The 1.240-meter-high Jebel Hafeet overlooks the city of Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates. The mountain is popular for hikes and picnics and is home to endangered species, including red foxes, feral cats, and rock hyrax. A 12km-long paved road completes a completely lit loop to the Mercure Grand Jebel Hafeet hotel and coffeehouses at the summit.
Drive through many curves and deep sloped roads, and when you reach the top, you can even experience a very good view. This place will help you relax or cheer with your family & friends. Please note that it will be difficult to get parking on winter weekends. The road is well maintained, and you can see the emergency parking when you drive to the top.

Breathtaking scenery. Nice view at night time.
Best time to come at 4pm onwards. Only thing that is very unpleasant are the washrooms it is not well maintained, dirty and smells really awful.

Located in Al Ain.. Its a beautiful place to visit specifically if the weather is cool and breezy, you will enjoy the drive most.
It has stunning dessert and city view from the top.
-Best place for Instagram reels😂
-Scenic photography
- people can go for hiking and biking too
-We saw few hotels too at the top
-Must say it's a well maintained highway
-ideal for a day trip
- Limited cafe and washroom facilities
- We went in first week of Nov'23 ( washroom can be accessed from evening onwards, not sure the reason)

Went after Eid. Heavy traffic and so much crowd, no space to park cars. Very good roads and organized traffic rules. The top view is good and nice to watch. The restaurant is closed and no food is available on top. One side Oman and another aide Al Ain has excellent views. Lovely place to enjoy with family during holidays

Beautiful Mountain One with Rich Heritage Temperature was around 18-20 degrees on the Top. The road leading to the top was well maintained. Drive here with extreme caution since roads are uphill. This place gives you 360 view of Al Ain & nearby borders. Sceneries from the top are breathtaking and picturesque

The biggest attraction is the drive to the top. The road is winding an there are well maintained pit stops all along the way where you can stop to have great views of the valley below and the road. The views from the top are breathtaking and even in hot summer it is quite cool at the top

Amazing place for a family outing at evenings. Good drive nice roads. Recommended to go after 5 pm as restrooms are opened only after 6pm. The mountain top does not have any restaurants, the only place to eat is Pearl of Mountain cafe 5 mins away from the mountain top. It’s a cash only restaurant

Enjoyable drive from Abu Dhabi, however there is no shade at the top, so the tables are unusable, the bathrooms are closed so plan ahead. Views are decent, but obscured by the fencing. Kids play place is not covered so all the equipment is very hot and sun weathered.

What u can enjoy is the drive and the view all the way to the top of the hill. But be careful on holidays, it will be very busy and crowded. It will be better if they add any adventure games or something for adults.

Beautiful view of Al Ain and Oman from the top. The drive up was great and the view from top is mesmerising. We started around 4pm form Al Ain city and reached there in time to stretch our legs and enjoy the sunset. Stayed a bit longer to see the city lights.
The cafeteria (and restrooms) at the top is closed for renovation now. However there are stops on the way where there are restroom facilities, a restaurant and picnic-like rest areas.

The drive up is so refreshing! The wind is so fresh and crisp, the air cool to breathe and the view is just breathtaking. There are multiple car stops along the way where you can safely park your car and get down to take in the view. Multiple picnic tables are available also if you have brought your food along.

The weather is mesmerizing away from the city crowds at the top of Al Ain. From where we can see OMAN nearby night view is wonderful with the lights. 6-7 time we visited and have a wonderful memories together with family. 🤞🤫🤔
The Al Ain Zoo is the largest and most important zoo in UAE. It is home to 197 different species of animals, many of which are endangered. The zoo has a research facility that specializes in breeding and conservation programs for local endangered species. Some of the highlights of the zoo include viewing grazing Arabian oryx, big-horned Barbary sheep, rhinos, hippos, tigers and lions.
We visited this zoo on a Saturday morning and it was quiet at 10am. We got tickets for a family of four for around AED55+ with gov discount - very good deal indeed. We managed to see most of the animals like lion, tiger, leopard, giraffe, hippo and crocodile as mostly was out or under the shades as it was not too hot yet. I can imagine they will hide maybe later in the afternoon when it’s warmer. Overall, the zoo was very well run, clean and lots of space to walk for the kids. Took us almost 3 hours and would recommend especially for a family outing in the winter months.

