This tourist attraction in the Coffs Harbour region is dedicated to swimming with dolphins and seals, as well as watching whale and sea lion shows. It is a popular destination for visitors from all over Australia.
Amazing place. They do amazing work saving animals. Many different experiences available within general entry fee as well as extra paid ones. Very informative presentations. Animals are amazing, especially dolphins which you get the chance to touch. I hope this place is kept open. Itt is our second visit.

Fantastic conservation education attraction. The garden area and small exhibits would be great is extended as it was extremely crowded. Would suggest having the private dolphin and seal encounters in another pool as a lot of children were upset seeing others have these and facilities need updating like fans and fresh drinking fountain. The penguin area seemed very small for the number of penguins and hot for them. But the shows were great to see and well presented.

Interesting place to visit.
Not a large amount of animals on display. To get the most out of you day pass you need to go to all the shows. Otherwise not too much to see. The shows are very informative.

What an amazing little Sanctuary!
Wonderful animals, and information, the talks were very informative and interactive.
Even though it was almost cyclone weather the kids aged 13-7 had an absolute ball. I don’t know how we’ll go back to the Seal show at Taronga Zoo after the amazing seal show and even more incredible Dolphin Show. Hands to the keepers and staff for persevering in the torrential rain.
Food was yummy and well priced and the gift shop was special, we snagged some original masterpieces by the seals.

One of the best experiences! there are not many animals but without a doubt it is the opportunity to interact with seals, dolphins and feed fishes and turtles. If you pay for the dolphin encounter in low season you can have a very good discount, this experience is incredible. Just love it ! 😍🐬🐬🐬

We have been visiting this amazing place for years now and everything about the place, staff, marine life encounters, viewings, location is all very worthy of a 5 star review!
I'm not sure who is more excited to go here each time we do, my wife and I or the kids! We always have an incredible time and are very grateful for the opportunity your establishment offers us.
For anyone who hasn't gone here yet, you won't regret it! It is amazing 👏

Took my daughter here and had a lovely day. The highlight being the dolphin show which was worth waiting around for. Plenty of other tanks and pools to keep the kids interested. There was a seal getting around the park aswell which kept things entertaining and fun. Cool little park with friendly staff.

Great learning about sea life rescue and conservation.
At first, I thought it was a bit pricey for a small park that is only open for 4 hours. But that thought goes away when you walk around and see the animals, learn their story, and interact with some of the rescued ones in the turtle hospital.
It will only take you an hour or less to look around. There will be some scheduled talks between the 4 hours the park is open. But, be sure not to miss the Dolphin and Seal show. Not only that you get informed on how they are rescued and treated, but you also get a chance to experience interacting with the seal and dolphins.
The price you pay is more than worth it.

I was so impressed with the spark today . The people are beautiful and the animals are a very happy family . It was such an experience and an impressive Day out . We all had a great Day from 5 year old to 50 year old . We spent 11am to almost 2pm .
I have been to Maui Ocean Centre it was lovely but this was better (Finding Dory) .
The work they do in the Animal rehabilitation area was impressive. But the team they’re working are welcoming warm and and love the animals dearly. The park isn’t new but clean and fresh and plenty of room for big groups . I will be going back and encouraging our visitors to go and enjoy the day . The show and animals were Magic . Thankyou

Came across the Dolphin Marine Conservation Park on our way to Port Macquarie and happy to say it was worth the stop. We enjoyed everything they had to offer and learned a lot of the park and the animal's they have. Really enjoyed the dolphin show and the seal encounter. Would definitely recommend stopping here if you pass by.

Better than SeaWorld, everything you would want to see is right here, kid friendly, affordable, clean & the meals are delicious.
My two little girls 4 & 2 years old were utterly delighted to see all the animals & tickled pink they got to give the dolphins an ice block & feed the stingray.
Thanks to all the friendly staff for their knowledge. We loved it that much we will be back next month.

This place is still just as amazing as when I was a kid! Was insanely happy I took my daughter there this year! The current owner loves the site and everything it stands for in conservation and rescue.

We had the most enjoyable day. Got to feed a ray, and a small shark.
Seen penguins being fed, the dolphins and sea lion performing, small turtles, and large turtles in the turtle hospital.
The staff are very knowledgeable on the needs of the animals, and we came away with so much information.
Please support the work being carried out for these creatures by donations

I came from Melbourne to participate in 2 weeks placement as part of my Certificate 3 in Wildlife and Exhibited Animal Care course in March this year. Working with marine mammals has been a dream job of mine since I was 10 and my experience at the sanctuary has ignited that dream even further. The knowledge and experience that every individual staff member has is absolutely incredible and any question I asked was answered with such passion and detail. My goal for the fortnight was to immerse myself into the job as much as I could and the team of staff ensured that I dabbled in all areas of the job covering a range of animal species, which resulted in creating life long memories and hands on skills.
The love and care that these trainers show for their animals is like none other and you can see how beautiful the trust and relationships are between trainer and animal, a feeling I wish to experience in this field one day. The knowledge I came home with has expanded my skills and work ethic in this industry and I am looking forwards to the day when I can go back and visit the sanctuary again!
Thank you to all the staff who made this trip the most eye opening opportunity of my life, the beginning of experiencing my dream career path!
The Forest Sky Pier is a lookout point extending from Sealy Lookout, providing sweeping views of the mountains and coast. It's one of the best vantage points to take in Coffs Harbour and it's also free to visit.
I had an awesome visit to Sealy Lookout. It has quickly become one of my favorites places. It is worth the drive. Has an amazing little Cafe. The views are surrounding rainforest enough to lift ones spirits and set one up for an awesome day or night. Whichever the case may be.
I would like to add there is no camping and the gates are locked at 5 pm

Not far from Coffs Harbour. What a stunning view.
Car park goes right up to the lookout. There are picnic areas and toilets. Well worth a visit.

Great views along the coast, as well as a birds-eye view of the tree ferns, toilets were clean. Depending on the season there’s a high chance of picking up some local bananas from one of the road side stalls up the range. Overall a good place for a pit stop if you’re road-tripping.

Took us 3 attempts before we got to the pier without it being head and shoulders in the clouds, but the view was worth the repeat visits. The area is well cared for and the small cafe and covered seating areas make it a good picnic spot. The car park is not large, but adequate as most people only stay long enough to take a selfie. There is a short forest walk out the back of the car park. Well worth the visit, but checkout the weather before heading up. There are a couple of drop toilets.

