Meelup Beach, located in a National Park, offers a variety of water activities such as swimming, paddle boarding and kayak rentals. Additionally, the beach provides BBQ facilities and clear waters ideal for snorkeling along the rocks on the left side. Life savers patrol during summer season making it safe for visitors. The beach is surrounded by trees and lawns with walking trails but does not allow dogs. Meelup Beach is bustling with activity and worth visiting due to its natural beauty and available amenities.
An amazing beach. We go here time and time again. It is in a National Park surrounded by trees and lawns. It is patrolled by life savers during the summer season. On beautiful days the water is so clear. Great snorkeling along the rocks to the left. Has BBQ and toilet/shower facilities. You can hire paddle boards, kayaks, body and surf boards, chairs etc. Plenty of animals around including Ospreys. Very popular beach and worth spending time at.

Meelup Beach .Nice and clean beach, lots of parking space that day as it’s Australia 🇦🇺 Day we decided to come just to spend the day . Not much of people swimming around and there’s a jet ski and paddle boarding to hire .
We bring some food to eat while we enjoy the beach 🏖

This is such an amazingly beautiful beach. Calm, with crystal clear water and white sandy beach. There is plenty of shaded lawn to test under.
There are toilets and during busy periods it is patrolled. There is also an icecream van.

It's not often you find a beach that's an easy access from the main road, that has a range of facilities at such a pristine location. Other reviews have much better descriptions and photos - this is such a great spot for families with children to spend a day out when the weather is good.

What a spot almost hidden among the beautiful windy roads. Place to barbecue and ample space on the beach. The water is magical in temperature and colour. The sea is calm and great for taking kids that wanna splash or even snorkel. Highly reccomended
The Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse is a renowned destination in the Southern coast of Western Australia, providing breathtaking panoramic views from its accessible balcony. It is a popular spot to witness the stunning sunset, with the sky turning into beautiful hues of pink and orange every evening. The lighthouse offers two options for visitors - a self-walk around by paying $5 or book for a guided tour at $15. Additionally, it serves as an excellent location to observe southern whales during their migration season.
Great experience. First of all take a half-day time to visit. You have to purchase ticket to enter.
A bit long walk from entrance to light house.
Just outside the entrance don’t miss the waiting place to take some beautiful photos, a boat is there.
Guide was no nice and friendly, love to hear from her. Sorry, I have forgot her name.
It’s bit tricky to go up with infant but amazing.
On the left of the entrance take the path to walk towards the whale watching bay but a long walk , so better prepare ahead. No entry fees on that.
Don’t miss the end loop of the car park towards the end, stop by and enjoy the view.
Have fun.

We really enjoyed seeing the lighthouse and the surrounding view. The are it's maintained quite well.
We were a little shocked you need to pay to walk up to the lighthouse, a $5 entry fee and it is closing at 3pm, due to covid. I have never had to pay to look at the outside of a lighthouse before.
As we had driven there and it was a bit of a drive we paid, spent a few mins walking around, enjoying the sights and left.
The area is well maintained, so at least entry fee is put to use. The viewing platform is massive and the view is quite extensive!
Well worth visiting, just be aware there is a fee and they are closing early at the moment. 4 stars due to the fee.

Unfortunately, it was a rainy and windy but wonderful piece of Australian history! It's definitely worth visiting! For $5, you get to walk around the lighthouse and enjoy the views, or for $15, you get a tour of about 20 minutes. Lots of parking. Clean toilets. Souvenir shop with nice goodies. There is a cafe but it was unfortunately closed, when we were there.

A truly stunning view from the lighthouse. A great starting point to get on the Cape Naturaliste Track.

We actually did a tour of the lighthouse. We have never been inside the lighthouse before and was good to know the details and history of how the lighthouse operated. Our tour guide was exceptional. He was knowledgeable not only about the lighthouse and its history but also the surrounding area. He was so helpful and took photos of us as well as answered all our questions. Tip, if you visit the caves first you can purchase a discounted ticket for the lighthouse tour at the caves reception.

The lighthouse is well worth visiting.
There is an entry fee and you can pay extra for a tour and access to the lighthouse.
The board walk allows for lots of angles of the expansive views. Though it may be windy!
There was a Cafe but it wasn't open at the time.
The shop has standard tourist items and some extra things from local suppliers.
Very happy that we made the scenic trek out here.