It is a lovely Zoo. A truly interesting location to visit it is quite a unique place filled with many different experiences. It is a very nice Zoo to visit and I had went there many times as a Child and a couples times as I got older. I had many fun and enjoyable moments there. The Animals were in great condition and seemed healthy. As well as going to the Safari with a good guide who explained things about animals and the zoo itself. The bird show was very interesting and knowledgeable filled with many unique birds and how the birds were surrounding us and flew around us was amazing. Would highly recommend to go during the afternoon after 3 pm go with a bag packed with food and water.
The Penguin Exhibit was one of the best parts seeing them through a glass separating us from them and where they stayed was an area with glaciers of Ice and cold water with an extremely cold climate.
The exotic animal exhibit was nice as well it had Snakes, Reptiles and other such animals in a dark showing room with each animals being separated from the other in a different hold.
We managed to see most of the animals like lion, tiger, leopard, giraffe, hippo and crocodile as mostly was out or under the shades as it was not too hot yet. We had such a great time with the kids. There were lions, Dino, giraffes, endangered oryx, deer, gorilla, leopards and more. We enjoyed the safari which was just 40 mins.
The area is so big we unfortunately did run out of time to see the reptile section, furthermore we missed out on the Cheetah run and other experiences that had been cancelled. So it’s best to check ahead what is showing. And make sure to allocate a full day. Unless you hire the cart rides to navigate around the zoo.
The bird show of raptors, vultures and eagles was great except we wished the person presenting the show was more clear in speaking. We couldn’t understand her English at moments, which was the same with the safari tour guide. Food options inside are limited. It’s best to eat ahead before getting in as there are some food stalls outside. Overall a great experience. Thanks!

This place is huge. So bring comfortable shoes. You will walk a lot all day. They offer transport inside but maybe it could take you minutes and minutes for this service.
My son enjoyed the day a lot. But some animals were not even there.
We could not see any show. So we missed a bit of entrainment. But the facilities are good and well
preserved.

It was a nice experience to do safari from here. Not much expensive even. The guide with us was so supportive and was very helpful. I actually forgot her name. You should always try Safari, Rather than just going for the shows and cages. Clean and well maintained. It’s good to see everyone embracing the digital culture.
We bought the ticket online and it helped our entry very smooth without any delay. I will always suggest to get the tickets online. There was a big queue at the ticket counter for those who were trying to take the ticket from there. Keep this also in your plan along with Jebel Hafeet and it will be pretty good.

We recently visited this zoo, and it was an incredible experience! Tickets can be purchased online or at the entrance, which makes planning your visit easy.
The variety of animals they have is truly impressive, and it’s clear that the staff is dedicated to their well-being. The enclosures are spacious and impeccably maintained, ensuring a comfortable environment for the animals.
What truly makes this zoo stand out is its educational focus. Informative signs and engaging exhibits are scattered throughout, creating an enriching experience for both children and adults to learn about wildlife conservation.
There’s a wealth of entertaining activities, including the opportunity to feed Giraffes, enjoy Penguin feedings, and witness captivating bird shows. Additionally, the kids’ play area is a fantastic attraction. You’ll also find cafes and food stalls inside, making it convenient for refreshments.
Overall, our visit was a perfect blend of fun and education. Just be sure to plan your visit during pleasant weather to fully enjoy this remarkable zoo!

Visiting Al Ain Zoo Safari was an unforgettable and enriching experience for us. We had the pleasure of spending our day immersed in the wonders of the jungle safari, where the off-road land cruiser adventure brought us up close and personal with a variety of fascinating animals.
The process of booking our safari was smooth, having arranged it a day before our visit. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, we arrived at the zoo location an hour later than planned. To our delight, the staff at Al Ain Zoo Safari demonstrated exceptional professionalism and were incredibly accommodating.
The staff's helpful and friendly demeanor played a significant role in turning our slight delay into a seamless and enjoyable experience. Despite our tardiness, they efficiently managed to ensure that our visit remained nothing short of amazing. Their dedication to providing a positive encounter for visitors was evident throughout our time at the safari.
The jungle safari itself was a highlight of our visit. The off-road land cruiser adventure allowed us to witness animals in their natural habitat, creating an authentic and immersive experience. The diverse range of wildlife, coupled with the knowledgeable guides, enhanced our understanding and appreciation of the animal kingdom.
Al Ain Zoo Safari not only delivered on its promise of a thrilling adventure but also showcased a commitment to customer satisfaction. We left with a deep sense of gratitude for the accommodating staff and a newfound admiration for the incredible wildlife we encountered. Our day at Al Ain Zoo Safari was not just a visit; it was an exploration, an education, and a truly delightful experience that we would highly recommend to others.

Unforgettable Wildlife Adventure at Al Ain Zoo
Review:
Al Ain Zoo offers an enchanting experience for wildlife enthusiasts and families alike. From the moment you step through its gates, you're greeted with a diverse array of well-maintained enclosures housing a wide range of animals. It's the perfect destination for a day out with family and friends, promising both educational insights and the sheer pleasure of observing magnificent creatures in their natural habitats.
During my visit, I found myself thoroughly immersed in the fascinating world of wildlife, thanks to the zoo's informative exhibits and engaging presentations. From majestic big cats to playful primates, every corner of the zoo seemed to hold a new discovery, making it an enriching experience for visitors of all ages.
The environment within Al Ain Zoo is conducive to leisurely strolls and exploration, with ample opportunities for visitors to interact with the exhibits and learn more about the animals. The signage throughout the zoo is clear and descriptive, enhancing the overall experience and ensuring that guests can navigate the grounds with ease.
Moreover, the security personnel at Al Ain Zoo are incredibly helpful and accommodating, readily available to provide guidance and assistance to visitors as needed. Their presence adds an extra layer of comfort and safety, allowing guests to fully enjoy their time at the zoo without any concerns.
However, it's worth noting that some areas of the zoo may be restricted or under maintenance during certain periods, which can be disappointing for visitors hoping to explore every corner of the facility. Despite this minor inconvenience, Al Ain Zoo remains a fantastic destination for fun and enjoyment, offering a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
In conclusion, I highly recommend a visit to Al Ain Zoo for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the wonders of the natural world. It's a true gem in the UAE, providing countless opportunities for adventure, learning, and unforgettable memories. Don't miss out on the chance to experience the magic of Al Ain Zoo – it's an experience you won't soon forget!