Stunning drive up. Suitable for caravans up the steep mountain. Be mindful of the road is narrow. Once at the top, it's absolutely beautiful. Went on an overcast, wet and rainy day, so will plan to come back. The view would be amazing on a clear day. A small indigenous run cafe near the pier, was closed when we arrived.

Amazing views worth a stop off if you are coming through and stopping at the big banana. The bridge is a little wobbly and not for those scared of heights as you are as high as the tree tops here!!! Also there's a tree top climbing challenge here for those who are physically fit. Also cafe up top too.

Brilliant views from this mountain-top location. Free for all ages, a short drive up the mountain.
There is a coffee shop at the top too so perfect to sit and enjoy a drink.

The bananas and avocados are cheap too!🥑🍌🥳🥳🥳

Forest sky pier is only few minutes away from Big banana. The road to big banana is bit narrow and have to climb the hill. On the way we saw lots of banana plantations.
The sky pier is free to enter. The best place to see the Coffs Harbour. This attraction has shade and seating arrangements for picnic and is equipped with toilets too.

Beautiful, sweeping views of Coffs Harbour and beyond
The Muttonbird Island is a beautiful green island located in the Solitary Islands Marine Park, at the southernmost end of Coffs Harbour. The island offers stunning views over the ocean and is perfect for a short hike to spot the nesting sites of the mutton birds.
100% worth the drive there, the beautiful views and their paths make it an easy climb. A must-visit... The only thing that made the experience bad was the irresponsibility of dog owners. The path/boardwalk leading to Muttonbird Island was littered with dog excrement, there was even excrement rubbed into the concrete. This is not okay, pet owners have no right to ruin the money, hard work, or planning, for all involved in building the infrastructure and beautification for a safer pathway. Mother Nature did her best to create Muttonbird Island and the Coffs Harbour council put a lot of effort into making it accessible to all. It is rude and downright disgusting because pet owners are too selfish and lazy to clean up after their dogs. Thumbs up to Muttonbird Island but a big thumbs down to the irresponsible pet owners. Maybe the best way to fix the problem is to ban dogs altogether. I'll let my photos speak for the beauty of Muttonbird Island.

This is a must visit place in Coffs Harbour. Personally one of my favourite place in the coastal line.
We can walk to the other end of the island and enjoy the breathtaking view.
If lucky, we can even see the whales that migrate from the south towards the northern Queensland waters.
The island is full of burrows made by the birds(never seen anywhere in Australia).

Must visit spot when visiting Coffs Harbour. Muttonbird Island has a great view from up top. The start of the walk is very step but once you get past that there is a narrow paved and raised deck to walk along. If you are lucky you my see some whales. Plenty of information around to give you some interesting facts and stories. The walk is approx 4km loop when parking the Coffs Jetty Foreshore.

My partner and I are 60 years old, its a short but steep climb to the top of Mutton 🐦 Island. It took roughly 10 minutes to reach the top, take it easy there is a seat halfway to take a breather. The views back to Coffs Harbour and the boat Harbour are spectacular. The walk across the top of the Island and down the other side took another 20 minutes. Just another lovely experience not to be missed

One of the must see places in Coffs Harbour, NSW. I loved seeing the sunrise and sunset from in clear sky day from the island. The view of jetty from the island itself is mind blowing. You can have fresh fish n chips in fishermen cooperative market, just by the breakwater- though it’s closed amid COVID-19. Beaches are family friendly and you can enjoy the farmers market at Sunday in harbourside market. If you are lucky you can see whales roaming around the island in seasons like in October.

Excellent panoramic views of Coffs Harbour region. Fun to watch the planes landing at Coffs airport. At the right time of year you can see whales breaching. Be careful not to damage the muttonbird habitats.
At the moment (June 2021) the track's being upgraded so there's no access to the whale watching platforms.

North Coast Regional Botanic Garden - Coffs Harbour
The North Coast Regional Botanic Garden is a botanical garden located in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, Australia. The gardens cover 20 hectares and include areas themed around natural beauty and serenity as well as some more specific areas such as a tropical rainforest and a glasshouse displaying plants from arid zones.
A hidden gem. Definitely worth a visit. It is very large botanical garden divided into world regions. There is a great sensory garden and the new green house is good to go. Buy some plants at the shop on the way out. The facilities and paths are good with drinking stations to fill your bottle.
Kaelem Burgess — Google review
So much potential for an amazing outdoor community space, but I would say a lack of council funding is holding it back. The volunteers clearly do an amazing job with what they have, however, much of the path could use with redoing or replacement, and there is alot of undergrowth that needs to be cleared/tidied.
The distinct lack of a cafe/eatery is baffling! What a great way to draw in patrons/traffic with a small eco cafe.
Luke Batiste — Google review
A lovely and expansive botanical garden with a wide range of subtropical and other gardens. There is a rose garden, glass houses, boardwalks, rainforest and even a labyrinth. For a city the size of Coffs Harbour this is an amazing botanical garden, encompassing an entire arm of the river. Well worth a visit.

A beautiful green space right in the heart of Coffs Harbour. There are many tracks to follow through different parts of the garden. There are lovely green lawn areas for picnics or family gatherings. You can visit the Japanese ponds with many fish and turtles.
Lots of diversity in the plants and trees.
Also there is a large green house full of many ferns and other delicate plants.
Unfortunately the cafe was closed (April 2024) and no sign of when it will reopen.
I would definitely recommend a few hours exploring the Botanic Gardens.

Beautiful gardens. There's many sections representing different regions of the world.
Free entry. Takes about 1 to 2 hours to walk through the whole botanical gardens.
Watch out for mosquitoes during the warmer months. The mosquitoes are big and can bite you through your clothes.
There are also snakes in the bushland, so best to stick to the paved paths if you don't want to see snakes. Or go into the bush if you do.

We went on a rainy day, didn't expect it to be so big. Got a little lost but we enjoyed all the variety of plants and the Japanese garden. A wedding photo shoot was being held, a pity it was raining as the gardens are just gorgeous. A lot of parking spaces and even for trailers.

