Wetside Water Park is an oceanfront facility that features water slides, a splash pad, and a wave machine. It also has a casual eatery for visitors to enjoy. This aquatic center is perfect for families with kids who want to have fun in the summer season. Adults can also enjoy the park's amenities while sitting in lovely shaded areas.
The Hervey bay Westside water park is awesome. It is a free water park 3 small children's water slides, a bucket, several in ground water spouts and toddler smaller water spout. Right next to the beautiful Hervey bay beach. And.did I mention it's FREE! They have. A toilet, and changing area block with lockers. Several seats and tables are located throughout the park. There is a beautiful sculpture of a whale in the middle of the peak. A cafe next to the front of the water park. There is a bigger paid slide at the end of the park. There is a wooden balcony overlooking the water. The water park is semi covered in the toddler side area however other than that it's all open. Big trees are located near the front of the park and offers a bit of shade on sunny hot days. There is several parking areas. It is wheelchair accessible.

A great family friendly waterpark, great for the kids and the young at Heart. Great place to cool down. All is free except for the ninja warrior water part of the park. Definitely worth stopping at to have a splash in the water and cooling off. Fun in the sun ☀️

One of the most amazing free water parks in Queensland. Areas for big or little kids. My son loves Wetside and that's our favourite place to visit when we come up to Hervey bay. Now with the playground and skate park next to it we love it even more.

Hard to believe the place was free - bucketloads of fun and lovely shady areas for parents to sit.

Excellent place for some water play.

Great place for kids (young and young at heart), plenty of free off street parking around, with a delicious cafe next door and the gorgeous beach in front.
The renovations/maintenance have made it even better.
Plenty of shaded areas, change rooms/bathrooms, and friendly lifeguards around.
Love bringing my littles here

Our day at the water park was nothing short of fantastic! The cleanliness and organization were impressive, creating a safe and enjoyable environment for my kids. Staff members were friendly and attentive, adding to the positive experience. Five stars, without a doubt – extremely safe for very young age kids make it a perfect destination for fun, excitement, and lasting memories!

Awesome family value. You have an awesome free water park and the availability of great cafe's for a good lunch. Kids love it, there are water slides for a small price and a water kids ninja course. A great day out for the family. 👍😊

Great facility, good experience for the kids. Water is a bit cold though and since this park is by the beach, it can get very windy. It's fun for a little while, but can get cold!

Fun experience for the whole family! Water Park is free. Pay for slides and ninja course. Food on site. Get in early to nab a table! A must do when visiting Hervey Bay.
The Hervey Bay Botanic Gardens is a serene and picturesque garden that offers visitors the opportunity to view a wide range of bird and wildlife species. The gardens boast an orchid house and a small pond, as well as a fantastic nature play area for children to explore. The Chinese garden is particularly noteworthy, while strolling around the rest of the garden provides peace and tranquility.
A beautiful oasis. So much variety pscked into these gardens that are so conveniently located close to the beach and Urangan shops.
The labyrinth is a delightful experience. The Chinese gardens give a great sense of experience and the tortoises in the pond were a lovely surprise popping their heads up to have a look at me.
I also enjoyed the orchid house.
Lots of room for picnics.

Gorgeous gardens with lots of interesting things for the kids to see and explore. The nature play area was amazing.
We weren’t able to visit the orchid house today which was disappointing but looks great from outside.

The Chinese garden is very nice. The walk around the rest of the garden is peaceful.
Was surprised by the number of people in the area that have reached 100. What a lovely gesture to record this in the gardens.

Visit Hervey Bay often, first time visiting the Botanical Gardens. Enjoyed the Orchid House and Gardens, lovely and cool, very easy walking tracks. We enjoyed spotting the turtles in the water area. No cost, would be great for a picnic or BBQ out of the harsh sun
Nikki Harris — Google review
Sad to say that I found the visit somewhat underwhelming. A major attraction seems to be the orchid house and on a sunny Saturday morning in Winter (grey nomad tourist season) it was closed. There are some interesting vistas and structures, plenty of birdlife, tortoises in the pond to amuse the kiddies. Some signage on the layout and length of the walking tracks would be nice however, and an occasional reference map to place your current location within the garden. Certainly a relaxing place to sit or picnic and some electric barbecues and shade structures are provided.
Scott T — Google review
Pretty good gardens. The majority of it seems to be just a trail through some bush land. I thought there would be some more features to be honest. It does give a feel of a bush walk without actually having to go into the bush.
There is a tiny Chinese gardens section which is quite well maintained.
There is also a tiny children's play area.
Howard Fan — Google review
The orchid house was just beautiful and has volunteers ready to answer your questions. We loved seeing the turtles near the Japanese bridge- there were so many! A very enjoyable stroll through beautiful gardens.

