Neil Hawkins Park is a recreational area that offers various activities for families, including playgrounds, picnic facilities with grills, and lake access. It holds significance to the Noongar people as their traditional land custodians. Visitors should be cautious of snakes on the bike trails and keep an eye out for wildlife when bringing pets. The park features a scenic bike trail through an ancient forest and provides sheds with barbecue facilities and bathrooms for outdoor gatherings.
This site is an important site for the Noongar people and I have to begin by paying my respects to them as the traditional and original custodians of this country as well as to their elders past and present…Amazing park for family with a wide range of activities, snakes have been sighted here so if you intend to take the scenic bike ride just be careful. Pets are allowed but pay attention to the wildlife. There’s also a bike trail with fantastic scenes thru an ancient forest. They provide sheds with barbecue facilities and bathrooms so outdoor hangout is covered ä from all angles. I didn’t spot a shop close by so get everything you need before coming.

A beautiful spot for a quiet, mindful walk, lake views and some bird spotting. Dual walking and cycling tracks surround the lake. Family friendly too with picnic tables, a playground and plenty of room to kick a ball around. The toilets are clean, but don't always have soap, so it pays to bring hand sanitizer or wipes.

A beautiful outdoor lake and bush environment. I enjoyed an easy pathed 8km walk ... taking in the local flora and fauna. Most picturesque with water birds on the lake, jetty, shoreline and paths. Picnic cove is perfect for families with playground and undulating green lawns. The pathway crosses that of the inquisitive kangaroos, noisy parrots, grazing sacred ibis and other occasional walkers, runners, cyclists, and prammers. Toilets and parking is easy and accessible. Picnic tables available too.

Such a beautiful walking and cycling trial.
Kids friendly, disable accessibility, toilets are at the begging but not in the middle of the trails so be prepared.
Dogs friendly with latch on.
It can actually take up to the reef.
I recommend visiting early morning.
Recommend bringing water bottles and some snacks.
There is play ground at the front and after couple of kms later, however second play ground can accessed by driving as well.
Many beautiful spots for picnic during bright days.
Be aware of snakes!

Westfield Whitford City is a large and popular shopping mall in Perth, Western Australia. It has a wide range of stores, including Kmart, Big W, Woolworths, Peter Alexander, Jamaica Blue Pharmacy and lots more. The mall also has an outdoor area with playgrounds and a children's equipment area.
A great shopping centre with Kmart, Big W and Woolworths as well Peter Alexander and Jamaica Blue and a fantastic Pharmacy 777. There are lots of others shops as well. It also has a nice outdoor area to take the children and play equipment area for the children to enjoy.

Loved this mall. The parent room was clean, had seating and a gated area. This was the only reason we had a relaxed lunch. There is a little indoor play area again gated. And another due to be built. It's an interesting place with lots of food options.

Title: Unfortunate Experience at the Food Court: Safety and Noise Concerns
Review:
My recent visit to the food court left me disappointed and concerned due to several issues that I encountered. First and foremost, there was a constant and annoying sound blasting across the food court, which significantly affected the overall dining experience. Moreover, what made matters worse was the lack of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) being used by the operator, who repeatedly put his head in harm's way.
Let's delve into these concerns and discuss reasonable reasons for such unfortunate circumstances.
1. Disturbing Noise:
The relentless and bothersome sound that reverberated throughout the food court was incredibly frustrating. It not only disrupted conversations but also made it difficult to enjoy a peaceful meal. Although the exact cause of the noise was not apparent, it would have been beneficial if the management had taken appropriate measures to investigate and resolve this issue promptly.
2. Lack of Proper PPE:
Equally concerning was the operator's disregard for personal safety. It was disheartening to witness them repeatedly putting their head in harm's way without utilizing adequate personal protective equipment. Whether it was due to negligence or lack of awareness, this situation raised valid concerns about the operator's safety and the potential risks involved.
Reasonable Reasons:
While the aforementioned issues are undoubtedly problematic, it's essential to consider potential reasons behind them:
1. Technical Malfunction:
The persistent noise could be a result of an unforeseen technical malfunction. It is possible that the management was unaware of the issue or faced difficulties in resolving it promptly. In such cases, it would be reasonable to expect a formal apology from the establishment along with an assurance that steps will be taken to rectify the situation.
2. Training and Oversight:
The operator's failure to use proper PPE may be attributed to a lack of training or oversight. Perhaps they were not adequately educated on safety protocols or were unaware of the risks involved. It would be reasonable to expect the management to address this issue by providing additional training and enforcing strict safety measures to prevent future incidents.
In conclusion, my experience at the food court was marred by a persistent, irritating noise and the operator's disregard for personal safety. While these concerns are certainly valid, it is essential to consider potential reasons behind them, such as technical malfunctions or inadequate training. Nevertheless, it is crucial for the management to address these issues promptly, offer apologies, and take appropriate measures to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all customers.