The Big Banana Fun Park is a quirky roadside attraction in Coffs Harbour, Australia that features amusement park rides, water parks, mini golf courses and laser tag. It's easily the most well-known tourist destination in the area and is known by both locals and international visitors alike.
Great place for family with little kids. It hasn’t change much since our last visit in 2018. Easy to walk around and if you are able to buy the unlimited pass, you will be able to try everything. The 4D theatre was amazing. The big slice was empty, it’s a shame because it was fun. The owners should consider an automatic escalator. My kids couldn’t go up to the top and carry their own mat. The mat is super heavy, I have two carry three mats all the way to the top and I was able to do it two times. I’m a fit person, but it was too much.
Paola Khnanisho — Google review
Very good fun park for both kids and adults.
You can easily spend the whole day there.
Toboggan is very popular. I would recommend getting there first in the morning. The queue is slow 🐌, so if the lane is long, you may spend a lot of time waiting. The ride itself is 5 minutes. We arrived right after opening, and 10-15 people queue took 20 minutes approximately.
Ice skating - amazing and not so busy. The ice is good. There is plenty of supports to use if you are not strong on ice.
The water slides are very popular as well. We went there last - before closing. 2 hours were more than enough. However, kids may want to stay for longer. Only 4 bags slides were operational.
All facilities were in good order and well maintained. There was plenty of parking, but during Easter, it was not enough.
Good food choices in the cafe.
The only thing to be aware of - they do not have drinking fountains, so we had to ask stuff to refill our drinking bottles.
Also, the park is basically a set of halls. You walk between them through the carpark. There is not so many walking paths. You share the road with the cars. So, be careful when you drive - there are plenty of people with kids on the road.

My visit to the Big Banana Fun Park in Coffs Harbour was nothing short of fantastic, earning it a well-deserved 5/5 rating. The standout feature for me was the incredible cafe, which surpassed expectations with its diverse menu and excellent choices. From savory delights to sweet treats, the menu catered to a wide range of tastes, ensuring there was something delightful for every palate.
A particular highlight was the banana-flavored ice cream – an absolute must-try for anyone visiting. The rich and authentic banana flavor made it a refreshing and delicious treat, perfectly aligning with the park's iconic theme. The quality of the food exceeded my expectations, and the variety showcased the culinary expertise of the cafe.
What sets this experience apart is the cafe's pet-friendly environment. Being able to enjoy a delightful meal with my furry companion by my side added an extra layer of joy to the visit. The Big Banana Fun Park's commitment to being pet-friendly reflects a thoughtful and inclusive approach, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.

Good Lord there is so much to do we didn't realise. There are rides, arcade, ice skating, a cafe where u must buy a $15 banana split (yeah it's worth it, and ur hips will thank u if u share it) an opal shop, in store made rock candy that u can watch while they make... Then grab a $8 bag to remember them by & yes they have sugar free. Putt putt, giant slide. This is a whole family day out. This classic Coffs Harbour attraction has evolved since the time I was a kid and stopped here for dad to have a break on the trip north! Now the Big Banana Fun Park offers a range of attractions for the whole family. We opted for a three attraction pass that gave us almost 7 hours of entertainment! We chose ice skating, 4D cinema and the water park / laser tag (our family split up for the last activity). Each attraction took around an hour and a half and even though the park was packed it was well organised amongst the session times to ensure minimal wait times. Great value for the entertainment received and don't forget the gift shop and cafe (we took a walk down memory lane with a choc coated banana that certainly didn't disappoint 🍌!! Make sure you make the time to pop in either on the way or for a whole day of fun!!

Bought unlimited passes for my niece and nephew for Christmas and had a wonder day on Dec 28! Started with the Toboggans and Laser Tag, then we went ice skating and saw a 4-D movie. Lunch was easy to order from our table and service was way faster than I was expecting!!! It was a packed venue and we had fresh hot food in less than 10 minutes! Loved our banana smoothies! After lunch, went on a tour (very short but informative) while the kids played Mini Golf. Next we went to The Racer and had fun sliding. We finished our day doing the last Water Park slot from 3:30-5pm. Loved the 4 slides that were open, can’t wait to try the two new ones opening soon. I just wish there was sufficient air conditioning in the Laser Tag maze as it was super hot. Also The Racer didn’t seem to have any air conditioning and it was also super hot as well. Can’t wait to go back and see what else they add on and improve. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to get there around 8:30 for the 9 am opening to get a good park!

The Big Banana in Coffs Harbour is an absolute must-visit destination! It’s not just a fun park; it’s a family-friendly haven for all ages. What makes it even better is the variety of price options to suit every budget, ensuring that everyone can join in on the fun.
I highly recommend purchasing the unlimited access pass for an unforgettable experience. With this pass, you can fully immerse yourself in all the attractions, and trust me, there’s something for everyone. The XD Theatre is a real highlight, offering mind-blowing 4D rides that had us on the edge of our seats. We couldn’t resist trying all of them!
For those who love a chilly adventure, the ice-skating rink is a fantastic addition. It’s open to skaters of all levels, making it a perfect family activity. And if you’re looking for an adrenaline rush, don’t miss the toboggan ride – it’s an absolute blast!
But that’s not all; the Big Banana offers even more entertainment with mini golf and laser tagging, adding a competitive edge to your visit. And for those who enjoy water activities, the water park is a fantastic option to cool off and have a splashing good time.
When you visit the Big Banana in Coffs Harbour, you’re in for more than just thrilling attractions; there’s also a wide array of food options available at the cafe to satisfy your appetite. The food quality is undeniably good, with a menu that caters to various tastes. However, it’s worth noting that the prices in the cafe are on the higher side.
Fortunately, the coffee served at the park is not only of high quality but also correctly priced, making it a refreshing and affordable choice to keep you energized throughout your day of adventure.
Before you leave, make sure to explore the well-stocked souvenir shop on the premises. While the prices here may range from moderate to high, you’ll find a diverse selection of mementos to remember your Big Banana experience.
So, while the food prices at the cafe may be a bit steep, the overall experience at the Big Banana remains a fantastic one. With excellent coffee, thrilling attractions, and a souvenir shop for keepsakes, it’s still an unforgettable destination for family fun in Coffs Harbour.
Digger's Beach is a beautiful, secluded beach on the Big Banana Park that is perfect for swimming, kayaking, and surfing. The beach is also great for just relaxing in the sun.
Ample parking, beach shower and boardwalk. Lovely little spot for a dip. Some fun rock pools to explore. The beach was clean and quiet, bins for waste around as well. Great stop off for a quick dip!

This beach is a delightful part of the coastal walk. It offers a perfect opportunity to take a refreshing swim or grab a cup of coffee from the nearby coffee van.

Lovely beach and had a nice calm corner for the little ones. Although it can get rips etc at that end as well. Was pretty busy each day we went.