A great place for a picnic and a walk around the grounds. Wheel chair access to most areas.
Dave Price — Google review
Hervey Bay Botanic Garden is a good garden with a lot of potential, but I believe there is room for improvement. The overall experience was positive, and I enjoyed exploring the garden's beauty.
However, I noticed a few areas where they could enhance the visitor experience. Firstly, some parts of the garden appeared to be in need of maintenance, such as overgrown plants and uneven pathways, which made navigation a bit challenging.
Secondly, I would have appreciated more informative signs or plaques about the various plant species and their significance. This would have added an educational aspect to the visit and made it more engaging for visitors.
Additionally, while the garden was enjoyable, I felt that the overall design and layout could be further enhanced to create a more harmonious and captivating environment.
Despite these points, I still had a pleasant time, and with some improvements, the Hervey Bay Botanic Garden could become an even more delightful attraction for nature enthusiasts and visitors alike

Shady space to walk around when it gets to hot. Nice features, like the Chinese Garden and others.
Joshua Boulton (JBCricketball) — Google review
There is a generic Mac & Cheese Botanic Gardens up the front with fun kids stuff, toilets, etc, but down the back reminds me very much of the Noosa North Shore bushland, with some seriously goat track feeling paths. So much like actual bush, but all Museum Fremen in the middle of a country town. Loved it. Nice legit feeling bush walk.

Wifey and I love orchids. The colours are so vibrant. It's the best part of these botanic gardens. A downside is not all plants in the gardens have identifying name tags. Otherwise it's a nice walk.
Ron Johr — Google review
The signage for the gardens is terrible, we were asked by people as we walked around were things were.
The Orchid house is absolutely perfect the flowers are stunning its a shame that the signage of the rest of the place spoils it a bit
Ian Wilson — Google review
I recently had the chance to explore the Hervey Bay Botanical Gardens, and it was quite an interesting experience. The walk through the attractive woodland area was a bit confusing though, as there weren't any signs or information boards to guide me along the way. However, I must say that the natural beauty of the gardens more than made up for it.
The highlight for me was definitely the impressive orchid house. It's a real gem and showcases a stunning variety of orchids. I was in awe of the colors and fragrances that surrounded me. The effort put into maintaining the orchid house truly shines through.
It would be great if the garden management could consider adding some informative signs along the pathways to help visitors navigate better. This would make the experience even more enjoyable and educational.
All in all, the Hervey Bay Botanical Gardens have a lot of potential, and I enjoyed my time there despite the lack of signage. The orchid house alone is worth the visit, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the gardens develop in the future.
Dundowran Beach is a seaside locality in Queensland, Australia's Fraser Coast Region. As per the last census conducted in 2016, this coastal suburb has a population of approximately 2,079 individuals.
Reef World Aquarium is a compact family-friendly attraction where visitors can observe a variety of tropical fish up close. Though smaller compared to other aquariums in Sydney, the knowledgeable and friendly staff make it a memorable experience for all ages. The feeding experiences with turtles and fish are particularly popular. Despite its size, there is still a wide range of animals on display and a small tourist shop available.
We came here for the turtle and fish feeding experiences. Compared to Sydney aquariums, it is a lot smaller, but the staff made it a 10/10 experience. The guy who was working there was friendly and so knowledgeable. He was patient and made sure that we all got an opportunity to feed the animals and also learn about them.
Despite being small, there was still a large range of animals to look at and even a small tourist shop. As the place is small and less well known, it wasn’t too busy which was also very nice.
Just a note: there is parking just beside the aquarium and the entry fee is very reasonable (and also allows you to leave and come back at a later time within the same day). Would definitely recommend!

