The Bunbury Farmers Market is a bustling hub of activity, offering an extensive variety of fresh produce and artisanal goods. From fruits and vegetables to cheese, meat, preserves, ready-made meals and more, the market provides high-quality local products at a slightly higher cost. The venue also caters to gluten-free diets. Conveniently located on the way to the south west or back to the city, there are parking facilities along with toilets halfway through the shopping area.
Wow definitely the freshest fruits and veggies! The white peaches were the best I had so far in 2 years. Cherries were reasonably priced and delicious and fresh. All the aisles are so neatly organized that it is a view for the eyes ๐ Definitely would go again if passing by.

Best market in Bunbury! Have everything you needed! For my next trip to Margaret River, I will not have to pack any food, as you can buy everything here. Some of their pre-packaged food is absolutely genius!
Fruits and vegetables were very fresh too, and i loved that they had a bakery section too! Highly recommend that you drop in here before driving south to Margaret River ๐

Great place to stop on your way to the south west or on your way back to the city.
There are toilets half way through the shop.
There is parking and overflow parking
There is also a bakery/cafe at the front.we didn't stop there, the line was very long, good indication it's a great stop.

I've never been so excited to go grocery shopping before. Bunbury Farmers Market is one of the most beautiful and well organised markets - everything was abundantly stocked and arranged so neatly. Fruits and veggies were super fresh and their meat and cheese sections offered us a plethora of choices to choose from.
Shopping here kinda felt like I was visiting at a museum or art gallery. So many interesting food ideas popped into our heads and we were so excited for our next few meals. What an amazing experience indeed!

Pretty average. Nice range of groceries - they sell everything you can imagine food wise and cater somewhat for people with allergies. I didnโt feel it was really a โfarmersโ market. Everything you would find at the big shops and the prices to match. The fruit and veg section was impressive, but the prices were not.
So many people, that was the worst part. It very, very, VERY overcrowded from the car park to the checkout. Would not recommend.

Visited the farmers market in Bunbury and was thoroughly impressed. The market is expansive, offering a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables that are clearly top-quality. Additionally, thereโs an excellent selection of condiments to elevate any meal. I was also pleased to find fresh milk available. A must visit place in your way down south. One of the best, if not the best farmer markets in Western Australia. So much to choose from. From fruits and vegetables to prepared food and ready to eat meals. There is a very big emphasis on locally grown and produced food. There is plenty of parking despite it looking crowed when you first drive in. Your wallet and credit card might not fare too well. But you won't be disappointed by the choices and selection.

Koombana Bay is a highly sought-after coastal destination that boasts a vast expanse of sandy beach, translucent azure waters, and an expansive park with recreational facilities. It's widely regarded as one of Bunbury's most notable developments, and visitors are treated to breathtaking views of dolphins frolicking in the bay. This was pretty upsetting. Just nothing to do- moreover a waste of time and money. My Family and I came here a couple of years back, it was exciting and a lot of activities were in place for us to take part in. When we came today, everything just felt so dry and upsetting with everything being more fenced off and the animals being moreover inactive and distanced. Even though we canโt control how the animals react, or behave it just doesnโt feel right how they are so bored. The only things keeping me entertained were the caged birds at the front that were eating the feed.

Always the best place to visit for birds and other animals. Habitats are designed carefully for the birds and animals, very impressive.
Rosa Tu โ Google review
DON'T SUPPORT THIS! The animals live under horrendous conditions! We were shocked!
The birds all looked very tired and there's not enough space for the amount of birds. The spouts had cracks from climbing on the walls to get food from the visitors.
In general, all animals were trained to come closer to the visitors to get food and looked very thin and weak.
The kangoroos had infections you could clearly see but the workers seemingly ignored it. Their fur didn't look healthy at all and they moved around really slowly in their small compound.
The wombat looked half dead with short breaths, so not even like it was sleeping. It didn't move at all.
The reptiles had way too small cages and the plants inside them were fake. The turtle only had a small pond, the water seemingly dirty and hot.
The dingos and wallabies seemed extremely weak and exhausted, their compounds way too small. The only toys for the dingos were three plastic things.
If you care about the animals, don't come here. Visit real wildlife parks.