Diggers is paradise. We always love visiting, if you're lucky you can even nab a shady spot on the sand down the southern end. Decent toilets, showers, shady carparks, and a coffee cart if you go at the right time of day makes it perfect for a family. Sadly dogs not allowed.

A very peaceful and a family friendly beach to visit in Coffs Harbour. A must place to visit if you are visitn Coffs Harbour.

Really good beach for kids. The beach has a very gradual slope so lots of shallower water with small waves that little ones can enjoy. Look for the sand bubbler crabs that dig little balls of sand around.

Our local. We love this place. The people (mostly) are amazing, friendly and warm. Beach is generally favourable for surf and swim.
The Clog Barn is a tourist attraction and caravan park in at least 300 acres of bushland, just outside of Coffs Harbour on the New South Wales central coast. The Dutch theme is continued with miniature windmills and railways out back, as well as demonstrations of clogging using traditional Dutch methods. It's open all year round, and if you're lucky you can watch a free demonstration of clogging.
Not only is this place an incredible miniature village, clog shop, tourist park and such, it is also just q beautiful place to do and have lunch.
The menu is Dutch themed, but the cafe itself and the lovely creek beside it make for an idyllic lunch spot. Would be hard to find a better lunch location.
I saw a Kookaburra and at least two water dragons. Amazing.

Well I have to say I expected a bigger premises. However it was great. Unfortunately we missed the demonstration of clog making , but the owner was very friendly . A little small , but that's the key when you see the model village outside . It's wonderful . There is even a little train that runs when you cross a white line. The detail in the models is incredible. Running water too and each model has a little inscription, detailing what it is or was. Worth the visit for that alone. Oh and do please make donation to help upkeep.

We had a lovely little stop over for a quick feed and to move our restless legs. Was lovely having a stroll through the back of the clog barn to see the detailed little homes. Good fun and was lovely to appreciate the hard work put in to the miniature model homes.

Visited this place on our stay at Coffs Harbour. We didn’t stay at the caravan park but did visit the out of world clog souvenir shop. The shop looked amazing with loads and loads of souvenir mainly clogs. They had wooden and soft wool clogs of different sizes, Colors and designs.
The Dutch model miniature village at the back of souvenir shop is a must place to visit in Coffs Harbour. The garden is well maintained and taken good care of. This attraction is free to visit.
Plenty of parking onsite with coffee house next to clog barn. You can enjoy breakfast, lunch and late afternoon tea here.

Stopped here for a lunch driving break in April 2024 and really enjoyed. Great little gift shop, feels like you are in Europe with all the cool tourist items including of course clogs. Each day clogs are made live too. The Clog Barn also has a cafe and miniature village, both fantastic too!

You visit here to snap a photo wearing the comically large clogs out the front, but that's about all. Maybe small children find the miniature village entertaining for about 10 minutes? The cafe food is adequate, the gift shop full of Chinese made souvenirs

We drove 3 hours to visit your gorgeous miniature village after seeing it advertised on the telly here on the Gold Coast during my days off and we were so glad we did! We loved the village with the gardens so beautifully maintained and the souvenir shop - a great outing and the staff were friendly and welcoming- unfortunately we couldn’t stay for a meal but when we popped our heads in the cafe, the food others were enjoying looked and smelled divine!
Easy access and plenty of parking Free entry to the quaint village!
Thank you for your warm welcome on our visit- I even bought 2 of my little Dutch Dolls along for a photo opportunity!! 😊😊😊 they loved it too!

I actually visit the cafe next door when travelling past as they do the best gluten free pancakes. Easy assess directly off the highway right in Coffs. They don’t have a phone unfortunately so you can’t order ahead but worth the stop. Coffee could have been better on the day. The Clog Barn is interesting with plenty of stock.

A must visit when in the area! We visited as on off chance as two backpackers on the road but ended up chatting to the owner for half an hour and got to watch a clog making demonstration and even received the clog he made! Village is free entry with a donation box at the end! Go and support this local family business to keep awesome places like this open

Well worth seeing this attraction. Especially the miniture Netherlands out the back. It's is beautiful and worthy of the donation they ask for. Then at 10am or 2pm they have a clog demonstration on how they were made and the grandkids loved it. They also loved the Dutch pancakes while we enjoyed coffee and a bite to eat as well. If you need a Dutch ornament this is the place to get it from. Enjoy 😊

We only stopped here to see the Dutch village, and wished we had stayed at the caravan park instead of the place we had stayed. The exquisite, free miniature village, the full size shop and coffee shop as well as the lush surroundings, birdlife and articles/food on offer, were all worth an extended visit, so we also enjoyed coffee and apple-pie on the deck overlooking the pond, before continuing our journey. Next time we are in the area we will make a point of staying at the caravan park as well.

We just passed by and had lunch at the cafe next door. And we found out they have a clog demonstration at 2pm on that day, so we stayed and waited to watch the demonstration.
It is pretty informative and gave us a brief idea how a clog is made.
Lots of interesting Holland products there to shop.
Also they have a miniature display at the back of the shop, remember to donate some money to support them!
Love this small local interesting business.

The clog barn is a great place to visit. You can see clogs being made, there are plenty of clogs to buy including clog slippers. Lots of Dutch souvenirs and out back is a miniature Dutch town to walk around. Great place.

We visited the Clog Barn in April and saw the tiny Dutch Village and a Clog Making demonstration. It was very interesting. Due to recent rain, the miniature railway wasn't running.
I can highly recommend the food at Big Oma's Coffeehouse! We went back 2 days in a row. Lovely location.

Nice little place to visit. The miniature buildings/ displayed out the back is really good. And being a lizard fan, the fact that they don’t seem to get upset about their water dragons visiting and sun baking and the models, is very cool…

Miniature village was bigger than I thought (considering it's free admission). There are shrubs that kind of act as barrier so my toddler couldn't see all unless carried. She loved the working train set. There was no clog demo when we went. We had a massive pancake that was delicious and fluffy although I envy the waffles and pancakes stack other tables had ordered. Oh well next time

We recently stayed at The Clog Barn on our way home from the Sunshine Coast. Our cabin was really nice, had been recently renovated and represented really good value. We had dinner at the Greenhouse Tavern which is only a 3 min walk away, the food was nice and they had $5.50 schooners, winning. Loved the miniature Dutch village and railway and the clog shaped pool. They also have a cool gift shop where we bought a few things. Being car people, really liked the fact we could park the car right next to our cabin. Will definitely stay again. Cheers

FABULOUS , huge range of goods & pricesof, obiviously dutch products. There is a wonderful surprise dutch village model garden out the back , not to massive to get around, really enchanting with a small model train going around in 1 area.
Staff terrific, pity we hadn't time for the cafe.