Visited during Ramadan so the visiting hour was in the night. Managed to see some animals but it was pretty dark so couldn’t enjoy the real beauty. The bird show was very interesting and knowledgeable.I am pretty sure day time visit would be really overwhelming. So will plan a visit next time during day. The security team and all the people out there was really helpful and kind. Would be glade if they give free rides for old age people and people with determination. Some feeding to non harmful animals would be really good experience.

It's a beautiful zoo and it's very large. I love this zoo because it is not just a place to view animals as there's a research Centre. There are enough trees providing healthy and beautiful ambience to the zoo. It was a good exercise for me as I walked around the zoo. They have a good number of staff at strategic locations ready to help tourists with information. The zoo is clean. There are shops to buy snacks and drinks. There's shuttle service for people who would like to ride around. The zoo has very large car park. As at when I came here, it was possible to come here riding in any of these busses from town - 904,905,914,915.

Zoo is spread over a large area. I recommend taking the shuttle service if the weather is hot, as it is exhausting to walk in the heat although it can be expensive if there are more people. Some of the exhibits were closed or opening soon when we visited. The penguin experience was fun. We were able to feed them. Ms Noora , our guide took care of us and was very courteous. She even helped getting us around the park. The cheetah run was very short show. By the time you actually settle and watch the show it is over. Would be nice if they added more activities to it. The bird show is worth to watch. Got to know a lot of information about different kinds of birds.

This zoo is not worth for any hype, most of the cages are empty and 5-6km of walking all around to see the cages. Now weather becoming not favourable for walking. Buggy rides are available with extra charges. Personally, prefer walking, taking our own time seeing animals and taking photos will be more fun rather passing by in train or buggy rides. Place is clean and maintained properly. Restaurants and cafes are available.
Washroom in front of the entrance are not cleaned properly and tissues are not disposed when it was full, even though two staffs are there.

I have visited the zoo a few times. The routes are a bit complicated, and it is quite difficult to navigate, especially during the summer months. I would like to highlight the way the animal areas or cages are designed, as most of the animals seek shade and are always on the other side from the viewing deck. I would not recommend visiting the zoo during the summer. In terms of value for money, there are better options available in other emirates.

Seems it's going under revamp. Quite a lot of exhibits were coming soon and a few were not even there. The overall state of the facility looked as if it has not been maintained well since quite sometime. Missing signs, broken shades and general upkeep was lacking. Food options are also very limited and high priced. suggestion: book tickets online as its 28.5 for adults whereas on ticket counter the charge is 31.5 per adult + 3 aed extra charge for card payment. Overall I was visiting after 7 years and it definitely lacked the overall experience as it was 7 years ago. I loved this zoo then but I think it needs to be upgraded now. I hope they do. :).
Ankur Agarwal — Google review
The zoo was huge. You cannot go on walking to see all the animals as they're spread out all over the place. It would be best if you went with the "shuttle service". The shuttle service works like the hop-on hop-off ways. There are five stations, and each station in the zoo has an animal category/region. In addition to the zoo entrance ticket, the shuttle service can be obtained by buying the ticket, too.
In terms of the animal collections, the zoo has (almost) it all, and they've been well taken care of. Although it was the best time to visit (December is cold enough in Al Ain), we had an unfortunate situation seeing these animals in their "habitat" at noon, as it was probably their rest time.
Best of all, the entrance ticket is relatively cheap, friendly staff, a good restaurant, a big car park, and (definitely) the animals.

But all over it’s good place to having fun and enjoy after a whole weeks..

Very bad experience. Most of the places are under maintenance. Very few animals. The entry tickets are expensive in comparison to what the zoo has to offer. After entry, the shuttle service is very costly. Even after collecting expensive fee, the service offered is horrible. You have to wait for long time at each station. Most of the exhibits are empty. No shades for visitors. I don't understand why they had a structure along the walkway without a top for shade. Dubai safari park is far better. Al ain zoo is not even 10% of dubai safari Park. Wont be visiting in near future. My advice, there are better options than this zoo. Still want to visit, keep your expectations low.

There are a lot animals, the zoo is huge and it is hard to cover on foot, many animals are hard to see because we went there in the early afternoon and it was hot even in December. Although it was a cool experience, the lack of clear signs and maps of the zoo made it difficult to see every thing, however the staff were very nice and guided us whenever we ask them a question. The coolest animal for me was the white tiger where he came to us and made a tour in front of us before going to where he was.