Moved next to Whitfords shopping center 4 years ago and we love it 🥰 not too big not too small. Great atmosphere. Have everything you need! Love it . The new playground area next to the food court is amazing ! And the security staffs and receptionists have always been helpfull !

Love that there’s a new playground for the kids in the food court the kids love it! Two things I have concerns for, the first one being that the playground is a bit too close to the bench seat and a lot of kids have come flying off the slide or playground and hit their heads/ faces on the bench. The second concern is the beige step at the bottom being hard to see, I was looking ahead and being that it’s blending in I tripped over it and I’ve since seen other people do the same thing.
But I love the idea of a playground in here!
Thanks

Enjoyed my first visit in a long time to Westfield Whitford City. Plenty of room to move around and floors were not too slippery which I have problems with at a few places. Lots of nice Christmas goodies in a good variety of shops. Also a few places to choose from to eat.

Not too bad apart from the diesel engines left running near the entrance to the shopping centre spewing life shortening fumes and particulates
Shopping centre is too big for those who have mobility issues.
Disabled parking spots taken by those without permits annoys as well

The whole place has a weird smell. You know that smell kids have, which I've always assumed is a combination of grime, sweat and saliva? Well the whole place smells like that and it isn't ideal.
Aside from that horror, the selection of shops seems decent, but I didn't stick around long enough to have a proper look.

First time going there, as live south of river. Drove there, not get lost 😅. Worth going again, spent some money at the Second-hand bookshop which I was able to get some books in a series that I am reading which was great, friendly people to help you as well 😀👍. Had time to look around and parking was easy to get as well. If you haven't been, go and have a look.

Youth massive shopping centre in Perth northern suburbs. Lots of parking but is always very busy so you can struggle to find a parking spot. There is outside open area parking and also multi-story undercover parking. The shopping centre has most shopping outlet stores within the complex, Inc cafes, restaurants and a food court.

This has become my go to shopping centre recently. It’s not as busy as Joondalup or Karrinyup (thankfully), but still has all the shops you want and need. I really enjoy the older style of architecture as well, especially the plants near the escalators, the tiled floors, the use of glass. I really hope they don’t do some big renovation job here and wreck the current chill shopping experience.

Courts out the back are older with not as good lighting. The newer courts are nicer. Haven't played on them myself but teams I've coached have. Great facilities in both the Gym and the Pool and the cafe offers a selection of drinks and food. If you go around 9 or 9:30am, the kids pool area is very quiet so there's plenty of room to swim, walk and exercise. However, the floor of the children's pool area is becoming extremely rough and it scratches legs and toes when ducking under the water.

New fees for using the old slide, and sauna apparently, I entered the sauna to be immediately asked if I had a wrist band, then told I had to leave, sauna was empty, like I was costing them money to run it. Multiple lifeguards but mostly for enforcing rules, and a security guard too? Won't be coming back. Shop has above average prices.

Swimming Pool Review only: great pool for kids, warm water, well maintained with good number of life guards on duty and pools for all ages. Their change rooms are neat and clean too. This place has ample free car parking. But Could get busy during school holidays but that’s expected.
Jagoo Boy — Google review
Went to look at potentially joining the gym. The place is enormous and everything (basketball courts etc. in pristine condition. The pool is closed for renovations and the exercise areas looked same as elsewhere so nothing special. 7 day free trial is a good idea, except you have to go for 7 consecutive days which could be a bit of a problem for those working or with families. We will definitely check for events on the website as their spectator areas are incredible.

It is a very spacious place with good facilities. Everything you need in terms of health in one place. Also, if you are going for Navratri, the venue is awesome with a great team to help you out (once a year, event).

Just returned after the renovation was completed. Unfortunately, nothing appears to be upgraded yet. Heaps of features such as water fountains and sprayer not working. a new charge for the use of the slide!! It's been here for over 12+ years, no upgrade and is rather old. You have to hold your kids from the water. Swimming pools available only in the lessons times not before and after however there is a free unused ones. It is the reason we come here to HBF so unfortunately will not be returning after the current season. The prices at the cafe were also unreasonable. It is totally disappointed place.