When we hear the word light house , an image of a huge tall cylindrical pole building with rotating lights at the top comes to our mind.
But this light house is a bit different. It's small and really cute.
Situated inside the heritage cottage the light house stands at the tip of the cape with a platform extending towards the sea.
There are two options for touring for which tickets must be taken at the entrance
1) Heritage pass
Only going through cottage, cafe, visit light house (no entry inside) and viewing platform
Adult :$5
Senior : $4
Child (4-16years) : free
2)There is a guided light house tour( can enter inside)
Adult :$16
Senior : $14
Child (4-16years) :$8
The view platform is really a beautiful place to be at. If you are in the right season then you might be lucky enough to see the whales passing by from the platform.
There is a cafe inside the cottage premises.
Must visit place. Really wonderful.
Parking slots are available at the front of the entrance. I would recommend the opening hours before planning a visit because it keeps changing and might be closed during some days like festive seasons ☺️

One of the two beautiful lighthouses on the Southern coast of Western Australia. This is well worth a visit. You can pay a small $5 fee and walk around yourself or book and pay $15 for a guided tour.
This is also a fantastic place to view the Southern Whale migration that comes past close to the lighthouse
I spotted a whale here today

Amazing gift shop better then cave
Good clean toilets
Cafe wasn't open
Good parking
Great entry price with all of money going back into the up keep of land and buildings.
Well, it's worth a see, but I definitely recommend the tour's were you get the best views.

The Cape naturalist lighthouse tour is well worth doing. The tour guides a very well educated on the history of the lighthouse and surrounding areas. They keep the size of the tours to a minimum so you feel fully included in the tour. The view from the top of the lighthouse is magnificent of the Indian Ocean and surrounds. The lighthouse is only 19 metres high but is 100 m above sea level meaning the height from sea level is around 119 metres high.
Plenty of parking available. You can by tix there or online for a gaurenteed time slot that suits you rather than turning up and possibly having to wait longer for next available tour.

Towards the top of a little hill is the lighthouse. Gather all of your belongings and get ready for a quick stroll. An attractive observation deck extends behind the lighthouse. Not only is there a price to enter the area, but there's also an extra charge to climb the lighthouse. The public restrooms may use some cleaning, but overall the area is well-maintained.

Loved the experience. There's two tours you can take. I highly recommend taking the one that shows you inside the lighthouse. Beautiful scenery! If you're there at the right time you can even spot whales. Affordable prices for the tickets. You can get souvenirs and coins here for those who collect.

Great place to explore. Didn’t do the tour as have done one at another lighthouse. Staff were friendly Weather was dramatic but only a few drops of rain. Lookout area was spectacular. Hold your hats though!
Walked a few of the trails and heard seals so had to investigate. They were out on the rocks quite noisy. Fun to see. Well maintained walking tracks signs could do with updating.

Highly recommend booking online for the lighthouse tour during the school holidays. We missed out as most tours were booked out when we arrived at noon. Instead, we were told there were plenty of whales sighted along the coast and we might catch a glimpse along the whale lookout trail. This trail was a 40 min walk and we clocked up about 10,000 steps. Easy walk and sandy in some parts. When we caught sight of the coastline, we saw plenty of whales migrating South. What a memorable day.

Great insight into the history and operation of the lighthouse. Amazing to be able to walk in the steps of the original keepers as we made our way up to the top. Their work practices explained by the very knowledgeable tour guide.
Eagle Bay Brewing Co is a restaurant with stunning surroundings and a beautiful view. The staff are attentive and friendly, and the food is cooked to perfection. They offer a variety of menu items that are worth trying out. Although some may find the staff uniforms not fitting for the ambiance, it would be great to see them more identifiably uniformed in order to stand out from customers.
We have attended Eagle Bay Brewing Co for the second time in two years to celebrate a family members birthday. We returned due to the warm staff and great all round ambience of the place. Today was no different, we were welcomed with a Happy Birthday to the group member who was celebrating his birthday. In terms of our food and drinks, of course the beers are great however we also enjoyed a couple of glasses of bubbles blanc (Prosecco). These went down a bit too easily on a warm day with the fruity flavour being too good to resist. To start we enjoyed the olives and some wood fried Yallingup bread - absolutely delicious. We loved the maple salmon (the dressing on the salad is so tasty) and loved that when one group member requested for grilled fish and a larger serving of salad over chips, the staff were very accommodating to our requests (which is refreshing as most places are not). All staff were attentive and friendly although also being incredibly busy for a Saturday lunch shift. The seated service is a lot better than the alternative offered at some other places down here. We will definitely return as this place is now a family favourite.