TOO HOT TOO VISIT IN SUMMER, EVERYTHING IS REALLY DRY AND NOT WORTH THE WALK OR BIKE. We visited in summer 2023, the thermometer reaching some 47 degree celsius in August. Although parking and entrance is free, we would not recommend to do this: it is unbearably hot, not place to find shade, the palms and the oasis in general is rather dried up. We had expected more.

It's a UNESCO world heritage site. No entrance fees. It's better to come during winter season. We took a bicycle for 2 persons, it costs 60 aed for 1 hour. It's very peaceful place. They will give you a free map of this place , but it's useless.
Jayden Sherif — Google review
It is one of the biggest oases in Al Ain. Most of the plants were date palms. Entrance is free. However, buying a tour ticket may give you more knowledge about the oasis's history without making your body sweat for walking or cycling.

Alain Oasis a beautiful UNESCO heritage site in the middle of Alain city.
The place is so serene and when you walk few meters inside, the place completely disconnects the sound and buzzing of the city.
It has beautiful spread of palm trees, Mango trees and a beautifully laid out irrigation channel. There are birds singing everywhere. The place brings a magical calm and makes forget about the distractions.
The walk approximately takes an hour and half from one end to another. They even have cycles for rent near the gate if you are not very keen on strolling.
If you are a person who loves nature, you would really enjoy and appreciate the place.

This is a place outside Al Ain Oasis that has been beautifully decorated with flowers and lights. Someone told me it's flower festival. I will allow you to see how beautiful this place is from the photos I will upload. Alhoson was required for entrance when I visited. There are food trucks and Cafe just around the place for tourists and people who come here with their family and loved ones to take photos and relax here. I heard the flower festival will end at the end of March. I appreciate the level of creativity that was used here.

Good place to visit
The entry is free so no need to pay for any.
Peaceful place to roam and be in the nature. You see lots of dates cultivation and birds chirping around.
It’s recommended to visit this place around evening. Because it’s not that hot and very cool weather. There’s also a cafe inside it. It is little bit expensive but good food and coffee.
You can also rent a cycle or small vehicle if you do not like to walk.
Outside the oasis, you can see the park which is quiet big. There’s a playground for children as well. So you can bring your kids and have a good quality time with your family.

The place is beautiful. I liked the yellow date the best. I know that it wasn't ripe, but it was so good. I have a new love for dates. I would have loved to climb the tree, but my body said no.
Denise Goldsmith — Google review
Way nicer than we expected. Perfect for a 1 hour bike ride around the grounds in nature. Beautiful thick canopy for shade and nice weather in January. We rented 2 bicycles but they have e-scooters and 2 person quadcycles as well. There's not really a place to park the bikes and picnic if that's your plan but can have a nice ride then eat afterwards.

The sections with the palm trees are consecutive and they form nice walkings. There are the main streets that you can follow and enter in some section with the gate open. Visible all the falaj system, very interesting. some parts with the water and others no.

I have truly fallen in love with this place! I believe it reflects the core value of UAE where you can find the palm trees, traditional food, and lots of music and arts shows. Souq Al-Wahat has added a special vibes to this place where family and friends can meet to stroll around in a cheerful place as it is.
Eman M. Ghanem — Google review
Nice for a walk and seeing a different place. But it doesn't offer too much. We hired a quadro bike, it has a closed roof, so it feels closed. I felt walking would be a better choice. Or normal bicycles. There is a nice cafe in the middle. Food was good. Especially date cake and coffee.

Beautiful oasis. No entry fees. I recommend to plan ur visit during winter time. We took a bicycle for 2 persons to go around for 60 aed per hour rent. The area is quite big and easy to get lost. Get a bottle of water before u start ur journey as there is no place to buy water or a snack after u start walking around. I would definitely come back again in December or January.

Nestled amidst the UAE's desert landscape lies the captivating oasis city of Al Ain, a treasure trove of natural wonders and cultural heritage. My recent visit to Al Ain Oasis left me enchanted and invigorated, immersing me in a world where time seemed to stand still, and the beauty of nature unfolded at every turn.
Al Ain's rich history, evident in its UNESCO World Heritage Site designation, is a testament to its significance as a cradle of civilization in the region. As I wandered through the ancient forts and meandering pathways of the oasis, I felt a profound connection to the land and its storied past.
The city offers a myriad of experiences for every traveler. From tranquil walks amidst the lush greenery of the oasis to exhilarating adventures in the desert dunes, there is something to captivate the soul of every visitor. The vibrant souks beckon with their aromatic spices and exquisite handicrafts, while the towering peaks of Jebel Hafit promise breathtaking vistas and adrenaline-pumping activities.
Al Ain is not just a destination; it is a journey through time and culture, where every moment is filled with wonder and discovery. Whether you seek relaxation, inspiration, or adventure, Al Ain Oasis welcomes you with open arms, ready to unveil its secrets and leave an indelible mark on your heart.
Located in Al Ain, Green Mubazzarah Chalets offers natural hot springs and a playground. The resort is air conditioned and features a living room with satellite TV and a dining table. Adventurous guests can enjoy a 2 km walk to the adrenalin-packed Wadi Adventure.
One of the best places for a family gathering. Chalets are spacious with a BBQ pit and a small backyard. Affordable price. They charge 25 AED per person to enter the swimming pool. Services and the friendliness of the front desk staff could improve. Because of the rocky mountains it can be very hot during hot summer. Especially the wind. Winter is a good time to visit and enjoy a family holiday with friends.