This was perfect stop over for us on our way back to Perth from Augusta. We had a nice walk around the park, fed some of the animals we were permitted to, and one of the staff was even kind enough to tell us more about the reptiles. After, we enjoyed some ice cream before heading home. This is a good family-friendly place and wheelchair friendly.

You can not call this place a โwildlife parkโ. Most of the animals had wounds (fur, spout, neck, etc.) and the compounds were way too small. If you like animals, you should really care about them staying wild.
The Marlston Hill Lookout is a vantage point that was constructed to commemorate Australia's bicentennial anniversary. It provides stunning panoramic views of the city and its bay, including Koombana Beach/Bay, Jetty Road, Lighthouse and the CBD. Visitors can easily ascend to this lookout which offers only four parking bays nearby and an additional couple further along the road.
The prime spot offers breathtaking views of the entire city, from Koombana Beach and Bay to Jetty Road, the Lighthouse, and the CBD. It goes without saying that sunrise and sunset are ideal times to visit. With the exception of the graffiti, it was a solid four stars. In any case, I'm crossing my fingers that the city will get to it soon and clean it up.

Absolutely no parking. My husband ordered a fillet Mignon and what he got wasn't that. Very average and tough. I have dietary problems and had to change 1 thing in my order which they stuffed up and had to take it back after the girl that took the order was the one that messed up. Our orange juice wasn't cold at all. Food was over priced. Won't be going back .

Nice nice place for the sunset
Beer cool. Cooper's 9 bucks a pint
Food very average mostly stuff that is not worth what u pay for a deep fryer. I would think the chef is a lovely person who pro ably knows they can do a lot better....
Staff superb.
Lovely people to chat with as well. Chilled.

I have never left a negative review in my life, until now. I took my hubby to lunch at The Hollow Beach Bar in Bunbury for his birthday yesterday and can definitely say that it was the worst meal I have ever been served. I ordered the Goldband Snapper with braised leek, fennel, citrus and rocket salad and hubby ordered the Scotch Fillet steak with added Garlic Prawns. My meal was delivered first and as the waitress placed it on the table our thoughts were that this is the worst smelling fish I have ever been served. We eat out quite regularly, with seafood often being my go to dish. Fresh seafood should not have a strong fishy smell. Smell aside I tasted the fish and it definitely didnโt taste any better than it smelt. It tasted off. I didnโt want to risk getting food poisoning from bad fish so I ate a little of the braised leek and fennel and citrus salad. The braised leek and fennel was very bland and salad was very mediocre consisting of a handful of rocket, 1 1/2 cherry tomatoes and a couple of small pieces of grapefruit. Hubby's steak although edible was not of great quality, the garlic prawn sauce was flavourless, he said it tasted like warm cream just poured over the steak, no garlic flavour at all. I should have taken my meal back and asked for a refund but not wanting to cause a fuss I left my meal on the table barely touched. I was very disappointed for my hubby as his birthday lunch was not what we would have expected especially for the price ($100 for two meals + drinks) I suggest you save your money and go to one of the many other great venues in Bunbury. We definitely will not be back!

Great views over the ocean in the front alfresco area. For the colder winter days, sit inside and keep warm in front of the fire. Good range of beers, wine and cocktails.
Food service is good with a normal range of pub fair.

The Hollow Beach is situated across the road from beautiful Bunbury coastline. There is plenty of room inside and there is an outdoor dining area with spectacular views of the ocean. The staff are very polite and friendly and there is a limited waiting time for your meals. I ordered the fish and chips and you certainly got your money's worth plus it was delicious. The atmosphere was very jovial and relaxing. You could tell by how many people were in having lunch that this is a popular place to eat. Highly recommend to anyone.

Superb location for some good food and beer before you take a stroll along the beach located just infront of the cafe.
We ordered a Fish n Chip and 1 Pizza (kids meal). The portion is huge for us Asians, so for Asians who come here you can consider sharing a dish! The food is fantastic!
One of the staff is extremely helpful and kept checking on us on how the food is. Superb service.
Plenty of space to dine in, and the atmosphere is really good.

I've eaten here a few times. Food is fabulous. Great atmosphere, though can be a bit noisy on certain days or at certain times. Amazing ocean views from front room. Service is actually really good. Problem is, they've got a new system where staff are forbidden from handing out physical menus or accepting payment for meals at counter. If you want to eat you are forced to log in using QR code to order from a virtual menu and pay online. Awful menu layout online. Cheeky buggers even charge an extra service fee for this lack of service! Not the staff's fault, but management are obviously more focused on collecting data for marketing and cutting back on staff taking orders. Stupid system. Won't return in a hurry. Hello, Back Beach Cafe!!

