What an impressive gallery! I walked in not knowing what to expect and was completely blown away.
Not only does it covers the history of the town which was unknown to me and amazing, it covers the reef, the geology, the desert, the eco system.
I was very very impressed especially by the floor to ceiling aquarium where I could have sat for hours watching the underwater reality show unfolding in front of my eyes.
Great great job to the town that created this community hub and showcase.

Nice little aquarium and reptile display, with a lot of information on the history of the area. I also liked the cyclone room, which simulates the experience of being in a cyclone. Unfortunately when I visited there were some uncontrolled kids screaming and running all over the place. Not the fault of the venue though.

Great exhibits, and the AC was very cool on a hot summer day.

The information at the counter was not clearly and exactly. Expencivemouth emergency camping 50 $ is a rip off, you have no choice, all full booked. In the center they don't charge a phone, not helpful at all, feeling is, that international guests not welcome. Expencivemouth doesn't have the infrastructure to host much people, not even their own Ozzies. Leave this area after 1 night. Thank you for nothing. You have no booking, don't go here. 1 star is to much.

$21 is the entry price for the aquarium and it’s just to expensive.
Its one big room with few tanks, most of them seems a bit to small for the animals.
Especially the terrariums for the lizards and snakes were just loveless.
No signs or informations about the fish’s in the tanks just like: who is in - that’s it.
So don’t expect to much and better grab your mask and fins, drive to the reef and have a look at the corals and all of their residents in their natural habitat.
We wouldn't have gone in, if we hadn't had to wait until 2pm for the special sale of the overflow campsites, which spends you up to half the day of your vacations.
This was very annoying! Because you stand approximately up to half an hour in the queue waiting and of course, for being early to secure a site at all.
Overflow camping is juicy 50$ 2p. unpowered. Just in a emergency -you have to explain the camp host your emergency - than you have the chance to get a 60$ powered site.
They put you on a large gravel area behind the football field, with toilets and showers in a container.
You can stay just three nights in a row, not longer and you can’t split it.
So after or before?
What can you do, if you didn’t suppose that all national park spots and all of the huge holiday parks and resorts fully booked, what when you already have booked a whaleshark and a humpback tour?
When we asked, they said you can drive 60km out of town, back on a normal highway rest area.
Thanks for that.
By the way, 30km out of the city there is a rest area too. It’s before the sign that says Camping is prohibited everywhere.
Anyway, the overflow camp is the only opportunity to stay in Exmouth, if you decided to come, without a year in advance booking.
All in all we were not happy with the informations we get and don’t feel very welcomed as international tourists in this town.
Two stars for friendly staff and clean toilets.

Great little centre with lots of historical and marine information regarding the area. They have a large tank set up to show the coral and fish in the surrounding reef. They have a display of live reptiles. They also had a bus the American services used during the war, which the kids thought was wonderful as you could get on it and sit in seats with interactive screens you could watch. Lovely little Cafe next door with delicious food and toilets are also in the centre. The whole centre was wheelchair accessible too.

We really enjoyed the Ningaloo Aquarium and Discovery centre! Interesting and informative history of Exmouth with interactive displays. The cyclone room was a great experience. The aquarium was beautiful. Kids got to design a fish and see it released onto a digital aquarium which was fun. We also found the land animal displays and tanks really cool too.
Highly recommend!!

Christine was so helpful with information about the local attractions and must see Exmouth locations. Christine also booked us in with Ningaloo Discovery for a trip on a catamaran out to Ningaloo reef where we got to swim with a whale shark. A fabulous experience!