Went camel riding with my long lost friend for 25 years. Both our families had lunch and did berbeque in the meadows. Wet our feet on the warm water.
Ah... What else man... This is one of the most fulfilling and satisfying place in the whole of middle East.
If you like to enjoy and if its your first time...never do the mistakes that I did... Never come in the evening... Please come in the day time if its winter...and then slowly let the time pass by while you immerse yourself in the surrounding nature and enjoy all the natural gifts this place has to offer.

Great place for a family staycation!
Green Mubazzarah Chalets was a perfect spot for our family staycation. The chalets are spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed, including barbecue facilities. The location is beautiful, surrounded by mountains and greenery. We also enjoyed relaxing by the near by pool(family, ladies & gents) and exploring the nearby area. Overall, it was a great getaway!

The place is well equipped with a decent size refrigerator/ microwave/washing machine/electric hob. In addition the chalet also has a BBQ pit which is outside the chalet but within the compound. It is advisable to get ready to grill items. Cleanliness is good and the rooms are spacious. Inspite of paying a good amount there is no free WiFi and the customers have to pay for it. This should have been a standard and must not be charged.

Our one-night stay at the Chalet in Al-Ain, UAE, on Saturday, 21st, was an absolute delight. This charming independent 2-bedroom villa, complete with a kitchen and 2 bathrooms, provided ample space for our entire family. The villa's spacious interior allowed us to relax comfortably, and the convenience of parking our car within the compound was a definite plus.
What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality demonstrated by the property manager, Mr. Ullas. His personal visit to our house to ensure our comfort showcased a level of service that exceeded our expectations. Additionally, the presence of a designated area for Barbecue added a delightful culinary experience to our stay.
Moreover, the presence of a nearby children's park became a haven of joy for our kids, allowing them to frolic and play to their heart's content. Overall, this Chalet in Al-Ain offers a perfect blend of convenience, serenity, and family-friendly amenities, making it an ideal destination for a memorable staycation in the UAE. We went to see Al Ain park. We didn't enter the hotel, so I can't write a review for it. However, I will definitely recommend the outside environment of the park to be the best experience I had at that time. It was a lovely place with small hills lighted around the park. Al Jahili Fort is a sprawling, well-preserved fort in the heart of Abu Dhabi that features galleries and exhibitions on Arabian culture. The fort was built in the early 19th century as a stronghold for members of the ruling Al Nahyan family, and it's now a popular tourist destination with an impressive collection of artifacts from throughout Arabia.
I really enjoyed my visit to Al Jahili Fort. The staff are super friendly and the Fort interesting to explore. The best part for me was the Mubarak Bin London exhibition. Al Jahili Fort, one of the largest forts in the United Arab Emirates, was built in the late 19th century by Sheikh Zayed bin Khalifa the First (r. 1855-1909), both as a symbol of power and as a royal summer residence. The original fort consisted of a square fortified enclosure and a distinctive four-storey circular tower.

This marks my first fort visit in Al Ain. The fort is breathtaking and simple at the same time. Tall structures with relatively minimalist observation. The fort has 4 important things to see - The Gardens, the Mosque, temporary exhibition, the old fort and the Mubarak Bin London exhibit before you exit. The temporary exhibition focuses on the restoration efforts and walks through an experience in the temperature controlled temporary exhibit. Pictures speak a 1000 wishes . Feel the history, go with a sense of adventure and see everything and relate to the thoughts of the place and the people that were there 300 years ago

Al Ain National Museum was established in 1969 under the guidance of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
Collections
The museum consists of two main sections:
The Ethnographic Section illustrates the life of people occupying the region during the pre-oil era. It highlights remarkable phases in the life of a typical citizen at that time such as birth, education, marriage, and working life. The section displays some old versions of the Holy Quran, manuscripts, women clothes and cosmetic materials.
The Archaeological Section exhibits the antiquities of the country's ancient ages in a chronological order beginning with the Stone Age, then the Bronze Age (The third and second Millennium BC), over the Hellenistic eras, and ending with the Islamic Ages. Discoveries of these various ages such as stone tools, ironware, bronze ware, in addition to pottery and arrow heads, are all displayed in this section. Moreover, this section highlights the modern developments and the cultural transition, which the country witnessed following the discovery of oil with all its socio-economic impacts.