Nice little place for kids to enjoy. My boys loved the big turtles. Fish feeding and turtle feeding time is the best thing so make sure you don't miss it. 😉
U get a stamp which is valid for whole day. There is a cafe beside it which has a lovely view of see.

Great morning out. It is a small aquarium with a circular indoor tank area, small touch tank and outdoor turtle area, but we loved it. Spent about 2hrs here, the more you looked in the tanks the more cool things to see. Staff very knowledgeable and friendly. Loved patting the turtles and everyone got a chance to feed them.

I loved the experience, petting the turtles and starfish, looking at the fish, sea snake, stone fish and multiple species of fish. I also learnt a lot about them from the walk and talk man Adam who I thought was amazing and very friendly! Loved my experience with the family :)

Lovely little aquarium, the sea turtle feeding at 11am was a great experience. The entry fee includes all day access so you can go back at 230 to feed the fish. Overall a good hour and a half of entertainment for the kids, big and small

Reef World Aquarium was a fantastic experience with the family. If you’re looking for a massive aquarium to spend hours and hours at this isn’t for you.
It’s a small well kept aquarium with some great displays.
If you love friendly, funny staff and up close and personal interactions with Green Sea Turtles this is the place for you!
Ian Martin — Google review
Main attraction of the aquarium for us were the friendly sea turtles which were friendly and occasionally swam over for a interaction/ pat. Turtle feeding sessions were also available and included in the ticket which was purchased at the door.
Otherwise a fairly small aquarium, with a variety of coral fish/small sharks in the center of the room with some smaller tanks on the side displaying more coral species. A small starfish/sea sponge interactive pond is also present.
Small gift shop/next door restaurant cafe is also available.
Friendly and informative staff members.

Amazing experience.
My partner and I throught it would be like sea world where one of the staff members would feed the animal and talk bout the turtles. But no you actually got to touch and feed the turtles yourself. It was amazing. So worth the money.
Katie-anne Tatnell — Google review
Nice aquarium, a bit small but that’s ok. You can see some fish inside and outside you can see the 3 big sea turtles. One of them came really close and you were able to pet him 😁 During the feeding session they told the story behind the turtles. (You can leave and come back during the day).

Came here with my two kids while staying at Hervey Bay. It's a small aquarium but has a lot to occupy time for 2-3hrs. Kids fed and stroked the sea turtles, there was a touch area to stroke starfish, and tanks to investigate. Kids had a wonderful time and we left with a necklace each to remember their time there.

Great place to visit. Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Great selection of interesting fish and we got to feed turtles. Ticket lasts all day so we were able to come back to watch fish feeding in the afternoon. Plus they have good food and coffee and a function centre.

This was a GREAT experience for the family and so affordanble. We only paid Adult $22 and Child $12 plus it included feeding of the animals. Most other parks you have to pay extra ontop of entry to feed animals. There we're not hordes of people and everybody got several turns. Its a small park but so informative and interactive for kids!
chrizelle zwick — Google review
Such a great place to visit. The staff are really friendly and we were so relaxed as we walked around the aquarium. The main experience that excites me the most was that we got to touch and feed the turtles in the morning and because the tickets lasts all day, we were able to come back to watch fish feeding in the afternoon. They do have a cafe onsite but we sadly had other plans for lunch. Parking was great, and we could also walk down the the beach right beside the aquarium. Only issue we had was at the turtle feeding. It was crowded and we had little room to line up, also people with walking difficulties may have issues going down the steps to where the turtles were being feed. The steps going down are very steep and it was a worry using them. I would love to see them replaced and made more safe and accessible. They also have a small gift shop with lovely but randome items in it but it was so hard to find gifts with the Reef World Aquarium name on them, to show that I was here and that I had visted the Reef World Aquarium. Which was very sad. Because I loved my visit to your aquarium.
If you find yourself in Hervey Bay, don't miss the Urangan Pier Park Community Markets held every Saturday. This vibrant market offers a wide variety of local products, from unique crafts to fresh produce. You can start your day with a delicious breakfast at one of the nearby cafes before exploring the market stalls. The friendly vendors are always ready to assist you as you browse through handmade items, plants, and more. After shopping, take a leisurely stroll along the pier for stunning views.