Make sure to book a table! The venue was super busy but well organised. Food was delicious! I was tempted to order the beef burger but managed to get pork belly instead! Stopped by for lunch before our drive back to Perth. Love the open concept, lots of natural bright light and fresh sw air, and we were lucky to get a table inside as the wind really started to pick up after we sat down. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, it’s pub style ordering at the counter but the food is delivered to the table. They don’t have cider so I decided to get the classic beer paddle which was a great decision, there wasn’t really a beer I didn’t like on there but my favourites ware the cocao stout and the kolsch and my least were the pale ale and the IPL - still very drinkable though but more on the bitter side than we were expecting. I ordered the lamb shoulder, and the meat was so tender and well seasoned, I was a little surprised the spiced eggplant was chilled like a relish as it made the overall dish a bit cold. The portion size was very decent for the price, there was a lot of lamb and I was stuffed by the end I couldn’t finish the roasted spuds. Hubs said the burger was the best he had on our trip but the chips were really ordinary.
The best part is I was saying to my hubby wouldn’t it be great they sold a mixed case of their beer - well they do! You can make your own mixed beer cube in the shop by the entrance, we chose the kolsch, wheatbelt lager, XPA (those bright passion fruit & pineapple flavours are so refreshing) and of course the cocao stout.

What can I say. This place is just amazing. I can easily spend half a day with my kid running around the lawn infront of the dining area while I have a pint of beer.
Good and reasonable variety on the kids menu as well as the pizzas and beers.
Bought over by the relaxing atmosphere the restuarant had created. The weather made the experience all the more amazing.
Do yourself a favour if you are around the area, visit them and enjoy yourself.

I've recently revisited Eagle bay brewing Co after 2 years from my previous visit & unfortunately this time I was very disappointed. You walk in to be presented with a sign stating wait here to be seated. Plenty of staff around even looking over but no one coming to seat the people including myself to be seated.
Finally someone comes over asking if I've got a reservation. Just myself and I'll be in and out within 30 mins. Finally they find me a table suitable for 6 people.
Anyway I order my food and drink straight away as I had time to look at the menu whilst waiting to be seated.
Nearly 40 mins later the food arrives.
No sorry, nothing.
Now the venue was not busy at all the time of my visit, there were what seemed to be plenty of staff behind the bar and walking around free and not doing anything.
Service was terrible. Food was average.
Scenery and views were amazing.

After 6km walk around Cape Naturalist, this was our reward. Fabulous. Lovely atmosphere with views across the valley. Great selection of food - plenty of gluten free options- and the beers are delicious. I recommend the Tasting Paddle. Very busy - you might need to book. Good play spots if you are with children.

Pleasant large place. The food is pretty good. We had a Garden Salad with pear and Tandoori Chicken pizza (original, a bit of a clash of cultures). You have to order via a QR code (not easy if you don’t have local cell service) and you are served your food. Good choice of beer. The fries (chips) are excellent, served with garlic mayonnaise.

We really enjoyed lunch. Staff attentive. Pizzas were fab. Grounds were fab. Very relaxing and would definitely try again to sample other menu items. Only downside was the uniforms - being old school I thought the staff outfits didn't fit the ambience. It would have been nice to see the staff looking more 'uniform' and easier to identify. Being in black jumpers and mis matching shorts/jeans they blended in with the customers too much.

We ordered Fish and chips, pork belly, Beers. We searched Google and read reviews about Best Fish and chips. Ambience was very good, however was disappointed that the fish and chip was average quality and no flavour. I different experience and opinion. Portion was a little smaller. Beer and pork belly was good. The fish was hard and not fresh. Driving about 2.5 hours from Perth to eat best fish and chips at Eagle Bay but was disappointed. There were too much of house flies which interrupted our outdoor lunch. Hope management improves the above. The fish and chip was pricy.