Nice place to have a coffee and a cake, if you are into swimming and gym from what I have seen professional classes are available.
Staff are very nice and kind, parking is easy, if you need disabled parking they are patrolled and security checks to see if people have the right permit

Enjoyed a great Father's Day breakfast here. One of the few places I was able to get a booking. The place was almost full but unfortunately a bit understaffed due to illnesses so service was not the quickest but the staff there did a great job none the less. I really enjoyed the big breakfast with the option of pancakes instead of toast. My daughter's avocado on toast was also very good though they forgot to put on the poached egg, this was fixed almost instantly so no real problem. Coffee was good and overall a very nice experience. Glad I made the booking and would be happy to return.

Fast and direct all while STILL doing friendly!! … HUGE improvement over the last visit :) big smiles! … great steak and veg.

Plenty of meat on the ribs, sauce a little on the sweet side. The buffalo wing sauce needed a bit more tang and heat. Portion sizes were very generous. Kids enjoyed their burgers.
Wait staff were attentive and friendly.

Friendly vibe characteristic of the East Village NYC in the 70s. Great food good choice reasonable cost. Handy for a pre-show meal if you're off to the movies . . . . or a post-show meal if you've just been.

I really liked the place, ppl, food, music, location and environment. My platter order was plenty and couldn't finish. Good indoor settings. Lovely staff. Will surely go again.

Great food! We ordered ribs and steak, both cooked well and tasted great. Looking around the other meals looked amazing too! Cool music to help the vibes (although maybe a little loud for some) and very friendly service. Tables are a bit squished together but overall a nice place that I will be going back to

Food is always great, service is amazing. We normally come on Mondays and these 2 girls on shift are yhe absolute bomb! They make you at ease, joke around, come check on you every 10 mins.... definitely one of my fav venues.

Underwhelmed by this place as the reviews are quite good. The burger patties were very small, less than 2 inches across. More bread than meat on a double patty burger. Pork belly was good.
Unable to be served a taster of the beer I wanted to try at the table which is bizarre, I was requested to attend the bar.
Slight inattentive staff, no follow up questions on how the meal was and not offered dessert. Two people at the table and the meals came out separately by a good 5+ minutes. Poor service.

My hubby and I dined at East Village tonight and had the $15 burgers. The burgers were delicious, the meals came out quickly and the customer service was great.
Definitely recommend for a date night or night out with friends or family

East Village is a wonderful venue in Whitfords. A lot of options to suit different tastes, quick service and delicious food. I had the Spiced King George Whiting which was incredible. My only slight critique is that it came with sour cream which isn't mentioned and I have a dairy allergy. Will be back for sure!
Bounce Inc Joondalup is a great place for kids to have fun and burn some energy. The staff are friendly and go over and above to make sure the kids have a good time. It's also great for larger groups, as there is enough space for everyone to play.
I’ve been to this place few times with the kids, and found that staff is very friendly, attentive and courteous.
The location is easy access to location close to freeway, adequate parking and well managed sports complex.
Plenty of space inside for each activity, parents and caregivers can easily walk inside to keep an eye on kids.
Safety notifications well placed on entry to each activity area.
Could get very busy on weekends and School holidays
Overall very reasonably priced great place for kids and adults to enjoy.

Went there for the 7pm session and it was busy as normal especially in the general area. The kids zone was less crowded though which was good for our 3 and 5 year olds. Kids zone area was decent and kept them occupied for the first hour. The staff at reception were super friendly and fun with the kids. However, I rated it 4 stars as the music was played a bit too loud especially as the speakers were near the kids zone area it was hard to hear anything even if the little ones were shouting for help and made our ears ring after.

I really wanted to leave a review today. I have been coming to Bounce for a long time, in fact since it was latitude but I must commend and give recognition to the staff. The last few visits here I have noticed the staff are amazing with interactions with the little children and it has enhanced the enjoyment of coming here. Well done guys. Love this place ❤️ 💕

A wonderful time was had by my granddaughter and her dad at the Bounce Joondalup. The staff and the service was awesome. I booked online and everything was smooth, the young lady at reception was helpful and made us feel welcome as this was my family’s first time using the Venue.

Such a cool place and a great idea. The staff were great and went over and above for our sons birthday. Everyone loved it. My only criticism would be not allowing big kids in the playground area. Had to watch our kids as the big kids were playing quite rough.

The guy who accompanied my daughter and guests during the party was very kind to everyone. He provided a great service and ensured that nothing was lacking and the party was a complete success. All the children had a lot of fun.