I have to say itโs over rated. Went there hoping itโs better as per the reviews. Kids cheese burger was really good but sea food platter was not that good. Didnt taste like seafood but rather something fried full of oil. Pumpkin with fetta cheese was something different and so nice!

Pub grub, great proximity to beach, not all seating area has a nice view of the beach the alfresco is unfortunately designed quite heavy and dark but if you get a seat near the edge it is nice. Screaming for a renovation could be spectacular!
Has a real local pub vibe a bit run down, but making a nice effort to cater to broader market and decent meals, ok pricing, decent quality and quick turnaround from kitchen. A friendly relaxed atmosphere. Staff service and and clearing/cleaning was a bit hit and miss on our visit.
We stopped on our way through whilst traveling and not locals, but It seems do be doing the important things right as was relatively busy for a weekday arvo.
Wyalup-Rocky Point is a popular tourist destination known for its unique rock formations formed by ancient lava, making the shoreline an interesting sightseeing spot. The area also boasts of landscaped picnic areas that add to the charm of the place. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking views over the ocean and take leisurely walks during both morning and afternoon hours. The sunset view is particularly stunning, making it a perfect place for nature enthusiasts.
The setting is very picturesque, and there are a lot of things to see along the beach if you walk along it. This is a fantastic location for science enthusiasts, as the formations are quite remarkable.

Bit uneven beneath the water but nice temperature. Sand is compact and won't blow in your face too easy. Carpark is too small. Paragliders come over in the wind. There's miles of empty space with nobody on it to the south. Sun is warm so bring a beach umbrella. Carpark is too small but there's more up the street if you don't mind walking.

The nudist section of the beach was short, but clean. I don't think I saw any rubbish down there. Signs marking permitted area were a bit low to the ground. Starts approx 150 m south of wooden viewing platform ( far enough away). No toilets on-site, head north towards Back beach.

Fantastic quiet beach. As far as Australian beaches go it isn't perfect but no surf, but is an amazing beach none the less.
No litter, a quiet beach. Very few waves so no surfing. No sand break but an easy beach to swim at; no rocks in the water just sand.
FYI there is apparently a nudist beach just to the south of this photo.

Great little outing for the family. The rides are cheap & the addition of the little canteen for a drink & a sausage sizzle works a treat for the littlies.
The trains are brilliant with all of them being hand made (so far as I am aware) by those that drive them. Covering both steam, diesel & diesel-electric locomotives they include many decades of locomotive history.. Don't get the club members talking as they are very friendly & passionate about their locos & your ear may get talked off.
The grounds could do with a better playground & the addition of a coffee truck/van certainly wouldn't hurt. Buy both of these are minor considerations.
All in all, a good way to waste an hour or two with the family.

A great way to spend some quality time together on the third Sunday of the month if you have youngsters or grandchildren. Our grandson is train mad and was mesmerised by them. There's a variety of real miniature (7.25inch guage) steam trains on the go to ride on. $3 a ticket for a couple of laps of the park and under 2's free. Just closed in shoes required. There are refreshments available and usually a great sausage sizzle manned by a particularly nice Tronnox employee ๐ . Well worth a visit

Disgusting Christmas Lunch for 2022.
Booked in for 1pm - Only group to arrive, upon arriving to a disgusting looking buffet that looked as though a heard of cows had destroyed it.
Blow flies all over antipasto table, which we bought to staffs attention the reply was โitโs a buffet what do you want us to do about itโ
Then to see all the desserts already gone & nothing was being replenished.
Trying to find a staff member was quite challenging.
As they didnโt seem to want to know or care about clearing the table or answering questions to be honest.
One thing that was replenished was some meringues with cream dolloped on them.
No ham or salads or meats were replenished, but as weโve bought this to their attention via email with actual photos time stamped they really donโt seem to give 2 craps if Iโm honest.
Also we paid $2000 for this absolutely disgusting event.
Also we knew no more food was coming out as your chef was out wandering around talking.
Donโt ever waste your money or time at this retirement village.
Awful ๐คฎ and awful customer service to deal with a complaint.