Visited during the Father’s Day Sunday and the place was packed even at 2:30pm. We had no reservations since we came here as tourists but we still managed to get a table albeit in a far corner at a private room. Food came a bit longer as expected. Ordered the pork belly, barramundi, kids fish and chips and kids pasta. Of course including the core beer sampler. Food is great and the service is friendly despite the full crowd. Better to make reservations for good seats!

Cool spot, very basic menu compared to other SW breweries but what we had was excellent. Top range of brews but no cider available, staff were friendly but the place lacked any real atmosphere. Enjoyed the experience, plenty of better spots around though.

Despite the pleasant ambiance, the service seemed unprepared for the public holiday crowd, resulting in a wait for a table despite several being available. Nonetheless, the quality of the beer was commendable, and the food was exceptional, ultimately leading to an enjoyable experience.

Had a great morning with our 2 and 4 year old girls. They loved feeding the rabbits, Guinea pigs and other animals. A ride on the carousel(runs on the hour every hour from 11am) followed by a cruise under the shade of the lakeside Peppermint trees on the paddle boats was just what we needed on such a hot day. Some fun on the bumper cars for both the kids and us and then into the huge indoor play centre(take socks with you or $3 a pair to purchase). While the kids were burning off their energy, I enjoyed the complimentary coffee(tea and water also available). Although it seems fairly expensive, this entry fee covers you for a bucket of food for the animals, carousel rides, bumper car rides, entry to the huge indoor play centre and paddle boat/canoe rides.

It's the first place we've been to where it has a few of animal farms, quite large indoor playground and boat rides. Our child enjoyed playground and feed animals. With $24/adult and $22/child, we got a small bucket of carrots for family, free ride (for boat, bumper cars, carousel) and free entry for playground. $2 for extra bucket of carrots. Staff were friendly.
Hope the management can maintain the breed of guinea pigs so that they won't be uncontrolled breeds, can offer more animals. It's a good place for you to visit if you are in the area, especially when weather is not that great but your kids still can enjoy the day as they have indoor playground.

Went with family of lots of kids aged two to twelve years.
Kids loved feeding the Guinea pigs and rabbits. A few of the rabbits were ok with being picked up.
It was a rainy day so a lot of time was spent in the indoor playground. Bigger than some dedicated play cafes!
Kids loved the dodgem cars and went on them twice.
If it were warmer we would have gone on the paddle boats and the carousel.
Well worth visiting. The kids had a blast.

Woeful experience, from rude inhospitable staff to poorly kept animals and outdated and unclean attractions.
This is an absolute tourist trap.
Bouncy castle is non existent as it’s not blown up.. indoor play area is filthy, outdoor play consist of a few faded garden plastic cubby’s… boats take on water, arcade is a filthy disgusting joke with half of the games no on or in operation.
Free bumper cars ends up being 6 minutes then stops and you need to pay for more time.
$120+ for entry to be berated within 5 mins as we had the audacity to want to utilise the boating ‘lake’ and the owner had to stop watching YouTube on the office computer.
The only people I would recommend visiting here would be the local health inspector and the RSPCA.

Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park is a coastal nature area that offers popular activities such as surfing, hiking, and picnicking. It boasts panoramic lookout points with beautiful coastline views and wildflowers during the spring season. However, some of the track signs have faded or fallen over, which could be frustrating for tourists who are unfamiliar with the area and may result in getting lost or taking the wrong path. It is advisable to take a photo of the big map sign before starting.

I have been going to this gallery for years.
Christian produces some amazing photographs and the images he has on display is just a small selection of all he has taken.
We have one of his images on our home and it's amazing.
Highly recommended you have a look.

My husband and I are big fans of your work and have a number of large framed prints throughout our house that we purchased from your Mandurah gallery when it was open. We were in Dunsborough celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and had planned on purchasing another picture for our collection. We came into the gallery on Thursday the 3rd of August in the morning and there were two women standing at the counter talking to each other. They didn't even acknowledge us as we walked in. No eye contact. No greeting. Just continued chatting. It was off-putting to say the least.
We had a look around and walked back downstairs and were still not acknowledged in anyway. We ended up walking out empty handed and disappointed. I would've thought some level of customer service was part of the gallery staff' roles but maybe not.