Quaint little museum attached to a small fort. Lots of antiquities from the country on show. It's 3 AED per adult for a visit, maybe it should have been free. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is no taxi line. Getting a taxi means a walk to the nearest main road across a car park.
Experience the vibrant local culture at the renowned Al Ain Camel Market, where camels are traded for racing and breeding purposes. Visitors can witness livestock traders in action, particularly dealing with camels and goats, while also having the opportunity to take photos of these majestic creatures. However, it's advisable not to visit alone, especially for women, due to the bustling atmosphere and strong animal odors.
Nice places. Unique experience. Many local animals available to buy.

Ornamental market with goats, sheep and camels in Al Ain. Although often visited by tourists, original sales shops still take place here. Not entirely clean due to the system.
Although the staff are flown in from Afghanistan and Pakistan and live in shared rooms on site, everyone is very friendly and not at all intrusive.
Many pet food and vet shops complete the overall picture.
From my point of view, a clear recommendation.

Very cool to see the camel, the guys there will let you touch the camels , take photos and after they go ask some money. You can give 10dh, if you want, don’t need more .

Wonderful market. This is into camel, but close to it, there's bird, goat, sheep and cow market. I came here by 919 bus (909 is the same and you go close to a mall) and then less than 10 minutes walk. The place is surprisingly clean and tidy. I was the only tourist and all people were kind to me. The camels are into large cages but it is pretty free to go around.

If you don’t have a local id the security guy will ask you for a ticket fee - 31,50 dirhams, to drive into the area. You can only pay cash so be aware of it.

It is largest camel 'market' in the world. It trades all sorts of camels. Only after visiting this place I came to know that there different camels for different jobs. For example, the camel which is used for carrying loads is not the same as the one which produces a good leather. The one which gives good milk is different from the one which produces good hair.

Camel market in A l'Ain, you don't necessarily have to see it, everything is spacious and not exactly made for tourists ;) Many animals are also locked in narrow cages, not so nice in the heat. Only for traders.

The atmosphere of this place is quite interesting! I’ve read in reviews that if you are a woman it’s better to be careful. But you can see and film this market from the car! We could drive close to the camels and made some photoes and video. But I think camels are unhappy there :(

My family and I recently visited Al Ain Camel Market and had a wonderful time. The market itself was very interesting and we enjoyed learning about the operations of the market.
What made our visit particularly memorable was the kindness and hospitality shown to us by the Pakistani and Afghan men we met there. They were extremely friendly and helpful, offering to take pictures of us with the camels and explaining how the market operates. We truly appreciated their warmth and generosity.
Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to Al Ain Camel Market, not just for the fascinating market itself, but also for the opportunity to meet and interact with people from different cultures who are so welcoming and hospitable.

I take all my friends there! Many people do not know of the livestock market, feed stores, livestock products. By the entrance of the camel market is a nursery section with all kinds of plants, and water features. Just amazing out door market like a souq.

I loved the fact this place is genuine and not at all a tourist attraction. I was expecting something fake and dirty and turned to be a very good experience in a clean Dubai style clean place. Locals are not happy to see you there but tolerates that. Some approach you, take a picture and ask you 20 AED. 5 will be enough.

Al ain camel market is not at all a tourist spot. But for a travel enthusiast it will be a unique experience . You can see livestock traders, specifically of camels and goats, see and take photos of camels. But, going there alone especially for women is not a good idea. And the place has a strong odour of these animals.
Walking down the aisles you would also come across some pottery sellers and plant sellers.

The Al Ain Camel Market is not a tourist place, but it’s interesting to see how the locals trade the camels, goats and sheeps.
I visted the place with a local therefore it was a good experience, despite is not recommended to visit by your self as a tourist because sometimes could be overwhelming the pressure of the farmers, we don’t need to forget that they are working there.
The Qasr AlMuwaiji tourist attraction is a historical fort that has been home to the ruling Al Nahyan family for the past 100 years. It was also birthplace of HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
Extraordinary concept and architecture.
Plenty of open parking space with well maintained garden space.
Multiple EV charging station at the parking.
Separate parking for eco vehicles.
Well paved walkways.
12 feet plant walls.
Technology is used in an excellent way to educate the visitors.
Entry free.

So I had My Visit here , Eventhough the Site was beautifully Constructed with Modern Heritage Theme To it , It still wasnt that great since it lacks activities or things to look at .
Arabs Has a very enriched Cultured, and Many things could have been brought up in a Heritage place like this , example could include like they could have enlightened us with the music they used to hear , types of dresses they used to wear , Traditional Food that was popular at that time and even could be the more details of their social customs and their way of hospitality..
All this place has was screens to read of and Rooms to look at ,Nothing more interesting ...
Hopefully they make good use of this beautiful site and enrich us with more customs and traditions in future cause we will be enlighten to understand and appreciate Arab Culture More 🙏

The world class example for How to maintain a Historical Site.
In my debut visit I've surprised by the beauty of this historic monument.
In the evening with the lighting arrangement I thought I was standing this place before a century.
Water flowing structures in the outside of the fort is marvellous. Better to read the information engravings installed in the surroundings for better understanding about the history of the fort and site.
I feel great by visiting Qasr Al Muwaiji than visiting the Burj Khalifa.

