I loved this mall to be honest and for the following reasons:
1- The mall is spacious, where you can find most of the brands.
2- Is well organized and clean.
3- The outdoor area has a nice view, especially the bridge is nicely decorated.
4- The food court has a lot of good and affordable restaurants.
5- Entrance and exit doors are very easy to find.
6- They have food kiosks in the outdoor area, and they look fantastic. I didn't have the chance to try them because I visited the mall during the daytime, so I definitely I will try them on my next visit.
7- They have parking sreas, and taxis are always ready at the door for your pickup.

Had a peaceful time, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Sunset was beautiful, the promenade had plenty of swings on which even adults can relax.... But as evening approaches, the place gets invaded by mosquitoes making it tough to spend time. The boating is expensive though. The promenade has a beautiful architectural tunnel which is an extra feather.

The mall offers a wide range of stores from clothing to electronics, making it a great one-stop-shop destination. The layout is spacious and easy to navigate, and the staff is friendly and helpful. There are also plenty of dining options for a quick snack or a sit-down meal. However, the parking can be a bit of a hassle during peak hours. Overall, the mall provides a pleasant shopping experience.

The mall is gorgeous 😍
Really spacious and has lake/lagoon view at the back for winter activities.
Choice of shops aren't too bad either, most of big brands are here. There's also Carrefour and Novo Cinema.
However, it's sad too see how quiet it is even though I came during the weekend. On one side it's nice coz I can browse the shops in peace but seeing the mall is almost empty breaks my heart.

I relished the ambience of the mall, the energetic vibe and my shopping experience at the retail stores. The highlight of my visit to Manar Mall was undeniably the exciting RAK Eats Market, As I meandered through the market my taste buds embarked on a delightful journey, my favourite was the delicious freshly made Luqaimat a kind of Arabic sweet dumpling similar to doughnuts. I departed with a fresh pair of glasses for mum and I from Lenskart Opticals, adding to the enjoyment of my outing. My Christmas shopping done all under one roof... some photos shared

For shopping and spenting time, Manar mall in rak is 100%recommendable.
Because all brands have their outlets in that mall and the all staffs are providing very good customer services. And mainly they keep each and every corner of the mall very neat and clean.
Food courts are also available. And in the matter of safety and security they are giving their maximum level. All the staffs are that much dedicated to their jobs.
And mainly upto me, i loved the outer side of the mall. The water body side, and the exterior, landscapes, foodstalls, lightings etc are awesome creation's.
Many Instagramable and photoshoot spots are there. And some of the day, they provide some musical show also.

The National Museum of Ras Al Khaimah is situated within a former fort and showcases archaeological and historical exhibits. It also features galleries for visitors to explore. The museum is an ideal location for geocaching, with Adventure Lab activities available. The tranquil atmosphere gives off good vibes, and visitors are welcomed with smiles upon arrival. Accessible parking spaces are available outside the museum, with an affordable entrance fee of AED5 per person.
Geocaching brought us here; Adventure Lab specifically.
Loved the place and the tranquil vibes. We were welcomed with smiles as well.
Toured the place on our own and had fun exploring as there were no other visitors when we got there in the afternoon. Weather was also nice to us so we really had a great time.
Would love to come back with my whole family.
Easy to locate and plenty of parking spaces outside. Entrance fee is AED5 which is very affordable and reasonable in my opinion.
Ground exhibits are accessible by wheelchair and pram, but definitely not the first floor and rooftop.
PS: The courtyard is my favorite.

Very nice museum that contains the history of the local area. It costs 5 AED to enter. It has information displayed in Arabic and English. You can go up into the watchtower and have a great view of the city from there. It is not very handicap accessible as the doorways are narrow, and I didn't see a lift to go up, or if ther is, the signage is not very clear.

I remember passing by this museum a long time ago, however yesterday was the first time that I had the time to visit it from the inside. The museum offers a look into Emirati life from the 90s and the sections of the homes with the various sections. Entry ticket is just 5 dirhams which is well worth it. There are a few sections cordoned off that are currently under maintenance which I plan to visit on a future trip to RAK.

The Dhayah Fort is a historic fortress constructed in the 1800s on top of preexisting ruins. It has a unique hill-shaped structure that provides scenic vistas of both the mountains and the sea. This castle serves as a popular tourist destination for individuals who are interested in exploring ancient architecture and learning about the region's rich history.
Dhayah Fort is the highest hilltop fort in the UAE. It’s a must visit whenever you are planning to visit Ras Al Khaimah. Away from the hustle & bustle of the tall buildings & city life, traffic, it’s a unique getaway as you get to see the old UAE, the UAE with its rich culture & heritage!!
- Avoid trekking during the peak times where sun is on the top.
- Keep some water handy, the stairs are less but high.
- You can try going for a sunrise view from the hilltop.
- The place is very clean & has a loo.