Magnificent photography, well presented and an interesting conversationalist.
Well worth a visit.

What an amazing experience!! This was an absolute pleasure attending on such a well set out gallery, well lit with two levels. The talent and ability to capture the raw beauty of the land in all it's glory wherever you stood, I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.

The restaurant is known for its warm and friendly service, accommodating dietary requirements, and providing a wonderful dining experience. Guests praise the delicious food, prompt and friendly service, and the overall value for money.
Excellent choice to take my Dad to celebrate his 80th birthday. Service and staff were very efficient & friendly. Food was EXCELLENT. Not a huge selection, but what was available was faultless. Very tasty and beautifully presented. We had the duck, fish of the day and Szechuan ribs. Pavlova for dessert.

15/12/23: second time we have been here and service is still second to none, as is the food & drink.
A lot of mmmmmm's as we each savoured our entrees, mains & dessert.
Thank you for catering to our dietary requirements, and making the dining experience a wonderful one. 💐

Relaxed fine dining at its best.
From the warm friendly welcome, to being seated at your table, to delicious wine, yummy food, lovely decor, gorgeous view(s) to great service.
Put this on your must-go-to-list. You won't be disappointed!
Took me 3 trips down here to get there and I am so very very glad I did.

Rating it as 4/5 stars for the entire experience. The food was lovely and the spices and herbs were paired perfectly with most of the foods. Definitely for a sophisticated pallet and nice views from the restaurant seating area. Overall quite good and happy but not our favourite restaurant, hence the four out of five. Still a great place and might be back in the future. Just not overwhelmingly dazzling. Noise in the restaurant should also be noted if you haven’t been before it was quite loud and bubbly atmosphere when we dined over a lunch sitting.

I had the best lunch today. Everything was SERIOUSLY GOOD!! Staff recommended duck dish but I personally don’t like duck so tried beef which was also good. Love the asian flavour in some dishes. The butterscotch pudding must try as well.

We've booked for 4 people and were seated at a corner table with the view of the vineyard. Food & drinks were excellent. The Balinese Roast Duck was delicious, and the steak was cooked to perfection. For desserts, the afogato was delicious, and the sticky pudding was served warm and so satisfying! The atmosphere was lively, and the waitress was friendly. Highly recommended and table booking is required if you want to have a meal there!

Went here for Lunch (Dine-in) during our Busselton trip. We had chips, prawn toast, pudding and 150ml red wine and white wine. (Totally $71). Didn't had to wait for a long time for the food. Friendly staff. Booking is preferred if it's a busy day.

Stopped for a quick lunch and it was so welcoming we stayed for three courses. Had the most superb Balinese duck curry, kids were welcomed. Beautifully decorated with a spectacular mural. Superb wine, Prosecco, Shiraz and reserve Chardonnay.

We had dinner here on Saturday night. Overall the place was decent. I tried the Balinese duck and the fish.
The fish was really nice, the duck was ok.
Atmosphere was a little dull and the older waitress kept rushing us into ordering, felt like they wanted us out of the place.
Sticky date pudding was delicious.

OMG! Four of us here for lunch.
I had the steak (medium rare) and the other 3 in our party had the fish of the day (snapper) and the food was divine!!
The steak melted in my mouth and 2 of the other 3 couldn’t finish their fish as the serving was so large.
They were happy to accommodate our dietary requirements, the service was prompt and friendly without being pushy and the prices are comparable to similar restaurants. If I wasn’t from the eastern states, I’d be back again next week🤣

Went recently for a late week lunch date and was wowed by the size portions the food was cooked to perfection.
The menu selection had plenty to choose from without being overwhelming great lunch specials on offer.
My pork crackling was crunchy and I wouldn’t share any ..
Husbands Angus Beef was cooked perfectly no complaints at all ..
We didn’t need anything for dinner that evening ..
Venue has a nice ambience indoors with lovely picturesque views outside.
Friendly staff very accomodating
My Affogato for dessert was one of the best I’ve experienced served with a fortified merlot for something different.
Highly recommend this restaurant

Dunsborough Beach, surrounded by lush greenery and rocks, boasts of a pristine white sandy shoreline. The calm and clear waters provide an ideal setting for swimming activities. This beach is perfect for families with young children as it never gets deep, ensuring their safety while they frolic in the water. It provides a serene atmosphere to relax and rejuvenate while enjoying the breathtaking views of the surroundings. The walkway along the beach offers a lovely stroll where one can spot some wildlife walking alongside them.
Best beach for new swimmers or for those who don't know swimming at all. It's shallow long where one can walk in the water for hours. Rental boats and stand-ups are available to enjoy.