With so much going on regarding the SOLAR ECLIPSE, and so much information to share regarding activities and accessibility this was a most disappointing information exchange.
Govt spending this year alone for the eclipse was $19.3 million.!!
Accessing contact points for accommodation was not available.
Working my way through the QR was a confusing and useless waste of time.
Some of the young staff were saying attractions that were available last year have been closed for years, I understand trying to keep some foreign visitors safe, but don't lie to me!!
Overall the local businesses should be ropeable with the pitifully neglected share of information, there was now waiting anywhere, the place was empty. 10 months ago 60 Thousand were forecast, approx 16,000 had arrived two days prior to the eclipse and the Welch St. Overflow was not accepting any more campers , less than a third of a potential.
I recently had the pleasure of diving with Dive Ningaloo in Exmouth, and it was an unforgettable experience. The staff, especially Ryan the dive master and Joe the boat captain, were absolutely fantastic. Their professionalism and enthusiasm added so much to the trip. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking sighting of a Manta Ray at Blizzard, a moment I'll treasure forever. Additionally, the navy pier dive was exceptional, offering an incredible array of marine life. Overall, Dive Ningaloo provided top-notch service and unforgettable dives, making it an absolute must for anyone visiting Exmouth.

The big 3!! Absolutely unreal three days diving with Dive Ningaloo! The crew were fantastic, the dive sites were incredible and we can’t wait to come back and do it all again!
Booking our dives was so easy and seamless, our trip time didn’t line up with the online bookings but the team at DN made sure we got to dive all three sites and make the most of our time in Exmouth, can’t recommend this company enough :) Thank you!!

Cannot recommend these guys highly enough! We had an amazing couple of days out diving with the crew and had the best time. Convenient pick ups (and they're not at the crack of dawn) and drop offs, easy BBQ lunches, excellent skippers & crew, good location for their boat Keto - minimal other boats around so easy access and no waiting around. Just a very well run operation overall.
Big ups to Jade, Fab, and DMT Charlie - they were so fun and brought all the vibes; and to Maria, who replied to all my hectic emails and phone calls and planned our days out perfectly. Thanks for making our time so special!

We just completed a 3 night dive/snorkel trip. A fantastic time; lots of coral, amazing fish and whales. Crew were fantastic. The accommodation was fine but be aware that if you score the below deck port hole bunk bed room, it is the same price as the better rooms, so book early as it gets very musty and noisy down there...

I just had to talk about my personal experience with dive ningaloo. So it started for me when I went for a discover dive to see weather or not i could dive (because I have ear problems). Everything changed as soon as I arrived at the boat and met my instructor for the day. I explained to my instructor about my problem and she said no worrys she will do everything so that i will feel comfortable. Took me a bit of time to get to the bottom and ajust but after that I was at the sea floor swimming like I had no problems. she was very helpful when she explained to me how to overcome my problem. So because of how comfortable and comfident all the crew and my instructor of course. I went back and did my open water course with them and passed with no problems.
So I just wanted to share my personal experience and say thanks to all the crew instructors, deckes,Skippy's,receptionists, and last to the two wonderful girls who were doing there masters. If you are having any doubts about diving with them then don't you will have the best time of your life.
you were all so kind and amazing thanks for everything you guys are awesome 🤙

Nice customer care with guides who have a keen interest & knowledge of the aquatic life of Ningaloo. Banter was top notch also 😜 The Dolphin Whispering was a keen highlight. Yewwww! Wonderful morning of diving. Great crew, very professional and friendly. All equipment provided and was a great standard.
We were able to complete two dives and saw such a variety of marine life on both dives including sharks, octopus and lion fish.

During my recent stay at Ningaloo, I was diving with Dive Ningaloo six times.
At the office, I was greeted by Louise, who gave me useful information about the area, with plenty of tips for diving and snorkelling.
During my dive trips I met Ryan, Jaime, Bianca, and Justine and all of them were highly professional, knowledgeable about the dive sites and extremely helpful.
Ryan provided excellent dive briefing each time and he was a fantastic dive guide.
Jaime and Bianca also worked very hard to make our dives and the experience the best possible.
Diving at Ningaloo Reef and its surrounding area is extremely special, and I strongly recommend Dive Ningaloo and their excellent services for everyone to enjoy the most of it.