A small but interesting market which is open on Saturdays. There is live music performed during the market times around the food trucks to allow for a bit of music during morning tea. There are also some interesting local trinkets to be bought here. I continued the morning with a stroll along the pier which starts at the end of the market strip.

We went to both the Wednesday and Saturday markets at the pier. Both were small but the saturday one was the better one. Live music is performed during both markets that we attened. Saturday market has the same stalls as wednesday market but they had a handful of extras ones. Limited food trucks on both days. We walked up and down the wednesday market in about 20mins, saturday market had a lot more people but we walked it in about 30 mins. Parking was a nightmare with limited spaces close by and we were just very disapointed in both markets.

The Hervey Bay Regional Gallery, located at the Fraser Coast Cultural Centre, showcases both regional art and touring exhibitions. One notable feature of the centre is a magnificent whale sculpture named Nalla, made of stainless steel and red iron bark, weighing 22 tonnes. Although closed on Mondays, visitors can enjoy a lush green park surrounding the gallery as well as ample parking. The locals frequent this area for walking their families and pets alike. Overall, this impressive building houses fantastic exhibitions for all to enjoy.

An iconic whale statue to visit. We had come the only day the gallery was closed (Monday so you know), though this didn't hinder our visit that much. Everything was made up for in a luscious green park that extends as its front yard. Had no idea that it existed until we arrived. The locals seem to enjoy the park very much, walking their families and their four legged friends. Reccomend taking a stroll. It's a pleasant place to be and parking is great.

This is a great aquatic centre. There's a lovely little paddle pool for the little kids with two shaded areas for when the sun is beating down, and a big tipper bucket that splashes all the older kids and parents if you get under at the right time. There's a big 50m lap pool with one lane open for playing around, and this pool is the one that hosts aqua aerobics and Zumba classes in the mornings. There's an undercover pool that's always very warm, with a lane dedicated to playing and the others for swimming laps. There's also a heated indoor rehabilitation pool, which also allows babies under 2 in with one parent at a time. It's great for those little ones who get too cold too quickly in the other pools. There are plenty of grassy areas, a barbecue area for hosting birthday parties, some areas shaded by trees, some shaded by sails. There's a change area, a cafe, and plenty of benches to have a seat before or after swimming. Wonderful to have such great amenities close to home!

Was great, the indoor lap pool was nice and cool and well shaded. And as you would expect in January the outside pool and kids wading area were very warm.
Biggest fault with this place is to me is that we used to bring out kids here when there was slides and a awesome kids setup.
It is hard to find a patch of water with shade when lap swimming is happening also.
Very clean, lots of staff and were all very friendly 👍 . Good value for money.

Great facilities, friendly staff and patrons. Could do with another 50m pool though! It gets pretty full in the mornings with aqua warriors and the regular lappers. Evenings are probably worse, with squads, recreation and the occasional fitness class, leaving few lanes for lap swimmers.
Another pool is sorely needed!

Nice place for a dip, really like the wading pool as usual enough water to float in to cool off. We went mid week so most lanes in big pool were closed for school and then the wading pool was inundated with young kids...was still nice though. Has shade sales and grassy areas to sit.

Good clean pool and facilities. Best shower ever at an aquatic centre. Friendly helpful staff

Best pool in town, both indoor and outdoor. Needs various updates including changes rooms and toilets. Indoor 25m heated pool closed for renovations March-September 2024.

The Aqua Arrobic classes in the morning are fantastic. Can notice difference in how I'm feeling within weeks. Gentle or as hard as you want

Awesome clean pool. Enough lifeguards patrolling the edges.
Paul Aherne — Google review
Oh my cod, let me tell you, the staff at this place are top-notch! They're so friendly and helpful, they could make a grumpy old sea bass crack a smile. And don't even get me started on the pools, they're so well-maintained you could practically see your reflection in the water (if you don't mind looking like a bloated blowfish, that is). But the real catch of the day? Their hot chips! They're so crispy and delicious, you'll want to keep eating them until you're stuffed like a sardine. So if you're looking for a place with great staff, awesome pools, and some seriously tasty treats, this is the plaice for you!

