, the chef did do amazing things with the capture however.