We've always meant to stop off and see this attraction and finally got around to it today. Fascinating Dutch themed store featuring clogs and associated items you'd expect to find. We loved the little model town you can wander around at the rear of the store. Next door is a cafe, not the greatest coffee I've ever had, but the carrot cake is definitely worth trying, and the service is really lovely.

Awesome place to stop.on your way through Coffs Harbour. The miniature Dutch village is pretty cool with some delicious food options in the Cafe next-door. Make sure you time you visit around 10:00 or 2:00 so you can watch the clog making demonstration as it is surprisingly educational and a lot of fun. Definitely don't drive past this place, it's right on the main road through Coffs 😄

Such a hidden gem!! I've visited a few times (not staying overnight, just visiting) and absolutely love this place. Dutch souvenirs galore, the miniature replicas of famous Dutch buildings is SO well done (happy that they have the Martinitoren!!) and the fella that's been at the checkout each time is so friendly and always up for a chat. In the cafe they have a nice menu but they also have Dutch groceries!! We stock up on curry sauce and Pickwick tea each time we drive through Coffs. A little slice of Holland, love it!!

I had to comment on the rooms, but we didn't stay in the rooms, but on a camp-site. However, the amineties were spotless. Big kudos to the cleaners.
Restaurant was delicious and the little creek behind the restaurant had lots of live in it for entertainment. Shops at walking distance, beach and creeks minutes drive away with easy parking. We would stay again.
Located at Southern Cross Universitys National Marine Science Centre, the Solitary Islands Aquarium showcases the marine biodiversity of local islands. With interactive displays and activities for every age range, this aquarium is a great way to learn about the local marine life and bring awareness to conservation efforts.
Staff members there were so helpful and passionate about what marine life. This place has a number of tanks showcasing local marine life and a theatre where a short film is being played talking about the East Australia Current. Seeing all the cute fishes actually got me feel like going scuba diving here on the coffs coast.

It was a great experience for the kids. The staff were very knowledgeable and were great with the kids during the talk. It is a very small aquarium but still a great way to spend a few hours listening to the talks and watching the fish and a very cool octopus.

Very educational and interesting tour the presentations are done by people who work at the university and I rate this aquarium better then the Sydney aquarium based on the fact its not all about making a quick buck.
Just a quick FYI did anyone know a octopus has 9 brains and 3 hearts... Crazy

Adult $15 to get in, concession $12. Went in sat around 2pm. Quite, quaint and quick but an easy pace. Watched the shark feeding and listened to a fact talk about the sharks they keep on site, the university where it is at and any other fish facts that your curious about. Good especially for little ones who get bored easily n quick. U can make your way through b4 they start gettin loud with boredom. Go kill some time here

My family and I had a great time at the aquarium on Sunday. Although this was smaller than metropolitan aquariums, there was still plenty to see and learn. My only complaint is I wish the tanks were bigger. Many of the fish seemed bored swimming in circles constantly.

Great aquarium. During the holidays they had 90 minute sessions which is plenty of time. The talk by Kate was really good and she was knowledgeable about the species there as well as her PhD area as you would expect - they fed the fish as part of the talk. The touch tank was good. Well worth a visit.

Lovely aquarium. Not crowded. Able to see a lot. The kids area was great for my 3 year old. Definitely worth visiting. Staff are also very friendly.

This was reasonably priced and the staff were friendly. I couldn’t help but feel sad for the octopus. The octopus was repeating the same circular routes in it’s small tank (over and over). I imagine it is very bored, and this is a shame for such an intelligent creature. From previous pictures in the reviews, the tank has remained unchanged for at least a year. I hate to be a downer but I hope he/she gets plenty of enrichment time, not just the same routine endlessly.

Coffs Harbour beach is just lovely, located between muttonbird and little muttonbird island, soft sand and proper waves, so grab your surfboard or your swimmers and jump in or do some sun baking ( slip, slop also of course) or the total opposite and take a relaxing stroll along the beach. This beach is a dog walking beach so if you really don't like dogs running up the beach just cross the little road/ park and use the beach under/ next to the jetty as it's a "no dogs allowed beach". The part with the sea bird island was cool. The beach is meh. Just the same as every other beach and not as good. Not a fan of the boring town and the arrogant locals.
Sam _ — Google review
I figured this would be the best beach in Coffs Harbour but I was really wrong 😂 Go to park beach not here. There wasn’t even any beach to walk on and no ocean view.
The jetty is a historical landmark in Coffs Harbour that was built in the late 1800s to load timber from the area. Today, it is a place to relax and take in Coffs Harbour's natural beauty, go pier fishing or go on a whale watching cruise. There is also a fishing fleet at the marina, so be sure to drop by the Fishermens Co-operative for ultra-fresh seafood.
Even on a not so warm late afternoon there were people enjoying a bit of swimming or fishing before the sunset.
Unlike the seawall linking Muttonbirds Island in the distance, the jetty is a more romantic setup. Walking on the wood panels somehow slows everything down by a notch.
What a beautiful place to visit. I envy the locals.

Apr-21: Love the jetty area. Lots of people skate boarding, roller skating etc and generally having a good time. I was very intrigued by the sunscreen dispenser, whether you get 10/20/30/40/50/60ml of sunscreen the unit price remains the same... What incentive is there to get more than 10ml at a time? (Also how much sunscreen does one need?) Anyway I digress, I love the idea and wish there were more of these around. Lots of people fishing at the jetty and a nice stroll. come for the jetty, be amused by the sunscreen dispenser.
Apr-22: went back the following year, but at night. Very pretty but definitely better in the day.

This Jetty is a picturesque and iconic location situated on the mid-north coast of NSW, Australia. The jetty offers visitors an array of activities, ranging from fishing and swimming to shopping and dining.
One of the most popular activities at Coffs Harbour Jetty is fishing. The jetty offers ample space for anglers to cast their lines and catch a variety of fish species, including bream, tailor, and flathead. The jetty also provides sheltered fishing spots, making it an excellent location for fishing throughout the year.
In addition to fishing, the jetty is also a great spot for swimming and sunbathing. The crystal clear waters provide a perfect place to cool off on a hot summer's day, and the surrounding parklands offer plenty of space for picnics and relaxation.
For those who prefer to shop or dine, the jetty area boasts a wide range of boutique shops, cafes, and restaurants. Visitors can indulge in fresh seafood, international cuisine, or delicious coffee and cakes while taking in the stunning ocean views.