Good quality material clothes and kinds of exotic styles. Merry Christmas 😀

As I walked through this gallery I was struck by how amazing and authentic Ashleighs work is. I came away with 3 pieces and I am planning on purchasing more. Both Ashleigh and his work are extraordinary and I am looking forward to my next visit

Stunning paintings of God's creation, beautifully done Ashleigh.
Excellent shopping centre in Hervey Bay. Lots of parking under shade sails. All the big retailer's. Easy access from several entrances.
Paul Wilson — Google review
Great community hub, lots of interesting shops for browsing. Car park layout is a bit random with all the separate developments (if you want to go to McDonald’s from Stockland, best bet is to park beside Spotlight and walk over).
Daniel Carley — Google review
I find this shopping centres parking to be pretty ordinary. It simply has not expanded to cope with the expansion Hervey Bay is experiencing.
As for the variety of the shops, it is one of the best in Hervey Bay
Alan Osborne — Google review
Enjoyed a good look around this shopping centre. We biked there and used the bike racks, very handy. Toilets clean 👍
Vicki Thomas — Google review
Large centre with some great shops.
Large car park which has connections on most if not all sides for multiple entrances.
Always very clean and always looked cared for.
Would be great to add a somewhere to make finding things easier!

Stocklands is the area's best shopping spot sharing space with a food hall and some nice mini restaurants. Loads of parking esp. on the roof.
Brett Moore — Google review
Great range of shops. Plenty of options for lunch. Plenty of car parks. A bit hard to negotiate the car park when busy.
Janine Kenyon — Google review
Nice, modern feel with a nice variety of shops to browse. Food court is a little small, but the food quality is fantastic!

Great shopping centre. Has a large range of shops to cater for everyone. Clean toilet facilities and services. Worth a look if you are in the area.

Nice shopping center. Would like more variety of shops. More choices in the food court would be good. Donut king has best coffee I have found.

As with most Stockland shopping centres
Great range of shops and always clean
Management you need a 🏆🥇 Award .
Great parking, although it can be hard to find a park in busy times but that is all shopping centres anyway.
Adrian Styles — Google review
It's the biggest shopping centre on the fraser Coast. Very busy on the weekends and can be hard to park. Has most of what you need, including some chain stores. A small food court with a range of cuisines as well as a couple of coffee shops.
Kristy Armstrong — Google review
Terribly planned and executed shopping mall. Parking lots are littered all around the perimeter.
Food court is literally flung to one side of the centre, rather than being in the middle where any other intelligent person designing a shopping mall would place it.
Brooke McDermott — Google review
Not a bad shopping centre. Can get pretty much all that is needed in general everyday life 👍

Has nearly every shop you could need, lots of different places you can park. I wish they had a parking area for caravan/campers or those with trailers.
The place inside is always nice & clean

It is ok as far as a country shopping centre goes. Perhaps a couple of toilet amenities could be added, especially if you are a disabled person and are on crutches.

Easy to access....Well laid out...Plenty of parking...a Great variety of shopping options...Shops competitive in their prices.....
Jan MacAlpine — Google review
standard shopping centre with a decent variety but honestly too small with how fast the rate Hervey Bay is growing . The car park needs to be bigger as well .
Angel Van Tovier — Google review
Good once you're in there The best Coles in HB, JB, Kmart etc - a maze of roads, tiny roundabouts, entries and parking areas to navigate , but good once you're in.
The hearing test hawkers bothering passersby should be ejected from the premises with shouts of "I CANT HEAR YOU!" though. Piss me off every time...
Urangan Pier, a historically significant pier previously used for cargo transfer, is now a popular spot for fishing and scenic views. Despite its considerable length, it makes for a pleasant morning stroll in good weather. Anglers can often be spotted casting their lines along the sides of the pier, while at the end you are treated to an expansive view of the horizon - particularly stunning during sunset.
A very long walk but quite nice for a morning stroll with nice weather. There are often people fishing along the sides of the pier, and at the end of the pier you get a nice wide open view of the horizon (probably would be quite nice during sunset!)
The pier does get quite windy as there is nothing to block the coastal winds, but it’s not too bad.
If you’re lucky, you’ll also see some wildlife - like little birds flying about or resting on the side of the pier, or fish in the ocean!