A staff member asked my little boy (4yrs) to help collect the balls from the ball pit that had been moved to another area by some bigger kids. He helped for 10 minutes and cleaned it all up. The staff gave him a free entry pass to say thank you. It was a really nice learning opportunity for my son. He helped and he was rewarded.

Kids and teens had lots of fun. Easy-to-reach location and plenty of parking on nearby TransPerth parking site or just take the train. Only 2 minutes away from Edgewater station by walking.

Was a parent of a child invited to a birthday party today. The party host Luke was excellent. He interacted so well with all the kids and ensured everyone had a good time and was included. Polite and courteous too. Very impressed.

I booked a party for my oldest child, her friends and younger siblings.
The party host was amazing! A young lady, full of energy, smiles and ensured my youngest son participated with his older sister. She took hold of his hand, walked around with him, carried him if he was scared; all while making sure all the children had fun.
This young lady us a credit to BounceInc.
I will be booking my next party here, and I can't wait to visit soon.
Thanks for a great day!

Safety first, I was impressed with the thoroughness of the staff at Bounce Joondalup. In the hectic nature of school holidays every staff member was doing their job and I noticed they were all very active in ensuring kids were doing the right thing. It was reassuring to see that safety seemed a priority in every aspect at Bounce. A big thanks to all the staff.

Awesome staff and a great place to have fun for all ages.
The staff members showed my 5years old how to do different jumps and tricks, staff spent 2 hours keeping my little one entertained. Great staff members with big natural smiles 😁. They truly deserve a bonus. Thank you and see you again next week

I never give full marks for anything as I always feel people and companies can always improve. However cannot fault today. My daughter who had a tough year absolutely loved her time. Our host was incredibly kind and caring and fun. The staff were friendly and great. Very helpful when I asked anything. All the kids said they absolutely loved it.

I love that they have a mini bounce area for little kids. It's closed off, has seating and it's totally safe. It would be perfect if there was all little cafe area down stairs too so you didn't have to leave the little kids. But great venue!!

This place is kid friendly and the facilities are great for parents to monitor their kids without being on the floor with them. The cafe overseas the entire gym. It can get very packed in the weekend, so I recommend coming in early or attending during the off peak hours. Parking is also limited during the weekends. The cafe coffee is average, but the staff are friendly and polite. The great thing is they have lots of staff that work on the floor to ensure your safety. Cleanliness wise, the bathrooms and the turf could be maintained a little better as it can appear messy and unkept.

Bounce Joondalup are fantastic. My very excited and eager 3 kids were greeted by the absolute best young lady. She spoke beautifully to my children and fastened their wristbands with the biggest smile. All the staff were so helpful and encouraging to my little ones trying new heights with their own personal cheer squad from the staff. Thank you so much! Perfect day for me too!

Even from booking online, this was a fabulous experience - everything was so smooth and easy! I took my 3 year old grand-daughter to Bounce for the first time last week, she loved it, and in particular a staff member, Tahlia, who took much care with her, reassuring her and explaining how to 'work' the equipment. Great variety of equipment and play environments for all ages and I was also impressed to see staff wiping and sanitising the hand rails on the stairs! Great emphasis on safety here too and announcements to advise when sessions were closing. Will certainly go back!
The heritage museum Cockman House in Wanneroo is a remarkable historical site with a significant cultural background. It is located near Lake Yellagonga, in close proximity to the bustling Perth city. Before its temporary closure for winter next week, many visitors, including long-time residents like myself, had the opportunity to explore and appreciate this place. The volunteers and staff who maintain the museum deserve recognition for their dedication in keeping it accessible rather than closed off.
What a wonderful piece of history of the area surrounding the Lake Yellagonga area.
This area has such a rich and culturally significant heritage that is right here on the doorstep of the Perth modern metropolis.
Having lived in the area for nearly 30 years I am glad we took the time to visit before it closes for winter, next week.
Quite a few others had the same thought, but that created such a wonderful appreciation for the volunteers and staff that keep this place operational, rather than fenced off.

Fantastic walk through a part of WA’s history. Buildings are well preserved. The walk is approximately 3.1km long and very flat and easy. Great also for cycling or walking your dog.

Awesome family outing with lots to see and learn about. There were craft activities for kids and also outdoor games and activities. Plenty of lawn to sit and have a picnic too. Highly recommend.

This place is great! We went as part of a school tour, Gabrielle was amazing with the kids and I learnt so much about the early history of the Wanneroo area that I didn't know and I grew up in the area. They taught it in such a good way that the kids understood and got to do a bit of a re-enactment. They are open Sunday afternoons to the public, I highly recommend a visit!