Really great jetty with its rich history documented along placards on the walking leading up to it.
There are great views to be had, and cafes nearby to try out.
The only downside is that the woodwork is looking a little worse for wear, which makes it a bit bumpy for pushing a pram. In addition, what repairs they have made have been using concrete, which is a real shame.
On the plus side, we saw a dolphin whilst walking along!

A lovely family-owned handmade chocolate factory and outlet store is situated in Carobana. The store is where you can watch the chocolate being made right in front of your eyes, as well as get a history lesson on the production process. The prices are good and there's a great selection of sweets and chocolates to choose from.
Absolutely amazing family owned and locally created confectionery store! Everyone was super friendly and we had a great experience unexpectedly driving down the path to get some coffee ☕️ The vegan chocolates are better than most of the fancy mainstream in brands.

If I could rate this infinity out if five stars I would! It was so so fun and we learnt a lot about how amazing carob is. The staff are some of the nicest, friendliest people I have ever met, and they happily answer any questions you may have. Its a great place to go for all ages. You will see 100 year old machines making carob buttons (which taste almost exactly like chocolate.) The staff happily explain how carob is a healthier alternative to chocolate, And if you ask them, they will also tell you about the Carob trees. They also have tastings, which where absolutely delicious. And the little cafe has great food as well. It was all very interesting and I can’t recommend this place highly enough.
P.S
A lot of the other reviews say that they weren’t doing much when they came, I would recommend coming at around 1 this is around when they start making the buttons. (This is us coming on a Thursday Just so you know)

I’m glad other people have had a good experience here, unfortunately we did not. We walked in and we were greeted by a man who asked us if we’d been there before, which we hadn’t so we said no.
He then started to give us a lecture on how supermarkets sell chocolate but at Carobana they sell “confectionery” made from carob because chocolate slowly kills you. He continued on to tell us about how the substance that is in chocolate that is harmful to dogs is also killing our children - all in front of our son….. we don’t need a lecture about chocolate and we turned around and walked out. It’s a shame because looking at the other reviews it seems it is a nice place and maybe we just got this man on a bad day, but unfortunately we cannot recommend it and will not be going back.

Staff were super friendly and it’s obvious that it’s a family business with lots of passion. Muttonbird Island Nature Reserve is a seabird rookery with stunning coastal views, located in the heart of Coffs Harbour. Aboriginal elders offer guided tours that provide fascinating and rich context about the cultural importance of the island.
A beautiful walking path across the top of the island provides a glorious view of the harbour and neighbouring beaches.
There is a lot of movement around you with lizards, rats, birds and bugs scurrying about their afternoon activities.
One thing to note is that at either end of the island the path can be quite steep if you are walking with people who may struggle with the angle. At least it is smooth and not uneven.

The Muttonbird Island nature reserve is accessibleby a nicely paved walkway. Makes it feel more like a peninsulathan an island.
Along the island you pass a nice track which passes numerous bird nests burrowed in the ground.
The island itself offers great scenery. The track is quite pleasant to walk on, but does have a decent incline, so a degree of fitness is required for the climb. Definitely worth getting to the top though.

Great place for a walk. Very interesting island. Beautiful sunrises and amazing views of the coastline. Be prepared for a little bit of a walk but it's well worth it.

The best place to go to get a complete view of Coffs Harbour. Awesome views. A nice challenging walk. Just a warning it's a high wind area but very well worth it. Also take in the Jetty as well.

Walked through the bridge around the marina just after sunrise. Lovely, the walk is amazing. There is a path that crosses the island. It is steep to get up and down but definitely possible for all ages.

Must visit place if you're in Coffs Harbour. Can have a nice look over the city an beaches. A beautiful place to spend some quality time on a good sunny day. Best time to go is in the afternoon. Could see a beautiful entire city. Overall it is very beautiful lookout point. I highly recommend a visit.

Beautiful little walk starting from the Coffs Harbour marina walkway into the reserve and back with great views of the harbour and waters from the top of the hill.

Amazing walk! Begins with a steep paved path up to a mesh viewing ledge, which continues over the top of the hill. On the other side we were lucky enough to see whales breaching. Highly recommended

Have visited this island many times, very easily accessible with great views. Quite a steep climb to the first lookout, but great cardiovascular workout! Well worth the effort, great views up & down the beautiful coastline & of the harbour. The water is a magnificent sapphire blue. Only problem I have is you cannot take your dog

A short steep walk to the top but worth it. The 360 views from the top are amazing. When we went we were lucky enough to see some whales close by.

An incredible place to visit. Wonderful view of the coast and a great whale watching spot. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that some of the signage is quite faded and difficult to read. A shame as it's a great educational opportunity.

Nice walk as long as you don't mind hills! Great views from top and interesting rock pools etc on far side. Didn't see any Muttonbirds nesting when I was there, but plenty of signs of their presence.

The path and boardwalk are so well provided that you could walk up this hill in your dress shoes! What a beautiful view of the marina on one end and the expansive ocean at the other. A must when you visit Coffs Harbour!
Coffs Creek Walk & Cycleway offers a unique experience, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the bushland while being just steps away from the city center. This 8.6-kilometer loop takes you through gum trees and palms along the creek, with a section featuring a boardwalk. It also serves as a convenient route to access various attractions such as Botanic Garden, Park Beach, Historic Jetty, and Dolphin Marine Conservation Park.
The Solitary Islands Coastal Walk is a 60 kilometre track that winds its way through rainforest and stunning rocky headlands, with dreamy sandy beaches along the way. Quite place, since been in coffs harbour for work, i normally go do my cooking there, there is a bbq area as well and kids park. Not so much of a swimming area, but is a picnic at the park recommendation.

Sundays at Harbourside Markets in Coffs Harbour are a chance to get your hands on some of the freshest produce and food around, while enjoying live music and street performers. This market is situated on the historic jetty and foreshore, under beautiful trees, and is perfect for shopping for ingredients to cook up a Sunday feast.
Currently the site is occupied by the annual March's Amusement carnival which closes end of the month
However the carnival will be at Coffs Harbour show 13-15th May 2022. I know these are carnival photos but the range of rides changes each year and like these flowers you'll find lovely people at the carnival

Great place ! Many items to browse through. Great food 😋 and drinks, including coffee ☕️.
Absolutely dog 🐕 friendly 😀 - you will find almost everything you need for a dog for sale there, too.
Parking can be tricky - it is better to come earlier.