A family friendly quiet beach, where you can relax, take in the gorgeous view, warm clear water and rejuvenate.
One pic is of some of the 'locals' you might see walking along the path to the beach. 😉

Amazing beach!!! The water was so clear you could see small fish swimming by. There was a sandbar close to the beach which was nice.
The beach does have a dog friendly zone.
Definately one of the best dog friendly beaches I have visited.

I have lived in Perth for 10 years and I am ashamed to say I have never been to Dunsborough, this is about to change. It is such an amazing place and the beach is one of the best in WA, it is fantastic if you have young children as it never gets deep.
I can not wait to return.

So easy to get to in Dunsborough! Great spot to realize where you are in the world or just to walk your dog. It is a gathering place, a meeting place, a place for children and oldsters, a place to celebrate and care for, a place to meet yourself against the ocean and watch the rivulets of time and tide.

These guys have the best coffee in town and their staff are always super friendly and polite. Sensational service. Sensational coffee. Sensational people.

Just arrived in Dunsborough and found this coffee spot in the back streets. Popular, but coffee came quickly and lovely spot to sit and relax. Coffee tasted good, what’s not to like - recommended.
Greg Clark — Google review
I'm obliged to come over here because my mum and her partner always raves about the coffee here, and you know what? The coffee is really good here. Contrary to the name, this place is actually not in Yallingup but tucked away from the main strip in Dunsborough at the back. It's a chill place with a fair bit of pastry options available.

Amaaaaazing coffee! Followed the locals to find the 'best coffee spot in town'... We were NOT disappointed! Real, quality in-house roasted coffee brewed and poured to perfection! It's all about the taste. From quality sustainably sourced coffee beans to the master roaster, into the hands of the barista. It's a total experience for the coffee connoisseur all in the tucked away location that is Yallingup Coffee Roasters.
If you're serious about good coffee, this is a must visit destination in the region. The range of blends and single origin is surprising. Check it out - you can order online too.
We enjoyed the Yallingup 4bean blend FW - rich full flavors, and took a few bags of beans home to try. Looking forward to trying single origin Congo.
My only suggestion would be to have another coffee available to purchase by the cup. The service was fantastic. Thanks Craig for showing us some of the intricacies involved in roasting.
We'll be back.

Lazy mid morning coffees at Yallingup Coffee with their on site roasted blend. The owner is a great guy and ready to chat. The Diedrich IR 24 sits proudly in the corner and two Linea's are the machines of choice. (There is a new one on the way) Simple, relaxed venue, and a must visit when in Dunsborough.
Marcus — Google review
Finding the place wasn't easy, Google Map sent me around in circles and then nearly missed the sign as it is covered a bit by a tree...it is close to the Visitor Centre..The house blend or Yallingup blend was excellent, from a medium roasted mix, with bold berry flavours and excellent crema. The service was excellent, everything I asked for... Returned a couple of times while in Dunsborough and always received great coffee and chatty, friendly service. Thank you, Jen and Kiara, for your smiles and care.
This is the place to come for yur coffee fix and take some beans with you , they have an amazing variety of Single Origins and Blends as well.

A smaller shopping development with only one supermarket and liquor store. So it's easy to get to the supermarket to do your weekly shopping. The huge pharmacy is also a plus.
I also like the numerous shelters provided for shaded car parking. 5 stars to centre management ✨️

Just out of Dunsborough you’ll find Designs by Voytek. Well worth the visit if you appreciate artwork made out out of metal. Voytek is very welcoming and willing to discuss his journey to where he is today. Take a look at the ‘Gallery’ on his website as much of his work is commissioned.