Nice long walk along the beach and coastline. Beautiful views across the water. There's some places to get some food (fish and chips) nearby. Lovely place to visit and relax

I went here yesterday morning at around 7am prior to my drive home to Brisbane.
Absolutely gorgeous, great spot to go for a refreshing walk. People are lovely, would love to come back here for sure!
Kimberley Holland — Google review
The perfect spot for an evening walk to admire the sunset, or set yourself up along the side to fish. Whatever the reason, anyone in the area needs to walk along this pier at least once. It is quite a walk to the end and back so just keep that in mind.
T Brown — Google review
What an amazingly long pier! The sand banks & sea stretch out either side, when the tide 8s low. Worth the walk. Many were fishing 🎣 🤗
Cheryl Camp — Google review
Sunset walk along the beach by the Pier was lovely. We watched the lights come on as the sun set at low tide over the bay. After 3pm dogs are permitted off leach on the stretch of beach between the Pier and the aquarium. On our return walk to the Pier we saw the migrating fruit bats flying overhead to their nightly feeding area. This flyover continued for over 20 minutes hinting at the large population of fruit bats in the area but other than their passover we didn't see any roosting nearby.
Their is a well patronized fish and chip shop at the Pier and a well keep public green space where markets are held. Lovely location for a walk.
Louise Tome — Google review
Such a lovely Pier. My partner and I walked all the way to the end and back and it's a decent walk. We took our time, stopped to take a few pics at the end and it just took us over 30 minutes to walk it. Sadly we did see some walkers struggle and saw only a couple of wooden seats closer to the end of the pier. To make it more accessable and compable to all walkers, I would really would love to see a bit more setting along the whole pier. Other than that the views are stunning along the whole pier.
Natasha Parker — Google review
Was a lovely little pier and nice to see so many fishing 🎣 if you look hard enough you can see the fishes! Very pleasant and free can’t ask for more 🤗

Urangan pier, such a beautiful place & so photogenic :) good walk up on it but this time we were under it :) walked from waterfront restaurant to the pier and back, lovely walk with hubby, kids & our dog :)

This is the get together spot for Urangan. People walking their dogs, taking the kiddies to play in the shade and the older people cathing up with their friends. Late afternoon, people have a bite to eat with loved ones. Awesome place.
Martie Greeff — Google review
Very pretty place but couldn't actually walk along the pier as dogs are not allowed. Instead we went down to the beach next to the pier which was fantastic. Dogs allowed on lead all times and off leash at certain times. Could walk out pretty far as tide was low and while the pier was quite crowded, the beach was basically empty which allowed us to get some great shots of the pier from afar.

I love Hervey Bay. It's grown sooo much since I was there last. The Pier Caravan Park, in Urangan is a great place to stay
Kris Gallagher — Google review
Wow, what a Pier. My wife and I walked it today and it's a good walk. We are not slow walkers yet it took us over 30 minutes, out and back. It's wonderful walking out to the end, you almost feel like it would take you to Fraser Island. And the sunset from on the pier is spectacular. If you get a chance, definitely visit and walk its length.

Urangan Pier is indeed one of the most impressive piers in Queensland! Its beauty and scenic views are truly captivating. While I don't have personal opinions, I can certainly understand why many people find it to be among the best.
Its length, history, and the stunning vistas it offers make it a popular spot for both locals and tourists. Whether you're taking a leisurely stroll, fishing, or simply admiring the surrounding beauty, Urangan Pier is undoubtedly a must-visit destination in Queensland.

We measure that it was approximately 2 km return to the car.
The walk was so relaxing but bumpy, be wearing of flying rods and if your planning to just go for a walk or even fishing make sure that you wear a thick layer of sunscreen and a hat, in just the 20min walk talking to fisherman we were cooked

The pier is amazing! Almost a km long! You can see turtles, dolphins, loads of fish varieties and even a dugong!
The pier is kept exceptionally clean and I was impressed with the containers for fishermen's waste.