It’s a lot of fun coming visiting this market. We bought ice cream and started walking around checking out what stalls there were. Maybe today there were less stalls than usual because it is Boxing Day. We then had Iraqi naan bread and Syrian chicken kebab. We also bought a big box of blueberries before we left. It was raining the previous day so sitting on the grass killed the pants. Hopefully they put more sitting area. Doesn’t have to be fancy. Just need somewhere to sit down.
There was plenty of parking available not far from the market.

Harbourside markets are literally the best, They have stalls for just about everything & also have a store for dogs they have treats the dogs can try & their prices are pretty fair & much cheaper than pet shops.

Great location, plenty of car slot available, fresh products, hand made craft products, old school items, many kinds of food and sweets stalls, live music and family and pet friendly😊
Suggest you bring cash due to some shops are cash only and visit there early morning. Shops are start to pack up around 13:30.
We spent a lot of fun time there with the puppy However, only one negative thing was very hard to find a shade place that it was such a hot day when we visited. Stay safe from having heat strokes and/or dehydration👍

Not a super extensive market for tourists if you are looking for heaps of souvenirs. But definitely a good activity for a Sunday morning.
There was also live music!
Loved the loaded baked potato, I would go again just for that alone.

National Cartoon Gallery @The Bunker, Coffs Harbour
The National Cartoon Gallery @The Bunker, Coffs Harbour is Australia's only dedicated cartoon gallery, with an aim of promoting the art through the exhibition and preservation of Australias cartooning history. The gallery is housed in a converted World War II bunker and has a vast collection of rare cartoons by both international and local cartoonists.
The staff are 👏 so knowledgeable and helpful. The museum is great so many topical and funny cartoons great place for kids and adults.

What great and friendly people!
We learnt that this gallery was in a World War ii bunker 😱😱 amazing! We could even watch a short video that gave us more background. It's a must see when in Coffs Harbour. The gallery is beautifully setup and have cartoons of Ginger Meggs (Australian) from the 1930's. It also possess multi cartoons from different artists that's sharp and witty.
Liza — Google review
Great gallery devoted to cartoons from the nonsensical to the political to the irreverent. Reasonable admission charges and a nice cafe upstairs. Well worth going out of you way to visit if you're into a broad range of cartoons. Also houses the Stanley award winners and varying temporary exhibits, all built around a WW2 bunker.
Martin Witchard — Google review
Fascinating place, especially the exhibit showing the evolution of cartoon creation. As always, the political satire was comical and on point.
Cassandra Cheok — Google review
A gallery set in a WW2 bunker sounds pretty cool, and it is! Not a big gallery but really interesting for both the physical space and the collection. Add a lovely café, a sun-dappled balcony, a nice gallery shop and lovely staff and it's more than worth a visit. Highly recommended :-)

Can I say not what I was expecting. It was even better. Perfect the fact it was indoors as we arrived as it started to rain.
With the Bunkers original history shared and the cartoon display. It really brought the two together.
Craft table for our daughter as well who was a little to young to understand.
Something for the young and old. Brought back memories and I thought of times with my Grandparents and how next time I should take them as well. Lift to access upstairs display.

Came here out of curiosity and was pleasantly surprised. $10 Adult entry. You watch a 3min video about the bunker itself and then set out on your own to explore the gallary which is 2 levels. There is stairs or a lift to go upstairs. Facinating collection of different types of art and photography currently on show. Some very funny cartoons and caricatures. Others bring light to some very serious world event. The photography exibit on the ground floor showcased some beautiful photos of nature at its best. There is also a library of comics and graphic novels to sit and read. The team were friendly and the bunker has been converted beautifully showing in some of the original features. Well worth the look in. Current exhibition will appeal more to adults than kids.

Staff are friendly and informative! Interesting collections. Was here a few years ago and I think the upgraded and new facilities are fantastic.
Last time I was in they had a fascinating show on the history of Ginger Megs. With the two gallery spaces now they had two exhibitions.
Entry is very accessible with a lift to get up to the 2nd floor.

Very interesting, good choice done by the volunteers, laughed at many of comics that were displayed along the bunker walls. We were warmly welcomed by a man at the entrance who explained the use of the bunker during the war. 10$ fee per person, definitely worth it. We spent at least an hour. You can spend more as there are magazines chairs and bean bags if you want to sit down and read and a cafe upstairs. Perfect outing for a rainy day. Parking outside. We had a trailer, not many people so ok to park

What a great space for an art that doesn't seem to get a lot of air play lately. Cartooning is like comedy, you can express so much about what is going on and even touch on taboos for the purpose of provoking thought and discussion.
We can also see some well worn themes like the discussion on the value of coal..

There is also a slushie and hot dog stall, baked spud place, pizza stall, Ethiopian, Spanish, Indian and donut place.
Great place yo go as couple or family. Great evening out with a wonderful variety of food. Only one thing missing the night we went which was a coffee van.

Nice place. There is a slushie and hot dog stall, pizza stall, baked spud place, ice cream, roast meats, burger joint, Ethiopian, Spanish, indian, donut place and a few others.
We decided on lukeys loaded potatoes. Each of the spuds are named after their kids and we liked the story. The blend of ingredients in our Billy jack spud worked well and on later reflection we should have got one each.