Qasr Al Muwaiji has played an important role in the history of the United Arab Emirates and represents a fine example of early 20th century mudbrick architecture. It was built in the time of Sheikh Zayed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Zayed the First (r. 1855–1909) and his son, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan. Later it became the home and administrative base for the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Founding Father of the UAE, when in 1946 he became the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Ain Region. His eldest son, the late H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, was born at Qasr Al Muwaiji two years later and spent much of his youth there, learning from his father.
North West Tower
Qasr Al Muwaiji
It was here in the rooms located in NW Tower where H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the second president of UAE (2004-2022) spent much of his childhood. On 4 January 2010, the world's tallest man-made structure, originally known as Burj Dubai, was renamed the Burj Khalifa in his honour.
The Three towers
The towers at the three corners (NE, NW and SE) served purpose of protecting the settlements and Muwaiji oases from roaming bandits. In times of attack the large central courtyard was used to shelter the people from raiders.

I have seen many beautiful malls here in Al Ain and this is one of them. Its structure is unique and occupies a very large area of land. It has a wide parking area and well structured. I used bus 970 to get to this place and it was cool. Anyone who wishes to go there with bus will need to find out if the bus numbers going there have changed. I suggest the bus stop at the mall be built with seats so people could sit as they wait.

I recently visited Al Jimi Mall and I was quite impressed. The mall is large, clean and well-maintained. The mall has a good variety of shops and restaurants, which cater to a wide range of tastes and budgets.
One of the things I liked most about Al Jimi Mall is the variety of stores. Most of the brands here are international brands, like HM, Uniqol, Muji, Daiso, Footlocker, etc. As a young person, I prefer to buy clothing from this mall since it is quite modern. I also like traditional clothing brands but for daily looks I prefer casual clothes. And most of the brands here are affordable.
The mall also had a good entertainment options like a cinema which was great for families with children.
However, many of the stores are still awaiting for the brands. Hopefully it can be much busier in the future.

It's a very serene atmosphere here. I had a pleasant time taking a walk in this garden. It's a very large garden. I saw people in different corners either on the concrete seats, on the green grass or on a mat. I saw a good number of people taking a walk as well. There are swings, merry go round and other fun materials at the playground for kids and adults alike. Their are different entry and exit points depending on your destination. This is not the same Fun city we saw many years back. Not colorful , Many games not working , Rollercoaster ride was fun. And the Paddle boat. 5D cinema is also very nice. But it still looks like a very old setup. Anyway the ticket was cheap. AED 30 for weekdays and 60 for weekend & holidays. For that price all the games are free. They should do some more attractive entertainment tricks. And my favorite ride Thunder Bolt was closed. It was a scary ride those days. If they renew those games in a more attractive way, more people will visit.

Things to note:
1. When I went to this park with my brother and cousins the local receptionist told us that we can't go in the park because we were not family according to municipality. Family days were separately marked on the board outside the park wall. After us other locals with no family (bachelors) got in through the gate without being questioned. Why this biasness?
2. We went to different receptionist and she asked nothing regarding being in a family and just said thay we had to pay 240aed for tickets (60aedperticket) (pretty high in my opinion)
3. Nevertheless, we family got in through the gate because the security just took our ticket and let us in. Didn't get why the whole family drama was?
4. After completing my visit I noted the that many shops and rides were closed down.
5. There was no male prayer room.
6. The park was not maintained properly and up to standard. The water in pond where you drive the duck boat is contaminated and green. The infrastructure overall and the machines of rides were very old.
7. This is by far the most annoying thing. Local kids broke the cue to the rides again and again and the management seemes to be helpless and frustrated and couldn't do a thing to stop such behaviour. They would run through empty spaces and climb over the barricades of the lanes.
8. One of the fountains that I saw wasn't being used or wasn't working. It had no water.
Overall, the quality of the park went down from my last visit in 2018.
I would say if you are coming from Dubai to spend your Eid holiday or perhaps and any other day. Please don't go to this park. It's not worth it.
Driving 1hr from Dubai to and from the park is very tiring. It may be good for those who live in the same area and who don't have a second good option. This park used to be so charming couple of years ago.
It can be improved if the above issues that I experienced are acted and implemented upon.
Thank you.