I dove the Muiron Islands and the Exmouth Navy Pier with Dive Ningaloo and had an amazing time. Joe, Bianca, Juliana, Ellie, Jaime, Ryan, Helene, Fabs and the rest of the team were incredible. Not only were they professional and meticulous with safety protocol, but they were also extremely knowledgeable about each dive site and also facilitated a really positive environment. Both the dives and the vibes were incredible at every site. Smooth operations, amazing care for the guests, and the insightful staff are some of the reasons I highly recommend Dive Ningaloo to anyone in Exmouth looking to spend some quality time below the surface.

We did two days worth of diving with DN. A big thank you to Helen who did the initial two refresher dives with us on the reef, as it had been a year since our last dive.
We also did the Navy Pier dive. Yes, the visibility was limited, but the abundance of sea life was amazing. Thanks to Maria, Charlie and Ryan for their guidance, assistance and for their focus on safety while enabling us to have this unforgettable experience.

Had my first ever dive with Ally today and she was absolutely amazing!!
I am usually very afraid of deep water but wanted to give diving a go anyway - and she was so patient and overwhelmingly kind throughout the day, re-assuring me that I was doing good and everything was fine.
She always kept an eye on me under water and guided me hand-in-hand through the fascinating new world.

Heavily recommend booking your Exmouth diving with Dive Ningaloo, always find them professional, organised and fun!
Shout out to Ryan for taking us out this week, so relaxed and friendly, and Iowan (if spelt right!) and Jade too.
We love Dive Ningaloo and find the instructors are the perfect blend of being safety conscious and still treating you with respect - not speaking to down to you as other dive companies can often do with social divers.
Definitely dive the Navy Pier if you have time!

Went to the Muiron Islands yesterday. I have to say what a fantastic experience, much enhanced by an amazing crew. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, but for us the stand-out was definitely Juliana from Columbia ( who let me call her Rhianna all day cos I'm a silly old sod with bad hearing ). She did a fantastic job of looking after my wife and I. She was extremely informative, with much knowledge of all we saw, so very friendly and just amazingly helpful, and also very dillegent when we were in the water. She made the trip for us. Visibility was good, we saw quite a few turtles, all manor of fish, and lots of undamaged coral. Great day out, thanks crew, thanks Juliana 😊

I was on a dive tour in March with my wife. We just went snorkelling but had a very enjoyable day. The captain and staff were all knowledgeable and friendly. We went to two sites off Muiron Island and saw a good assortment of coral, fish, sharks, turtles…. I would highly recommend them.

Gorgeous beach. Long stretches of clean sand for recreation and picnics. Little shade so make sure you bring your own! Water is quite shallow even meters out making it perfect for kids of all ages. Stocked full of shells and millions of unique pebbles. Short drive from RAC campground beach is very easily accessed.

Great beach for a swim when the tide is in. The beach has small rocks and broken coral all the way along in the tidal zone so bare feet aren't a great choice for a walk along it. There are two 4WD access points and many drive right onto the beach to setup shade and bbqs for an afternoon session.

I have been a customer of the Exmouth Pharmacy for over 30 years, and always had a friendly and professional experience from them.I've had several skin issues over the past few years, and just recently a skin cancer removed from the lower leg, which called for a skin graft. The wound took quite a while this time around to heal. Rosie suggested I try Solugel on the wound. It made a great improvement to the healing process, just after using it for 7 days. I'm giving Solugel 5/5, and Rosie's advice 5/5.
Thank you very much...K

Potshot hotel located in the center of Exmouth offers a laid-back accommodation with clean rooms and spacious dorms. The lodging features dining, three bars, and an outdoor pool for guests to relax. However, the hostel needs to improve its kitchen facilities as it lacks plates, bowls, cups, and glasses. The restaurant serves delicious food including steak served on a hot stone and scallops while the kid's meal fish and chips come with five fillets of fish and plenty of chips.
Rooms were decent (6 bed dorm) with ensuit bathroom and a fridge so didn't have to share with too many people. The swimming pool and bar were very appreciated in the really hot weather.