The Coffs Harbour Butterfly House is an attraction that houses hundreds of different Australian butterflies in an indoor tropical setting. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday and is a place where visitors can get up close and personal with the creatures.
I took my 4 kids here between ages 1 and 8, they had a fantastic time! The dinosaur show was great we arrived just as one got brought out and it was pretty magical for my kids, the fairy garden got a bit over looked, the butterflies were beautiful, the kids loved the maze, mirrors, and the dinosaurs walk, and gift shop was pretty cool to look through. Cafe was nice but I feel food was a bit pricey but nice ( and with inflation I totally understand the prices) as for the park price I feel it was a little high but I understand there is staff to pay and things to maintain so to get through the off peak season it's kinda necessary. We had a great day and the kids loved it so definitely worth the price. So feedback that I could give is maybe offering a cheaper ticket for visitors that don't have children to just visit the butterflies for a $ 10-15 as the other attractions are definitely more kid oriented. But good little day trip
Chantelle McLean — Google review
Quite expensive for what it is, but at the moment you can use Discover NSW vouchers, which makes the price more realistic.
The staff are lovely and really helpful.
The first Dinosaur show can be skipped, it's just a little dance party like thing, the second show is a bit better, and fun for young kids.
The dinosaur walk through is a bit more fun, also a little scary for little kids though, but it's a nice walk in the shade.
The butterfly house has a heap of butterflies, but it can get crowded as it's not very big. It's also very hot and humid in there. Just so you know what to expect.
The mirror maze is like the ones you find at carnivals, it's a bit of fun, but can get really hot and close in there, especially when you're wearing a face mask.
The wooden maze is better and has a few shaded areas. It's not an overly complicated maze, but also isn't incredibly easy, so it's worth going through.
Worth a visit when in the area, but not with building a trip around.

Went to the Butterfly House at Sawtell today with my two grandchildren. I haven't been for a couple of years and there have been many great additions. We love the butterfly enclosure and the playground area outside the Alice in Wonderland themed cafe.
The amenities are clean and even have dinosaur toilet paper holders.
We watched the Pinkie baby dinosaur show which was great and all the kids joined in the dancing.
There are peacocks wandering around the gardens.
Had a nice coffee too.
Definitely a fun way to spend a few hours while visiting Sawtell.

Had a blast and definitely worth the price tag. I love that it is a small and intimate greenhouse as it meant my kids were easy to wrangle. Twins loved the dinos, son loved the maze, and I just wanted to ask questions all day about the insects. Very knowledgeable staff. Staff also seemed to be very sensory aware. Very much appreciated it.

My wife and I re-visited the new and improved cafe decor and menu. The chicken and gravy roll with chips was the best I can recall ever having from anywhere. The chicken was delicious, and the gravy must have some secret spice that complimented the crispy, yet, soft bun. The chips were not over-cooked like many places, and the serving size was more than ample. The staff were friendly and happy to help, with next to no waiting time for table service. We'll be going back for more in the not-too-distant future. And for those with kids - they will LOVE it there :)

While the butterfly section is small it is magical. People need to be careful where they walk as butterfly's can even be resting on the ground. Saw a gorgeous Cairns birding butterfly, just beautiful. There is also a maze and dinosaur show foe the kids and cafe that serves delicious scones n jam and made to order wraps and sandwiches.

Fun mazes - 'Italian' maze and mirror maze! Dinosaur walk is very cool. Shows are fun (but for the younger set).

There's something for everyone at this magical place. My grandchildren loved the dinosaurs, once they'd got over the initial shock of seeing 'real' dinosaurs. They are presented so well. The butterfly house is warm and inviting with many displays and the shop with the magical and fairy rooms is amazing. The cafe is full of scrumptious good food. Staff are friendly and welcoming and there are always surprises to see.

A Wheelchair friendly creation. We stopped in on the way home from Coffs Harbour and it was great, the staff were amazing entertaining kids and grown ups alike. The butterfly enclosure was smaller then expected however the plan was well designed and easy to get around and we saw lots of different butterflies. Around the park there were dinasaurs and a Jurassic feel to the place, the shows were fun for children and we got involved and had just as much fun as the kids. We forgot to do the maze but that is not wheelchair friendly due to the era it was designed. Thank you for a fabulous day

Such a special place to visit. We really enjoyed the butterfly enclosure and having the beautiful butterflies fly around us so close.
My daughter was very taken with Bluey. She wanted to take her home!
The Alice in Wonderland maze was so much fun. I loved all of the little bits and pieces throughout and making it to the middle. So well done.
The cafe had so much to see… Alice hanging out of the ceiling, the crazy clocks, peacocks, lizards and so much fun stuff.
Will definitely visit again the next time we are in town. We loved all of it.

If you are interested in knowing facts about butterflies then this is a place to visit. We really enjoyed our visit. The ticket prices are on a bit higher side. My husband and I thought we'd spend a morning here. And what an absolutely beautiful morning we had. Great value for money, well while tourist attraction for all ages. Spent time with the butterflies, talking to experienced individuals that shared insightful information about the butterflies when you engaged in conversation. Time spent going through the maze was entertaining as well.
The cafe had a delightful selection and the scones did not disappoint.
The dinosaurs were great to see, the dinosaur show was short and sweet.
The opening hours are limited so that might be something to be mindful of when planning to visit depending on how much time you want to spend at this attraction.
There are peacocks that roam freely around the property as well if you like birds!

I recently visited the Coffs Harbour Butterfly House and had a good experience overall. The vibrant array of butterflies was truly captivating, creating a serene and enchanting atmosphere. The facility is well-maintained, providing a suitable environment for these delicate creatures to thrive.
The highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the opportunity to observe the butterflies up close and personal. The variety of species is impressive, and their vibrant colors make for a visually stunning display. It's a unique and educational experience that could be particularly engaging for children. The staff members were knowledgeable and eager to share insights about the different species, adding value to the visit.
However, the overall size of the Butterfly House might be a bit limited for some visitors, and those seeking a more extensive collection might find it relatively small. Additionally, the entrance fee seemed a bit on the higher side, considering the size of the facility. While it's understandable that maintaining a suitable environment for butterflies requires investment, the pricing could be a deterrent for some visitors.
On the positive side, the Butterfly House provides a peaceful escape into nature, and the educational aspect is commendable. It's a great opportunity for families with children to learn about these fascinating insects. The onsite cafe is a nice touch, offering refreshments and a place to relax after exploring the butterfly habitat.
In conclusion, the Coffs Harbour Butterfly House offers a delightful experience, especially for families and nature enthusiasts. While there are some areas for improvement, the positive aspects, such as the variety of butterflies and knowledgeable staff, make it a worthwhile visit for those interested in the world of butterflies.

I went there to visit my brother, and stayed 14 days taking advantage of their winter special. I had a wonderful camping site opposite the Camp Kitchen and one site away from the river which meant it was sheltered. I also got the winter morning sun to warm up the van in the mornings, a table with seats, a green carpet square for my feet and free wifi and a short walk to wonderful hot showers and very clean toilets. I fond it a beautiful place to stay at, and enjoyed the TV in the Rec Area to watch my favorite shows. I can highly recommend this place for anyone...oldies as well as families with kids. The staff are wonderfully friendly and approachable, and the kitchen was better equipped than mine at home.