Hili Archaeological Park
Hili Archaeological Park is one of the best-known archaeological sites in the United Arab Emirates. The park is part of the Hili Cultural Site and part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Al Ain. It contains Bronze Age (3000-1300 BCE) and Iron Age (1300-300 BCE) villages, burial grounds, and agricultural infrastructure. In the period between 2500 and 2000 BCE, the settlement at Hili expanded. This period is called the ‘Umm an-Nar’ period after the island off the coast of Abu Dhabi where remains of this culture were first found.
Hilli Site 1
Next to the Grand Tomb is Hili Site 1, once a tower built from mud bricks that would have stood several metres high. When it was excavated in the 1960s by Danish archaeologists at the invitation of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Founding Father of the United Arab Emirates, the tower was found to have a thick circular wall, within which were several rooms, served by a well in the centre. Only the foundations of this building remain today.
Hili 10 settlement
A similar structure, Hili 10, is located nearby and also has a central well. Its three-metre-wide circular wall suggests that it was once a stronghold, perhaps controlling trade routes across the region. It was first built during the Bronze age (3000-1300 BCE) and re occupied in Iron age.
Tomb E and N
These circular tombs are from Umm an-Nar’ period
Grand Tomb
Part pf UNESCO World Heritage listing, Hili Grand Tomb, dates about 2000 BCE (Bronze age). Built in a circular form with a diameter of up to 12 metres, and approximately 4 metres high, the tomb was used by people from Umm an-Nar culture to bury people from surrounding settlements. The tomb has two entrances decorated with beautifully engraved reliefs portraying human and oryx antelope figures.

This park has everything and it's super clean. let me list what they have under here,
- Calisthenic gym (basic) but does that job
- Basketball, tennis, football courts
- dozens of BBQ stands, you just need to bring the essentials to make a BBQ but not the equipment
- drinking water fountains dotted everywhere
- toilets dotted everywhere
- kids play area (slides)
- reading (Quiet area)
- beautiful mosque
- cafe
And big well done to the staff because they keep the place super clean.

Nice location and greeneries but very hard know the archeological details!

They have recently renovated a lot of areas inside this park, like the kids' playground, basketball court, and dining areas. It tends to get crowded at night but still spacious enough. No dinning and grocery store options inside. Also needs more manpower like security and cleaners.

Worth making the time to go see what's on display in Al Ain. The aircon wasn't working though upon out visit.

Visited classic cars museum attraction in Al Ain, however it was closed. I would advised you to call or to book an appointment ahead of time to avoid any inconveniences. Though Google says it's open from 9-5pm but when we reached there at 1pm, it's already closed, 10dhs entrance fee isn't bad at all to see these antique and classic cars.

By far the most disappointing car museum there is…

Combining history and style, the Al Ain Classic Car Museum collects, preserves and exhibits vehicles and informative books related to the evolution of transportation in the UAE. The museum has something for everyone, from seasoned petrol-heads to those with only a fleeting interest in automobile antiquities.
Excellent place for car lovers.

Very small collection of random cars, packed in so tight you can only see the front view. Less than 30min stopover.

Really quirky car museum. Not for everyone but I loved it
Zakher Lake is a man-made wonder located near the border with Oman, created from the wastewater released on the land. The lake increases groundwater levels, resulting in a beautiful combination of desert, lake, and mountains. The best time to visit Zakher Lake is during the summer months when it is full of water. There are lots of migratory birds in the lake and it's perfect for a picnic or barbecue.
Very nice and beautiful place, but some areas feels bit bad smell of water.

This place is good for the BBQ and camping but no washroom facilities,no available any shops nearby and you need to take all the bbq stuff with you.
Best to visit in this weather. Reservoir is full of water due to rains. Lot of migratory birds are in the lake. Some sheds are available to settle down
The water in the reservoir is not pure
sedan can access the main entrance, but if you plan to camp near Lake , you might need an SUV

This place is good for the BBQ. But I won’t recommend this place for camping ⛺️ specially who have kids.
From 8 pm to 2 am Habibies will go around on the land cruiser and Buggy. It will be very noise and kids won’t sleep until 2 am.

Very nice and peaceful place for nature lovers. Best to visit in this weather. Reservoir is full of water due to rains. Lot of migratory birds are in the lake. Perfect place for picnic n barbecue. Some sheds are available to settle down but no washroom or shops available. One feels too much close to nature. Loved this place.

Lake inside of desert, good for evening outing with kids, space available for cooking and eating. You can move foreword to other side of the lake if you have good 4x4 car.

Located in the outskirts of Al ain, (30 minute drive from Al ain town) Zakher lake is a hidden paradise. We took the truck road. The lake in the center of the desert surrounded by lush green reminded of a nostalgic childhood picture from Arabian storybooks. Multiple visits have always rejuvenated us and drove us away from the tiring city life. There is place for barbeque, camping, dune bashing, etc. Lots of picturesque frames is a promise. We visit the place on full moon nights to fully enjoy the beauty of nature. Jebel Hafeet can also be seen from distance.
The only drawback I find here is the improper deposits of waste materials, mostly after people camp or eat here. Please do something to make people understand about the importance of disposing waste properly, not leaving plastic and other materials in the sand. Authorities should intervene and do something to rectify the waste disposal problem at the earliest.

A perfect place to relax with bbq! You can explore more if you have a 4x4 and knows offroading. Lot of birds to be seen here and can also be a bird watchers paradise!
Asif Mahamood — Google review
Great camping location. Make sure to drive suv car. You can only reach the lake by crossing the desert sands (unlike other campsites wherein there's a trail) therefore driving a sedan will be a huge challenge.