Well worth the visit, and the climb, to see this well maintained, and informative, site. Be careful of the directions Google maps gives as I ended up on a 4x4 track, which was quicker, but next time I will take the rather more suitable (for a hire car....sorry Hertz) tarmac road

This visit was done in August, which is the worst time you can ever go visit. (Had a lot of spare time and didn’t mind the sweat personally) Once arrived, literally their was no one but us.
I recommend going sometime around late December and up to February for a nice weather.
The trip is by stairs, if you’re athletic you wouldn’t break a sweat since it’s almost a short trip (probably 7-8 minutes from the gate non stop) Also, every couple of stairs you could stop for a break as there are some informative historical labels you can read.
Also I recommend going early in the morning as the sun will be behind the mountains, enabling you to capture nice photos of the palm trees and the sea. (I’ve visited before sunset by two hours, so I couldn’t get nice photos) unless you want to capture a nice sunset.
MUST READ IF YOU’RE DRIVING: google map will take you through a one way road that isn’t paved and filled with small rocks and may not be adequate for a sedan. ignore the hard right turn and continue straight for 300 meters where there another PAVED road leading to the fort.

Lovely place! Would be great to go when the weather settles a wee bit. It's like a small trek.. so wear comfortable shoes so you can climb up. If needed keep a bottle of water,so you can remain hydrated. Babies may get tired walking, so watch out for the weather. You cannot use a wheelchair/pram as there are just steep steps to climb the top. A nice experience!

Amazing experience. While I've been on a Pearl farm tour before, this brings the experience to a next level.
After taking the traditional boat to the Pearl farm, we get to understand and learn how pearl was reared, the 1% chance of finding a natural pearl or the 60% chance in cultured pearls, the history of the divers.
We get on to an actual boat used by the traditional divers, with their equipment and living quarters exhibited.
Then a showcase of the different pearls.

This was a very unique and thoroughly enjoyable experience. We were a family of four adults and took a day trip from Dubai (approx. 1.5 hours). We did the 12.30pm tour in February- so the weather was perfect! There is a small reception station (very clean with free tea and coffee) and you can purchase pearl items from here too. We took a small boat ride to a floating building where we were given the history of pearl farming and methods of modern day farming with a live demonstration of pearl extraction from an oyster. The boat ride was serene and amazing- with clean and comfortable seating. Free fresh fruits, Taliban, tea and water were available throughout the duration of the tour. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. Overall very happy with the whole tour experience and would most definitely recommend!

If you are visiting Rak this is a must do experience. Upon arriving at the pick up location we were welcomed and sat in a beautiful reception while we waited for the boat departure. Punctually we were escorted to the boat, which was large and very comfortable and we were swiftly on our way to the Pearl farm. After about 20 minutes, we arrived at what I could describe as a floating house. We were once again greeted by the staff, and the tour began. The gentleman conducting the tour was absolutely flawless, his character, demeanor and knowledge was perfectly fitted for the information that he shared with us. We learned so much about the history of Pearl fishing in the UAE, and how it led up to pearl farming. We were given a comprehensive breakdown of each and every step involved in Pearl farming, including the passion that still exist among the people behind this business. Throughout the experience, we felt sense of calmness in a deeper appreciation for nature, as we looked around, couldn’t help but feel how the entire surrounding was functioning as one. The calm sees the mangroves was a beautiful side. we got to see different types of pearls from natural ones and how they actually farm them. It is no easy task. We were served snacks and water throughout the time over there. it is worth mentioning that the team are all on the same page when it comes to sustainability and protecting the environment. We had a great time and we highly recommend visiting Al Suwaidi Pearl Farm.

Great place for families, especially for the kids. There are lots of activities and things to see here ! Would recommend anyone to do the pottery, I enjoyed doing this the most, and u choose from a wide variety of clay pots (as shown in the photos) & take it home as souvenirs, this whole pottery experience is just for 20 AED.

Amazing place to visit with kids, there are beautiful animals , well taken care, from small size as kitten and rabbits to goats amd to camel and giant ostrich and horses.there is a salt cave , some museum corners. You can climb and take a tour of the farm on a suspended corridor and have a breathtaking view of the mountains and a panoramic view of the farm. Was in a week end and we found some workshop activities for kids too . We bought fresh fruits and vegetables .We really loved to visit the place and we will come back with pleasure and recommend it to everyone.

As you walk in, there are monkeys in a small cage, there are too many birds in the cages, mainly chickens. There is a ostrich which looks sick and pulling out its feathers. The horse is super friendly and beautiful but needs to be fed more. The cow also didn't look too healthy. They also have domestic house cats in cages.
Honest opinion is that the animals in there should be saved.

An exquisite place to spend time with family. Huge range of animals from fish to all kind of birds.
Staff is really friendly and helpful
Trees and the way it designed is also very beautiful.
You can also do pottery and make utensils
And they have cottages on rent where you can spend the night with family
BBQ pit
Bonfire area and separate area for extra privacy
And the price is also affordable
They also have a Museum where they have many kind of exotic stuffed animals
Calm place, not crowded. You can see animals very closely with full safety.