This is a charming place to go to and get the history behind it. It is 1.1 Km long which indicates good exercise and a fantastic view. The added bonus is spotting the fish in the sea and there was plenty of them

Even though it was quite a windy day, I thought it was spectacular, and would have given it a 5 if I could have take my dog with me for the almost 1km walk out to the point.
We stayed here 3 nights while visiting Fraser Island. Excellent location, very friendly staff and the installations were very nice and clean as well.
Amazing view to the beach and if you like running, this place is just next to the Esplanade that has a very long trail across the Coast.
We also dine at an Indian restaurant across the street from the Campground, was really nice and is very close to a Mini Market, ideal to buy last minute needs

We had an AWESOME TIME at Scarness Beachfront Tourist Park camping for 8 days. The amenities were cleaned every day and the park managers were wonderful and very kind always waved as they went past or just to stop and chat. All areas of the park were cleaned very say. All the camper were well behaved. All up I would give the Park a 10 out of 10. I really could not fault them. I will be more than happy to recommend this park to everyone I know.
Thank you so much.

We had a great stay here! Everything is clean and the guys running the caravan park are very friendly and supportive.
Sites are directly at the beach and you can hear the ocean :-) Lot's of food possibilities are within 5 min walk as well as a small supermarket.
Prices may differ over the season as I go through the comments: We payed 22,50$ for a night with two person on a unpowered beach-side (but with water and waste water!).
Absolutely recommended to stay here if you are around!

Ellen has been an absolute delight to work with.
We wanted a statement piece for the living room in our new home and found Ellen's website by chance. After speaking with Ellen about what was possible for our space, we faced the task of choosing which of her beautiful photos suited our space best. This was the hardest part of the process!
We narrowed our choices to 3 and Ellen happily did mockups from which we chose the final one.
Ellen kept us up to date with delivery times and fitted in with our schedule. We couldn't be happier. The quality of the piece is evident and it will feature in our home for many years to come. We would highly recommend Ellen for her friendliness, professional approach and the absolute quality of her work.

Had a private lesson as a Christmas present. Ellen aims to teach you how to make a good photo, perfect. Avid photographers are always trying to get that perfect shot, Ellen will teach you what you need to know so you take the picture perfectly in the moment. Instead of heres how to take a good photo, now put on to the computer to edit it to smithereens, hoping that the quality is good enough to be able to edit.
Her years of experience in a multitude of surroundings, gives her the ability to showcase the tips and tricks any photographer needs on the fly. This is evident in her studio.

The Hervey Bay Historical Village & Museum is a fascinating living history village that displays 21 old buildings and a vast collection of artifacts. They host weekly demonstrations, making it an ideal place to learn about the past. The exhibits are rare and plentiful, with the Scout den and garage being among the favorites. The hosts are welcoming, adding to the overall experience of exploring what life was like in those good old days.

This museum is absolutely amazing.
The historical buildings and treasure trove of antiques provide visitors to the area a remarkable insight to life in the past and a wonderful trip down memory lane.
The volunteers do an incredible job and should be praised for their amazing efforts.
The photos are a very, very small sample of what you can expect to see.
Set yourself two days to truly enjoy the experience of this blast from the past visit.

Outstanding exhibition of historical artefacts. Almost didn't go in because it looks quite small from the front, but inside is a beautifully presented, spacious complete village. The exhibits are presented in astounding, accurate vignettes depicting local early life in the region. We attended on an Antique Fair day and the usual $10 entry was reduced to $5. Even paying full price you will be very happy with the experience. The village is set among beautifully curated gardens and is a delightful walk.

Pretty awesome place. Way larger than we thought, from the entrance. We really enjoyed walking around all the village, there was so much contained in every building & room! A bit shocking to see how much of the stuff we have actually used! Haha 🤣

I took my GranD children aged 4 to 10 and they enjoyed it too.
The gardens are beautiful and the displays very interesting.
The idea of the search list for the children kept them interested and looking at displays that they may not have been interested in otherwise.
Thank you to all those volunteers and the council for providing this.

We visited last year and loved it so much, we came down from Gladstone again to show my parents. The group of us (ages ranging from 10 to 70) had the best day and learned a lot.
The displays are very well looked after and the descriptions provided offer a great insight into how life used to be. It takes the whole day to see everything and you can't miss the demonstrations from knowledgeable locals. I loved that during the corn and rope demonstrations, David included some information about the traditional owners, how the suburbs got their names and the history of the museum itself, as well as some great stories from his own life. The blacksmith demonstration was interesting and informative, answering questions I wouldn't have even thought to ask.
My daughter was never interested in reading until our last visit, now she loves biographies from the past. Thank you all so much for inspiring the next generation to learn and take an interest in history.