Food and kitchen/serving staff (inc bar staff in restaurant) really friendly and helpful. Food good. - 4stars
Unfortunately, staff serving in tavern side of bar completely the opposite - miserable and unfriendly choosing to ignore us waiting and prefer to serve what I presume were locals tripping into the bar after us. Not advised of last orders an very promptly 'kicked out' without being allowed to finish our pool game (even though local patrons continued to drink in the beer garden- 1 star

I was accommodated in a room which connects directly with the pub next door which had a loud live band playing until just before midnight. To the band’s credit, they were pretty good. However, I might have been more appreciative had I not been dead tired and just wanted to sleep.
Otherwise, the joint was adequate.

Absolutely brilliant! We had such a terrible experience down the road at Cadillacs where the guy there was horrendously rude. After taking all our families there for footy and lunch we walked out after half a drink because of how bad he was. Will never go back. We arrived at the Potshot feeling angry and frustrated only to be met by an amazing level of service. The bartender was incredible and nothing was a problem. His female manager was amazing. The server at the food area looked after the kids with a smile. We come from hospo backgrounds and it was so refreshing to see this place running like this. These guys deserve a medal. Unreal to have two polar opposite experiences just a few hundred metres away from each other. Loved it so much we’ll probably take all the families back today. Feel like we wanna thank these guys. Well done crew.

Stayed in a backpacker queen room, doesn’t quite match the description online. Room hadn’t been cleaned properly beforehand, there was hair in the showers and the floor was extremely dirty. We were also disappointed to find out the pool area and bar/restaurant was closed on Christmas Day as it is advertised on their website as open 365 days a year. We only found out it was closed 2 days beforehand via Facebook, so couldn’t book anywhere else to eat on Christmas Day. You are also only provided with a blanket and not a quilt. Wifi does not reach the rooms which is a bit rubbish considering the signal is poor in Exmouth. Overall I would not recommend staying here, we understand with backpacker accom you expect less but cleanliness is not much to ask for.

Central in Exmouth with its own pool and bar plus good WiFi. Rooms are clean and dorms are spacious, however, this is another hostel that could be so much better if attention was paid to the facilities on offer in the kitchen. A lack of plates, bowls, cups and glasses is a real niggle. However, I would certainly stay again and I would recommend it

As a pub the venue is great and as a motel it has a lovely garden area with pool and bar. Cocktails, wide menu, pizza, excellent
Really wanted the steak but they would only serve it on the hot stone and with my 18month old climbing around now seemed a recipe for disaster. Otherwise would have received a five star.

Personeel is vriendelijk. Keuken is gemeenschappelijk en redelijk schoon. Weinig kommen en borden aanwezig en alles is plastic. Er is een locker room om je bagage tijdelijk in te stallen. Sleutelborg is 20 AUD. Bar en restaurant naast de deur, maar sluit om 9 pm al de deuren. Behalve minimaal wat fris, veel alcohol keuze. Geen warme dranken. Keuken was redelijk. Een wasserette waarvoor je 5 AUD en 4 AUD voor drogen betaald. Was er een werkende wifi, en meer badkamers/wc, en minder gammel, had ik het verblijf 4,5 tot 5 sterren gegeven.

Located on the outskirts of Exmouth. Lots of choice of rooms and dorms. Reasonable price, neat and clean, leakage in the bathroom was quickly resolved, but some water damage was visible in the shower cubicle in the private room. In dorm only 1 bathroom for 6 people. Spacious, clean dorm rooms. No separate toilet or shower elsewhere. Some private rooms are new and if you are unlucky you will be in an old tin can. AC and TV everywhere. WiFi absent. Took quite a while to get it made. And if it is there, only in the common area. So we had to look for WiFi in the village. Staff are friendly. Kitchen is communal and fairly clean. Few bowls and plates available and everything is plastic. There is a locker room to temporarily store your luggage. Key deposit is AUD 20. Bar and restaurant next door, but closes at 9 pm. Besides at least some soft drinks, there is a lot of alcohol choice. No hot drinks. Kitchen was reasonable. A launderette for which you pay 5 AUD and 4 AUD for drying. If there was working WiFi, and more bathrooms/toilet, and less rickety, I would have given the stay 4.5 to 5 stars.