Me n family spend good time at zoo. Entry fee is 40 AED for all above 03 years of age. There is a small grocery with chips, water bottles and ice creams only. A small toy shop as well. You can drive through(self drive) carts for a rent of 100AED for 40mins. You can have fun without cart as well, there is enough Clean sitting areas and shaded areas which you can njoy n watch animals closely.
Animals are taken care off. Very clean n tidy, animals cages are near to each other, so much walking is not required to see all the animals in the zoo.
Highlights -
1. Very frndly chimp with his trainer. You can take pictures for cash. (Reasonable price).
2. Crocodiles and alligators are on the other side of the zoo.
3. 🐎 Stable outside the parking area.
Cons- eventhough the zoo is clean there are flies which makes bit annoying all over the zoo.

We went there today. We were delighted by the petting Zoo at the entrance. The animal looked healthy and well taken care of. But as we walked along and looked at the wild cats, hyenas, etc. We noticed that they all had little pools inside the enclosures but there was no water in it. We looked around for containers with drinking water for the animals but couldn’t see any although they may be hidden out of sight. The animals looked listless and depressed. The enclosures are small and there was nothing to stimulate the animals. What started of as a lovely encounter with the animals ended in a broken heart.

Very small zoo and strongly recommended only during winter or late evening. No places for visitors to stay or rest with shadow or AC. Felt horrible to visit in the morning time too hot. Even animals were looks so tired. If you have visited Dubai / Al Ain zoos then you can ignore this place. We went for kids but due to hot couldn't enjoy.

Zoo is located about an hour journey from Dubai, you can easily locate it as it’s just by the road.
There is a entry fee of 40aed (applicable for adults and children), which is fairly priced. The Zoo is in a wide spread area, part of it is covered with sheets giving the visitors good shade and part of it is open. Electric cars are available for visitors to rent them and stroll around the zoo.
All animals are maintained well, they definitely looked like they are fed well and are taken care of in a good way.
Many species of animals are at the zoo. Tigers and Lions are maintained very well and find a lot of them here.
Avoid mid afternoon time for the visit, as the animals will be sleeping and you will not get a good look at it.
Overall good place to take your children and family, zoo gives a relaxing environment and worth the drive.

Khatt Springs Road is a thoroughfare on the outskirts of town which provides entry to both Khatt Fort and the Khatt Springs & Spa. The route leads towards these notable destinations, and serves as a passage for visitors and locals alike. This roadway offers access to two distinct landmarks that are situated in close proximity to one another, making it an important avenue for those seeking relaxation or historical exploration.
Saqr Park, a public outdoor area that was established in the 1990s, boasts an array of green spaces and recreational facilities such as playgrounds. Despite its aesthetic appeal, the park requires better maintenance and attention as its current condition is subpar. The authorities must address this issue promptly to ensure visitors can enjoy the park’s magnificent Mosque, which adds to its beauty. Admission fee for Saqr Park is reasonable at AED 5 per person or AED 20 per car.
One of the best park I have visited in the area..
It's a very nice place for family gatherings and BBQ parties..
BBQ areas, kids playing areas, Ablution area, Mosque, several Toilets ..etc.. are available and in good condition..
The only issue i didn't like was the light after sunset is very low, it needs to be replaced and rearranged properly ..

The park is empty seems deserted. However has a place for physical activity like skating and cycling etc. Great BBQ pits and in abundant. Children's play areas have old equipment need to be careful while they use that.

It's a lovely park for kids and lots of rides.
Need to purchase the card for 5Aed and can load the money 150 was enough for us to visit all attractions.
We visited the place during the 3 days national holidays so it was super crowded but they had ample of parking space!!
The place is well maintained and everything is worth the price.
Only drawback I found was there were very few street lights in the park so that makes the place looks dull hence 1 star less.
They need to have some good eatery places as that very limited.
But definitely a must visit place for families who wanna plan barbecue or spend a beautiful evening with friends and family.

Visited this park on a recommendation of a colleague. It gave the vibes of National Park in Sharjah but with added amenities. There are clean restrooms for ladies and gents which is very useful. Barbecue pits are also available which are large and you can compliment with your own barbecue stand. There are a number of carnival rides as well as a skate park.

Very nice place esp for BBQ
Entry fee 5 AED/person or 20 AED/car (whichever suits you).
Proper masjid is there with ease of access.
Washroom facilities were also very nice and easily accessible esp for the elderly.
BBQ facilities are far better compared to any other park in other states with good number of BbQ pits available. No need to rush even on weeks like we normally do for other parks to get proper bbq place.
Reasonable lighting facilities as well to enjoy time even after sunset.
Highly recommended.

it's a very large park that offers barbeque facilities, a playground, and restrooms, making it feel like an adventure park. The entry fee is 5 dirhams per person, while children under 5 can enter for free. If you have a car, you can park it inside the park for 20 dirhams, which includes the entry fee. However, please note that only cash is accepted to enter the park, as cards are not accepted.
